The Knight Of Mahora Academy

Period 9: Road To Kyoto

UQ Holder Chapter 19 is...a bit more gruesome than I expected. But equally, it was just as badass.

Kuromaru has proved themselves now, time for Touta to make an example of the awesome Werewolf guy.

Or maybe just a super destructive, bloody fist fight around the burning slums of Japan.

...

Okay, now I want the latter.

*Tick*Tick*Tick*Tick*

Negi was eagerly staring at the alarm clock as it came closer to ringing. He was trembling in excitement as the last few seconds passed and...

*Ring*Rin-

Negi slammed the alarm clock and jumped out of bed, "Today's the day!"

He jumped and started changing into his suit. He ran over to the couch and grabbed Naruto's shoulder, "Naruto-San! Naruto-San! It's time to wake up and go!"

Naruto's groaned and woke up with a startle, "Wh-what? What's happening?"

"It's the day of the Kyoto trip Naruto-San! We've got to go to the train station! Come on!"

"Oh." Naruto hummed before putting his head back into the pillow, "Back to bed."

"Naruto-San~, wake up."

After some serious shaking, Naruto finally woke up and started getting dressed as well. Konoka and Asuna slowly started to rise, yawning while Negi jumped around like the excitable child he was. Naruto glared at the fox blissfully napping on the covers and pulled them out from under him, making Kyūbi yip and squeal in terror.

Naruto was tiredly wiping his eyes while Negi bounced on his toes. Asuna was fixing the little boy's hair, "Okay, have you got everything? Passport? Clothes? Guidebook? If you're missing anything, you've got to go without it for the rest of the trip."

"I'm fine Asuna-San! I did all the packing over the weekend!" Negi said with a big smile on his face, "I'm ready for everything!"

Asuna sighed and looked up at the older blond behind him, "And you Whiskers?"

He just yawned and nodded, "Yeah, I'm fine. This excitable little munchkin didn't leave me alone all day so I'm set."

"Naruto-San, please don't call me a munchkin!"

"Only when you can pass my belly button munchkin."

"I-I am taller than-"

"Can't hear you buddy. You're too far away." Naruto said while cupping his ears to hear better while Negi tried to say he wasn't short. Asuna stifled a laugh while Naruto got his payback against the short boy.

"Okay guys, here you go." Konoka said as she handed them two bags, "I filled them each with onigiri. So make sure you eat properly before you go."

"Thank you Konoka-San!" Negi said as he looked inside the bag in excitement.

Naruto already had one in his mouth and was savoring the taste, "Mmmmm, so good."

"Come on Naruto-San! We've got to go!" Negi said as he started pulling Naruto down the hall until they were out of sight.

Asuna closed the door and yawned again, "I'm going back to sleep."

"Oh Asuna, you're acting so lazy."

"I'm not acting Konoka, it's just me." Asuna said as she pulled her way up to her bunk and saw Kyūbi settle into her covers to go back to sleep. She leaned into the side of her bed, "Hey Furball, shouldn't you be following Whiskers like the loyal pet you are?"

"Pfft, bitch please."

[[[[[[[[Knight]]]]]]]]

"Ugh, I forgot what it was like to wake up before the sun started rising." Naruto said as he followed behind an exuberant Negi as he hummed a little tune. He laughed, "Geez Negi, at least wait until we get there to start freaking out."

"I can't help it! It isn't just about us finding my father's old house, but we're going to the ancient capital of Japan! It's an honor and privilege to be able to go there for an entire week!" Negi started to giggle happily while Chamo popped out of his suit.

"It's fine that you're all excited Aniki but remember what you have to do when you get there."

"I'm fine Chamo-kun, I won't forget my job. I've got the letter-" Negi touched his breast pocket and felt nothing in it. He touched his pockets, back pockets, checked his bag and sleeves. His eyes widened to ridiculous scale as his hands desperately searched over his body, "No! No no no no no no no! I lost it!"

"Lost it! Where the hell could you leave it?!"

"I-I don't know! Maybe it's back in our room or-or-" Naruto handed him a little envelope during his freak out, "Oh, thank you. Anyway, let's go look back in the room again before we-"

Negi looked down at the letter he was handed. He looked up at Naruto with pitiful, watery eyes, "Naruto-San~, that wasn't funny."

"Heh, it's kinda funny."

"Come on Aniue, that's not cool." Chamo chided Naruto for his thieving hands, "Aniki is sensitive towards his work."

"Yeah well that just proves that you have to keep your mind on the job Negi. If I could take it, there's a pretty strong chance someone from the Kansai side could too if they want to." Naruto explained before he had a big smile on his face, "I want you to keep that thing as close to you as possible until we meet up with the boss of the Kansai district."

"Why?"

"Because the boss is Nagi's old friend and a member of Ala Rubra. Eishun Konoe-San. You need to make a good impression, and I haven't seen him in years either so I'm nervous."

"Oh." Negi murmured before realizing what he said, "Konoe? Like Konoka-San and Dean-sama?"

"Yep. He's actually Konoka's dad. He's suave, sophisticated and so damn cool." Naruto said as he gave an ear to ear smile in remembering the awesome swordsman from so long ago.

Negi had a twinkle in his eye in amazement, "Really?"

"Yeah. He's the only other member of Ala Rubra that's still kickin' here on Earth so make sure to show your respect when we get there."

"Hai!"

The two teachers arrived at the train station in the early hours of the day. Which made it seem weird that a good chunk of the class was already waiting to go.

Negi waved to his class, "Everyone! Good morning! You're all up early!"

"Morning Negi-kun!" Makie yelled before she started running over to meet him. "We were all excited about going on the trip too so we all came as soon as we could!"

"G-good morning Sensei." Nodoka sheepishly said to her younger teacher as he bowed respectfully to her.

"Negi-sensei! Naruto-sensei!" Nitta exclaimed as he walked up to the younger teachers with a handsome man following behind him. "I hope that when we actually arrive in Kyoto, you will be able to conduct yourselves like proper teachers of our academy."

"Yes Nitta-sensei(x2)." Both boys responded like they were being punished by their supervisor.

"Mah mah Nitta-sensei, there isn't any need to be so serious." The younger man said to the older teacher with an angelic smile, "Negi-kun and Naruto-kun are just excited about being able to go to Kyoto. That isn't something you should reprimand them for, right boys?"

"Hai Seruhiko-sensei(x2)." Both boy's agreed with the younger man that sided with them, seeing him as their savior from the strict ways of the old teacher.

"Hmmm, fine. But I expect you two to control your class if need be."

The two young men saluted the older teacher as he just sighed and walked back over to his assigned class. Seruhiko followed behind and waved goodbye to the younger men.

