Before we start. We know that in this episode of the show, Kipo starts showing her mute powers, so I will start showing off Kalena's mute powers as well, but her powers will be different from Kipo's, you see what I mean in a bit. Now onto adventure 5.
Adventure 5
The Astronomers in Turtlenecks And The Fury In Dragons
The Past
After Jamack was taken by Rabbecka, Jamack was taken to the school, that's where he escaped, and used a colon to remove the baby bunny fur smell. Once he was clear, he went back to the lake, but when he got there, he was greeted with some angry Mob Frogs. The Mob Frogs took Jamack to the boss, where she cut his tie, and banished him from their lands. As Jamack left, the Mob Frogs turned their backs on him.
Jamack then started to wander around in despair, even getting pooped on by a giant pigeon, with two mouths. Once he was clean of the poop, he found himself staring at two flowers, and the faces of Kipo and Kalena appeared on the flowers. Then he heard what Kipo said to him from the flowers. But it just made him mad. "Burrow girl! Scale girl!" Jamack said, before slamming his fist into the flowers. Jamack then got up and started to walk again.
Las Vistas Streets
Back with Kipo and the others. After finding a place to rest for the night, they got up first thing in the morning and started to follow Benson through the streets, but as the sun reached high noon, Kipo started to complain. "So, Benson, where are you taking us?" Kipo asked Benson. "Kipo…" Benson said to Kipo. "Come one! We've been walking for forever." Kipo said to Benson. "It's only been a few hours. We really need to work on your stamina." Kalena said to Kipo. "Not helping Kalena." Kipo said to Kalena.
"Benson I know you said it was a surprise. But what if I guessed?" Kipo asked Benson. Benson said nothing. "I've got it! You're taking us to a mystical blind woman who lives in the trunk of a spooky old tree. And doesn't need eyes because what she can see is the future." Kipo said to Benson. "OK. First of all, Kalena's right, it's only been a few hours, and second, what?" Benson asked Kipo. "Yeah, where did that crazy idea come from?" Kalena asked Kipo.
"She's not gonna stop. Just tell us." Wolf said to everyone, and asked Benson. "Look, if there's one thing I've learned in all my time on the surface, it's that you gotta enjoy the journey. Not just the destination." Benson said to Kipo. "So you have no idea where we're going?" Kalena asked Benson. "I do. So, everyone shut up and enjoy the journey!" Benson said to everyone, getting a little annoyed. This caught everyone, but Aqua, off guard. "Forgive him. Benson gets very cranky when he's hungry." Aqua said to everyone.
"Yeah, sorry. We haven't eaten in a while, and my blood sugar is crashing." Benson said to everyone, before getting back to walking. "See, this is why I don't have blood." Dave said to Mandu, leaning on her, while everyone else started to walk. Mandu gave Dave a look, and started to walk, making Dave fall to the ground face first. Then Kipo let out a whine. "Knock it off Kipo, whining isn't going to help." Kalena said to Kipo.
"So, this Scarlemagne, what does he want with my people anyway?" Kipo asked everyone. "Who knows? If he's using mind control on a Mega Mute, I guess he could try to use it on them." Wolf said to Kipo. "I've heard that he is a Mega Mute and he used his mind control to make people walk right into his mouth." Dave said to Kipo. "What?! I don't want my dad to walk into a mouth!" Kipo said, freaking out a little. "Nobody's walking into anyone's mouth." Wolf said to Kipo.
"Besides Dave's just pulling your leg. In truth Scarlemagne is a control freak. And while I never met or saw him thanks to my phobia. But I've heard about how he used his powers to control his subordinates. I guess he wants more people to be used as cannon fodder for something." Aqua said to Kipo. "Sounds charming." Kalena said to Aqua. "Aha! We're here." Benson said, getting everyone's attention. That's when they noticed Benson lead them to a large bush.
Benson went into the bush. But no one followed him into the bush. Benson then poked his head out of the bush. "You coming?" Benson asked everyone, before going back into the bush. Everyone surged their shoulders and went in. After going through the bush, they realised it led them to a store. "Conven-yen-che. I believe it's Italian for "snacks." Which I need right now, or I'm going to pass out." Benson said to everyone, before looking for food.
"Benson, this is a convenience store. We have them all over the place back home. There are stores that have a little of everything, that's why they're called a convenience store." Kalena said to Benson, as Benson noticed all the food was gone. "No, no, no, no. No! This was my secret spot!" Benson said. "I don't think he was listening to me." Kalena said to everyone, as they heard a munching sound. They all turned their heads to see Mandu and Virgo eating a bag of cips.
Benson then dived to get the bag from Mandu and Virgo. This made Mandu run away, and Virgo fired a red blob of ink at Benson's face, before flying away. Then Benson landed at the bag, and wiped most of the red ink off his face. But then Benson realised Mandu and Virgo ate all the chips in the bag. "Aaah." Benson said. "It's OK, Benson." Kipo said to Benson. "Is it?!" Benson asked Kipo. "It isn't." Wolf said. "Wolf!" Kipo said to Wolf.
"Do you even have a plan? Because this clearly isn't helping anybody." Wolf said to Benson. "Fine. You don't trust me? The old observatory. It's got a giant telescope that can see the whole city. If your people are out here, we'll spot 'em." Benson said to Wolf, pointing to a poster with an observatory on it, and feeling confident about his idea. Kipo liked this idea, Kalena and Aqua were on the fence about it, but Wolf didn't like the idea at all. "We're not going near that place." Wolf said to everyone, getting on edge.
"What? Why?" Kipo asked Wolf. "Yeah, what's wrong with the observatory?" Kalena asked Wolf. "Benson, Aqua, why don't you tell her?" Wolf asked them, as she walked to the poster. "Well, technically, the observatory is Newton Wolves territory." Benson said to Kipo and Kalena. "Which is bad?" Kipo asked Benson. "Yes." Aqua said to Kipo. "Nah. They just look at stars and talk about math all day. They're a bunch of dweebs." Benson said to Kipo.
"They're dangerous!" Wolf said, making everyone turn to see Wolf slashing the poster. "Wolves are predators. Every one of them." Wolf said to everyone ,as she turned to them. "Yikes! Sounds like someone's still mad at the wolf she's wearing." Dave said to everyone. This made Wolf grunt a little. "That telescope could be the only way I find my people. If there's a chance, I have to take it. Please." Kipo asked Wolf. Wolf then looked at the poster and Kipo for a second. "If we do this, we need a plan." Wolf said to Kipo, as she started to leave with Star. "Yes! We're doing it! I mean, we're planning it." Kipo said with a careful voice, as everyone but Benson started to leave.
And the reason Benson didn't leave was because he saw a box of food on a counter. "Yeah." Benson said, opening the box, only to find it was empty. Then Benson slammed his head into the counter. Aqua then walked back for Benson. "Come on." Aqua said to Benson, pulling the back of his clothes.
