Motionless at the bottom of the lake, currently submerged and his hair and clothes drenched and floating, Domio was completely still. Grey and under his eyes as his features were growing pale with each passing moment.
His blood rising from his wounds, especially the fatal stab wound that was in his chest, he was not far from the clutches of death as his demise drew closer by the second, be it from drowning or blood loss.
The Loweean's eyes were closed as he awaited the life to slip away from his body, unable to muster the strength to rise from his fate.
'I'm sorry... I wasn't strong enough... Everyone...' Lamented the boy, sure that he'd meet his end soon.
Before the last fibers of life departed from his body, the necklace that held the star at its center, which was resting on his most grievous wound, began to react.
...GLOW!
It was slightly chipped from the blade that stabbed the boy but mostly fine. Its frame managed to lodge itself into the wound, before fading into it as pure mana as its starry shape dissolved into yellow SP concentrate.
Seeping into his body, all of his lesser injuries soon glowed in the same manner as the liquid that entered inside his injuries. As a result, said wounds started to close as the blood surrounding it was brought into the place where it left Domio's body.
RISE...!
SHINE!-
ENGULF!
This inadvertently caused the boy's body to float from the effects as magical streams of energy poured from his chest and formed a sphere that engulfed his entire body, illuminating the seafloor as it became a spectacle with the light reaching far into the depths of the ocean.
'...Oi.' A voice reached out to the fading ice user. Its tone was aggressive, and non-welcoming for the most part.
'...Huh?...' Responded the boy as he was still too weak to move much, although being able to think coherently was a step above where he was last.
'I said wake up, you little shit.' Affirmed the voice as what was a weakly wincing expression, became confusion.
'...What the...' This perplexing feeling was described in the form of an incomplete sentence as the voice continued.
'If you want, I can just leave you to die. Kind of fitting for a little bitch like you-'
'Why do you sound like my uncle?... Oh, no. I think I'm in the other place.' Assuming he'd been subjected to eternal damnation, he was wary of what the talking voice that eerily sounded like the man who made his life feel like the place he thought he was.
'No, you're still alive, you retard. Now do you want to get out of this mess, or are you gonna lie in your filth just like the rat that smoked you?' Asked the voice that mimicked Hyuzu.
'I'd like it best if you stopped talking, to be honest.' Still somewhat afraid to directly snap back at his uncle's voice, he passive-aggressively told him to shut up.
'No. I don't think I will, spineless brat.' It retorted, causing a visible grimace on the boy's face.
'You're better off dead if you think a child born from a broken condom and can't say a sentence without stuttering is gonna tell me to pipe down.' Hyuzu's audial doppelganger verbally attacked the child, to his annoyance.
'Just tell me why you're here then!...' Shouted the boy, his voice cracking from the hurt that he felt, being dogged on even in limbo.
'That necklace. It has the ability to grant invincibility to its user for a certain duration but requires intense emotion to maintain as well as activate. I can dumb it down for you if you want, Dumbo.' A dreaded nickname made its way to the boy's ears as his emotional state took a turn.
'I'm not stupid! You can explain normally!' He chided the voice, the nickname triggering a new emotion.
'That's the spirit, D-D-D-D-Domio! If you want that power, act like it, bitch!' In a surreal and surprising twist, laced with an insulting spin on his name, the voice pushed him in the direction he needed to go.
'Grr! Why did you come back!? I thought you got incarcerated!' His features morphing into an uncomfortable grimace, the Loweean interrogated the voice inside his head.
'I did. Well, the voice you're hearing right now did.' Answering the preteen, he ended up clearing no confusion.
'Normally, my previous users utilized more positive emotions to trigger their power, like happiness. But what I've seen over your life experiences, is that your mind responds more to... Aggravation.' A serious and echoing tone escaped the voice as Domio shuddered at the stereo that the voice of his uncle used.
'So that's why I sound like your uncle. Because you can't move past your uncle's perpetual and torturous abuse. But that's something you'll never get past, is it?' Hyuzu's voice became within his character once more as he laughed.
'I wouldn't be surprised if you croaked right now. You couldn't even beat me without your friends! And you're alone and sunk like a ship! To think my bastard child of a nephew was felled by fucking rat of all things!'
...SHINE...!
Mocked the voice as the boy's face shifted from interest back to annoyance as his body gained a faint glow.
'If I wanted to make you feel like shit, I should have just thrown you in the dumpster like the piece of shit you were! You'd have died off YEARS ago! HAHAHAHAHA! Dominic could finally rest in piss knowing his lineage followed in his footsteps! Rat father and rabies succumbed son!'
AURA!
GLOW!
Wheezing in maddening laughter, the aura that collected around his body became more prominent as Domio responded.
'DON'T TALK ABOUT DAD LIKE THAT!' Seethed the boy, he could not stand the thought of his uncle practically spitting on his father's grave.
'OR WHAT!? YOU'LL DIE?! GO AHEAD! TELL HIM I SAID THAT HE SHOULD'VE BUSTED IN YOUR MOTHER'S MOUTH!-'
"!"
The mage's eyes opened, and their color shifted from the icy blue that was the influence of his SP, into a sporadic kaleidoscope of colors that shifted from a faded pink to a light yellow, to pastel green, to baby blue, before repeating in that order with white in between each color change.
SHINE!
RIPPLE!
RIPPLE!
RIPPLE!
This process was repeated in the sphere that contained the boy as it too cycled through these colors as several pulses of force were ejected into the depths of the water.
Meanwhile, the rat agent was still laughing his ass off attempting to find a malignant chortle that fit his style.
"Nyehehehehahahahaha!" Finally finding something that wasn't completely corny, obnoxious, edgy, or downright stupid, the furry found genuine happiness in the little exercise that he gave himself to do, and its completion since he gained a new signature laugh from said dabble.
"Finally, a good laugh!" Celebrated the anthropomorphic rodent. "For the amount of shit I've been through, I really needed that." Introspection crossed the mutant's mind as he kept his smirk from the last time he spent cackling.
"Now... Time to get back to work." He gained a smug look that mixed with a sense of determination to do his job, as it was one of the few things he still idolized in his life.
RIPPLE...!
The water around his frozen platform rippled from underneath the place he last saw the boy as a ring distinguishable from even the ocean currents could be seen and felt as if the ice that he stood on shook on the surface of the water.
WAVES!
These ripples developed into small waves that were easily identifiable from the water's usual path, going to the extent of overpowering the current as slowly became the only thing that was visible on its surface as Warechu observed this phenomenon.
"What's going on, chu?" Asked the mutant, unsure of what was unfurling before him.
CRASH!
SPLASH!
W-WOBBLE!-
"Ack!" His platform became unstable due to the increase of magnitude from whatever was causing the sea to act in such a manner. The waves became violent and powerful as they smashed into his platform, chipping it quickly with little room left to stand on.
"Something's not right here...! But I killed that chump, so how-"
SPROUT!
Spreading his wings, he prepared himself to take off after seeing a massive ten-meter wave approach him, with the momentum to crash into and completely submerge him.
JUMP!
SPLASH!-
EMERGE!
Just as the bio-weapon-enhanced rodent made his jump, the wave crashed right after. But that ended up masking the emergence of another figure, who exploded off of the water's surface in a rush of speed.
So much so, that the ASIC member's ears barely picked up the noise amidst all of the water around him due to his further enhanced sense of hearing.
Looking down after hearing the minuscule sound of water being broken, his gaze peered down for just a moment.
SMASH!
SHOCKWAVE!-
ZOOM!
The sound of pain could not even leave the rat's mouth, his teeth being struck shut by a fist that he could not even see, sending him soaring as his chin was flattened into a bloody mess by the hit. Pain overloaded his senses as he shut his eyes with the shockwave deafening his ears for a moment as the ring of silence and the numbing pain were all he felt for several moments.
LAND!-
FREEZE!
Touching the surface of the water with his feet, his mere contact froze the entire immediate area, with the array of large waves stuck in place with the very surroundings slowly forming most from the coldness of the temperature of its frozen form.
"Kids are cruel, rat." A deeper voice layered over the boy's usual pitch, making it reverberate in a double layer fashion as he stood tall, the sea for as far as the boy could see nothing but ice, as a good chunk of the coast was now frigid.
