Two weeks later, at the Holfort Kingdom's castle of the royalties.
Kira is found sitting in a room as he is wearing a luxurious looking tuxedo like outfit that was prepared for him by Balcus and his Family.
"Do all royalties wear this?" Kira asks as he adjusts the collar on his neck that felt a bit too tight for him. "I wonder how the British and European royalties handles their days while wearing such suffocating outfits."
"They all wore them as a dress code, Kira." Hachi's voice replied, the AI's voice coming from a small earpiece attached to the young man's right ear which is hidden thanks to his slightly long brown hair. "I have recorded history that states that during the late 1600s, upon the British Royal Family. They have been following a strict dress code since the monarchy began and..."
Hachi begins to explain to Kira about the history of royalties' dress code as he just listens while his attention is to himself. The young man looks at a mirror as he was very unsure of his looks.
"This might have been a bit of a problem I made…." Kira whispers.
Earlier before the present, Kira had requested Balcus for him to become the Family's knight. According to the rules that he had learned of the world; Knights are vassals of a family household and therefore can be seen as independent people who are given noble titles. This also means that he could keep the island where he found Tori, Hachi, and the Archangel all to himself.
"I wonder how Balcus-san and the others are holding up?" Kira asks as he gets off his seat and goes to the window nearby. "I hope I didn't make too much of a trouble."
"I don't think so." Hachi replied on the comms. "According to my collected records of the Holfort Kingdom, there have been cases of commoners becoming nobles if they are adventurers who done and found historical items and treasures." The AI letting out a few beeping noises. "But mostly are incapable of becoming nobles and such are the consequences of them being hunted is the result."
"I see." Kira whispers as he gazes at the garden below.
When he requested to become a vassal to the Bartfort Family, Balcus was panicking as it wasn't easy for someone to become a noble Family's knight just by asking to be one. However, since Kira had done such a great deed for his family, the man did his best and tried to contact his connections to the Royal Family. He tried to find a way to get the young man to be considered a knight of his family.
It took a while as there were some rejections from some nobles, but the King and Queen decided to accept and therefore brings the present moment of Kira being in the room, wearing a noble outfit, and waiting for himself to be called out and presented to the rulers of the Holfort Kingdom who will decide whether or not he is worthy to be called a knight and noble of their kingdom.
"I do hope that this world isn't alike with ours…" Kira whispers with a frown as he fears the idea of such peaceful lands be succumbed to war alike with his old world. "Yet I still wonder how we are even here?"
"I too am curious." Hachi added in. "it doesn't make sense that we arrive in such a world that defies logic and physic." The AI made a few beeps and Kira turned to see a drone hovering near him. "I'm going to go out and check some more things in this world. To see if I can find answers to why we are here."
"Alright." Kira replies with a nod as he opens the window and lets the drone fly away. The mechanical flying object soars into the air before suddenly disappearing as it went transparent.
"To think that I could make such devices with what was left in those ruins." Kira whispers as the drone along with his earpiece communicator were all made by himself.
Previously during his findings of the Archangel, Kira spent an entire month collecting the resources on the island and using them to make devices that could fulfill his needs. He currently has his communicator connected to Hachi who is on the Archangel and connected to its system, a laptop, some flash drives, and a phone that he keeps on himself at all times.
Kira stares to the outside world before he hears knockings from the door as he turns to see Balcus coming in. the adult man wearing a similar outfit to the young man but more aesthetic in a way.
"Are you ready, Kira?" Balcus asks the young man who nods. "good" he nods and then motions him to follow him. "let's go. The King and Queen will be meeting you now."
"yes" Kira nods as he takes a quick look at the mirror near him. He stares at himself and frowns a bit. "Well…I guess this is a start in a way..." he whispers before he went and walks to the door. Balcus stepped out and let the young man close the door then both began walking down the hallway filled with luxurious objects fitting for royalties.
In another hallway within the royal castle.
There are two individuals wearing King and Queen Clothing while being escorted by knights in armor. They are Roland Rapha Holfort and Mylene Rapha Holfort, the current king and queen of Holfort Kingdom.
Both are being escorted by their knights to the throne for the meeting with Kira who wishes to be the knight and vassal of the Bartfort Family.
"a foreigner, you say?" Roland spoke as he looked at his queen with a curious look on his face. "The young man is a foreigner from outside of our kingdom?"
"That is what I heard from the request." Mylene nods as she looks interested and curious. "The head of the Bartfort Family had requested that a guest of his, the foreigner he saved nearly 3 months ago to be knighted as a vassal of his household. Just after discovering a Lost Item, treasures, and so much more" She smiles a bit. "Not only that, but this request also occurred because this Kira Yamato wishes to be of service to the ones who saved his life, to repay the debt that he has to them. How very noble."
"Is that so?" Roland said as he became more interested. "Perhaps this foreigner might become a splendid noble of our kingdom if he were to become a knight."
The King and Queen arrive at the throne room as Roland and Mylene took their place while their knights went and guarded the area near the throne itself.
"Presenting Balcus Fou Bartfort of the Bartfort Family and his guest companion; Kira Yamato!" a Knight exclaimed loudly as the door to the throne room from the end of the hallway opens for Balcus and Kira to come walking in.
'I do wonder what this noble young boy looks like…' Mylene thought as she believed that Kira is a young man who has great bravery and will to be an adventurer who is a bit childish in her imagination, but when she sees the young man for the first time. Her sense of reality returned. 'This child…'
Mylene looks at Kira as the young man bows and kneels before the King and Queen in polite and respect, but the woman sees him and could instantly tell something was very wrong.
'His eyes...they're…' Mylene sees Kira's amethyst eyes and she was shocked to see an endless flood of sadness, guilt, and utter pain just radiating from it. 'Just what has this young man faced in his young life?' she frowns as she imagines what he might have faced. 'The loss of a family? A lover? Or perhaps something worse?'
"Mylene? What's wrong?" Roland called out to the Queen who made a noise and turned to the King. "Do you have any objections to Kira Yamato becoming a vassal of the Bartfort Family?"
"Eh? Ah? um..." Mylene stuttered as she didn't realize that Roland began conversing with Balcus and Kira, both requesting that the young man is to be knighted and because the Queen was in her imagination world, she missed it all. "I-I'm sorry, but may we repeat?"
"Why so?" Roland spoke as he looked back at Kira and Balcus. "They request that Kira Yamato is to be knighted as the Bartfort Family's vassal. They have come here to seek the acceptance of their request from us." He turns towards Mylene. "So? do you have any objections or not?"
"Um...well..." Mylene spoke as she looked a bit embarrassed for being too much in her head than outside. She coughs politely into a raised fist before she adjusts and looks at Kira and Balcus. "Kira Yamato, please rise."
