Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Corrupted Divinity. Enjoy the 2000-Word chapter. I do not own Hazbin Hotel, Viziepop, and a few others do.

Lute set foot on the cold snow, tired and annoyed. She looked all around, questioning what was out in the icy snow, there was plenty left to deal with and something that could not have been done.

It bothered her, bothered her majorly, for now, an idea which she did not at all show for now.

She was exhausted, beaten down… And the last thing she wanted to do as co-leader of the Exorcists was to be doing grunt work.

She sighed as she realized there was nothing to deal with for now. All she had left to deal with was this and it was vexing for the time.

She slowly started to fly towards it… There was a massive need to leave and yet?

Whatever had brought her and the others out here? It was an abomination, something angelic tainted by filthy devil filth.

She knew not what it was but she knew that she was going to kill whoever had violated the world with it.

She was silent as she thought of what was growing on her mind, a senseless case of pain and suffering. Something about it all had been annoying for now and they had all too much left to distract them for now.

They had plenty left to deal with, she was chaotic, and she wanted an end to it.

"Where is it?" Lute asked as one of the angels shrugged, pausing to think of what was growing on her mind as the angel fell silent.

She was all too much for now, all too distracted at the time being. There were a lot of different things when she thought of them.

"It's under the ice." She heard as she sighed to herself, exhausted now with it all.

Lute sighed and spread her wings before she flew downwards towards the iceberg. Whatever was out here? She was too distracted for now… It was all too much for now.

They had a lot more to deal with for now… Distractions like this were all too much for now. There were a lot of different things to understand and Lute was tired of this crap.

She slammed through the ice, her wings cracking the ice under her before she sighed to herself for the time being.

All of it was more and more annoying for now as they thought of it all for now and chaos which she had been thrown off for now.

The energy of this sort was glowing, it cut through the ice like a knife, it cut through the air and sizzled, burning as the angels were sent flying and sliding across the ground.

The figure finally emerged, making Lute and the others. She wanted nothing else but pure blood, she looked at the creature in front of her and she was too distracted for now.

They had a lot more to deal with now and then and there was a pain like this for now and pulled herself to her feet.

The being before her… Looked like an unholy abomination halfway and the other way… Like one of them.

The figure had a crimson and blue halo adorning its head, its face looked like a facsimile of their masks, crimson on one side with an undying smirk while the other was pure blue, a frown with fangs.

"What type of abomination are you…!?" Lute hissed before rushing at them, spear raised.

The creature snorted and unfurled a pair of wings, slamming her into the ground before throwing her into 2 of the others.

"Leave or I'll butcher you." They stated, the mask contorting as they revealed both pairs of wings.

Both looked like a pair of demonic bat wings with red veins crossing them… Parts of the wings looked like angel wings.

One of the exorcists rushed forwards only for the figure to duck and stabbed a clawed hand through them.

"Leave! You shall not harm the other Nephilim!" The figure hissed, tossing the dead exorcist aside. "Now, before I paint the glaciers with your ichor!" They hissed, crossing their wings in front of them, obscuring the rest of their body.

Lute growled and slammed into them as the figure grabbed the spear and slammed her into the ground.

"Maybe you can't hear me…" He said before gripping her by the helmet and tossing her away, ripping the mask from her skull in the process.

"You worthless….!" Lute hissed as the figure crossed their arms.

"You have hunted us for years, we left Earth. Why can't you leave us alone?! Too damn afraid your kind helped create us!?" They questioned.

"What the hell are you screaming!? What do you mean created us!?" Lute questioned before the figure snorted.

They raised their hands to the mask and pulled it up and off, revealing their face.

The angels gasped as the figure looked like one of their own… Halfway at least, their face looked sort of human but with demonic horns sprouting from their head, framing their spiky crimson hair.

Their eyes were different colors, one pure gold and the other red and black as if they were burned with hellfire.

"Leave the Nephilim alone… Or I will tear you apart, I am sick of losing family to you damn pompous winged abominations, I cannot believe I am half you." They said before placing their helm atop their head and flying off.

Lute grunted, grabbed her swords, and flew right after them, he stared her down and snorted.

"You SO do not want this fight." He stated, wings flapping as he snorted, brushing off her attempts to seem higher and mightier as something to scoff at.

If she could not overcome him? He doubted she could overcome any of those he had promised to protect for now as it came to something like that.

He snorted and flexed his arms, flicking a pair of blades into his hands.

"Last chance." The Nephilim hissed before Lute charged and he snorted.