CROUCH!-
FISSURE!...
"And unfortunately for you, I'm not only very in touch with my inner child- I am a child!" His stuttering was gone, something the rat didn't notice at first but could hear the forced beginning of his sentences dissipating as he looked down, seeing his brown hair flowing from his seeming endless surge of SP empowering him.
"So you know what that means...!"
R-R-RUMBLE!
AURA!...
While his clothes were still torn, his body was in perfect condition as his eyes shifted through the colors faster due to him exerting his energy in the form of an unstable rainbow aura that rolled off of him in waves as he spoke. The ice shook asunder his newfound power as Domio reeled back as his arms were brought parallel to the ground with zero regards for the thoughts of others in terms of how he looked.
"I'M FUCKIN' INVINCIBLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!"
SHOCKWAVES!
SHATTER!
GUST!
PILLAR!...
Shockwaves were projected from his voice as the Loweean's scream was transformed into a deafening roar, unconsciously releasing a reckless bastardization of the Hellish Holler technique, the ice he made shatter in the form of fragments from the waves being ripped from their foundations and shooting into the air, towards the rat in an impromptu AOE. Winds were projected from his screaming state and rushed from all directions that weren't the ground as his aura shot up into the air as it acted as a flamboyant beacon of sorts, anyone who was looking for it being able to see it with no room for mistake, and those who weren't being able to if they just caught it in their vision.
And that was if they couldn't sense magic or its energetic equivalent.
"Shit, chu!"
GUARD!
SCRAPE!-
CUT!-
SLICE!-
Like a red sun over paradise, Warechu's head quite literally set behind his arms as he cross-guarded, his wings curling around him as a half-complete cocoon to guard the shards that raced towards him. It didn't come without consequence as his wings took moderate damage, some larger fragments cutting right through the mutant's wing membrane completely.
He endured this grueling sensation before spreading his wings once more, as his hands stretched from either side to stabilize the rat's body. Multiple holes littered the mutant's wings as he was reeling from the flurry of fragments that just assaulted him from out of nowhere.
He concentrated as the wounds on his wings healed with the power of his regeneration, before focusing on the boy's position.
"If you're 'fuckin' invincible', then how come I still see you!?" Barked the rodent, maintaining a false sense of bravado in the situation he currently found himself in, wondering if faking it until he made it was the way to go about this unforeseen turn of events.
In return, Domio simply waved his hand in front of his face, mimicking the iconic meme that originated from the famous wrestler himself as he shot a dangerous grin at the ASIC experiment.
VANISH!
BOOM!
SUBMERGE!-
SPLASH!...
The large platform of ice that the Loweean stood on was pushed to the seafloor before shattering completely as the water below it was pushed to the side as it rose from the force used on it, the reason for this vanishing in mere moments. What was left in his burst of speed, was a hole that revealed dry ground as the rat's eyes bugged out of their sockets for witnessing the seafloor from above sea level for the first time.
PAT!
FREEZE!-
"!"
"Hallo."
Feeling a hand touch his shoulder, half his body was subject to frigid imprisonment as he was now in a cold bind with the rainbow boy behind him, as he adopted a mocking smirk, its presence so felt that even the half refrigerated mutant felt the intent of it as he stayed stationary.
"I always wondered how a rat could have wings. Seems out of place, like if it were going against evolution."
CRACK!...
Commented the boy as he gripped the wing, cracking the ice from his immense magically enhanced strength.
"E-E-Evolve d-deez n-n-nuts...!" Retorted the rat as he shivered from the temperature drop.
"No. That goes against the RULES OF NATURE!"
ELBOW!
SHATTER!
PLUMMET!
"Argh!" Screamed the rat mutant as he was freed from his icy confinement, at the cost of his shoulder being dislocated as well as his body tumbling in a lateral direction faster than he could adjust his eyes as the boy floated from the pressure used to send the rat flying.
"Hmm... I don't remember being able to fly."
He looked down. The ocean looked really big, even from up there. And the water was starting to look darker, meaning deep water awaited him.
"That's a big fall."
FALL!
"Oh, Scheiße!" Shouted the boy as he plummeted after the rodent as he flailed instinctively from not knowing what to do and devolving into a panic.
As the two fell, Warechu managed to shift his shoulder back into place as he grabbed the hilt of his blade before aiming it at the flailing boy.
"Invincible my ass!"
EXTEND!-
CHILL!...
DODGE!
Domio ceased his sporadic movement when he felt the impending danger approach him in the form of his danger sense as he moved out of the way, before rolling as he tucked his arms to increase his falling speed to approach his rodent target.
DIVE!
GRAB!-
BOOM!
Balling up the trench of the ASIC member, a blitzing punch released a shockwave as the rat's head forcefully twisted to the left as his cheek turned visibly bruised as some blood flew from the exposed skin and spit that flew out his mouth mixed with blood.
SWING!
BOOM!
PUNCH!
THOOM!
KICK!-
UPPERCUT!
SHOCKWAVE!...
Warechu returned with a gut punch that did nothing but interfere with the fabric of the boy's undershirt before he retaliated with a hook to the other side of his face, as a tooth and some willpower left the rat's body as he attempted to high kick the mage's chin.
This resulted in the boy's jaw being lifted upwards to look down on the rodent mutant before sending a rising fist into his peripheral at the last second before it forcibly shut an eye and causes the evolved lab rat to falter from the recoil.
"Grr! STINKIN' CHUMP!"
PUNCH!...
STATIC!-
...PUNCH!...
ELECTRICITY!
...PUNCH!-
SHOCK!-
BARRAGE!
Throwing a punch that was stonewalled, before another that had the same effect as the prior, his attempt was actively met with a deadpan, which set off the member to relentlessly bombard the boy with thousands of fists that ranged from his abs to his forehead. Electricity flew off each strike as it was seemingly useless in actually harming the boy beyond destroying his expectations of what the next stage of their battle would be like.
"To think I was scared of you. I'm embarrassed." Face palmed the child before he acted on his embarrassment.
CLUTCH!
"Huh?"
PULL-
HEADBUTT!
"OW!" Screamed the rat in pain as his fists were grabbed before being pulled in, as his nose was smashed in by the boy's forehead that he failed to injure, in a worrisome twist ended up injuring him as he was sent reeling back because of the hit.
STEP!...
Pulling his legs up, he positioned them to rest on the chest of the rat as they neared the ocean surface.
The lab rat wasn't just going to sit there and let it stand, so he attempted to electrocute his opponent.
SHOCK!
"... It's quite shocking that your shocking doesn't do any shocking." The ice wizard articulated as the rat growled back at him.
"Then you'll be stunned when I-"
FREEZE!-
CRASH!-
SMASH!-
SHATTER!
SOMERSAULTS!...
Interruption was apparent as the mutant's words were cut with his back making contact with the water, which the mage used his body as a medium to freeze the water behind him before the force at which he landed not only cracked but utterly decimated the sheet of frost forming underneath the furry's body.
In fact, the maneuver created a ring of ice that expanded due to its creation being halted as it mimicked a pulsing ripple rather than a flat-out spread of cold. Spring boarding off the struck rodent was also something the boy did as he tucked in and flipped multiple times off of the body of the rodent as it was pushed into the water.
"I need something that'll keep me from ending up like that jerk." Spoke the child as he ascended.
He recalled grabbing the bat wing that the rat used to pull him away from the group he was with, as well as an aerial advantage that he alone possessed.
Well, that rat was gonna learn how to share after what Domio would do next.
"The tome I got wasn't really all that specific with a lot of things, but if that guy with the white hair and ice dragon sword could do it, so can I!" Some ascertaining his next action with inspiration from one of the shows he watched came to mind as he focused.
MAGIC CIRCLE!
FREEZE!
"Yeesh!" Yelped the multi-colored mister.
A magical circle was summoned on his spine as it expanded from his back before he felt a frigid sensation from his back, making the Loweean jolt from the drop in body temperature.
