Monkey. was out in the forest training with his newly gained powers before he heard a twig snap.
He turned to see a man in a whole-body green cloak with a hood covering his head.
They both looked at each other.
The man lowered his hood, showing that he had the same black hair as Luffy and a red tattoo on the left side of his face.
"Who are you," Luffy asked as he cocked his arm back.
"Monkey D Dragon," The man said as he looked at Luffy, "And can I ask why you are out here and not with your grandfather," the boy asked.
"Grampa only cares for his job in the navy," Luffy said before shaking his head, "Why are you Monkey D; Gampa never told me about you," He said to the man.
Dragon scoffed as he flicked his wrist, and the wind shot out of his hand to cut the tree, "Both of those pieces of information do not surprise me," Dragon said before looking at Luffy, "I'm your father, Luffy," Dragon said as he sat down on a tree trunk.
"My father," Luffy muttered as he looked at Dragon, not knowing what to do with the information.
"That's right, and I asked my father, your grandfather, to raise and care for you," Dragon told him before looking around, "I can see that he failed to do the second," He muttered with a shake of his head.
Dragon then looked at Luffy with a raised brow, "So what are you doing out here," He asked his son.
"Training so that one day I can set out to sea and become a pirate and then get myself a crew and become the king of the pirates," Luffy said as Dragon nodded along.
"I see," Dragon said as he looked at Luffy, "Have you learned of the abilities that your birth had given you," Dragon asked his son, who shook his head.
"I have abilities other than the Gomu Gomu no Mi," Luffy asked his father, who nodded before stopping.
"What did you say your Devil Fuit's name was," Dragon asked.
"Gomu Gomu no Mi," Luffy said as he cocked his head to the side, "Why," Luffy asked.
"I have never heard of the Gomu Gomu no Mi," Dragon said as he looked at his son, "But I do have a way to know," He told his son, who nodded.
"And what is that," Luffy asked.
"Close your eyes," Dragon said as Luffy did just that.
"Now then, do you remember what your Devil Fruit looked like," Dragon asked his son, who nodded, "Then picture it in your mind, and once it's there, a name will come to you," Dragon told him as Luffy did just that.
"Hito Hito no Mi, Modle: Nika," Luffy said as Dragon's eyes shot wide just as Luffy opened his eyes, "But it's also called the Gomu Gomu no Mi," Luffy told him.
"Two names for the same Devil Fruit," Dragon said as he rubbed his chin before shaking his head, "But yes, anyway, you have other abilities from your Devil Fruit," Dragon said as Luffy looked amazed.
"What are they," Luffy asked with amazement as he looked at his father.
Dragon opened his mouth before closing it, "Before I say anything, I do have some questions," Dragon said as Luffy nodded, "What does your grandfather do for you," He asked.
"Do for me," Luffy asked back, his head cocked again.
"Does he make your food," Dragon asked, but Luffy shook his head, "Teach you about the world," Dragon asked, but Luffy shook his head again.
"Teach you language."
"No."
"How to read."
"Nope."
"Did he tell you about the reasons why he works in the navy."
"Not one."
"Has he given you a home in the village," Dragon asked as veins were bursting on his head.
"No," Luffy said as Dragon got up and angrily screamed at the sky.
"THAT FUCKING IDIOT I ASKED HIM TO DO ONE FUCKING THING AND LOOK AFTER HIS GRANDSON AND LET HIM BE WHO HE WANTS TO BE, BUT NO, HE COULD NOT," Dragon screamed as he ranted and paced while Luffy looked shocked at his.
But Dragon was not done yelling, but the man lifted his arm to show a tiny snail asleep, "Connect me to Vice Admiral Garp, passcode: 77B5-609R-8S77," Dragon said to the snail as it woke up.
"Yes, Sir," The Snail said to him before falling back asleep and then waking up again, "Yes, this is Vice Admiral Garp; how can I help you," A different voice sounded from the snail this time.
"Garp is me, your son," Dragon said into it.