"Yes." Kira replied as he slowly stood up to his feet.
Mylene takes a better look at Kira and her frown returns when she sees his eyes once again.
'This child…. He has seen through battles. Through wars...' Mylene frowns sadly as she stares into Kira's eyes. 'I have no clue if he really is a foreigner or not, but the pain, sadness, and guilt in his eyes just proves that he is someone not from our kingdom and someone who have experienced war.' The queen gently grasps her fingers together. 'Just where did he come from? And what horror has he faced through?' she felt the urge to just go and hug Kira as her maternal instincts had kicked in. 'his parents, his mother, what kind of person is she to just let her own child go to a war!?' She shakes her head as she calms herself and composes her standing as the queen. 'No, let's not jump to conclusions and just do whatever you think is right, Mylene.'
Taking a deep breath and then letting it out in a long sigh, Mylene composes herself and looks a bit serious to Kira.
"Kira Yamato, may you be truthful for the reason of your wish to become a vassal of the Bartfort Family?" Mylene asks politely. "It is not that common for commoners to become nobles, but you are a foreigner to our kingdom." She raises her hand and waves it to the side. "Yet a foreigner who has no relations to this land, had requested to be of service to the Bartfort Family whose head had been a benefactor for your life. Please tell us the reason for your noble cause in assisting them."
"I only wish to repay the debt of my life to them." Kira replied calmly before he looked down and frowned a bit. "In my homeland, my birthplace. It has been tainted with endless wars that no peace to be given for the likes of men, women, and even children. Blood taints the air, water, and even the land." He slowly closes his eyes when he remembers the utter destruction of the Heliopolis, the civilian aircraft, and lastly Orb's utter destruction. "I who was just a commoner, I was living a peaceful life in my homeland with my father and mother. Yet I was forced to join the war even when I did not desire conflict." He shed a single tear when he remembered the many deaths he had caused. "The War caused utter chaos upon my land and my very life. I was forced to take the lives of many people; I was forced to watch the death of my friends…." He opens his eyes when he remembers the battle that he had against Athrun, both wanting to kill each other with their Gundams. "I was even forced to fight my childhood friend who had joined the opposing side..."
"Kira…" Balcus whispers as he along with Mylene and Roland looks at the young man who is in tears right now.
"I tried to stop the war, I tried to prevent the deaths of innocent people, but I failed many times." Kira spoke as he gently wiped away his tears. "At a point of time in the war, there was a plan to use a weapon that would cause the utter destruction of my homeland and my enemies. It was all caused by a mad man who wishes to destroy the world as it is."
"How terrible..." Mylene whispers with a gasp while Roland looks a bit stern at Kira.
"I was tasked to stop that mad man from causing the death of my family, and friends." Kira spoke as he relived the memories, he had of his battle against Rau Le Creust back at Jachin Due. "My friends managed to destroy the weapon and I managed to defeat my foe, but in the end..." he squinted his eyes when he remembered the explosion that caused the blinding light upon his sight. "I found myself upon Balcus-san's land, injured and weak. I was prepared for death, yet I found myself in such a peaceful land. Saved from the chaos that had tainted itself upon my very being" he then looks at Mylene. "That is why I am indebted to them. That is why I wish to become the vassal of the Bartfort Family. To live a life of peace and to repay the debt I have to Balcus-san and Luce-san who gave me the love and kindness that I had forgotten for a long time." He went and bowed. "That is all, Queen Mylene."
"I see..." Mylene whispers with a sad frown as she looks down and then nods. "Thank you for sharing with us of your land. I'm very sorry to hear that it has been plagued by war."
"Thank you for your kindness." Kira replied before he kneels besides Balcus who patted his back while giving the young man a comforting smile.
"This homeland of yours. The one that is plagued by the war." Roland spoke as he looked at Kira. "Where is it? Is it far from the Holfort Kingdom? Or perhaps near?"
"I do not know" Kira replies while shaking his head for a moment. "In my life, I only knew of my homeland and not the Holfort Kingdom." He raises his head and looks at the King. "Perhaps, my land of origin is far from the kingdom." He lowers his head. "Yet I was able to arrive to the kingdom from unknown reasons."
"I see" Roland spoke as he leans against his throne and crosses his arms on his stomach. "I approve of your request to be knighted as the Bartfort Family's vassal, Kira Yamato." He waves a hand to the side. "You will be given a noble ranking in a month's time, but you shall be under the Bartfort Family's name, understood?"
"It is to follow the procedures of the knighthood." Mylene stated in with a smile. "But since you are a vassal of the Bartfort Family, you are also considered an independent noble who can stand as your own house."
"Thank you." Kira replies with a nod as he is grateful to the king and queen. "I shall do my best to support the kingdom."
After the other procedures were finished, Balcus with Kira left the throne room.
"So?" Roland spoke as he glanced at Mylene. "Do you believe that boy was telling the truth of his homeland?"
"I believe so." Mylene nods while frowning. "I have seen the eyes of many nobles, commoners, and even foreigners from other kingdoms. But that child's eyes…." She frowns even more when remembering the tears that Kira shed when he spoke about his homeland. "They were tainted with pain, sadness, and guilt. I have no clue on what he had faced in his life, but just looking at his eyes, his tears…it's just…." She clenches her hands together. "it's just saddening."
"I see..." Roland said as he closed his eyes and sighed. "Then let us pray for his life that may or may not prosper in our kingdom."
Mylene nods her head as she prays for Kira's wellbeing.
Even though she only met the young man just this once, she knew that he was someone who is in terrible pain that has not fully disappear.
In the hallway of the castle, Kira and Balcus are leaving as they had accomplished what they had come for.
"phew~! I can never get used to meeting the King and Queen!" Balcus said as he wipes off some sweat on his forehead. He then looks at Kira. "It was a tense meeting, but it was worth everything, right?"
"Yes." Kira nods as he is frowning. "But I…"
Balcus looks at Kira before he sighs with a smile and slaps his back once then grabs his shoulder.
"you'll be fine." Balcus spoke. "I may not like to be nobility and stuff, but I learn a few things to ensure my land is safe and prospering." He looks forward. "You got a lot to learn about being a noble, Kira. You are a vassal to my family's household and that means you have to study hard in managing your land in the future."
"Yes. I understand." Kira nods with a smile. "I'll do my best."
"I know." Balcus nods back before he has a big smile as he looks at Kira. "Since you're the vassal to my family, which would mean you have to get a noble name similar with my family." He looks up and smiles even more. "Kira Fou Bartfort, you're going to be a Lower Rank 6 Baron of your own land in a month's time."