Sprouting out of his back, devoid of blood due to the status of being FUCKIN' INVINCIBLE- two icy geometric rods that were pointed at the end as they were angular, creating a hook of sorts which could have been estimated to be around nine feet in wingspan.
FREEZE!...
FREEZE!...
Flat-sided stalactites grow from the underside of the rods in the form of kites as seven the geometric shape appeared on each side that was around three feet in length and a foot in width.
SHINE...!
Each ice crystal that was formed suddenly shined a color of the rainbow, with red being the closest, and the furthest away on the crystal order, with the other colors being orange, yellow, green, indigo, and violet.
ALTERNATE!
And to boot, the colors periodically shifted to each ice kite, creating a mesmerizing effect akin to a gaming setup. Either that or somebody who was her.
Who? Knows. Something about a basement and being blonde. Probably ate a bad apple.
HALT!
"It feels cold... Really cold! But at least I don't have to deal with that water." Voted the child as he levitated, his ascent abruptly stopping as his wings absorbed the overflowing amounts of SP and converted it into a fuel source. Provided it would have been finite usually, thanks to the necklace that limitation was but a fading memory.
SPLASH!
EXTEND!
From the corner of the boy's eye, he witnessed the return of the bio-blade as it honed in towards his position.
CHILL!
"Ah!"
FLY!
Moving his body to the left as his wings pulled Domio's frame to the side, he narrowly dodged the attack.
"I see!"
GLOW!-...
FREEZE!
He commented before freezing his arm solid, conjuring an ice gauntlet within his grasp. It glowed a messy pulse of colors before materializing as the same arm with some new details, such as the knuckles having gems of red, orange, yellow, green, and blue with a purple one on the back of his hand alongside a rainbow design being the trimming of the mouth and fingertips.
SPLOOSH!
ZOOM!
RETRACT!
Warechu, now soaked from the water rushed as he closed the distance and contracted his blade to make it seem that the tip wasn't moving, nearing the mage.
SWING!-
BLOCK!
"You deny your blade its purpose!" Domio told the ASIC experiment as he quickly retorted.
"Which is?" Answered the rodent mutant with some hostility in his voice.
"You're under the impression...!"
GLOW!-
FREEZE!
"IT DOES SOMETHING!"
BLOCK!-
BOOM!
"UAK!" Guttered the mutated member as Domio's ice fist managed to not only stand in his sword's way but minimize the length of the blade completely which effectively left him open for a heavy shot with his other arm that he froze mid-sentence to the chest as he wheezed immediately after.
WHOOSH!
ZOOM!
STREAK...!
Catapulting the grunt's body was a light way of putting it as Warechu had to concentrate to regenerate the damage done to him in that one hit as he tumbled through the air. It was extremely painful to bear and even more so to internalize he was getting his ass handed to him by a kid that was sleeping with the fishes not too long ago.
Meanwhile, the lad of Lowee moved forward with his wings, the magical nature of the appendages leaving multi-colored streaks of energy behind his path as upbeat music from his country's hero's racing series.
PUNCH! SMASH! HOOK! JAB! JAB! CROSS! POW! WHAM! SLAM! BIFF! BOOM!-
SLEDGEHAMMER!
Reaching the rat, a fist doled itself unto the jaw of the ASIC furry before one from the opposite direction struck him again before a hook sent his head flying back, but a couple of jabs to the midsection brought it back just to be lurched by a powerful cross to the gut right next to an uppercut to the jugular before elbowing the solar plexus with obscene force as he raised his forearm to smack the back of his fist into the lab rat's face before clasping his fists and bringing them down into the base of Warechu's nape.
RAINBOW SHOCKWAVE!
CRASH!...
The rat subject was sent to a mountain top, which promptly exploded into pieces on contact as a burst of colors occupied the place where he was hurled from in a brilliant shine of light.
ZOOM!
"Icy Fractals!"
SHARDS!
EXPLOSIONS!...
Sticking out his hands as he roared, rainbow-colored projectiles that took the form of rhombuses as they zipped ahead and decimated the remainder of the mountain as mist occupied what used to be an average-sized geological structure.
SLIDE...!
Warechu was ejected from the smoke into a slide as a hand was on the floor to balance his body before coming to a grinding stop.
Back flipping onto a branch, he fully internalized the terrifying gap between their power after his opponent became a walking seizure.
REGEN...!
"The fuck happened to this kid, chu?! One minute, he's as good as dead and the next minute, I'm facing an unstoppable force! Something definitely ain't right." Observed the rat as he worked quickly to heal the injuries he sustained, sacrificing more of his energy to keep his health above a certain level. That skirmish alone cost him a large chunk of his remaining upper trench as all but a single section of ripped fabric that was hung on his shoulder and covered some of his abdominals and the left side of his chest and shoulders.
His hand grabbed the branch to stabilize himself and lower his body to decrease his visibility. The last thing he wanted was for the boy to discover his location right now. This was the intermission needed to attempt equalization of the playing field.
PULSE...!
Closing his eyes, he generated a pulse of energy from his body with the medium being very discreet as this form of detection involved using radio waves, unseen by the human eye to spread around the area and pick up life forms at a set distance, breadth, and height. His bio-electricity was once again converted into his staggering level of electromagnetism to retrieve an account of the location of not only the boy but every other biological lifeform within a thousand-meter radius.
'I still have to do some work on this trick, but for what it's worth, my sensory abilities are something to be proud of.' Praising his radar prowess, he picked up hundreds of life signs, but one of them was airborne, and he had no doubt in his mind that the signature was the kid.
PING!...
PING!...
PING!...
Stacking sonar on top of that as well, hearing a mental ping every time the kid's position was felt, the rodent mutant now had definitive knowledge of where the brightly-colored boy was.
Knowing this, he carried out his prerogative to even the odds.
STATIC!
BZZT!
RAISE...!
Warechu's bowl-cut started to float as it became akin to a hairy umbrella, his body dancing with yellow lightning with flashes of electricity creating a corkscrew of energy.
He felt his perception of time slow down as the very static of the lightning became more deliberate and decreased in speed, alongside the other sounds near him in the natural environment he found himself in. Even so, his speed remained the same even in such an altered perception.
ELECTROCUTE!
SPIKE!...
VAPORIZE!...
The rat's hair spiked into rigid locks akin to a certain hybrid time traveler as the entire tree shared his bio-aura, every leaf raising from its stem before a surge of electricity made a flashy appearance as it raced up the tree and caused all of the leaves on its branches to simultaneously and instantly vaporize in a matter of moments, leaving only a scorched trunk in its wake.
"Han'nō no Senkō." Uttering the name of his technique, his eyes opened as his yellow iris was permanently glowing, some static making itself known before disappearing shortly after.
UPROOT!
"?!" Warechu instantly recognized his platform being moved not only from its usual position but outright off of the ground as he ascended whilst still holding onto the branch.
Looking down, he saw the blasted kid holding the tree with a casual, half-lidded look on his face as he spoke.
"Found ya. For a rat, you act like a giant pussy. And I find that gall busting. Was für ein humorvolles nagetier." He muttered something in the strange tongue before gripping the trunk with both hands.
FREEZE!-
JUMP!
The spots from where Domio's hands were making contact immediately froze and rushed up the tree, reaching its branches. But before it could catch the ASIC member, he leaped from his branch moments before it became an icy statue and soared into the air.
"Yah!"
TOSS!
"...!"
Throwing the ice tree after it was completely frozen in the rat's direction, it zoomed through the air as the ears of the mutant picked up its approach.
"Hnn!"
SWIPE!
SHATTER!
Twisting his body as he slowed, he utilized his prehensile tail to act as a flail and smash the structure into pieces. Digging into his pocket, he took out a grenade from it and imbued it with his bio-electricity.
"Right back at 'cha, chu!"
YEET!
SPARK!
The explosive had current orbiting around it as the RKG-3EM he pelted was ionized to boot. It was surely going to explode on contact without question. Though, it operated on an impact fuse, so that outcome was inevitable.
After seeing the projectile, and later recognizing the object as an explosive although unsure of its actual purpose due to seeing it lying around in Gris' lair, the wizard-in-training knew that letting it land anywhere near him was a bad idea.
"Frozen Fortitude!"
GLOW!