Naruto walked over to one of the pillars in the station and leaned on it comfortably. He watched as the girls started to talk with each other and share their expectations of the trip. He couldn't help but laugh as Negi kept adding his excited opinion into the talk, seeming the most eager to go on this field trip.

"Can I ask why you came here so early?" Naruto asked no one in particular as he fished in his breakfast bag.

From out of the shadow of the pillar he was leaning on, Setsuna walked out with a serious look on her face. She looked at the easygoing blond, "I was concerned about what might happen on this trip so I came early to survey the area."

Naruto just shook his head, "Freakin' workaholic."

"Please take this more seriously Sensei." The young girl responded sternly towards the easygoing blond, "This isn't a matter to be taken so lightly. You should have been warned that there may be resistance once we arrive in Kyoto."

Naruto nodded, "Yeah. I know. What about you? Why are you so concerned?"

Setsuna gripped the sash of her bag a little tighter after he asked that question, "I just need to make sure that Konoka-ojousama is safe while she is over there. That's all that matters to me. But I hope you do not face any dangers or difficulties while in Kyoto. It truly is a beautiful place."

"Yeah. I've been there before." Naruto added before he turned over a little and held out the last onigiri in the bag, "Want one?"

Setsuna looked down at the offered snack and shook her head, "No thank you. I don't need-"

"Come on~. Konoka made 'em~, they're delicious~." Naruto coaxed while waving the rice snack in front of the Shinmei-Ryū practitioner.

Setsuna's steel resolve wavered a little when he mentioned it was made by her charge. She looked a little uncomfortable for appearing weak-willed in front of the blond until she took the onigiri and held it in her hands. She took a little bite from it while Naruto smiled towards her.

"Good, huh?"

Setsuna just avoided his eyes and nodded her head a little.

[[[[[[[[Knight]]]]]]]]

"Okay everyone, you can now start boarding the train!" Negi announced to his class as they cheered.

Group 1:

"Hey hey hey, no." Naruto chided as he picked the little girl up from her collar like a misbehaving animal, "Our car is this way Fuuka-chan."

Fuuka pouted and flailed her arms, "Awwww~, come on! I'll still be on the train! Can't we see what the other people are doing?"

"Uh-uh, Fuuka no sneaking."

"Aw man."

Sakurako walked over to the little red-head and waved her hand, "Hiya Negi-kun~. Saturday was fun with Asuna's party, don't you think?"

"Yes Shinna-San, I had so much fun at that karaoke parlor. Sorry I wasn't that good."

"Aw it's fine, you were so cute trying to follow the words and sing in time." Sakurako teased the little Welsh boy as his face turned red and he tried to hide behind his clipboard.

Fumika looked up at the taller girl in surprise, "What? You got to go singing with Negi-sensei? Aw, I wish I could have come."

Madoka sighed and chuckled dryly, "No Fumika, that was a long story. Definitely not worth it."

Misa saw her blond assistant teacher and furrowed her eyes a little. She smiled and skipped up to him, "Heya Naruto-sensei, I hear you've got quite the gifted hand with instruments."

Naruto blinked quizzically, "R-really? How?"

"Oh-um-Asuna told me about it!"

"I didn't even know Asuna knew."

"Did I say Asuna? I meant Konoka!" Misa immediately responded while trying to keep her composure.

"Oh...okay."

"Anyway, me and the girls are a part of this little band that does a few jobs around campus. If you want, you can come and practice with us anytime." She said with a beautiful smile. Naruto just nodded before Misa turned and pounded her fist triumphantly.

Negi walked up to the older blond and scratched his neck in confusion, "What did Misa-San want?"

"I...have no idea. This class is so weird."

Group 2:

Negi ran up to the much taller girl with an eager smile, "Kaede-San! Are you excited for the trip?"

The tall ninja girl gave an easygoing smile while munching on a nikuman, "Yes Negi-bouzu. I've been looking forward to going to Kyoto for some time now de-Gozaru."

"Negi-bouzu! Come and eat some nikuman-Aru! They keep strength up until get to Kyoto-Aru!" Ku Fei said as she tried to sell more of her employer's patented snacks.

Negi nodded his head rapidly as he ran off back to take attendance of the class. A shorter red-head stood besides the tall Nagase and watched the Welsh boy run off, "Hey, what's with Negi-kun? You and him have a little bonding experience or something?"

Kaede just threw the rest of her snack in her mouth and shook her head, "I have no idea what you mean Misora-Dono."

"Yeah, sure you don't."

"Hey! I'll take another 5 nikuman please!" Naruto said as he ran towards the chef selling them from a box.

Satsuki looked up at him, "Are you sure about that Sensei? You have already had three."

"Yeah but I'm not eating again until dinner tonight so I'd rather binge now and wait."

"See Satsuki! Don't argue with the man! These are the kind of people that keep the business alive-ne!" Chao said as she grabbed Naruto around the shoulder and held out her hand, "That'll be 600 yen-ne."

"These two make quite a diabolical combination." Satomi observed as Chao happily took the older blond's money, "It never bodes well when Chao-San finds a target in her sights."

Group 3:

Chizuru was having a hard time lifting her bag over the gap and on the train while Natsumi came up with hers. She looked over to her roommate, "Need some help Chizu-Nee?"

"No, I think I'm fine Natsumi-chan. I just-"

Before Chizuru could finish, her bag was being lifted up effortlessly by the handle and thrown over her assistant teacher's shoulder. He smiled down from the train, "It looked like you needed some help."

Chizuru blinked before smiling and tilting her head, "Why thank you Sensei. I guess I need to work more on carrying lighter, huh."

"No. I think this is just fine. It's just a pain to carrying things like this up on the train." He offered her his hand which she took gladly and helped her up on the train. He looked down at the freckled student still left on the platform, "What about you Murakami-San, need some help?"

"Huh? Oh, yes please Sensei." She lifted her bag up so he could help pick it up easier.

Kazumi was off to the side, taking pictures of Naruto's good deeds and smiled wickedly. "Wonder if I can get an article for this? The Good Samaritan Teacher: Kind-hearted actions or Devious agenda?" She turned to the girl standing besides her with an irritated look, "What'd you think Chisame, sound like an interesting read?"

The bespectacled girl just sighed and tried to ignore the looniness of her class. She fixed her glasses, "I think you're just going to blow this entire idea out of the water like you always do in your articles."

"What? How could you think I would do that?"

"Are any of your articles ever simple?"

"Simple? No one wants simple! I give them the honest truth, with just a little bit of flare!"

Chisame sighed, "Yeah yeah. Whatever."

Ayaka was pulling Negi over to their group, "Sensei, if you like, you can stay with our group over the trip. I promise to help you with everything you need to be comfortable."

"I-Iincho-San, I'm not done with my job yet. Please let me go."

