Freya stood frozen, looking at the body of Alex. She was sure something happened when she died, but she couldn't pinpoint what. All she felt was a gush of magic come off the human, nothing indicating that a spell stopped at the moment of her death, and the only proof Freya had was a broken bead in the bracelet Bonnie had given her.

She took the peculiar ring off of Alex's index finger and studied it. It reminded her of a family ring. She could use this for a locator spell in case anything happens.

"Tyler has gone to fetch his alpha," Hayley said. Coming into the house, Freya turned to give her attention, and she frowned at the idea of her letting Tyler go. Freya wanted him dead for the way she hurt Hayley while pregnant. We all have rules as supernatural beings, and he broke them.

"What are you going to do about him?" Freya asked, and Hayley gave her a dark smile.
"It's not something you guys would do, but I'm a little curious to see how it goes," Hayley answered.

Freya rolled her eyes.
"Don't get like Nik now; I hate vague statements," Freya said.

"Are you okay?" Hayley asked instead.

"Yes, I didn't use my magic at all." Freya answered, annoyed, and gave Hayley a look that caused her to roll her eyes.

"I swear you Mikealsons are all the same," Hayley said. "I want to strip Tyler of his wolf powers; if he wanted to be a wolf, he should have stayed a hybrid." She shrugged

"Plus, it helps that it's a huge part of his identity now." Hayley smiled.

"That he kept from his girlfriend," Freya said, looking at Alex's dead body. Hayley nodded

"Tyler could never trust his wolf side fully, so any warning signs he would have ignored." Hayley droned.
"What do we do with her body?" Freya asked. Should they leave it somewhere for her family to find or bury it in an unmarked grave?

"Do we want the war to come to us?" Hayley debated. Freya touched the broken bead on her bracelet. It's already here; I brought it straight to Bonnie. I hope she can forgive me.

"Where is her family?" Hayley sighed.

"I saw an old building that was in good condition and also a wicker bridge," Freya answered. Hayley immediately groaned.

"Of course it's that town; what draws all the supernatural to such a boring town?" Hayley asked herself. Freya guessed it was Mystic Falls from Hayley's response.

"I'll deal with the alpha while you deal with the spell for the boy," Hayley said when she heard a truck pull over to the house. Freya nodded.

Tyler woke up to the feel of cold earth on his bare ass. He sprung up and looked around to see where he was; all he could see was the silhouette of trees in the pitch blackness. He knew it was night because all he heard was crickets. He looked at himself and realised he was completely naked. Was this all Hayley was doing? With Mikealson on her side, he thought she would wake him up in a dungeon or slaughter his whole pack.

He was glad that he was wrong. He started to walk but bumped into an invisible wall. His heart rate sped up; he was sure Hayley was somewhere listening and watching. What is she going to do? He remembered hearing her pack live as wolves during the day and, on the full moon, turn human. They nearly went extinct was her plan for his pack. In a state like this, they would all die within the month if she planned to turn her whole pack. No, they have to be here.

Tyler relaxed a bit, though he could basically hear his heartbeat. He remembered the thrill of being a hybrid. He tried to calm his heart, but he couldn't. He suddenly felt his senses heightened, like someone was him—many someone. He looked around for signs of a person but saw nothing; it was too dark for his eyes to see suddenly. He felt overwhelmed, like light shone in his eyes, and he heard someone step out of the shadows. He looked in that direction but saw nothing. He heard more people coming around him. He couldn't see them, but she recognised their scents; they were his neighbours. Did Hayley compel them?

He felt something hit his back. He turned in that direction, and this time it was his eyes. Before he could register what was happening, he was being rained down with stones. Not giving him time to act as they stoned him, she heard chanting in the distance. He tried to look to see where it was coming from, but the voice echoed around him, and the stones gave him no chance to investigate.

Tyler felt as if his body was slowly losing its energy. He was sure his skin should be bleeding, but all he felt was the pain equal to a thousand needles piercing through his skin. He was crying, but the tears made the wounds on his face burn.

He wanted to cry out, but he knew it would be hopeless, whatever Hayley

Suddenly the stoning stopped, and he only heard the chanting all around him. He looked around him to see if he was alone.

Am I alone? Is she gone?

Tyler took a deep breath of relief; the pelting had stopped, and his wounds were healing slowly—not human-like but slower than his body was used to. He pulled himself onto the ground to sit, but a familiar pain came up through his spine. His hair on his body raised. He was turning and feeling the pain, something he hadn't experienced since he was a hybrid.

He gripped the ground, his back threw itself back, he heard the crack of his neck, and he turned over to be on his belly as tears streamed down his cheeks. It's not a full moon; why am I shifting?