FREEZE!-
EXPLOSION!
BZZT!...
A grand explosion rocked the ground as the wind pushed the nearby trees without hesitation, alongside a wave of current that spread in every direction from Warechu's influence. That effect caused every tree that wasn't uprooted to be stripped of all leaves, leaving few standing trees and even fewer with leaves.
THAW!...
But as the smoke cleared, a square wall that was unfazed was revealed before it was reabsorbed into its caster.
"Verdammt... Let's try this one... Fluorescent Fragments!" A hand outstretched in posture, his wings mimicked his Icy Fractal disposition, as they separates from his body, although there was a key difference.
They had aimbot.
WOOSH!
ZIP!-
ZIP!-
ZIP!-
Warechu wasted no time taking to the sky as the colorful spikes of crystallized magic followed him. He looked up as he ascended with his wings to avoid the catastrophic crystals, the group of sharp objects hot on his heels as the boy moved his hand to make them pursue the mutant experiment.
HOP!-
JUMP!
DASH!...
RUSH!...
Springing off the ground, the mage landed on the top of a tree before dashing off of its branches and using the fragile limbs as platforms via pushing himself off of the branch with his speed before it fully registered his weight to give him the illusion of walking on thin branches.
ZIG-ZAG!
FOLLOW!
DIVE!
TRAIL!
RUSTLE!-
Moving in an unorthodox manner, the airborne rat furry tried to shake off the crystals with a plethora of maneuvers, to no avail as the solid dangers did all but approach him. Descending to the forest once more, he had hopes that making the pestering projectiles would hit adjacent objects as he utilized his increased reaction time to pull off the aforementioned feat.
FLY!...
CRASH!-
SPRINT!
Landing in the ground with a loud boom, leaving a crater in his wake, the member scrambled as the glowing spikes chased him on foot as he kept running form like an athlete to stay ahead of certain doom.
FLAP!-
CRASH!
LEAP-
TWIST!
CRYSTALIZE!
When he heard one near too close, the experimental rodent flapped his wings and pushed his body to the side to avoid one projectile which smashed tip first into a pond as the water exploded from the pressure before solidifying. Another came close, but just barely missed thanks to the increased reaction speed of the bowl-cut rat as he twirled in the air after a quick sidestep with some effort exerted caused the object to sail ahead.
SWERVE!
"!"
Seeing that the crystal he dodged swerved, the mutant made preparations to act on this turn of events, as he lowered his body as he accelerated.
HOP!
FLIP!-
CRYSTALIZE!
ZOOM!
Jumping toward the projectile, Warechu in a perfectly timed approximation managed to jump on the top of the crystal and spring off of its mass, causing it to nosedive into the ground and immediately expand into a large mass of frigid crystal. Some other wing fragments were caught in the sudden uproot of magic, but the rest that was not affected simply moved around the obstacle before continuing their pursuit.
SWING!
DEFLECT!-
SLASH!-
CRYSTAL-
SLICE!
Taking out his blade, the evading experiment swung before his sword struck the crystal. It was luckily deflected due to the factor of sheer speed, else it would've just been mitigated by the composition as seen before with the boy's ice gauntlets.
He emulated this action for another crystal, as it began to crystallize on his blade upon contact, but with a tightening of his wrist as he pushed his arm forward, the pieces were scattered as said object was cleaved in two from the force behind the bio-blade despite the odds.
GRIP!
SPARK!-
"Saidai Denryoku!"
SWING!-
ELECTRO ARC!
Grabbing the hilt of his blade, he channeled a surplus of energy into it which caused the structure of the blade to become unstable before yelling the SP Skill and swinging it in the direction of the remaining crystals as a large, expanding arc was projected from the bio-blade as it raced towards the shards.
CRYSTALIZE!
EXPLOSION!
Multiple fragments were immediately crystallized from the power the attack carried, even if they were inherently able to fly through the current, the force pushed back the objects enough to trigger the reaction of crystallization as half of the remaining wings were decommissioned from the chase as the remaining fragments became even faster.
EVADE!
HONE IN!
DODGE!
SLIDE!
CUT!-
KICK!
CRYSTALIZE!...
Jumping from branch to branch like those ninjas from that one anime, the crystals acted like the heat-seeking missiles made from magic they thought they were and persisted without fail.
He even kicked off a branch with enough strength to make it snap in two to slide through a hollow trunk to see if the spikes could follow, and they did not disappoint, unfortunately.
Nearing a tree, the mutant utilized his blade, chopping a tree down and kicking its midsection with the right amount of force to send a cylindrical chunk towards a crystal, and struck its head resulting in its downfall.
GRAB!-
THROW!
CRYSTALIZE!
SPRINT!
Slowing down, he waited until two of the shards were upon him before moving his hands so quickly that they vanished, only to reappear as they were grabbed before back flipping off the ground and throwing them toward two more incoming crystals before they crystallized simultaneously as he went into maximum overdrive to create distance between himself and the final shard.
FLASH!
STATIC!...
His speed boasted the prowess to make his figure appear as nothing more than a flash of light with traces of static left in his path as the winds roared behind him with his perception still able to let him know when to jump, slide, roll, dodge or continue forward.
ZOOM!
But the final shard also increased its speed to account for its target's boost. It shook violently from the increase of agility with its aerodynamics being pushed to the limit as both parties pushed it to the limit with the environment becoming nothing but blur and speed lines.
DASH!-
DASH!-
DASH!-
KICK-OFF!-
BOOM!
Domio's velocity accelerated to facilitate the upgrade of momentum for his singular fragment as a singular push off a branch not only toppled the tree but created an echoing burst of sound as the boy completely disappeared to match the speed of the two grounded forces as the three were locked in pursuit.
The eyes of the rat saw a boulder up ahead and created a short plan as he approached. He started to increase his speed once more as the shard did the same, the distance between them and the rock becoming closer and closer.
Before the experiment would introduce his face to the hard surface that was the mass of stone, though...
INDENT!-
RUN UP!
CRYSTALIZE!-
Raising his boot to stomp on the boulder when close enough, his foot dug into the rock before digging his shoe into the surface and pulling the rest of his body with him just as the spike's magical aura was tickling the hairs on his neck, and ended up smashing into the wall and crystallizing on contact with the furry ascending in an increment of time a blink would make one believe never existed.
"Take that, you astrology crystal fucks-"
SLAM!
'OH COME ON!' Internally raved the evolved rat as his neck was struck by a blitzing armbar as the rainbow mage was upon his location mere moments after all his shards were destroyed.
"Back in the rat race, you GO!"
TOSS!
CLUTCH!
TWIRL!-
Shoving his windpipe to push him away before grabbing his tail and taking him for a spin, his body was hurled through the sky as his form shrunk in the distance.
SPREAD!
DECELERATE...!
Using his wings, the furry decreased his speed to a halt as he grabbed his neck and felt the pain of contact, as well as the comprised jugular before working to reverse the damage with his healing factor, once more.
HEAL...!
He was starting to believe the fight was less of a skirmish and more of an endurance test thanks to that LED strobe light transformation the boy
"!..."
BLOCK!
DROPKICK!-
THOOM!
Sensing the approach of the boy, he set up the stance to tank the attack before a foot materialized in front of him before a shockwave emitted from contact as the Loweean with his wings returned in the form of glowing magic broke the bones in his enemy's forearms.
"Khh!"
CRASH!
DASH!-
EXPLODE!
His feet crashing into another mountainside, he quickly ran down the steep incline before Domio landed with a superhero landing that caused the section of the mountain where he touched down to cave in with a blast of dust before a rockslide was caused by his intervention.
ICE SPELL!
Extending a hand, the preteen began to fire at the moving target as a small blast of rainbow energy flew down the mountainside and followed the rodent.
SIDESTEP-
ICE SPELL!
ICE SPELL!
As the electrified furry hard shifted to the right, two more colorful attacks followed suit as Warechu's head swiveled back after he heard their casting.
ZIG!
ZAG!
GRAB!-
SPARK...!
After avoiding the two extra spells, another anti-tank grenade made its way into his hand before ionization occurred.
TOSS!
EXPLOSION!-
REPEL!...
