It had been a long time since Jiraiya had seen Tsunade. She had left Konoha after the suffering she faced due to all of her loved ones dying. Nawaki,Dan were among those whose death was intolerable to her.

She now gambled and would drink very often moving from town to town as the moneylenders came after her.She was now in a bar in Karakura town which was away from the Island where the Elemental Nations and Shinobi lived. She wanted to get away from her shinobi life to forget the unpleasant memories that made her leave.

Jiraiya's spy network had informed him at the time that she was now in Karakura Town. He didnt have many spies outside the Elemental Island so this was excellent information for him and now they had knowledge of Tsunade's whereabouts.

The Pervert Sage travelled along with Naruto for a 2 day journey by land and sea and during that time he showed Naruto the steps to the Rasengan and was surprised to see the blonde grasping it quite quickly. Naruto had surprised him by managing to pull of the first two steps in the two days and almost pulling off the third step with the assistance of a shadow clone.

When Jiraiya wasnt training him he meditated and trained with his zanpakuto spirit within his mindscape learning her name now revealed to be "Kaze No Hikari (風の光)" which translates to Light of the Wind. This could be due to the fact that he had an extremely high affinity for the element of wind which was super rare to find.

"So you're telling me that there are two transformations of you Shikai and Bankai which I can use in battle.Shikai being the unsealed stage and Bankai being the most powerful stage?" asked Naruto in awe."You are right for most of the part however the transformation refers to the Zanapakuto and not to my spirit." she informed.

"So I know how to use the Shikai by calling out your name but what about Bankai? And is there something beyond Bankai to learn?" Naruto asked curiously.

"You will learn Bankai when you bind my spirit to you and force me to submit but that wont happen now as you will have to master the Shikai first to do that. There is no form beyond Bankai as of my knowledge however there is a legend that you can go beyond Bankai, a form called Shukai but that hasnt been achieved in over a billion years!" Kaze no Hikari exclaimed.

Naruto had resolved then and there that he would master Bankai one day after achieving it and then he would train as much as he could to achieve Shukai if it possible.

"Also could I just call you Hikari-chan instead of saying your full name everytime?" was the question from the blonde that made her blush and nod.

After the journey ended they were finally at Karakura town and were searching through bars and casinos when they fiund Tsunade drinking away at a local bar. She was flabbergasted at meeting Jiraiya after 15 years. "

Why did you even bother to come here you pervert after so many years just to meet me?Here to ask me out again or something?" she said while being drunk. Jiraiya informed her of Hiruzen's death at the hand of their former teammate and that they were there to recruit her as the Fifth Hokage.

She was furious and even said that the Hokage is a job that she would never take and disrespected the title. That riled up Naruto as being Hokage had once been his dream and utmost priority but still he respected the title of Hokage, Dreams aside and he wouldnt stand anyone disrespecting it.

"What would an Old Hag of a Sannin know about the Hokage's Job anyway when she herself left the village with the excuse of bad memories while her grandfather and granduncle themself gave their life for the village.

They would be rolling over in their graves thinking of the disgrace and slacker you have become after gambling and drinking for 15 years to forget and movenpn from the supposed 'bad memories'. " said Naruto furiously.

This earned him a glare from the Slug Sannin and her emotions of sorrow converted to anger as she was about to erupt in anger and lash out at him. "Lets take things out Gaki and Ill show you the wrath of Tsunade the greatest medical ninja in the history of shinobi" and they walked out of the bar.

"All I need is one finger to beat the likes of you said Tsunade" as Jiraiya shivered and prayed for the safety of Naruto though he knew his teammate wouldnt go so far as to kill him.

"I have a deal for you brat.If you defeat me,I come to Konoha no questions asked and become the Hokage but if I win then you give me all your life savings." said a confident Tsunade.

"Bring it on old hag" said Naruto to infuriate her even more as she rushed at him with one finger pointed toward him laced with chakra however he flash stepped away and she couldnt even realize that she had been narrowly cut on the index finger before it began to hurt a little.

"You're pathetic.Either all these years of slacking off has made you sloppy or you were too weak to begin with as I a mere gennin escaped from the attack of you a supposed legendary ninja.I havent even mentioned the little cut I gave you on the finger with my sword, had it been someone else you would hadve ended up dead with no one caring about it".

Tsunade was shocked to the core after seeing him escape and the cut that was placed on her finger mocking her. She realised that she now was but a shell of the power she had in the past. The emotional impact of realisation and seeing the blood dripping of from her fingers which sparked her fear was too much as she started to cry silent tears at the memory of Nawaki, her brothers death flooding in. Shizune started consoling her while Jiraiya recovering from the shock at Naruto's skills reprimanded hin for being too harsh on her.

"What were those skills you displayed back there?You never told me you learnt new skills while we were training?" asked a curious Jiraiya.

"I agree that I was harsh on her but it was much needed for getting her onto track again. As for my skills, I will inform you about those when I feel it would be appropriate." said Naruto.