"DRAGON, HOW DID YOU GET THIS NUMBER, I BETTER GET YOUR ASS FOR THIS OR YOU SAYING THAT YOU WERE ACTING AS A SPY SO THAT YOU CAN HELP THE NAVY," The snail yelled at Dragon.
"WHY THE HELL WOULD I WANT TO DO THAT YOU OLD FOOL AND THE FUCK HAVE YOU NOT BEEN TAKING CARE OF MY SON," Dragon yelled back as another person walked over to them.
"WHAT DO YOU MEAN I'VE BEEN TAKING EXCELLENT CARE OF LUFFY," Garp told him back.
"OH, I GET YOU ARE FORSING HIM TO BECOME A MARINE AND NOT LETTING HIM BE WHAT HE WANTS TO BE," Dragon asked as Garp scoffed at him.
"LUFFY WANTS TO BE A MARINE," Garp said back.
"Oh, really," Dragon asked before looking over to his son, "Luffy, what do you want to be," Dragon asked his son.
"Wait, you're with Luffy," Garp asked.
"Yes, now, Luffy," Dragon asked as he looked at his son.
"I want to be a pirate," Luffy said with no hint of hesitation in his voice.
"Nonsense, you want to be a marine like your grampa," Garp said, but Dragon scoffed, "What was that," Garp asked him.
"You have zero care for your family," Dragon said as Luffy looked shocked at his father, "You force things on us, and you want us to follow what you want," Dragon growled at him.
"That's not true," Grap growled back.
"Oh, really," Dragon said with anger, "Then, when I said I did not want to join the Marines, you forced me to join," Dragon said as Garp sputtered to him.
"Or what about when I told you that I wanted Luffy to follow any path he wanted and not one that you wanted; I see you're going to force him in the Marines as well," Dragon said as he glared at the snail on his arm.
"It's better than being a criminal," Grap growled through the snail.
"No, a criminal is better than someone who is a slave," Dragon said back.
"I'M NOT A SLAVE," Garp yelled at Dragon.
"Realy, you let the world nobles do what they, you serve at the beck and call, kill who they want," Dragon listed off as Luffy, and the other person was shocked.
"The marines don't-," Garp was saying.
"Ohara," Dragon said, cutting into whatever Garp was going to say, "Hundreds of lives that did nothing wrong but know a language deemed evil were wiped out for just knowing it," Dragon said as Garp went quiet.
"Inu Archipelago, when a celestial dragon did not like that a dog bit him, so you wiped out ten thousand men for nothing," Dragon said as the eyes of the snail looked defeated, "They had each and every home on every island in that archipelago was burnt to the ground with each man, woman and child killed for zero reason," Dragon growled into the snail.
Grap said nothing as both people with Dragon were shocked.
"Then let's move on to search of Gold D Roger's son, and with your marines killing every pregnant woman at the time as a child of a criminal is 'evil'," Dragon said as Garp still said nothing, "Do you still think that the Marines are just, father of mine," Dragon growled at him.
"And they call me the devil," Dragon said as Garp finally spoke.
"What do you want, son," Garp asked, sounding broken.
"I'm going to train my son to be a pirate, and by the time you get here, there will be my strongest officers that I have surrounding Dawn Island so that if this gets word to Sengoku, I know that my men can deal with it as they are the ones that stopped the Buster Call on Kokoro Island," Dragon told him.
The snail went quiet for a while before the sound of ruffling papers came out of the snail.
"Dragon, I, do you," Garp stammered as Dragon raised a brow at the snail.
"What do you want," Dragon asked him.
Garp said nothing for a while before letting out a sigh, "Is this a secure line," He asked his son.
"Yes, and you should have asked that before," Dragon said as he rolled his eyes.
"Yeah, yeah, so Sengoku and I have been trying to find a way for True Justice and get rid of the ones that believe in Absolute Justice," Garp said as Dragon nodded, "So we have been trying to think up a way to do that without our superiors finding out, and he had come up with the idea that involved a special task force," He told his son.