Immediately as it exploded, a cloud of smoke raised from the blast zone, sending the rolling stones back up the mountain from the pressure as more were created from the blast itself, although soaring over the rat's position from the power behind the boom.
"Cold Bolt!"
MAGIC BLAST!
Using a signature skill as he withstood the rocks, a blast of magical energy in the form of a multi-colored cone of SP, sped through the smoke and made its way to Warechu's position in a matter of seconds.
JUMP!-
BOOM!
RUMBLE!...
Narrowly dodging the spell, it created an explosion at the base of the mountain which shook the entire geographical structure.
LAND!-
EXTEND!-
STAB!
"UOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH, chu!"
After landing, with a mighty yell, the rodent stuck his comically large knife into the ground as it extended as far as he could before he moved quickly.
SWING!-
CLEAVE!
CRASH!
SPREAD!...
"!" Domio wasn't hurt by the exchange, but his body was moved by the procedure as the ground he stood on, being the entire mountain alongside some of the clouds above it, was parted in an extraordinarily powerful slash as a crevice that was hundred of meters deep was also made in the ground due to the swing.
"Kumori Kiru...!" Heaved the rodent as his blade returned to its standard size. His arms smarted from their condition after putting that much energy into a large attack and subsequently failing.
APPEAR!
In a group of lines and a haphazard blur, the boy rushed to him in the span of a single instance with the rodent's perception only barely picking up the child's speed, despite his upgraded perception.
"WHAT THE FU-"
"Subzero Schneider!..."
FREEZE!-
"Denka Hīru!-"
BZZT!
CLASH!...
Freezing his foot in rainbow-coated energy, it solidified into a fitting shoe of ice as the preteen threw his leg forward. Vice versa for the furry, with the exception of his leg being covered in a coat of yellow electricity as their feet neared. A loud boom echoed as a shockwave echoed around the premises as both parties remained stagnant.
...
FRACTURE!-
DISLOCATE!...
"Did that go the way it thought you would?" A raised eyebrow from the invulnerable child mocked the decision-making process of the opponent that attempted to challenge his might.
"... I expected this, to be honest," Warechu responded, accepting he was delegated to a single foot.
FREEZE!-
SHATTER!
"Chuuuu!" Screamed the bowl-cut agent as he was kicked by a giant foot, the actual technique sending him flying through the crack he created in a sporadic twist of events.
Expected, but still sporadic.
SKID!...
BZZT!...
Sinking his fingers and shoe tips into the side of the severed rock formation as he skidded to a halt, his path sputtered with electric interference, using the electromagnetic effect of his bio-electricity to stick himself to the wall after negatively charging his fingers to a state that made his body attach itself to the wall.
'Everywhere hurts, chu... But I can't give up, not now! My job is all I have left!' He repeated his circumstances before standing on his feet.
"I'm not going to be beaten by the likes of you!"
SNAP!
STOMP!...
Stretching his leg, it put itself back in place before he planted it into the side of the wall.
"I'VE GOT TOO MUCH ON THE LINE, CHU! SO BRING IT, YOU FLYING PACK OF SKITTLES!" A stance with the blade was taken, pointing it toward the direction of the now approaching boy as his wings glowed, hair blew, and eyes narrowed as a confident smirk brandished his features.
"Stupidratfurrysaywhat?"
"What-"
VANISH!-
-REAPPEAR!
"Blizzaga Burst...!"
Disappearing from the rodent's eyes, the rainbow mage reappeared on the other side of the mountain as his hand was frozen onto its surface to keep his grip. Pointing with his palm, he spoke the name of another one of his personal SP Skills as a feeling of dread overcame the ASIC experiment's being/
RAINBOW BLAST!-
EXTEND!
FREEZE!...
A goliath of magic was thrust forth in the face of the mouse boy, seemingly spelling his demise with the amount of magic he felt that was coming toward him. Even someone who was basically clueless when it came to the finer aspects of magic was aware of the amount of energy held within the attack, and its energetic pressure was nothing to sneeze at. Without his slowed perception, increased reactions, and sharp intuition to use his blade as a ladder to push him away from the surface area, he'd be sharing the same fate as the completely iced-out mountain half opposite to him.
"Why won't you die!" Roared the furry, anger bleeding out of his tone.
"Plot armor, son." Smiled the preteen, somehow aware of the meta. "It hardens in response to narrative tension."
ZOOM!-
SHATTER!
RUSH!
Continued the wizard before rushing and kicking off the frozen part of the mountain as he winded up a punch with his bare fist, having kicked off of the now destroyed half with the ludicrous speed in hopes of crushing the pest before him.
DODGE!-
PUNCH!
CRASH!...
Burying his fist into the place where the head of the criminal previously stood, the opposite side of the geological structure was blasted by the force, punching out a massive hole in the process as the taller warrior paled at the thought of being in the middle of what had conspired on the other side, thanking his reaction time once more.
"Artic Artillery!"
SCRAMBLE!...
FROZEN BARRAGE!-
After registering the shouting words, Warechu high-tailed it from his current position as the floating mage threw both hands forward as rainbow ice spikes randomly bombarded the surface of the mountainside with craters and bone-chilling accumulations of ice that made haste to impale the rodent on its apex each time it sprouted from thin air as booking it was short serving what he was actually doing.
Throwing a damn library shelf was more apt to be precise.
Speaking of throwing...
FREEZE...!
"Hellebarde!"
Constructing a six-foot-long halberd from his imagination, he grabbed it by the shaft before it started to glow with rainbow energy. Shaping its top blade and side blade to be very sharp, he aimed for the fleeing rat's form, who was closing in on the mountain's peak.
"Shitshitshitshitshitshitshitshit!-"
THROW!
"FUCK!"
PULL!-
WOOSH!...
Cursing profusely as he reached the peak, dropping an F-bomb and pulling his body over the edge right before a weapon of cold punched a hole through his body as it was nothing but a blur of speed as it passed him, roaring by his body as he slid on the cliffside to gain some distance.
GRAB!-
"YOU CAN'T ESCAPE, RAT!" Domio shouted from the sky, suddenly in the perfect place to reach out and grab his summoned weapon with a single hand before looking down from the height he caught the ice weapon.
"I'm doing it right now, chu!"
SLIDE!
Using his feet for balance, the furry slid down the side of the mountain as he made his way to the bottom of the structure, sliding around the large hill created by the boy's monstrous strength.
PLUMMET!-
SWING!-
SMASH!
ICE SPIKES...!
Bringing down his halberd, the mage used his magical construct and planted it into the ground before rainbow spikes shot up in a linear fashion before solidifying into extremely sharp ice spikes that made haste to reach the sliding rodent as the sound of their uprooting made their existence known and adhered to the ASIC experiment.
SOAR!...
RUSH!-
Taking to the skies, Domio was quick to follow as he held the weapon before attempting to swing at the rat, who already heard AND felt his approach.
STAB!-
DODGE!...
So in turn, when the wizard struck the furry's position, due to his inexperience with the weapon on top of his telegraphed movement despite his speed, the weapon's path was manageably dodged as all but some fabric on the remaining side of the trench top.
SLICE!
RIP!-
A lateral swing that should have made its mark ended up only nicking some more fabric as the intuition of the rat mutant allowed him to fly back to avoid most of the damage with his clothes being the ones that took th fall instead.
SLASH!
TEAR!-
One swipe closer to shirtlessness was the name of the game as a vertical upswing was millimeters away from making contact with his skin as the flying furry twisted to the left to evade the attack, leaving only some coat to be violently ripped and sliced to pieces as the exchange continued.
THRUST!
BLEED...!
A blitzing thrust to the face was efficiently dodged, although it did manage to graze his cheek as blood was spilled in the form of a spurt on the weapon being used to attack him. A first hit, if only barely.
STAB!
SHRED!-
An attempt to pierce his chest was next, but of course, this too was subject to being completely avoided, Domio's only evidence of making contact being some leather on the end of his weapon, his successive misses and near-misses beginning to annoy him.
SWING!
EVADE!-
And the moment finally came when Warechu successfully dodged an attack fully, with a wide swing being completely avoided with an airborne split as the furry flew slightly up before pulling off the pose as he shot a mocking grin to the flying child.