Group 4:

Mana grumbled angrily when she saw a certain whiskered blond waving at her with a cheeky smile. Ugh, it was too early in the morning for her to deal with him.

Akira looked over to the dark-skinned beauty as she made an uncomfortable face, "Are you okay Tatsumiya-San? You don't look too well."

Mana realized she had a bit of a scowl on her face and just shook her head. She looked over to Akira, "I'm fine Okochi, just a bit lightheaded."

"Oh..." Akira said as she realized what was wrong, "I didn't know you have motion sickness. I'm sorry but you should try to get some sleep while we are moving so it won't seem so bad."

"Yeah...sure...I'll get right on that..." Mana responded dryly.

"Negi-kun! Negi-kun! Come with our group! I'd bet you'd have a lot more fun with me than you would with Iincho!" Makie said as she pulled the red-headed boy back towards her group.

"Makie-San please, I have work to do-"

Yuna walked up with a spray-bottle in hand, "No! Bad Makie! Let him go! No Predator! No Predator!"

Makie flailed her hands as the spray hit her, "Ah! Ah! *Hiss*!"

Yuna kept the eager girl at hold until she saw Ako stumble in looking sick. She came to her side in worry, "Ako? Are you okay? You aren't sick again are you?"

"N-no...I'm fine, really." Ako said while her face was becoming pale and blue, "I just had too many nikuman before the train arrived. And now...I kinda..."

"A stomachache? Seriously? Are you a glutton or something?" Yuna scolded her before looking at the car she knew the culprit was sitting in, "Damn you Chao! Damn you and your simple competitive prices!"

Akira just shook her head at her energetic friend's statement and rubbed her frail friend's back, "Ako, do you need an aspirin?"

Ako shook her head and smiled, "No really, I'm fine. If I just sit down and rest-"

Ako saw a water bottle held out in front of her and looked up to see the smiling face of her blond sensei. "Here. Have something to drink. It'll help settle your stomach and make it easier to rest."

Ako blushed a little at his kindness and looked down to try and hide her red face. She took the water bottle from his hand, "T-thank you, Sensei."

Naruto smiled and turned around, walking a few feet away and out of their sight. He then leaned against the wall and grabbed his stomach with a blue face, "Dammit. I had too many too."

Group 5:

"Miyazaki-San! Good morning to you." Negi said happily as he ran up to the meek girl.

Nodoka blushed and sputtered a little, "G-good morning to you too, Negi-sensei! I'm-um-I'm really looking forward to the trip."

"I am as well! Have you ever been to Kyoto Miyazaki-San?"

"Oh, I've never been there myself. But I have read a lot of material about its culture and history."

"Really? That's amazing Miyazaki-San! Perhaps you can tell me more about it when we are there?"

"M-m-m-me? I-I would-I mean, if y-you-if I'm really-"

"Ahahahahahahahahaha!" Haruna interrupted as she laughed and rubbed the tears from her eyes.

"Ahahahahahahahahaha!" Asuna cackled as well as she leaned on Haruna's shoulder for support.

Yue finally walked onto the train with a stoic and completely unamused look on her face. Most likely because her busty friend took the seven-tailed fox out of Konoka's arms and placed him on her head. And the little animal also looked stoic and unamused, completely in sync with the short librarian. "Haruna, I don't find this funny at all."

"Then you'd be the only one Yue! This is hilarious!" Haurna wheezed out as she tried to catch her breath. Yue just furrowed her eyes, and to keep up with the image, so did Kyūbi. Haruna backed away in fear, "Oh dear god. It's the indifference duo! They're more fearsome then they ever were separately!"

"Run away!"

Konoka laughed as Yue chased after Asuna and Haruna with a heavy book on the psychological affects during wartime. She walked over to her whiskered roommate and smiled, "Hey Naruto-kun, are you doing all right? Did you eat all the onigiri I made for you?"

Naruto nodded and gave her a big thumbs up, "Of course I did. They were delicious Konoka."

Konoka smiled and giggled at his praise, "I'm glad you liked them."

Naruto laughed but then looked at her in interest, "Are you looking forward to going back home? I bet Eishun-San would love to see you again."

"Yep. I'm gonna try to make time on the third day to go visit him back at my old house." Konoka smiled and tilted her head charmingly, "If you want, you and everyone else can come say hi to Dad. I bet he's missed you."

Naruto rubbed the back of his neck, "Aw, you don't have to do that. We would hate to intrude on your time with your Dad."

"No, I want you all to come. I want dad to see all the friends I've made over in Mahora." She looked off to the side and smiled fondly, "I want him to know how happy I am over there."

Naruto smiled and put his hand on the Konoe girl's shoulder, "I bet he'll be so proud of you."

Konoka looked up at him and nodded her head. There was only one thing that could make things better.

Actually, one girl...

Group-

"Wait? Where's Group 6?" Negi inquired as he looked around for the last few missing members. He grew worried and was about to ask for help when two figures came up behind him.

"Sorry Sensei, we were just putting our things in storage." Setsuna said while Zazie juggled behind her, "I'm the leader of Group 6, but since Evangeline-San and Chachamaru-San aren't coming on the trip we don't have a full group."

Realization dawned on Negi as Naruto with Groups 3 & 5 walked up behind him. "Oh that's right, Evangeline-San can't come on the trip because-ugh, she um-"

Naruto added in, "She's got that thing."

"Yes. That thing."

"Important thing."

"Necessary thing."

"Can't bring her with us cause of it."

"Um, yes." Setsuna said as she tried to bring the conversation back on topic, "Anyway, what should we do about our group?"

Negi closed his eyes and tried to think of a solution. "Well, we need several people to a group to make sure they can watch out for each other without a supervisor. And I don't know if they will let us have just two people to a room."

Zazie stepped forward and just stared at them uncomfortably while juggling.

Ayaka clapped her hands, "That's a great idea Zazie-San!"

Asuna and all the other girls looked at her strangely, "Wh-what did she say?"

"She said that since we have an incomplete group with two people, we might as well break it up and let the members join a different group." Naruto added with a nod of his head, "I think its a pretty good idea."

Negi, Setsuna and all the other girls except Ayaka looked at him oddly. He saw their looks and shrugged his shoulders, "What?"

"N-nothing. Um, Asuna-San, can you let Sakurazaki-San join your group? And Iincho-San, can you take in Rainyday-San?"

"Yeah sure, we got her."

"Of course I will Negi-sensei. I'll do anything for you."

Konoka gasped in surprise before she smiled from ear-to-ear. She ran forward with an eager face as she looked at Setsuna, "Secchan, we're in the same group. Isn't that great?"

Setsuna felt her shoulders go ridged before she bowed respectfully to Konoka and walked away.

Konoka's happy expression fell and she looked so incredibly dissapointed.

