Ch. 64: Hadena muryō no subete part 3
The scene shifts at UA Academy, where the next scene shows that someone is lurking over a rooftop of a building as the person observed his surroundings, noting that almost every hero course students are absent, mainly due to being part of a delegation where they went along with their respective work studies mentors in doing a world mission, whilst the general, support and business course students are inside their classrooms attending lectures, hence only support robots are patrolling the areas within UA Academy, and so far the robots did not detect anything suspicious or any unusual activities within the campus.
"Northside clear. Nothing irregular happening here…"
"Eastside clear. No suspicious activities taking place."
"Westside clear. No illegal activities going on."
"Southside clear. No intruders or wayward students lurking around."
"Lets continue monitoring the areas within UA Academy. We must ensure that this educational institution is well-protected."
"Okay."
"Okay."
"Okay."
As the support robots continue their patrolling, they failed to notice the intruder hiding on one of the rooftops, and there the intruder is revealed to be Speed-o'Sound Sonic, as he came to UA Academy for a specific reason, which is to find Izuku Midoriya, as he finds himself intrigued after his last encounter with the younger boy.
Due to the fact that Sonic is unaware of the One For All Quirk that resides within Midoriya, the ninja assassin-for-hire wrongly assume that Midoriya possessed the speed that other ninjas do because Midoriya used Full Cowling to increase his movements and Sonic wondered if Midoriya is secretly a ninja or not, and up until now he wondered why his previous client hired him to assassinate Midoriya without giving him a specific reason.
"Izuku Midoriya. Once I find you I'll get to pry some information out of you."
As Sonic stealthily heads near the exit of Heights Alliance, something caught his attention as he saw Midoriya, Ashido and Aoyama approaching the school gate and left UA Academy as they are heading back towards Heights Alliance, which Sonic stealthily followed and began to listen to the three teens' conversation, where he heard that Midoriya, Aoyama and Ashido were told that by tomorrow they are going to report at Best Jeanist's Hero Agency Office where they would start their work studies.
"Best Jeanist. The number three pro hero, huh…"
As Sonic listens on, he could see and hear Ashido looking visibly excited as she said that she gets to intern under the current number three pro hero, which Aoyama agreed as this would also be his first time working with Jeanist.
"Yatta! We're having a work study!"
"Indeed! We won't be staying cooped up at the dorms!"
"And on top of that, we get to intern under the current number three pro hero!"
"Yes. And Best Jeanist is going to make us look flashier and ever!"
"I'm so excited!"
"Me too!"
"Maybe getting left behind was a blessing in disguise!"
"Could be…"
Midoriya is also looking forward to work with Jeanist and wondered what kind of work studying would he get as he mentally made comparisons between Endeavor and Gran Torino, wherein both helped him improve the usage of his Quirk while learning new techniques which helped him make an effective combatant that would help in dealing with dangerous villains like Stain and Starservant.
By then Ashido tells Midoriya and Aoyama that their upcoming work studies with Jeanist would be different from the ones they got from Yoroi Musha, which Aoyama agreed though she asked Midoriya if he has ever worked with Jeanist despite not interning under him before, which Midoriya admitted that he has never met Jeanist before and this would be his first time working with the number three pro hero.
"For real? This would be your first time working with him?"
"Yeah."
"Really?"
"Really."
"Okay! Now I feel at ease! So it's our first time working with the number three pro hero!"
"Yeah…you're right…"
"Uh…"
"What's wrong, Ashido?"
Ashido and Aoyama glanced at each other before glancing at Midoriya, where the two classmates admitted that they felt a bit nervous as they never met Jeanist personally and there Midoriya told them that they are in the same boat as him but assured to them that they are sure that they could learn something from the current number three pro hero, which Aoyama and Ashido agreed.
"Its okay. I'm sure that everything would be okay."
"I see…"
"I guess…"
"If Ka-chan got through, so can we."
"!"
"!"
"So let's look forward to our upcoming work study!"
"Yeah!"
"Yeah!"
Aoyama and Ashido smiled seeing that Midoriya is right and this further raised their morale which made them look forward to their upcoming work studies with Best Jeanist, and as the three Class 1-A members are walking and are on their way to Heights Alliance, they seemingly failed to notice that they are being observed, yet the observers are fixated towards Midoriya and they seemingly felt that the boy is either a waste of time or a threat to their operations.
The observers are seen hiding on a top branch of a thick tree, the leaves and bushes somewhat hide their presence from prying eyes and there they are revealed to be members of the Heavenly Ninja Party, and the observing members are revealed to be:
- Disorderly Chaos
- Murderous Slaughter
- Vibrating Tremor
- Illusory Phantom
Chaos and Slaughter were not impressed at seeing Midoriya in the flesh and couldn't believe how WIMPY he looked and suggested that they kill him at once, but Tremor and Phantom reiterated that they should approach him first and give him an offer, and said that in the event that he rejects the offer then they can kill him, which Chaos and Slaughter reluctantly accepted seeing that Tremor and Phantom were insistent in attempting to recruit Midoriya.
"Look…let's try things first. We might persuade that boy."
"I'm sure we could corrupt him by giving him power."
"Fine…only if he accepts."
"But if he outright reject us…we kill him on the spot."
"Okay."
"Fine."
"Good. Then we're in agreement."
"Yeah."
As Chaos, Slaughter and Tremor are about to make their move, Phantom told his fellow ninjas to wait as he suggested that they follow the teens stealthily and see what kind of dormitory they have, reasoning that if they manage to confirm that there are no other students around, and if the security is weak, then they can sneak inside Heights Alliance and confront Midoriya and make him a TEMPTING offer.
And in the event that Midoriya outright reject it, then they would proceed to slay the younger boy, which Chaos, Slaughter and Tremor nodded in agreement seeing that Phantom's approach is more feasible than confronting him head-on.
"So are we in agreement? We follow them first and see if their Dormitory is less secured. And we bide our time."
"Fine."
"Fine."
"Fine."
"And as agreed…we give that boy an offer. If he accepts we're good. If he rejects and threatened to expose us, then we kill him."
"Fine."
"Fine."
"Fine."
As the Heavenly Ninja Party members move out, Sonic came out from his hiding place and saw what just occurred, and he wondered if the Heavenly Ninja Party members are serious about recruiting Midoriya, and wondered what would the younger boy do should he outright reject the offer.
"Those idiots…are they really serious…?"
Back at UA Academy, the security robots continue their patrolling and noted that nothing suspicious is going on, unaware of the fact that Sonic was here a while ago and there they continue their monitoring as if it is business as usual.

