The sky became a battlefield between the Holfort Kingdom and the Fanoss Dukedom. The latter had come to invade by trying to take hostage of some nobles from a luxury liner that is on a school field trip, but their plan took a big twist of a turn because of Kira who had rescued Angie, taken Hertrude hostage, and called upon Hachi to bring the Archangel that blasted half of their forces into ashes.
Currently, on board the rescue airship. There's Angelica and Olivia in a guestroom as they had Hertrude with her. the princess still restrained but they are able to watch the battle from a large window nearby.
"Why aren't they retreating?" Angelica asks with a stern face in seeing the still on going battle. "They've already lost."
"I'm sure that I've said it already. The principality will not cease." Hertrude spoke with a smirk. "They will not fall back with just this much."
"there's still so many of them…" Olivia whispers while having a worried look on her face.
"Kira will be fine." Angelica told her friend with a reassuring smile. "he's strong, remember?"
"y-yes!" Olivia nods as she tries to be more positive of the situation.
"you say that he is strong, but that man is somewhat not so strong." Hertrude spoke out as Angelica and Olivia looks at her. the princess having a stern-ish look. "I can tell that he is a person who is hesitant to take another's life when I first met him." she smirks a bit. "can you really believe that such a person would survive in this battle?"
Angelica and Olivia felt a bit worried from hearing Hertrude's words as they understood Kira after spending time with him. the two already knowing that he is a very gentle and kind person and having such a person on a battlefield isn't something they like.
"is that the Black Knight?!" Chris' voice is heard as the Turquoise haired man is piloting an Armor that came nearby the ship and could be seen form the window.
"did he just say the Black Knight!?" Angelica exclaimed in shock as she goes near the window and tries to look for something. She soon saw the Aile Strike firing its Bazooka at the Black Knight's team that dodged each shot. "there!"
"don't tell me.." Hertrude gasps as she also goes straight for the window and sees the Black Knight and his team while Olivia remains confused. "Vandel!? Why!?"
"the Black Knight?" Olivia asks. "who is that?"
"Before we were born, there had been an active knight of the principality." Angelica spoke in explanation to Olivia while looking a bit worried. "He alone had sunken several tens of the kingdom's airships. Perhaps even a hundred. His armor had slaughtered many." she briefly glanced at Hertrude, but her mouth was closed and she cast her eyes downward. She looked sorrowful. Very different compared to just a while ago. "His name hadn't been brought up recently. The kingdom thought that he hadn't appeared on the battleground anymore due to his old age."
Olivia began to feel concerned after hearing that such a strong knight was now aiming after Kira.
"Can Kira-san win against such a powerful knight?" Olivia asks worried.
"comparing their skills, there may be a possibility for Kira to w-" Angelica spoke but was interrupted by Hertrude.
"Vandel will not lose!" Hertrude exclaimed loudly. "The principality's strongest knight would never lose to a despicable knight from the kingdom!"
"Kira-san is not despicable!" Olivia cries out after hearing what Hertrude said about Kira.
"You make me laugh. Did you forget what you did to the principality twenty years ago?" Hertrude asks with a smirk. "Or perhaps you people were taught that you weren't in the wrong?"
"eh?" Olivia looks confused as she turns towards Angelica who looks down with a frown.
"It happened before we were born. The kingdom invaded the principality." Angelica spoke out before shaking her head. "It wasn't just once or twice. They invaded many times, and they drove the principality into a corner. Each time, the principality drove back the kingdom."
"w-what? but I never heard of such.." Olivia spoke as she never heard of such thing.
"It seems you know nothing." Hertrude spoke while giving Olivia a dark cold gaze. "Nothing about how much we had been tormented by the kingdom. Angelica, why don't you explain?"
To her reply, Angelica didn't speak and Olivia assumes that it must be because of something that gives guilt to her.
The room is now silent for a moment, but it breaks when Tori came flying in all the sudden.
"Tori~!" the mechanical pet bird cried out as it got everyone's attention to it.
"a bird?" Hertrude spoke in confusion to see the bird.
"Tori-chan?" Olivia spoke out as she is surprised to see the mechanical pet bird that had disappeared when the Fanoss Dukedom came invading.
Tori flies around before it came down and perches onto Angelica's right shoulder.
"Tori?" Angelica looks confused at the mechanical pet bird that twists and turns its head while looking at her.
"Tori~!" Tori cries out before it flies and lands upon Hertrude's right shoulder.
Hertrude looks a bit surprise at Tori that looks at her while twisting its head a few times before crying out once.
"what?" Hertrude asks before the girls hears a few beeps from the ceiling.
"Tori is perhaps telling you that this battle is over, and you should stop provoking Angelica and Olivia." Hachi's voice is heard through a speaker as this surprised everyone.
"w-who!?" Olivia cries out while Angelica became tense
"do not be alarmed" Hachi spoke as a screen appears from a wall that had a part of it open up. The screen lit up and shows a smiling Emoji face. "my name is Hachi, I am Kira's friend who had come to help and is currently piloting the Archangel's main body."
"you're that Hachi?" Angelica spoke out, in remembering the name of the person that Kira was talking to when she was being rescued by the man.
"you, what did you mean that the battle is over?" Hertrude spoke out as she goes near the screen and has a hard gaze toward the smiling emoji face. "Vandel will not lose! He is the strongest knight of the dukedom! He is!"
"he is losing the battle." Hachi stated before the screen shows a live enhanced video of the Strike facing the Black Knight and his team who are losing. "in mere minutes, the Black Knight and his subordinates will be subdued."
"w-what!?" Hertrude gasps with wide eyes while Angelica and Olivia goes near and looks at the screen, seeing the battle that their friend is in.
In the battlefield in the sky, the Aile Strike flies up before it flies down while wielding its beam sabers that sliced a Black Armor of its arms before its body was kicked away and had crash landed to a nearby airship.
"t-this guy! how is his Armor so fast!?" a member of the Black Knight's team shouted as there was originally five members including the Black Knight himself but when they fight against Kira and his Gundam upon their arrival; they are down two members in mere minutes. "how is this possible!?"
The Aile Strike's eyes flashes as it stores away its beam sabers before wielding its beam rifle that has its barrel aimed for them.
The fight had only occurred for a few minutes as the Aile Strike has held on in the fight, but it lost the Bazooka that was cut in half by the enemies who are now being dealt with.
"Vandel-sama! This guy! he's strong!" a random subordinate of Vandel told the Black Knight who tenses a bit because Kira proved to be a worthy adversary even though he is young.
The Strike aims its rifle at the enemy forces before it fires several shots at them.
"disperse!" Vandel exclaimed as his Armor along with his subordinates flew away from the fired plasma beams.
Kira follows Vandel's Armor as his Gundam continues firing its beam rifle at the black robot because he is focused on taking out the leader of the group; him knowing because of how the Black Knight's Armor is the one that stood out from the rest.
"pincer attack!" the remaining two Black Knight subordinates goes in for the kill as they believed that Kira is too focused on their leader and not on them. "kill him!"
The two Armors goes near Kira from two sides as the Aile Strike still focuses its shooting at Vandel's Armor.
"DIE!" the two foes shouted as they swung their swords at the Aile Strike that ignites its back thrusters and the Gundam flew upwards in a flash. "wha!?"
The two Black Armors crashes into each other as they were easily fooled in such a simple trap.
"t-this guy!" one man in his Black Armor exclaimed as he and his comrade tried to recompose themselves and continue the attack but the two Skygraspers came and fired their missiles that hits their robot's body. "ugh!?"
The Skygrasper with the Sword pack turns sideways as it extends its equipped Schwert Gehwer that activates its plasma blade while the Skygrasper with the Launcher pack turns its equipped Agni to the side and charges its energy.
The first Skygrasper flies in and its Schwert Gehwer cuts the two Armors by the top of their body as the head and shoulders were sliced off while the second Skygrasper flew by while firing its Agni that destroyed the enemy robot's legs in a fiery explosion.
Both Black Armors were destroyed but their Pilots survived and are now falling straight for the ocean water.
"just how is this possible?" Vandel spoke as he tenses his gaze at the Aile Strike that hovers a few distance away while having its beam rifle pointed at his Armor. "he subdued all of my best knights in mere minutes…just who is he!?"
Vandel's Armor wields its large great sword that it raises towards the Aile Strike.
"this one is different from the rest.." Kira whispers as he hardens his gaze at the Black Knight's Armor. "but he's not too strong." He grips hold of his controllers. "why is he and the rest of his forces still fighting?"
The Aile Strike slowly lowers its beam rifle and just hovers in its place while facing the Black Knight.
"can you hear me?" Kira spoke out as his voice is magnified by his Gundam's exterior speaker. "I have taken out all your comrades and I wish to ask you to retreat from the battlefield." The Aile Strike waves a hand to the front and then to the side. "this is a losing battle, please retreat. My forces won't give chase."
"do you intend to spare me?" Vandel spoke out in return. "do not joke around!"
"I am not joking around." Kira stated. "you can no longer win this battle no matter how much Armors and Monsters you have in your forces." The Aile Strike points a finger at the Black Knight's Armor. "please retreat. This is your final warning."
Vandel remains silent for a moment before he spoke. "You're a skilled warrior but you are young. Too young. Are you really a knight of the kingdom?"
"I am, and I am not." Kira replies. "I am from a distant land and had come here unwillingly."
"then why do you fight for the Kingdom!?" Vandel exclaimed. "you do not belong to the Kingdom and therefore you should not nose in on our war!"
"that is true." Kira said as the Aile Strike lowers its hand. "even though my commitment is not to the Holfort Kingdom, I wish too protect it because the people who saved my life would be in peril danger if I let your forces come to them." The Gundam placed away its beam rifle before drawing out one of its beam sabers. "that is all the reason I need to fight right now."
"Dedication through Compassion and Loyalty, huh?" Vandel spoke before he huffs a bit. "I admire that nobility of yours, boy." The Black Knight's Armor swung its sword up before down. "I am Vandel Him Zenden; the Black Knight of Fanoss Dukedom. What is yours, Knight of Holfort Kingdom?"
"Kira Fou Bartfort, Vassal Knight of the Bartfort Household." Kira spoke as his Gundam got into a flying stance with its shield raised outwards and its beam saber held back. "and it is an honor and a privilege to meet the infamous Black Knight of the Fanoss Dukedom."