"Kira Fou Bartfort..." Kira whispers the name as he smiles a bit. "I like the sound of that."
"Me too." Balcus nods before sighing with a smile. "let's take it easy for a day or two when we get back home, but afterwards you got to start studying hard."
"yes" Kira replies with a nod.
Both chattered together as they walk straight for the exit of the royal capital.
As both passed by a corner, they didn't notice that a pink haired young teenager came walking by while carrying a pink ball that has eyes and a mouth.
"That voice is?" The pink-haired teenager spoke out as she soon walked away. "Perhaps it was just my imagination..."
About five days later, news about Kira who is regarded as a commoner becoming a Baron of the noble ranks spread to the Holfort Kingdom as his reputation of finding a lost item and treasure got him the attention of many nobles who despise the idea of a commoner being a part of the noble.
At the Bartfort Family's Home, Kira is talking to Balcus and Luce who had called on him to inform him of some news.
"The Holfort Academy?" Kira spoke as he held a piece of paper in hand.
"Yes." Balcus nods with a smile while having his arms crossed on his chest. "The best way for you to learn in being a Baron and all is to attend the Holfort Academy for Nobles." He waves a hand to the side. "Nicks and Jenna attend the place and you should too."
"I understand but are you sure?" Kira asks while placing the paper down on a table. "I have learned from Nicks that the school only accepts nobles of the Holfort Kingdom. I am…"
"You are a foreigner, but you have been accepted into the Kingdom's Noble system as a noble of the Holfort Kingdom." Luce stated with a smile. "The King and Queen accepted your knighthood and therefore you are accepted as a noble yourself, Kira-kun."
"Is that so?" Kira spoke as he looked back at the paper. "a Noble."
"Well, it's going to be a bit tough with how much you need to learn." Balcus spoke before he frowns and turns a bit blue. "Especially in finding a marriage partner…"
"Pardon?" Kira spoke as he thought he misheard what Balcus had just said. "Marriage partner?"
"it's in the noble system." Balcus spoke as he explained that those who are of the Baron rank and above needs to have marriage partner to be in the Noble court, the same occurrence that happened for the man and his legitimate wife, Zola. "And since you found an uncharted island along with a Lost Item. You'll be enrolled to the Advance Class."
"So that is a must for the nobles of Baron and above, is it?" Kira spoke as he frowns when he remembers Lacus. "I can't..."
"Kira-kun?" Luce looks at Kira as she becomes worried when she sees him tearing up for some reason. "what's wrong, Kira-kun? Why are you crying?"
"I-I'm sorry." Kira replied while wiping away his tears. "it's just that…when we were talking about marriage partners…I…" he frowns very sadly. "I have someone who I love dearly at my homeland."
"Really?" Balcus asks with a bit of a surprised face to Kira who nods.
"I know that it is a must for I who will be a Baron but…." Kira whispers as he closes his eyes and remembers Lacus who gave him the Freedom Gundam during his time of need to save the Archangel at the battle in Alaska. "I can't be with anyone else. I still long for her." He opens his eyes and looks to the ceiling before looking down and taking out the ring from his necklace. "Even if I don't know if I can see her again…"
"Do you mean that the ring you have is…?" Luce asked.
"It belongs to the one I love." Kira spoke with a frown as he caresses the ring gently. "She told me that it once belonged to her mother, and she had asked me to come back to her after the war in our land was finished." He shed a single tear while grasping the object in his right hand. "But with what is occurring now. I don't think I would be able to return to her as she had wanted."
Balcus and Luce frown sadly at Kira as they didn't know much of his past. but they still care to understand his situation.
"Kira, I understand." Balcus spoke as he went and placed a hand to Kira's right shoulder. "This whole marriage partner thing. I believe you should just forget it." he waves his other hand to the side. "I mean, there're lots of other Barons who don't get married, but they are successful in managing their lands." He smiles and nods to the young man. "I'm sure that you will do great being a Baron of your land, and I'm sure that one day you'll be reunited with the girl you love."
"I'm certain as well." Luce said with a smile. "Your love for the girl might one day help you two reunite. I'm sure of it."
"Reunite…" Kira whispers as he smiles to see the ring on his necklace shining when it gets light from the nearby window. "One day…"
"But I must say that it is a shame that you do not wish for anyone from our kingdom." Luce said with a complicated look on her face as she places a hand to her cheek while sighing a bit. "Our Jenna has been trying to get you, right?"
"y-yes…" Kira spoke as he looks a bit awkward when Luce mentioned the name of the second daughter of the Bartfort Family.
After Kira came back and news of his reputation spread across the kingdom, Jenna has been going around all close to the young man and trying to take him as hers because he was a very high potential husband of the nobles.
Upon cue, the door slammed open for Jenna to come in all cheerful.
"hey~! Kira-kun~!" Jenna cried out as she went and hugged Kira from the back. "Are you finished?! Have you done talking with my mother and father!? If you're finished, then let's go to the town! I know some good cafes there!"
"Jenna-san, please let go." Kira asks politely as he is very uncomfortable with the straightforward Jenna who is acting different than when he first met her. "I'm still not finished; I still need to talk to Balcus-san and Luce-san."
"ehhh~!" Jenna whines as she pouts before smiling. "Then let me stay with you~! I'm sure you have lots of questions that I can answer~!"
Kira looks more awkward than before as he was sure that Jenna was in it for his Baron Rank and fortune.
"Onee-chan, not fair~!" a voice whined as Finley came into the room and went to hug Kira's right arm. "I want to have Kira-san today! I want him to pick me new dresses and everything!"
"No! I'm having him today!" Jenna exclaimed as both sisters started to nag each other, and Kira was in the middle of that line of fire.
"Balcus-san! L-Luce-san! please help!" Kira cries out while Balcus and Luce just stayed and look amused at the scene before them.
Time passes in the world as the day is becoming night.
Upon the Archangel that is upon the Bartfort island's back mountain area.
Kira is within the mobile assault ship and currently at the Bridge, he is working on something directly with the ship's mainframe system as he is inputting a huge amount of data into the ship's weapon, navigational, and power that are being changed to his specs.
"Hachi, how does it look?" Kira asks as he looks at the screen that shows a 3D schematic of the Archangel that has a few parts of its interior getting enlarged and its specs showing. "The Processor unit of the Mirage Colloid System is installed and ready."
"Currently on progress of its activation." Hachi replied from its case as the two are working on a way to bring the Archangel to the Holfort Academy. Both knowing that in the wrong hands, the ship and its weapons can cause destruction to all. "Testing."
Outside, the Archangel has two large container like engines attached to the back and front side that expand and disperses red shining particles that begin to cause the ship to slowly go transparent and just disappear.
