The second morning, I am in my office waiting. I don't know why Mike wants to see me ? What is his intention to see me . I clinch my fist. I want to kill this man who killed so many divergent and pretend that he is a good man. It is already 8:45. Around 15 minute, he will be here

Finally I hear door knock, Mike is there . I opened the door

"Welcome mike ." I smile at him. "Come and sit down please."

"Thanks Delia ." He says . "Very nice of you."

"Water or coffee ?" I ask

He shakes his head . I sit down in front of my table .

"So I want to ask you something since you are the Instructor now." He bites his lips . "Do you know that Jason and Amar's result are inconclusive?"

"I don't know but it happened before and it is not that strange ." I say.

"However I invented the system and technology so I have to make sure that my technology are perfect." Mike raises his eyebrows

I don't know how to answer it. I want to find out what he is going to do.

"So it is still technology . It is not human." I tap my fingers on the table . "I am dauntless and I don't care about technologies."

"I care Delia . I want you to work with me." He stands up. "When it is second session, you have to watch closer with these two . If they are divergent, you have to tell me . Divergent are extremely dangerous of our system."

I don't know should I say yes or not but now the best option is to say yes .

"Okay I understand . I will " I nod at him. "Is that all you come for today?"

"Yes that's all Delia . I trust you but if you break my trust, you know the consequences." He leans into me

"Mike , I know that you know whose daughter I am . You are not allowed to kill me ."I laugh.

He stares at me . He leaves after a minute . I leave my office and lock the room. I walk to the training room. They are still practice it.

"Didn't start ?" I ask

"They are not ready yet." Peter rolls his eyes . "Way not enough."

"We don't have time " I say coldly. "The first jumper in the ring. The last jumper , it is time to fight."

Jason and Alexander stops there . Jason walks to the stage and I grab his arm.

"Remember what I said about your knuckles." I look at him

" i remember." He nods at me

I let him go and he walks on the stage to face Alexander . Alexander is super strong. Alexander smirks at Jason.

"Good relationship with Delia but I will make sure that you lose." Alexander laughs

"I doubt that" Jason says

They start shuffling with each other . None of them move

"Don't play with each other." I shout. "Fight."

Jason punches him in his gut. Alexander grabs his hair but Jason pushes him away quickly. He kicks him and Alexander groans

"He is good." Peter gives a thumb up.

"He learns very quickly." Alexander and Alex walk toward us . "How is the meeting."

"It's good." I shrug. "Nothing important."

Alex narrows his eyes at me . He knows that I am lying. Elizabeth and Evelyn come back from work. Jessica and Maria are playing with William and Jeremy.

"Hey, just be quiet." I say. "We are watching the fight."

"Okay , I am sorry." Elizabeth laughs . "Let's go out."

They run up the pit. Elizabeth is still so happy . I look at Alexander . His eyes follow her greedily.

"Stop looking at her." I push him away. "I have warned you."

Jason wins in the end . Alexander was drag away by Alex and Peter to the nursing station.

"You put them together on purpose." I look at Alexander . "You underestimate Jason."

"I was helping him."Alexander folds his arm. "Next group."

I call next fight. Jason and Linda . Linda is tall and Jason is shorter . However Jason has more muscle . Jason punches Linda hard but Linda doesn't fall. She kicks him too. Jason falls but scrambles to his feet quickly.

"It is going to take longer than I anticipated ." Alexander yawns . "So boring."

"When the fight ends." Jason asks.

"It ends when one of you can not continue or concede." I say

Alexander shakes his head . Is he going to change the rule

"The old rule. The new rule , no one concede." He smirks

"You want to lose someone the first day?" I ask . "A brave man acknowledge other."

"The brave man never surrender." He looks at me . "Remember who has more authority here "

I walk away angrily. I walk toward my own room but someone is following me

"Jason walker why are you here ." I ask

"I am worried for you Delia." He says in a low voice .