"the honor is all mine." Vandel spoke with a small smile before he grits his teeth and glares forward. "come at me, boy!"
Vandel's Armor flies in as it swings its greatsword at the Aile Strike that defends with its shield before it pushes it away and quickly swung its beam saber at the enemy robot that dodges by rolling upwards.
Kira hardens his gaze as his Gundam's thrusters ignites and made the mech rush forward to dodge a downward slash from Vandel's Armor.
Both foes flew away from each other before they came close and clash their weapons in a power fight that resulted in sparks of fire to fly around everywhere.
Kira grits his teeth as his Gundam musters more power on its beam saber that is barely giving any damage against the great sword that Vandel's Armor is wielding against him.
"Kira, Analysis shows that the property of the Black Knight's great sword is made of an alloy that is unlike anything we have encountered in the Holfort Kingdom." Hachi told Kira via comms while showing one screen that has information about the great sword that the Black Knight's Armor wields in its grasp. "the sword's alloy is able to reflect the beam saber's plasma output while also condensing its heat into its structure. I believe that it is a weapon made to counter beam type weaponry."
"so that's why…" Kira spoke while trying his best against Vandel who kicks away his Aile Strike by the torso area before swinging his great sword forward. "tch!"
The Aile Strike raises its shield in defense as the Black Knight's great sword leaves a large shredded mark on it, barely slicing it in half.
"take this!" Vandel shouted as his Armor raises its sword up before swinging it down at the Aile Strike that uses its shield once again and the weapon was sliced in half but left the Gundam unharmed because Kira had ejected the shield before the great sword could connect its impact on it. "tch!"
Kira quickly got the Aile Strike to fly up in dodging another sword swing from Vandel's Black Armor that gives chase.
"you believe that you will have a chance like this!?" Vandel exclaimed as his Armor catches up to the Aile Strike that gets a kicked that causes the Gundam to fall but it quickly repositions itself and returns its flight to now face the Black Knight.
"beam type weaponry won't work too well.." Kira spoke before a screen showed him a nearby object that caught his attention. He smiles a bit and nods. "that can work!"
The Aile Strike's eyes flashes as the Gundam draws out its Beam Rifle that it throws straight towards the Black Knight.
"discarding your weapon!?" Vandel exclaimed as his Armor is about to swat the weapon away but the Aile Strike fires several shots of its Igelstellung that hits the beam rifle's cartridge area which gets a few holes before it exploded. "wha!?"
The Black Knight's Armor gets engulfed in black smoke as Kira takes this momentary chance to fly his Gundam down to a nearby Fanoss Airship.
"you little impudent!?" Vandel's Armor quickly flies out of the smoke and plans to go after the Aile Strike but the Gundam came flying pass it while causing a heavy cut damage on its right shoulder pads. "wha!?"
The Black Knight's Armor looks to the sky as it sees the Aile Strike that is hovering above while wielding a large metal sword in its grasp.
"where did you…" Vandel spoke before he notices one of his defeated subordinate's Armor lies on top of a nearby Fanoss Airship, it's main weapon which is a sword is missing near its wreckage. "so that's it.." he then faces the Aile Strike once again. "you wish to face me head on with that sword of yours, boy?" his Armor wields its great sword with both hands and got into a stance as the Gundam did the same with its sword. "very well!"
Vandel's Black Armor readies its great sword and faces the Aile Strike that readies its Borrowed sword.
Both mechs hovers before they flew straight at each other.
"raaaahh!" "aaghhh!" Kira and Vandel roars out as their robots swung their swords at each other in a clash that ends with both flying pass one another.
The Aile Strike held its sword in an outstretched fashion, the same for the Black Knight's Armor with its great sword.
Kira stays silent in his cockpit as there is a screen showing a damage report on the Gundam's right shoulder and right v fin antenna that has pieces of it cut clean off.
Vandel stares forward as he looks tense for a moment before he close his eyes and smirks a bit.
"impressive." Vandel spoke out before reddish orange line marks appears on his Armor's waist area as the robot was cut in half before getting engulfed in an explosion.
The flaming wreckage of the Black Knight's Armor soon falls as it could not properly hover in such a state, however as if Vandel was given luck by the gods. He crashed upon an airship and survived.
The Aile Strike turns as it looks down at where the Black Knight had fallen.
Kira stares at the screen showing the enhanced image of Vandel slowly getting out of its destroyed Armor, the young man feeling relieved that the pilot survived.
"Kira, why did you do such a battle against the enemy?" Hachi asks Kira. "and how did you know that he would be honorable in the fight against you?"
"I didn't." Kira replies while slowly shaking his head. The young man looking to have a frown. "but I guess, it's because I could tell that the man was an honorable knight." he close his eyes. "he was fighting to protect someone just like myself. I guess that's why I know?"
"I see…" Hachi replies while making a few beeps. "Very well."
"How is the evacuation?" Kira asks the AI. "is everyone rescued and taken away from the battlefield?"
"Everyone has been accounted for and have been evacuated to our Rescue Airship." Hachi replies while showing a screen that gives Kira an image of Angelica and the others. "they are all safe and sound."
"that's good to know." Kira sighs with a small smile. He turns a lever as the Aile Strike turns to the side and faces to where the Rescue Airship is flying away at. "with everything settled, we can finally…" The young man's sentences were cut off when his cockpit's Danger Proximity Alert rings out and the Ultimate Coordinator quickly pulls a lever and pushes a pedal forward in making his Gundam do a descent quickly in dodging a rain of green plasma beams. "who!?"
The Aile Strike turns and looks up as it sees a shadowed Armor or rather a shadowed Mobile Suit hovering in the air just near the sunlight.
"that's…" Kira spoke out as the mobile suit slowly reveals itself by descending from its high position. The Ultimate Coordinator's eyes widen before his gaze harden when he sees the form of the other Mobile suit that had fired at him. "a Gundam!"
The Mobile Suit is revealed to be the CAT1-X1/3 Hyperion Gundam Unit 1. A Gundam Type Mobile Suit which has Canard Pars inside its cockpit as its pilot.
"the Hyperion?!" Hachi exclaims in shock while showing the information on the mobile suit on one of the screens in the Strike's cockpit.
Canard wears a custom looking black and red with a bit of white Earth Federation Forces' pilot suit. He held the controllers of his Gundam while having an ecstatic look as he looks at the Aile Strike on his main screen.
"to think I finally found you…" Canard spoke out as he looks like a crazed mad man while his Gundam aims its RFW-99 Zastava Stigmate Beam Machine Gun at the Aile Strike. "I've spent my entire life searching for you! The one who is my better self! The one who made my life an entire misery upon the day I drew breath! The so called True Ultimate Coordinator who I despise with every fiber of my very being!" his mobile suit pulls the trigger and unleashes a second rain of green plasma beams at the Aile Strike. "KIRA YAMATO!"
Kira hears Canard's voice via the comms link as he was shocked to hear his own name being uttered by his foe who soon opened fire at him.
The Aile Strike quickly flying away and the Hyperion chase after it while constantly still its main weapon at the fleeing Gundam.
Within the Rescue Airship, Angelica and the others watch the screen as they had just witnessed the defeat of the Black Knight.
"K-Kira-san did it!" Olivia cries out with a big smile as she saw how the Aile Strike destroyed the Black Knight's Armor that fell and crashed. "He won!"
"no…Vandel…just how?" Hertrude whispers with wide shaking eyes before she fell to her knees. Her mind couldn't comprehend the sight of the Black Knight; the strongest hero of her Dukedom who had just been defeated. She couldn't comprehend or rather she couldn't accept the reality of the battle's result. "just how is it possible for you to…"
"with this, the battle is finally over." Angelica said with a smile after sighing in relief. The Redgrave Daughter feeling relieved to see her friend's Armor unharmed. "we can finally…."
Everyone felt relieved that their hero saved their lives and the day by defeating all the enemy forces. They were all delighted to finally be safe from harm, but that feeling was taken away when the Hyperion Gundam appeared and started to battle against the Aile Strike which was alerted to all.
"enemy mobile suit detected! Identification code: Hyperion Gundam! Threat Level: dangerous!" Hachi shouted as his voice is heard from the screen that shows the Aile Strike firing its beam rifle against the Hyperion that defends with a beam shield created from a part mounted on its right forearm; the enemy Gundam soon retaliates as it fires back at the Ultimate Coordinator's mobile suit that dodges. "Kira! Dodge its plasma beams! Your Gundam's Phase Shift Armor's performance will be decreased drastically if you receive hit from those attacks!"
"I know!" Kira's voice is heard to reply as the Aile Strike swings its sword at the Hyperion that blocks with its beam shield before taking out one of its RBW Type 7001 Rometknica Beam Knife stored on its Zastava Stigmate Beam Sub Machine Gun that extended the weapon below its sensor. "kuh!" the Aile Strike quickly draws out one of its Armor Schneider and clashes the two weapons in battle that ended with his dagger cut in half. "damnit!"
"Kira-san!" Olivia cries out. "Kira-san!? can you hear us!?"
"Hachi! Can you hear us!? Hachi?!" Angelica spoke as she looks worried from seeing the Hyperion now clashing with the Aile Strike, both wielding their weapons that clashes each time they fly around, only to come close for a clash of their beam weapons. "can't he hear us!?"
"that thing…it really looks a lot like with Kira's Strike." Angelica noted as she saw how similar both robots are to each other. "their appearances are so alike…is that thing really a Lost Item?"
"that's right….that man is still here." Hertrude whispers out as Angelica and Olivia looks to the Fanoss Princess and sees her slowly getting up while having a smirking face. "your champion may have defeated Vandel with that peculiar Lost Item Armor of his, but he stands no chance against Canard Pars." She chuckles. "Canard Pars was not selected to be my bodyguard just because he is a strong and capable fighter." Her smirk slowly grows. "that man, he has one as well! A Lost Item similar with Bartfort! A Gundam!"
Angelica and Olivia instantly felt their worry come back as they look to the screen that shows the Aile Strike repeatedly flying straight for the Hyperion and clashes their beam weapons non stop.