Negi and Naruto looked at the brown-haired girl in concern before she turned around and smiled at them, walking back to the train seats. But they knew something was wrong with what just happened...

Because that was the first fake smile they had ever seen her make.

[[[[[[[[Knight]]]]]]]]

As the train traveled down the tracks, the class of 3-A were doing whatever they could to stave off boredom.

Some of them were playing their 3DS.

Others were watching videos on their phones or tablets.

And Negi walked in on a group of his students playing a card game. "Oh cool, what are you all playing?"

"It's a new game that's really popular right now." Yuna said as she looked over her cards to decide a good move.

"It's based on mages and mythological fantasies. It's actually quite compelling and engaging." Yue said with a rather uncharacteristic smile on her face.

Naruto with Kyūbi on his head was looking over a set of chairs with the Narutakis on both sides, "What happened to the good old days of incredibly complex and annoying games like Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh? This game looks way too crazy."

Haruna just laughed, "Ha! It's just because you can't understand the world of mages Sensei. It's just too complex for you."

Some of the girls laughed at his expense as Negi laughed awkwardly. He looked over to see Naruto sporting an unamused face at her comment, "Well ain't that just a bitch."

"Haha! I win Paru!" Yuna celebrated, "Pay up."

"Yeah yeah yeah. God forbid I go starving." She fished in her bag for the chocolates she promised to surrender if she lost, "Stupid ass frogs-"

And when she opened her box of chocolates, there was a little frog staring up at her.

Paru froze in fear with wide black eyes as some of the girls looked down at the box. Their eyes opened in amazement, "Woah, that's so cool Paru. Did you get those weird frog chocolates like from Harry Pot-"

*Ribbit*

The frog jumped out of the box and landed on Yuna's face. It was a slow...painful silence...

"KKKKKYYYYYYYAAAAAAAAAA!"

All the girls backed up in fear and screamed when the frog started jumping from seat to seat.

Fuuka opened up her purse to find another frog, "There's one here too!"

Shizuna opened her thermos as they flooded out of it, "Oh shit!"

Chisame zipped open her bag and saw several frogs looking up at her. She slowly zipped it back up and placed it on the ground, "Fuck that."

Naruto stumbled out of the seat and looked around as the entire train car was flooded with little frogs. "What the hell? What is this, an Egyptian Plague?"

"N-Naruto-San?! What's going on?" Negi tried to step over all the frogs as they hopped around him, "Why are all these frogs popping out?"

"I don't know! But I'm gonna take a little guess and say the Kansai are playing a little prank on us." Naruto said before he felt something crawl up his leg, "Oh shit! One of 'em's in my pants!"

"Negi! Whiskers! Help pick up these nasty things!" Asuna yelled from the ground as she grabbed as many frogs as she could.

"Teacher's down!"

"Healer's down!"

"Out of mana!"

Naruto sighed, "Okay! Anything else we need to worry about?"

Asuna pointed to one of the seats, "I think something's wrong with Kaede."

Kaede's face was dark blue and she was shaking, "M-m-m-mama, d-don't put me in there with the frogs. Kaede doesn't like being in a dark room with frogs."

Ku Fei threw the bag of captured frogs over her shoulder, "That messed up-aru."

"Everyone, try to keep the frogs at bay until we figure out what to do!" Naruto said as he pulled Negi off to the side, "Negi, do you still have the letter?"

"O-oh no! I-um-I don't-" Negi started patting himself over the body to make sure he didn't lose track of the important document. He pulled it out and held it up in the air happily, "Found it!"

"Not like that you idiot!" Naruto said as he pulled the boy's hand down, "Don't hold it up in the air for everyone to see you moron. If they can put this many frogs on a train, then maybe they have someone here trying to take the letter the first chance they've got."

*Swish*

Naruto, Negi and Chamo looked down at the Welsh boy's empty hand. "Yeah, like that."

They saw a bird or something dash through the air at amazing speeds. "Shit! Negi, go after it! If they've got animals on the train then they've got someone from the Kansai side on here too!"

"Got it!" Negi said as he chased after the flying swallow.

During all the commotion, Kyūbi slowly stalked his way to the middle of the aisle while no one was looking. Several frogs looked his and croaked, "You know, I thought I had totally mellowed out over these last few years. And yeah while it's boring, it's a shit ton easier than dealing with all those annoying bastards that used to chase me all over the world for nothing. But as it pleasantly turns out, I'm not completely docile as everyone thought..."

Kyūbi sported the most dangerous, carnivorous smirk he had made in years, "As it turns out...I still fucking detest frogs..."

[[[[[[[[Knight]]]]]]]]

Negi did his best to jump over any obstacles and luggage in his way as he chased after the sparrow flying through the air like a dart. "Excuse me! Pardon me! I'm sorry' I just-Ah!"

The caterer looked at the boy that crashed into her cart before running back down the train, "Sorry!"

Negi panicked when he lost sight of the Shikigami that took the letter as Chamo talked on his shoulder, "If that stupid familiar flies off the train, we're screwed Aniki!"

"I'll try but if we can't find it-"

They finally came to the end of the train. And standing there, with her hand on what looked like a long sword, was the lopsided pony-tailed student he talked to before departing.

Setsuna looked up from the envelope she had in her hand, "Oh, Negi-sensei. Is this yours?"

Negi took the letter she handed back and looked so relieved, "Oh! Thank you Sakurazaki-San! I couldn't afford to lose this!"

Setsuna nodded her head and walked past him, "Sensei, I suggest you hold on to anything important like that while we are in Kyoto." She looked back at him, "Kyoto won't be so kind to those that underestimate what can happen there."

Negi took the ominous words she left hanging in the air to heart as she walked out of his sight. He was left standing there in silence, contemplating what she meant.

"That girl is a spy!" Chamo accused.

"Wh-what? You can't just say something like that Chamo-kun!"

"Why not?! That girl's got suspicious written all over her surprisingly well-toned butt!" Chamo added as he watched the girl walk off, "She's suspiciously hangin' around at the back of a train and suspiciously holdin' your letter with the sparrow now conveniently disposed of!"

"If she really was the spy then she wouldn't have compromised herself by trying to take the letter while in a position where she couldn't run away! Now stop being so pessimistic!"

"Stop being so optimistic Aniki! You didn't think Eva-sama was anything to worry about and look where that landed us?" Chamo sighed and looked up at his partner in worry, "Look, all I'm sayin' is don't put this off as a coincidence just yet."

Negi felt a little paranoid and looked off to the side while walking back. He didn't want to believe it but there was a strong possibility that Sakurazaki-San could be the spy. Of course, he couldn't prove or disprove it either way but still...if he had to, would he have to fight another student?

Negi came through the door and looked up at Naruto, "Naruto-San, I got the letter back. Did you catch all of the frogs?"

