Soon it was the day of the finals. Sal was mad that everything fell apart on his birthday and he didn't show up to most of the practices, leaving Luke and Ollie to practice on their own.
"We can't go one birthday without some kind of war or revenge plot being carried out. All of us cosmic buddies get ruined birthdays." Bill says.
"Yeah, we seem to be hated." Savannah says.
"I'm not speaking to any of you." Sal says.
"Sal, we're sorry!" Savannah says.
"Why are you so obsessed over your birthday now?" Bill asked.
"I WAS TURNING 18, OKAY?! I don't obsess over all my birthdays. Just this one!" Sal says before he walks off.
"We need to redo it." Savannah says. "After the show. And if you say no, then you can forget about me baking for any of your birthdays!"
"Fine, we'll do it." Jason says, annoyed.
"And wipe that attitude off your face. You're staying for the whole show, whether you like it or not!" Savannah says before going to join her team.
Jason pushed Angry Luigi, annoyed.
With Luke, he knew the finals were here. But now he wondered if he should win, or if Remy should win. Either way, the show would have a winner or a tie for first place. Whatever came up was fine with him.
He was also nervous. There would be interviews throughout the show, but every team would have an opening interview before the show.
He watched Remy dress himself. Deep down, Luke didn't care if he lost. He just wanted Remy to win for once. He deserved it way more than Luke did.
"Okay, let's party, they say…" Jason muttered as he got dressed.
Later, Angry Luigi and Alem tuber walk and see Wlem and Wandy.
"What?!" Alem tuber says, annoyed.
"We heard a party was going to happen, so we may stop by." Wlem says as they leave.
"Oh, brother..." Emma says.
Soon, the Hot Slice Experience was getting ready for their interview. Cuphead pulled on his letter jacket and grinned.
"Hands off the merchandise, ya'll. I scored this little number from the Gucci store." Cuphead says. "And yes, I bought it."
Girls cheered, swooning over him. They soon arrived.
"Hey, guys, glad you could make it." Dave says
"Glad to be here." Mugman says.
"What can I say, except that I'm always glad to grace you all with my presence." Cuphead says.
"So, how does it feel to be in the finals?" Dave asked the group.
"Amazing." Mona says. "Mugsy and Cuppy here are regular ladies' men…"
"What can we say? We're just irresistible." Mugman says as two single pictures of Cuphead and Mugman shirtless with their ten-pack abs showing on the screen, making girls scream for more.
"We are so going to win." Cuphead says.
Soon, Melony arrived with Garrett. Remy and Stephen were already there.
"We are going to win, no matter what." Melony says.
"No aggressive behavior. My mom already warned me." Garrett says.
Sal sighed in his room. He could see Shane begging Luke to forgive him.
"Why should I forgive a loser water boy who only wanted me to do his dirty work for him?" Luke hissed.
"I'm really sorry…I've learned my lesson…" Shane says as he cries, on his knees in front of Luke.
"I'm going to get a camera. And it's going to record everything. Stand up. Because we're gonna do this properly." Luke says.
Shane gets up.
"Here's how this is gonna work. When that camera comes on, you're going to get on your knees and apologize. Then I'm dropping my pants. And you're gonna kiss the most famous ass on this planet right now. Which is mine." Luke says. "Do you understand what you just heard, Shane?"
Shane nods as Luke soon returns with a cameraman. The cameraman soon begins recording this.
Shane gets on his knees. "Luke, I'm so sorry for making you a water boy and abusing you so much…please forgive me!" He cried.
Luke drops his pants. "You know what you have to do if you want my forgiveness." Luke says.
Shane kissed his ass as the cameraman filmed the whole thing.
Girls were screaming, seeing Luke's butt. No one screamed more than Marcy.
Savannah arrived to see Sal, Angry Luigi, and Melony in a garbage can.
"Well, that's the daily life." Savannah says sadly and helps them out.
Angry Luigi looked down, depressed like usual.
Soon, Savannah thinks. Should she leave them? Or stay because they're pretty good performers.
"They're better off without me." she says. But she would stay for Jerbo's sake. He needed the support and she loved her siblings.
Luke was trending higher. #ShaneIsAnAssKissingWaterboy was also trending.
"How bad is it?" Melony asked, holding her left foot.
"Really bad." Savannah says.
"I can't believe I'm missing out." Melony says.
"No, I mean, I'm sorry, Melony, but your chances really decreased." Bill says "You're not going to win."
Melony began to stress as she accidentally unleashed a energy wave of her pent up emotions, blasting Angry Luigi and Sal into a brick wall.
"Shut up, shut up!" Melony says as Mike and Josh laughed at this.
"Why, you little!" Melony screamed And chased them, but Oime held her and put her on a light pole and walked away.
"Fight me fair and square, I just…" Melony says, her dreams of being the 1st blind person to win ANH about to be crushed by Luke.
Meanwhile, Willow, Gus, Viney, and Jerbo had an interview.
"So, Jerbo, I have a question. Do you intend to win 2 different shows in the same year?" Gemma asked.
"If I win or if I lose, I had the best time being here." Jerbo says. "You better believe we'll be here next season, too!"
Girls screamed for Jerbo.