"on your right!" Hachi shouted as Kira gritted his teeth while his Aile Strike swings its Sword at the Hyperion that defends with its beam shield. The two Gundams ignites their thrusters to overdrive as they tried to push each other away. "look out for its cannons!"
Kira looks up and saw that the two beam cannons on the Hyperion's backpack extends and folds over the shoulder and charges energy that soon fired. He quickly turns a lever back, pushes a pedal forward, and then pushes a rod forward.
The Aile Strike instantly did a quick maneuver by ducking to dodge the fired beam cannons' attack before it turns and did a quick kick at the Hyperion's back, the enemy Gundam pushed forward before it quickly regains its bearing as it defends against an attack from its foe.
Kira grits his teeth as he tries pushing the sword against the Hyperion's Beam Shield, but it won't budge at all.
"just how is his beam shield so powerful!?" Kira exclaimed as his Gundam backs itself and flies away when the Hyperion tried to use its Forganterie beam cannons once again. The Ultimate Coordinator maneuvers his Aile Strike to fly away and get some distance. "that Gundam is different from the Strike or any other Mobile Suits that I had ever encountered!"
"don't you dare run from me, Kira Yamato! I've waited for this day!" Canard shouted from within his Gundam's cockpit. The man having a smirking face as his Hyperion chases after Kira's Aile Strike "I've waited for so long! I've waited for so long to finally be able to find you! To be able to kill you and become the true Ultimate Coordinator!"
"The Ultimate Coordinator!? Why do you know about that!?" Kira exclaimed as his Aile Strike turns before the two Gundams begins to clash their weapons for the umpteenth time but the thrust power from the Hyperion pushes the Aile Strike to crash to a nearby Fanoss airship that shook when the two mobile suits crashed upon its top. "kuh! Why do you know about the Ultimate Coordinator!?" he soon gasps with his eyes widening. "don't tell me that you are.!?"
"that's right!" Canard exclaimed as his Hyperion is on top the Aile Strike and is trying to push its Romteknica beam knife down upon the Strike Gundam that is defending with its sword that is getting melted while chipped each time it is used against the enemy Gundam's beam weapons. "I am a Coordinator created at Mendel! I was one of the many subjects who was planned to become the Ultimate Coordinator by Ulen Hibiki!" The two mobile suits keep on struggling before Kira's robot pushes its enemy robot back then did a back roll jump then faces its foe head on. "but because I was deemed a failure, I lived a life of pure misery!" His Gundam swung its beam knife forward and clashes with the Aile Strike's drawn out beam saber. "and all of it is because of you, Kira Yamato!"
"kuh!" Kira grunted as his Gundam is losing power and is basically getting pushed back by its foe. "this is!"
"I made it my goal to find you! To kill you! All of it is to become the true Ultimate Coordinator!" Canard shouted as his Hyperion pushes the Aile Strike back before it mounts out its beam cannon and charges the energy before firing. "DIE!"
The beam cannons fired green energy beams at the Aile Strike that saw the attack coming before being engulfed in an explosion.
Canard smirks as he watches the explosion before he sensed something and saw the Aile Strike flying into the air while its Phase Shift Armor goes offline because its power had run out. the Gundam turns and quickly flies away because it has no hope to defeat its foe with its current energy levels.
"like I'm letting you go away!" Canard shouted as his Hyperion flies after the Aile Strike
"Hachi! The Launcher Pack!" Kira shouted as his Gundam flies and maneuvers through the Fanoss Empire's airships and monsters to get some cover or try to lose the Hyperion in order to reassess the situation and think of a new plan. "And give me any information you have on that man's Gundam!"
"Launcher Pack Skygrasper on route! I have some info, but that Unit's information is not completely recorded in my log!" Hachi replied as one screen shows the information about the Hyperion Gundam and its pilot; although the latter's information is rather vague. "that mobile suit is called the Hyperion Gundam which is a prototype Mobile suits developed by the Eurasian Federation and the Actaeon Industries! it does not have the Phase Shift Armor System in its systems, but it has been provided with beam equipment to cover it! It has five beam knives stored in each of its limbs, one is stored in its beam sub-machine gun. It has the two beam cannons attached to its backpack, and lastly; it's most powerful weapon…" the screen then shows the Hyperion unleashing something that creates a spherical beam shield around it. "it's Armure Lumiere!"
"Armure Lumiere?!" Kira spoke as his Aile Strike flies away and soon sees the Hyperion chasing after it while firing its sub-machine gun in its attempt to take the Gundam out but instead killed nearby monsters and cause explosion damage to the Fanoss Dukedom's airships that are now falling. "the same Armure Lumiere that the Artemis has!?"
"if you really want to know about it, let me show you!" Canard's voice is heard from Kira's comms, the young man's eyes widen because his foe just intercepted his communication's channel. "this power of Hyperion will be the one that ends your life!"
The Hyperion's eyes flashes as it swings out its limbs while parts of its frame extended rods rout that has hexagonal shaped objects at each end. The object soon emits an energy beam that creates a large spherical shield that completely surrounds the Gundam.
"What in the world?" Kira spoke out as he looks at the Hyperion while hearing chuckling from Canard by the comms link. "for it to be able to create such a shield on a mobile suit…"
"it's a Mono Phase Lightwave Shield that the Hyperion can emit from its light wave shield emitters!" Hachi reported as the AI showed a schematic of the Hyperion that replayed its action on a screen. "it is a very powerful shield comparable with the Umbrella of Artemis. This barrier is very powerful, and the Hyperion is able to attack anything outside with its weapon from the inside as well!" The screen now shows the enemy Gundam's direct schematics. "don't get too close to it, Kira! The Strike will be toasted if it does!"
Kira gritted his teeth as he turns his gundam back and started to fire its Igelstellung at the Hyperion, but its Armure Lumiere disintegrates the bullets when they come into contact with its surface. The Ultimate Coordinator soon tries to fly his Mobile suit straight at the enemy Gundam and thrusts its sword in an attempt to pierce through the beam shield, but instead the result came to be the disintegration of the large metal sword.
"even a sword that has alloy of this world can't pierce it!?" Kira exclaimed before his Aile Strike flies away while discarding the destroyed sword.
"that won't work!" Canard shouted as his Hyperion flies after the Aile Strike and started to fire its beam Sub-Machine Gun from within its barrier. "no matter where you go, I will chase after you until you're dead!"
The Aile Strike maneuvers itself in the air as it flies in a zig zag while constantly using any nearby large objects for shielding against the Hyperion's attacks; may they be monsters, remaining enemy Armors, and even the enemy Airships as well.
"tch!" Kira grunted as he sees how the Hyperion is still chasing after the Aile Strike that is losing power. "the power…" the Pilot sees the power gauge of the Gundam that shows it is on red danger alert of powering down.
"Kira, the Launcher Pack Skygrasper is on route." Hachi spoke out to Kira. "prepare for direct docking with the Strike."
"Hachi, I need you to take control of the Strike before we do so!" Kira exclaimed to his AI friend as he pulls a keyboard and started reorganization and recoding his Gundam's OS. "keep on moving away from him and counter attack if he comes too close!"
"roger!" Hachi replies as the Aile Strike lands on top of a Fanoss Airship and turns to look at the Hyperion Gundam that retracts the Light Wave Emitters and draws out a beam knife that has its power output increased to make it look nearly like a beam sword.
The Aile Strike grabs a pair of large swords left discarded on the top of the airship and soon swung one up in a clash against the Hyperion's beam weapon. The two Mobile Suits have sparks flying as their weapons repeatedly clash with one another because both robots are now in a beam saber battle.
Kira lets Hachi do the fighting on his own as the Ultimate Coordinator is currently doing a manual reprogramming on the Strike's OS that he is directly reinputting its data with his advanced technological skills.
"Take the Calibrations and reset the Zero Moment Point and CPG then reconnect the control module directly to the molecular ion pump. Reconstructing the neural linkage network through Unit's revised system data core." Kira spoke out in a fast gibberish as his eyes moves side to side while his fingers are typing keys fast on the keyboard that is inputting data to the main screen in his cockpit that shows the data information of his Gundam's operating system which is receiving his new inputted commands. "Deactivate non linked channel feed, re-new the Meta-Active Field with Active Flight Stabilizer, resetting feed forward controls to defaulted setting, conveying function. Adjusting Coriolis Deviation. Granular Factor set at minus 50. Connect to motion routines through pilot feedback. System reset and online!"
"raaaah!" Canard roars out as his Hyperion swung down its beam sword at the Aile Strike that defended with its two swords crossed. The clash of the weapons cause sparks to fly as the force behind the Gundam's power overpowered that of its foe. "aah!"
The Aile Strike gets pushed back a few feet away from the Hyperion and it quickly got into a defensive stance with its swords but the weapons have their blades almost melted which caused Canard to smirk wildly.
"Time for you!" Canard shouted as his Hyperion mounts up its beam cannon that charges energy and then fires upon his action with the pull of a trigger. "TO DIE!"
The beam blast flew straight for the Aile Strike that saw the incoming attack before its eyes flashes yellow and the Gundam quickly jumps into the air and dodges it.
"you're not..!?" Canard's Hyperion follows the Aile Strike's movements in the air, but its foe threw its large swords and Armor Schneider combat knives at it. "you little!"
The Hyperion quickly swats away the thrown projectiles, but it gets rammed on the chest by the Aile Pack that had been ejected from the Strike's main body and is now used as a makeshift rocket missile.
"y-you bastard!" Canard growls as the Hyperion gets pushed off the airship and into the sky where it throws away the Aile Pack before destroying it with a few shots from its beam sub-machine gun. "little pest!"
The Hyperion turns to look at where the Strike is, but the enemy Gundam is nowhere to be seen.
"where did he!?" Canard looks for the Strike before he hears danger alarms ringing in his cockpit, and a screen shows the source of the danger is coming from the air. "above!?"
The Hyperion looks upwards and soon gets a diving kick to the head by the Strike that uses the momentum to push the Gundam down.
"you bastard!" Canard grunted as he tries to get his Gundam to restabilize in its flight.
While the Hyperion is away, the Strike flies up with the last of its power supply and meets up with the Launcher Pack Skygrasper that ejects its equipment that docks onto the Gundam that has its power gauge filled back up with the new battery.