Las Vistas Forest
Wolf led everyone to the forest and was about to train them to be wolves. "Wolves hunt Isolated prey. If we wanna survive this, we need to think like a pack and act like a pack. We need to be a pack." Wolf said to everyone, while walking on a tree root that was taller than the group. "Got it." Kipo said to Wolf. "Yup." Benson said. "I got a bad feeling about this." Aqua said. "Can't we be a Tribe instead?" Kalena asked Wolf. "No. Let's get started." Wolf said to everyone.
Wolf then tied a vine to all the humans left arm, and had them copy her motion. "Pack rule number one: Move in unison or die." Wolf said to everyone. Then Wolf tied a vine on everyone, and made them follow her while walking on a high fallen tree. But then Wolf stopped, and it made Dave crash into the ground, and made them fall off the tree.
"Pack rule number two: Listen to each other." Wolf said, as she used her stick to pick up a rock, and was about to throw the rock at a blindfold Dave, and Mandu. "OK, pig. One squeal means jump, two is duck." Wolf said to Mandu. "Huh?" Dave said, before Wolf threw the rock at Dave. Then Mandu started to squeal in response to what Dave was supposed to do to dodge the rocks, but Dave didn't understand the directions and got hit by the rocks.
"Pack Rule number three: No matter what, watch each other's backs." Wolf said, as Kipo and Benson did, some trust fell. But then Dave came up with some food. "Guys, I found a single apple." Dave said to everyone. This distracted Benson and made him run to Dave. At the same time Kipo started to fall, and while Benson didn't catch her, Kalena ran up and caught her bearly.
Then before Benson could get the apple, or Dave could eat it. Kommo-o stacked it out of Dave's hands and ate it. Then Dave and Benson started to complain to Kommo-o. Kommo-o didn't care and roared at them, shutting them up.
"Pack Rule number four: We fight with each other." Wolf said, as Kalena stood in front of Aqua, and Benson in front of Kipo. Then the two teams got ready to fight each other with branches that were full of leaves. But then Benson saw another apple in a tree, dropped his branch, and left to go eat it. But before Benson could reach the apple, Star slashed the apple and the tree into a million pieces. Weeping for the loss of his apple, he didn't notice Kalena abandoned Aqua, and started to hit Benson with her branch.
"And finally Pack Rule number five: Follow your alpha. And Alpha leads and speaks for the pack. The Newton Wolves will only address our alpha. That's just how wolves work." Wolf said to everyone. "And… our alpha is you?" Kipo asked Wolf. "No, Kipo. It's you." Wolf said to Kipo, making everyone look at Kipo. "Why isn't it me? I'm the oldest and best-looking. I'm a born leader." Dave said to Wolf. "On what day of the year, are you reborn as a leader?" Aqua asked Dave, making Dave frown a little.
"And you're a pea-brain. These wolves are nerds. And Kipo is, well, a really big nerd." Wolf said to Dave. "Aw, thanks." Kipo said to Wolf. "We need to be worth more than food. These wolves need to believe we have knowledge to offer. Kipo knows all about stars and galleries-" Wolf said, but Kipo interrupted her. "Galaxies." Kipo said. "Ha! Nerd." Dave said. Then Kalena hit Dave on the head making a small red bump appear on Dave's head.
"She'll keep them talking. They'll let us stay for the night and we'll sneak off to the telescope once they fall asleep." Wolf said to everyone, finishing her sentence. "Can't we just ask? This sounds like it involves a lot of waiting, and my people could be miles away by then. Or inside a mute's mouth." Kipo said to Wolf. This made Wolf get right up into Kipo's face.
"You think they'll be your friends, but wolves aren't like other mutes. Get it?" Wolf asked Kipo. "Wolf, you made Kipo the Alpha. That means we follow her lead. Unless you want to fight for the title of Alpha, then deal with it." Kalena said to Wolf. Wolf then growled a little. "Aren't you forgetting something? Like your choice of wardrobe, maybe?" Dave said to Wolf. "No. No way." Wolf said, holding onto her wolf cloak. "He's got a point. The poisonous stick and, uh, the dead wolf on your back might send the wrong message. Hehe." Benson said to Wolf.
"Then I won't go." Wolf said to Benson, turning away from the group. "You have a pack. You have us." Kipo said to Wolf. "Fine." Wolf said, as she started to take off her cloak. This revealed her large puffy black hair. "Kommo-o why don't you and the Ultra Beasts stay here." Kalena said to Kommo-o. "Probably smart. We don't want to scare the Newton Wolves." Kipo said to everyone. Wolf put her stuff into a hole in a tree near the observatory, and left the Pokemon at that tree. With that done, they left for the observatory.
As they walked Benson's stomach started to growl. "So hungry." Benson said to everyone. "We know Benson." Aqua said to Benson. "We shouldn't call you Wolf in front of them, so maybe you could tell us your real name." Kipo asked Wolf. "Um, yeah. It's Bone Ripper." Wolf said to Kipo. Ah, that's a bunch of- That's actually the coolest name ever." Dave said to Wolf. "Not really, sounds made up." Kalena said to everyone. "Come on. If we're going to be a real pack, you gotta tell us the truth." Kipo said to Wolf, while looking at her, and walking backwards.
This made Wolf sighed. "Why don't you just pick one for me?" Wolf asked Kipo. "Fine. We'll call you Jolene." Kipo said to Wolf, before turning away. But that name made everyone freeze with a shock look on their faces, well everyone but Kalena, who had a neutral look on her face. "Argh. Never mind." Wolf said. "Hey, you asked her, Jolene." Kalena said to Wolf, as she walked past Wolf. "Yeah too late, Jolene. Ha ha ha! Great name." Dave said to Wolf, as he walked past Wolf, leading a starving Benson and laughing. "Maybe next time you'll tell us your name, or pick one for yourself." Aqua said to Wolf, as she walked past her.
Las Vistas Observatory
They then climbed up a small rock wall, and could see the observatory as the sun set. "Almost there, pack! Let's do this." Kipo said to everyone. That's when Wolf gasps a little, noticing a wolf, standing on two legs, with drak gray back fur and some white fur on the from, purple eyes, wearing a light gay turtleneck, and drak grey jacket and pants. "A Newton Wolf." Aqua said to everyone, as more Newton Wolves appeared. "Guys? Pack formation." Benson said to everyone, as they formed a line. With Kipo in front, Kalena behind her, Wolf behind her, Benson behind her, Aqua behind him, Mandu behind her, and Dave behind her.
Then everyone walked in a straight line. But they didn't do a good job walking in sync, tripping and knocking into each other every few steps. This attracted the attention of more Newton Wolves. Then the Newton Wolves started to surround everyone, as they reached the observatory doors. Then the doors were open, revealing two Newton Wolves that looked the same, wearing that same black turtleneck and white pants. But one had darker fur than the other one and was wearing a grey jacket. And the other one had lighter fur then the other one and was wearing glasses and a white jacket.
"Humans, in our territory." The grey jacket Newton Wolf said with a male voice. "Hmm. I think they're a pack." The white jacket Newton Wolf said while looking at everyone. Everyone then tried acting normal, but Kipo, Aqua, Benson, and Dave weren't doing a good job. "I mean, a very weird pack. But a pack." The white jacket Newton Wolf said with a male voice. "They're trespassers. And what do we do with trespassers?" The grey jacket Newton Wolf said to the Newton Wolves. This made the other Newton Wolves howl.