Later, Luke, Sal, and Ollie were next. Luke brought Shane back into the group on certain conditions.
"So, Luke, why bring Shane back?" Dave asked.
"There are certain conditions." Luke says.
"Like what?" Dave asked.
"He has to kiss Luke's butt after our first performance. Live." Ollie says.
"And Shane has to promise never to hurt Luke again. Or else Mike, Oime, and Josh get to beat him up while Luke watches." Sal says.
"And he has to be my servant for the rest of this year." Luke says. "Win or lose."
Meanwhile, Alem tuber was on patrol, looking for Begmax with Delta.
"This is boring." Delta says and sees something on her phone. Everyone was excited to see Shane kiss Luke's butt. And it was even more exciting to hear that Shane would be doing it on stage.
"No villains in sight." Delta sighed.
Later, Remy gets ready for his group's interview. They soon enter to see Gemma as Remy wasn't smiling much.
"What's wrong?" Gemma asked Remy, concerned.
"His confidence is crushed." Garrett says.
"What? But how?" Gemma asked.
"Because of that Shane video, it got Luke way more fans." Melony says.
"Justice for Luke! Justice for Luke!" Fans chant outside.
Melony rubs Remy's back. But Remy just looked away. Luke was his friend and he hated this treatment he was getting.
"I'm sure you can win." Gemma says. Remy left. He was sick of the show playing favorites.
"I hope you don't play favorites on the Luke and Shane show. I hope you realize other people have talent, too." Melony says to Gemma.
Remy was far away enough to where he stood on top of the Las Vegas sign.
Everyone was looking. Remy screamed.
"You're playing favorites?!" Victoria says to Gemma.
"Isn't it obvious? Why do you think Luke always wins?" Rusty says.
"Maybe there shouldn't be a finals show tonight. Maybe the teams should stage a walkout!" Garrett says.
"No, please!" Gemma says "I don't pick favorites!"
"Then why does Luke win so much?" Viney asked.
"Because there was no one in the past that could beat him without tying. The cosmic buddies were so not winning. Neither were the Moon Goats." Gemma admitted.
"So she is playing favorites!" Gus says.
"So there was a chance Randy or Luna could have won or even me?" Tina asked.
"Exactly." Willow says.
Meanwhile, Alem tuber walked ahead, but Windy shot a gust of wind and dirt in his eyes and grabbed his head.
"Randy!" Angry Luigi says and runs.
Melony ran, but was stopped by Begmax's guards.
"Crud." Melony says.
Meanwhile
"Not cool!" The Chipmunks say. The Chipettes were on tour, so they weren't here.
"Yeah, how could you?" Dave says
"You liked Luke better than us that one time we were in there." Theodore says, heartbroken
Haiku holds Remy.
"Walkout! Walkout! Walkout!" Jerbo led the chant.
"Look, I'll host the finals show alone." Dave says. "I can't believe you did this."
Gemma looks ashamed.
"Walkout! Walkout! Walkout!" The teams chanted.
"Look, the show will go on fairly." Dave assured them. "Boys, would you like to host it with me?"
"For sure! Wait till the girls see this!" Alvin says.
Meanwhile, Sal dodged a few attacks and went for a card strike, but was slammed down and tossed up.
"Sal!" Delta says and caught him and placed him down before taking out her knives and points at Speedyquick.
"You are going to hell!" Delta says as they speed around as Delta punches him and cuts his arm open with her knife and then kicks him up. She then leaps up and slams him down.
Flameshooter tries shooting flames, but Melony dodges as Aquashooter traps her in a water bubble, leaving her defenseless as some robot ninjas look for the Waterlashes.
Angry Luigi hammered Windy away, saving his brother and worries about Skara and Emma before Windy shot a gust of wind, sending him into the road before Angry Luigi gets run over by a truck.
Delta kicked Windy from behind then sped around attacking the robot ninjas and punched Aquashooter.
She noticed a few fireballs, but dodged them "Chaos Spear!" She says shooting energy spears at Flameshooter, causing an explosion.
Melony was free. "Do you honestly think you can win?" Anti-Hybrid says on a building "You're not, so just come with me."
Melony growled, but Delta kicked him. "You find Remy."
Melony grumbled and went off as Anti-Hybrid escaped.
With the others, Jerbo started leading more chants as Willow and Gus were calling Raine and the other coven leaders.
"1,2! Sucks to be you! 3,4! You love playing favorites more!" Jerbo led this chant toward Gemma as several others followed suit.
Raine and the coven leaders soon arrived to see this.
Gemma looks down in shame.
"Why did you think playing favorites was a good idea, huh? This show doesn't always revolve around Luke, you know." Raine says. "Luke is not the only talented one on this show!"
Gemma sighed, guilty. She knew she was wrong for playing favorites, and now that she was exposed for doing so, it made her feel even more guilty.
Jerbo began making a speech on stage during his group's rehearsal.
"Ladies and gentlemen, your gracious female host of this show has played favorites for several seasons! She fails to see that the other contestants have talent, too." he says. The crowd gasped.
"It's true!" Viney says, allowing Gus to show several instances of it using his illusion magic.
