After Cole left and Jay watched his new bird ate the last bit of food, he went back to the fridge to make sure that he has enough meat.
Once he opened it, the guy in blue saw that the answer to his questioned was a no. Great, he has to go get more. Taking a look back the bird who was now climbing around in the cage, he decided to go out.
However, before he did, he said to the avian creature "Alright, I 'm going to go to the store. Stay here?"
Said bird was on the wall of the cage staring back at him appear like he was replying with a 'I can't leave you know?' expression.
"Right. Wow, I should work on getting you some toys to play with. See ya."
As the blue clad guy left, Fire kept up his search to get out. Not that he wanted to run away without the Elemental Crystal that is somehow attached itself to Jay, he just wanted to use the toilet without treating the cage as such. He didn't he had the ability needing to go too.
The only good thing about this is that Jay left, leaving him time to work getting out.
Meanwhile, Jay went to the street and down a block before he spotted a dark fur monkey on the road grabbing some scattered fruit on the ground.
"Huh, who knew this place had monkeys?" He said before hearing something going off in the background. He peered down the road to see a car swerving to the sides and appear to be heading right for the simian.
"Oh no! That Monkey's about to be flatten!"
He looked over to the car again before, without thinking nor knowing what drove to such a stunt, he rushed towards the monkey, grabbing it, and dashing until he tripped rolling over a metal pole, landing on his back.
Jay panted a bit before he sat up. Surveying the results, it seemed he made over to the other side of the road, with the car heading off to some somewhere, sparks of blue lightening jumps through the area.
"Okay that was strange,"
Just then, he felt the monkey breaking the hug like grip he had on it. Now up close and better light he saw the monkey appearing to be made of plants and flowers with a big bushy beard.
All of the sudden the guy in blue noticed, the monkey having a bright pink flower shaped gem strapped around its waist. It kind of reminded him of his new accessory.
"Wow, ha ha you're not what I was expecting." Jay uttered,
It was at this moment that the simian ran off to some place. The guy in blue scratched his head, baffled a bit before returning to what he was doing.
Back to over to Fire, he was feeling the need to go. He found the door to the cage, but figure how to get it opened with his form the way it is.
He soon let out a groan after jiggling the door for the hundredth time. Feeling the waisted wanting to come out, the phoenix basically said heck with this popsicle stands. Gotten up on a preach and let it out making him feel relief to get that out.
Over to Jay, he reached the supermarket.
There, he bought a bit more boloney, along with some bit of ground beef. He wasn't sure if his new bird friend could eat the beef, but figure that the rooster would get bored on eating only boloney. With the items in hand, he headed back. Hopefully, he can get back to work on his project.
As he made a turn, he caught the sight of Lloyd at a crosswalk with bags in his hands, appearing waiting to cross.
"Hey Lloyd." He called out heading towards the green themed teen.
"Hey Jay, what's up?"
"I was just getting done grocery shopping. What are doing?"
"Me? I was just getting some groceries too. Ha ha, mom's gotten this ancient recipe that she wanted to recreate."
"Wow, must have found crazy recipes?"
"Nah, it only once in a while dose that."
Just then, a dinging sound popped up.
The two makes look to the other side of the road to see the crosswalk light was now flashing the symbol for to walk.
"Must have lost track of time," Lloyd said. "see'ya Jay."
After the teenager head off, Jay head back to his dorm
When he was about head into the dorms, he found rabbit brush passed him, only he could have sworn the bunny had antlers like a dear.
Figuring it must have been in his head, he resumed going back to his room.
