DIO went flying into the ground before skidding as he parted the ground, being knocked off his road roller.

Cave, Mister Chief, and Blinx all gasped in shock as they marveled at the person that managed to clip the vampire with such a daunting blow.

And Domio himself was mesmerized by the figure that soared him a truly grim fate as he gazed.

Long, flowing, dark magenta hair that fiercely flapped in the wind and rippling, defined muscles with astonishingly feminine features that were constructed a masculine jawline, accompanied by the cloth of an ancient warrior with piercing red eyes that quickly darted to the starving child, then to the trio below before returning it to the felled vampire as he held his pose before grabbing the vehicle.

GRAB!

CRASH!!!

SHATTER!

He then moved the vehicle from Domio's path as the two of them fell back to the ground, both making spider cracks in the ground as Domio moved his gaze to the steamroller as his giant fist shattered before revealing a more form-fitting one in its place, the energy returning to his body.

"Would you mind if I borrow this, boy?" The alien looked down at the boy, as Domio was still shell-shocked by his sudden appearance.

"Well...?" Kars raided a brow, his face becoming impatient.

The boy was still stunned, until he realized that the man was asking a legitimate question, and answered promptly.

"Do whatever you want, sir." The Loweean finally caught himself as he tried to move his other hand, which was not crippled to his relief. It did smart, but then again with his broken ankles and messed up arm with some other substantial injuries, some lingering pain in his hand did not mean much at this point.

JUMP!

EXPLOSION!

The boy kept the appendage by his side as he watched the strange warrior take the vehicle and shoot up into the air before hurling it at heart-stopping speeds, the object crashing and exploding where DIO was located.

The three below immediately darted their eyes to the explosion's origin as they were brimming with the feeling of mystery and foreboding from the random man that showed.

"He stopped DIO...!" Blinx spoke absentmindedly as he was reciprocated with words by Cave as a conversation formed.

"But just who is he?" She wanted answers, as if he was not on their side, things could take a turn for the absolute worse.

"All we can do at this point is wait for him to reveal his allegiance. Let's go check on Domio, he might not be doing so well after that stunt DIO pulled." The super soldier displayed some camaraderie as the trio went to the ice boy.

Kars looked down at them tending to the boy before dropping his interest in them.

BFFT!

He then looked towards the smoke that the road roller emitted as a sound of distortion was heard before he looked in front of him.

The Ultimate Life Form narrowed his eyes upon gazing at an unamused DIO.

SHAPESHIFT!

FLAP...!

He changed his arms into wings to maintain his position in the air, periodically flapping to do so.

This made DIO's brows jump with surprise as he took in the muscular bird hybrid.

"And what abomination of nature are you supposed to be? A vulture crossbred with a drag queen? Or a crow crossed with a transgender? A male stripper even?" The vampire mocked Kars as he seemingly floated in front of the alien, which intrigued him greatly.

"I am the Ultimate Life Form, Kars. And ironic that you insult my appearance when you look similar to a wayward circus clown that suffered from a tragic mid-life crisis and has now found an interest in gothic attire." The extraterrestrial shot back, making the vampire furrow his brows in indignation.

"Is that so?"

GLOW!

The vampire's eyes glowed before shooting out his Space Ripper Stingy Eyes from his eyes, only for Kars to raise his arm to deflect the blow with his arm blade.

ZOOM!...

SHINE!...

The beam raced into the horizon before detonating in another part of the city, the light reaching them from the explosion.

Domio looked to where the attack detonated as Cave, Mister Chief, and Blinx came to his side.

"You guys...!" He looked at them as they did the same, before noticing his mangled arm.

"How did your arm-" Cave tried to ask the but she then saw that he was in full armor as well, which only further surprised her as Domio explained.

"I tried to hit the road roller DIO was using. I messed up my arm because of it. The armor, er... Your guess is as good as mine but I think it's because I absorbed a lot of ice!"

"Hnng!"

FADE!...

"!..."

The preteen explained as he got up, then pain from his ankles shooting up his leg for a quick second before fading into numbness as his face did the same expression-wise.

"What happened?" Mister Chief raided his sign.

"Nothing. This is our chance, let's bounce!" Domio looked towards the cat as he nodded.

"Already ahead of you!" The cat dug before pulling out the item from his pockets.

Blinx then held his blue Time Crystal before the four of them were distorted from that position.

"...Was that supposed to be an attack?" Kars meanwhile, held back from snickering as DIO became more infuriated with his presence, not only being able to make fun but challenge his might.

"Silence!"

DIO roared as The World was brought out and sent a sickening hook to Kars' face, sending a shock wave as his neck craned and eyes widened.

The Ultimate Life Form was taken off guard as he caught himself before flapping to reorganize himself before flapping a second time to send a powerful gust of wind to cause the vampire to block as his stand went to protect him before he flew around and stabbed the vampire in the back with his arm blade.

"Kuh!"

FLAP!

Kars spat out some blood before flapping to straighten his body.

FLAP!!!

GUST!!!

GUARD!

And once more to send a gust of wind that made even DIO guard with its intensity.

BLOCK!

The World went to guard its master against the winds as DIO contributed to the effort as well.

MANEUVER!

But Kars used this as a distraction as he flapped his wings one more time until he managed to get behind DIO and flank him by extending the arm blade he had, impaling the vampire.

"!!!" DIO's eyes widened as he felt his body being damaged as he quickly looked to his abdomen to see a glowing blade rip his flesh apart as Kars yelled, his arms returning to normal.

"Light Mode!"

SHINE!!!

RIP AND TEAR!

He roared as the blades glowed as DIO felt agonizing pain from being caught in the move.

"AAAAAAH!"

RAISE!!!

The silver-haired vampire yelled as Kars went to raise his arm to cut the vampire apart in one motion. The World mirrored the damage as blood exploded from his abdomen as well.

DUBSTEP FART!

TIME STOP!!!

But before he could, DIO quickly stopped time during his pain and got his stand to fly behind him and sledgehammer Kars before sending a flurry of fists, before time resumed.

"Za Warudo!"

FLOAT!!!

SLEDGEHAMMER!!!

STAND BARRAGE!

He barked as The World quickly dragged itself behind Kara before clasping its hands and sending a bone-shattering axe handle to the back of the alien.

DIO resumed time as Kars was suddenly sent downward as the blade instead of slicing straight up, went straight down instead as the rest of the lower portion of DIO's abdomen as well as his loins.

"Grk!"

FALL!

Kars grit his teeth as blood escaped his clenched mouth as he twisted in the air before slamming into the ground, causing it to crater as he pushed off of it before he could be heel stomped by the stand, his instincts telling him to move.

The alien then looked up to see DIO fire another eye beam at him as he moved before time to be promptly winded by The World, sending him flying into a post office as papers and dust exploded from within.

Kars reacted with shock as an invisible force had hit him once again before crashing into the building.

EXPLOSION!!!

DIO looked down towards where his opponent had landed before during his eye beam at the establishment, but not before something shot up from the ruins as the explosion followed it with haste.

REVERT!

The vampire looked up to see Kars with his wings once again as he reverted them to arms before winding back and extending his arm towards him as a zooming punch.

DODGE!...

DIO's eyes widened as he moved his head before the attack missed him as he gave a cocky grin to the ancient warrior.

"Heh." He sniggered.

But to his horror, this action was mimicked by Kars as his own grin faded.

"You fool!"

CLOTHESLINE!!!

He yelled before moving his stretching arm as an armbar before giving DIO a throat-crushing extended clothesline as the man was pelted with the arm as blood escaped his wounded neck and mouth.

"ACK!"

RETRACT!!!

GRAB!

COLLAPSE!

The creature of the night yelled in torment as he was pulled across the sky before Kars returned his hand with such speed that it caused a friction burn on the vampire's neck before grabbing him by the neck and dragging him across the ground as multiple buildings were destroyed and dust was kicked up.

SLAM!!!

COLLAPSE!!!

Kars then created some whiplash for the vampire by creating the same motion with his arm, now repeatedly slamming DIO as he was simultaneously dragged before slamming him one final time by a gas station, causing the man to be engulfed in flames as he was propelled up in burning agony.

"BAKANAAAAA!"

RETRACT!

SPIN!!!

DIO shouted in abject agony as he was raised before being pulled as he was swung around like a top, moving faster as he neared Kars.

TILT!

SPIN!!!

STRETCH!

SMASH!!!

Until he was right in front of the Ultimate Life Form, before he tilted sideways, making DIO spin vertically as he was smashed into the ground as his mouth opened, but no blood escaped due to Kars' death grip on his throat.

DIO'S mouth opened as no sound escaped before Kars retracted his body towards his hand as he balled up his other hand as it glowed with bright fluorescent static.

'No... It can't be!' For the first time since he came here, DIO felt genuine fear as he was face to face with energy thought to be impossible to exist in this world.

It was Hamon.

And his fears were all but confirmed when he heard Kars yell out his technique.

"ZOOM PUNCH!!!"

EXTEND!!!

He screamed with a maddening grin before laughing maniacally.