Naruto had a bit of a pale face when he said that. "Well, yes and no. We caught a whole bunch of them but a few of them got away."

"Well we need to catch them and-"

"And they ran off into Kyūbi's corner over there."

Negi heard the sounds of ripping flesh and bone as a severed frog leg flew into the aisle. He heard the sound of the demon fox go completely primal on the unlucky frogs that got in his path.

Needless to say, some of the girls got a little paler as they heard the noise.

[[[[[[[[Knight]]]]]]]]

"Everyone say cheese!"

"Cheese!"

Negi smiled in the front of the class picture while Naruto was standing in the back, besides Asuna and Konoka.

After the picture was taken, the class spread out to look at the beautiful sights around them. Naruto stretched his arms out and moaned, "Oh man, just smell that crisp air! Kyoto! The ancient capital! Battlefield of the Ōnin war! Location of the Hamaguri Rebellion! The place Kyo thought he was going to find Sakuya! The land where Kenishin-San fought his fight-or-death battle against Shishio!"

Yue looked up at him, "Sensei, I think you are mixing the real history with what you've read in manga."

"Yeah I know but it's so much cooler in the books!"

As the entire class moved towards the fortunetelling sections of the Kiyomizu temple, they looked around at all the fortune tellers that surrounded the place. Looking for some easy cash to get from some of the visiting girls.

Asuna looked around in amazement, "Wow, look at all the people trying to read our fortunes."

"I know. They seriously think we are suckers."

"You'd have to be a complete airhead to believe in stuff like-"

"Guys! Guys! Come over here!" Konoka yelled to her class as she pointed at a one fortune booth with a curtain, "This woman said she would read our futures for only 100 yen! That's a steal!"

Asuna sighed and rubbed the bridge of her nose. She looked over to Haruna with a patronizing smile, "You were saying?"

Haruna looked at her long-haired friend as she ran into the booth and shrugged her shoulders, "Then again, Konoka's predictions are always right."

Konoka sat in the chair as the old wrinkly woman smiled at her, "Hello young lady, you look like you really want to have your fortune read."

Konoka quickly nodded her head, "Oh yes please! I can't really read my own fortune and everyone else in the club won't do mine because they think they would fail."

"Ah, well lucky for you, I'm one of the best in the business." She took Konoka's delicate hands and started looking at the creases in her hands. She closed her eyes and concentrated for a moment, "Hmmm, I see..."

"A friendship long buried and abandoned...blossoming and blooming strong than ever. I see new friends and wonders like no other. But in this happiness, I sense great danger. Darkness and fear like none I have ever seen before, and you in the very center of it..."

Konoka actually went silent when she said that. Most fortunetellers always said something about finding love and luck in life, but this woman had told her something she had never heard before. And the complete belief she had in her eyes when saying it...

She was telling the truth.

"But, in this darkness, I see a bright light. An angel, a warrior, a magician and knight, running through the darkness to save you. And bringing you to a place you would only believe in your wildest dreams..."

The woman let go of her hands and gave the Konoe girl a warm smile, "Goodness, I've never seen someone with such a bright future."

Konoka came back to reality and meekly nodded her head. She handed the woman a coin and went to walk outside. Before she bowed her head gratefully, "Thank you."

The girls watched as Konoka walked out of the booth stunned speechless. Asuna looked at her in worry, "Well?"

Konoka looked at the booth before back at everyone else and nodded, "She...seemed like she knew what she was doing."

"What did she say?"

"I'm not telling. If I tell you it won't come true."

"That's birthday wishes."

"Either way, my lips are sealed."

"Well now I want to see!" One of the girls said before everyone cheered and started swarming for the entrance.

And for the next 15 minutes, most of the girls got their futures told.

[[[[[[[[Knight]]]]]]]]

"I see great disappointment...but from this, a new drive to make you succeed. And...connecting with a boy you've had your eyes on for awhile now."

Makie gasped with tears in the side of her eyes, "Oh no! Am I not going to get to go to Universal this week?!"

[[[[[[[[Knight]]]]]]]]

"I see great destruction to a place you go to frequently...and a confession of sin to your superior. And then...severe punishment."

Misora's face fell when she heard that and started shaking, "Wh-Wh-what are you talking about? A-am I gonna destroy the church or something?! Is Sister Shakti gonna discipline me again?! What prank did I do this time?!"

[[[[[[[[Knight]]]]]]]]

"Everyone cheers for you as you face down massive beasts, firing at them in the midst of a grand battle. And a name...from within the settling smoke... 'The Kid'."

Yuna was speechless with sparkles in her eyes, "T-that...sounds...so badass!"

[[[[[[[[Knight]]]]]]]]

"I see you giving life to new creations and creatures that flood your mind...like drawings on a page..."

"That's...sorta ambiguous." Haruna said with a befuddled face, "Sooo, am I gonna be a Mangaka? Or a god? Wait! Are you saying I'm gonna be pregnant or something?!"

[[[[[[[[Knight]]]]]]]]

"Hmmm, in your future...I see...a blond man, with scratches on his face..."

"Figures." Mana dryly stated as apparently that annoying bastard was also invading her premonitions. She didn't even want to come in here. Not just because she didn't trust those that revealed her future, but because she had to pay 100 yen for it! She didn't need-

"And he's at the end of...a gun barrel?"

Mana shrugged her shoulders, "Makes sense. Seems like he would-"

"And...he's crying-no...weeping...on his knees...at a dead end...blubbering like a child in fear...and..."

Mana actually got interested when she heard her say that and leaned forward, "What? What is it? What else happens?"

The gypsy woman looked puzzled, "I'm not actually certain. But depending on how the situation continues...there may or may not be urine."

[[[[[[[[Knight]]]]]]]]

Naruto was a little put off by the smile Mana was showing when she came out. And even more worried when she looked his way and smiled rather smugly.

It was never a good sign when Captain Trigger Happy was the one smiling. It usually meant something bad for him.

Most of the girls were talking with each other about what their fortunes were. They all looked very happy and convinced about what they heard.

He felt someone nudge him forward and looked back to see Konoka pushing him towards the booth, "C'mon Naruto-kun! Let her read your fortune!"

"O-oh no, I'm fine. I'm just-"

"Get in there." Konoka said before looking up at him with a little pout. He tried to argue but she just looked like he would disappoint her if he said no again. He sighed and reluctantly stepped into the booth.

He saw the table with the gypsy woman at her seat. He took a seat across from her. She looked up at him, "Oh? A boy? That's different. I thought I would get another girl...unless?"

"No. 100% man here lady. Just got pushed into doing this." He held out his hands, "So could you open the cookie and see what I've got please?"

She gave an old chuckle before taking his calloused hands and running over his palm with her boney fingers. "Hmmm, deep...strong lines...very far away...and very rough...you've had quite the exciting life."

