Celica:
A short small redhead, not Ruby Rose but Celica Carman walked through Beacon arriving from the Airship, having been accepted into Beacon Academy after graduating from Signal Academy. She did the smart thing and followed the crowd not to get lost as everyone ended up in the banquet hall to hear to Professor Ozpin's speech. She looked around to see if there were any familiar faces, of course she could spot Yang Xiao Long, the blonde always stood out however she looked to be having an argument with a girl with white hair as she also spotted Yang's sister Ruby next to her having heard she got accepted into Beacon early.
She chose to avoid any conflict, especially on the first day and thought she would have a go at making friends but as she walked through the banquet hall she was a little too concerned on how people were looking at her, she wasn't tall for her age but that actually helped her agility in combat and she was no pushover even though a lot of people would assume she would be.
Passing a super tall guy in armour just glaring at her made her feel uncomfortable, she didn't know what she did to make the guy stare at her but she could pick up the vibes of what his intentions were. Deciding to get out of there was one of the best decisions she could make, out in the open away from the banquet hall she could enjoy the fresh air, Celica hadn't had too much experience for finding friends as she was quite shy and too anxious to approach people. She got along with mostly everyone at Signal but nobody from there were exactly friends she would hang out with outside of the classroom.
Turning the corner she suddenly stopped not wanting to walk into the person she was about to run into, thankfully she didn't crash into someone on the first day as she apologized, she found herself looking at a group of four, one towered over all of them, one was standing at the back of the group keeping quiet unsure if he could see or not, one was dressed so fashionable and had a aura around her that made her stand out as the leader then her eyes fell to the girl with rabbit ears smiling back at her apologizing as well having almost running into her.
Celica nervously introduced herself after apologizing, managing to work up the courage hoping she was talking to other first year students that may be potential friends unlike the other people she had passed by in the banquet hall, as she quickly rambled on about the first day and being her first year at Beacon. The fashionable dressed girl let out a small chuckle and introduced herself as Coco than pointed to her friends introducing her to Yatsuhashi, Fox and Velvet and politely informed Celica that it was their 2nd year and were Team CVFY.
Celica blushed a little and apologized for assuming they were first years however Coco brushed it off telling her not to worry and good luck for tomorrow as she remembered her first day at Beacon, she didn't give anything away but she did let Celica know that they would form teams tomorrow, Celica smiled thanking Coco, it put her mind at ease a bit thinking she could somehow choose some friendly people tomorrow and become friends with them as Velvet lingered wishing her luck.
However once they left she found herself all alone once again, she figured it was ok to just explore the school by herself figuring she could just make friends with her team tomorrow and relax for now. Walking around the school and just exploring helped her, Celica wanted to know each inch and where things were to be helpful of her new team mates tomorrow and hopefully leave a good impression, eventually she had to return to the banquet hall, finally finding a spot on the floor after dodging people and finding an unoccupied spot she let herself drift asleep wanting tomorrow to come as soon as possible and be well rested for it as she was determined to find some good people to make a team and hope to be her friends.
The next morning Celica made sure she was up early, putting her gear away she wanted to get a jog in just to limber up her muscles, she figured they'd have to fight today and she wanted to be ready for everything, plus afterwards she could probably sus out some potential team mates at breakfast, one of her biggest weaknesses had to be approaching people and just to talk to strangers unless she was on a battlefield or sparring.
Remembering back to her classes at Signal when they had formed teams to spar and was given a lead role she always communicated well and exactly knew what she was doing, Celica hated leading though, all the thoughts swam through her head as she was jogging and she did her best to push them aside and focus on what she was looking for in a team mate as a thought occurred about the tall guy in the armour just glaring at her the previous day and made a mental note to stay away from him. Her mind slipped into meeting Team CFVY, they were all quite friendly and she got no bad vibes from any of them even though they looked like a tough team and smacked herself lightly in the face, the answer had been in front of her all along as she thought 'Why don't I just find people like them?' she rhetorically asked herself.