"Mirage Colloid System online and working." Hachi spoke as Kira sees several OK signs appearing all over the sectors of the Archangel's interior. "We did it."
"Yes." Kira nods as he continues the work. "But the power is being drained too quickly. It'll only last about 1-2 hours max."
"Then we should only use it when it is out in the open." Hachi replied as the AI starts making some calculations on its systems. "But we can try using those magic crystals we found back at the island."
"Will it work?" Kira asks in a questionable tone. "I mean, it's crystals that can contain a huge amount of electricity after all."
After Kira found the Archangel along with Hachi and Tori, he found many new things about the world as he collected peculiar items that work well with the ship.
"It will work, but it needs testing." Hachi replied. "But since the Archangel doesn't run on fossil fuel, we can test it on the Skygraspers first before on the Strike since there is no fossil fuel in this world."
"That sounds too dangerous." Kira stated as he looks at one section of the Archangel showing up on the screen as it is directly to the main power room. "Perhaps if we find a proper power source. Like using a substitute for fuel."
Kira continues to work on the Archangel's system as he checked every data in the mainframe with Hachi double checking to see if he made a miss of something.
Both worked on it for almost an hour and a half as it is almost 8.
"That should do it." Kira spoke as he pressed down a key and the Archangel's systems has dozens of OK signs appearing before the screen turns off. The Ultimate Coordinator gets off his seat and stretches a bit before walking out. "Hachi, make a reminder for me on the lessons that Balcus-san will teach me on being a Baron tomorrow morning. I'm going to my room for some sleep."
"got 'cha." Hachi replied. "Good night, Kira."
"Good night." Kira said as he walks out of the Bridge.
In a room, the door slides to the side and Kira walks in. the young man started to take off his clothing as he went for the closet that has his own personal clothing stored inside.
"I still wonder how the Archangel even got here…" Kira whispers as he switches his clothes and began to put a normal white shirt, and blue shorts. "My stuff is all here and also the same for the others, yet there is no one here." he frowns. "Is it possible that only I am here? or perhaps everyone else is just somewhere far away?"
As Kira frowns, Tori lets out a cry as the mechanical bird is perched on a chair near the bed.
Kira looks at his mechanical bird companion as Tori twists its head side to side before flying to its owner and perching to his shoulder.
"Tori~!" Tori cries out to Kira as the young man smile and nods.
"That's right..." Kira said as he reached a hand to Tori who jumps upon it. "I can't give up hope." He caresses the mechanical bird's head once while going to his bed and sitting down. "I found the Archangel along with the Strike, you, and Hachi. I just got to work hard in finding the others." He looks up and smiles when he remembers Lacus when they first met. "And maybe…. Lacus too."
"Tori~!" Tori cries out as the mechanical bird flies around the room before landing on the top bunk bed near Kira's bed.
"Good night, Tori." Kira said before he flipped a switch near the bed and the lights went out.
Two months later at the Holfort Kingdom's Royal Capital city.
It is a land that is a large continent that has a nearly modern looking city and by that city is the Holfort Academy which stands just a few miles away from Holfort castle.
At the moment, Kira stands by the gate entrance to the Holfort Academy as he sees it as a nearly eastern European academy school that has a medieval feeling to it.
Kira is currently wearing the formal uniform worn by all the students of Holfort Academy, the young man bringing a suitcase that is filled with his belongings and a school bag that was provided by Balcus and Luce who have been registered as his legal guardian over the course of his studies in the school.
"a bit different, but it's like a school at Earth…" Kira whispers as he looks at the school before slowly walking in. "Hachi, how is it with the departure of the Archangel?" the young man speaking to the AI through the earpiece communicator on his right ear. "Have you arrived at my location?"
"yes" Hachi replied as the AI is controlling the Archangel that is currently in the water of the sea below the capital, the mobile assault ship just swimming through the water undetected. "Alright, I have landed below the capital. I'm going to deactivate the system and put it on standby mode now."
"Good work." Kira replied as he walked past some students that he took a quick glance at. "But still..." his eyes are focused to some girls who are walking around while being followed by a man who is their butler, but that person has cat ears and a cat tail. "I can't get over the Demi-humans of this world..."
"They're not like Natural or Coordinators, after all." Hachi replied.
Kira learns about the Demi-humans of the world as he discovered that their numbers are large, and they are mostly used as Slave by the kingdom. Their work can be in a variety from being personal butlers of many nobles to just workers for labor.
"My world never had Slavery but seeing such a thing firsthand…" Kira whispers before he continues walking while shaking his head when remembering how Finley asked him to buy her a slave. "Just pains me to no ends…"
Kira continues to head for the school's dormitory as he memorized the layout of the academy thanks to Nicks' help. But as he walks, he passes by a group of screaming girls who are going gaga to a group of five teenagers who have handsome features that made all women just drool.
Half of the day soon passes. Kira is now at a bar as there is a huge gathering of male students. He had finished the entrance ceremony as he learned about the school's profession, rules, and studies that he would go through the next day but was having a party to celebrate the entrance of the new students of the academy.
"First of all, let us have a round of cheers for our group of freshmen who have come to our school!" a random senior student exclaimed as he raised a mug up and everyone did the same. "CHEERS~!"
"CHEERS~!" Everyone cheered as the gathering is a welcoming party for the new freshmen students of the Holfort Academy.
Kira sat by the bar with a few students as he wasn't drinking the alcohol served at the place, he was only drinking a cold glass of water and a glass of plain apple juice.
"You ain't drinking the good stuff?" a random student sitting near Kira asked as he is a tan and yellowish-brown young man who looks to be in the same age as him. "You're underage or something?"
"No, I'm just not good with alcohol." Kira replied before he smiles and holds out a hand to the random student. "Pleased to meet you, I'm Kira. Kira Fou Bartfort."
"Daniel." The student replied as he shook hands with Kira. "Daniel Fou Dalant. Nice to meet you."
Both chattered together as they shared some info with each other about the party that they are having.
"Man, for us we're going to live a hell of a life in the academy..." Daniel spoke as he holds a mug of beer that he gently twirls before drinking the content down to the last drop. He places the emptied mug down and lets out a long annoyed sigh. "The rich guys can get any girls that they want with ease, but we have to work hard to get the girls we like."
"Is that so?" Kira replied in a small voice as he looked at his glass of water. "Is it really that important to find suitors instead of the people you can actually love?"
"That is a stupid question." A student beside Daniel spoke out as he has a bob cut long hair and wear glasses. "The rules of the nobles are strict as it is hard to live as Barons if we don't have partners who can support us."
"And you are?" Daniel asked.
