The Fairly Oddparents in: Jack and The Beanstalk

A retelling of Joseph Jacob's Fairy Tale

Narrated by: A.J

Once upon a time, in a far away city called Dimmsdale, there was a boy named Timmy Turner. He lived only with his mom, Mrs. Turner. They are very poor. Only what they have left was their cow, Milky White. It used to produce milk everyday just for the family to sell them. One day, Milky White suddenly began to run out of milk because of its old age. Mrs. Turner sighed and said to Timmy,

[Mrs. Turner]

We have no choice, but to sell the cow.

Timmy, please go to the market.

Timmy nodded his head, hold the reins of the cow and said,

[Timmy Turner]

Yes, mother.

Don't you worry.

Timmy waved goodbye to his mother and walked off to the market with Milky White. "I hope Milky White will cost a lot of money." Timmy thought. Suddenly, while Timmy was bringing Milky White to the market, he came across Dr. Rip Studwell, a fairy doctor. "I heard from your mother that you're selling the cow, right?" Dr. Rip Studwell asked. "Yes." Timmy said. "I'm selling Milky White, so I can buy some food for my mom." Soon, Dr. Rip Studwell put his hand into his pocket and pulled out a bean. "Well, you like to exchange your cow for this bean?" Dr. Rip Studwell asked. "Are you serious?" Timmy pondered. "My cow for this silly bean?"

"Well…"

[Dr. Rip Studwell]

This is a magic bean.

It's nothing like the beans you've seen.

There will be special things that have never been.

Come on, it's your golden opportunity.

"Magic bean? I love it!" Timmy said.

So Timmy traded Milky White for the magic bean and went back home. "Oh, welcome back, Timmy!" Mrs. Turner said. Timmy then happily showed his mom the magic bean. "Mother, mother, I have this magic bean!" Timmy said excitedly. "It's a magic bean and I have exchanged it for Milky White!" Mrs. Turner looked at the bean. She became very disappointed. "What? You exchange our cow for this bean?" Mrs. Turner said in distrust.

[A.J]

Timmy's mother got furious.

Swish!

There goes the magic bean.

Swoosh!

"My magic bean!" Timmy said in shock.

The night time came, and Timmy and his mother slept on their beds hungry. Suddenly, something strange happened. The wind blew over the magic bean and it began to sprout out of the yard. Soon, it began to grow huge. The magic bean grew into a giant, green Beanstalk! The Beanstalk sprouts bean pods. The sun rose up, and Timmy awoke in his bed. He noticed that his room was dark. He went outside to find out. Suddenly, Timmy saw…a Beanstalk that grew up in the sky!

[Timmy Turner]

The magic Beanstalk grew overnight so high, so high!

Taller and taller that it reached the sky!

Wow! What's on top of The Beanstalk? Up there?

I'll climb up here!

Curiosity's something that I can't bear!

Timmy climbed up The Beanstalk and came up to the clouds. He saw a castle up ahead. Timmy went to the castle and crawled under the huge door. He saw that the castle was huge.

[Timmy Turner]

A huge table,

A huge chair,

A pot and a frying pan are also huge.

A giant must be living here!

Timmy wandered around the castle seeing the huge vases, pencils and books. Suddenly, BUMP THUMP! The castle began to shake. "Uh-oh!" Timmy said. "I better find a hiding spot!" Timmy quickly ran straight into the fireplace. Soon, Mr. Crocker came with a pink goose.

[Mr. Crocker]

Sniff, sniff!

What is this smell?

Tender and soft and diligent.

It smells like a human child!

Mr. Crocker looked around in his castle, but didn't notice Timmy. "Hm, there is no way that I have a human child in my house!" Mr. Crocker said. As you may know, Mr. Crocker was a mean giant who always goes crazy over fairies eventually when they exist! He would sometimes eat little children who came into his castle. The pink goose, Wanda, has an ability to lay golden eggs. Every time Mr. Crocker said, "Dear goose, dear goose, lay a golden egg!"

[A.J]

The goose laid a golden egg.

Boing!

What just happened?

Bam!