"Hachi! Prepare for a three way attack when that Gundam comes back up!" Kira calls out to Hachi as the Launcher Strike flies before it lands on top of a large manta ray like monster that is roaring and wriggling in anger. "sit down!"
The Launcher Strike stomps its right foot down on the manta ray monster's head, getting it to cry out in pain before flying away with the Gundam on board its back.
The Hyperion now restabilized in its flight, looks up and sees where the Launcher Strike is at now.
"you first mock me by thinking that your little feeble attack can defeat me!?" Canard exclaimed as his Hyperion quickly flies after the Launcher Strike. "and now you think you can escape me!?" his Gundam points out its beam sub-machine gun and started firing. "it's time for you to perish!"
Kira sees the Hyperion coming as the enemy Gundam fires its beam sub-machine gun that unleashes a rain of green plasma beams at his direction.
The Launcher Strike quickly jumps off the manta ray monster as the creature gets holes blown all over its body before it becomes ashes.
"die!" Canard shouted as his Hyperion mounts out it Forfanterie Beam Cannon that fired.
Kira hardens his gaze while the Launcher Strike equips and wields its Agni that aims down at the Hyperion before firing a charged shot that clashed with the Hyperion's fired attack.
The two beam-based attacks collided before causing a bright white explosion.
"Hachi! Now!" Kira shouted as the Launcher Strike continues the attack by firing its Igelstellung and the Vulcan gun from its Combo Weapons Pod, creating a rain of bullets to come down upon the Hyperion that defended with a beam shield raised upwards.
"roger" Hachi replied as the AI got the two Skygraspers to fly in from up and down while unleashing a torrent of bullets, green plasma beams, and missiles upon the Hyperion.
"From two places!?" Canard exclaimed as his Gundam quickly fires its beam sub-machine gun to intercept the missiles from both sides, but the plasma beams and bullets hits the mobile suit's frame and damaged it. "guh!?"
"now!" Kira readies his Launcher Strike's Agni and aims right at the Hyperion. "take this!"
The Launcher Strike charges the Agni's power before firing a strong charged shot that flies straight for the Hyperion.
Canard saw the incoming attack as a bright light shines upon him and his Hyperion that gets engulfed in the blast.
The charged shot from the Agni was too powerful and immense as it flew straight for the ocean where it caused a huge geyser of an eruption.
After almost a minute of firing, the Launcher Strike stops its attack as it hovers while holding up its Agni that has steam coming off the barrel.
"did that do it?" Kira whispers as he looks at the ocean water that is steaming because of the explosion.
Kira believed that he managed to take out his foe with a powerful charged shot from his Launcher Strike's Agni. He exhausted nearly half of his Gundam's power supply to do the attack as it took him a chance to actually hit the attack against the enemy mech.
"enemy is surfacing!" Hachi exclaimed as the AI made alert noises in Kira's cockpit.
"wha!?" Kira looks at the ocean and sees an eruption of a geyser as the Hyperion arises while completely unharmed from his attack because its Armure Lumiere had been deployed in the last second. "that shield managed to take on our attack!? It's not possible for it to remain after discharging so much energy!"
Canard huffs a bit in the Hyperion's cockpit as he barely had enough time to activate his Gundam's Armure Lumiere that had protected him from the charged shot.
"it would seem that this battle cannot be won in your favor, Master." Luxion spoke out as the AI appears out of nowhere from within the cockpit. The metal ball's red eye lense looks at Canard. "even though the Hyperion had activated its Armure Lumiere; the heat from the enemy's weapon had caused some overheating in a few of the mobile suit's system. Perhaps that is what he was aiming for?"
"Spare me your analysis and just tell what have been damaged!" Canard exclaimed as his Hyperion deactivates its Armure Lumiere. He sees the schematics of his Gundam on a screen that shows red signs on a few parts of its frame "That bastard! He and his AI trash!"
"are you resenting the fact that you have ordered me to not interfere in your battle? You are no longer able to hear your foe's comm links for he just disabled and reprogrammed his unit's system during combat." Luxion asked Canard while the gear in its red eye lense twist and turns. "I had told you that your chance of victory against your foe would be a 100% if I had helped, did I not? Would you like me to give an assist now?"
"you think I want to be the true Ultimate Coordinator if I relied on you!?" Canard exclaimed as he glares angrily at Luxion. "I will defeat him on my own! To prove that I am the true Ultimate Coordinator!" he grabs and grips the controllers in the cockpit as his Hyperion's eyes flashes before its thrusters ignited and the Gundam flies straight for the Launcher Strike. "to prove that I am not a failure!"
"I can never truly comprehend Master's desire.." Luxion spoke before going silent.
Kira sees the Hyperion coming as he got the Launcher Strike to start firing its Igelstellung and then its missile launchers that fired two missiles straight for the enemy gundam.
The Hyperion draws out two of its beam knives and skillfully slice and cut the incoming missiles while dodging the bullets.
"tch!" Kira instantly tried to get his foe to move astray from his path as his Launcher Strike aims its Agni at the Hyperion and charges energy before firing a single yet powerful blast shot.
"Armure Lumiere!" Canard shouted as his Hyperion activates its beam shield that covers the Gundam entirely in a sphere of plasma energy.
The first shot from the Launcher Strike's Agni flew and hits the Hyperion's Armure Lumiere's shield that cause a small yet powerful white explosion that didn't do any damage upon the enemy gundam.
"then!" Kira begins to try several shots of the Launcher Strike's Agni as each shot flew straight for the Hyperion that deflects the attack with its beam shield. "tch!"
The Launcher Strike flies away as the Hyperion chases after it.
"Kira, no matter how strong the Agni's charged shot will be. The Hyperion's Armure Lumiere will protect it no matter what!" Hachi told Kira as the Ultimate Coordinator had his Gundam flies and then slides its foot down on the top surface of a Fanoss Airship where it spins and soon aims its Agni at the incoming Hyperion. "we need to use the Sword Pack's Schwert Gehwer! Maybe we can pierce that shield with an Anti-beam coated weaponry!"
"I know!" Kira exclaims as the Launcher Strike charges energy into its Agni. "but this is the only way to ensure our idea has results!" the Gundam unleashes its charge shot as a concentrated blast flew straight for the Hyperion that stops flying and hovers while its Armure Lumiere clashes against the attack that had its form split pass it. causing rain of plasma beams to fall upon nearby monsters, enemy airships, and armors that were unlucky to be nearby.
Kira continues to unleash the charged attack as he ignored the danger alarms of his Mobile suit's energy gauge that gone red alert.
"Kira! I told you that the Agni won't work on him! just what are you thinking in depleting your energy?!" Hachi exclaimed to Kira as the Launcher Strike's Phase Shift Armor deactivates and the Agni stops firing. "you just depleted your own energy!"
"and his as well." Kira spoke with a small smile as he looks at the Hyperion that remains safe in its Armure Lumiere' beam shield but he notices that the plasma beam that forms its structure is weakening a bit. "Hachi, I found his Gundam's second weakness."
"his second weakness?" Hachi spoke before making a few beeps. "of course! Its energy pack is drained!"
"I had a hard time believing that there could be such a mobile suit with such a perfect shield." Kira spoke as his Launcher Strike looks at the Hyperion that has now deactivated its Armure Lumiere. "all of his beam weaponry and yet his gundam remains functioning even with such depletion of energy. Testing on how much power he has, I doubt he has half of his mobile suit's power left."
"so what now?" Hachi asks Kira who turns and twists a lever as his Launcher Strike fires out two missiles from its combo weapon pod that flew straight for the Hyperion which destroyed the projectiles with its sub-machine beam gun.
"this!" Kira ejects the Launcher pack as his Strike spins while holding the Agni that it soon throws at the Hyperion.
"not this time!" Canard exclaimed as his Hyperion flies away from the thrown weapon, but the Strike instantly uses the opportunity to jump down from the airship. "you're not going anywhere!"
The Hyperion quickly chased after the Strike as it flies straight down and now faces its robot foe that is a few distances away and holds the thrown away Agni in its hands.
"w-what!?" Canard looks in surprise as Kira actually baited him into coming after him, his Gundam jumping down and going straight for its thrown away Agni that has its barrel pointed at the Hyperion. "you!"
The Strike pulled the trigger and the Agni, with its last remaining energy fired a charged shot at the Hyperion that quickly activates its beam shield on its right arm but because the blast was too close of a distance, the enemy Gundam was thrown back a few feet away.
"Hachi! The Sword Pack!" Kira called out as the Strike is now free falling while throwing away its Agni.
"Sword Pack, ejecting" Hachi replied as the Sword Pack Skygrasper flies in and quickly ejects its armaments which attaches onto the Strike's frame and reenergizing its power.
The Sword Strike falls from the sky, but it soon lands on top of a narwal monster that it uses as a jumping pad to fly back into the air and flies straight for the Hyperion while drawing out its Schwert Gehwer that it wields with both hands.
"Kira Yamato!" Canard shouted as his Gundam draws out its beam knife and increases its power to become a beam saber then flies straight for the Sword Strike.
"Canard Pars!" Kira roars out, his Sword Strike pulls back its Schwert Gehwer that activates its plasma beam blade and then swing it out towards the Hyperion that swung its beam saber causing a clash of power between the two gundams.
The two mobile suits pushed their thrusters to the maximum as they tried to push each other away but the result was that both robots crashed into each other but the Sword Strike quickly kicks away the Hyperion.
The Sword Strike grabs its Midas Messer beam boomerang from its left shoulder armor, the short beam blade activated as the weapon was thrown at the Hyperion that activates the beam shield on its right arm and quickly deflects the projectile weapon but its head gets caught by its foe's Anchor Claw that has its cable reeled in.
"raaah!" Kira shouted as his Sword Strike pulls the Hyperion in while its Schwert Gehwer is pointed towards it.
"don't underestimate me!" Canard roars out as his Hyperion mounts out one of its Forfanterie Beam Cannon and charges energy before firing one blast shot at the Sword Strike that quickly ignites its back thrusters to fly up and dodge then comes diving in with a kick to the enemy's head. "guh!"
The Sword Strike kicks away the Hyperion before it proceeds to fly in with its Anti-ship sword at its side.