"She would never give other contestants a chance to win. She would always give it to Luke." Willow says.
The crowd was in shock. "No way!" one crowd member gasped.
"Yes way!" Willow says. "She would do this during multiple seasons, leaving other contestants to doubt that they even had enough talent to satisfy her needs for high-caliber performances. Thus meaning, she would always pick Luke to win because he satisfied those needs."
"And most times, Luke wouldn't even want to win. He would be seen trying to let others have a chance, but Gemma always insisted that he should win." Viney says. "The show stopped being fun after that."
The Adventure Kids looked down. They couldn't believe what they were hearing. They were here to be guest judges for the finals.
Melony was on the floor looking down and questioning herself. Remy was sobbing.
Soon, there were 2 hours left as Jerbo staged a walkout.
"Go ahead, Jerbo, I tried, but I was shot down." Alem tuber says.
"People actually listen to me, little bro." Skara says.
The Foxes were preparing and actually saw this.
"Did you hear? Jerbo is staging a walkout!" Luke says. "His idea is that if no teams are around at show time, there will be no show. It's to protest against Gemma since she plays favorites."
"Where do we sign up?" Oliver asked.
Everyone began to sign up as Dave saw this.
"Fine, all right…I won't play favorites anymore! Just don't drop out!" Gemma says, not wanting her show to die.
"Then admit everyone has talent." Alem tuber says
"I admit Luke's friends have had multiple chances of winning." Gemma says.
"What about us?" Cynthia asked.
"You could use some practice." Gemma says.
Soon, the show was starting. Remy was still gone as Dave began talking.
"Welcome to the America's Next Hitmaker Season 8 finals, live from Las Vegas! We are bringing this show to you live from The Mirage, a fabulous hotel known for giving guests an amazing time! And tonight, you're in for just that, ladies and gentlemen!" Dave says. "Our five final teams will be giving you the show of a lifetime, competing for the grand prize. Here is how our rounds will look tonight…" He says as he shows the list on a few screens around the theater.
The rounds will go as follows:
Make Your Own Musical Number (each team was to create a show using a song of their choosing)
Best Of Season 8 (each team picks their favorite season 8 performance)
Rock What You Got (teams will do their final performances in a freestyle format)
"At the end of all the performances, votes will be tallied and the grand prize winner will be crowned. But 2nd to 5th place will also leave with something tonight. We don't want our teams to leave empty-handed. So if you want your team of choice to take tonight's grand prize, please remember to vote!" Dave says. "Without further ado, Alvin, would you introduce the first team?"
"The first team coming up is the Hot Slice Experience!" Alvin says.
"Cuppy! Mugsy!" Girls screamed as the group appeared.
The group did their Sharp Dressed Man show that they put together as the fans couldn't get enough of them.
They ended with the cup brothers showing their abs. Girls and women shrieked with excitement.
"You're so hot!" They all screamed and fainted.
"Just how do they look that good?" Griffin asked as he got ready with his siblings.
"I heard they work out every day for months at a time, at an exclusive and elite gym." Stevie says. "Those 10-pack abs are impressive."
"Coming up next, the team that is sure to leave a grand impression!" Simon says. "The team of Sal, Ollie Chen, Shane Loud, and Luke Huntington!"
"Remember, Shaney-boy, you gotta pucker up at the end of this performance…" Ollie says. Shane gulped and nodded.
The four of them soon appear on stage and start performing their show that they based off the song Look What You Made Me Do by Taylor Swift.
The fans were really into it and really liked everything about this stage performance.
A whole row of fans wore Luke t-shirts as Luke smiled at them before focusing back on the performance.
At the end of the performance, the moment arrived as Luke dropped his pants on stage. Shane teared up and kissed his ass as kids covered their eyes. The rest of the crowd roared and laughed at Shane. A lot of women and girls screamed upon seeing Luke's butt.
Shane looked embarrassed as the group left the stage.
Melony got ready. Garrett was looking for Remy as Melony got ready.
Melony finds him. "Remy, look, we are not going to lose, okay?" She says.
"You're just saying that to make me feel better!" Remy sobbed.
"I promised you we'd win. We have to win." Melony says.
"Coming on stage, the fantastic Fox Quintuplets!" Dave says.
The Foxes came on stage and did their Me And My Broken Heart performance.
Fans cheered. They were in love with the Foxes and their costumes.
Meanwhile, Jitro and his squad arrive, having bought tickets and sees the cosmic buddies glaring.
" It's on" Alem tuber says but they walked by them.
"We aren't here to fight tonight." Jitro says. "It's our night off."
"Okay, lazy heroes, stay here at the Luke show while we go cause some pop." Alem tuber says as he, Alex, and Jack walk out.
"Where are we going?" Alex asked.
"On patrol and maybe to find the Luke Defense Force if they show up." Alem tuber says.
"Those guys seem to pick favorites." Jack says.
Angry Luigi noticed Emma trying to jump on Alem tuber's back, but Alem tuber shoved her off as he was still annoyed.
Emma glared. "You like Skara better than us, don't you?" Emma says
"She talks less. That's a start and people actually know her name." Alem tuber says.
