"Hey look at that Kazooie, it's an elf girl!" Banjo exclaimed to Kazooie with them in another world since they spotted Frieren ahead of them casually reading through a spell book.

Kazooie emerged from the backpack after resting in it for a while and squinted her Breegull eyes. "Sometime tells me that she's already seen more than enough in her life."

"What gives it away?"

"The lack of emotion in her face. She looks ancient despite the rest of her body seemingly showing otherwise."

Frieren farted out a relatively silent fart with her noticing the bear and bird were conversing about her. "Are you talking about me?"

"Well sort of yeah." Banjo admitted while rubbing the back of his head. "We just saw you and immediately assumed-"

"It's all right. I seem to be getting that sort of treatment a bit more than usual." Frieran responded while lowering her book. "I'm... not exactly that good at making friends."

"You're probably shy or something." Kazooie squawked while squeezing herself out of the backpack. "Why if you had a party with you then maybe you might not feel this way."

Frieren had a brief moment of emotion then raised her book back up, with Banjo and Kazooie turning to each other upon realizing exactly why this elf girl was acting in this rather strange manner.

"Hey I didn't mean-"

"It's all right... I was just remembering a good friend I had." Frieren said with her staying in her rather stoic pose. "He... would have most likely enjoyed your presence."

Banjo rubbed his chin after observing the scenery around him and glanced to the statue of a brave warrior. "Would it happen... to be this gentleman pictured here in this statue?"

"...yes." Frieren calmly said with her taking a good look at the statue of Himmel and then turning her focus back to the bear and bird. "The bond both of you have... it reminds me of him."

Kazooie smirked and tried her best to not snicker. "Well I certainly hope I wasn't moody to Banjo if that's the case."

"Kazooie!" Banjo snapped with him slamming Kazooie on the ground and then putting her back in his backpack. "Sorry... she likes doing those snide remarks. But I've learned to live with it..."

"Oh... I didn't realize that she could be so..." Frieren tried saying but was at a relative loss of words since she couldn't exactly put it into words what she wanted to say since she felt awkward. "...I don't seem to remember the proper word for it."

"Oh it's okay!" Banjo laughed with him approaching her in a reassuring manner. "Say there's a portal nearby that leads back to our home. Why don't you come by for a while, you seem like you could use a bit of relaxation."

"...but I have to practice my magic to take on demons..." Frieren pointed out with her unsure whether or not to follow the talking creatures.

"Please, we take care of the demons in our world easily." Kazooie boasted with her showing off the different elemental eggs and fathers in her wings. "They're nothing compared to us!"