"Brother, brother, brother. Don't be shackled by your instincts. Remember, we're evolved. Let knowledge be our prey." The white jacket Newton Wolf said to everyone. "Let knowledge be our prey!" The Newton Wolves said. Dave then gave a fack cough. "Nerds." Dave said. Aqua then dealt a small kick on Dave's legs. "Do you speak for your pack, bug?" The white jacker Newton Wolf asked Dave. "Oh, actually-." Kipo said, but Dave interrupted her.
"Yep, I'm the alpha of this pack. And my name is Bone Ripper." Dave said to the white jacket Newton Wolf, before winking and smiling at the group. This annoyed Kalena, and she had to fight the urge to bet Dave up. "I see. And what exactly is your pack doing on our turf?" The grey jacket Newton Wolf asked Dave. "We're astronomers. We've come to share our knowledge." Kipo said to the Newton Wolves.
"Oh. We're the most learned scholars on earth." The white jacket Newton Wolf said to Kipo. "What could you possibly share that we don't already know?" The grey jacket Newton Wolf asked Kipo. "There are one-thousands trillion billion stars in the night sky." Kipo said to the Newton Wolves. "Huh. Kid stuff. Everyone knows that." The white jacket Newton Wolf said to Kipo. Which is ten times more than grains of sand in all the world's deserts and beaches. But there are even more ways to shuffle a simple deck of cards. How many you ask? Eighty unvigintillion combinations. That's eight with 67 zeros." Kipo said to the Newton Wolves, pulling out a deck of cards from Benons' back, and started to show it off to everyone.
While she was doing that. Kalena and Wolf were watching the Newton Wolves. And even though the Newton Wolves were impressed by Kipo, the grey jacket Newton Wolf wasn't. "I thought the bug was the alpha." The grey jacket Newton Wolf asked, making the other Newton Wolves growl, making Kipo drop the cards on Dave. "Who, Kipo? She's my student. Taught her everything she knows- about science and math and all that junk." Dave said to the Newton Wolves, making the gang nervous.
"Dave, come on. I'm supposed to-" Kipo said to Dave, but Dave interrupted her. "Bad Kipo! Bad! You know you're not supposed to speak unless spoken to." Dave said to Kipo. This made Kalena turn from nervous to blood boiling rage at Dave. "Alpha-ing. Am I right?" Dave asked the Newton Wolves. This made the black and white Newton Wolves like this.
"This is Jolene. Don't expect her to say much. She's a real pea-brain." Dave said to the Newton Wolves, introducing Wolf. "Of course, thanks to his diminutive size. Our alpha's brain is also the size of a pea." Kipo said to the Newton Wolves, trying to make Wolf look better. "It's true. It's very small. I've seen it. And this is Benson and Aqua, My robots that I built, because I'm a genius." Dave said to the Newton Wolves, introducing Benson and Aqua.
Then the grey jacket Newton Wolf moved to Aqua and Benson. "Robots?" The grey jacket Newton Wolf asked, before sniffing them. "Smells quite human to me." The grey jacket Newton Wolf asked Dave. "Activating demo protocol." Benson said acting like a machine, before dancing like a robot, and beatboxing. "Dance protocol disable." Aqua said, acting like a machine. "Hmm. Impressive. And who's the one with the scales?" The white jacket Newton Wolf asked Dave.
"This is Kalena. She's my newest student, and has knowledge of the new creatures." Dave said to the white jacket Newton Wolf. "Intesting, and what about her?" The white jacket Newton Wolf asked Dave, while pointing to Mandu, who was eating the cards. "Mandu? Oh, she's our glorious alpha's wife. Praise Bone Ripper" Kipo said to the white jacket Newton Wolf, being annoyed with Dave. Then two of the Newton Wolves started to growl at Mandu and Dave. "My alpha, why don't you show them how much you two love each other." Kalena said to Dave
This made them worry, and Kipo gave Dave and Mandu a look, silently telling Dave and Mandu what to do. The two then hesitated at first, but they started to kiss each other. This made Kipo and Kalena grin a little "Well, uh, alpha bug. If your pack has been drawn together by a passion for science, you will find friends here. I am Billions." The white jacket Newton Wolf said to Dave. "And I am Billions." The grey jacket Newton Wolf said to Dave.
"Billions…" White Billions said. "And Billions." Grey Billions said. This confused everyone. "Join us. We can exchange knowledge of the cosmos over dinner." White Billions said to everyone, before walking into the observatory. "Yes, I'm quite eager to see what else you have to offer." Grey Billions said, as he walked backwards into the observatory.
Everyone shrugged their shoulders and went in, as the sun finished setting. Grey and White Billions led the group to a large room with tables and a stage. Their Grey and White Billions turned on a machine, making all the stars appear above them. This made everyone, but Wolf, Kalena, and Aqua, gasp, and impress Kipo. "Hi, Orion. Lil' Dip! What's happenin'. Big Dipper?" Kipo said to the roof, looking at the stars. "Hey, look, that's my sign! Aries! Remember when we saw the real Aries the first night we met? So, in that way, it's kind of our sigh. And look there's Virgo! I should have brought Virgo. She would love this." Kipo said to Wolf and Kalena.
"Newton Wolves! Time for dinner!" Grey Billions said to everyone. Then the group noticed the Newton Wolves, putting napkins on their laps and sat down. Then the Newton Wolves looked at the group. "Your pack may be seated." White Billions to everyone pointing to a table. "Move!" Dave said, as everyone started to quickly move to the table, everyone but Wolf and Kalena, who moved slowly. "Not till your alpha figures out of these is the cushiest." Dave said, taking the head of the table, and making Kipo sit on a side chair next to Dave, and slam her head into the table.
"Shouldn't you sit with your "wife"?" Benson asked Dave, holding Mandu in his arms. "He has a point." Aqua said Dave, as Benson held Mandu closer to Dave. "Don't make me turn you two off!" Dave said to Benson. "My bad!" Benson said to Dave, as he and Aqua sat down, placing Mandu in the chair next to Dave. Then Wolf and Kalena sat by Wolf. "My chair! Come on. Get away!" Dave said to Mandu. All this confused the Newton Wolves.
Kipo then noticed Wolf still on edge. "Hey, it's all right. The plan's working. They really like us." Kipo said to Wolf. "What plan? We haven't followed the plan since we got here." Kalena asked Kipo, before two Newton Wolves entered the room. Everyone turned to see the two Newton Wolves had cocked stacks and two buckets. "Ooh, yes! Beep-boop. I'm starving." Benson said, cating like a robot. "For our guests, our finest fillets." White Billions said to everyone, passing out the stacks. "And for the robots, soup du oil." White Billions said, as Aqua and Beson each got a bucket of oil.
"Apologies if this isn't optimal for your hardware. We still have much to learn about robotics" White Billions said to Benson and Aqua. "Beep-boop." Benson said, whimpering. Aqua just gave Dave a mean look that had a dark aura to it. Benson then tried to grab Dave's stack, but Dave slapped his hand away.