Both Gundams descend from the sky and crashed into the ocean water below in a big splash.
Now in the ocean water, the Hyperion's eyes flashes as it aims its beam sub-machine gun and started to fire at the Sword Strike but its weaponry isn't that effective in such an environment.
"Hyperion's power is at 43%, Zastava Stigmate Beam Sub-Machine Gun has its effectiveness decreased by 38%. It is best if you do not use it in the ocean." Luxion reported to Canard who sees a red sign on his Gundam's schematics from a nearby screen which made him look annoyed. "your unit's power gauge is running low as well, would you like me to prepare the emergency replacement battery and refuel of ammunition when you resurface?"
"shut up and..!?" Canard exclaimed before he saw the Sword Strike coming while its Schwert Gehwer pulled back, the Anti-Ship Sword had its plasma beam blade deactivated but the weapon can still be used in the ocean. "damnit!"
The Hyperion thrusts back as the Sword Strike swings its sword down before it swing it upwards, the bladed tip hitting the chest piece of its foe that now has a long cut mark.
"tch!" Canard pushes a lever forward and presses a button on the side as the Hyperion started to fire its Multi-Barrel CIWS mounted on its head.
The Sword Strike just rushes in as it blocks the fired bullets with its shield before swinging out its Schwert Gehwer in another attempt to cut its foe.
Not wanting to have such a disadvantage in the water, Canard pushes a pedal and pushes a lever forward that ignites his Gundam's back thrusters and allow it to fly straight out of the ocean in a big geyser of a splash.
"give me the battery!" Canard shouted as his Gundam's power gauge is decreased to the danger level. "now!"
"it is on its way." Luxion replied as its one red lense eye glows red.
A minute later, the Sword Strike flies out of the ocean water and finds the Hyperion ejecting out a battery shell from its backpack and had it replaced with a new one brought by a large legless robot like mech that also gives it new ammunition for its weaponry.
"what is…" Kira spoke in confusion to see the unfamiliar robot, but his attention is focused back to Canard whose Hyperion activates its Armure Lumiere that is now full powered.
"it's payback time!" Canard shouted as his Hyperion mounts out its Forfanterie beam cannon and instantly fired a blast straight at the Sword Strike that raises its shield to defend but the shockwave of the attack caused it to get blown away.
"guh!" Kira grunts as his Sword Strike nearly falls back into the ocean but the Gundam quickly ignites its thrusters and flies into the sky.
"come back here!" Canard shouted as his Hyperion gives chase.
The sky now has a blue star and a green star flying around as they circled, zigzag, and twirls upon the high altitude while causing bright flash sparks each time they come close and went pass one another.
Fanoss' remaining monsters are still flying in the sky before a few turns into shredded black ashes when the Sword Strike flies pass while followed by the Hyperion.
Kira sees his foe's gundam chasing after him as his Sword Strike flies down and slides on the surface of an airship before spinning and then flying to another direction but the Hyperion chases after it after making a sharp turn.
The Sword Strike flies up as it is heading to a large group of dolphin and shark monsters that has their attention upon the incoming Gundam.
"we are heading to the monsters!" Hachi reported the obvious as Kira turns a lever, pulled the throttle back while his foot pressed both pedals down hard.
The Sword Strike ignites its foot and leg thrusters at full power as it performed a Pugachev's Cobra causing the Hyperion to fly pass it.
"what!?" Canard saw how the Sword Strike flies over his Gundam's head as the Hyperion flies straight for the Monsters that are coming at him.
"Monsters in bound." Luxion reported as Canard gritted his teeth as he thrusts a lever forward and made his Hyperion go straight for the monsters that incinerated the moment their fleshy form made contact with the Gundam's Armure Lumiere.
The Hyperion kills all the monsters as it turns and flies back to go after its foe, but the Sword Strike didn't flew away in retreat. It did the opposite.
"raaah!" Kira roars as the Sword Strike flies straight for the Hyperion and thrusts out its Schwert Gehwer at the Hyperion's Armure Lumiere that instantly creates a huge amount of flaming static to fly around the moment the weapon made contact.
"that's useless!" Canard exclaimed, thinking that Kira is a fool who believed he can defeat his Gundam by thrusting his Anti-ship sword against the Armure Lumiere, but that thinking of his proved to be a fatal flaw because the bladed tip of the Schwert Gehwer is piercing through the Hyperion's shield. "what!?"
"Master, analysis shows that the tip of that sword has an Anti-Beam surface coating." Luxion reported to Canard who tried to get his Hyperion to slice off the Schwert Gehwer with its beam knife, but the long anti-ship sword was pushed through by the Sword Strike that ignites its thrusters to full throttle. "you must retreat."
"damnit!" Canard exclaimed as the Schwert Gehwer was pushed through and the bladed tip made a big opened gash on the Hyperion's torso area before it exploded because the weapon couldn't withstand the power from the Armure Lumiere which disintegrated the anti-ship sword and destroyed in an instant.
The Sword Strike flies away as it lost its main weapon against the Hyperion that now has static all around the damaged torso area.
"it was a huge risk doing that, Kira." Hachi stated to Kira who nods.
"it's a good thing that the Schwert Gehwer has an anti-beam coating on the tip of its blade." Kira replies as he huffs a bit. "I thought that it was able to do something to its beam shield, but.." he looks at the Hyperion that remains hovering while holding a hand to its damaged right torso area. "…I guess we now know that its main weakness would be that its Armure Lumiere cannot truly defend against Anti-beam weapons."
"indeed." Hachi replied while inputting and logging the information into his database.
"damage to Hyperion's Torso area is severe. it is best if you retreat from this battle, Master." Luxion told Canard who sees the danger alert on the Hyperion's Torso area from a nearby screen. "your unit remains functional but prolonging this battle will cause its system to malfunction to the point of its self-destruction."
"you think I'll be running away from something like this!?" Canard exclaimed as he grips hold of his controllers and just looks at his cockpit's main screen that shows the Sword Strike hovering just near the surface of the ocean. "I spent half of my life! Half of it! I spent half of my life searching for this bastard!" the Hyperion's eyes flashes as it draws out one of its beam knives that ignites its beam into a sword. "to ensure that i can prove my existence as not a failure! To prove that I am the true Ultimate Coordinator!" his Gundam's thrusters ignited as it soon flies straight for its foe. "I don't care about anything else!"
Kira sees the Hyperion coming as his Sword Strike flies away and dodges its foe's rushing attack that cause it to crash to the ocean water in a big splash but the gundam quickly chases after him.
The Sword Strike's thrusters are failing a bit because of its low fuel, as Kira notices this and quickl launches out the Anchor Claw of the Panzer Eisen and use it like a grappling hook that flew and hooks onto the bottom of a nearby fanoss airship then reels the cable to fling the gundam up.
"wait right there!" Canard roars out as his Hyperion chases after the Sword Strike that swings itself around with the objects near its surrounding.
In the rescue airship, Angelica and the others continues to watch the battle from the screen as they felt worried in seeing how Kira's Sword Strike is facing off Canard's Hyperion without any weapons.
"just who is that man?" Angelica whispers as they had been hearing the communication between Kira, Hachi, and Canard which raise some questions that they can't personally get an answer to because they could only hear the conversation and not reply in it. "he keeps on saying that he will kill Kira in order to become this 'Ultimate Coordinator'? just what is a Coordinator?"
"u-um, Kira-san once told me something about that word." Olivia spoke out as Angelica looks at her. "h-he told me that in his homeland, the people divided by the conflicting forces call their people by different titles." She looks at the screen that shows the Sword Strike evading the Hyperion that rushes out and destroys a Fanoss Airship, not caring of the people on board it. "one side are called Naturals and the other.."
"Coordinator." Angelica spoke as she looks and watches the fight on the screen that escalated to the point that any remaining monsters, airships, and even Armors were the casualties of the two Gundam's battling. She hardens her gaze when she saw how the Hyperion tries to destroy the Sword Strike by firing its Forfanterie beam cannons but the formerly sword wielding Gundam swings away with its Anchor Claw hooked to the bottom of an airship then reels itself up to dodge the attack. 'there is so much that we don't know about Kira…' she grasps her hands into hard fists when she saw the Sword Strike using its anchor claw to grip onto a nearby dolphin monster's tail that is soon swung around before thrown towards its foe that destroys the creature into black ashes. 'I understand that we are friends, but why does he never share it?' she made a noise and close her eyes while shaking her head. 'no, that's just too selfish of me. even I know that there are some things that no one wish to tell.' She opened her eyes and watches the battle continue. 'I can understand that if he doesn't wish to share. even I believe that he has something of his past that he doesn't wish to tell us.'
Olivia gasps loudly while Angelica's eyes widen because the Hyperion swings out its beam sword that sliced the Sword Strike's Panzer Eisen's shield in half and did another swing that destroyed the shoulder armor on the Gundam's left side.
"he doesn't have any proper weapons anymore!" Angelica exclaimed.
"Kira-san! run!" Olivia screams, fearing that her friend won't survive in a battle without proper weaponry.
Kira grunts as his Strike has no equipment on hand, the Gundam now flying and then running on top of airships before jumping away to dodge the Hyperion's fired beam cannons and beam shots from its beam sub-machine gun.
"Kira, I am preparing to send the Skygraspers with a new Aile Pack and Sword Pack." Hachi told Kira on the communication link. "I have quickly done a refitting of the new Schwert Gehwer. With this, you can…"
"wait, Hachi. Before you send them out." Kira spoke as he looks at the Hyperion and sees how its Armure Lumiere is failing. "just wait and let me test something that needs to be proven."
"what is it?" Hachi asks as Kira watches the Hyperion coming before his Strike did a quick thrust to the side and dodges its foe incoming rush attack that flies pass but not before its beam shield disappears.
"now!" Kira pushes a lever forward as his Strike flies straight for the Hyperion that turns and gets a powerful punch to the head by the Gundam. "raaah!"
"guh!" Canard grunts as he looks extremely annoyed and frustrated to a screen showing a timer that had counted down to zero.
The Strike punches the Hyperion on the head once again before the Gundam did a strong kick that sends the enemy Gundam flying off the airship.
The Hyperion fell from the sky, but it was quickly saved by the same legless floating robot that catches it and brought it away.