Naruto shrugged his shoulders with a smile, "Yeah. Good times."

"And some bad ones too, I'm guessing?"

Naruto's smile fell a bit before looking off to the side, "Yeah...you could say that."

"You've come from a very far place...and now, you've found somewhere new to come to. Somewhere you never thought you could settle in. And it looks like...you're happy with where you are."

Naruto looked over to the curtain where all of his students were talking on the other side. Asuna, Konoka, Negi, Takamichi, the Old Man. And he was starting to make more friends each and every day. And when he looked back, this was the most peaceful and stable his life had been for some time now.

It was nice. It was fun.

He smiled warmly and nodded his head, "Yeah, I guess I am happy."

"Well, you might get to see a bit of your home again soon."

Naruto came out of the clouds when she said that. What, did she mean someone from Mundus Magicus? "Excuse me?"

"That old home...that far away place that lies in the back of your mind...someone is returning...from the black and the dark and the cold and the unholy..."

Naruto dryly laughed, "No, that's impossible. That place-"

"Nothing is impossible!" The gypsy woman interrupted while pulling him forward to look into his startled eyes, "You should know that better than anyone else."

Naruto tried to pull his hands out of her icy grip, "Hey what are you-"

"Men and beasts and demons and monsters...all foes from long past shall return. Pain, deeply buried and secrets kept locked away will be brought to the surface. And those you have learnt to love and trust will be the ones to suffer for them..."

Naruto shook his head as his eyes stared at the woman in paranoia, "Let go of my hands."

"Protect them. If you can not, then they will be the ones to suffer dearly for your mistakes. Blood and pain and loss and tears will be all that awaits them if you don't change!"

The old woman looked into his eyes, like looking into his soul, "And you shall lose them...just like you lost all of those you loved so long-"

Naruto's eyes widened instantly before she could finish her sentence.

Naruto slammed his hands on the table, smashing it and scaring the woman enough to let go of his hands. He stood up out of the chair with his eyes shadowed by his hair. He pulled out his wallet and tossed a 100 yen coin on the table, "Thanks for the reading."

Naruto walked out of the fortunetelling booth and clenched his fists until the white of his knuckles showed.

Konoka came running up to the blond boy, "Naruto-kun! What did she tell you? Anything good?"

Naruto took a deep breath before looking back up with a big smile on his face, "I don't know. She said something like I'd win the lottery or some weird great fortune. Which doesn't really make sense because I'm too young to enter in the lottery."

"Aww, well maybe she just got it a little mixed up because she had everyone else to work with. Oh well." She smiled up at him and grabbed his hand, "C'mon, everyone's going to the Otowa Waterfall! We'll be left behind if you don't hurry."

Naruto let himself be pulled by the hand as the eager chestnut-haired girl laughed. Even though this was a scene of bliss...his mind wandered to what the gypsy woman said.

His eyes grew heavy as he thought about what there was to lose. Negi. Asuna. Konoka. Kyūbi. Takamichi. Setsuna and Ku Fei and Kaede and Mana and all the girls in his class. Was it all going to just disappear again?

Was he still not strong enough?

On top of the temples, two figures watched as the large group of girls ran through the ancient cities. The shorter figure's eyes focused on one in the group, "There. That's the girl. She's the one Amakusa-San asked us to capture."

"Why are we doing this again?"

"Because we need to assure that when the time comes, we can rely on the powerful allies and summoners to be at our side when we need them. And the leader of the Kansai Association is an old member of Ala Rubra, if we can destroy his foundation and make him occupied with other matters then that would save us trouble."

"That Amakusa woman doesn't have the slightest idea of how to incapacitate her enemies. We should have poisoned the water supply instead of spiking it."

"We're working towards non-lethal confrontation here. No taking lives unless completely necessary."

The taller figure looked back down at the mass of students and narrowed his eyes, "You seem rather enthusiastic to the idea of taking this job. Well...I mean...whatever your mask of a face does to convey enthusiasm."

The shorter figure looked at the red-headed boy at the front of the group and the blond boy at the back of it. "I don't have the same kind of emotional reliance you people have for situations like this. But if I had to call it something, it would most likely be...sentimentality."

[[[[[[[[Knight]]]]]]]

Haruna clapped her hands together and looked at the waterfalls in front of her, "Okay...so...Yue, what's what?"

Yue looked down at the pamphlet, "From left to right; Health, Academics, and Love."

"Dibs!"

"I want that one!"

"Scoot over!"

A good chunk of the class ran to the Love fountain in an attempt to receive a lucky fortune of love.

Chizuru watched Ayaka push everyone else out of the way so she could get a surplus of water, "Oh my, they all look like they are having so much fun."

Chisame watched them ram each other like animals, "They look like idiots."

Naruto was watching from a lower level and smiled at the sight of all of his students enjoying their first day. Kyūbi ran to him from wherever he had been and jumped up on the blond's shoulder, "Wow, I never knew this place was so amazing. We should come here more often."

Naruto was surprised about his pleasant tone, "Wow, Furball, I had no idea you could enjoy something like this."

"Of course. Nine-tailed foxes are considered godly spirits. Merchants are so superstitious they gave me free samples to ward off evil. And they even have fountains of alcohol for everyone to drink from."

"Yeah, hehehahahaha, wait what?"

"Yeah, this fountain right here, it's all sake. Can't you smell it?"

Naruto finally realized what that lingering scent was in the air and panicked.

"What the hell?!"

Asuna yelled as everyone who took a drink from the fountain was now plastered and shit-faced on the ground. Asuna grabbed Ayaka and shook her, "Iincho! Iincho wake up!"

"A-Asuma-san*hiccup* I-I don't say this to chu enough, b-but I..I love you girl. Seriously! I'm not lying. You like-always-first friend I ever had. Excelt-except for Asuna, she's always been there for me."

"She's fucking delusional!"

Naruto ran up the stairs, "Who the hell spiked the waterfall?!"

Most of 3-A started to help their drunk classmates up before thing got out of-

"What in the world is going on here?!"

Everybody froze when Nitta's stern voice reached their ears. They all mechanically turned their horror stricken faces up at the man glaring down at them, "Are those students drunk?"

Konoka shook her head and hands, "N-no no no! Of course not Sensei!"

Yue flailed her arms, "They were just taking a quick power nap!"

"I smell booze! Their faces are red! These students are inebriated!" Nitta looked down at a terrified Negi, "Negi-sensei! I expected better from you!"

Negi shook in fear, "I-I didn't-"

"That's it! THIS TRIP IS CANCELED!"