"SWORD," Dragon said as Garp sighed.
"So you heard about it, and so this is getting to the thing I was going to ask you," Garp said as Dragon narrowed his eyes, "I know full well that you're not going to back down and that Luffy or Ace will not become Marines so I wish to offer something that helps help is both," Garp said as Dragon raised a brow at him.
"And what is that," Dragon asked.
"I want Luffy to work with the Marines in taking out the bad ones along with the dirty ones along with dealing with the seven warlords that are making trouble," Garp said as Dragon raised a brow at him, "And if you agree to do so I'll hand select a marine to join the brat and help him run a good ship," He told him son who looked at Luffy.
"What do you think, Luffy," Dragon asked his son, who cocked his head.
"What, I think what," Luffy asked his father.
"Your grandfather is thinking about sending one of his Marines over here to help in your training, and that one that he's going to send will join your crew as well," Dragon said as Luffy nodded, "Do you think that's going to be a good idea," He asked.
"Yep," Luffy nodded at his father.
"You heard that old man," Dragon said to his father.
"That I did, and I'll bring them personally as well," Garp told him son.
"That's a good idea, and I have one to help you get these on our side," Dragon said as he gained a thoughtful look, "I know I can trust you, so I'm going to send you all the very secrets that I managed to get from the Marines as well as the celestial dragons," Dragon said.
"And when the one I pick will read all that, they will like the choice that I have," Garp said with a large smile, "Alright then, when can you send over the information," He asked his son.
"It will reach you in about three to four days," Dragon told him as he could hear shuffling papers once more.
"Good, I'll await the information," Garp said before the snail fell asleep once with a click sound.
He then turned to the other boy that was with them.
He had curly black hair and sported rather childish freckles, with a shade of black eyes similar to Luffy's.
He wore a t-shirt with the phrase 'innocent', knee-length black shorts, and dark brown, flat, slipper-like shoes.
"And you must be Ace," Dragon said as he looked at the boy.
"Yeah, so what," Ace asked with a raised brow.
"I'm going to train Luffy how to be a strong pirate," He said to the boy, who looked shocked, "Are you going to join us," Dragon asked with a raised brow.
It had been five days since Dragon had talked with his father; Monkey D Garp sat in his office as he looked over the information again.
He had been reading the information daily, and no matter what he re-read, he knew it was all true.
Before he could read more, a knock came at his office door, "Come in," Garp called out as a man in a white suit walked in.
He had a long, black braided goatee and a moustache and at his side was a goat.
"You called me Garp," The man said as he walked over before seeing the man, "By god, what happened to you," He asked as he sat down.
"Dragon called me five days ago, and two days ago, one of his delivered this book," Garp said as the man opened his mouth, "Inside, it holds information that all the wrongdoings of the 'good' world, Senny," Garp said as he handed the book over to the man.
'Senny' opened the book and read the first two pages, and his eyes started to widen, "Is this correct," He asked Garp.
"100%," Garp said with a long sigh.
"We knew the problem was bad, but this," The man said before he closed the book, "And we can't do anything, even with SWORD," He added.
"I know, and that is why I have made a deal with Dragon," Garp said as the man raised a brow.
"And what is this deal, Garp," The man asked.
Garp looked at the man for a while before standing up and looking out his office window at sea, "The deal was that if I let my grandson follow his dream to become a pirate, both of them would help me take out and remove the dirt from the marines," Garp said he heard a shift behind him, "In return for helping me I offered to send aid form one of our Marines to join my grandson's crew," Garps said.
"Garp, are you a fool," 'Senny' yelled at him.
"No, Sengoku, I'm not, and you only read a small bit of that book," Garp said as he turned to the now-named Sengoku, "The dirty ones are everywhere; take that one that people want to be an admiral; Sakazuki I think his name was," Garp said as he picked the book up and started to turned the pages until he reached the right page.
"What about him," Sengoku asked as Garp handed him the book again.
Sengoku read the page that Garp selected, and his eyes widened, "This can't be right," Sengoku said.