"Kira, what did you just do!?" Hachi asks Kira as the Strike goes near the edge of the airship and kneels while seeing the Hyperion being taken away by the legless robot that is currently ejecting out a battery shell from the Gundam's backpack. "its Armure Lumiere just deactivated on its own!"
"it is because its power ran out with a timer." Kira stated as he checks a screen while pulling his keyboard and begins inputting data. "the Hyperion's Armure Lumiere is indeed powerful, but it drains too much power from the Mobile Suit's main battery." He looks at a screen that shows a recording of the enemy Gundam's beam shield that is slowly failing. "and it only remains online for almost 5 minutes or so."
"so it not only has a lacking of its power consumption, but it is also limited to a timer as well." Hachi spoke as the AI made note of it into its database.
"Hachi, that other robot will without a doubt keep replacing the Hyperion's battery and ammunition when it dries out. therefore we need to defeat him to the point it cannot function anymore." Kira stated as he checks out the location of the Hyperion that is now currently on a Fanoss airship and is in the middle getting refueled of its battery power and ammunition. "but while not killing the pilot in result."
"why?" Hachi asks. "he is your enemy who is vent on killing you, right?"
"right, but he's like me." Kira spoke as he frowns a bit. "he was made into a weapon that has been cast aside by my father who created him." he grips his controllers and tenses up. "I knew that I couldn't have been created without tests on others, but…."
Hachi is silent for a moment as Kira has a guilt filled face that disappears when he shakes his head and faces the screen.
"Hachi, send out the Gunbarrel Striker." Kira stated. "if we want to have any chance of ending this battle, we need to use it."
"are you sure?" Hachi asks while showing a 3D image of the newly improved Moebius Zero on a screen. "the re-customizing of the Moebius Zero is finished, but the programing of its Operating System has yet to be completed."
"then we'll finish it as we battle." Kira replies as he checks his Strike's system and did another reprogramming of its OS while the Gundam's phase shift armor deactivates because its power had run out once again. "Launch the Gunbarrel Striker out along with fuel, a new shield, and a new beam rifle. Can you do it, Hachi?"
"I can" Hachi replied with a few beeps. "preparation to launch in t-3 minutes."
While Kira is reprogramming his Gundam's OS, right below him the Hyperion gets refueled of its weaponry and its battery pack as Luxion controls the legless robot to place in a new battery cell for its backpack.
"refueling of ammunition and power supply completed, Hyperion remains online and stable." Luxion reported to Canard who looks more angrier than ever. "Master, do you still wish to fight? There is a 98,93% calculation that your foe; Kira Yamato has found out about the Hyperion's main weakness. Prolonging this battle will not result in your favor."
"shut up!" Canard shouted as his Hyperion is still damaged in some areas of its frame, but the pilot didn't care and just ignites the thrusters to cause the Gundam to fly back into the fight. "that bastard! I'll kill him if it's the last thing I do!"
"I still suggest you to just retreat, Master." Luxion told Canard who just ignores him.
As Luxion continues to tell Canard to retreat because his Gundam was damaged, the Strike remains above before it slowly rises and its eyes flashes yellow.
"enemy mobile suits incoming." Hachi said as Kira hardens his gaze before making his Strike turn and fly away with its thrusters ignited at full power.
"Hachi, get him busy with the Skygraspers! And where's the Gunbarrel Striker?" Kira spoke as the Strike turns and looks towards where the Archangel is. The Mobile Assault Airship is currently flying away with the Rescue Airship that is still protects even when there is no harm.
"commanding Skygraspers to go on the attack." Hachi replies as the AI made a few beeps. "and Gunbarrel Striker in bound."
Kira looks at the Archangel as it saw an orange flashing star coming near it and soon flies straight for the Strike.
the Moebius Zero is now rebuilt and refitted for the Strike's support system. It has its normal appearance but with the addition of a gatling gun attached and mounted on the bottom of the Gunbarrel Striker's front section. Along with a shield and beam rifle attached to its right side.
"Kira Yamato!" Canard shouted as his Gundam activates its Armure Lumiere and flies straight for the Strike but was intercepted by the Skygraspers that are equipped with Launcher Packs. "little pests!"
The two Skygraspers fired their Agnis at full power as the powerful combined and concentrated plasma blasts hits the Hyperion's Armure Lumiere that gets engulfed in the attack while still protecting the Gundam within.
While the Hyperion is distracted, Kira takes the chance to dock his new Striker Pack on his gundam.
"engaging docking sequence." Hachi stated as the Gunbarrel Striker flies straight for the Strike that turns and face its back to the coming support mobile armor.
The Gunbarrel Striker aligns itself with the back of the Strike and ejects its shield and beam rifle that the Gundam now wields them. The front half of the mobile armor flips itself up and extends a pair of connecters that interlines and connects to the back of the mobile suit which has fuel and electrical power refueled into its frame.
The now Gunbarrel Strike Gundam has its eyes flashing yellow while its Phase Shift Armor goes back online. The mobile suit doing a quick pose with its newly equipped shield at front and its new beam rifle to the side.
"neural linkage updated. Ultracompact Energy Battery recharged at full capacity. Phase Shift Armor online. Gunbarrel Striker to Strike's system connection stabilized." Hachi reported to Kira who looks at the Hyperion that now hovers while deactivating its Armure Lumiere.
"it's time.." "TO END THIS!" Kira and Canard shouted before their Gundams flies towards one another and engaged in a battle that may bring the end to this invasion war.
On the Rescue Airship, Angelica and the others watch in complete tension because they are directly watching the fight between the two Gundams that is by far the craziest thing that they have ever seen.
"look out!" Olivia gasps as she sees the Gunbarrel Strike getting slammed to a nearby fanoss airship by the Hyperion that was about to stab its beam knife into its cockpit area, but the Strike quickly grabs the arm and pulls it away before it rams its head against the other, causing a bit of a commotion for the enemy pilot that has his Mobile suit kicked away afterwards. "Kira-san! get out of there!"
"so this is what happens when two foes wielding powerful Lost Items battle." Angelica spoke as she gulped when she saw how the Gunbarrel Strike and the Hyperion are fighting on top of a fanoss airship that they destroyed in mere seconds because of their weaponry that always missed their intended target. "it's just too much to even watch…"
Ange and Olivia along with Hertrude herself watch the battle as this may conclude the result of whether it is the Kingdom's force or the Fanoss' force that would be the winner.
'as much as this battle is something to be written in history…that Kingdom Knight…that Bartfort…' Hertrude watches how the Gunbarrel Strike slams its shield against the Hyperion that blocks with its beam shield, both Gundams pushing against each other in a power fight that ended when the Ultimate Coordinator's mobile suit fires its Igelstellung at the enemy Gundam's head which has one of its eye sensor damaged. The foe's robot quickly counters by wielding one of its beam knife and stabbed it straight through the Gunbarrel Strike's right shoulder and remains imbedded on it before the frame exploded. 'what did he ever mean by that he and I are alike? I don't understand how we are even alike?'
Hertrude watches the battle as the Gunbarrel Strike is now flying away from the Hyperion that has its Forfanterie beam cannon mounted on its shoulders and they charged energy before firing two powerful beam blasts.
"this battle would only end with either of them being killed in the end…" Hertrude whispers softly as she sees the Gunbarrel Strike dodging the Hyperion's attack before it flew in and bash its shield against the enemy robot.
Back in the battlefield, a blue star is seen shining in the sky before it came flying in and revealed itself to be the Gunbarrel Strike flying away while being chased by a greenish white stare that is the Hyperion with its Armure Lumiere activated.
The two Gundams flies around the battlefield while firing their weaponry at one another in an endless gunfight or plasma beam fight that killed nearby monsters and any unlucky Fanoss armors that were trying to retreat.
Kira hardens his gaze at the sight of the Hyperion as his Gunbarrel Strike Gundam ejects its Gunbarrel Pods that are mounted on its backpack which flies around before extending their railgun cannons that fired multiple shots at the enemy robot's beam shield that withstood the attack.
"it is impressive that his weaponry has incorporated this world's bizarre and illogical floating 'magic' property." Luxion spoke as the Hyperion flies around in chasing the Gunbarrel Strike that flew away but is attacking back with the M58E4 Gatling Gun that is positioned on the back of its striker pack. The barrel spinning fast as it fires rains of bullets at the enemy gundam. "this Kira Yamato is truly someone worthy of great achievements with his great intellect."
"shut up with your analysis and get rid of those pests so that they can't interrupt my fight!" Canard shouted as his Hyperion fires countless shots from its beam sub-machine gun that ejects the empty energy shells before it mounts out its Forfanterie Beam Cannons that unleashes a charged shot.
The Gunbarrel Strike Gundam dodges the attack as it flew up and aims its beam rifle while accompanied by its Gunbarrel Pods that simultaneously fire at the Hyperion at the same time.
"tch! Little flies!" Canard shouted as his Hyperion protect itself with its Armure Lumiere that it deactivates. The Gundam aiming its beam weaponry at the Gunbarrel Strike and fired. "you think that's going to be enough to defeat me!?"
The Hyperion's attack flew as the Gunbarrel Strike quickly flies to the side before it goes straight for the enemy Gundam that draws out its beam knife which became a beam sword.
CLASH!
The Gunbarrel Strike rams its shield against the Hyperion's beam sword as the collision between the two weapons caused electrical and fire sparks to fly everywhere.
"analysis shows that his shield has an anti-beam coating that can reflect beam attacks." Luxion noted while showing information of the Strike's collected information. "please do not attack in the positions where he can defend against your attacks, Master."
"shut up!" Canard shouted as his Gundam quickly pushes away the Gunbarrel Strike before it flew up to the sky at high speed to dodge charged and concentrated plasma shots from the Launcher Pack Skygraspers that flew by and had their shots missed which could've nearly took it out from its blind spot. "get the Moebius out and take care of those two pests! I can't kill that bastard with those flies around!"
"if you say so." Luxion replies as the floating metal orb's red eye glows.
Kira has his Gundam fire its beam rifle at the flying Hyperion as the Ultimate Coordinator is trying to shoot it down with his precision shooting that gets bothered by an alarm noise from a nearby monitor.