"My name is Raymond, Raymond Fou Arkin." The glass wearing student replied while adjusting his glasses. "Pleasure to meet you."
"Kira Fou Bartfort, pleasure." Kira nods with a smile in greeting back the student.
The three are now conversing together as the most that is being talked is about the girls of the academy, but for Kira; he asks about topics of the school's traditions, culture, and events that may occur in the future.
As they were talking, a student came and greeted the group.
"Looks like you guys are having fun." The student greeted me with a smile. "Nice to meet you all, I'm Rukul. A third year and your senior~!"
"Nice to meet you, Rukul-senpai." Kira greeted politely while Raymond and Daniel nodded their heads.
"I heard your name, Kira-kun." Rukul said with a smile. "Kira Fou Bartfort or Kira Yamato, the vassal Knight of the Bartfort Family."
"Wait a minute! You're that renowned adventurer!?" Daniel exclaimed in shock. "The one who becomes an adventurer to repay gratitude to a family and found tons of treasure along with a lost item?! You're that Kira Yamato guy!? I thought you were just some random guys who got the same name as that renowned adventurer!"
"Hey…" Raymond sweatdropped in response to Daniel's words
"what's wrong?" Kira asks.
"Hey, don't you know that you're a successful adventurer who has enrolled to the school?" Raymond asks while adjusting his glasses. "you're known far and width as the promising adventurer of the generation!"
"I see..." Kira spoke while scratching his cheek once and looking a bit awkward. "I knew that I would be known for my actions in finding the Lost Item, but I didn't pay much attention to the spreading of the news."
"you're really a favorite amongst the commoner people, you know?" Rukul said to Kira as he looked up while waving a hand to the side. "a foreign man who was saved by a Baron's Family and repays their hospitality by becoming an adventurer who discovered an uncharted island, a Lost Item, and also tons of treasure which he presents to them as a way to repay their kindness." He sighs while shaking his head, but he has a big smile. "you're like a noble hero of a story."
"I was just repaying the kindness and hospitality that the Bartfort Family had given to me." Kira spoke after shaking his head once and then placing a hand to his chest. "Repay kindness with kindness, which is something my father and mother taught me when I was young."
"you're a modest one, aren't you?" Daniel said with a smile as he sighs and looks up. "I wish a guy like you got saved at my family's island than the other…"
"Hey, that's just rude." Raymond told the tan man.
"By the way, have you guys heard?" Rukul spoke while pointing a finger up. "That besides Kira-kun here, there's another student who is said to be very promising in one way or another."
"Who is it?" Kira asks.
"a girl named Olivia." Rukul replied. "she's a commoner with no background, but she got to be enrolled to the Advance Class with the help of a scholarship." He then points a finger out. "she's also in the same class as the crowned prince."
"She might become a nuisance to them…" Daniel spoke as he is getting a refill for his drink.
"Why?" Kira asks the tanned man.
"it's because the academy never allowed a commoner to enroll in the school before." Raymond explained while taking off his glasses, cleaning the lenses, and then putting them back on. "I mean, it's just a damn surprise when the academy allows the non-nobles to join."
"Is that so?" Kira spoke as he had a small frown on hearing that Commoners of the world is seen as a nuisance by the nobles. "But I think it's a good thing for the commoners to join the academy."
"And what makes you say that?" Rukul asks Kira.
"For a kingdom to prosper for years to come, it requires the need of the people who would support it." Kira said as he holds up his glass of cold water, he is looking at the ice cubes inside that are moving when he twirl the glass once. "The people who support it are the nobles and the commoners." He gazes at the ice cubes that are stacked together but are slowly melting in the water. "If we only let the nobles support the kingdom, it will tip to one side and become unbalanced. Which will lead the kingdom to fall into ruins" He then glances at the others. "That is something I learned from my homeland that once had a war within."
"that's sounds like a very wise philosophy…" Rukul spoke while looking a bit amazed at Kira and then smile. "You sound like a sage in a way."
"Perhaps." Kira replied before he took a sip of his cold water.
About three months later. Kira is found walking upon the academy's ground as he is just strolling around to pass his free time.
"Hachi, how are things going with your data collection?" Kira spoke out in a small whispering voice as he was in contact with the AI through his earpiece communicator. "Did you learn more about the world we're in?"
"I guess so." Hachi replied. "I got tons and tons of information about the Holfort Kingdom's history along with knowledge of the other neighboring kingdoms. Yet I found some interesting stuff that I need to process first." Beeping noises are heard in Kira's uniform as the young man takes out his phone and sees data of a history book being shown on the screen. "The books you got me to scan really helped my data collection."
"The Saint of the Holfort Kingdom?" Kira whispers as he is reading a story of a legend in the kingdom about a woman who would save the kingdom during its time of need. The woman was a person of legend who has magical powers that are powerful and mighty which could eradicate the enemies. "This is very…. confusing."
"I know, I was confused on their term of magical power and stuff." Hachi spoke in reply. "But I guess we could know more as you learn about magic in your classes, Kira. Not gonna get much info about the stuff from books since we can't clearly understand it."
"I guess you're right." Kira replied as he pocketed his phone and continued his walk. The man glance to the sky and smiles to see how clear and peaceful it is. "Still…this world is very much more peaceful than ours."
"I guess so." Hachi stated. "They don't have too much pollution and they're not too war crazy like the Earth Federation or ZAFT."
Kira continues his walk while conversing with Hachi as he passes his free time before stopping when he hears Tori's cry.
"Tori?" Kira looks up and follows the sound to see Tori flying to a hallway near a school's building. "Where is he going?"
Kira follows Tori as the mechanical bird flies into a small corner where the sound of a girl's cry can be heard inside.
"Cries?" Kira whispers as he walks and follows the noise to find an orange-ish blonde haired female student just crying by a corner. "You..."
Hearing Kira's footsteps and his voice, the girl looks up and seems surprised at his appearance.
"Tori~!" Tori cries out as the mechanical bird lands near the girl and looks at her for a moment before flying away the next second.
"Are you alright?" Kira asks with a frown as he approaches the girl who suddenly stands up and wipes the tears on her face.
"I-I'm okay!" she responded a bit aggressively as she started to tidy herself up and then bowed her head to Kira. "Thank you for your concern, but I am alright." She combs her hair back and then starts to walk pass the young man. "I'm very sorry to disturb you."
"Um…" Kira looks at the girl as he soon sees a flashback of his twin sister Cagalli who once hugged him when he was having an emotional attack. "Wait!"
In a flash of a second, Kira suddenly hugs the girl who gasps in surprise.
"w-what are you!?" the girl exclaimed as she looked angrily at Kira. "Let me go!"