Meanwhile
"Who cares about some dumb Luke fan group? I'm not afraid. I'm winning this with my team and everyone's dreams will be saved." Melony says confidently.
"You think you can help Remy win? That's sad." Rudy says as Melony shoves a melon in his mouth, shutting him up.
Soon, the Foxes finished as the girls went nuts when the boys took off their shirts.
"Oh, Oliver…" One girl says, swooning.
"You look great, Griffin!" Another girl says.
"Stevie! I love you!" A third girl screamed.
The Foxes smiled as they soon walked off stage.
Emma was thinking. "Um…what do you want for your birthday?" Emma asked Skara.
"Hmmm…new Grudgby gear, since I know I'm Banshees team captain this year…then I want a guitar so I can master the symphokinesis skills that go with it, a new palisman, some Die Bard 3 merchandise since it's in the stores already, and the new Sidestreet Guys album…they're super dreamy…" Skara sighed dreamily. "And of course I want the newest Electric Skates concert DVD set…"
Emma nods.
Melony was getting ready. "You guys ready?" Melony asked.
Remy nodded as Garrett held his hands.
"Are you okay?" Garrett asked him. He nods.
Later…
"Coming on stage, a team that is set on winning, Melony, Garrett Miller, Remy Estevez, and Stephen Meyers!" Theodore says.
The group appeared in chef costumes and performed a show using Simply Irresistible by Robert Palmer.
Fans cheered seeing this, especially when the boys took off the tops from their costumes. But Remy hesitates to take his top off.
"Don't make me do it!" Remy cried.
"Come on, Remy, it's okay." Stephen says. "Do it."
He does so as girls are screaming for him. Remy smiled nervously.
Backstage, Jerbo was getting ready with his team.
"Are we ready to go on?" Jerbo asked them.
"Jerbo, I think you 4 should go on without me. You'll be fine." Savannah says.
"I still appreciate you being backstage with me." Jerbo says with a smile as he hugs Savannah.
"Coming up next…" Dave starts.
"Jerbo, Viney, Gus and Willow!" The crowd cheers.
"That's right! Viney Maki, Jerbo Jones, Gus Porter, and Willow Park! And they have a spectacular performance planned!" Simon says.
The four of them appear and do a magic-based performance to Abracadabra by the Steve Miller Band.
The crowd was going wild for the group. They finished with magic fireworks that spelled their names as the crowd cheered for them.
The first break of the show soon began as Dave interviewed the Foxes.
"So, do you think you will win?" Dave asked them.
"Hopefully." Oliver says.
Alvin had the honor of interviewing The Hot Slice Experience.
"So, my cup counterpart…" Alvin says.
"Huh?" Mugman asked.
"You're just like me, but a cup. We're kinda bros." Alvin says.
"Okay. So, what do you wanna ask us?" Cuphead asked.
"What would you do if you won?" Alvin asked.
"Mostly be humble about it. Then party at the finest speakeasy in the Inkwell Isles." Mugman says. "Oh, did Cuppy tell you he has a single he'll perform later?"
Girls screamed with excitement at the sound of that.
Meanwhile…
"What's so good about abs?" Melony asked. Garrett looked offended.
"I mean, I'm sorry if I offended you. It's just I'm not like everyone else." Melony said.
Stephen starts explaining about abs.
Melony blushed.
"The cups have very impressive ones…" Remy says.
Simon was interviewing Luke, Shane, Ollie, and Sal.
"So how do you do your hair?" Simon asked Shane.
Shane smiles and tells him how he keeps his curls so naturally bouncy and fluffed.
"Interesting! Now, Ollie, tell me, what do you do besides perform in shows and pageants?" Simon asked.
"Ghost hunting. My family and I are ghost hunters. We are known as the Ghost Chaser Chens. And my role on the team is the research specialist. My sister June is the tech wizard of the team, and she has autism." Ollie says. "My dad is the lead investigator, and my mom does all the video and graphic design stuff."
"Fascinating stuff!" Simon says.
"Yeah. Ghost hunting isn't an easy job sometimes, but we do it right and get the job done, that's for sure. My dad's also opening his root beer pub in Royal Woods soon and my mom, well, considering she's kind of a food connoisseur now, is the new food critic for the Royal Woods newspaper." Ollie says.
"Amazing! So, Luke, I understand you have a bit of news to share with our viewers." Simon says.
"Yes. Yes, I do." Luke says.
"So, what is your news?" Simon asked Luke.
"Well, me and Ollie have started a party planning company together. We even got Shane on board." Luke says.
Fans cheered.
Later
"Nice job, you're in first place, Jerbo!" Savannah says.
Jerbo grinned. "I know." He says.
Meanwhile, Lucy was planning Luke's birthday and Shane's as Luke came up to her.
"Hey, Lucy, um, Ollie and Shane will be planning my birthweek this year, so…" Luke says.
"But…That's the only motivation in my life. Doing things for you." Lucy says and teleports away.
"Sweetheart, let her help at least a little bit." Charity tells him. "I didn't give you your birthweek back just to tell Lucy that she couldn't help plan it. We talked about this behavior, Luke Flynn."
"Fine." Luke says.
Alem tuber noticed Luke's vote count going higher then Jerbo and gave Skara a something is up look.