"30 signals are coming from area 23AR, scans indicate that they are TS-MA2 Moebius!" Hachi reported as Kira sees a carrier ship of the OMNI-Force which is an Agamemnon-class ship. "that ship is the Ortygia! It's Canard Pars' ship!"
"so he found his own ship like how I found the Archangel..!" Kira grunts as he sees the Mobile Armors flying straight for the battlefield. "Hachi!" the Gunbarrel Strike had its Gunbarrel pods return to its Striker Pack before it flies away into the air. "can you take care of them while I fight against Canard Pars!?"
"I can! With the help of the Archangel of course!" Hachi replies as the AI got the Launcher pack Skygraspers and the Archangel itself to start firing at the swarm of Moebius Mobile armors.
Kira nods as he can now focus on his foe whose Gundam is flying straight for his.
"Kira Yamato!" Canard shouted as his Gundam mounts out its Forfanterie beam cannon and fired a charged shot.
"Canard Pars!" Kira roars, his Gundam defends against the attack with its shield. Albeit a bit shaken from the shockwave, but the mobile suit pushed through and ejects its Gunbarrel pods that flew straight for the Hyperion and started to fire.
Attack, counter, defend, retaliate, it's just a rinse and repeat cycle of the battle between the two Gundams that close in and bash their heads against each other while their weapons are clashed against one another.
This battle has been long as it has already been almost an hour or so since the fight had begun. Neither he nor Canard seeming to have the edge to take the other out in their fight.
The Gunbarrel Strike flies into the sky as Kira watches the Hyperion chasing after him.
Hachi tried to assist with one Skygrasper flying from behind and was about to fire its equipped Agni, but a rain of bullets and missiles coming from a swarm of Moebius that destroyed the airplane in a big explosion.
"Skygrasper 01 is lost." Hachi reported to Kira who hardens his gaze as Canard Pars is a foe who is truly stronger than anyone he has ever faced in his life.
"raaaahh!" Canard roars out as his Hyperion grabs a nearby dolphin monster by the tail and slams the creature at the Gunbarrel Strike that was about to attack with its beam rifle. The sudden collision with the dolphin monster caused it to lose the beam weapon as the Gundam was quickly kicked roughly by its foe.
"ugh!" Kira grunts as is cockpit shakes hard before it shook even more when the Hyperion grabs the Gunbarrel Strike by the head and then ignites its thrusters at full power to fly away then slams the Gundam through a manta ray monster's stomach and then keeps on doing the same action repeatedly. "aggh!"
"Die! Die! Die!" Canard screams out as the Hyperion flew and keeps on slamming the Gunbarrel Strike against objects in its flight path. "DIE!"
Kira grunts inside is Gundam as he sees and hears the alarm of the danger that he is in.
"Kira! Hurry and change his flight trajectory!" Hachi exclaimed to the pilot. "if you two keep on going this direction!"
BANG!
The Gunbarrel Strike was slammed to the Rescue Airship's front deck and caused its foremast to be broken in half.
"he got me to the rescue airship itself!?" Kira grunts as his Gunbarrel Strike tries to get off but the Hyperion slams a fist to its cockpit area. "ugh!"
The people on the ship fled the area as the Hyperion continues to punch the Gunbarrel Strike's cockpit, planning to break it through and kill the pilot inside.
"Bartfort!" Chris tries to come in and help Kira but the Hyperion aims its beam sub-machine gun then fires a few shots at the turquoise haired man's robot that gets its right leg shot. "ugh!"
The Hyperion fires more shots at any Armor nearby as it got them to move away.
"stop it!" Kira shouted before he grunts when his Gunbarrel Strike grabs the Hyperion's right arm that took hold of one of its beam knives and is now pushing it down with both hands together. "ku!" the young man pushes a lever forward as his gundam tries to push back its robot foe's beam knife from coming anywhere near its cockpit.
"Kira! / Kira-san!" Angelica and Olivia's voice is heard as Kira sees the girls coming by and seeing the struggle of power between the two Gundams.
"What are you two doing here!?" Kira shouted as his voice is heard from his Gundam's speaker. "get away from here!" he soon grunts because the Hyperion had pushed through its beam knife and pierced the right side of the Gunbarrel Strike's waist, just a few inches away from the cockpit. "damnit!"
"Kira-san!" Olivia cries out before she gasps when she sees Angelica grabbing a random nearby pole that she soon throws at the Hyperion.
The pole hitting the Gundam's head before falling away, the Hyperion now turns and looks at Angelica and Olivia.
"get away from our friend!" Angelica shouted all fearlessly.
"damn pests are just buzzing around!" Canard shouted as his Gundam raises its left arm and forms a hard fist. "fuck off you bitches!"
The Hyperion swung down its fist as Olivia instantly close her eyes with her hands on her head while Angelica quickly covers her.
Kira sees his foe's action as he quickly fires his Gundam's Igelstellung at full force, the bullets instantly hitting the frame of the Hyperion, thwarting its actions.
"you little!" Canard shouted as he focuses back on fighting the Gunbarrel Strike that has the gun pods on its head broken when the Hyperion punches its side repeatedly. "you think you can win against me like this!?"
The Hyperion started to punch the Gunbarrel Strike repeatedly as the Gundam just punch it harder by the passing second.
"Kira-san!" Olivia cries out as she raise her hands out and a white magic circle appears in between the Hyperion and the Gunbarrel Strike, the magic circle serves as a shield that blocks the enemy gundam from punching their friend's gundam.
"fuck off!" Canard shouted as his Hyperion turns its head and swung a fist at Olivia who was quickly saved by Angelica who pulled her away in time.
Olivia's focus taken away as the magic circle disappears.
"I'll take care of you lot after I kill this guy first!" Canard shouted as his Hyperion grabs and then raise up the Gunbarrel Strike by the head before it proceeds to punch the Gundam by the cockpit once again but was countered by a punch to the head in return. "lucky shot, bastard!"
The Gundams are now fist fighting on the deck of the rescue airship as their fight is causing it to shake terribly.
Angelica looks at Olivia before she turns and sees the Gunbarrel Strike getting slammed to the deck that now has a large hole that grows. The Gundam tried to get up, but the Hyperion slams its right foot down on its chest then aims its beam sub-machine gun at it.
"this time! DIE, KIRA YAMATO!" Canard shouted.
Angelica's eyes widen as her sense of time started to slow down while she sees the Hyperion slowly pulling the trigger of its beam sub-machine gun.
"STOP!" Angelica shouted while swinging out her right hand and the talisman charm that she wore around her wrist, its red orb shines a red light.
The Hyperion slowly pulls the trigger before it gets bombarded with fire from out of nowhere.
"what the!?" Canard grunts as scorch marks appear all over its head and body frame.
Everyone, even Kira himself is surprised as Angelica is surrounded in a circle of fire that took form of spears.
"Angie…" Olivia looks at Angelica who seems very surprised.
"this fire…" Angelica spoke as she looks at the fire surrounding her. "is this Fire Spear? But I was never able to use it and.." She thought of the reason why she is able to use the fire magic but she decided to think about it later. She turns and then looks at the Hyperion that had moved back from the Gunbarrel Strike after receiving the sudden fiery explosion to its frame. She points a finger at the enemy robot and with a hard gaze shouted. "BURN HIM!"
In her command, the fire spears flew and instantly bombarded against the Hyperion.
"you bitch!" Canard shouted as danger alarms rang in his Gundam's cockpit.
Seeing the chance, Kira got the Gunbarrel Strike to rise up before it proceeds to ram the Hyperion off the rescue airship.
"guh!" Canard grunts as his Hyperion gets thrown off the airship after receiving an additional kick to the cockpit by the Gunbarrel Strike. "you little!"
The Hyperion falls off the rescue airship as the Gunbarrel Strike watches it slowly regains its flight capability before it turns to look at Angelica and Olivia.
Angelica is on her knees as she is panting a bit because using her fire magic actually drained her energy. Olivia came near and held her shoulders before both looks at the Gunbarrel Strike.
"get inside where it is safe and leave this to me." Kira spoke out as his Gunbarrel Strike soon made a thumbs up gesture. "and thanks for the assist, Angie."
Angelica smiles and did a thumbs up gesture in return.
The Gunbarrel Strike nods before it turns and jumps off the rescue airship then flew away as it soon gets chased after by the Hyperion.
"Angie, let's go." Olivia said as she helps Angelica to stand back up.
The two girls goes back into the rescue airship as they leave the battle back into Kira's hands.
In the sky above, the Gunbarrel Strike flies up before it stops and turns to see the Hyperion coming at high speed.
"Seems that I can't afford to be merciful like you wanted me to be, Lacus." Kira spoke out in a whisper of a voice as he grips hold of the lever and control stick in his Gundam's cockpit. The young man going very tense while taking a deep breath and then exhaling, making white condensation form in the glass of his helmet's visor that disappears a few seconds later. "he won't stop until I'm dead, and I doubt Chris and the others would be able to stop him if he tries to get the Fanoss Princess back. to ensure that this world doesn't suffer the same fate as our own world….." he slowly closes his eyes for a second, takes a deep breath, and then opens his eyes that reveals that his pupil shrunk while his iris grows. The young man had his SEED factor awakening as his entire senses and process of thinking have increased as well. "I shall fight."
"DIE! KIRA YAMATO!" Canard shouted as his Hyperion arises and flies straight for the Gunbarrel Strike that ejects its Gunbarrel Pods before proceeding to ready its shield and beam rifle.
The Hyperion flew before it swings one of its beam knives to cut a nearby Gunbarrel Pod in half before it exploded. The Gundam's eyes flashed brightly in the smoke as it turns and looks at the Gunbarrel Strike that only has three of its Gunbarrel pods remaining.
"raaaah! Die!" Canard shouted as his Gundam flew straight for the Gunbarrel Strike while swinging out its beam sword to the side then thrust it forward.
Kira hardens his gaze as he pushed a pedal down and then pulls a control stick back and then forward.
The Gunbarrel Strike's eyes flashes as the mobile suit quickly ignites its thrusters to let it fly to the side before it spins and quickly kicks the Hyperion on its backside.
"ugh!" Canard grunted as his Gundam shook hard.