Then a spotlight shined on Grey and White Billions. "Tonight, we are joined by a pack that shares our love of the cosmos." White Billions said to the Newton Wolves. "And if they can illuminate us with some knowledge of their own, perhaps they'll be invited to our dessert hunt at moonrise." Grey Billions said to the Newton Wolves. Then all the Newton Wolves howl. "Yeah, and if they can't, maybe they'll be our dessert hunt." A Newton Wolf whispered to the other Newton Wolves. But Wolf and Kalena heard this. And while it got them both on edge, it got Kalena worried, and made Wolf mad.
Kipo noticed this. "Hey, Jolene and Kalena. We got this. Easy peasy." Kipo said to them, before looking at her stack. "My dad's probably starving, right now. I hope this is a short meal." Kipo said. "And now, please enjoy our nightly ritual. A brief presentation on absolutely everything we've learned about the known universe." White Billions said, before rap music started to play, with him and Grey Billions on the stage.
"All life started with the Big Bang." Grey Billions sang, pouring out a chemical, making an explosion. "An explosion so great. From which we all sprang." White Billions sang, as she appeared from the smoke, wearing an atom costume. Then Grey Billions came and kicked White Billions off the stage, wearing a circle around his neck that looked like a galaxy. "The universe dispersed mass. Traversing space, time passed. Space expanding mad fast." Grey Billions said, as he spun his circle, and as White Billions ran behind Grey Billions, wearing a cloak on his head, and pulling a backdrop that had images of stars on it.
"Stars made of light and gas. Cosmos with billions of stars. Gleaming." Grey Billions sang, flipping his circle to relive it was also a sun costume. "These are the events that brought us wolves into being." White Billions sang, as he flew around in an earth costume. "New-ton! New-ton!" The Newton Wolves started to chant.
"A "big bang"? These dorks have no idea what they're talking about." Dave said to everyone. "I hate to agree with you on that." Kalena said to Dave. "Ooh, let's sneak off and see the telescope while they're distracted." Kipo said to everyone. "No, we stick to the plan. We wait until they're asleep." Wolf said to Kipo. "My dad might not have another night. This is our chance." Kipo said to Wolf. "I'm with her. Cause, one, we threw the plan out the window the second we got here, and two because I don't want to listen to this song." Kalena said to Wolf, as Grey Billions landed in front of them.
"Now it's time to break it down. With every kind of star that has ever been classified!" Grey Billions sang, showing his fangs. "We're talking giants, subgiants, Red giants, Blue giants, Luminous giants. Very luminous supergiants and less luminous supergiants. Pole star. Neutron star." Grey and White Billions sang into Wolf's face. Kipo took this opportunity to go to the telescope, and Kalena followed her, just to avoid listening to the song.
"Just gonna abandon the pack, huh?" Dave asked them, before they could leave. "What? That's not… we-." Kipo said to Dave trying to defend herself and Kalena, but Dave interrupted her. "Just messin' with you. Alpha says do whatever you want." Dave said to them. This made Kalena groan a little before she and Kipo left, with the Newton Wolves singing.
But before they left the room, they noticed Wolf freaking out, by the singing Newton Wolves around her. "Come on, let's make it quick." Kalena said to Kipo, as they started to walk down the hall. Kalena then noticed all the Black Light Crystals over pictures of Newton Wolves on the wall and noticed they all had some form of Billions for a name. "I guess these wolves are clever enough to come up with something better than Billions." Kalena said, sounding a little annoyed. "You sound annoyed?" Kipo asked Kalena.
"Sorry, but that song they were singing is bugging me. A big bang, come on, like that's real." Kalena said to Kipo, as they walked down the hall. "It is. Why does your books say something different?" Kipo asked Kalena, as she followed Kalena. "Yes. Long story short, chaos was how it started, but then chaos made a maker of makers. That maker made two creatures, able to make and control time and space, and that's how the universe was made. And they were all Pokemon." Kalena said to Kipo. "So in your books Pokemon made everything?" Kipo asked Kalena. "Pretty much. But there were some surprises, like the light trio from my home land." Kalena said to Kipo. "Light trio?" Kipo asked Kalena.
"In short, a long time ago a creature that was born of light came to our land, and shared it's light. But we took too much, and the creature of light turned black. Realising what they did, our ancestors gave back the light they took. But it wasn't enough to turn it back to normal. But it did give the souls of the sun and moon the power they needed to become flesh and descend onto the earth. Then they gave their light to the creature, and it transformed back to normal. With all three of these creatures, light rains down upon the land, giving everyone back the light they gave, and even giving more power to certain Pokemon, like my Kommo-o tribe's alpha ancestor." Kalena said to Kipo.
"Your alpha?" Kipo asked Kalena. "Yes. In Alola, alpha Pokemon in a Pokemon tribe are usually called Totem Pokemon. A Totem Pokemon is like a giant Pokemon, overflowing with energy. Imagine if Virgo was as big as you, and glowing, that's a Totem Pokemon. And normally the title of Totem Pokemon and title of alpha is passed down to the child of the current Totem Pokemon, for they have the same powers as their parent." Kalena said to Kipo.
"So is that why you were okay with me being the Alpha early, cause you know you can't be one?" Kipo asked Kalena. "A little, but also because Wolf said we need a nerd to be the alpha. And you are a nerd." Kalena said to Kipo, as they walked passed a Tesla coil that was on. "Oh, my gosh! Is that a Tesla coil?" Kipo asked, geeking out. "I rest my case." Kalena said to Kipo. "No. Focus, Kipo. You're on a mission with Kalena." Kipo said to herself, regaining focus. "I wonder how long that will last?" Kalena asked herself, rolling her eyes. Then they noticed a room labeled Telescope room and went into it
When they entered the room, they heard talking and hid. "What do you mean you haven't found those burrow humans?" A male voice asked. That's when Kipo and Kalena noticed two Newton Wolves right next to the telescope, that was all wrapped up in vines, talking to a hooded figure in a tan cloak, a Pheromosa next to the figure, all of which were standing on the telescopes plainform with a railing around it, and a very big double head pick flamingo outside the window to the telescope, behind the figure and Pheromosa. "You know Scarlemagne gave you Newton Wolves one job right? Or are you all too busy looking at stars to do it?" The figure asked the Newton Wolves, with a male voice.
"Maybe you can take the humans we found today? Is that okay?" One of the Newton Wolves with a male voice asked the figure, whimpering a little. "Weren't you listening? They're astronomers. Billions and Billions want to compare notes with them." The other Newton Wolf with a female voice said to the male Newton Wolf. "Scarlemange wants the whole burrow. Not a handful of nobodies, a pig, and a bug. But I expect you to hand them over when you're done comparing notes." The figure said to the Newton Wolves.
"Of course sir." The male Newton Wolf said to the figure. "Good. Then I'll be going, and I hope you Newton Wolves chose something appropriate for your dessert hunt." The figure said to the two Newton Wolves, before turning around and started to leave. "Big talk from the last of his kind. You don't have any say in what we can and can't do any more." The female Newton Wolf said to the figure, chuckling a little. This made the figure stop and turn around.
