"I'm starting to think the only reason they managed to beat Gajeel is because they worked together." Freed mumbled.

"No way these two could actually win a fight one on one." Bickslow said.

"Elfman, hang on." Lisanna begged.

"I'm trying..." He groaned out as Kain walked over. "Listen to me, your only chance to beat this is with a strong coordinated attack."

Kain charged them and forced the two apart before grabbing Lisanna by the leg and held her up. "This is what you get for trying to seduce a noble warrior like me."

"Seduce you?" Lisanna asked in confusion.

"Now then, since I'm such a good person i think make your death as painless as possible." Kain bragged before his hair was set on fire.

"Cana!" Lisanna called out in gratitude.

"What the hell was that for!?" Kain asked, patting out his flaming hair.

"Its what you get for being seeing such a fat creep." The brunette replied. Kain charged her and she threw some cards down that sparked out lightning. It did nothing as Kain had turned himself into a lightning rod. She threw some flaming cards at him and he turned himself into cotton, letting him float above them. A geyser of water soaked him and sent him crashing to the ground before she threw icicle shards at him.

'Cana is holding her own... its no wonder she was a nominee.' Lisanna said to herself.

Cana glared at him before he went on some weird rant about two girls wanting him before a an iron word hit him in the face. "Let's teach this guy a lesson." Levy said. Then he went on a rant about three girls wanting him at once before charging them. Levy the word hole and trapped him in it before cana ignited him again and lisanna crashed down in her penguin form.

Levy and Cana looked on before shock took over their faces. "Lisanna, look down." Cana said making the youngest Strauss look down to see Elfman under her. Kain bragged bout how he swapped places with Elfman before he crashed into rune wall. "When did that get here?"

"Freed wanted us to be prepared, so he had us set up a bunch if magic sealing traps around the camp." Levy explained.

Both cast a spell at the same time as Lisanna activated her wing spell. "With Flames and Storm; Triple Unison Explosion!" She flapped her wings and the two spells merged before they blasted him over the tree line.

"Looks like he lost." Kawazu said.

"Good thing for us." Yomazu chuckled.

"Yeah, we're bound to get promoted now." The chicken clucked back.

"How can they be happy about what happened?" Bickslow asked.

"It must be a dark guild thing." Freed said. "I'm not sure we could understand. For now, let us deal with them."

"You got it." The masked man nodded.

Grimoire Heart Airship

Laxus unleashed a roar of lightning that Hades dodged. A chain shot forward and grabbed the globe behind the blonde before it yanked it, dragging it towards him. Laxus jumped out of the way as the orb bounced over Nicholas. "Hey, are you trying to kill me!?"

Hades blasted Laxus backwards before the blonde notice the magic circles around him. "Is that an Ameteratsu formula!?" Hades closed his fist and spell went off, blasting the others back.

"Those hit by the Ameteratsu formula lose all strength and become immobilizes." The dark master explained. "Simply blocking it consumes so much magic power it can be fatal."

A bolt of lightning shot out of the smoke and bounced around the room before it struck hades in the back, sending him flying back. 'I had no idea laxus was this powerful.' Erza thought from the floor.

"And that was just one leg." The blonde said. "I still have the other leg, and both my arms. And my whole body. If I combine them into one attack, it'll be a hell of alot stronger then that kick that just took you down."

"I can't blame your confidence, it come with youth." Hades replied. "But its not indicative of your skill!" Both charged each other with their magic ready. "You can't beat me!"

"Watch me!" Laxus shouted back before their magics clashed, creating an explosion. The dust settled and showed Laxus dropping to a knee.

"Look at what we have here." Hades chuckled. "I knew you were full of bravado, but I didn't expect you to fall so easily."

"Please get up!" Erza begged.

Laxus chuckled at the old man. "I've traveled almost all over this world, but this is the first time I ever meet such a monster. I've got a long way to go."

"What are you saying!?" Natsu shouted.

"Pull yourself together man!" Gray added.

"I thought you were tougher than this!" Nicholas shouted.

"I'm glad i could help you come to this realization, Laxus was it?" Hades asked. "But this is the end! Prepare to die!" A ball of black magic appeared in his hands and fired into a beam at Laxus.

"Get out of the way!" Erza shouted.

"I've realized something... I'm not a member of Fairy Tail anymore." He mumbled as the others shouted at him to move. "This bastard took out my grandpa... so I'm allowed to take revenge, right?"

"Of course you are!" Natsu shouted, making the blonde smirk.

Lightning arched off him before it flew at Natsu. The spell hit Laxus and sent the whole ship to its side as Laxus fell backwards into the new hole in the floor. "This ones.. my treat..." He mumbled before hitting the ground.

Natsu stood up as lightning sparked off him. "What's happening to him?" Wendy asked.