DIO had to act fast. If that hit him, it would spell the end of him.

DUBSTEP FART!!!

TIME STOP!!!

'Za Warudo...!' He mentally chanted, an infinitesimally quiet sound escaping his lips as he halted his demise.

The silver-haired vampire was now a beaten mess, his tank top mostly shredded with only enough fabric to keep it on his back. His pants were busted and torn with many rips and tears as blood could be seen on them.

He also had some scratches in his body with a gaping while through his abdomen, plus the wounds from Domio not having an opportunity to heal, which put him in a worse position than he should have been as he was bleeding from the head, his forehead covered in blood as his eyes peeked through.

GRAB!-

ACID!

DIO tried to force himself free as he grabbed Kars' forearm with his own, attempting to rip it off with his superior strength but was unpleasantly surprised when his hand was assimilated and digested by the potent acids on his skin, removing his appendage from his body.

'FUCK!' DIO mentally swore as he quickly pulled back his arm before more of it could be consumed by the powerful bastard.

'Tch... I'll... Have to use The World for this situation.'

CHOP!!!

SEVER!

The vampire concluded as he brought forth his stand as it descended to their position before he commanded it to slash the hand that Kars held him down with.

DIO was freed from his hold as he rolled to the side but still couldn't quite wrestle the severed appendage that held his neck ironically enough.

It looked like he needed a hand-

This prevented him from actually speaking, the death grip still clutching him to the point his vocals were compromised greatly from the sheer pressure.

'YOU!!!...'

REEL!!!

OVERLAP!

The bloodsucker got to his feet before reeling back his remaining fist, fear energy covering it as he showcased a mix of wrath and strife as he used the additional power of The World which came to his side and reeled back as well as their fists overlapped before DIO let his fist fly.

BOOM!!!

SHOCKWAVE!!!

He made sure The World's first was coated over his own so that he wasn't vulnerable to the acidic nature of Kars' body as he landed a satisfying blow into the face of the paused warrior.

SUSPEND!...

The super punch was able to forcibly move the alien into an awkward position of his body being rotated and his face being morphed into a disturbing mix of a laugh and his cheek being pushed into his teeth.

RIP!!!

GASP!-

DIO then finally got The World to come to his aid and rip off the hand with some help from himself as their combined effort bypassed his acid as he was able to breathe and speak comfortably again.

DIO then widened his eyes as an SRSE beam escaped them and pierced through the head of Kars, making two incisions through his forehead and out the back of his head before finally resuming time after 31 seconds passed.

"Toki wa ugokidasu...!"

TIME RESUMES!

He panted, feeling tired for once in his time in Leanbox.

Kars was bombarded with stimuli to say the very least as he was down a hand, the pain was present in his face, his brain had been severely damaged and he was moving laterally undead vertically as he became disoriented in a flash as he momentarily lost track of DIO.

"How-"

COLLIDE!

TUMBLE!

CRASH!

SMASH...!

He was cut short by tumbling in the street, the asphalt being broken apart as he collided into some debris as well, giving DIO time to regenerate his wounds.

"He's distracted. Now I can rejuvenate myself."

REGENERATE!...

The menace to society sighed as his cuts and injuries began to close up.

EXTEND!!!

But before he could get some real damage healed, the hand that was removed from him suddenly shifted before extending its middle and index finger, stabbing the vampire between the eyes at his most vulnerable.

"?!"

STAB!

DIO noticed the appendage moving but not before it had already penetrated his head as he staggered back from the surprise attack.

SHAPESHIFT!

"BARK!-"

CHOMP!!!

The appendage then transformed into a wolf, a blood-thirsty predator as it sank its teeth into the shoulder of the vampire as it took advantage of the vampire's off-guard state.

"DAMN MUTT!"

STAB!!!

DIO yelled in frustration before taking his hand and shoving it into the spine of the canine, before draining its blood through his hand's contact and throwing it to the side, recovering some energy at the expense of his pride before he and The World both took out some knives and filled the bleeding out mutt full of stab wounds.

DRINK!!!

TOSS!

The wolf whined in pain as it felt the energy sapped from it, as well as seventy percent of its blood.

"MUDAMUDAMUDAMUDA!!!"

KNIVES!

THROW!!!!!

STAB!!!

BLEED!...

DIO roared as a dozen knives were gathered by him and his stand collectively before the both of them mutilated the primal beast with the fear knives, paralyzing it as it bled out pathetically.

STAND FLY!

The vampire then went in the direction that he sent Kars tumbling away towards as he made a lateral leap before using The World to glide with his stand flight.

He followed the path of disturbance in the asphalt until he saw that it abruptly ended as he stopped at the path's end. He quickly looked around as he used the dark stand as an extra set of eyes to distinguish the alien if he chose to hide amongst the broken buildings.

But unbeknownst to both of them, Kars had shapeshifted into an ant and was currently looking up at the oblivious vampire.

The insect then crouched before reverting to his human state as he swiftly gave DIO an uppercut that was with the first of a gorilla, magnifying his strength fourfold as he used the twenty fold increase in strength he got from his ant physiology at the time to both increase his jumping power and striking power to a whopping eighty times his usual capabilities.

SPRING!!!

REVERT!!!

SHAPESHIFT!!!

UPPERCUT!!!!!

This added with the fact that his physiology improved these attributes to mind-numbing levels, his ambush rendered the vampire's skull compressed with a punch strong enough to decimate a mountain.

CRUSH!!!

DIO couldn't even make a sound of pain as his skull was obliterated from the sheer physical force it received, sending him blasting into the sky rapidly flipping as his stand faded away from the extreme damage he took.

Kars followed the body of DIO as he smiled, finally being in a fight that was worth his time since his brawl with a god.

He wanted to see what was going on in other nations as they called them, human populations that resided in major civilizations around the main continent as he had read up, but saw the island and decided to take a peek at an isolated one for his first trip.

But Kars didn't expect to find someone who seemed so familiar in this world, and if he wasn't mistaken, the wolf had his blood taken, which meant only one thing.

He was fighting a Vampire.

This brought a twisted smile across his face as a sense of familiarity was present even on this alien planet. But it faded as his opponent was still somewhat lacking in comparison to himself with how the fight was going at that point.

He wondered if it was one from his world, with how the altercation was proceeding, as they were made solely as their food source.

Kars' thoughts would have to wait as he caught up to the creature of the night.

DIO had regenerated his head as it was now clear of injury but besmirched with the emotion of a losing supervillain.

"Who are you! How do you know Hamon! Why are you even here? And how the hell are you fighting me?!" The backed vampire bombarded the alien with questions.

"I am Kars! Hamon is something I despise even more than you may ever know, but can wield better than anyone in recorded history! I am not here to display any acts of heroism or altruism, but rather to test my mettle against someone who can contend with the mighty Kars, and you are my target solely because you are the strongest person I laid my eyes on this island!"

PROJECTILES!!!

Kars summarized before shooting feather projectiles at the vamp, making him use his stand to deflect them.

SONIC BOOM!

DIVE!!!

DIO didn't want to stay in one place lest Kars use Hamon, so he dived down, creating a sonic boom as he flew at thousands of times the speed of sound, before being pursued by Kars who changed his wings for peregrine falcon variants as he dove after the vampire.

DIO looked behind him as he saw the Ultimate Life Form gain on him with his wings cha going from magenta to grey as he shouted a question.

"Have you ever been acquainted with the term 'Stone Mask'?" He shouted as the vampire's eyes widened as Kars noticed his reaction as he laughed in confirmation.

"You do! How unfortunate. We made those masks purely for our food source. Your entire existence is for our sustenance. How does that sit with you, thinking that you had ascended humanity only to be degraded to the same level as the grass of a feeding sow?"

MANEUVER!!!

FLAP!!!

Kars further inquired, now side by side with the vampire as they pulled up upon reaching the ground.

"Shut the fuck up!"

STAND SHOULDER!

SHOCKWAVE!

DIO barked before trying to shoulder Kars, The World acting as his vanguard before the Ultimate Life Form reciprocated the action as they created a shockwave from their confrontation.

The seething scowl of DIO and the belittling beam of Kars were neck and neck as the eyes of the silver-haired invader glowed before shooting a continuous Space Ripper Stingy Eyes in the position of Kars' head.

SHAPESHIFT!!!

REFLECT!!!

"You-"

EXPLOSION!

But the alien shapeshifted his skin before contact was made, replacing it with a reflective material, being metallic silver before fusing it with a resilient one such as titanium before making the beam bounce off of his face and back into DIO, blasting him away with his attack.

REVERT!

LAND!

SHAPESHIFT!

DASH!!!

The silver-haired vampire was sent away as Kars followed him on foot as he reverted to his regular state, his skin becoming spotted akin to a cheetah as he reaped the benefits of the fastest land animal cranked up to his unnerving potential, easily crossing the speed of sound by the thousands.

ZOOM!!!

CRASH!

Kars felt the air around him start to ripple from the speed he showcased, easily reaching Mach 10,000 as he closed the gap between him and DIO within seconds, the vampire still being blasted through debris as that moved towards the eastern sector of the city, where damage was to be made.