Then in a blink of an eye, the female Newton Wolf was on the ground floor, with black eyes, and having a hard time breathing, and the figure standing right where the female Newton Wolf standing on the telescope platform above the female Newton Wolf. "What? What just happened?" Kipo asked, getting scared. "I don't know. It all happened so fast." Kalena said to Kipo, trying to understand what just happened.
"Next time I won't be as merciful to let you live. My kind may be gone, but I'm still here. You would do well to remember that. I'll be back for the humans in a few hours, you better be done comparing notes by then. Come on Maira, we're leaving." The figure said to the Newton Wolves and the Pheromosa. "Pheromosa." The Pheromosa said to the figure bowing, before it and the figure, very quickly ran out of the window of the telescope, and got onto the flamingo, and flew away.
"Great Megan. Now I'm going to miss the rab, cause you angeried Scarlemange's right hand." The male Newton Wolf said to female Newton Wolf, as he started to come down from the telescopes platform, and started to drag the female Newton Wolf out of the room.
Once the room was clear, Kalena and Kipo came out of hiding. "The Newton Wolves work for Scarlemagne?" Kipo asked, looking at the telescope. "We need to leave. Now!" Kalena. Then they heard a weak groan. This made Kipo gasp, and got Kalena on edge.
Back with the others, Benson finally noticed Kipo and Kalena missing. "Wait, where's Kipo and Kalena?" Benson asked everyone, making everyone else notice them missing. "What? No! No! Where are they?" Wolf asked everyone. "How should we know?" Aqua asked Wolf. "I told them they could go check out the telescope real quick." Dave said to everyone. "Are you crazy?" Wolf asked Dave. Then Mandu bit Dave. "Ow! Chill out! It's not a problem." Dave said to everyone.
"And that's everything we learned about the known universe." Grey Billions sanf. "The end." All the Newton Wolves said. "And now, let's hear from our peers. Your turn." Grey Billions said to the group. "OK, that's a problem." Dave said to everyone.
Back with Kipo and Kalena, they found a knocked out Jamack tied up behind a bookshelf, with a Nihilego tied with him, and both tied to a box lifter. "Jamack." Kipo said,. "And here I thought he was rabbit chow." Kalena said. Then Jamack started to walk up and noticed that Kipo and Kalena were in front of him, and tied to a Nihilego. "Of course. Another cruel joke from the universe." Jamack said, looking at the girls. "What happened to you?" Kipo asked Jamack. This made Jamack chuckle.
"What happened to me? You two happened to me! I fought and scratched and hoped for everything I had in this world, and in one fell swoop, you two just took it all away! And now, just before I become dessert for a bunch of wolves, you two show up to rub it in my face, while I'm tied to a creature." Jamack said to them. "Hey, you're the one who chased us. If you left us alone then you won't be dessert. What a minute." Kalena said to Jamack. "Dessert?" Kipo and Kalena asked at the same time. "Uh, yeah. I'm not here to clean the telescope, or tie with this creature for fun. There used to be a tribe of mutes that would stop the wolves from turning mutes like me into dessert, but they're long gone." Jamack said to them.
"You know, my one solace is knowing your people are going down. You see, you're new around here. And I get the feeling scales there, might be wilder than you but probably just as new. Anyway, for years, it was an imperial order, one coalition facing every herd, pack, flock that stepped out of line, rolling through intimidation and respect. Then Scarlemagne showed up. He and the coalition were always at each other's throats over how things should be run in this city. Then one day the coalition is gone, and now Scarlemane's running the show, with fear. He feeds on that fear- and everyone's falling in line. He's the new game in town, and he wants your people." Jamack said to Kipo.
"So. I'm not one that gets afraid easily." Kalena said to Jamack. "I'm not afraid of Scarlemagne as well. Me, Kalena, my friends, and our Pokemon are a pack. We'll find my people before he does." Kipo said to Jamack. "Oh, yippee! I'm sorry, I didn't realize you have the power of friendship on your side! Your pack? They'll abandon you at your most vulnerable. Just like my pack abandoned me." Jamack said to Kipo.
"You got it wrong Jamack." Kalena said to Jamack, making Kipo and Jamack gasp. "Sure it may sound silly to say Kipo has the power of friendship. But she does have that. And I know, because I saw her turn two tribes of mute, that hated us, into friends, or at the veryless made it so they won't kill us right away. And I won't abandon Kipo. My pride as a Kommo-o would never let abandon a weakling like her." Kalena said to Jamack pointing to Kipo. "Ahhhh. Hey wait a minute! Was that an insult?" Kipo asked Kalena. "It was mostly a comment, and a little bit of an insult." Kalena said to Kipo.
"Putting that aside. I think I understand Wolf a little better." Kipo said to Kalena. "So what will you do?" Kalena asked Kipo. Kipo looked at Jamack for a second, and walked towards him. Kipo then united Jamack and the Nihilego. This made them both fall to the ground. "W-Why would you do that?" Jamack asked Kip. "I'm with Jamack on this one. I mean, I'm all for helping the Nihilego out. But why did you help him? He's our enemy?" Kalena asked Kipo.
"Cause it's my turn to do some soul-searching." Kipo said to everyone. "Nihilego." The Nihilego said, shaking. "I think that was a thank you." Kalena said to Kipo. "Well, don't think this makes us even. See you two around, Burrow Girl and Scale Girl." Jamack said to them, as he got below a broken window. Then he tried to jump out the window, only to crash into the nearby bookshelf two times. Jamack then noticed everyone looking at him. "Stop looking at me!" Jamack said to them. The girls then turned to the side, and held their hands to block the sight of Jamack failing to jump out the window.
Then he jumped and was able to grab the top of the bookshelf under the broken window. "Almost there." Jamack said to everyone. "Nihilego." The Nihilego said, shaking again, before floating to Jamack, wrapping some of its tentacles around Jamack, and flew out the broken window. Jamack screamed a little when the Nihilego grabbed him and left. "Well that happened. Let's get the others and go." Kalena said to Kipo, as she started to leave. Kipo then started to follow Kalena, but she stopped and looked at the telescope for a bit, before running after Kalena.
Back with others, Dave was giving his thoughts on the cosmos to the Newton Wolves. "The Earth is flat! That's just common sense." Dave said to everyone, making the Newton Wolves freeze. "Oh, we are so dead." Benson said to everyone, as Aqua slammed her head into the table. "What gave you that idea?" Aqua asked Benson, her head still on the table, "If it's round, why don't we fall off the bottom? This guy gets it." Dave said to the Newton Wolves, pointing to a small Newton Wolf. The small Newton Wolf shook it head no.
All this riled up the Newton Wolves. "I mean, birds fly in a straight line, right?" Dave asked the Newton Wolves. This just made the Newton Wolves even more mad. That's when Kipo and Kalena came back to the table. "What did we miss?" Kalena asked Wolf, getting Wolf's attention. But Wolf just looked at them with a worried/ andy look. "I'm sorry I abandoned the pack… and you." Kipo said to Wolf. "And I'm sorry as well." Kalena said to Wolf.