"Thanks... for the meal." The pinkette mumbled.

"An electric charge?" Hades asked.

"I gave him all my magic power." The blonde groaned out.

"He what!?" Gray asked. "Thats insane..."

"Does that mean he ate lightning?" Lucy asked.

"Impossible..." Brianna said as she helped Nicholas. "If he did he'd be sick."

"Why'd you give it to me?" Natsu asked. "You know I'm much weaker than you."

"It had nothing to do with being weaker." Laxus replied. "He wounded Fairy Tails Master. Its only right that someone with the guild's emblem take him down. Anyone who hurts the guild deserves whats coming to them. Go get em, Natsu."

Natsu wiped the dirt from his eyes and stood up. "Okay." Flames erupted around him and merged with the lighting.

"Its a fusion of flame and lightning..." Wendy mumbled in surprise. "A Lightning flame dragon..."

Natsu turned to Hades with anger in his eyes. "You're gonna pay for everything you've done."

Council Warships

The tattered ship sailed away from the island as Mest looked back in shame. "Was this really for the best?"

"I know how important the mission is." Lahar told him. "However, I'm also responsible for the lives of our shipmates. Retreat is our only option."

"That's not what I'm talking about." Doranbolt replied. "We left so many people behind. We could have easily pulled them off of the island, but instead we..."

"I understand how you feel." Lahar said. "I once thought the same way. But in the end I realized how naive I was. And justice demands-"

"Cut the peace and justice crap!" The spy shouted. "All we did here was run away."

"I understand that you're angry." The captain said. "Its nit rational. But if blaming me will ease your pain, then take out your frustrations on me will make you feel better, then do it."

The spy just stared up at the sky in anger. "I don't know how to make things right..."

Base Camp

Yomazu summoned w kanji that flew at Freed. "You insult me." He said before a wall of runes shattered it. "I'm more than just a defensive wizard. Or maybe Grimoire Heart isn't all its cracked up to be. Please try something new if you'd like." The samurai spelt another kanji that hit the wall before creating the one for 'Roar'. It broke through the wall and hit Freed, sending him to ground.

"Is Freed seriously getting beat by that guy?" Cana asked as the girls pulled on Elfmans legs.

"Don't worry, he'll be okay." Levy said before Elfman popped out of the ground.

"Bayron Formation!" Bickslow shouted before his totems spun in a circle and fired their laser. The chicken clucked before spitting out a wall of eggs that blocked the attack. "Thats just not right."

"It looks like Bickslow is having some trouble." Cana said.

"We can't just stand here and do nothing." Lisanna added.

"I know, but fighting that big guy drained all our magic power." Levy sighed out.

"Levy's right." Elfman said popping up and scaring the girls. "We need a way to refuel our power. And there's a mountain of protein right there."

"Please tell me your joking, big bro." Lisanna begged.

"He looks pretty serious to me." Cana said before Elfman dived onto the eggs and starred eating them.

With a swallow he finished, looking at a disgusted Kawazu. "Thanks for the meal. I feel like a man again."

The chicken jumped into the air and shot eggs out of his mouth at Bickslow. Elfman jumped over and glowed before his arm turned into iron. A kanji protected Kawazu from the punch before another forced him back. "You shouldn't push yourself, Elfman." Freed said.

"You're gonna drop dead if you keep this." Bickslow warned.

"Like I care about that." The larger man said. "All i really need is this arm. These guys have hurt my sisters, my partner, my family. I may be pathetic, but I'll put everything i have into this arm to beat these barnyard bozzos."

"Very well, consider this your chance to make things up to Evergreen." Freed said.

The two animals charged forward as Freed swung his sword, letting runes fly onto Bickslows totems as they hit the chicken. Elfman jumped up and punched him as Freed in his dark armor kicked Yomazu. The dog man smirked at his protective kanji before another ripped through Freed. "Im impressed with your timing. Finish him, Elfman."

Freed fell backwards as Elfman jumped forward and punched the dark wizard back, scaring Levy and Cana. "It appears we did our job." Freed said with a smile.

"Finally, we can rest." Bickslow said.

"I could go for a nap." Elfman added.

Grimoire Heart Ship

The group stared in amazement of Natsu's feat, none more so than Erza. "This is just like the time he ate a shard of etherion." She mumbled.

Natsu roared before he charged Hades and fire punched him in the face, sending the dark wizard flying backwards. He spun and then kicked Hades in the head with flames before a bolt of lightning struck him. "So now Natsu's able to use lightning as well?" Gray asked.

"That's awesome!" Lucy cheered.

"This is what happens when you mess with Fairy Tail!" Natsu shouted before punching Hades back. Another sent him sliding through the wood floor as Natsu jumped into the air. "Now say good bye!" He slammed both elements slammed down on the dark master and exploded.