Kira just hugged the girl as he didn't let go no matter how much the girl yelled or hit him with her hands.
"Just what are you doing!? Hey!?" the girl shouted at Kira as she looks at the young man and became surprised and confused when she sees him just crying in tears. "w-why are you…crying?"
"I don't know." Kira spoke out in a soft voice. "I don't know why I am crying right now." He slightly tightened his hold on the girl. "But I know that you are in pain for some reason. Perhaps that is why I am crying as well. You are in pain, and I can't let you cry in such tears."
The girl looks at Kira all confused as she didn't know why but the young man was crying in tears for her.
"j-just why are you… ?" she spoke out softly before she suddenly tears up. "j-just why?"
Before a second could pass, it was the girl who was crying in tears as she cried to Kira while in the hug.
Kira hugs the girl back as he let her cry on his shoulders that is getting soaked up in tears.
About two minutes later, the girl stopped crying as she was just leaning on Kira's shoulder before backing away.
"t-thanks…I really needed that." The girl spoke to Kira who nodded before he blushes and quickly pulled away.
"I-I'm very sorry!" Kira apologizes. "I just hugged you when you were crying and yet I just!" He then bows his head. "I'm very sorry!"
The girl looks at Kira before stifling a laugh from him.
"it's okay." The girl spoke with a small smile. "I really needed a shoulder to cry on and you offered it up to me." She places a hand to her chest. "For that, I am grateful to you."
"I'm really sorry." Kira spoke as he stands up straight before getting a flick to the forehead by the girl. "Ow!"
"that's to teach you to never hug a stranger you just met." The girl spoke with a smile. "As much as it was to help me cry my tears out, you shouldn't hug anyone on your own accord like that."
"y-yes...I'm really sorry..." Kira replied with an awkward and embarrassed smile.
The girl looks at Kira and laughs a bit.
Afterwards, both are now found sitting on a bench outside as they had a proper introduction with one another.
"I'm Clarice Fia Atlee." The girl introduces herself. "I'm a third-year student of the academy."
"Ah, I see." Kira spoke as he composed himself a bit. "Kira Fou Bartfort, a first year and a freshman student. Please to meet you, Clarice-senpai."
"Kira Fou Bartfort…" Clarice whispers as she ponders in her mind for a moment before realizing something. "Ah! you're that foreigner, aren't you!?" She smiles and laughs a bit. "I guess I was first to know that you foreigners from outside of Holfort Kingdom likes to hug strangers, huh?"
"n-not really…" Kira replies while awkwardly scratching his right cheek.
"I heard a lot of you from my followers." Clarice spoke as she looked up to the sky. "The foreigner who became an adventurer to pay the kindness and care of a noble family who saved him." She looks back at Kira. "Here at Holfort, people like you are rare to be find."
"Is that so?" Kira asks Clarice who nods.
"You showed promise to the kingdom, but some nobles aren't exactly fond of you." Clarice stated a bit seriously.
"Is it because I am a foreigner?" Kira asks.
"Yeah," Clarice nods as she looks at her lap. "I heard from my father who is an Earl of the Royal court, he told me to look out for the foreigner student by the name of Kira Yamato." She then looks at Kira. "He said that you are someone unique and peculiar."
"Unique and peculiar?" Kira asks with a confused face. "What does he mean by that?"
"I don't really know." Clarice replies while shaking her head before smiling. "But I guess that you're unique and peculiar because you're a kind and noble person who would hug crying girls to soothe them, right?"
"t-that's not..." Kira awkwardly smiles before getting a slap to the back by Clarice.
"it's fine." Clarice stated with a smile. "I really needed that hug and shoulder to cry on after all." She then looked down and had her smile turn sad. "I really needed it after all."
"Clarice-senpai?" Kira spoke as he noticed the change of mood. "what's wrong?"
"I-it's nothing…" Clarice replied as she tears up a bit before wiping them away with her right hand. "it's just…I'm just so angry at someone."
"Did they hurt you?" Kira asks while taking out a handkerchief that he gives to Clarice. "If they did, you should just report it to the teachers. They could help you."
"They can't help me with this problem of mine." Clarice replied while using the handkerchief to wipe away the coming tears. "it's regarding family matters and they can't just step in."
"Maybe I can help?" Kira spoke with a hand to his chest. "If you let me that is."
"No, I can't let anyone else be in this matter of mine." Clarice spoke while shaking her head and then folding the handkerchief before returning it to Kira. "I'm thankful for your kindness but I can't accept it." She then looks up to the sky. "I'm just so angry at my fiancé who suddenly break off our engagement for no good reason."
"Your fiancé broke up with you?" Kira asks as Clarice nods. "Who is it?"
"Jilk Fia Marmoria." Clarice replied with a bit of an angry tone in her voice. "He is the crowned prince' foster brother and a member of the royal family." She sighs tiredly while grasping her hands tight. "I was in love with him for some years, I supported him for his air bike races, I was so happy to be with him and yet…" she grits her teeth and angrily slams a fist to the bench's wooden seat. "He just sent me a letter that says that he wants to break our engagement! He breaks it off because he found a new girl to be with!" her tears returned as she began crying once again. "Why?! just why!? I supported him and loved him dearly! And yet he just cast me away like I'm sort of worn-out toy?! Just why!?"
Kira gently caresses and patted Clarice's back while giving her his handkerchief again.
Clarice cries to Kira as she cried out about Jilk doing what he wants in his life. She tried to ask him about why their engagement was broken off. She wanted to talk to him, but he just left when he spotted her, she tried to send him letters, but they were all ignored. The young girl has constantly tried her best to just have a talk with him, but nothing ever worked.
"I hate him! I hate him!" Clarice cries in endless tears while trying to stop them with Kira's handkerchief. "I just want to kill him!"
"Clarice-senpai..." Kira frowns to Clarice before his expression becomes a bit stern. "I don't think you should do that."
"w-what?" Clarice looks at Kira in tears as she looks confused. "What do you mean I shouldn't do what?"
"I said that you shouldn't just bother with your ex-fiancé." Kira replied in an explanation. "I understand that you hate him for just breaking your heart but getting back at him through harmful methods is not the way to feel any better." He shakes his head while placing a hand to his chest. "If you try anything to him that could lead to injuries, you would be the same as he is. Ignorant and uncaring towards others." He gently holds his senior's hand and grasps it with both hands. "Clarice-senpai, your life can be happy even without your ex-fiancé being in it. you can be better than him."
"Better…than him?" Clarice whispers before frowning. "But how?"