"How do we interrogate them?" She asked
Alem tuber looks at Melony "You can feel any vibration? Even humans?" Alem tuber asked.
"Anything. That's how I've adapted. Why?" Melony asked.
"Skara, tell Dave to make sure Remy's team goes last in the second round. Melony and I are going to fix this." Alem tuber says he flew off carrying Melony.
They arrive at a blue tower as elemental beams try hitting them but they dodged as Alem tuber bust through the doors.
Skara looked down. "I wanna help Remy!" She says.
"Do you really?" Angry Luigi asked, getting ready to go make sure his twin lives.
"Yes!" Skara says.
"Okay, fine, you can come." Angry Luigi and speeds off as he and Skara arrive to see the door was down
"So what's the plan?" Angry Luigi asked.
"Get one to spill the beans." Skara says.
They walk around and see Alem tuber punching and kicking some members
"Why are you helping Luke?!" Melony asked
"We're not!" One guy says.
"Wrong answer!" Skara says, kicking him.
"Fine, Gemma paid us last week to make sure Luke wins." The leader says as Melony was about to give him a wet Willie.
"Nothing beats wet willies." She says and does it anyway as he screamed.
"Our job is done." Melony says.
"We can't let Luke lose." they say all aiming at Melony
"Hey, do you really wanna lose?" Melony asked.
Meanwhile, Luke was combing his hair. He could hear the other teams chanting "Favoritism! Favoritism! Favoritism makes us sick!" and "Walkout! Walkout! Walkout!" as they just found out Gemma paid someone to guarantee Luke's victory when it was clear he didn't even want it.
Ollie sighed. "Looks like the show rests in Skara's hands." He says.
"She's screwed." Luke says. "Those guys know my fighting style. They're massive fans."
Oliver and his siblings were taking down the entire defense force single-handedly and Oliver threatens the leader as he ties him up tight enough to prevent escape.
"Yo, Randy, wanna finish these fools?" Oliver says.
"No, Melony needs to get back. Skara, take her back. I'm going after Cool Josh and all of our rivals who don't want Melony to win." Alem tuber says before punt kicking one of them anyway and speeds off.
The Foxes shut down the defense force and have a lot of the members carted off to a remote prison island, where they will never see the light of day, or social media, ever again.
Melony was heading back when she saw, or in her case, felt, the Trillion Triplets.
She smirked. "I guess the fun isn't over. If only I wasn't busy tonight " She says and goes underground and leaped up with a massive watermelon and crushed the limo. They came out.
"So planning to pay the judges for a Luke win?" She asked.
"You blind brat!" they say as Melony puts them in a watermelon and rolls them away.
"Coming up for their 2nd round performance… Luke Huntington, Shane Loud, Sal, and Ollie Chen!" Alvin says as fans screamed.
Ollie smiled. "All right, boys, just like we practiced, all right?" He says.
"Got it!" Luke, Shane, and Sal say.
The four of them came on stage as the crowd cheered. They then went into their Super Sea Star Savior performance, with Ollie playing the role of Patrick.
Fans cheered and screamed.
At the end of the performance, Luke smirks at Shane.
"Kiss his ass! Kiss his ass!" fans chanted, well, the adult ones, anyway. The Adventure Kids cover their eyes.
"Shane is the butt of so many jokes now." Kali says.
Shane looks embarrassed again, but does as the fans asked, kissing Luke's butt again as the crowd goes wild. Fans cheered as the four of them walked off stage.
Alem tuber was rushing and saw Cool Josh and his supporters.
"Well, sometimes, Luke needs to lose." Alem tuber says.
"Oh, you wanna go?" Cool Josh says. "Let's go! Melony is losing!"
Alem tuber turned Super Saiyan and rushed, punching him as people booed him. Alem tuber sighed as Cool Josh shot icicles.
"Don't worry, if you love Luke so much, you should know Skara and I are entering next season." Alem tuber says.
"Like Skara could win. She's fake and talentless." He says as Alem tuber punched him in fury and unleashed a garlic gun, blasting him.
"Stay down and never kiss my girl again!" Alem tuber huffed.
"We'll fight and I'll beat you next time." Cool Josh says.
Meanwhile…
"Any other rivals?" Bill asked.
"Nah, I think we're good. The show should be fair game now." Alem tuber says.
Meanwhile
"Coming up next…" Simon says.
"Cuppy and Mugsy!" The crowd screamed and cheered.
"That's right! The Hot Slice Experience!" Simon says as they come on stage.
Girls screamed for the cups and guys screamed for Mona. They then put on their Move Your Feet roller-skating performance, their favorite season 8 performance.
The fans cheered as the group met in the middle and struck their poses at the end of their performance. Sal watched this, fascinated by their work.
Jerbo gets ready with Willow, Gus, and Viney.
"Coming up next, a team that you all love and adore…Jerbo Jones, Viney Maki, Gus Porter, and Willow Park!" Theodore says.
The crowd cheers as they come on stage and do the Juicy Wiggle routine as the crowd goes wild for them.
"Go, Jerbo! Go, Jerbo!" The crowd cheered as Jerbo danced with his friends.