Breakfast at the cafeteria had her at a disadvantage, Celica's new found confidence of making a team diminished as soon as she saw all the tables filled with other students which was a good thing but it had appeared the majority of students had already made a small friendship group or they had one before arriving, she noticed the people sitting by themselves but the vibes coming off of them told her not to approach some of them and pinpointed the fact they preferred their own company even though she wanted to go introduce herself to the cute girl with long black hair with a bow atop of her head reading a book.
She shook the thought thinking not to ask out someone on the 2nd day and she was here to become a Huntress, she pushed the thoughts to the back of her mind as she ate but when she finished she figured they could be on the same team together and become friends, turning to where the girl with the book was sitting to go say hi she found the spot empty, looking around she couldn't see her even after she rushed outside to hopefully spot her. She sighed and was about to go back inside when the announcement came over the P.A system informing all 1st-year students to report to the cliffs.
Diligently Celica left for the cliffs and arrived, she looked around at the beautiful view and when Professor Ozpin started his speech she listened carefully, Coco had left this part out, she gulped thinking she could be partnered with someone mean, after all she couldn't exactly keep her eyes shut and she had to have a partner, she looked at the people to her right and the pads they were standing on seeing the girl with white hair that was arguing with Yang. She wasn't sure if she should try to find her after the argument she heard in the banquet hall.
She saw Yang a few pads down and her younger sister Ruby and figured the sisters probably had a way to find each other, looking to her left she spotted the girl with the black bow at the very end and figured it could be a perfect opportunity if she was lucky enough to land and find her first as to her left was a guy with light brown hair in armour and got a similar reading to the taller guy with the armour that was to her right as she hoped she wouldn't meet the two of them first.
Her thoughts were interrupted though as the pads sprung up launching people into the air, she quickly got ready and just in time too as the pad sent her flying into the air, she grabbed two pistols out of their holster on her waist and shot towards the ground with gravity dust slowing her descent before putting them back in their holsters mid-air and extending a sword blade each from the gauntlets she was wearing and stabbing them into a tree which really slowed her descent as she slid down the tree.
Landing on the ground with a roll and when she stood up she was eye to eye with an Alpha Beowolve, not giving the Grimm a second she quickly backflipped out of its reach as she shot her pistols at the Beowolve's head, angering the Beowolve it charged towards her, with her left gauntlet blade she sliced a portal and jumped into it at the last second as the Beowolve charged into the large rock she was standing in front of.
A second later the portal opened above the Beowolve and Celica dived down slicing the neck of the Beowolve and landed on the ground at the ready in a defensive stance as the Beowolve dissolved and evaporated. Celica rotated 360 degrees before finally withdrawing her blades into her gauntlets but not letting her guard down as she figured out where she was, where she had come from and where she needed to go and started heading in that direction.
Celica listened carefully, the first person she wanted to meet was hopefully the girl with the bow but she wanted to meet someone at least nice and hadn't stared at her like she was prey, she then stumbled across a tall redhead and a guy with blonde hair "Oh you two have seemed to have found each other already" Celica found herself saying trying to sound friendly, the girl introduced herself first as Pyrrha and the guy introduced himself as Jaune, Celica knew she shouldn't waste time as Professor Ozpin did say they were getting graded and so Celica quickly asked if they had possibly seen anyone recently.
Pyrrha pointed in the direction she had been heading anyway saying she thought she heard someone not too far long ago in that direction but wasn't 100% sure. Celica thanked them and thought they seemed trusting enough and didn't want to be rude to ignore the lead as she thanked them and wished them luck as they headed off in another direction. She kept walking looking for any signs of footprints and listening out for anyone or anything until she came across a large boulder, she decided to hop on top of it to get a better view.
Jumping up and climbing the large boulder she quickly stopped, inches away face to face she was staring into the yellow eyes of a wolf Faunus who was taking a break on top of the boulder herself. Celica smiled and when she realized how close they were she leaned back fast blushing a little and apologizing. The Faunus stuck out her hand for a handshake introducing herself as Sylvia, Celica shook her hand and introduced herself as they both said "I guess we're partners" at the same time, this had Sylvia quickly shout jynx. Sylvia chuckled and said Celica's name so she could talk but then told Celica she owed her a soda.
Celica giggled and promised to get Sylvia a soda the first chance she got as the pair hopped down from the boulder and started walking the way they thought the temple ruins were...