This calmed Wolf down a little. "Also you were right about these wolves. They're not our friends. They work for Scarlemagne and-" Kipo said to Wolf, but then the male Newton Wolf from the telescope room, came into the room and held the rope Jamack and the Nihilego was tied to. "Desserts has escaped!" The male Newton Wolf said to everyone. "What did you two do?" Wolf asked Kipo and Kalena. "Don't look at me, this is all Kipo." Kalena said to Wolf.
"It was Jamack and a Nihilego like Cloak. They were chained and-." Kipo said to Wolf, but Wolf interrupted her. "You let them go?!" Wolf said to Kipo, very loaded, making everyone stop talking and look at her. Then the Newton Wolves processed this and got really mad. "You just had to yell didn't you?" Kalena said to Wolf. "Oh, we'll have dessert. But if not the frog and new creature, then what will we hunt?" Grey Billions asked the group, as the other Newton Wolves growled at them.
While everyone was trying to figure out how to get out of this, Wolf sighed and grabbed Kipo's wrist before standing on the table. "Not them. They're slow, they're stupid… and they're not a pack." Wolf said to the Newton Wolves, surprised everyone, but more so annoying Kalena then surprising her. "If you want a real hunt… Hunt me." Wolf said to the Newton Wolves, before running out of the observatory, with the Newton Wolves hot on her tail.
"We'll never catch up in time." Benson said to everyone, as they ran outside the observatory. "We have to try! She's a part of our pack, whether she wants us or not!" Kipo said to everyone. "Less talking, more running!" Aqua said to everyone, as they ran after Wolf. "JANGMO-O! JANGMO-O! JANGMO-O! JANGMO-O! JANGMO-O!" Kalena roared while running. "What are you doing?" Dave asked Kalena, while running. "Letting Kommo-o know Wolf's on her way, and she's got company." Kalena said to Dave, while running.
Las Vistas Forest
Meanwhile Kommo-o heard Kalena roaring, and got the Pokemon moving. But before leaving, Kommo-o grabbed Wolf's cloak and stick from the tree.
Meanwhile, Wolf was running through the forest trying to lose the Newton Wolves. But it wasn't going well. She tried to jump over a stream to lose them, but it wasn't going well, the Newton Wolves were tight one her tail. But then a tree was tossed right in front of the Newton Wolves from where Wolf was running to. This made Wolf and the Newton Wolves stop running. That's when Wolf noticed Kommo-o and the other Pokemon running at them.
Kommo-o then ran past Wolf and stood between her and the Newton Wolves. "KOMMO-O!" Kommo-o roared at the Newton wolves, making them back up a little. Then Wolf noticed her stuff in front of her, and ran to get them.
"Come on!" Kipo said to everyone, as they reached the stream. "Where are they?" Benson asked everyone. "They got to be nearby." Aqua said to everyone, as the sky started to become cloudy, blocking a little of the moon light. "It's getting dark." Benson said to everyone. "KOMMO-O!" Kommo-o roared. "Sounds like Kommo-o found Wolf and the Newton Wolves." Kalena said to everyone "Oh no!" Kipo said. "We have to get across this stream!" Aqua said to everyone.
"Exeggutor help us." Kalena said letting Exeggutor out of his Pokeball. "Exeggutor." Exeggutor said to Kalena. "Exeggutor, can you be a bridge for us. Kommo-o and Wolf need our help." Kalena said to Exeggutor. "Exeggutor." Exeggutor said lowering himself to become a bride, having no problem being a bridge. "Come on, let's go." Kalena said to everyone, as she led everyone across Exeggutor. "Sorry about this." Kipo said to Exeggutor.
Soon everyone finished crossing Exeggutor. Kalena then returned Exeggutor to his Pokeball, then let him out of it a second later. "Druddigon, Turtonator, Dragalge come out, we need help." Kalena said, letting Druddigon, Turtonator, and Dragalge out of their Pokeballs. "Now CHARGE!" Kalena said to everyone, as they all ran as fast as they could.
Back with Kommo-o, she was slamming her tail into the ground and growling, and the Pokemon growling Newton Wolves, with the Newton Wolves growling at the Pokemon and more Newton Wolves showing up. Then Wolf came into view, wearing her cloak and her stick in hand.
That's when everyone else found the rest. "She's trapped. The Pokemon may be defending her, but what do we do?" Kipo asked everyone, as the Newton Wolves finally noticed Wolf's cloak. "Is that… skin? Ohh. Gross." White Billions said. "I. Hate. Wolves." Wolf said to the Newton Wolves. Then Grey Billions charged at Wolf, but Kommo-o's tail turned silver, and slammed it into Grey Billions, sending Grey Billions flying into a tree.
That sparked the fight, and Wolf, the Pokemon, and Newton Wolves started to fight each other. "I'll tell you what we do. ATTACK!" Kalena said to Kipo, before she and her Pokemon joined the brawl. Kalena jumped onto the back of one of the Newton Wolves, there she slammed he fist into the head of the Newton Wolf, with the Newton Wolf trying to shake her off.
Meanwhile Wolf was able to use her stick to send a Newton Wolf flying, and used her stick to block White Billions attack. Then Star came from behind White Billions, and flicked his arms at White Billions. This made a flurry of razor sharp leaves shoot out of his arms, and cut up the back of White Billions jacket, and dealing a little pain to White Billions. This gave Wolf the chance to kick White Billions away.
White Billions then landed near Dragalge, to which Dragalge fired a steam of boiling hot water from her mouth into White Billions face. This burned everything but his eyes, thanks to White Billions glasses.
Meanwhile Virgo and Cloak were shooting purple liquid at the Newton Wolves, and a few of the liquid hit the Newton Wolves. This made them weak and a purple line appeared just above their nose. Then Virgo and Cloak fired a glob of goo at the weak Newton Wolves. And once the goo hit the Newton Wolves, the Newton Wolves got a big shock and were knocked out.
A group of Newton Wolves surrounded Groove, getting ready to strike. "Xurkitree." Groove said, before discharging a surge of electricity, making the Newton Wolves stay away.
Then one of Newton Wolves surrounding Groove, was slammed into the ground. This made Groove stop discharging electricity, and made them all look to see Exeggutor standing nearby. "Exeggutor." Exeggutor said, as his head started to glow green. Then a green energy started to form into a log around Exeggutor's head. Exeggutor then came down on another Newton Wolf like a hammer to a nail, and slammed the Newton Wolf into the ground. Then Exggutor raised his head and slammed it into another Newton Wolf. he kept doing this, like it was a game of whack a wolf.
With Druddigon, three Newton Wolves charged at him. "Druddigon." Druddigon said, letting out a surge of red energy. Then the energy faded and his eyes glowed red. That's when one of the Newton Wolves did a jump attack. But Druddigon caught the Newton Wolf in the air, and slammed the Newton Wolves hard into the ground multiple times. Outraged by the Newton Wolf trying to fight him.
The other two Newton Wolves watched this, and stopped in the tracks. Then after slamming the Newton Wolf Druddigon had in his hand into the ground for the 7th time, he noticed the other two Newton Wolves near him. "Druddigon!" Druddigon roared before tossing the Newton Wolf in hand into the air, and charging at the other two. This made the two Newton Wolves run away.