"Try to find new happiness in your life." Kira spoke with a small smile. "I am a foreigner of this land, yet I was able to find such a thing when the Bartfort Family took me in during my time of need. They cared for me and loved me like I was their family." He patted Clarice's hand gently. "Do not let your sadness, anger, or your hatred cloud your mind and action, Clarice-senpai. You are better than your ex-fiancé and you can do better to find the happiness you always wish for. I'm sure of it."
"Kira-kun…you…" Clarice whispers before a hand suddenly grabs Kira and pulls him away from her. "w-wha!?"
"Hey! You!" a huge tanned man with black hair and wearing the school uniform grabs Kira and holds him up. "The heck you're doing with Clarice-sama!? How dare you make her cry!"
"w-wait a minute!" Kira cries out as he is surrounded by more male students who just gang up on him. "I wasn't!"
"Wait! All of you!" Clarice shouted as she got off the bench. "Put him down now! He didn't do anything to me! He was just consoling me! that's all!"
"b-but Clarice-sama! You are crying and he's!" one of the men exclaimed before Clarice made herself through and help Kira down.
"He was helping me!" Clarice exclaimed as she sighed tiredly. "I appreciate that you all are concern of me, but I am fine." She then smiles a bit at Kira. "thanks to Kira-kun here." she looks back at the men who are actually her followers. "Listen, he is not taking advantage of me or anything of the like. He consoled me when I was crying, he gave me his handkerchief and consoled me. understand!? So don't you dare hurt him, alright!?"
"y-yes!" the men replied in unison as they backed away.
Clarice sighs before she looks at Kira and straightens his ruffled uniform a bit.
"Sorry about them. They're my followers and they can get very overprotective on me at times." Clarice said with a smile as she dusts off something from Kira's right shoulder. "And also, thanks." She nods with a bigger smile growing on her lips. "I can do better with my life. I can find my own happiness that doesn't have Jilk in it." She nodded once again and patted the young man's head. "If you ever need guidance or teaching of the Holfort Academy and the kingdom. Know that that I am available to help you, Kira-kun."
"No, I was just trying to help." Kira stated with a small smile. "Just that. You don't have to go into so many lengths for me."
"it's the least I can do for the person who helped me get over my ex." Clarice replies while winking once. "I won't feel good just being indebted to someone after all."
"I see." Kira spoke with a smile as he nodded.
Soon, Kira walks away from Clarice who is now with her followers.
"Clarice-senpai, who is that first year?" a follower of Clarice asks the orange-ish blonde-haired girl who watches Kira leave but with the addition of Tori who came flying in and perched to his right shoulder.
"Kira Fou Bartfort." Clarice spoke with a smile. "a very peculiarly unique freshman first year."
Over the next few days that came and pass, Kira goes on with his life as a student of Holfort Academy.
His normal routine would be to wake up from bed, get prepared in his uniform, leave his room for class, study the lessons and courses in the class, take a peaceful stroll or have some friend talk time with Raymond or anyone of his class, gets more information to be collected for Hachi to process, and ends the day by returning to his dorm while finishing his homework and going to sleep.
It's just a normal routine for a student as Kira finds it comfortable until the day comes for the Tea Ceremony.
The Ceremony is just a normal tea party held by the male students in the school who would invite girls to come and join for a chat. It's like a social gathering that could end up with someone getting engaged or their families could join for a business.
Kira heard of this tea ceremony as he had learned it in his class and how important it is. The young man is currently at the school's cafeteria but in the kitchen with Raymond and Daniel who are looking very depressed.
"what's wrong?" Kira asks the two while taking off oven mitts from his hands.
"We don't got anyone to invite to our tea party~!" Daniel and Raymond cried out as both want to participate in the tea ceremony, but they had zero people who they could even invite to come. "it's hopeless for guys like us!"
"Isn't there anyone of our class who you can invite?" Kira asks while placing his oven mitts to the side and begins brewing tea with a nearby tea set. "Or perhaps a senior?"
"No girls from our class would even want to come to our tea party." Daniel replied.
"And seniors are a no go since most are high ranked nobles." Raymond added in.
"it's hopeless for us~!" the two moaned out in despair.
"i-I wouldn't be so hopeless, you know?" Kira told his friends while giving them a cup of warm tea each. "I mean, there's bound to be someone who would want to come, right?"
"Like whom? The kingdom's princesses?" Raymond replied sarcastically as he took his cup of tea and took a sip before he made a noise and looked at the brownish liquid in his cup with surprise. "it's good!"
"Hey, Kira. What tea is this?" Daniel asked as he took a sip of his tea and sighed in satisfaction. "it's so soothing! Its taste is so smooth!"
"it's just normal brown tea." Kira replied while giving a refill of the tea to Raymond's cup. "I just learned a way to process the tea leaves to become finer and therefore the aroma along with the taste could be enhanced with just a single cube of sugar."
"Man, if we were girls. We would instantly ask you to marry us, Kira." Daniel said with a big carefree smile while Raymond spits his tea to the side and Kira looked awkwardly blue.
"t-thanks, I guess?" Kira replied before he turns to the side as he hears a small bell from the nearby oven.
Kira takes his oven mitts and puts them on before opening the oven's lid and taking out a tray of cooked colorful cookies.
"wow~! You made them!?" Daniel asks as Kira sets the tray near him and Raymond. "They smell so great~!"
"yeah" Raymond replied while adjusting his glasses as he seemed amazed by the colorful cookies. "You would think this was made by a high-class baker of the royal family."
"These are simple cookies I learned to make from my mother when I was little." Kira replied with a smile as he put the cookies into a bowl. "She loved to bake them, and I learned her recipe so that I could make it on my own." He took one piece and bites it. he chews and smiles. "Yup, it still tastes great."
"c-can we try one!?" Daniel asks as he drools a bit at the sight and smell of the cookies.
"Help yourself." Kira replied with a hand waved out. "I actually asked you to come here in order to get your opinion if I should use these cookies for the tea ceremony. What do you think? Are they good enough?"
"Better than good!" Raymond replied as he has his own share of the cookies that he looks at with sparkling eyes. "they're delicious! very good~!"
"They taste like little clouds of sugar just melting in my mouth~!" Daniel said with a big happy smile towards Kira. "Hey! Let's really get married, Kira! I just want to eat these cookies for my entire life!"
"Grateful for your compliments, but I'm straight…." Kira replied very awkwardly.
"My my, seems that there is an interesting turn of event here." a voice calls out as Kira and the others turn to see a tall and elderly man with white hair and a well-groomed mustache coming in while wearing a black suit with a monocle on his right eye. "Pardon my interruption but I was lured to the facility by a soothing smell of tea."
"T-Teacher!" Raymond and Daniel cried out in surprise as they stood up from their seats and bowed to him. "Good afternoon, sir!"