Jiraiya just nodded with patience focusing on the matter at hand which was to book a hotel for the night for him,the blonde and the now unconscious Tsunade along with Shizune.

The next day they made preparations to return to Konoha but they were interrupted by Orochimaru.

"Its been quite some time since we three were together hasnt it" he said with mockery. "Why are you here?" asked Jiraiya gritting his teeth at his former teammate for killing their sensei and invading Konoha causing destruction. "Well it doesnt matter, All I ask is for my arms to be healed by Tsunade and I wont bother you all. Refuse and I might resort to killing you." he said calmly. "There is no way she would after what you did to sensei.I wouldnt let it happen as long as I'm alive" said Jiraiya furiously. "I feared this would happen. You're in my way so I have no other choice now" said the Snake Sannin as he instructed Kabuto to deal with Naruto and Tsunade. Kabuto nodded and lunged at Tsunade with his chakra scalpels trying to go for the heart but she dodged and delivered a strike to his other hand immobilizing it.

(Flashback) After that night she had to get in shape so she had started training again.This was partly because that night in her dreams Nawaki,Dan and her Grandfather including her family had visited her and consoled her and asked her to move on and take the offer of becoming the Fifth Hokage if not for herself then for them.

And partly also due to the fact that Naruto had later apologized to her for being out of line. Later she saw naruto train with his sword and his determination inspired her to regain her strength and improve herself after moving on from her trauma.

(Flashback End) Kabuto gained some distance amd the cut his own immobilized arm and sprayed tge blood on tsunade in order to take advantage of her fear of blood but that didnt happen and he got punched in the face hard by an angry Slug Sannin."You think the mere sight of blood is enough to scare me?Well you're damn wrong if you think I'd be fearing some blood after being the best medical ninja known to history of shinobi." said Tsunade as she absolutely destroyed Kabuto with her chakra laced punches. Kabuto however got up each time due to his advanced healing factor. Naruto who was watching the fight got bored so he decide to intervene."Hado #41 Lightning Blade" and he launched forward piercing Kabuto in the shoulder with the Lightning Blade which was slightly similar to chidori but different in many aspects as the atoms of his shoulder were cut to electron levels which caused Kabuto to become paralysed in his upper body. Kabuto jumped back to Orochimaru and informed him that they would need to retreat.

"Not so fast"Naruto said as he flash stepped behind an escaping Orochimaru just to slice him in the back with his Zanapakuto. "Damn it he got away" a frustrated Naruto declared.

"Its fine gaki and I must commend you on that interesting display of skills there " Jiraiya said also frustrated at tge snake's escape but he shook it off as that snake would soon get what he deserves. "Its nothing sensei.I learned new spells while I was training with Hikari-chan" said the blonde with a foxy grin only to receive confused looks from the three people present.

He then explained how he learned the abilities and the name of him is Zanapakuto. "Can we use spiritual energy like you do in battle because spiritual energy is just the pure spiritual part of chakra right?" asked a curious Tsunade which also got Jiraiya interested.

"I really dont know about that stuff but Hikari-chan told me that I could use spiritual energy due to the seal that was placed on me by the Shingami King which caused me to gain Shinigami powers." said Naruto and their query was satisfied.

They continued on their journey but were interrupted again by two people. Them being Ichigo Kurosaki and Rukia Kuichki.

"Who are you blondie" asked Ichigo as they both had come sensing the spiritual energy Naruto had released during tge fight with Orochimaru.

"Im Naruto Uzumaki, Why do you ask?" the blonde in question asked. "Im Ichigo Kurosaki, substitute shinigami and this is Rukia Kuichki who is also a shinigami and we asked because we sensed you unleash reiatsu" said Ichigo and he got a nod from the blonde. "I did as we had encountered an enemy.You say that you two are Shinigami? Well I kinda have Shinigami Powers too because of the seal that was placed on me by the Shinigami King." Naruto explained.

"Shinigami King? I dont believe it" said Rukia in astonishment. Naruto pulled out his Zanapakuto and they became tense but he reassured them and proved that what he claimed was indeed true. Later they were introduced to Jiraiya and the others and that they were shinobi who had come to retrieve and recruit Tsunade.

( A few explanations later)

"Ok so this town gets attcked by hollows much often so you came from soul society to purify them and then Ichigo ended up having your powers after yiu got hurt badly by a hollow?" the blonde asked and received a nod from Rukia.

"Ok I will stay here for sometime and help you deal with these hollows. Sensei, You and otherd go back to Konoha. I'll be there soon" . "You sure gaki?" Jiraiya asked and received affirmation from the blonde.

Jiraiya and others soon left and Naruto stayed in Karakura town after booking a hotel for himself.He also applied for school at which Rukia and Ichigo went. The next day Naruto was introduced nas a new student much to the shock of Ichigo. Rukia didnt mind as Naruto would help them deal with the hollows.