Meanwhile the Newton Wolf that Druddigon tossed into the air, landed on the back of Turtonator's back, this caused the spikes on Turtonator to explode, and deal a lot more damage to that Newton Wolf.
That's when even more Newton Wolves showed up. "I didn't want to do it, but I guess I have no choice." Kalena said, pulling out her Six Pokeball. She opened it, and a large creature popped out of it. It had a round body, a think short tail, tiany legs and feet with two toes, small arms with two fingers, a long neck, a small head given the body, two short entiena on the head, two long flexible horns behind the entiena, white eyes with green irises, five green circles on both sides of its body two behind its eyes and three on its tail, all of which was covered in slim. "Goodra." The creature said.
"Haha haha, a fat slug. Haha haha." Grey Billions said, laughing. This made Goodra mad. "Goodra." Goodra said as a beam of purple energy shot out of its mouth with a dragon head on the end of it. The dragon head opened up and bit down on Grey Billions, causing an explosion. "That's what you get for talking bad about a lady." Kalena said to Grey Billions, as she jumped out her betten Newton Wolf.
But then the clouds completely blocked out the moon, this made everything go black, and made it really hard to see the Newton Wolves. But the Newton Wolves had no problem seeing them. They quickly regained their strength and courage to attack again.
The Pokemon started to let out attacks that could light up the place, with Turonator, Dragalge, and Goodra firing purple energy beams, with dragon head on the end, and Groove letting out another discharge of electricity, but all these attacks just made small flashes, not really helping everyone see the Newton Wolves.
Kipo noticed this. "They can't see them!" Kipo said, getting worried. Then something in Kipo started to change. Kipo's eyes transformed into a feline eye that was pink, not that Kipo noticed.
With these new visions Kipo could see everyone clearly. She could see Wolf, Kalena, and the Pokemon trying to fight, but having a hard time, since the Newton Wolves could see and dodge them. "What?" Kipo asked, wondering what's going on. Then she noticed White Billions about to surprise attack Wolf. "Wolf behind you!" Kipo said to Wolf.
Wolf trusted Kipo's and turned round. And at the last second saw White Billions and dodged his attack, by jumping up. Wolf then landed on White Billions head. Wolf then leaned forward, forcing White Billions into the air, then Wolf tossed White Billion into a tree.
Then Kipo ran to Wolf, with two vines. Wolf then noticed Kipo by her side. "Why are you here? I ran away so you could escape." Wolf said to Kipo, as Kipo tied the vines to her and Wolf's wrist. "Pack rule number one: Move together." Kipo said, as she led Wolf to the Newton Wolves. "Can anyone see them?" Benson asked Aqua, Mandu, and Dave. "No idea who can. But let's go." Aqua said to Benson, as she, Mandu, and Dave started to move towards the others, with Aqua breaking off a dead tree branch. "Wait! Where are you going?" Benson asked Aqua.
Then the Newton Wolves started to attack. "Duck!" Kipo said to Wolf, as they moved as one to dodge the Newton Wolves attacks. "Right!" Kipo said to Wolf, as they moved as one and counter attacked Newton Wolf. "left." Kipo said to Wolf, as they attacked another Newton Wolf, sending it flying.
And that Newton Wolf the two of them were sent flying right where Mandu was. But Mandu dodged it. Then the Newton Wolf recovered and noticed Dave. Mandu noticed the Newton Wolf about to attack Dave, and squealed once. Dave finally understood what that meant, and duck, making then Newton Wolf hit a small tree. Then Mandu noticed the Newton Wolf was coming around for another attack and squealed twice. Dave knew what that meant, and jumped up dodging the attack. Mandu then squealed again, and Dave ducked, doing another Newton Wolf attack. "Yeah!" Dave said.
While looking around for the next attack, Kipo saw a Newton Wolf charging at a lost and confused Benson. "Benson! How's that blood sugar? Because there's a wolf coming straight at you, waving two juicy apples!" Kipo said to Benson. Then Benson let out a battle cry and started to fight the Newton Wolves like he was a martial artist.
"I can't let them have all the fun. I just need to breathe." Kalena said, as she started to take deep breaths and close her eyes. Then her face started to change, becoming longer around the mouth, and having her nose becoming a snout at the end of her mouth. Once her mouth was like this, as she breathed out a very long round with a long frock like tip.
Then Kalena could taste things in the air, but she didn't know why, and she didn't care. Then Kalena could taste someone nearby, it took her a second to realise it was Aqua, who was lost like Benson was, but not confused like he was and with her holding the branch in her hands like a sword. Then Kalena tasted another Newton Wolf, and she could tell from the taste, it was heading for Aqua.
Kalena then leapt into action and had no trouble finding the Newton Wolf. Kalena then opened her mouth, realviling her teeth had turned into fangs, curving back into her mouth. Kalena then bit into the Newton Wolf right arm, which was Grey Billions. This made Grey Billions cry in pain a little, letting Aqua know where he was. This allowed Aqua to hit Grey Billions in the head with her brench, giving Grey Billions a headache Kalena then threw Grey Billions into the air, only using her neck. And while Grey Billions was getting tossed, Kalena's fangs ripped off part of Grey Billions jack, turtleneck, and a little bit of his fur, off him.
Then Kalena tasted the Pokemon around them, as Aqua placed a hand on her shoulder. Then every time a Newton Wolves charged at Kalena tasted them coming, and caught them with her eyes still closed, this let Aqua know where the Newton Wolf was, and whack the Newton Wolf with her branch. This gave them a headache, and made it easy for Kalena to toss them to the Pokemon. And once the Newton Wolves landed near the Pokemon, the Pokemon had no problem betting them up.
The battle raged on for a few minutes, and when it was over, the group and all their Pokemon stood on top of a pile of very hurt and knocked out Newton Wolves, with Benson trying to eat one. That's when Kipo noticed they won. "We beat them!" Kipo said to everyone. "You bet we did!" Kalena said to Kipo. Then Mandu noticed Kipo's eyes, and Kalena's mouth, as the moon started to shine again. But then Kipo's eyes and Kalena's mouth turned back to normal before anyone else, or themselves, could notice the change. But they did feel the change and Kipo rubbed her nose, and Kalena rubbed her mouth, and picked out Grey Billions' Jacket, turtleneck, and fur from her teeth.
Then while picking her teeth, Kalena noticed White Billions trying to sneak away, while on the ground. Kalena then jumped and landed in front of White Billions. Kalena then stepped on White Billions face, preventing him from speaking or moving. "Next time you'll think twice before you mess or hunt dragons." Kalena said to White Billions, as she laced her fingers together, and slammed her hands into White Billions head, knocking him out.
Kipo watched this and noticed Wolf was still in heat of battle. "Hey, it's all right. We're Ok now. We're a pack!" Kipo said to Wolf, trying to calm her down. "Goodra." Goodra said, hugging Wolf. "What? Who's this? And Why is it sticky?" Wolf asked everyone, wondering what's hugging her. "That's Goodra. My six Dragon Type Pokemon. And she's more of a hugger than a fighter." Kalena said to Wolf. "Really?" Wolf asked Kalena.