RAM!-
GRAB!
And with a predictable thrust, the pole was grabbed right before it touched the midsection of the rat as both hands held the handle with an iron grip.
BREAK!
"!"
And by wrenching his wrists, the weapon was snapped in two.
"How!" Demanded the boy.
"We're making the mother of omeletts, Gaymer Chair. Can't fret over every egg."
SWING!-
SPARK!
He balled his fist before throwing it, sparks flying from his knuckles.
"Kyōjin'na Shinkei!"
POW!
"Urgh?!"
Using a skill, it finally did noticeable damage, the boy's invulnerability leaving him for the window of time needed to exploit it, which just happened to be what Warechu used to strike him.
"Looks like you're not as invincible as you thought." Sniggered the flying rodent as he cracked his knuckles, proud of the hit he managed to land that actually meant something.
Things were finally starting to look up for him.
"Shut the fuck up, you piece of shit!-"
HIGH KICK!
"Urk!"
SHOCKWAVE!
FLY!
A sole to the chin was felt in Warechu's soul as he was punted into the clouds before the boy pursued him, as their conversation continued.
"I'm not gonna take shit from the animal you compare to the words that come out your mouth when you hear shit!"
BIFF!-
A swift hook from the boy sent the rodent flying as he gritted his teeth in pain as a response.
FLAP!-
STATIC!-
ROUNDHOUSE KICK!
"Says the pride mascot!" Retorted the furry experiment as he laughed at the comparison before returning an attack of his own with a fierce twist before a roundhouse kick to the side of the boy's ribs as his body was moved, yet unscathed as he flinched from the contact.
GRAB!-
TOSS!
BICYCLE KICK!-
"Tough talk coming from A MOTHERFUCKING FURRY!" Screamed the mage as he used his arm to get a hold onto the leg of the rat beforethrowing him in the air and backflip kicking his tailbone in one fluid motion.
KICK!-
STATIC ARC!
"Come out the closet before you try to throw stones at a brick house, you retard!" Roared the ASIC member as he kicked an arc of electric energy toward the child that zoomed to his position.
DODGE!-
EXPLOSION!
"That house has a fucking infestation if you're living inside it, YA STINKIN' VERMIN! Arktische Bolzen!"
ZOOM!
FREEZE!
FREEZE!
FREEZE!
Cold air was felt in Warechu's position before he flew ass fast as his wings could take him, lightning trailing from the flying appendages as cold paths of wind flew to him, just barely missing his feet at every chance. Several clouds were completely frozen and fell to the ground before shattering on contact as one hand was outstretched to aim and continuously miss at every chance to the boy's chargin.
VANISH!...
-ELBOW!
STATIC!-
"?!"
His enemy disappeared for a split second before reappearing in the form of an elbow that sank into the top of the preteen's head, the arm dancing with bio-electricity as Domio was struck by the attack.
PLUMMET!...
FLIP!-
STOMP!
CRATER!...
Backflipping as he fell, regaining his bearings and landing on his feet, the ground cratered from the force as he looked up, his eyes returning to their brown shade for a brief moment before bouncing back into a kaleidoscope of colors.
'I don't have much time left in this form. I can feel it slipping...! June is about to end! Wait, what?' He questioned the last statement before shaking his head, dismissing the thought, and replacing confusion with concentration.
"For a walking rainbow, you're looking stormy. Almost like the rain transformed." Commented the furry as he stuck out his hilt.
"You say I deny my blade its purpose. How about I show you what it can really do!"
CHARGE!
SPARK!-
CRACKLE...!
STATIC!...
The device suddenly gained a yellow glow, shining as it started to give off a hum of power, energy being concentrating as the medium for such a potent showing of power, being his own energy.
"You might have the high ground... But I have something far stronger." A dark gaze peered up, a shadow under his multi-colored eyes to boot.
"What might that be? Your community?" Warechu held back a laugh. "Oh no, I'm getting canceled on the bird app! Ahh!" He laughed maniacally at the thought of social media being his downfall.
"THE MORAL HIGH GROUND!"
MAGIC CIRCLE!
Slapping his hands on the ground, a rainbow magic circle that grew to several tens of meters was summoned on the ground after the words left the caster's mouth.
FREEZE!
REACH!
A hand made of ice glowed in a prism fashion as many colors flashed and extended from the ground as its size was proportionate to the circle's, spanning over a hundred meters wide as its length kept increasing as it widened its fingers to reach out in the attempt to grab the flying rodent.
"Rechte Hand des Urteils!" Roared the boy as he was encased in the ice hand, the spell acting as an offensive and defensive technique.
"Don't make me laugh! High off your ass more like, chu!" Sticking his hilt forward, he roared the name of his attack.
"Yūki ka Jūden!"
BLAST!-
SPREAD!
From the top of his hilt, a downpour of energy made the sky turn to piss color with the beam bigger than his entire person as he couldn't even see the boy from its sheer size, only feel his presence on the ground.
ENGULF!
This attack was so large in fact, that the hand was completely engulfed by the energy as it hit the ground, causing a dome of energy to grow once the blast was concentrated on the floor with nowhere to go but everywhere that wasn't the sky.
"Moral of the story: GO FUCK YOURSELF!" Hollered Warechu as he struggled to completely eradicate the child, his signature not blinking away, but instead persisting.
Domio's body still maintained the untouchable stature thanks to his necklace, yet his spell was under immense pressure to the full extent of the rodent's energy reserves.
CRACK!...
CRACK!...
CRACK!...
This was evident, as the hand that was being used to reach the rat started to crumble under the pressure, gaining cracks where lost fragments once were. Even if one had endless energy, if it was overshadowed by an opposing force especially nearing the end of its duration, then it was good as stalling for the inevitable.
"I gotta get this hand to him, but how...?" Pondered the boy, his sole might was not enough to punch the cheese obsession out of his opponent.
"Sleep with the fishes like you should have been!"
GRIP!
BURST!-
-BOLTS!
Shouted the ASIC member as he grabbed the blade hilt with both hands, increasing its already tremendous power twofold. Several thunderbolts in his color resonated and hit the surroundings, setting some trees on fire upon contact.
TREMORS!...
A terrifying earthquake from the collision of power between the two now that Warechu had given it his all appeared, shaking the environment to a staggering effect, numerous cracks opening and swallowing boulders, monsters, and forestry alike.
WOBBLE!-Even the ground that Domio stood on suffered this fate as his footing became uneven, giving the flying mutant an extra few inches in their pivotal struggle.
"Say your prayers, chump!" Yelled the rat, as he prepared to send him off to the next life, for real this time.
"No...! I gotta have something in here..."
He dug into his pockets, shuffling for anything that could be of use in the current situation.
"Aha!" He grabbed something, being the rune that he received back in the shop.
GLOW!
He quickly channeled the mana being used in the spell into the stone that it was carved on, the carvings gaining a rainbow-colored shine.
"IT'S NOT OVER YET!"
GROW!
CLENCH!-
-RUSH!
In a normal voice, the rest of his power having been channeled into the rune, made the hand grow exponentially in size before its fingers closed into a tight fist before rushing through the beam with no signs of damage present, having been augmented to a degree that made it virtually indestructible in comparison to the rat's level of output.
"W-What? No! YOU FUCKING PIECE OF SHIT, I WAS SUPPOSED TO WIN, CHUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-"
SMASH!
And with that, a fist of magic slammed right into the rat's face, with all of his power being pushed back toward him as well in front of the structure which meant-
SHINE...!An explosion so grand, it was deafening to both parties as the light blinded them as the mage looked away, hoping that his hand would spare him the damage he'd take otherwise, with the furry's biggest concern being survival.
THOOM!
SCATTER!-
Their surroundings were worse off, though. Chunks of earth flew into the air before being vaporized by the energy of both fighters as this fate was distributed evenly amongst the area.
Awakening with a jolt, the mage breathed quickly before his breaths slowed, realizing his position.
"U-Uah!" Cried out the boy as he registered the view he took in. Dust, cracked earth, leftover static, some cold air, and the sense of triumph.