JUMP!

Kars used his increased speed to jump and ram into DIO, sending the both of them through some skyscrapers before slamming into a hotel apartment that Kars rearranged and managed to double heel kick DIO through to the ground.

"Is this all the power you possess! Pathetic!"

RAM!!!

GUARD BREAK!

CRASH!

Kars mocked before slamming into the vampire akin to a freight train as DIO used his stand to block but was still damaged by the momentum as The World was shortly broken through.

"WRYYY!"

JET!!!

EVADE!

BOB!

WEAVE!

DIO screamed as he tried to blast Kars out of the sky to no avail, his head bobbing at just the right moment to dodge the beams before they even left his sclera.

EXPLOSION!!!

The missed eye beams caused numerous buildings to go down in smoke as many bricks and glass were shattered, pelted, obliterated or all three in that order as collateral damage was surely in the billions without a shadow of a doubt.

SMASH!

BEND!

HEEL KICK!!!

BOOM!

The alien used the momentum to smash the vampire through more of the buildings before bending his knees and kicking through the hotel, sending him through it and into the ground, right in a playground.

"DAMMIT!"

BFFT!

BOOM!!!

DIO roared with pain as he quickly used his time stop to reorient himself as he hit his back on the monkey bars before crashing into the sand, creating a spike of it as time resumed.

Kars quickly went back to his grey wings before pursuing the vampire as he yelled.

"I was expecting more from you! I was a fool to believe you had any power!"

BFFT!

The fear-mongering vampire shouted repeatedly as Kars convulsed violently by The World's will.

FEAR ENERGY!

The bloodsucker screeched as his eyes glowed red, but became a darker hue of red, shifting from big red button red to a more sinister maroon. Fear energy was being added to the equation as his eyes darkened with power.

Kars ignored the pain he felt as the invisible force attacked him, the superior life form suspecting it to be an invisible entity that the vampire controlled. He then peered past that to see him charging the attack.

'He's using this force to distract me? Not bad, but it will take more than that to What is that?!' Kars caught on to the unearthly energy that radiated from DIO's eyes as he began to strategically plan his next move.

'The energy this emitting does not sit well with me. I should do my best to completely avoid the attack or cancel it out. But how should I go about it is the real question...' Kars remained in thought as he gazed at the shining pupils before going through with a course of action.

HAMON!

EXTEND!!!

SHAPESHIFT!

He realized that his hand was still not with him, so he regenerated it as he made the stump glow as it danced around with Hamon as it grew, but not without the appenage's fingers being a reflective silver as it would be able to reflect the beam if shot, as well as annihilate DIO's skull if it connected.

Ignoring the pain, the alien sent a straight shot to DIO's face as The World was inadvertently impaled as it didn't expect something to attack it indirectly, its durability not being taken into account as the injury was mirrored on DIO.

"Ghk!"

DIO felt the agonizing station if impalation before quickly stopping time right as the first was about to make contact with his skin.

"Za... Warudo...!" DIO wheezed before spitting out some more blood from the injury as he maneuvered himself behind Kars as he spoke.

"That would have done me in, too... If I could not stop time!" He smiled as time resumed once DIO spent the next thirty two seconds overcharging his ability.

His eyes' glow had become black, the first energy completely taking a hold of the technique, corrupting it to levels of power that would never be naturally achieved by DIO.

The area in front of his face had also become distorted as the space in front of it couldn't handle the pure destructive capability that his attack now possessed as it was far behind its intended level of intensity.

RIPPLE!

"Toki was ugokidasu...!"

TIME RESUMES!

Kars' fist went forward but hit nothing as he realized that the vampire teleported as he immediately turned behind him to see him launch his attack that had now reached the speed of light thanks to the influence of fear energy.

FEAR LASER!!!

DARKEN!

DISTORT!!!

The attack didn't come out as its usual pink and white color but instead came out as a dark magenta glow with a pitch-black beam in the center that was easily large enough to engulf a large building. No swirls were present as the environment faded to grey for a second as the fear energy that was so concentrated was finally released, sending shockwaves through the nation as space was distorted around the beam as well.

Kars was unable to dodge from being flanked with the attack.

He was overcome with insanity-inducing pain as his entire body felt as if it was being ripped at the cellular level as he was being pushed by the blast.

He desperately tried to move but was stuck in place due to the nullifying effects of fear energy as he was finally put in a tough spot as the beam obliterated and decimated all in its path as it was slightly aimed downwards, slowing reaching the ground as a path of utter destruction left in its wake.

"What is this...?!" Kars said as he felt his body being eaten away by the malicious medium of energy as he looked back and saw what happened to anything that made contact with the attack.

The buildings, the trees, the cars, the debris, anything. that wasn't him was falling into the blast's path and being destroyed, beyond even the cellular level, probably to an atomic scale if Kars had to hypothesize, if not more.

With that in mind, he made his entire body a reflective silver, to minimize the damage to be taken from the beam before fusing the reflective ore with something that even spider silk was inferior in durability too.

He made his body a fused alloy between aluminum and graphene, mixed with his insane potential and heightened state amongst everything in nature, managing to keep the damage on his body to a bare minimum as the mind-numbing sense of pain had been reduced to moderate discomfort as Kars proceeded with the process on his entire body.

PULL!

The Ultimate Life Form tried to push back the beam as he forced his arms into the blast, but his efforts amounted to nothing as they did all but linger, not even slowing the enormous beam's momentum.

So he decided to pull his way out of the attack before it detonated on the ground, which was not long as he looked behind him and saw that they were approaching the ocean as he used all his energy to maneuver himself out of the attack.

He just barely managed to rip himself out of the attack as it hit the water, Kars flying up just as it detonated shortly after, spiking up as a vertical explosion of energy that darkened the environment again as it could be seen from Planeptune and Lastation, and felt from Lowee as a slight tremor.

Just as a three hundred meter wave was blasted from the epicenter as slammed into the remaining buildings, smashing through them without difficulty as the shock wave from the explosion blew Kars back to the point where he had to flap like a hummingbird to keep his position in the air.

Kars kept his face as he observed all the damage that took place as he saw some bodies being washed away by the currents as some of them look like they were from some military, others civilian. Some canine and feline, others swimming and sinking.

He was uninterested in them to be honest, as he had more pressing matters to attend to than concern himself with humans.

BFFT!

And that concern was made present when DIO appeared flying as he laughed at the despair of the people below him.

"Hahahahahaha! Measly humans dying from floods! What a joke! But that attack... With such power at my disposal, hinting down the targets should be a sweat! Since that insufferable man is dead, where the hell did those brats run off to? That revolting male stripper caused me more trouble than he's worth."

FWOOSH!!!

RAPIDS!!!

The vampire mused as he became complacent with his newfound exhibition of power.

GRIP!!!

But that complacency would cost him as Kars grabbed DIO by the back of the neck before diving down into the flood currents for a battle in the rapids as he received back to his regular state.

"!!!" DIO's eyes widened as Kars spoke once more.

"Your overconfidence will be the end of you."

He lectured, speaking from experience in that department before reverting and becoming heavy due to making his body as heavy as osmium as the two plummeted as DIO's air circulation was cut off once again.

SUBMERGE!

His hand then grabbed DIO's ankle before raising the man and slamming his spine into the alien's knee just before they were submerged, making DIO release any air he had left as blood soon followed as they went under the water.

Nebula finally gained the ability to move his body as he watched over his ex-girlfriend.

He regressed to his human form, using the rest of his energy to transfuse his share energy into Taleia, which gave her enough strength to no longer the paralyzed as she was sitting on the bench, her legs still not functional.

Her legs didn't work like they used to before-

The CPU sat beside her, looking at his hands as he patiently waited to recollect enough share energy to transform again since they had to use the rest of their SP items to give Brave Heart enough energy to fully transfuse the woman to a receptive state.

Taleia looked towards his hand, before her own, enjoying the hand-holding they did while she was in a vegetable state.

I'd say 'hand-holding, how lewd eheheheh', but that's kind of wholesome and disturbing which makes it juicier if I'm being honest.

Not that she'd tell him, of course. That'd just make it awkward between the two of them. Especially with their prior history, it would just look like she wanted to rekindle and the situation at hand would just make it way more unnecessarily awkward than it needed to be.

She then looked to AL, who regained control of his entire body as he stood up, and fiddled with the arrow he had him in his possession, as menacing as it looked with its design.

Spinning it on its spine as it rotated between the tip of each finger, it seemed as if the slightest movement could cause it to fall.

This made him ponder as he kept a close eye on the arrow, keeping track of Domio and the others with his sensory capabilities alongside Nebula, who focused more on DIO and what he was brawling with.

Or rather whom.

Avery and Betty were checking the ammo that they had to manage to salvage by be tiring into the destroyed convoys and piling up the battery cells that their weaponry used.

They also collected the dog tags from their fallen comrades to commemorate their service for when this mess was over, and mourn their deaths as it was stored in their inventory.