When he was finishing shifting, he had a minute of consciousness. He sensed Hayley's presence in front of him, along with the Mikealson witch.

"Seven years ago, you came and tried to take my daughter because you thought her life was equivalent to your pathetic mother." Hayley began, "I wanted to kill you at first, but that's too simple. I prefer you alive for as long as possible, knowing that you failed and that she's living a longer and better life as a wolf." Hayley boasted.

With that, she flashed off with the witch, and Tyler lost consciousness. He woke up on his alpha front steps with a blanket on him; he felt exhausted, and his whole body was in pain like he had slept on a deformed mattress.

He got up and looked at his alpha, who was watering her plants. She looked at him and frowned. She went inside and threw him some clothes.

Tyler changed and settled on her steps. She sighed before she spoke.

"Your wolf is gone," she said. His wolf has always been unsettled; when she first met him, she thought it was because he lacked a pack. When he joined her pack, she thought he just needed time to adjust. He became calm with his girlfriend Alex. She was sceptical of the girl because she was just surrounded by death, but her packmate was happy. She let go of the weird vibes; she just avoided them. Now she knew Tyler just brought trouble where he went. Yes, he helped her pack a lot. His previous life as a hybrid was helpful to her pack, but now he needed to go. He was the enemy of the most powerful family.

The family was willing to help her locate her pack members, who had been missing for months. All she had to do was cooperate. Building a relationship with another female alpha would be helpful to her, even if she was a part vampire.

"I'll leave before the end of the week," Tyler said.

"Wouldn't that upset you?" Tyler shook his head.

"They'll always know where I am, plus I'm alive. I have someone to thank for that," Tyler said.

"Someone from your past?" she asked. Tyler nodded.

"You'll be missed by the pack, but I can't keep you around," she said. "It's not because they don't want you here; it's because you attacked a pregnant wolf. It's against Wolf Law, one that's older than Klaus himself. If anyone in the pack finds out, you'll die on the spot." She told

Tyler nodded, At that time of his life, he was so consumed with rage and the need for vengeance. He looked anyway to harm the immortal who killed his mother and his pack members just because they dared to have freedom. He regretted going after Hayley, but not the hurt he caused Klaus.

"The wolves have spotted a few more vampires coming into the city late last night," the hybrid John told Klaus. Klaus nodded; he suspected as much. After all, they were planning a gala in two weeks, and he was sure that something would happen the night of the gala, but he wasn't sure what.

Klaus felt the small shift in energy as Lucien came close to him, he was sure how he knew but Lucien had been body jumping once the idea formed in his mind, it explained why Klaus was unable to find him using his hybrids.

"Klaus, it has been a while," Lucien said coming up behind, klaus gave his hybrid a look of dismissal and turned to the vampire.

"If you are here about your witch's vision I have no interest," Klaus grunted

"come on now we were friends before I turned and after that disaster," Lucien said referencing when he was compelled to act like him.

"Lucien, my family is stronger than ever, and the blood is redder better on this since I've defeated all my enemies, I have no time for women pretending to be witches with their false prophecy," Klaus said "Plus you calling yourself friend isn't wise given what she said."

"That was Rebekah's part and she never cared for me," Lucien said. "you and your siblings have had your spats before maybe." Lucien stopped at the look of fury from Klaus.

"Lucien I appreciate the concern but there is nothing in the world that could kill me, I've conquered it all and if what that witch says is true I'll conquer that too," he affirmed.

Lucien was silently furious, he didn't like how Klaus was being so dismissive of him. he wanted to say something but what he couldn't fight the now it would be pointless even though he was prepared to body jump.

"as old friends, you are welcome to stay in my city, hell we can have fun too but no more talk of this false prophecy," Klaus said. Klaus stepped away and went to his bar to pour them a glass of bourbon.

"the witch you're with," Lucien asked, Klaus's body stiffened a bit.

"what about her?" he asked his eyebrows quirked up.

"the Strix have a special interest in her," Lucien said leaving it hanging.

"she's special they could want her for anything," Klaus shrugged, Bonnie had an interest in them too, she could handle them if anything happened not that it mattered.

"Is she your witch?" Lucien asked, Klaus laughed.

"oh yes, you haven't met Freya yet have you well she's Freya's best friend," Klaus said he felt a pang in his heart dismissing her importance in his life.

"Freya your long last sister? is she an upgrade from Finn?" Lucien asked, Klaus smiled behind his glass.

"Now Finn isn't that bad though he's a bore, he can get the better of us," Klaus said.

"you speak as if he's alive," Lucien noted.

"Maybe he is," Klaus said

"this sister of yours is she single," Lucien asked

" leave my sister alone," Klaus said tapping his back, "let's go find you a rebound that has dealt with a Mikealson or is one," Klaus said leading him out of the room.