Hades jumped out of the smoke and fired a chain that trapped Natsu's arms. "Try hitting me with your hands tied."

Natsu ripped his hands free before pulling his head back as flames surronded him. "Lightning Flame Dragon Roar!" Flames and electricity shot out and blasted Hades with enough force to blast the others back. The attack ripped through the ships wall before fading, showing Hades on the ground.

Everyone else stared in shock as Natsu panted in exhaustion. "I warned you not to mess with us..." He fell over in exhaustion before Lucy grabbed his arm and stopped him. "Thanks... I don't suppose you have any food in that outfit of yours."

Lucy just chuckled as Erza smiled. 'If used that much power in one attack, I'd be toppling over too.'

"Another one bites the dust." Gray chuckled.

"We won!" Wendy cheered.

"Never had a doubt in my mind." Brianna smirked. "Now lets get you some rest."

"I'm fine." Nicholas said before holding his chest.

With The Exceeds

The four cats crawled through the airducts of the ship. "Maybe the power source is super small and that's why we missed it." Happy mumbled, leading the group.

"Given the size of this ship, its highly unlikely that its being powered by anything that small." Carla said directly behind him.

"Is there a reason why we're crawling through the ductwork?" Pantherlily asked from the back.

"I can think of several, but maybe Happy has a different one." Slate said between Carla and Lily.

"It's just a feeling I have." Happy replied.

"You'll feel my fist through your face!" The black cat shouted in anger.

Happy came to a stop, making the others back into each other. "You could at least give us a warning before you stop." Carla scolded.

"Why'd you stop anyway?" Slate asked.

"Do any of you... know what that thing is?" The blue cat asked, staring through the grate. The others looked over his shoulder and gasped in horror. "It's alive?" The cats climbed out the vent and stared at the device. "Do you think that's it?"

"It doesn't really look like a power source but who knows..." Carla replied.

"That's gotta be it." Slate said. "But I didn't think they'd be so literal with the term 'heart of the ship'."

"Could that be the Grimoire heart?" Lily mumbled.

"I heard voices inside!" A guard shouted from the other side of the door.

"Don't be ridiculous. How could anyone get inside?" Another asked.

Happy screamed in a panic. "Oh, no they found us!" Carla shouted in a panic.

"Slate and I will hold them off! You two two hurry and put that thing out of commission!" Lily said before the two raced out of the room.

"Any ideas?" Happy asked.

"Break it, of course!" Carla replied.

"How are we supposed to break something that big!?" Happy asked in a panic.

"I guess we're just going to have ti fiddle with things at random." Carla replied as she pulled on some wires.

Pantherlily grew to his battle form and punched one back before Slate jumped over his shoulder and launched some knives at the group, knocking a few back. A masked charged and swung his sword, only for Lily to catch it and Slate to head but him back. "How generous."

The sword started glowing before it increased in size. "Well this is unexpected. I never thought I'd see a size changing sword outside of Edolas." The mob of members charged the two csts as lily smirked" "Think I'll keep it."

"Let's get 'em!" Slate shouted before the two charged into the horde.

Upper Level

The group panted in exahaustion as Hades opened his eye. "You may have knocked me down, but I'm not out." He said standing up making them all gasp in shock. "Well done, Makarov. You've raised some truly remarkable children dispite your flawed philosophy."

"There's no way..." Wendy mumbled in fear.

"That's not possible..." Brianna whispered as Nicholas held her hand tighter.

"I can't remember the last time someone left me tattered and worn after a brawl." The dark master said as he resummoned his cloak. "I appreciate the entertainment, but i must get back to work. I'll be obliterating each of you now. Belive me, you'll wish I'd so earlier."

"What kind of monster could survive such a powerful attack?" Erza asked in a panic.

Hades removed his eyepatch and opened his right eye. "Devils Eye: Open." Magic began swirling around him. "You're about witness something beyond your imagination. The Abyss of sorcery."

"Do you feel that?" Gray asked.

"It's just pure evil..." Nicholas groaned out.

"I've never sensed this much power in one place before." Erza mumbled.

"And its only getting stronger." Lucy added.

"I am the harbinger of Fairy Tails last breath." Hades declared.

Natsu groaned in pain as he clentched his fist. "Not good. I used up all my strength in that last attack."

"The abyss of sorcery?" Gray asked.

"It's power is overwhelming." Erza mumbled as Wendy trembled in fear.

"No matter what happens, stay behind me." Brianna told her friend.

"Snap out of it!" Lucy shouted at Natsu.

"In order to walk the path of sorcery, one must sink into its abyss and the eternal darkness." Hades said. "Within that darkness lies primordial magic that shines like the heavens, the purest of magic power. Can you feel it? Its so close its almost in front of you. That is the Grand Magic World, and Zeref is the key to reaching it. Tonight, Zeref will awaken. And history will be altered forever. At long last the primordial magics will belong to me!"