The duo now sat in the convoy as Avery inspected the arrow with AL as the two of them tried to go through the military database on any information on the item, to no avail at the moment. This only made its circulation, abilities, and appearance more mysterious.

Betty, on the other hand, checked the ammunition to see what was usable and what had to be trashed, as broken cells were unstable and had the risk of becoming reactive and creating an explosion that could jeopardize their well-being in the vehicle.

Alongside some medkits, as she now tended to the wounds of Nebula since AL refused, his power needing damage to work effectively. Taleia then aided in this process as she felt pretty useless being a paralyzed vegetable until not long ago and to repay Nebula for helping her out.

Lady Wac, Poona, and Moru were all currently sitting in a triangle as they mingled amongst themselves, giving a breather to the rather dark atmosphere that had been established ever since DIO had touched down in the green nation.

"Man, I'm super hungry right now,"

MUNCH!

Moru complained before pulling out a fish from her inventory and feasting on the animal.

"How did you manage to bring that without it stinking up the place?" Lady Wac stared at the first with a raised brow, unbeknownst to the others due to her bangs.

"That's actually a good question..." Poona contemplated the inquiry before turning to the youngest Commander.

"Oh, I just make sure to put it reeeeeally deep in my inventory so that the smell doesn't reach outside!"

MUNCH!

Moru smiled as she talked with food in her mouth. She then swallowed before taking another bite out of the fish.

"I don't think smell works like that..." Poona sweatdropped as she looked concerned at her fellow Commander's reasoning.

"Leave her be, Poona. Moru wouldn't understand it if we tried to tell her how that makes no reasonable sense." The witch-like woman shook her head in weariness.

"Ok." The green-haired girl conceded.

"Her instincts are as sharp as her brain is dull. I guess you can't have your cake and eat it too. Poor girl."

JOLT!

Nebula muttered as Moru was too busy dining on her snack no notice his poking remark as he was suddenly felt his arm wrapped in bandages as he felt a pang of PTSD from Compa that made him jolt.

"Stay still!" Taleia shouted at the CPU before he apologized sheepishly.

"Sorry about that. It's just that I've had an experience with bandages before." He tried to satiate his former lover's annoyance.

"Bandages?... Are we not getting some bondage situation you had?"

DAB!

A slender brow was raised as Betty gained a slightly pervy look in her eyes, her face becoming slightly flushed as she dabbed some alcohol onto his bloody scratches.

BLUSH!

"What?!" Taleia's face became red as she imagined Nebula in a compromising position, bandages tying him up as he was ravaged by another woman-

"Hey now, whatever you're imagining, stop. It was NOT like that. She's too wholesome for that kind of thing." He immediately shut down the train of thought the half-elf could he into when she got going.

'Or is she...? The cute innocent ones are usually the most freaky.' He internally shuddered before getting back on point.

"Or was she the rope bunny instead, hmm?" The soldier further pressed the man as she got closer to him to add onto the pressure as he looked her dead in the eyes to see if he'd fluster.

"Hmm... Considering her innocent personality, I wouldn't put it past her if she had a bondage fetish but I don't think it's on purpose when she showed genuine concern to patch me up." Nebula truthfully answered as the corporal then went to dab some alcohol onto his face.

"Not quite the answer I was looking for, but alright." Betty moped as Nebula flinched from the stinging feeling on his face as she squinted her eyes.

He hissed but got it under control before he could shift in discomfort.

"But why did you get all flustered, Agent Taleia?" The soldier then got on her case as she looked away.

"Uh, what are you talking about? Me? Flustered? I would never-" Her rambling deflections were cut off as the CPU god sold her out.

"You're doing it right now." Nebula sent a trollish look as Taleia's face became stone cold as she threatened him with a balled fist.

"Grr... Be quiet!" She shook her clenched hand as her face became more flushed as a result.

It took everything that Nebula had not to just out laughing and embarrass his best friend even more than she already was, by how he shifted eye contact with her. Which in turn only made her more annoyed with him.

"How cute."

He admitted, locking eyes with her in a playful manner as he instead appreciated how she got when she was in such as state as all of her previous anger melted away as she became flustered to the point where her fist became fingers twitching in embarrassment.

"I-I...! You...! E-Er...!" Her speech became fragmented as she began stuttering as he then looked to Betty, with a raised brow and a slight snigger.

"The fact that I've been inside her and she still acts like a flustered high schooler warms my heart and amuses me to no end." He told her as the soldier began to laugh as she just finished patching up a nasty cut.

"HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!" Betty cackled as Lady Wac put a hand to her mouth as she hid her laughter. AL bleated from sheer humor before dying as he sounded like a certain meme laugh as Avery stifled his laugh.

"Oh my!... Ah, to be young." Lady Wac laughed in secret.

"Pfft!" The private bit his tongue for him not to chortle without restraint.

Moru and Poona were confused about what made that sentence so funny so they just looked at the three with lost looks.

"YOU'RE THE WORST, NEBULA!"

The elite soldier screeched as she tried to claw at him, only for his gravity barrier to prevent her from doing real, well, any damage.

"Hey, stop that! You're only getting more adorable the more you try to make me stop!" He chuckled at her antics as she clawed at his face to no avail.

"Fine. I'll let you off with a stern glare, but if you do something like that again, I'll...!" She faltered.

"You'll?..." The CPU adventurer repeated, knowing that there was little that she could do to him unless he allowed it.

"Hmph." She swiftly dropped the threat before going back to tending to his wounds, her face still somewhat red from lingering embarrassment.

"I needed a good laugh. Thanks, you three." AL gave his gratitude to the trio's shenanigans.

A thumbs up from Nebula, a smile from Betty, and a scowl from Taleia were all that the martial artist needed to know that his thanks were heard.

"That was sure something, huh?" Avery spoke as he was on a device that he brought with him, going through a government database.

"Yeah. Speaking of something, find anything about this arrow?"

ROTATE!!!

AL questioned as he spun the shaft of the object on his index as balanced it with intrigue and handiness.

"I got shit about flaming arrows, poison arrows, EMP arrows, arrows that have a stun grenade attached to them, even arrows that become invisible after you fire them but nothing about that particular one..." He responded, his face revealing his stumped demeanor as AL took a closer look at the weapon.

"That's strange. You'd think something as badass looking as this arrow would have some sort of story behind it." The fire user pondered.

'Then again, I wouldn't put the black market joint ahead of Gust, that kid is freaking ominous when it comes to business. She's nesting Kei's mantle at this point.'

GRAB!

AL shook his head as he stopped the spinning arrow.

"I probably shouldn't use this arrow until I know what it does. If it's anything like feat energy, then if I use it on DIO he might become unstoppable." The dark-skinned warrior decided as he turned to the 'older' blonde.

"You know anything about this, Waka Flacka?" He punned her name with a certain rapper as she answered.

"It's just Wac. And no, I don't know much about its origins. But I do know something that will happen if you are stabbed by the arrow." She resided a finger, which made AL, Nebula, and Avery perk their eyes in interest.

"Which is?" The private put down his device as he finally got some info.

"If the arrow deems the stabbed person unworthy, they will be filled with power, but at the cost of their sanity, turning them into an unstable berserker." She enlightened the group in a foreboding tone as Nebula spoke.

"What happens if you ARE worthy?" The adventurer asked.

"No one really knows for sure, but it has been speculated that awakening will be unlocked that improves both the mind and the body. Maybe even the soul, but it is all in speculation." The blonde stated as AL looked at the skull-shaped weapon.

"Let's say, hypothetically, I stabbed myself, either two things happen. I'd become the equivalent of if I fully merged with the Satsui no Hado and go ape shit, or I become busted enough to fight with DIO without problem... Or something." The fighter wondered as Nebula turned to him.

"Speaking of which, why didn't you use it?" The CPU asked.

"The arrow?" Poona questioned.

"No, the Satsui no Hado. I mean, he's done well so far dont get me wrong but with that block and how DIO somehow gets stronger over time, it might be time to bring it out." Nebula suggested as AL reminded him of the danger that came with using it.

"I already would have, if there wasn't a chance I'd turn into a raging force of nature if I used it for too long." The martial artist brought up. "Even Grandpa tells us not to use it unless the situation is dire." He continued.

"If he says that, then why did he still teach it to us? It's basically made for situations like these, and you're holding it back based on a lack of restraint. I know it's a gambit, but we don't really have much else to stall DIO with besides our plan and Domio." Nebula responded.

"I know but I just don't want to end up being a bigger problem than DIO when I use it. Speaking of which, Domio's been doing pretty well against DIO." The flame user switched subjects, trying to move on from it.

That didn't go unnoticed by Nebula, as he played along.

"That's a good thing, no? I knew he could do it!" He beamed. This caused the halfling to dart her eyes between Nebula and AL.

"Wait, you guys sent Domio?" Taleia gawked as she couldn't believe her ears.

"Betty and I had a problem with it as well, but desperate times called for desperate measures," Avery admitted as he looked at her.

"We also tried to protest but... We really didn't have the room for debate in that instance." Lady Wac sweatdropped as she spoke for the Commanders.