Fans cheered when they finished. Girls screamed for Jerbo.
The Foxes were dressed in their red, white, and blue performance outfits. They smiled at one another.
"Let's do this!" The Foxes say. Fans cheered.
"Coming up next, they have been everywhere, entertaining the masses, and haven't stopped since! It gives me great pleasure to introduce you to the Fox Quintuplets!" Simon says.
The crowd cheers as the quints come out and perform Living In America, a performance they loved in season 8.
They finish by spawning magic fireworks that say God Bless America in alternating red, white, and blue letters.
Fans cheered for them as they soon left the stage.
Garrett, Remy, Stephen, and Melony soon got ready to go on.
"Ladies and gentlemen, performing a song near and dear to my heart and showcasing their favorite Season 8 performance…Garrett Miller, Stephen Meyers, Remy Estevez, and Melony!" Dave says.
The crowd cheered as they leap in and begin their performance of Live Like You Were Dying with Remy and Garrett singing lead.
Dave was shedding tears the whole time, thinking of his dad as he listened to them sing.
They soon finished as Melony ran backstage.
The song was sensitive for her. She didn't want the others to feel guilty. But Garrett felt frustrated as she hated everything he picked. He deserted his group as the second break began.
"Both are gone…" Remy says. "Which means I'm done. No team means no victory."
"Honey, they're going to go take a break right now, and that's what you'll do right now, too." Victoria says as she takes Remy to have a break.
Garrett was infuriated and couldn't take it from Melony when she just hates everything he chooses.
"Garrett…" Leni says.
"What, Leni?" Garrett sniffed.
"Are you okay?" She asked.
"She is trying too hard and dictating what we should perform. She hated doing our country night performance, even though it was our group's favorite performance! And now she hated our Make It A Musical performance, too!" Garrett screamed.
"She's autistic. She probably has mood swings. Luke gets emotional at random times. I don't think she hates any of it. She may have been overwhelmed." Leni says.
Meanwhile, with Melony…
"I have no family and the final round is coming " Melony says " That song may have been about my death. I mean if I fail, Remy will kill me for real." Melony says to herself.
"That song also means a lot to Dave, you know." Stephen says.
"How?" She asked.
"He lost his dad to cancer and it was his dad's favorite song. He and his dad loved Tim McGraw. And Dave still loves Tim McGraw's music and listens to it as a way to cope with his dad's passing. We decided to perform it as it was our favorite season 8 performance. Not because we were trying to sing about you!" Stephen says.
Melony looks down. "The triplets were right. The only way Remy will win is if I leave the team and destroy my dreams." Melony says.
"I'm not saying you should leave the team. I'm saying you should stop dictating what we can and can't perform." Stephen says. "That's why Garrett got upset."
"I won't do it again." Melony says and goes off to be alone.
The votes were in as Jerbo is still in 1st, Luke in second.
Garrett sighed as he sat with Leni.
"We're toast…" Garrett says
"Ain't it obvious? Luke's not in first because of Sal. Someone convinced the world that the cosmic buddies shouldn't be in the show. Which is why fans play favorites." Luna says.
"Walkout! Walkout! Walkout!" The teams chanted as they marched out of the Mirage theater.
"How do we save the show?" Alvin asked.
"We need to make people *gulp* like the cosmic buddies." Mike says.
"The reason for the favoritism started when Luke and Randy were having a rivalry. When they crossed paths for the first time, they nearly killed each other. Randy won and the fans loved him. This started the favorites." Leni sighed.
Meanwhile, Alem tuber was walking as a garbage can fell on him as Cool Josh's fans were tossing food at him.
Alem tuber rushed off and saw Sal being pelted with tomatoes and rushed in a blind rage as Angry Luigi hammered Alem tuber before he could do what he was planning.
Alem tuber and Angry Luigi began to struggle. "They're after us and these fans won't give our sister a chance. She hasn't been on stage and fans are backlashing on her for being our sister and possibly a witch. These guys don't like anyone that's related to the cosmic buddies. When will you open your eyes?!" Alem tuber says, punching Angry Luigi into some of the fans.
"No more cosmic buddies!" A fan says.
Angry Luigi sees the protesting teams marching in front of the Mirage.
"It's an anti-cosmic buddy vs. an ANH team walkout! This is crazy!" Kali says.
"Because this chapter needed a war." Delta says.
"Guys, stop!" Savannah says as the two sides began to toss food and stuff at each other.
Gem laughed, watching this.
"Gem?!" Sabrina asked as Salem sighed.
"Okay, Anti-Cosmic buddies, let's begin our protest!" she says.
"Who freed her?" Emila asked.
"I don't know, but I'll carve a nice casket." Delta says.
Melony was covered in tomatoes as Savannah tried to get in the middle.
"Walkout, walkout!" Jerbo says. "ANH is full of favoritism!"
"Favoritism this!" Cool Josh says as he kicks Alem tuber and freezes him.
"Bro!" Angry Luigi says, then remembers the lessons of his past. If they stick together, they are unstoppable and sometimes you gotta use your mind and not violence. Something Charity would say due to not wanting her city ruined.
"Guys, we don't need all of this. Can we sign an agreement? I mean, it's just a show." Angry Luigi says.