The Gunbarrel Strike didn't stop its attack as the mobile suit proceeds to ram its shield on the Hyperion's back, pushing the enemy gundam straight to a fanoss airship where they crashed together in a big dust explosion.
Loud electrical crackling noises are soon heard as the dust blows and reveals the Gunbarrel Strike pulling one of the Hyperion's Forfanterie beam cannons that is mounted on its backpack and is slowly getting ripped off.
"you little!" Canard shouted as his Hyperion tried to fire its beam cannons directly at the Gundam, but the Gunbarrel Strike quickly rips one off before using it as a club to bash the gundam down. "ugh!"
Kira continues this bizarre berserker like attack as the Gunbarrel Strike continues to bash the ripped off Forfanterie beam cannon at the Hyperion that quickly counters by igniting its back thrusters at full throttle, causing a huge amount of blue fire to hit the Strike's main visors.
"raaah!" Canard roars as his Hyperion turns and points its beam sub-machine gun at the Gunbarrel Strike and proceeds to fire several shots in rapid trigger.
The Gunbarrel Strike quickly flying away to dodge but some of the Hyperion's shots managed to leave black burned holes on the Gundam's frame while one shot managed to destroy the robot's right eye.
Kira hardens his gaze while sweating a bit as he quickly changes the view of his main camera. The head's camera no longer able to provide him with a good image of the surrounding.
The two Gundams proceed to get into a hand to hand combat battle that had an addition of beam shooting.
"you may be able to project the Armure Lumiere, but only at half usage, Master." Luxion told Canard while showing a screen that has alert signs on the Gundam's damaged areas. "not only that, the right eye sensor, right torso area, back thruster, and a few other instruments on the Hyperion are damaged. This is a battle you are really losing, Master. I repeat, you must retreat."
"just shut up!" Canard shouted as his Hyperion bashes the Gunbarrel Strike's head with a right fist before it gets a shot on the back by a flying Gunbarrel Pod that was destroyed when the Gundam throws one of its beam knives that cause static before the explosion. "pests are everywhere!"
Kira grunts as he continues the battle even with the danger alerts coming from one screen.
The Gunbarrel Strike grabs the Hyperion by the head before it had two of its remaining Gunbarrel Pods return to its back and ignites their thrusters at full power. The Gundam rushes in its flight as it brings its enemy Gundam to crash straight against a passing by shark monster that growls and roars loudly at the two robots.
"Kira! You're overheating the engine!" Hachi exclaimed to Kira who didn't listen as he just pushes the thruster's power at the limits.
The Gunbarrel Strike proceeds to fly as it pushes the Hyperion against the Shark Monster and goes straight for the large whale monster that still carries the Fanoss Empire's flagship on its back.
"Kira! What are you doing!?" Hachi exclaimed as the whale monster has its attention on them. The creature opening its large mouth that has dozens of eyes staring at the incoming gundam and its package. "that monster is still influenced by Princess Hertrude's last command!"
"I know!" Kira exclaims as his Gundam just flies straight into the whale monster's mouth with the Hyperion and the shark monster it brought with.
The Whale Monster opens its mouth and instantly swallows its incoming meal.
Angelica, and Olivia instantly gasps when they saw the whale monster ate their friend and his foe.
They thought that he was dead in an instant, but the monster started to writhe in pain before a green energy blast pierce out of the creature's stomach and then another came from the top that pierce straight through the airship on its back that explodes a second later.
"w-what's going on!?" Angelica asks in pure shock as she had no idea what was going on.
"are t-they fighting…inside it?" Olivia spoke as she looked tense while watching the whale monster just writhing in pain while getting beams coming out of its body followed with smoke.
The Whale Monster roars in pain before it explodes into black ashes and the Hyperion came flying out with the Gunbarrel Strike that lost its shield, and its Gunbarrel Pods.
"DIE! YOU BASTARD!" Canard shouted as his Hyperion held the Gunbarrel Strike's head with its right hand while its left hand takes hold of its beam knife that it thrusts straight for its foe's cockpit area, but the weapon was caught and taken before being used in stabbing on the Gundam's neck area. "you little!"
"Raaah!" Kira let out his battle cry as the Gunbarrel Strike's eyes flashes before it proceeds to push the beam knife deeper into the Hyperion's neck area and into the torso where its plasma beam energy cuts right through the cockpit's ceiling, but Canard is unharmed.
"You think that's enough to kill me!" the foe Coordinator proceeds to have his Hyperion's remaining Forfanterie's beam cannon mount out as it aims at the Gunbarrel Strike's head that gets blasted into smithereens before causing the upper area of the Gundam to explode and sends danger alerts to the pilot.
"DANGER! Multiple damage to several of the mobile suit's instruments and frame! DANGER!" Hachi reported loudly to Kira who just pushed forward and got his Strike to kick away the Hyperion to the sea. "Kira! The Strike can't take any more of this! You're endangering your safety with this prolonged fight!"
"not yet!" Kira shouted as his headless Strike proceeds to fly down somewhere.
The Hyperion regains its flight as it turns towards where the Strike is flying and soon gave chase.
"divert all power into the Armure Lumiere!" Canard shouted as his Hyperion mounts out its Forfanterie beam cannon and extends the light wave shield emitters that creates a partial beam shield that started to take form into a lance. "This time! This one last attack!"
"doing such action would lead to the Hyperion's self-destruction. Master, I do not suggest taking such actions." Luxion stated before Canard bangs a fist to the side.
"just do it!" Canard shouted as his Hyperion flies straight for the Gunbarrel Strike that land on a random Fanoss Airship. "I won't lose! I won't ever lose! I'll prove to the world that I am not a failure!"
The Hyperion's left eye visor flashes before the Gundam flies straight for the Fanoss airship, planning to pierce through and hit the Gunbarrel Strike, but its foe mech was awaiting its coming.
Kira flies the Gunbarrel Strike up as the headless Gundam wields the great sword that the Black Knight; Vandel's Armor once wielded.
"Master, that sword is…" Luxion spoke out as the AI tried to warn its pilot, but Canard ignored it as he is just focused on killing Kira.
"you think a sword like that can defeat my Hyperion!?" Canard shouted as his Hyperion flies straight for the Gunbarrel strike. "DIE!"
"Hachi! Thrusters at full power!" Kira exclaimed before he kicks the bottom pedal with full force as this caused the thrusters remaining on his Gunbarrel Strike to ignite at full power and made the mobile suit fly straight for the Hyperion with the great sword thrusted forward.
Angelica, Olivia, and Hertrude watch this scene as their eyes went wide and their anticipation went to the limits because this is without a doubt the final strike in the battle between Gundams.
"CANARD PARS!" "KIRA YAMATO!" Kira and Canard scream out each other's name as time started to slow down for their senses are going to the limits with how their gundams are coming close to land the final blow.
The Hyperion discharges its power and transfer it to its Armure Lumiere lance that shines brightly while the Gunbarrel Strike thrusts its borrowed great sword that aims straight for its foe's cockpit.
CRASH!
A loud sound of metal shredding metal is heard as the Gunbarrel Strike and the Hyperion flies past each other but in the state of pure catastrophe.
The Hyperion has its entire upper half right side just shredded and cut through as its head, entire right arm, and half of its front and back frame destroyed while Gunbarrel Strike had its left arm incinerated and its right arm almost broke into pieces because of the amount of force it had to use to land the final strike.
"a-a tie!?" Hertrude spoke in shock while her eyes went wide as saucers.
The result of their final clash is a tie as both the Gunbarrel Strike and the Hyperion were incapacitated of any further functions.
"G-Garrett-sama! Both the Black Knight and our hired mercenary has been defeated!" a soldier of Fanoss exclaimed to Garrett who is trembling in fear. "What shall we do!?"
"r-retreat…" Garrett stuttered out. "With what we have left, there's no way we can win against that ship…just…just retreat…" he fell to his knees as he just felt despair. "this isn't how it is supposed to end!"
"damnit! Damnit! Damnit!" Canard shouted as his Hyperion falls from the sky, no longer having any power nor fuel for its thrusters. The Gundam was about to crash into the ocean water but, Luxion came and save it with the large floating legless large robot. "Luxion! The Moebius! Get them all to fire at him! kill him!"
"That is impossible." Luxion replied as all the Moebius were destroyed and shot down by the Archangel and the remaining Skygrasper that flies passed them. "all functional Moebius Mobile Armors have been destroyed, there is none left but our ships."
"then use the cannons for fuck sake!" Canard shouted, the man not caring of the danger alarms and the small fire in his cockpit. The man's gaze is on the Gunbarrel Strike that hovered in the air before an Armor that is piloted by Chris came flying in and supported it. "kill that bastard!"
"that is also impossible." Luxion stated as one static screen shows a vague image of the Archangel coming. "as the Ortyga and my ship will be able to destroy that Kira Yamato individual in his incapacitated mobile suit, there is a 57% calculation of failure due to the enemy ship coming. This battle is a draw with no winner, Master. We must retreat for this is our loss."
"damnit! Damnit!" Canard shouted as Luxion's legless robot flies towards the Ortyga while carrying the Hyperion. "I won't let this be over! I won't let it ever be over! I'll make sure! I'll make sure that I'll kill him no matter what!"
As Canard keeps on shouting and screaming in frustration and utter anger in his Gundam's cockpit, Kira is just breathing heavily within his own.
"Bartfort?! Can you hear me!? Bartfort?! Are you alright in there!? Open the hatch so that I can see!" Chris' voice is heard as Kira didn't reply because he could barely hear him with all the danger alarms ringing in his gundam's cockpit.
"Hachi….the rest…is on you." Kira spoke out a bit softly as his Seed Mode deactivated, the young man's mind is utterly wasted and his body in pain because of the massive pressure that was inflicted upon it from the course of the battle. He takes a deep breath and exhales before adjusting himself on his seat "I have no doubt….that we won't see the last of him…" he looks at one screen showing the Hyperion being taken away by Luxion to the Ortyga that flies by but his attention is more focused to a very large futuristic black airship that appeared out of nowhere. "and I have no doubt….that our next battle…won't be easy…"
"roger." Hachi replied. "I understand."
The Archangel flies by as Chris' Armor flies and takes the Gunbarrel Strike into the opened catapult launcher while the Fanoss forces have retreated with what they have left.