"AND YOU LET HIM GO!? He can barely hold back his stuttering, let alone hold back someone like DIO!" She panicked as she finished up patching up Nebula before attempting to stand up.

SIT...!

Before sitting back down, her legs were still as weak as a newly born farm animal.

"Damnit! This is your fault, you two!" She pouted.

"What? How?! Domio is doing the goddess' work. He's a hero!" Nebula tried to defend his decision.

"He's a child! He can't even watch PG-13 movies by himself! Why in Green Heart's name would you send him to fight a man that could single-handedly destroy the country!" She rebutted as the CPU furrowed his brows.

"Look, Taleia. You were a paralyzed vegetable. I could barely move my head, and AL his upper body. We were in no condition to go back out and fight DIO, and sending anyone else besides him would be throwing coal into an inferno. No offense, you guys." The CPU turned to the others as they all stated:

"None taken."

"But by himself?!" She pressed on.

"We sent him as reinforcements. You're getting your panties in a twist for something while honestly is pretty fucked up from a social standpoint, isn't nearly as bad as you'd expect. He's with Cave and Mister Chief, And that cool cat too." Nebula gave context to the situation.

Taleia remained quiet to think how much less screwed Domio would be in a situation like that.

"I'd never put Domio in a hopeless situation. Trust in my judgment, Tals." The blue-haired pseudo protagonist looked at his ex with narrowed eyes.

"Last time I did that, I let you have sex with me." The half-elf soldier deadpanned.

"Then that just means I know what I'm talking about, doesn't it."

HIGH FIVE!

A cheeky grin spread across the CPU's lips as he stuck out his hand as AL gave him a low five.

An angry yet impressed huff escaped her lips as the two of them laughed at her reaction.

"I still dont get it." Moru shook her head.

"Me neither." Poona shared her solace in ignorance.

"You will one day." Avery gave them some hope of understanding the R-rated humor that was before them.

"Or should you say, one time?" Betty corrected.

"How lewd." Lady Wac giggled with some modesty as she covered her mouth once again.

"But can you tell where he is? He was gone since I was up, so he would have to be gone for a while, right?" She asked the persons who could sense energy.

"He's approaching us, actually. He's not alone either, but it's not DIO chasing him. We should be seeing him any moment now-"

STEPS!...

AL was cut off by the sounds of footsteps as the boy in question, alongside the elite and super soldiers and the temporal cat all stopped in front of the convoy.

"Everyone!" Domio yelled as he looked at his friends and the Leanbox military.

"We have returned." Cave notified as she looked around to see the survivors of the first confrontation with DIO as well as the Commanders with her peer and the flaming man, with another stranger.

"It's good to see you all still alive."

VISIBLE!

Mister Chief raided his sign as he became visible once again, showing his injuries and damaged suit as he did.

"Good, we made it! We have some good news and some bad news!" Blinx immediately got to the chase as Nebula got up and walked to the front.

"Tell us all about it."

He motioned as he stuck out his hand as Mister Chief extended his arm and he pulled the super soldier in the convoy.

"Well the good news is we're back, and DIO is currently being fought by someone." The cat explained as AL raised a brow.

"Someone? Care to elaborate?" The fighter asked the cat.

"That is the bad news, I'm afraid. We have no idea who he is. What his motives are, where he came from, or whose side he might be on." Cave explained as Nebula pulled her up next.

"That could be setting us up for something worse than what we're already dealing with." Betty took in this new flow of information as she turned to Avery.

"Especially since he sounds strong enough to fight evenly with DIO, if not even more. How was the fight before you left?" The private wanted something to scale how powerful this mystery fighter was to the big bad that was unleashed on Leanbox.

"He was actually able to overpower DIO during the course of the fight we saw. Not with speed or brute strength, but his skill as a warrior managed to supersede anything the vampire threw at him." Mister Chief raided another sign as he explained.

"This guy is fighting with DIO and stay on top?" Taleia was agape. "Who is he?" She continued.

"He said his name was Kars," Domio revealed.

"Kars?!" Nebula and AL shouted as everyone in the vehicle jumped at their outburst.

"Ack!" Moru screamed in shock.

"What was that for?!" Lady Wac is rated the two.

"Kars is in Leanbox? I thought he was in Lowee?" AL looked at the CPU.

"He must have flown. It's the only way he could get here so quickly. But why fight DIO?..." Nebula wondered.

"Wait. Dial it back a bit. Who even IS Kars?" Avery wanted to be in the know, and frankly so did everyone else as they nodded in agreement.

"He's an alien. We met him training on the northern island off the coast of Lower when he crashed landed as an extraterrestrial mineral rock. He was able to contend with Gris, another CPU god that appeared not too long after I did who might be arguably stronger than I am. So the guy's strong, no question." Nebula enlightened everyone on a short backstory from Kars.

"He's an alien? My arm probably looks more alien than he does." Domio shited to his arm as Taleia paled at the sight of the boy's battered limb.

She then became serious as she patted her lap.

The boy turned to her before paling.

"Sit down and let me take care of you." She said before sending a death glare to the CPU who promptly focused on Kars' motive instead of his fuming ex.

"Ahem!" The CPU looked away as he switched his gaze to AL who looked outside.

"But I'm in ice armor, you'll get cold-" He tried to protest, but Taleia was hearing none of it.

"My legs are pretty much numb. Now be quiet and let me help you."

SIT!

She told the child before he awkwardly sat on her lap with a slight blush, hidden by his ice armor as she began to inspect it.

"Yeah, so any ideas?" He asked his brother from another mother.

"He's most likely looking for a good fight. I'd say information since that's what he wanted when he fought Gris but with how Leanbox looks from the outside, that's probably what he wants most since he'd be trying to find out info about some ruins otherwise." AL deduced as the Leanboxians took offense to that.

"Hey, our nation isn't a bunch of ruins." Betty denied.

"Not until DIO," Domio commented before being pushed by the half-elf.

"It's not that bad. Look on the bright side, he only messed up the western sector-"

TREMOR!!!

The convoy suddenly violently as everyone shook within its space.

GRAVITY!

LEVITATE!

The problem was loved however as Nebula used his barokinesis to lift the vehicle from the inside with contact as they were spared from having Mona throw upon them.

"Ugh... Thanks, dude." The catgirl gave her thanks to the CPU. A nod was her welcome.

"What was that?!" Poona asked as she looked outside to see the shaking of the environment.

"A tremor or an earthquake no doubt, but what caused it? DIO?" Lady Wac asked.

"Who else at this point, if not Kars."

FEAR WAVE!

AL rolled his eyes before they widened as a wave of fear energy washed over them for a split second before ebbing away.

"That's DIO." The CPU said without a shadow of a doubt, sensing the fear energy emitted from the east.

"What the hell did he do?!" Avery asked with fear in a cold sweat from experiencing a slither of the fear energy that was in the attack launched.

"He used fear energy. It's basically share energy's antithesis if I'm not mistaken by how it interacts with it. That attack was in the east, close to the coats which means if we felt it all the way here in the west, Eastern Leanbox is probably submerged in rapids and floods while smoldering." Nebula conceptualized as AL interjected.

"The amount of people that got wiped off the face of Gamindustri from that attack isn't small in the slightest, from who got obliterated to who might drown. Not to mention Green Heart has trillions in property damage, and Kars has entered to spike that number if not also increase that death toll from their skirmish." The adventurer predicted as Taleia spoke next.

"Then someone has to go down there and make sure that Kars doesn't add to the destruction and prevent DIO from taking any more lives." The agent said as Domio used some Healing Pods to alleviate some of the damage done to his arm.

"So that person has to deal with not one, but two powerhouses? As much as it hurts what remains of my pride, I'll have to sit this one out." Avery sarcastically said, knowing he wouldn't stand a chance in hell with the likes of Kars and DIO.

"Like you had any in the first place. I'm out as well, my tender body can only do such much." Betty said as she posed seductively.

"What is tender on there exactly, ma'am?'' The private asked as her slightly muscular frame stated otherwise.

"Insubordination!"

BIFF!

She punched him in the shoulder with a tick mark on her forehead.

"I-I'll go." Domio opted.

An intense glare from Taleia made him waver, but her intentions were reciprocated by Nebula.

"Not this time. You did your part and now you're injured. I need you to heal before you can even think about going back out there, Dom." The CPU shook his head.

The half-elf looked at her past lover with some gratitude and respect for being a good father figure for once.

"Thank you, Nebby. You almost sounded like his father for a second." She poked at his parental skills or lack thereof in her eyes.

Nebula gazed at her with a snide look as he retorted.

"And you sound like he actually came out your snatch instead of his mother's." He shot back.

"He might as well have, since-"

"Alright, alright. We can discuss who gets custody of Domio later." AL broke up the dispute before moving on.

"Commanders, you guys are in or-... You know what, it would be a waste to ask, guess that's just gonna leave me and the three of you left to choose from." The fire user disregarded their input as they were about to get offended, but then realized they did nothing for the course of the night.