"Good afternoon." The elderly man replied with a smile as he is a teacher in the school who handles the Etiquette class for the boy's tea ceremony. He looks at Kira who greeted him the same way as his friends. "May I perhaps join your meeting, fellow gentlemen?" he waves a hand to the side. "You wish to know if your tea and cookies are palatable for the ladies, correct?" He then places the hand to his chest. "Then let I help you. It is in my duty as a teacher and gentleman to aid the students in their lessons." He waves a hand to the side. "May i?"
"of course, teacher." Kira replied with a polite bow as the young man pours a cup of tea and then passes the bowl of cookies to his arrived guest. "Please, help yourself."
"Thank you." The teacher replied as he sits down with a free chair, he takes and raises his cup of tea, smells its aroma and hums. "a very fragrant tea..." he took a sip and smiled. "With a very soothing sweet taste." He takes one cookie and bites a small piece before smiling even more. "And it is a perfect pair for these cookies!" He chuckled and did small handclaps towards Kira. "My boy, truly perfect. You have truly made a perfect pair of tea and cookies for your tea ceremony! Excellent!"
"Thank you kindly for your compliments, teacher." Kira replies in gratitude while bowing. "But I'm still a rookie and an utter novice." He looks at his cup of tea and cookies. "I'm still learning of the kingdom's cultures, and I have only scratched the surface so far."
"True, you are still learning but that is the beauty of the tea ceremony." The teacher replied with a chuckle. "To reach perfection of the tea ceremony, a gentleman like you must always learn to reach it." He slowly stands up from his seat and smiles. "Kira Fou Bartfort, continue to learn and continue to reach for perfection. One day, you may set a perfect tea ceremony that is worthy for the Queen! I am sure of it."
"Yes, I shall do my best" Kira replies while bowing.
"Man, you really are polite to the point that girls could fall for you, huh?" Daniel spoke while Raymond nodded in agreement.
Chattering began in the kitchen as Kira talked with his small group while getting advice and tips from the Teacher. Those advice and tips are highly taken by Raymond and Daniel because it could help with their tea ceremony.
In the midst of their conversation, the group hears a loud scream from girls as they sounded very happy.
"What was that?" Raymond asks as the group listens and finds it coming from outside and by a nearby window.
"Are they in trouble?" Kira asks as he checks the outside.
"no." the Teacher replied as he stands beside Kira and sees a large crowd of girls following a group of five men. "They are merely fan girls following the Crowned prince and his entourage."
"The Crowned Prince..." Kira whispers as he heard of the group while he was learning about being a noble. "Which one is the Crowned Prince?" He looks at the teacher. "I have heard of his name but never met him personally."
"I see." the Teacher replied as he nodded in understanding before both looked at the scene below. "The Crowned Prince is the gentlemen with blue hair, his name is Julius Rapha Holfort." He glances to the side. "The next gentleman with the violet hair is Brad Fou Field, the Marquess of the Field Family." He points a finger at the next person. "Next would be the Earl of the Archlight Family, Chris Fia Archlight who is the candidate of the next Sword Saint." He looks at another. "The gentleman with the red hair is Greg Fou Seberg, the Earl of the Seberg family." He then looks to the last person in the group. "Lastly, the gentleman with the green hair beside the crowned prince is the Viscount of the Marmoria family that is a close noble family of the Holfort family, Jilk Fia Marmoria."
"Marmoria? Jilk?" Kira whispers as he remembers the name of Clarice's ex-fiancé.
"Looks like those girls are asking if they can be invited to the Prince Entourage's tea ceremony." Daniel spoke as he and Raymond got near the window and saw the little fan girl crowd outside. "I wish they cut us some slack."
"it's because of them that us normal students have a hard time doing the tea ceremony..." Raymond added in while adjusting his glasses. "I mean just look at that crowd!"
"a bunch of baronesses…" Daniel spoke out before looking surprised. "But there are even daughters of Margraves and Viscounts! Damn, that's a huge number of royalties in a big crowd!"
"It would seem that there is a problem now." The teacher said as the group sees a blonde girl with red eyes coming and meeting with Julius. "She is Angelica Rapha Redgrave, the daughter of Duke Redgrave and the crowned prince's fiancé."
"I can sense a catfight for some reason…" Daniel spoke as they couldn't hear what the two were talking from where they are.
"she's saying something about their tea ceremony." Kira said as the others looked at her. "The prince said that she should not use her house's authority at school."
"You can hear them, Kira?" Raymond asked, surprised.
"I had good hearing ever since I was little." Kira replied with a nod.
"What else are they saying?" Daniel asks as Kira continues to listen to the conversation below.
"I hear that Angelica-san is telling the prince to not be near someone." Kira spoke as he looked confused and then turned to his two friends. "a girl."
"a girl?" Raymond and Daniel spoke out in confusion as they looked at each other.
"I believe that mademoiselle is our mystery girl." The Teacher spoke as he points to someone who is coming near the prince's entourage.
Kira and the others turn and see a petite young girl with blonde hair coming.
"isn't that Marie Fou Lafan?" Raymond asked while adjusting his glasses as he looked at Daniel. "You know? that girl who slapped the prince a few weeks ago?"
"Right! that's right!" Daniel replied while nodding several times. "she's that girl who slapped the prince because he was being rude!" He looks at the scene below as they see the prince talking to the petite girl about something. "I heard that when she slapped him, the prince just laughed it off and forgave her."
"Man, she's one of those popular and brave girls." Raymond spoke with a nod.
"Prince! You should not be near such a woman who is unfit for you!" a voice cried out from below as Raymond and Daniel winced in surprise.
"Yikes. Didn't need Kira's help to hear that." Daniel said as he looked down below.
"It appears to be a disagreement between Angelica-sama, the prince, and Lady Marie." The Teacher spoke as he sees how Angelica is angrily glaring at Marie for some reason. He glances at Kira. "Did you hear what they had spoken, Monsieur Kira?"
"The prince said that Angelica-san should not abuse her power of authority and that she should mind her manners when they are in the academy." Kira spoke before frowning a bit. "He told her that she may be his betrothed, but she should not interfere much in his life…"
"Yikes, that's gonna hurt a lot." Daniel said and Raymond nodded in agreement.
"Perhaps this could lead to some trouble for the kingdom's future…" the teacher spoke while caressing his chin.
"Perhaps." Kira nods in agreement as he watches Angelica leave the area with her followers while Julius and his entourage went to the other side with Marie who is smiling to the man. His eyes squinted as he sensed something was very wrong. 'That girl…something about her reeks danger.'
That's a wrap!
Bye bye.