As if in slow motion, everyone's mind broke from shock. Negi's eyes started to water, "B-but-"

"No buts! Everyone, back on the train! If you all think that just because you are away from the school that you can start breaking the law then-"

"Nitta-sensei~." Naruto's said in a pleasant tone.

"What is- BLARGHFIR!" He choked as Naruto poured an entire cup of spiked water down his mouth.

The entire class looked on in disbelief as he forced the alcohol down the strict teacher's throat.

"You don't look so good! Here, have some Health! You're such a good teacher that you deserve a promotion! Here's some Academic! And I won't even say anything about women! HAVE! SOME! LOVE!"

Nitta fell flat on his back, hiccuping and red as a tomato. Naruto was standing over him, breathing heavily from forcefully intoxicating the advising teacher. He looked up to see the rest of the class staring at him with wide-eyes. "Not. A. Word."

"N-n-n-Naruto-San! Wh-what did you-" Negi sputtered.

"Whiskers! What the hell? You basically just poisoned Nitta-sensei!"

"You want to talk about the fucking morality of what I just did while we're surrounded by drunk middle-schoolers?!" He picked Nitta up by the legs, "Everyone grab a drunk girl and take them to the bus!"

3-A didn't know how to react to what happened in front of them. So they just followed along and picked up a drunk girl.

[[[[[[[[Knight]]]]]]]]

Asuna sighed and wiped her eyes tiredly after hearing the explanation from Naruto and Negi. "So, instead of the peaceful, awesome field trip I was planning to have...now we have to worry about dropping off a letter and fighting against an opposing magic association."

Negi meekly nodded, "Y-yes."

"Welcome to the world of magic Bells. It's long, time consuming and it can suck sometimes."

"Yep."

Asuna shook her head and sighed, "Okay then. I'm guessing you'll want my help with this job, right?"

Negi shook his head, "No! I can't ask that of you Asuna-San, it might be too-"

Naruto chopped him on the head and shut him up before he could continue, "Stupid. Did you forget? She's your partner now. Plus, she would help you no matter what trouble you got into." He looked up at Asuna and smiled, "Thanks Bells, it shouldn't be too hard but it's always good to have extra help."

Asuna just smiled back at him and nodded her head in thanks for the support.

Chamo jumped up on Negi's shoulder to grab their attention, "First off, we need to worry about that Setsuna Sakurazaki being the Kansai spy!"

Asuna looked at the ermine in disbelief, "What? Sakurazaki-San is the spy? I don't believe it! I mean, I only know she used to be friends with Konoka but I've never seen them talk together before."

"No! We don't know that yet Chamo-kun!"

"What's to know? If it looks like a duck, walks like a duck and steals the important letter we are trying to deliver like a duck, then it's probably a duck!"

"We don't know if she actually stole that letter!"

"Well even so, she was way too suspicious! I mean, what do we really know about that girl?"

"She's not the spy." The group looked over to Naruto as he calmly said that while leaning against the vending machine.

Chamo looked up at him in question, "What'd you mean Aniue?"

"I mean I don't know who it is doing all these crappy pranks like spiking water and filling a train with frogs, but I really doubt it's her."

"Y-you can't just assume she ain't the spy!"

"The same way you can't just assume she is."

"She has to be the spy! Why else would she have tried to steal the letter?!"

"Okay. If she really was striving to stop this peaceful negotiation between the Kansai and Kantou, she wouldn't have given up just because Negi found her. If she was a spy, she would have knocked him out and tied him up somewhere before making a dash out of the train the moment we arrived."

Negi gulped. Would they have seriously done that to him?

"Well where was she when the train got flooded with frogs, or when the water was changed for sake?!"

"She probably could have noticed where the Shikigami was moving down the train and cut it off before it could escape. And the water was spiked before we even arrived at the terminal. Several other people had been intoxicated before we even got there."

Chamo tired to argue so he dipped into Negi's bag and pulled out his notebook. He pointed to the picture of Setsuna on the roster, "Look! It says she's from Kyoto! And she's part of the Kaminaru-Ryū! Explain that!"

"That says Shinmei-Ryū."

"Whatever."

"And so what, Konoka's from Kyoto too. And Bells just said that she used to be friends with Konoka. Plus, I know she came to Mahora to be her bodyguard because Konoka's dad asked her to."

Chamo shook his head, "So what?! Have you never heard of an inside man?! Or a bodyguard that might take their job just a little too seriously?!"

"Look!" Naruto yelled as to stop the continuous back and forth, "We can keep going on about this crap all night until one of us passes out! But until we have proof about either side please, just trust me on this. I don't believe she is a spy."

Everyone looked at him in apprehension. They would have trusted him on any other matter, but this was just too much of a wild card.

Kyūbi looked over at him, "And why exactly do you think she isn't a spy, Brat?"

Naruto looked at the fox before looking at his team, "Because I trust her. And that's all we need."

Negi looked up at the certainty in his eyes before nodding his head, "Okay, I believe you. I'll trust in Sakurazaki-San for now."

Naruto smiled and mouthed a silent thank you to him.

Shizuna walked over to them in a yukata, "Boys, the baths are open. I suggest you take your wash now before the students have to."

The two teachers complied and walked off to take their bath as Asuna went to join the rest of her group.

[[[[[[[[Knight]]]]]]]]

The only people in the bath were Negi, Chamo and Naruto. Kyūbi had run off to their bedroom to entertain the girls before taking a nap.

Naruto was washing his body and let the cold water pour over him before he made his way to the hot bath.

"Naruto-San?"

Naruto looked over to the red-head, "Hmm?"

"Are you...scared?"

Naruto thought for a moment and tilted his head, "Scared of what?"

"You know, of missions like this. I can't help but think about what would happen if I screw this all up."

"Aw c'mon Aniki, don't think like that."

"I'm serious. What if I lose the letter and a war starts between the two factions? Then I would be responsible. And if one of the girls got hurt because of me, th-then I would-"

"Negi! Relax." Naruto said as he ran into the bath and put his hand on the Welsh boy's shoulder to calm him down. He was close to hyperventilating out of worry that he might ruin everything, "Believe me, Eishun-San and the Old Man will do whatever they can to make sure there isn't a war. This letter is a peace offering to show both sides that they can work together. Things are gonna be fine. I'm here, and so is Chamo and Bells. Trust us."

Negi took some deep breathes and tried to calm down. Naruto leaned back and closed his eyes, "I promise I'll help you in every way I can Negi."

Negi looked up to the blond, "Really?"

"Yeah. I promise to help you if you are in danger. If you need protection, I'll do whatever I can to come by your side as soon as possible. And if you have to face something too big to handle by yourself, I'll be at your side to help you break it down." He looked down at him and smiled, "Cause your my friend."

Negi was speechless. He looked off to the side with an embarrassed smile before looking back up at the blond, "So-um-do you have anything you are scared of?"