"..." Their silence was a testament to that realization.

"I could go back out, but I doubt my suit would hold up due to the damage sustained in those rapids with this model of suit due to its sheer weight. Neither my weaponry, since none of my shots hit for some weird reason." Mister Chief stated as Nebula enlightened him.

"The World most likely blocked your shots."

"I see..." The super soldier took in.

"How about you?... Er..." Blinx was up next as AL turned to him.

"It's Blinx. I can swim. But I doubt I'll be good in a head-on fight. But I can even the odds with these." He pulled out some crystals that were blue, yellow, green, purple, and orange.

"Pretty!" Moru's eyes sparkled at their glow as she came closer.

"What are they, exactly?" Nebula raided a brow.

"Time Crystals. They allow me to manipulate time, based on their color which determines their abilities and differentiates their abilities." The cat explained. "Blue one stops time, orange one fast forwards it, purple one rewinds it, yellow one slows it down, and the green one records it. I'm sure I can be useful on this trip." The cat beamed as Domio tilted his head in confusion.

"Record time?" The boy repeated, the concept a perplexing one.

"It would take a while to explain, but in short I can do two things at once by recording myself a clone doing something I did while I do something else." He summarized.

"So temporal cloning. Nice. Youre in." AL pointed.

The cat fist pumped.

"What about me?" Cave stepped up to the plate.

"What can you do, Miss...?" AL questioned back.

"Cave. I am incredibly dexterous, possess numerous skills ranging from wind, fire, and danmaku, and also can double as a lifeguard to ensure that Blinx does not find himself in a precarious position while you engage DIO, and possibly Kars." She gave her strengths concisely and formally.

"Nice summary. You're in, Cave." The pyro warrior welcomed her as he turned to Nebula and Taleia.

"Your legs dont work too well yet, so you're literally going to have to sit this one out." AL snorted as the half-elf dryly laughed.

"Ha ha." She sarcastically laughed before giving Domio another healing item as he thank her. "Here, Dom." She sighed.

"Thanks." The Loweean answered.

"And you got enough energy to transform, Neb?" AL looked to his best friend.

"I mean, for 5 seconds? Sure. For the rest of the night? HELL NAW. I got to rest some more. Speaking of which..." He trailed off as he slowly rested the car back on the ground, as the tremors subsided.

LAND...!

"Then you're out. Guess it's the three of us in the end."

SIT!

He looked to Blinx and Cave as Mister Chief to a seat next to the Leanboxian soldiers.

"It's an honor to be sitting next to you, Mister Chief, sir." Betty saluted the army celebrity.

"The feeling is shared with me, sir." Avery did the same as the super-soldier raised another sign.

"That's nice to hear. At least some of you managed to survive a confrontation." It read.

They continued to converse as AL gripped the arrow in his hand. Nebula saw the action and decided to speak about it.

"Don't let it bug you." He said.

"What?" AL looked at him.

"Use it as a last resort. Since DIO is probably way stronger now after that attack he let off, the Satsui no Hado is probably the only way to even the odds if more damage doesn't cut it." The CPU began.

"At least then, you can deactivate it if it starts to overwhelm you. But the arrow is even more of a gambit than that power, and you know it. Especially with Kars on the scene, and he might try to fight you as well if he manages to defeat DIO."

GRAB!

GIVE!

The adventurer continued as he took the arrow before presenting it to him.

"So use it as the very last resort. If the Satsui no Hado overpowers you. If you're on the verge of death. If Kars is defeated, as unlikely as it sounds. If Cave or Blinx is in mortal danger. Do you understand?"The deity looked him in the eyes.

AL's flaming pupils brightened in determination and drive as he took the arrow, his chest flame mimicking the pupils as he smirked.

BURN!

TAKE!

"Yeah. Thanks." AL pocketed the object as he turned to the two of them.

"I'm going to have to carry you two so that we can land on a stable building and go from there. So if you got any problems, tell me now so that I can try to accommodate how we're gonna do this." The man told the two.

Seeing Chika and Vergo argue was something fresh in his mind for the next time he had to carry someone.

"I'll just hang on your back. I weigh lighter than Cave, so you should be able to handle it no problem." Blinx winked with a thumbs up, only to feel intimidation behind him as Cave gave him a menacing glare.

ゴゴゴゴ!...

"What are you implying?..." She threatened.

"Uh, no offense, Cave!" The cat made sure to appease the woman's opinion on her weight before moving on, her face returning to normal.

"Right. How about you, Cave?" The dark-skinned member turned to the elite soldier.

"I would not mind being carried." She honestly stated as he nodded.

"Kool."

KNEEL!

HOP ON!

The fiery man nodded before stooping for the cat to get onto his back, Sweeper and all.

"You good up there?"

STAND!

The fire user asked his feline passenger as he stood up.

"Whoa! Sure am! I've never flown before so this should be awesome!" The Time Sweeper said with excitement, Domio being hit with a feeling of déjà vú from the scene.

He then turned to Cave.

"If you don't mind...!"

CARRY!

He grunted before picking her in the touted princess carry, her face slightly dusted with pink from the action as her eyes slightly widened, her pupils shrinking a bit from the new feeling.

"Ah...!" The soldier didn't really know how to process the way she was being carried since she never recalled a moment where someone did this to her in this scenario.

"Ok, that was kind of cute." Nebula had a cheeky look on his face as he chuckled before it made the redhead glow red from the compliment.

"Um, you don't have to call me that, sir." She looked away not wanting to meet the eyes of the CPU.

"Uh oh, Nebula. We might have found her weakness. Isn't that right, Cave the Cutie?" AL laughed as Cave became more bashful from her secret desire being brought to light.

HIDE!

Looking away from everyone and accidentally pressing her face in AL's chest was proof of this, completely disregarding she was using a muscular pectoral as her hiding spot.

"That's enough you two. Don't you have somewhere to be, AL?" Taleia shot a knowing look to AL as he laid off the emerald-eyed soldier.

"Oop. My bad. That's enough teasing, Neb. Squadala, we are off!"

JUMP!...

JOG!

BOOST!!!

FLY!

AL chanted before jogging to the outside of the convoy, jumping off the landing before running a few meters and blasting off into the sky, the yells of Blinx being heard.

"WOOOOOOOOOO!!!" The cool cat screamed in excitement as they took to the skies.

"...!" Cave moved her head from the pec as she saw the ground below them, finally looking around as she gazed towards their destination's cardinal point.

''Godspeed, AL.'' Nebula bid him farewell as he saw him fly off into the distance as an orange glimmer.

WAVES!!!

FWOOSH!!!

WASH AWAY!!!

RAPIDS!!!

The floods raged on as the streets were submerged by the fearsome rapids.

Debris was being washed away as the water was high enough to create waves that slammed and smashed into buildings, compromising their stability as anything that wasn't firmly planted into the ground was swept away without effort.

All who were below before that point in time which DIO decided to make the east sector the second coming of Atlantis, we're now either fighting for their lives in currents powerful enough to destroy houses or mangled bodies slamming and dismembering in their watery graves, succumbing to drowning.

"AHH!"

SPLASH!

A Leanbox soldier screamed part of the neutralization team sent by the army to take out the controlled citizens screamed as he was washed away.

"Save us, Lord DIO!"

SHATTER!

Some mind-controlled citizens yelled as they were swept down a street before being smashed into a wall, into a shop window.

SURF!

And a Honda Civic somehow found its way on a piece of roof, blasting music from the 90s as it surfed for dear mechanical life.

"Gas, gas, gas, I'm gonna step on the gas!Tonight I'll fly, and be your lover! Yeah, yeah, yeah, I'll be so quick as a flash! And I'll be your hero!" The bass boosted music blared as the very water below it reverberated as it memed on into the distance.

But the most eye-catching thing that was happening so far, is the main reason why a quarter of Leanbox was now an extended branch of Ocean World, was Kars and DIO brawling in the waters with the same ferocity as before.

Under the sea~

STAND BARRAGE!

GUARD!!!

The World tried to bludgeon the alien with its fists, but only a few hits were landing at that point due to Kars starting to realize and adapt to what was attacking him, reducing the total damage being dealt by the phantom.

JET!!!

DEFLECT!-

BIFF!

DIO suddenly teleported behind him before blasting him with an SRSE beam, only for it to be deflected by Kars' bone blade as he was struck in the back of the head by the stand whilst distracted immediately after.

JET BARRAGE!!!

STAND BARRAGE!!!

He and The World then barraged the vampire, the bloodsucker rapidly firing his SRSE beams in succession, the beams becoming magenta and black as they moved above Mach 10,000 as they targeted different areas to misdirect the alien as his stand doled out fist after first from the flank.

SHAPESHIFT!

Kars was being knocked around in the smackdown sandwich that was the vampire and the invisible force but soon had enough shapeshifting once again.

PUNCH!-

WRAP!!!

He had turned himself into an electric eel, an electrophorus voltai that measured several meters as he managed to wrap around DIO's arm during a punch, before his other arm, his torso, legs, and restrained him in a powerful grip.