"We can't let that happen." Erza mumbled.

"Only the strongest will be aloud into it." The dark master continued. "And you all lack the strength of will to survive in the abyss."

"I've got a bad feeling about this..." Nicholas mumbled.

"Chapter four, Verse twelve from the book of Zeref. Nemesis." Hades chanted before the rubble began glowing. Purple creations began rising out of them and roared to life all around Hades.

"He's creating monsters from the rubble!?" Gray shouted in fear.

"With the magic power of the abyss at my command, I can creat nightmares from the tiniest speck of dust." Hades bragged. "Such is the supremacy of the arcane magic!"

The group began shaking in fear as they all looked at the approaching horde. Natsu clutched Lucy's arm before he spoke up, surpising the group. "Don't worry. We have everything we need to beat this guy right here." Gildarts words flowed out of his mouth as he slowly stood up. "Alone we might be to afraid, but together we have all the courage we need!"

"Still holding on to the light?" Hades mockingly asked. "Dance my devils! Set the sun on Fairy Tail!" The group slowly stood up and stared at Hades before Natsu roared and lead the charged. The demons unleashed their attacks before Natsu tripped. Nicholas and Brianna pushed him forward before Lucy and Wendy grabbed his arms and threw him forward.

He passed Erza and Gray who kicked him right at Hades. An explosion rocked the ship before the roof collapsed. The others watched the smoke clear as the pinkettes scarf floated over. Natsu had punched Hades in the face and sent him stumbling back. Lucy reached over and caught the cloth before it flew into the ocean almost falling over herself.

"No, that's impossible..." Hades mumbled. "My arcane magic had no effect on you? How can that be!? My magic-" He gasped as he grabbed his eye before taking another punch. 'Its not possible... What have you done to my heart?'

The monsters stopped glowing and roared before their bodies started crumbling. "All the monsters are starting to crumble..." Erza mumbled.

'Did they destroy it!? If thats true, i will lose all of my magic power!' Hades thought in a panic.

A rumbling caught Wendys attention before the others followed her eyes. "You kidding me!?" Gray asked.

"The Tenrou tree..." Lucy mumbled.

"How'd it get back to normal?" Brianna asked.

'Ultear... was this you?' Gray asked himself.

The emblem of every Fairy Tail member started glowing brightly. "What's happening?" Lucy asked.

"Our emblems are glowing..." Wendy answered in amazement.

"Anyone else feeling stronger?" Nicholas asked.

"Our magic power is back." Erza mumbled.

"Finally, we catch a break." Brianna smiled.

Natsu roared before throwing his fist forward. 'How could I, the all powerful Hades, be defeated by Makarov and his children!?' Hades asked.

"This is what you get for hurting our master!" Natsu shouted.

Hades slammed his palm into the pinkette's face and forced him back. "Stay back!" Hades shouted before punching Natsu in the face. "Until i stand above all other wizards, the devil within me will never sleep!"

A fist colided wih his face as Laxus stood up. "Attack! Come on, Fairy Tail!" He shouted as Natsu sparked before triggering his new power and the others charged.

"I've hade it with this whole damn day! So lets end this now!" Brianna shouted before turning into her Banshee form. "Take this!" She unleashed a scream that both blasted and deafen Hades.

"We don't have a contract yet, but I could really use your help. Open, Gate of the Sea Goat - Capricorn!" Lucy turned her new key and summoned her new spirit. "Take him down."

Capricorn nodded and charged the confused Hades. "Zoldeo is gone. I am now Lucy's spirit." He declared before punching Hades back.

"I wanna get a hit in too! Sky Dragon Wing Attack!" Wendy declared before swinging her arms. Whips of wind launched Hades into the air.

"That makes two of us! Earth Dragon Morning Star!" Nicholas unleashed his spike ball and slammed his arm down, hitting Hades in the head which sent him to the ground.

"Ice Make: Ice Bringer!" Gray crafted two large swords of ice and swung them.

As Hades fell once more, Erza raced forward and donned her Heavens Wheel armor complete with two swords. "Pentagram Sword!" She swung her blades in a star shape that sent him sliding.

"Dragon Slayer Secret Art!" Natsu chanted, catching hades off guard. "Flame Lotus: Exploding Lightning Blade!" He spun his arms and another explosion rocked the ship and Hades. Natsu panted heavily as he watched the dark wizard bounced off the ground in defeat. The sun finally rose over the island as the war ended.

The war on Tenrou has reached its end. And with this, I have put up a poll on my profile asking you guys to tell me which stories you want the Infinity Clock arc in. You have until the end of the arc to vote.