"Favoritism! Favoritism!" The protesting teams shouted.
"No more cosmic buddies!" The crowd across from them shouted.
"Leave my siblings alone!" Skara says as she got hit with a tomato. She growled and used her lyre as her symphokinesis lifted the groups up with Raine's help. "ENOUGH IS ENOUGH! Look at all of you! You should be ashamed!"
Alem tuber broke out of the ice. "No one insults my sister!" Alem tuber says walking up.
"You're going to make it worse!" Emma says "Violence won't do it!"
"Rules are meant to be broken!" Skara snapped.
"Great, now we got two Randys." Emma thought.
"I'm not ashamed." Cool Josh says. Skara choked him with a lyre string.
"Whoa! Yeah, that…" Alem tuber says.
"Look, if you guys don't end the favoritism, then this city's favorite color will be red!" Delta says.
"Okay, okay, no more favoritism on ANH!" Gem says.
"And you people will Finally see us as heroes?' Alem tuber asked.
"Okay, okay, the buddies will be seen as heroes…" Gem says.
"And a paycheck?" Jack asked.
"And a paycheck…" Gem says as Emila dropped her.
"Go!" Zee says as Gem and the villains run away.
"Garrett, I'm so sorry I hurt your feelings. I promise I won't hate your next song." Melony says. Garrett sniffed.
"Quit dictating everything we decide to do." Garrett says.
"I'll stop doing that." Melony says. "Stephen was mad about that, too."
"So I guess we owe you guys a thanks." Savannah says. "For protesting for us to be treated like equals."
"Do you think the show is back?" Luke asked.
"For now, yes." Alem tuber says. "But make no mistake, Luke, we are not goody goody two shoes."
Angry Luigi sighed.
"Some brother of yours. I guess we both just have awful siblings." Luke sighed.
"Who takes over birthdays." Angry Luigi says, looking down.
The show soon started again. The final round finally came upon them.
"Okay, I won't dictate. Whatever that means." Melony says.
"We'll go first. You guys need to get ready." Mona tells Luke as Sal and Melony's costumes were ruined.
Cynthia goes to make new costumes.
Alvin appears on stage.
"Hello, guys, this is it! Like my summer vacation, all things must come to an end. Starting off the final round of this Season 8 finals show is a band who almost always needs no introduction, but they get one, anyway…" Alvin says. "The Hot Slice Experience!"
"Cuppy, Mona, and Mugsy!" The fans chanted and cheered. Cuphead and Mugman start playing their guitars as the band performs Nothin' But A Good Time by Poison.
Fans cheered and screamed for the cups and Mona.
"Who wants to hear Cuphead's new song?!" Mugman screamed to the crowd.
Fans cheered. "Cuppy! Cuppy! Cuppy!" They chanted.
He began to sing I'm Yours by Jason Mraz. His version put the original version to shame.
Fans cheered as they were in 1st.
Cuphead rolled his head as he took off his shirt. Fans cheered wildly.
Soon, they go offstage as fans screamed.
"Coming up next, they do a lot of charity work, they plan parties, they are Sal, Shane Loud, Ollie Chen, and Luke Huntington!" Simon says as fans cheered.
The four of them appeared in customized Ghostbusters flight suits and were customized head to toe with the equipment.
Fans cheered as they began their performance of Ghostbusters by Ray Parker Jr.
Girls screamed as it seemed Ollie was about to steal the show. Ruben and Esther were clicking away on their cameras.
"That's the way, Ollie!" Esther says. "Show them what a star you are!"
"Go, Luke!" Luna and Leni say.
"Go, Shane!" Shelby says.
Soon, they finished with a Shane solo. The group then shouted "Who you gonna call?!"
"GHOSTBUSTERS!" The crowd screamed. Luke's team was in 1st place now.
Oliver gets ready
"Coming up next, the team of the Foxes!" Theodore says.
They came out in brightly colored jumpsuits, beginning their performance of Hey Ya! by Outkast.
Girls screamed for them.
Meanwhile
"So when can I kill that cool Josh?" Skara asked
"Skara, no killing." Skylia says.
"No, she's right. He has to go down. This is war!" Alem tuber says.
Meanwhile, the Foxes shot magic fireworks as fans cheered.
Jerbo and his team agreed to go on since Remy wasn't ready yet.
"Coming up next, the team from the Boiling Isles, the team who has been making us all smile…Jerbo Jones, Viney Maki, Gus Porter, and Willow Park!" Simon says.
Fans cheered as they appeared via illusion magic, courtesy of Gus.
Fans screamed as they began their performance of High School Musical from the third High School Musical movie.
Fans cheered as they danced. Savannah smiles at Jerbo and Viney.
They soon finished as Gus made an illusion of all four of them as Troy, Gabriella, Chad, and Taylor.
The crowd cheered.
Meanwhile, Remy took deep breaths. He felt very nervous.
"Do some self-reaffirmations, honey." Victoria tells him. He nods and does so.
"We can do this!" Melony says.
Zee kisses Luke's cheek as he blushes a bit.
"The time has come. It's time for the final performance of this finals show!" Dave says.