'Nani?' DIO thought as he tried to attack but was soon caught in the bind as he began to struggle.

'He thinks he can restrain me, as a bloody eel? It's useless! MUDA MUDA!!!'

FLEX!!!

The invader thought as he began to force himself out of the hold, his superior strength getting him out of the tight spot.

The World even helped its master as the vampire commanded it to rip off Kars from his body, the eel feeling pressure on its body as the stand got ready to rip him apart.

ELECTROCUTE!!!

But as both were vying to forcefully remove him, Kars sent a brutal shock, millions upon millions of volts being sent through DIO as the vampire let out a gargling bloodcurdling scream as he was caught completely off guard.

"GAAAAAAAAH!"

CONSTRICT!

The invader screeched as his stand flinched from the sheer pain alone his master felt as Kars squeezed the highlights out of the vampire as his agony left him completely open.

SLAM!

The two of them were then suddenly smashed by a stop sign, that hit the vampire in the back of the head before he was snapped back into the fight and grit his teeth, braving through the pain.

"AAAARG...!" DIO's eyes looked down to the eel as the static was visible from the sheer amount of voltage it was giving off as his eyes were bloodshot from the sheer pain he was going through.

FEAR BURST!!!

DISMEMBER!!!

SPLASH!!!

He then finally flexed out of the eel, Kars breaking into many pieces as he yelled, a burst of fear energy pushing the water away as he flawed his energy.

DIO then floated in the pocket he had created, still darting his eyes for the remains of Kars since he had learned based on previous experience.

"Where is that crafty bastard?!" The silver-haired bloodsucker growled as his body was still stinging from the attack.

FALL!!!...

CRASH!!!

SPLASH!!!

His call was answered as the water began to fall back into the pocket created, and along with it, hundreds of red-bellied piranhas that had a taste for blood, using Kars' red substance for that needed bloodlust as the frenzied fish snapped towards him.

DOUBLE BARRAGE!!!

"Tch!" The vampire spat before he and the World focused their efforts on swatting away the group of enemies, each of their blows sending a carnivorous fish into the water as a bloody chunk as they made quick work of the school.

SWIM!!!

OPEN!-

Their efforts managed to reduce the population of piranhas to blood, but DIO was not aware of the great white that was behind him as it rushed him with its mouth wide open as it was about to sever his top half from his bottom half.

FLOAT!!!

GRAB!

But his stand had some self-preservation within it as it rushed to the shark and kept its mouth open by grabbing it and preventing it from shutting it.

"!"

BIFURCATE!

BLEED!

DIO turned to see the great white in the process of trying to crunch him apart before commanding The World to rip it apart, the phantom doing so without question as the water was stained red once more as the shark was ripped apart.

TOSS!

The vampire grinned as the shark had been defeated as its halves sped by him and The World as they were flung back.

REGENERATE!

REVERT!

UPWARD SLICE!!!

But the shark soon pieced itself back together as Kars reverted to his human form behind the vampire before slicing DIO in half with one clean uppercut, his bone blade divorcing his left side from his right without error.

SEPARATE!

DIO's smile was cut short (literally) as he felt his vision be split before he was set apart by the currents. The World faded as it took massive amounts of damage from the attack, spewing the same blood before being absorbed into DIO.

GRAB!!!

TWIRL!!!

THROW!

EMERGE!

Kars sniggered before taking out his hands and grabbing the severed feet of DIO before sending them flying as they were thrown out of the water and into the air.

SWIM!!!

SPLASH!

TWIST!-

Kars then swam from the water himself before breaking through, his entire body splashing through until his finger was the last thing in the water from his position or twisting around as he emerged.

And with his finger, he froze the entire flow of the water, from the raging waves that spearheaded the destruction's damage-dealing at the front, to the advancing mass of water that was still behind them at the explosion site.

"Freeze!"

FREEZE!!!

His finger even glowed a light blue as he concentrated his magic ability on it, saying a beginner spell as he did so.

The water became a crystalline ice platform as the waves became stagnant, down to the splash of water that his finger was going to make.

LAND!

SKATE...!

Kars landed on the ice as he slid a bit before stopping.

The severed halves of DIO came down from the sky as they had been affected by the ice Kars secretly used a slow working ice spell to immobilize the vampire while he stagnated the battlefield.

The alien looked at the pieces as he spoke to himself.

"Looks like that Hibernation spell did the trick."

FREEZE...!

The alien noted as he looked at the almost frozen pieces of DIO, the ice slowly covering the rest of his body from his feet to his neck.

"I believe this has gone long enough, no? You've been unable to deal any decent damage and frankly, you're beginning to bore me."

HAMON!!!

The Ultimate Life Form started as his hand became supercharged with Hamon.

DIO's eyes widened as he saw he was once again between a rock and a hard place. His hard place being an ice cocoon.

FLEX!!!

SHATTER!

He quickly flared his fear energy as he broke out of the cold prison he found himself in as he grunted.

"!!!"

STRETCH!!!

Kars noticed this and immediately went for the kill.

REJOIN!

SMASH!!!

DIO would have been done for if either one of the halves of his brain had been destroyed, due to his regenerative capabilities being improved but still was powerless in the face of someone with Hamon as disgustingly powerful as the man before him.

Just as the alien's hands smashed into the ice where his left side occupied, the force sending the now whole DIO rolling as he slammed into the side of a wall before pulling himself up using a window ledge since they were at least a story high due to the water's height before it was frozen.

"Shit!"

SLAM!!!-

GRAB!...

The vampire yelled as he crashed into the wall, recoiling off the surface before grabbing the ledge as he pulled himself up to face the pillar man with a snarl.

"Damn you!"

SUMMON!

DIO yelled as The World was manifested once again.

"So you do have a few tricks up your sleeve still. Well, what's torturing you for a few more hours? Even if we fight for the rest of the night, the sun's eventual rise will finish the job, even if I rather you died from my own two hands."

RETRACT!

Kars retracted his hands as he turned to face the vampire.

"You're an imbecile if you think I'll let you live that long after the humiliation you've put me through!" DIO screamed before sending The World to attack the alien, using his stand that was somewhat still an element of surprise as it approached Kars.

"Haha! Your words of intimidation are as futile as your ability to defeat me if you think that you have what it takes to defeat me-"

BFFT!

KICK!!!

The Ultimate Life Form was cut short of his battle banter as the dark stand sent a high kick that forcibly shut his jaw as he staggered back.

BLOCK!-

BFFT!

ELBOW!!!

Kars immediately went to block the next incoming strike before he was elbowed in the center of his spine as he skidded forward.

STAND COMBO!!!

The alien then tried to guard against his flank but was clocked from his right as the World began with a left hook, before continuing with a knee to the right side of his face, before axe handling his shoulder, throat punching the Ultimate Life Form before sweeping him with a kick and grabbing his face before slamming it into the ground, shattering the ice, even more, creating a crater as ice shards flew.

The stand has stopped time before each blow to instantly attack Kars, giving him no reaction time to even register defending himself.

"Urk!"

STAND BARRAGE!!!

Kars grunted as his head was slammed into the ground, before being pummeled into the ground by The World as he was dug deeper into the ice hole by the power of its punches.

BLOCK!!!

Kars then found the time to block as the attacks were now focused into one spot, his arms mitigating most of the damage.

'He's finally beginning to improve his act. But it's far from ENOUGH!' Kars' eyes widened as he channeled Hamon into his legs before bending them, DIO recognizing what he was aboutt to do.

'He's going to...!'

REEL!-

KICK!!!

GASH!

He cut himself off as he pulled The World away before he received a nasty gash on his chin from the near-miss that he made, Kars double heel kicking and scratching The World's face.

GASH!

The damage was reflected in DIO as his chin was cut the same way.

HAMON!!!

STRETCH!!!

Kars then jumped out of the hole, his hand sparking with Hamon as he attempted to strike down DIO with it.

BFFT!

SHATTER!

But the vampire teleported right before he punched through the window, and into the building itself.

JET!!

CRASH!!!

DEFLECT!

DIO reappeared at the side of Kars, his eyes glowing as he readied to fire another SRSE at the Ultimate Life Form. But Kars sensed his presence beside him and dragged his hand through the building, his arm reaching the beam as it fired, his bone blade deflecting it once again.

TWIST!!!

BLOCK!-

SHOCKWAVE!

Kars then retracted his arm as he looked to a smiling DIO, which then prompted him to immediately turn around and block what would have been a roundhouse kick to the back of his head.

SKID!!!

JET!!!

Kars held his ground before being overpowered by the force, being pushed into DIO who had a fear-enhanced SRSE ready for him.

"?!"

TWIRL!!!

DEFLECT!

EXPLOSION!!!

TWIRL!-

Kars noticed the high pitch screech that e along with either beam's emission and worked l suit as he reflected it with his bone blade by twirling before repeating the action to attempt to slam his fist into the side of DIO's skull.

BLOCK!!!-

SHOCKWAVE!!!

The World quickly came to his master's side and blocked the attack as the two created another shockwave before the ice cracked again from their sheer power.