STUMBLE!-
Standing to his feet, he staggered. Most of his energy had been drained in the grueling altercation with Warechu, leaving him drained to say the very least. Even if no physical injury was inflicted thanks to his necklace, it did leave a feeling of fatigue. He also pondered if it was the rune, for pouring all of his energy into it like that in the spur of the moment.
His fully exposed turtleneck was filled with tears and rips, and some dust from the clash, the same being said for his pants and a crack of two ok his goggles, he looked around for his opponent's unconscious/deceased body.
"No sign of the rat..." Muttered the mage, looking around for a body that wasn't there. He tried as he might, but no trace of the rat was left, from what it seemed.
Even if the boy felt thrilled by the concept of victory, he still couldn't shake off the feeling of foreboding that clung to him, like a monkey on his back. He was still shaken and stirred from the last time he felt as if he won.
FALL...!
CHILL!
Hearing the sound of a whistle, synonymous with a falling object, the boy suddenly felt a cold sensation, one he grew accustomed to in the face of impending danger.
"From above!"
JUMP!-
SOAR!
"W-Woah!"
When he backstepped to avoid the sense of danger, his foot ended up carrying him higher than expected, despite his fatigued state. It created an incongruous experience for the boy as he flailed in the air, adjusting to his increased physical attributes.
SMASH!...
The unconscious body of Warechu slammed into the ground, recoiling before resting on its back. Shirtless and bodied, the heavily injured furry was no longer a threat to the boy.
LAND!-
SPRINT!
SLIDE...!
Immediately moving towards the felled former opponent, the boy quickly accounted for his fallen foe.
"I didn't even find out his name... He tried to kill me, though so that scheißkerl can kick rocks." Stretching a hand, he prepared to seal the rat in a box of ice before smashing it, eliminating him.
His hand raised, shakily. Both from the thought of actually killing someone, and from his perceived tiredness.
MAGIC CIRCLE!...
"Der tod ist kalt, ratte."
SWEEP!-
Before he could actually utter the words of the spell, the rat heaving his entire center of gravity with pain aching from every facet of his body, sweeping his leg in a fashion that caused dust to kick up as his foot knocked into the shin of the wizard.
"Ah!"
...PALM!
SWING!-
DOUBLE PISTON!
He went around for a second rotation before double piston kicking the boy in his chest as he fell into the perfect position for the execution.
TUMBLE!...
ROLL!-
STOMP!
"Was zum teufel-" After ragdolling on the floor, Domio barely moved his head to avoid the stomp of a barely functional Warechu, still having the energy left to attempt a kill.
SPELL!-
FREEZE!
Firing a nameless spell, the furry's foot was frozen as his movement ceased, causing the frame of the junior wizard to relax.
SHATTER!
CHILL!-
KICK!
"Augh!" Blood flew from the mouth of the boy as he was kicked to his feet after the foot of the mutant easily freed itself from its hold before moving so quickly that even the danger sense couldn't properly warn a weary spell caster before pain was inflicted.
KICK!-
A high kick to the chest. Saying it wasn't an option.
KICK!-
A low kick to the knee. The mage honestly preferred an arrow.
KICK!-
Side kick to the diaphragm. Wheezing was inevitable.
KICK-OFF!-
KNEE!
Liver shot after a lunging start with the boy's shoulders being used for support felt like agony, only bolstered by the pure white that replaced pupils for the brief instant he was struck.
JUMP!-
KICK BARRAGE!
"AURURURURURURURURURURURU-CHU!"
Using his wings as leverage, the mutant rodent mimicked a certain mortal kombatant's bicycle kick as he repeatedly used the child's face as a tap dance floor with the preteen stumbling back in pain.
DROPKICK!
THUD!-
Falling to the ground, his face in a bloody mess as a broken nose, lazy eye, and ebbing jaw greeted his return to injury. Not to mention his chest, plexus, and kneecap.
Oh, to be hurt.
"Stay away!"
MAGIC CIRCLE!
ICE SPELLS!
Clutching his bleeding face, the child saw through the cracks in his fingers to fire multiple ice spells in his opponent's direction.
VANISH!
MISS...!
APPEAR!
SPELLS!-
DISAPPEAR!
Each time the rat avoided the projectiles, he'd reappear to wait just before they reached him to dodge the attacks at the expense of Domio's mana supply.
"Without the power of pride month, you are nothing, chu!"
REAPPEAR!-
ZOOM!...
...BAM!
"Argh!" Screamed the child as more of the red substance flew from his mouth, his jaw breaking from the now monstrous strength the rat possessed compared to his feeble normal state.
If it weren't for his residual strength from the necklace, he'd probably be unconscious, or worse.
SLIDE...!
SPARK!...
VANISH!
Reappearing in a slide, the rat villain repeated this process as static danced around his body.
BZZT!-
BOOM!
SKID!...-
BZZT!-
POW!
FLAP!-
BZZT!-
THOOM!
As time went on, Warechu moved to a point that he became a flash of static before hitting the mage with such force that it visibly caused the air to crackle with an electronic wave of energy each time.
SHOCKWAVE!
SHOCKWAVE!
SHOCKWAVE!
SHOCKWAVE!-
SHOCKWAVE!-
SHOCKWAVE!-
This continued until nothing but the electronic shockwave was left, repeatedly stunning the child as he was being damaged at an alarming rate, unable to counter due to the disgusting speed showcased to keep him pinned in the same spot to be thrown around by the powerful punches like a ragged heavy bag.
"Grr...!"
Pain overloaded his senses. It blinded him and dulled his danger-sensing capabilities, overwhelmed by the damage. Helplessness overtook him as even the hits that Warechu landed became synonymous with the torment of his wounds, meshing into a constant stream of agonizing.
But this also hatched a different kind of emotion.
CHILL!...-
SWIVEL!
"GRAWR!"
Feeling the chill he relied on for so long, the boy immediately turned to face the rat, who was moving at a hefty fraction of the speed of light. Streaks of lightning reminiscent of yellow were being dragged from his features, such as his glowing iris, tips of his hair, and several other areas. Shock was etched into his features with the eyes of the preteen turning blue at the last second.
FREEZE!-
SWING!
Time seemed to slow down for the duo as their attacks were moments from connecting, fists inches from their targets. A gauntlet of ice and a fistful of electricity clashed for a final time.
SPARK!
BIFF!-
SMASH!-
THOOM!...
A loud echo of sound occurred as the two punches cross countered, each combatant stuck in place from the attack.
...
...
...
An eerie silence lingered around the area, both individuals stagnant as they stood their ground until the other fell.
...
...
...!
...THUD!
Until someone did.
STAGGER!-
White, blank eyes and a shattered gauntlet lay on the ground with a defeated Domio, as Warechu only staggered from the fatigue he too felt after exerting himself despite his injuries.
"That was close." Breathed the rodent furry. "I'm lucky I activated Itami Yokusei-Zai at the last second. That one should've stung like hell. Well, I should have felt it period. But I won, so take that you cryo chump!" Reveling in his inhibition of pain, Warechu stood triumphant over the boy's crumpled form. His other iris glowed red, signifying the activation of the technique with both heterochromatic eyes glowing with light.
AIM!
"I've won this rat race, punk." Pulling a Magnum Research Desert Eagle L6 from, as the intimidating barrel stayed on the head of the unconscious lad.
BZZT!
CRACKLE!...
"Not quite as shocking as you think, but I can jumpstart your path to the afterlife." Lightning danced around the weapon before it collected energy from his body.
"I'm gonna have to cut this conversation, though. Duty calls and all, chu." Getting ready to pull the trigger, the gun glowed the same color as his electricity as it was supercharged with his bio-electricity being borderline imbued into it.
DUBSTEP FART!
TIME STOP!
"Chrono Trigger: The World!..."
A deep voice interrupted the impending moments leading up to the child's demise as Edge Heart arrived on the scene.
Time was stopped, and none but he was moving in his silent world of paused time. Even Gust, who was stuck on his shoulders the entire time was under the effect of The World,
"I made it in time." Observing the situation, he perceived the rat on the verge of squeezing the trigger on the fallen mage, as there was another person who appeared to be a woman on a broom that also flew toward the child, although it also seemed as if she was just a har's breadth too far to reach him with a hand outstretched to grab the Loweean.