Mr. Crocker soon fell into a deep slumber while eating. "Now, it's my chance!" Timmy whispered. He got out of the fireplace, picked up the pink goose, and quietly crept. The pink goose squawked, but Timmy shushed her. He quickly ran out of the castle. He climbed back onto The Beanstalk and went back home. Wanda laid a golden egg everyday, and Timmy and his mother became rich. Suddenly, Timmy soon got very curious.

[Timmy Turner]

The Beanstalk is still right here.

Will Mr. Crocker's castle once again appears?

I'm curious.

I wanna know.

Hmm…

I wish I will climb The Beanstalk again,

So maybe for one last time!

Timmy climbed The Beanstalk again. Mr. Crocker's castle was still here. This time, he hid in a large pot. Soon, BUMP THUMP! Mr. Crocker came back with a golden harp.

[Mr. Crocker]

Sniff, sniff!

What is this smell?

Tender and soft and diligent.

It smells like a human child!

The golden harp with a fairy right onto the side was actually from a statue. The sculptor carved the statue out of marble to represent the french fairy, Juandissimo Magnifico. After years have passed, Mr. Crocker stomped in and took the statue away. He put the statue right straight onto an old harp. With the golden strings being reattached, Juandissimo soon became alive and has a singing voice.

Mr. Crocker looked around inside his castle, but couldn't find Timmy. "Hm, if a human child comes, I won't miss him this time!" Mr. Crocker said. He turned around to the golden harp. "Dear harp, dear harp, sing me a song!" Mr. Crocker demanded. Soon, Juandissimo opened his eyes and sang a song.

[Juandissimo Magnifico]

My golden strings are like an angelic voice.

I play a song only for you.

When you listen to my song, you rejoice.

I play happy music for you, only for you!

Mr. Crocker fell into a deep, deep slumber after listening to Juandissimo's song. Timmy peeked out of the pot to see if the coast was clear. "I better show this golden harp to my mom!" Timmy whispered. Timmy got out of the pot, climbed the table up to the top and picked up the golden harp. He quietly crept through the hallway unnoticed. Suddenly, as Timmy was about to step out through the door, the harp started to scream!

"AHHHHH!"

[Juandissimo Magnifico]

Master! Oh, my master!

Someone is taking me!

[Mr. Crocker]

Sniff, sniff!

It's that human child!

I'm not missing him again!

He's stolen my goose!

In a panic, Timmy quickly ran out of the castle as fast as he could! Timmy climbed down, down, down The Beanstalk and came down in a hurry! Mr. Crocker was also chasing after Timmy! The Beanstalk swinging and swaying because of Mr. Crocker!

[Mr. Crocker]

Come back here, you sneaky human child!

I'm going to gobble you up!

[Timmy Turner]

Mother, mother!

Please, give me an ax!

Quickly, please!

Come on! Hurry up!

Mrs. Turner picks up an ax from the house. Timmy jumped off The Beanstalk, put the golden harp down, received the ax and swung it onto The Beanstalk as hard as he could!

[Timmy Turner]

Thump!

Swing the ax once.

The Beanstalk is shaking.

Thump!

Swing the ax twice.

The Beanstalk is shaking, shaking!

Soon, SNAP! And…BUMP THUMP! Finally, The Beanstalk crashed down and Mr. Crocker fell off! "Ahhhh!" Mr. Crocker screamed. And CRASH! Mr. Crocker landed on the ground and died. Mrs. Turner has some very important advice to Timmy. "Timmy, I heard that the pink goose and the golden harp you have stolen is from Mr. Crocker. What your father did before you were born is bad. Greed is not very good. Your father had ended being eaten by Mr. Crocker because of his greed. Never be greedy again." Mrs. Turner warned. "Okay, mom, I promise I won't be greedy again." Timmy said.

Timmy and his mother had lived happily ever after!

[Mrs. Turner]

My dear goose laid golden eggs everyday!

Listen to the most beautiful song my harp plays!

[Timmy Turner]

Hmm…

But there is still something weird.

The Beanstalk is chopped down and my yards all cleaned,

But I keep looking at the sky.

I don't know why, I don't know why.

Well, no one knows why!