He flew towards her before landing a kick which sent her flying as the 4 other Exorcists rushed him. He snorted and rushed them, blades extended.

By the time Lute recovered? He had torn into 2 of them with the bloodlust of a shark, stabbing them through the hearts and then flicking the blades upwards, slicing them in half before turning and grabbing the other two.

"Fine, die then." He stated before drawing them into the blades and slashing their heads clean off. "I see angels still think they are better than every damn person but can't fight!" The Nephilim hissed as he snorted.

Lute screeched an unholy yell before slamming into the Nephilim, slamming them into the ice which cracked under their combined weight.

"Who sent you!? We have not done anything besides defend ourselves!" He hissed, looking to himself before tossing Lute away.

He snorted and stood up… He was taller than her, looking at her through his mask and preparing for a fight.

"If you could fight as well as you try and kill people? Maybe you would be a match for me." He stated in a dismissive tone and then sighed.

He glanced at her, pausing only to prepare for combat, he knew more and more what was to come and knew what had been done now was going to make things worse.

He knew all of this was going to be something of a fight at least… The other Angels looked at her as a leader so clearly. She had SOME level of skill now.

However? it was damn clear he would emerge from the fight now with a victory.

He sighed to himself as he clicked his swords on the ground before he shook his head as he thought of what was growing on his mind.

He slammed into her and then tossed her to the ground, parrying the slash of her sword before snorting.

"Walk away." He said before flinging his sword upwards.

Lute felt her sword go flying before he slammed into her, sending her skidding back. Then he was on her again and again, slashing and hacking away like a feral beast.

"Leave! Me! ALONE!" He roared as he slashed away before finally knocking away her other sword and kicking her along the ice.

Lute's mask shattered as he snorted before finally spreading his wings and rushing up and into the sky while she was stunned. He vanished into the sky and then was gone like a bad dream.

Lute looked at her shattered mask and sword before letting out an unholy scream as she looked around at the bodies of those who had served as soldiers.

She frowned to herself before she looked to the side, something else would deal with for now.

There were a lot of different things left to deal with and yet? She was too tired and distracted for now at the time.

Lute slammed a bloodied fist into the ground. Why did he spare her? A warning? Because she was not a threat? She needed some damn answers and now? Now she had a personal interest.

"What… Is a Nephilim?" Lute asked, gathering her undamaged sword, and flying up and into the atmosphere.

There was a lot more to understand now and she knew it, she knew at the end of the day such a thing was… Unfathomable. An angel… Corrupted like that? What vile filth had infested their ranks? Their army.

She did not know but she did know damn well that this was not yet over. Not by a damn long shot.

She was silent for now, a good idea as to how it would have been something to find out more about.

(With the Nephilim)

The creature watched Lute leave before perching atop the ice spire. He looked at the slain exorcists and then snorted, tired.

"They hunted us first… Slaughtered us. They had it coming." The Nephilim hissed to himself.

He did not buy it. He was not bloodthirsty enough, half angel or not to enjoy slaughtering them. He had not just spared the one angel as a warning to her bosses, he could not just butcher an entire group of angels for a crime committed centuries ago.

He frowned to himself but sighed before deciding to go and find out something. if they wanted to hunt him? Hunt the few remaining Nephilim? He would have to ask for help and considering there was nothing else out here?

"Time to visit the underworld… And find out some answers." He stated before he hummed and spread his wings once again, prepared for what he knew would be a long journey.

He sighed to himself before he shook his head. Each little detail he had been through was bothersome but it was part of life.

He also knew that there was more and more pain coming next but he was not going to let it bug him, not at all. No, he had something left to lose, now at the time being when it came down to as he paused to relax for now.

They had a lot more to try and think of what was growing on his mind.

He had a lot more left to distract him from it all now. There was a lot more chaos for now.

There was nothing else for him here and he was not stupid enough to get caught up in schemes for now.

Author Notes

Phew. Another chapter is done! A few things.

I decided on Nephilim to suit the devil and angel bit and do not know if Viv will be adding them to her shows.

I know how killing angels works; I was establishing how a Nephilim was beyond regular angels in power but not at the top of the food chain.

3? I know how horrid Lute is, and I wanted to show the difference between how bloodthirsty and how a ruthless fighter is. Not trying to make them Mary Sue.

The next chapter will be in 2-10 months, show off more of what a Nephilim is, show Lute hunting for them, and learn more and more about the lone Nephilim journeying to Hell to find help… And meet Charlie maybe. Until the 900–6500-word chapter, Lighting Wolf out!