"...Domio." He uttered the name of his juvenile accomplice, who he hadn't grown too accustomed to in his human form, yet he couldn't help but feel a wave of melancholy taking in his defeated form.
"Gaze upon thy massacre of our lad... Even though you have lost, you truly are a durable guy. I am impressed you have made it this far alone." A small smirk, seen by no one but him made its way onto his lips.
"I shall it from here."
MOVE!...
...SHIFT!
He casually approached the child and picked him up by his turtleneck before placing his fallen form in the hands of the Mad Magician, after moving her away from the gun's direction.
PLACE!
The CPU also took Gust off his back, muttering something about 'horny kids', and placed her on a tree branch, which was hidden enough for the mutant not to see her position but for her to see his.
REVERT!...
ゴゴゴゴ!
And finally, he reverted to his human state before approaching the rat... Menacingly.
SLAM!
"Ho wata!"
BLUR!-
GRAB!
PULL!...
Being the asshole that he was, Gris sent the tip of his shoe to absolutive obliterate the testicles of his opponent, making the rat visibly lurch before moving behind him to grab his weapon and aim it into the air.
"Toki was ugokidasu."
TIME RESUMES!
"?!" MAGES. and Gust we're caught off guard by their current placements, as the mage was flying away and had to adjust herself with her new payload being her beaten student, whilst the alchemist hand to balance on the branch to not fall off of it more than she already was and eventually pull herself back
"!-"
BOOM-
VOOM!...
Warechu suddenly felt his knees grow weak, for seemingly no reason due to him being unable to feel the stimulus besides aggressive, then fleeting pressure on his groin reminiscent of a kick in the dick.
Pulling the trigger from instinct, a yellow beam that was the result of a deafening gunshot soared into the sky with static corkscrewing around the line of energy.
"What?!... He's gone!... Then...!"
But before he fell, he was tugged by a force as he turned to the thing that was keeping him from falling, after realizing that his target was gone.
"Watts up?" A calm, nigh-emotionless pun from the unamused assassin made the blood of the rat mutant go cold.
Speaking of up...
The surface of the moon was desolate, and vacant for the most part. Lack of oxygen, black and colorless skies, and a thin atmosphere was all the usual characteristics of the iconic solo orbiter of the planet.
On the surface of said celestial object, was a single person. Or rather, rabbit in a space suit.
Standing on the surface, they seemed lost as staring at the pale blue marble of Gamindustri was enamoring to their perception.
"The sisters might need to know about this...!" Realizing that the planet she stared at was no longer the old one they were used to, as she turned around to do just that. What did this mean?
Something.
Was it important enough to mention?...
Meh, probably not.
...!
"What's... That noise?-" Curiosity was cut off promptly.
IONIZE!
Before she could move too far, Warechu's beam completely pulverized her as a large line was left in the attack's wake before it dissipated in the outer atmosphere of the moon. A sizeable text could be seen from the planet as five large letters formed a word that was all too familiar.
"Graze!"
This was observed back on Gamindustri's surface, as the manslayer and experiment both looked up.
"Rat piss on the moon. Never thought I'd see the day." An impressed smirk made its way to the man's face, referencing a very humorous fan dub.
"Piss off, chu. What's that graze about?" Inquired the furry, unknowingly adding to the joke.
"Fuck if I know. Something about the moon being fake. But back to what I was saying..." Ignoring the visible mark on a faded moon, the reference came to an end as the plot was back in session.
PRESS!
"Quite the shocker, thinking you'd win." Pressing the muzzle of his handgun into the temple of the furry as the grip audibly tightened, near the ears of the rodent that heard every muscle in the deity's hand contract to do so.
"Too bad it's not going to be as easy, or as possible as you thought." Continued the hired killer.
"Who... Is he.. ?" The Mad Magician was visibly shaken up by the sudden movement as she already grabbed her student without being aware as the man already had the rat at gunpoint.
"He's hot!" The alchemist simped, salivating from her branch as she wiped the moisture from the corner of her mouth.
"Aren't you a child?" A brow raised, unsure of the behavior that was being seen by the girl.
"I can be his little gir-"
BFFT!
"Mmph!" A distortion occurred before duct tape was attached to Gust's mouth. She couldn't take it off without the risk of falling, so her silence was guaranteed by default.
"That is exactly why children should be seen and not heard." An annoyed expression ruined his once emotionless mask.
"Ain't that the truth." Warechu glanced over to the unconscious mage before looking back to the gun that was pointed at his cerebral cortex.
"Back to the topic, any last words?" Inquired the top-grade assassin.
"Got a few, chu," Warechu told the deity as he clenched and opened his hand, preparing his muscles for something.
"Speak, peasant." Prompted the edgy god.
SWIPE!-
SLAP!
CLUTCH!-
CLACK!
"Might wanna start thinking about your own, chump."
Throwing the gun into his other hand before slapping the slide back and grabbing it by the handle and jarring the gun back to set the compartment into place, pointing it to the underside of Gris' jaw with the same arm in a matter of two seconds.
"?!" MAGES. and Gust we're shocked at the precision, unlike the target who simply retained his dull facial expression.
"Impressive, but futile." Snorted the edge lord.
"What could possibly give you the right to say that load of-"
BFFT!
"Huh?" The grip of his pistol felt lighter, as he looked before seeing that he had a comparatively smaller gun as a much heavier object was digging into his forehead.
"Magnum Research Desert Eagle L6. More commonly known as the legal coffin salesperson. Anyone is guaranteed to see Celestia if this hits them, well except for me of course." Boasted the assassin, after switching the weapons at a moment's notice.
"How did you do that!?" Warechu was on edge, unable to process the events that occurred in such a small increment of time.
It was almost as if no time at all passed in that imaginary moment.
"A better question might be how you survived so long if you think this is something to make a spectacle." Insulted the man as he sniggered.
"Fuck you!" Anger overtaking his emotions, he went to squeeze the trigger with haste, hopefully blowing the brains out of his aggressor without any more interruptions.
BFFT!
"Hope you watched Pulp Fiction, or this joke's gonna go over your head, rat," Gris commented before Warechu saw that his gun was now a banana.
"What?!... How are you doing this! Something's wrong, chu!" Completely lost for words, the furry could only focus on the scene before him which entailed his gun now a great snack.
"You just figured that out?" Laughed the hired killer. "I pity the fool." He chortled, before resetting to a more neutral demeanor.
"S-Shut up!" Feeling the daunting aura the imposing man possessed, multiplied by his current situation despite his condition, he still managed to harbor the feeling that was prevalent in any intelligent being.
Primal fear.
"Don't act scared now, vermin. You had plenty of time before I arrived to say your prayers!" A truculent grin made its way to the GPU's face, sweat rolling off of the rodent's.
"This rat race is finished!" An agonistic scream was heard as the hitman pulled the dreaded trigger.
BANG!...
A/N:
AND DONE!
Another chapter is complete! Thanks for reading this chapter, I really appreciate every single one of you that has kept up with the story to this point.
I packed this installment full of memes, if you want you can comment the ones you caught, and I'll even take some recommendations. All in the name of fic development.
So with that being said, thank you for reading this chapter, and sticking around for over half of a hundred chapters. This is really the kind of stuff that keeps me going, so I owe you readers a lot. Thank you.
And with that, let's get to the summary.
Using the power of the necklace, Domio has tapped into an unknown faucet of limitless stamina, and rose to the occasion with a collage of dank memes, combating Warechu to the brink of the ASIC agent's ability. With his new power, making short work of the rat seemed like as easy as walking.
On the other side of that coin, the furry wished he was in any place that wasn't in the sights of the preteen, having to exert himself to survive until the phenomenon completely wore off, only then gaining the decisive advantage to put down the nigh-unstoppable child.
But even when all seemed lost, the mysterious MAGES. came to her student's aid and scooped him up from the jaws of death. Yet her appearance was soon accompanied by the loli alchemist Gust, and her piggyback ride- the edgelord deity Gris himself. As the man and the mouse confront each other, things could only get more hectic the next time we see them.