The scene shifts at Heights Alliance where the three Class 1-A members arrived and there Ashido is waltzing around as she is excited at the fact that she gets to intern under Best Jeanist and Aoyama is also looking forward to it and there they told Midoriya to get excited as well as he also gets to do a work study after being left behind by Endeavor, which Midoriya just laughed nervously.
"Come on, Midoriya! Get a little excited!"
"We'll be working with the number three pro hero!"
"Yeah…I would…"
"At least we get to do something hero-like!"
"And I would do something FLASHY as well!"
"Guys…lets calm down…"
"We're going ahead!"
"See you later, Midoriya!"
"Okay…"
As Ashido and Aoyama went inside the Class 1-A dorms, Midoriya was left alone, and as he is wondering what kind of work studies he would receive, Hado arrived and grabbed him before she had him waltz with her in a ballroom dance-style gesture, and while surprised, for the first time Midoriya felt something towards Hado as if he started to get drawn toward her.
There she smiled as she reminded him that she too is interning under Jeanist and that she looks forward to the upcoming work studies as she gets to intern under a pro hero other than Ryukyu, thus she would get to experience something different and it would help broaden her learning skills.
"Ne-ne…you heard your classmates…you should feel excited since you'll be interning under the number three pro hero…"
"Y-yeah…"
"And that means we'll be sticking together since I'm also interning under Best Jeanist."
"Oh…right…"
"So relax and look forward to it."
"You're right…"
"Hee-hee…"
"…"
As Hado has a habit of hugging people in an affectionate way, she ends up hugging Midoriya and though the younger boy blushed, he finds himself getting drawn towards her, and she smiled as she too finds herself intrigued about the younger boy, and little by little, without realizing, they subconsciously shared a kiss on the lips, which was innocent yet romantic, and they did this for almost a minute before stopping, causing the two teens to blush though Hado just smiled in a cute way while Midoriya was flustered.
There she smiled and asked if he wants to go on a date with her, which Midoriya was taken aback yet he wondered if this also means if she's asking him if he wants to go out with her, and innocently asked if she wanted to be his girlfriend.
"Um…Hado-senpai…"
"Yes…?"
"Can I ask…?"
"You already have…"
"Uh…would you like…to…be my girlfriend…?"
"Is that a proposal…?"
"Uh…"
"Well…"
Before an answer could be given, the four members of the Heavenly Ninja Party appeared, and while their approach was a peaceful one, which Hado glanced in an innocent way, Midoriya glanced at them as he noticed the Heavenly Ninja Party members' attire, the sight of their attire made him recall something as he started to remember encountering a ninja a few months ago
There Illusory Phantom approached Midoriya and tells him that he would like to have a word with him, and said that they are a NEWLY-FORMED pro heroes who just started, and said that he and his comrades would like to speak with Midoriya, surprising the younger boy upon hearing this, unaware that it was actually a ruse from the Heavenly Ninja Party members.
"You…wish to…speak to me…?"
"Yes."
"And you're all pro heroes…?"
"Indeed."
"Then…"
"We have something we would like to offer you…as a fellow pro hero…"
"But…I'm still a student…and I'm not yet legally a…"
"That can be arranged…"
However, Disorderly Chaos, Murderous Slaughter and Vibrating Tremor told Hado that this is STRICTLY between them and Midoriya, hence she should go, surprising and baffling the Big Three member as she didn't expect that she'd be turned away just like that.
"Lady. Please leave."
"This is strictly business between him and us."
"And you're not involved."
"What was that…?"
"Leave now."
"This doesn't concern you."
"And you're not important."
"Ne-ne…hold on…"

Hope you liked this chapter, as things got a tense, FLASHY moment as Midoriya, Ashido, Aoyama and Hado are set to do some Work Studies in Japan. And on top of that, they'll be interning under Best Jeanist, who, for some reason didn't get to be amongst the delegates, will be doing the work studies.
Moreover, for the first time romance elements come into play as Hado SHARED A ROMANTIC KISS with Midoriya and the latter is wondering whether to ask her out or not…
However, members of the Heavenly Ninja Party finally confronted Midoriya and pretended to be pro heroes just to get him to lower his guard as they are plotting to recruit him, but would also assassinate him if he turns down their offer.
While Speed-o'Sound Sonic is the only one to appear here, he would appear again in the next chapter, so would Flashy Flash…

The next chapter commences the conflict as the Heavenly Ninja Party members are awaiting Midoriya' reply on whether to accept their offer or not…
