(author's note: In this chapter, Raiden suplexes The Corpse of King Minos much like he does to MG Excelsus and MG Ray in MGRR. in this post someone calculates that Minos's Corpse weighs at least 28 Billion tonnes. I will disregard this and make it up.)
The undercity was dark and cold. Pieces of ragged paper skittered across ruined floors. Dried blood had been spilled upon everything in sight from a great slaughter which had happened to this place, lit up every so often by the ambient and silent lightning which would snake across the sky every now and then. Raiden walked past a directional sign, pointing to the left and reading Subway.
He shrugged and decided to follow it.
Anything leading me deeper will help me finish this job, he thought to himself, I better be getting paid well for this.
He descended a set of stairs into more darkness, the darkness was so dark in fact that it was like walking into space. He stepped onto a strange platform, which rocked slightly as he put his whole weight onto it.
Suddenly, blinding lights were slammed on, leading all the way down the subway tunnel. He realised at this moment that he had walked onto a moving carriage, and the platform began to lurch forward hitting incredible speed very quickly.
And from the ceiling fell the Swordsmachine, eyes red and shotgun pointed right at Raiden's face.
The carriage rocketed down the rails, deeper and deeper into the tunnel it went, further down. Raiden crouched down, avoiding the shotgun blast. He then spun around on his hands sweeping the Swordsmachine off its feet. It fell sideways, crashing down on the metal platform in a confused heap.
A screeching sound of wheels grinding steel came from behind them, and Raiden turned back, staring at the sparks flying from another approaching platform.
"Great, a safe carriage I can escape to!" He said, leaping across the gap towards the other platform.
Unfortunately just as he came close to landing he realised it was full of bloodthirsty enemies - Filth, Strays and other disgusting denizens of Hell.
Fortunately, he felt a chain wrap itself around his leg, pulling him back to where the Swordsmachine was waiting with the shogun ready. Raiden waited to grow near to the Swordsmachine, cutting the Whiplash chain off of his leg, while grabbing onto the other half and pulling with all his strength. The Swordsmachine couldn't possibly win in a strength contest against Raiden, and was flung into the air.
Raiden swung the chain around and around himself many times, like a hammer thrower.
The machine let out a long electrical 'scream' when Raiden let go of the chain.
Swordsmachine immediately blasted away down the tunnel at immense speed, disappearing into the darkness but Raiden wouldn't let it away so easily. Just as he would say back in his xbox days.
"Never let a grunt escape." Raiden leapt after the Swordsmachine, pushing himself off of the platform with enough force to fly. The wind howled as he rushed through the air with blade in hand and murderous intent on his eyes.
He collided with the Swordsmachine again with a dropkick, sending the robot exploding forward, pitifully crashing through a large set of blast doors - blood splattering in every direction.
Raiden vaulted through the hole after the Swordsmachine which was struggling to keep itself standing upright.
Raiden grabbed it and chucked it into the air. His eyes narrowed, heart raced in his iron chest, slamming against it like a drum. Blue lightning snaked around his body. Time seemed to slow down yet again. And he activated the Zandatsu mode and began cutting at will.
He slashed his sword rapidly and efficiently, blade tearing up the yellow robotic body with total ease, blood pouring like a scarlet fountain.
When he was done, the machine was nothing more than a pile of bloodied pieces on the floor. Its head was still intact however.
Raiden kneeled beside his victim, breathing heavier from the slight exertion.
"SO, YOU… - O YOU'VE BEATEN…. Me." The Swordsmachine uttered in a broken tone its ruined vocal capacitor could barely muster.
"You can't fight nature," he began, remembering his fight against Monsoon, "wind blows, rain falls and the strong prey upon the weak."
"THAT… IS UNNECESSARILY EDGY.. THING I'VE HEARD. AND I LIVE IN HELL."
"You haven't heard the speech about memes yet." Raiden laughed.
"DON'T REST EASY, NINE TENTHS MACHINE. THERE IS ANOTHER GREATER ENEMY WHO HAS NOTICED YOUR PRESENCE….. AS FOR ME…. OPERATIONS…. TeRmiNAted…….."
"What enemy?" Asked Raiden hurriedly. But it was too late.. The Swordsmachin had gone silent.
And then, suddenly, the ceiling was torn away by a great force. Two colossal spotlight eyes bore down on Raiden and the Titanic walking corpse reared its fist ready to crush Raiden to tiny pieces.
"Do I EVER get a break!!!?" Raiden shouted frustratedly as he dodged the massive fist which fell down like a whole world crashing down to the ground. No doubt, this was
THE CORPSE OF KING MINOS.
Raiden rolled to the side, avoiding the shockwave of rubble and splatters of blood which flew out from the giant's fist. Its crown was even more visible now - a huge epithet made of different towers. In life, this man was a mighty ruler. However, Raiden spared little time to think about this as the Corpse raised its arm back again. It stood high in the air, staring down upon the tiny cyborg with menace and malice.
The spotlights outshined the titan's body, obscuring its features and turning it into a mere shadow, massive and cosmic.
Raiden anticipated the next attack waiting for it to come crashing down. A grey rotting arm flew out from the sky, right above Raiden. At over thirty times his size it threatened to crush him instantly. However, just as it was about to crush him down to the ground with massively hypersonic speed, he caught its decaying knuckle in both his arms, the ground buckling beneath him due to the immense pressure.
The Corpse of King Minos pushed down, down. Bearing ever increasing pressure on Raiden, who stood strong.
The giant stood to its full height, over 400 feet towering over Raiden. But Raiden held fast onto the knuckle. He yelled out in exertion and hauled the fist over his shoulder with his entire strength, causing the corpse to stagger. Raiden had won. He felt his muscle fibres burst with energy, his eyes opened wide, he cried in trying as he lifted hundreds of thousands of massive tonnes over his shoulder, suplexing the titan into the city.
The ground shook violently, like a boat in stormy water as the Corpse of King Minos hit the ground, obliterating hundreds of city blocks instantly.
Raiden was flung through the air by the sheer inertia, flying right towards the corpse's chest. He prepared his sword, slashing right through the sternum with a single strong cut. He descended into the rotting, decrepit darkness of its chest cavity, watching the dim light and smoke above slowly disappear..
Below him was nothing - simply darkness. But he felt a strange power emanating from below - something locked away, desperate to be free.