"Of course I do. What moron doesn't have something that scares him?"

"What is it Aniue?!" Chamo asked, intrigued by the idea that the confident blond might actually be afraid of something.

"Nope. I'm not telling you."

Negi pouted up at him, "Aw c'mon, please?"

Naruto just flicked the red-head's forehead and laughed, "Hey, maybe I'll tell you when you're older."

Negi just massaged his head, "Aw! Nii-San, you're so mean!"

Naruto stopped laughing immediately and looked down at the younger boy in shock, "Wh-what did you just call me?"

Negi realized what he just said and blushed red in embarrassment. He shook his hands, "Oh-oh no! I'm sorry! That-it just-um-it slipped out! Yeah! I mean, I thought that the way we talked and worked together, it seemed like that's what it was like to have a-a big brother! I-I'm sorry! I won't say it again! I just-"

"Geez man!" Negi was interrupted when he looked up to see Naruto with a huge grin and his own embarrassed face, scratching the back of his neck. He laughed, "What am I supposed t' do if ya jus' go an' call me that outta nowhere, huh? Now I'm all embarrassed an' crap!"

Negi looked up at Naruto as his accent slipped and he revealed just how much that slip of the tongue meant to him. He smiled when he thought about how much Naruto liked being called that, "C'mon Nii-San!"

"Shut up!"

"Why Nii-San?!"

Naruto dove at him and put the younger red-head in a headlock as they both laughed wholeheartedly. Rough housing and arguing like they were really family.

Like they were really brothers.

They heard the sound of the slinging door open and stopped what they were doing. They looked around the big rock towards the entrance, "Did someone come in?"

"Maybe Nitta-sensei finally sobered up and pulled himself down here."

Some of the fog faded as a silhouette started to form in the steam. A shorter shadow then they expected from the old teacher. And more hair too. And an old man like that probably wouldn't walk around like he didn't have-

Oh shit it was Setsuna!

"No!" Negi whispered rather heatedly as they both ducked back down behind the rock, "What is Sakurazaki-San doing here?"

"I think we stayed in the baths too long! It's Group 5's turn to take a bath!" Naruto looked completely befuddled, "Seriosuly, two times in a week? How does that happen?"

They peaked back over the side of the rock to look at the student preparing to wash herself. When they took a second look, they noticed just how white her skin was. It looked so delicate and beautiful, like untouched snow sitting in a field. And her hair was shiny and glossy, showing she took good care of it. Her figure was small and she didn't have much to give in the chest department, but it suited her.

Negi blushed a little, "Wow, I never noticed how pretty she was."

Naruto was just looking at her, completely absorbed by her tranquil beauty. Was she always this pretty? When he thought about it, if he looked at every girl he met for just a moment, would he see just how pretty they all looked?

Negi gasped, "Nii-San! We're staring! Get down!"

Naruto shook his head out of his stupor and ducked back down, hiding the red hue growing over his face. "Shit, thanks Negi."

They ducked down and tried to calm themselves. They looked around to try and find an exit they could escape to. After the event in the bathhouse, they had to grow accustomed to-

"Ugh, this is troublesome. If we face any more problems like we have, we will need to take action." Setsuna said to herself in her moment of peace, "I can try to ask Naruto-sensei, but if Negi-sensei is a Mage he will need to be a part of this too."

Negi's shoulders went ridged while Naruto thought about what she was saying. She was probably talking about the Kansai pranks they were in early and how to deal with it. But if they just-

He felt intent go through the area to see Negi pull out a little wand he kept on the side. Setsuna noticed the presence and shattered a lamp with a rock, blinding them in the dark. Naruto jumped back, "Negi don't-"

"Shinmei-Ryū Ougi: Zan-Gan-Ken!"

Setsuna drew her sword and split the rock they were hiding behind clean in half. Cutting off the little antenna on Negi's head and possibly mentally scarring him for life. Naruto was impressed at her skill and form in the moment before he came back to what was actually happening.

Negi used a quick spell to disarm her of her weapon before she sent a huge amount of Ki aimed at the boy. Naruto dove and pushed the Welsh boy out of harm's way as Setsuna's hands blurred to grapple her opponent. Naruto let her grab his left wrist and threw his right arm down to stop her from grabbing his...unmentionables.

Setsuna glared at the shadowed figure, "Tell me who you are! Or I will crush it and tear it off!"

Negi and Chamo gasped in fear when they saw Setsuna hold Naruto's 'magical staff' hostage. Negi was cowering in fear while Chamo...

"I knew it! I knew you were the spy all along Setsuna Sakurazaki! J'accuse!"

Setsuna looked to the side to see Negi and his pet ermine looking up at her. "N-Negi-sensei?"

She looked at the man she was holding hostage and adjusted her eyes to see...

Naruto's sheepish smile, "Hey. Sorry about that. But I swear we weren't peeking at you."

"N-Naruto-sensei!" She let go of his wrist and blushed a little, "I'm sorry! I didn't know you were-"

Setsuna stopped and looked down to see her hand still underwater, holding on to what she caught. Her red face turned atomic when she realized what she was holding. This big, long, thick, hard, veiny thing in her hand was N-N-N-N-Naruto-sensei's p-p-p-p-pe-pe-

Naruto circled his arm out to reveal she was gripping him around the wrist, "That was a good move to go after the vital like that. If I didn't react, I'd definitely be at your mercy right now."

Setsuna, Negi and Chamo all breathed out in relief. Before they all realized they were naked in a bath and scrambled for a towel to cover themselves up. "Anyway, Setsuna Sakurazaki, you're the spy aren't you?!"

"Wh-what? Of course I'm not a spy!" Setsuna argued to the little ermine pointing at her, "I know it might seem hard to believe, but Setsuna Sakurazaki is your ally!"

"Yeah!" Naruto pointed at Chamo in a smug manner and laughed, "Told you!"

"KKKKYAAAAAAAAAA!"

Before their conversation could contiune, they heard a girl scream from the changing room.

"Was that-"

"Konoka!"

"Konoka-ojousama!"

And before any more questions could be asked, they dashed out of the bath.

Done

And this, my friends, will be the second fic I've ever made to reach over 100k words. Oh, I'm so proud.

When they were on the train, I've read every fic about what they've done. Naruto yells at them that he is their sage. Naruto summons a toad to rally them together. Naruto makes them cower in fear by forcing his presence on them. But I couldn't help but wonder if Kyūbi saw the thing that helped seal him away in Naruto in the first place...what would he do?

He didn't eat them by the way. He basically just did what dogs do when they catch a bird. Rip them up like a chew toy.

And I don't know what possessed me to do that fortune tower bit, but I really liked that idea. I hope you all did too. I first just added that in so I could make jokes later on in the story. Didn't think I was going to make it so tense.