"Our final team to take the stage is one who will take all they have to win this. Let's hear it for Garrett Miller, Stephen Meyers, Remy Estevez, and Melony!"
Fans cheer as they come out from a limo for their entrance. They then perform This Is Me from The Greatest Showman.
The crowd was loving this performance, especially Remy's tumbles and Stephen's cartwheels.
Soon, Garrett had his solo, then he walked on his hands across the stage.
"That's my boy!" Forest says. "Go, Garrett!"
He soon finished it as Stephen got his solo.
"Way to go, Stephen!" Colin and Caroline say. "We love you, cupcake!"
Then Remy got his solo.
"You're phenomenal, my little Remington! My brave warrior!" Victoria says as Remy smiles.
"I guess everyone is getting a solo." Liam says, impressed at all 3 solos.
The group soon finished as Melony carried Remy on her shoulders. She shot seeds causing exploding fireworks before shooting some watermelon for people who couldn't afford much food.
Backstage, you could literally cut the tension with a sword. Everyone had done very well in the final round.
"Whatever happens, you all did fantastic out there." Gilbert says to the five groups.
"You should all be proud to have made it this far. If you lose this time, hold your heads up high and know that your parents, siblings, and friends are all extremely proud of you." Charity says. "Me included."
"You are all very talented. And I'm not just saying that." Harvey Park says. "You really are."
"You deserve to celebrate, no matter where you place." Ruben says. "I know you all worked very hard."
"So, I still get a party? Awesome!" Luke says.
"On my terms, sweetie." Charity says.
Luke smiled. "Okay, Mom." He says.
Soon, all the teams stood on stage as the tension got thicker. Everyone felt nervous.
"Okay after 2 hours of deciding… we've finally decided." Simon says.
"Remember, no matter where you place, you all did very well." Dave says.
"And without further ado, 5th place goes to…the Foxes!" Dave says.
"Daddy's proud of his angels!" Gabriel shouted as the Fox quints smiled at him.
"4th place goes to…The Hot Slice Experience!" Simon says. Girls still screamed for the cups. No matter where they ended up placing, they still got fanservice.
"3rd place goes to…Jerbo, Viney, Gus, and Willow!" Dave says.
Willow felt a bit let down, but smiled with the group. Her dads noticed.
"2nd place goes to Luke, Ollie, Shane, and Sal…which means first place and the Season 8 grand prize goes to Garrett, Remy, Stephen, and Melony!" Alvin says.
Remy gasped. He couldn't believe it.
Willow sniffed as her dads found her.
"Honey, you did wonderful. Don't beat yourself up." Harvey Park says.
"It's like I'm Half-A-Witch Willow all over again!" Willow cried.
"Oh, sweetheart…" Gilbert says, holding her.
"Hey, you did great." Hunter says.
"Just stop being proud of me right now!" Willow sobbed, repressing those Half-A-Witch Willow memories. Gilbert picked her up and carried her like a baby back to their hotel room.
Melony was in shock. She couldn't believe that they won.
"We actually won. Even when I was blind, the team with the biggest disability and disadvantage. I love you guys thanks for everything you guys ar-" Melony says before realizing Garrett, Remy, and Stephen left after the awards ceremony.
"Well, Luke, good luck." Skara says. "I hope ANH doesn't ruin our friendship."
"I know it won't." Luke says, fist-bumping Skara.
The boys were long gone.
Leni finds them. "You guys did great."
"Melony took all the credit. I thought we all won!" Remy hissed.
"No, she didn't. She told me to give you this." Leni says.
It said: "Look, I know we didn't get off on the right foot, but I'm glad I did this. I'm glad Remy will finally get a win and I'm happy you all will be happy with your families and I wanna thank you for putting up with me. I mean being the first blind girl, I may have just made history. And let's face it, we had the lowest odds of all time heading into this and had low odds due to my conditions, but you guys were there for me. Thanks and…goodbye. Love, Melony." Leni reads.
"So, I guess this is it. Finally time for the cosmic buddies to finally divide themselves from Luke. It was nice knowing you, but we can't stay in the same path farewell.' Angry Luigi says
"Yeah, who would have thought Remy would do it." Bill says.
"Well, it's over. Finally over." Alem tuber says
"Time to go back to our solo adventures, hopefully A9G will do it." Delta says.
The Adventure Kids walk off.
Luke was being praised. Remy looked away.
"Quit being proud of me!" Remy screamed.
"What's wrong?" Haiku asked.
"Melony took the credit." Remy says.
"No one will believe a blind girl. Besides, you won. They'll believe you more than her because she didn't have a solo." Haiku says.
Remy stormed away, overwhelmed.
Stephen slammed the door to his room. He was sick of being praised as well.
"Remy and Stephen were supposed to be happy." Haiku says.
"They're both overwhelmed right now. Give them time." Victoria says.
Post credit scene
Delta came, wearing a robe.
"What are you doing? Go read a book or something. Oh, you're expecting a teaser for the 100th chapter or Luke's birthday week. Well, we don't need to spoil stuff. Just read Angry Luigi's wish. it's canon to this universe. Just go and clean your room. Go outside and touch grass. Do something productive." Delta says.