"You seem to be doing significantly better than before! Perhaps you've been holding out?" Kars raised a slender brow as DIO responded.

"Maybe so. Or maybe you're finally starting to SLIP!"

FEAR ENERGY!

PUNCH!

The bloodsucker roared as he started to attack the alien with his fists, costing them in fear energy as his proficiency in it increased.

HAMON!!!

FIST!

Kars felt the unnerving sensation of his fist as it was identical to the large beam from before. He coated his body in Hamon as he went to counter it with a fist of his own.

BOOM!

DISSIPATE!

The two of their fists collided in a mini shockwave the fear energy is away at the Hamon before it brightened and pushed the dark energy back as the two energies dissipated as a result, canceling each other out.

JAB!-

BLOCK!

DISSIPATE!

Kars was shocked at the outcome of the blow, so much so that he almost didn't reciprocate another one that aimed for his throat with a block.

BAK-BAK-BAK-BAK-BAK-BAK-BAK-BAK BAK-BAK-BAK-BAK-BAK-BAK-BAK-BAK BAK-BAK-BAK-BAK-BAK-BAK-BAK-BAK BAK-BAK-BAK-BAK-BAK-BAK-BAK-BAK BAK-BAK-BAK-BAK-BAK-BAK-BAK-BAK BAK-BAK-BAK-BAK-BAK-BAK-BAK-BAK!!!

The two of them then traded blows as they slid on the ice their fists becoming blurs as DIO's speed began to increase as his energy's influence on his body took effect.

Kars noticed this spike in speed as he began to block slightly more than usual as DIO sprouted his catchphrase.

STAND BLITZ!!!

FEAR BARRAGE!

These exchange of blows was made even more hectic as The World began to join the fray, throwing incredibly fast yet weakened punches that clipped Kars as its speed exceeded even his as he powered through the pain to make sure DIO's fear coated fists did not land directly on him

SHAPESHIFT!

'This is getting troublesome.' Kars noted as he regained the fur and markings of a cheetah as his eyes became that of a peregrine falcon, his nails growing to resemble that of a tiger's.

SHOCKWAVES!

He then began to overpower DIO with his own increased speeds reaction time and claws as he offhandedly clashed with The World as he slowly began to adapt and perceive the phantom punches.

Their nose making was loud enough for even an aerial trio to hear as they approached them, looking at the path of destruction that DIO's attack left.

"That's a huge bitch." AL commented as he saw the crater that spanned several blocks wide and probably cut through ten times as many buildings as it was still smoldering from the heat.

"Those two have truly caused more destruction and death than we could have prepared for," Cave admitted as she looked at the result of their confrontation.

"And not only that but look!" Blinx pointed down as the two humans looked to where he was pointing.

Ice had been spread throughout a major part of the roads as it looked like what would happen if you poured a gallon of water into an ant hole before leaving it in the freezer for the night.

That analogy was ever more present as the fire user could sense the people below them either trapped or somewhere on the ice itself as he was able to see some of the above and confined within its cold captivity.

"Ice?! But how?" Cave asked herself. Her features became hardened as she racked her brain for an answer.

"Domio's back at the convoy, so it couldn't be him so who else? The big bad himself?" Blox asked as he too gained an analytical expression.

"DIO does possess the capabilities to freeze his opponents but I don't think flood water categorizes as a person. I'd have to say Kars is somehow behind this, but I'd wait until we meet them to ask questions."

RAPID SHOCKWAVES!

AL told the others as the shockwaves were heard.

"I suppose you mean those two?" Cave pointed towards the battling Kars and DIO as AL's eyes nearly bulged out of their sockets from the intensity of their blows as well as the energy he sensed from DIO.

"Oh fuck." AL harshly swore as he saw the two go at it, tooth and nail. He was outclassed without a doubt. He really would have to use the Satsui no Hado.

"What's the matter?"

LAND!

The time cat asked as AL soon found a stable building to land on top of before placing Cave down as Blinx hopped from his back to the rooftop.

"Yeah, uh... You guys aren't gonna be able to do jack to DIO now." The martial artist cringed as they became shocked.

"What?!" Cave and Blinx exclaimed as AL quickly explained himself.

"Let me explain. DIO is starting to tap into some will-eroding levels of fear energy as we speak. And this type of energy has the nasty habit of negating any weaker attack than it. And not to call you guys weak but... Yeah, this isn't gonna end well if we try to fight him at our current states." The martial artist admitted their shortcoming in power as the temporal cat spoke next.

"Then what was the point of bringing us if we were gonna add nothing to the fight!" The cat asked a good question.

"To rescue any soldiers trapped under the ice or stuck on it. You two are good for the job now that I think about it since you guys can evade pretty well, taking your abilities into account. Added with the fact that you know where the base is, it shouldn't be too hard. Now go. I'll try to buy as much time as I can for you two to do that while I conduct business." AL started as Cave mentioned the citizens.

"And what about the civilians? Just leave them?" She asked.

"They might be still mind-controlled. If you can, try to incapacitate and bring them along but if they become too rabid to handle, just leave them be." The fire user instructed as he hopped over the edge of the building.

"Adios."

HOP!

FLIP!

BOOST!

DASH!!!...

The martial artist said before running down the building and stepping off of it into a front flip before kicking to his left as an explosion of fire propelled him to the right as he twisted before landing and running as fast as he could to the fight.

"Well, you heard the guy. Time for some support."

LEAP!

Blinx said before springing off the roof onto another one as his cat-like agility helped him move around quickly to scout for trapped soldiers.

"Indeed. I hoped to repay DIO for what he has done but if what AL says is true, staying in the background waiting for an opportune time to strike may be more effective."

JUMP!!!

The redhead planned before jumping off the building and onto the ice to search for ice.

AL was running at his top speed, but wouldn't be able to reach the two anytime soon.

He then flared his flames on his back and calves as his speed increased to Mach 60, but only began to marginally close in on Kars and DIO as he thought to himself.

'I'm slower than them too... Damn, was I really this weak the entire time? This bottleneck is costing me and I'm not even fighting yet!'

BOOST!!!

WOOSH!

The martial artist growled before putting his hands behind him and blasting flames from his palms for a needed speed boost as he leaned forward.

Seventy was the number he was at in Mach as he noticed slowly approaching them, but. couldn't increase his speed anymore as he had no more limbs to utilize.

"Damnit! I'm still too slow!"

BOOM!!!

LEAP!

AL snarled before leaping ahead with a burst of flames as he spiked to Mach 80 before quickly losing speed due to drag as he deactivated his flames.

ZOOM!!!

He then fired two beams of KI from his feet as he figured that using his energy would be much more effective than using his flames since they were faster.

And he was right as he zoomed to well over Mach 100 from two casual blasts.

"Now that's what I'm talking about! And just for the extra boost... Hah!" The martial artist stretched out his arms before using them to boost himself ahead as well, the vibrant flames emerging from his entire arm length as Mach 200 was the next point in speed for the dark-skinned warrior.

VOOM!!!

AL soon caught up to the two brawling otherworlders as he saw them exchange blows that he couldn't even see, only shockwaves in their connecting points.

SHOCKWAVES!

"Dayum. Looks like I'll have to cut that short you two." AL spoke before opening his mouth as a beam of reddish KI was formed in front of his mouth as he yelled.

"RAAH!"

BLAST!!!

He yelled as the beam escaped his mouth as the two below him looked to see the attack before throwing a super punch to separate themselves and avoid the attack via the recoil in one large shockwave.

"!!!"

SHOCKWAVE!

SKID!!!

EXPLOSION!!!

DIO and Kars looked at the attack before clashing and evading it.

The two of them stopped themselves as smoke exploded from the site of the explosion.

HALT!

DESCEND!...

AL stopped himself as he descended, using the flames to make his descent smooth and dramatic, the fires beneath his feet flaring as he touched down, melting the ice as he maintained his thrust.

"You!" The two contenders shouted at the same time, DIO with an ugly snarl as he bared his fangs whilst Kars showed some surprise due to the remembrance of his presence in Lowee as he recognized his face.

They then turned to each other as they asked.

"Wait, you know him?" They questioned each other. The perplexity of the situation was subverted as AL ended the chapter with a one-liner.

"Uh oh! Here comes a new challenger." He referenced a popular fighting game before moving forward a bit as he touched down on the ice.

Another chapter down! And this one was in the chamber before it was supposed to come out!

Tensions are rising as AL confronts the man behind the slaughter and the Ultimate Life Form for what could be a battle that threatens the city in its entirety if not the island itself!

Meanwhile, Cave and Blinx scout out any trapped civilians for what could be a fight that shakes the battlefield to its core, disrupting even the furthest of outskirts on Leanbox!

And with Nebula and the others on the sidelines, as Vergo and Gros are still nowhere to be found, it's up to AL to not only stall, but also find out if Kars is with him or against him!

And also I miss canon, so expect this to be wrapped up by the early to mid-40s in the chapter count. As much as I hate to say it, it's starting to drag out a bit. But that doesn't mean that things still can't be interesting!