"It is, as I looked into it myself yesterday and found that it was true," Garp said with a shake of his head.
Both men then stood in silence as they sat back down.
After a few minutes, Sengoku started speaking, "So, who are you sending to join him," He asked.
"Commodore Doll," Garp said as Sengoku nodded.
"Not a bad choice," He said with a nod before gaining a look, "I think I have something to aid her," Sengoku said as he then looked at Garp.
"And what is that," Garp asked him.
"As you know, we gather as many Devil Fruit as we can get our hands on," Sengoku said as Garp nodded, "And now we have a box full of them," Sengoku told him as Garp looked amazed.
"You get the box, and I'll get her," Garp said as he stood up.
Sengoku nodded, and the two of them walked out of his office, "We'll meet back here," Garp said as the men started to walk around.
Garp walked over to the made docks of the headquarters, where he found the woman he was looking for, "Commodore Doll," Garp called out as they turned to him.
They are a tall woman with blue eyes, long eyelashes and short, black hair with bangs.
She wore a black, short-sleeved top, black leather pants, spiked choker, hoop earrings, and tattoos on her arms.
"Yes, Vice Admiral," They asked him.
"I have an assignment for you; follow me," Garp said as he returned to his office.
Doll looked confused, but she followed after him.
They walked back into his office, and he opened the door for her once she walked in, he walked in before closing the door behind him, "Now, I know why what you must be thinking being called here, and the reason is that both Sengoku and I have a plan to clean up the Marines," Garp said as he walked around his desk and sat in his seat.
"What do you mean, sir," Doll asked him.
He held out a hand indicating to the book that lay on his desk as the women looked at it, "This book holds information that shows how dirty the Marines, along with the World Government, really is," Garp told them as the woman with the choker picked up the book and started to read through it and shock came over her face with each face she read before she looked up at Garp.
"I hate to ask," Doll asked with a shaken voice.
"It's all true," Garp told her, who did not like that.
"Then what do you want me to do, Vice Admiral," She asked him as she put the book down with shaking hands.
Garp looked at her as he folded his hands together, "Both Sengoku and I have a plan to clean up both the Marines and the World Government, but we can't act as Marines," Garp said as the woman nodded, "So the plan is that you join my grandson who is going to be a pirate and help take out the dirty marines," Garp said as Doll raised a brow at him.
"So you want me to go and become a pirate," She asked him as he nodded.
"That's right, but do not think you are going in with nothing," Garp said as the women looked amazed.
"And am I getting," Doll asked him.
"Me and Sengoku are going to give you a Devil Fruit before I take you to the island where you will train in using your Devil Fruit along with how to use Haki and Rokushiki along with whatever you would like to learn as well," Garp told her as he waited silently for the women to decide before they nodded.
"I'll go," The woman said.
"Good, now then, I need to know what you know before I send you over," Garp asked her as she started to list her abilities.
After a few minutes, Sengoku walked in with an elderly woman holding a large chest in his hands.
"I told Tsuru everything," Sengoku said as he placed the chest on the desk.
"Good," Garp said as he opened the chest.
Doll opened the chest and started looking at the Devil Fruit before she picked out one that looked like a black pomegranate with swirls that covered the fruit, and the swirls were in shades of orange, cyan and purple.
She took hold of it before Garp closed the chest.
Doll opened the pomegranate and started to eat the seeds, and she made a face of disgust at the seed's flavour.
But she made sure to eat all the seeds.
"How do I know-," Doll was saying before her body started to change as she moved to all fours, and her hands and feet turned into paws as black fur began to grow out of her body as it became more canines.
Her body also grew in size as well.
"Amazing," Garp said before turning to Sengoku, "Is that what happened to you," He asked him as the man nodded.
"Yep, she ate a Zone-type Devil Fruit," Sengoku said as he looked up at Doll, who looked around in amazement at her new size.
But she was not looking around with just her head.
She also had two other heads.
"The Inu Inu no Mi, Model: Cerberus," The elderly woman said as they looked at Doll.