"Yes. Goodra Is the Dragon Pokemon and is a Dragon Type. It's very friendly towards people. If you grow close to it, Goodra will hug you with its sticky, slime-covered body. Don't get mad. And mine is even more friendlier than other Goodras. She'll hug anyone she likes or hug anyone who she thinks needs it." Kalena said to Wolf. "And you've been hiding this Pokemon, why? Come here Goodra!" Kipo asked Kalena before moving to Goodra. Goodra then pulled Kipo into a hug.
"It's slimy, but so nice." Kipo said to everyone. "I must admit, this is nice." Wolf said to everyone. Then Benson jumped onto Goodra's back and hugged her. "This is nice. Kalena, why would you ever want to keep something like this in your Pokeball?" Benson asked Kalena.
"Cause she's super clingy. I met her when she was Goomy, and she was hugging my right leg like a piece of gum stuck to my leg. I tried everything to get rid of her, I tried asking, I tried force, I even kicked her away once, but she always came back, no matter what." Kalena said to Benson, before Goodra stopped hugging everyone ,and ran to give Kalena a very tight hug. "See… what… I... mean…" Kalena said to Benson, having a hard time talking, and trying to slip out of the hug.
"This is such a wired pack." Aqua said to everyone. "More like a group of people who are pretty good at not dying together." Wolf said to everyone, as Benson finally realized what he was eating and spat it out. "No Wolf, we are not a pack or a random group of people. We're a tribe, a dragon tribe. Once that can't be stopped. Now let's roar in victory over the Newton Wolves." Kalena said to Wolf, as she escaped Goodra's hug, and before she and her Pokemon started to roar. Then Virgo, Cloak, and Groove started to roar as well. Everyone else just shrugged their shoulders before joining in the roar.
After a few seconds of roaring, the roars became laughter. "Kipo, Kalena, How did you two see those wolves?" Benson asked Kipo and Kalena, as the laughter stopped. "I lived underground for so long, so I'm just used to the dark, I guess?" Kipo said to Benson. "And I have no clue, I just closed my eyes and relied on my other senses, but I was wired." Kalena said to Benson. "How was it wired? "Aqua asked Kalena. "Guys, we should get to that telescope before these hairy geeks wake up." Dave said to everyone.
"Dave's got a point, we can worry about who you two did it later." Aqua said to everyone. "The telescope is a dead end. They work for Scarlemagne. He's been using it to search for my people. There's only one thing we can do. We have to destroy it." Kipo said to everyone. "Kipo's right, we have to trash it. But first." Kalena said to everyone, before kicking Dave far into the forest in the direction of the observatory. "THAT'S FOR EVERYTHING YOU DID TODAY DAVE!" Kalena yelled at Dave, before they heard the sound of a broken window. Then everyone started to move, with Kalena returning all of her Pokemon, but Kommo-o Pokemon to their Pokeballs.
Las Vistas Observatory
A few minutes later everyone was back in the observatory. There they started to pull off the vines, with Aqua below the telescope pulling glass out of Dave, Wolf and Star cutting the vines instead of pulling it like the others, Kommo-o and Mandu using their teeth, and Benson eating the cold stack that Kalena left at the dining table. "A little rare, but I'm into it." Benson said to everyone, as he ate more of the stack. "More ripping, less eating." Kalena said to Beson.
Kipo then looked at Wolf, and stopped pulling. "I'm sorry I didn't trust you about the wolves. You were right." Kipo said to Wolf, making Wolf stop cutting and turning away from Kipo. "You had another pack before us, didn't you? And they were wolves. You were raised by wolves." Kipo asked Wolf. Wolf said nothing, but she turned to Kipo, showing her sad look.
"Yeah. And that's all you ever need to know about it. Trust me." Wolf said to Kipo, turning away from Kipo. Kipo was about to say something, but she felt a hand on shoulder. She turned to see Kalena standing next to her. Kalena nodded to Kipo and walked to face Wolf. "Wolf, you don't have to tell us your story until you're ready. But know that now you're in something better than a pack. A tribe. And in a tribe. We look out for each other, if something picks a fight with you, it picks a fight with all of us. And it doesn't matter if you're strong or weak, little or big, we stand as one. That is the power of a tribe. You understand?" Kalena asked Wolf.
Wolf said nothing, but nodded her head yes. "Good." Kalena said to Wolf. "Anyway the telescope is about to come down. This is your last chance to use it, and it can be for anything, looking at the star, or even trying to find your people. The choice is your." Kalena said to Kipo. "There's no time. I won't put my friends at risk. Not again." Kipo said to Kalena.
"If that's what you wish." Kalena said to Kipo. "Wait." Wolf said to Kalena. "You should at least have one look." Wolf said to Kipo, smiling at Kipo. Kipo smiled back. Kalena then moved out of the way, and let Kipo look through the telescope.
Kipo looked through the telescope for a few seconds, with Star still cutting the vine. "So what do you see?" Kalena said to Kipo. "I don't see anything." Kipo said to Kalena. "I'm sorry, Dad." Kipo said, before a light from the telescope shined on her right eye. Kipo looked into the telescope again, to see the moon coming out and the numbers 3.262 written on an old run down billboard. "Three-point-two-six-two." Kipo said, before Star cut one more vine, making the telescope slip and fall out the window. "Wait!" Kipo said, before they heard the sound of the telescope falling down the cliff and crashing into a million pieces.
"What was it? What did you see?" Wolf asked Kipo, as Aqua and Dave joined everyone on the platform. "A massage! A message from my dad." Kipo said to everyone.
Las Vistas Forest
A few hours later, after the group left the observatory. The figure and the Pheromosa, Maira, came flying in on the flamingo. And from the sky, they saw the pile of scrap metal that was the telescope, and flew down to investigate it. When they landed there, they say it was completely ruined and won't be fixed any time soon. That's when the figure and Maira heard a groaning sound. They quickly ran and followed the groan sound.
Then the two of them found all the Newton Wolves, getting up and in pain. That's when the figure and Maira noticed Grey and White Billions on their hands and knees near each other, and in the middle of the Newton Wolves. The two of them then ran to Grey and White Billions, in a few seconds past all the other Newton Wolves.
That's when Grey and White Billions noticed the figure and Maira standing in front of them. Then a gust of wind came by and blew off the figure's cloak and hood, revealing a male cheetah standing on two legs, wearing a brown wrestling singlet and woven headgear with two brown light crystals on the side of his head, missing a left arm with a bitch black burn mark around the stump that was his left shoulder.
"Javin, what are you doing here?" White Billions asked the cheetah, as the wind died down, and the cloak wrapped around the cheetah, but the hood was still down. "I told your Newton Wolves, I would be back for those humans. But it seems that something happened in the last few hours. So care to tell me what happened?" Javin asked Grey and White Billions, kneeling down to meet them at eye level. Grey and White Billions exchanged looks at each other, both terrified. "Well you see…" White Billions said to Javin.
