The time of war is slowly coming as Holfort Kingdom and Fanoss Dukedom will clash in a war that could end either kingdom.
Currently, the Fanoss invasion forces are making their way for Holfort Kingdom as they are getting closer and closer to their goal of destroying the kingdom. Right now, their advanced forces are now in the borders of the kingdom's airspace as many numbers of monsters have been gathered.
On board the main command airship of the fleet, Canard with Luxion watches as to how the view of the Holfort Kingdom is getting closer.
"how much longer till we arrive to the place?" Canard asks Luxion.
"ETA to Holfort Kingdom is 1 hour." Luxion replied after beeping a few times. "Also, maintenance of Super Hyperion's frame and armaments have been completed. The Mobile Suit is prepared at all times."
"Good." Canard said as he soon grins. "just you wait. the time for us to settle our differences once and for all will be coming very soon."
"as much as I am pleased to see your eagerness to face your foe once again, Master." Luxion spoke before the metal ball's red eye slowly glows red. "why must we work together with such a Filth!?"
"suck it up. It's our job." Canard replied while crossing his arms. "if you want to destroy it, burn it, or whatever. You can do it once we finished our job and deal with that guy." he then squinted his eyes and slowly turns around to face someone who came walking towards them. "right now, just deal with it."
Canard and Luxion turns and face Vandel; the former Black Knight who came and stood before them.
"Have you and your Familiar made preparations?" Vandel spoke. "and also remembered the plan?"
"I did and I remembered everything." Canard said while uncrossing his arms and pocketed a hand into his pants. "I'm still young unlike you, old man."
"just make sure that you secure Princess Hertrude safely as requested." Vandel stated with a serious look in his eyes. "her return is an utmost important request by Princess Hertrauda, understood?"
"I know." Canard replied in an annoyed tone before he looks a bit disgusted at Vandel, or rather his right arm. "but to think that you're that desperate for a fight, old man." He points a finger at the former Black Knight's right arm which is for some reason a disgusting and terrifying monster arm with large and small eyes. "you're disgracing what left of your honor with that thing on your damn body."
The disgusting and terrifying monster arm is actually the Demonic Armor Piece that Hertrude had sent back to her forces after acquiring it from the Kingdom's treasury. Garret and a few high officials of the Dukedom discussed on what to do with it and they decided to put it to use. They've sacrificed many soldiers to use such an item, but they all died, all but Vandel who survived and managed to use the Demonic Armor Piece that became a part of his own body.
"I'm no longer a knight bound by honor after my defeat at the hands of that boy." Vandel said while raising his demonic arm that pulses its eyes. "right now, I'm merely a soldier of Fanoss whose duties are to serve my superior's commands. Just that."
"you make it sound like you're going to die afterwards…" Canard said as he clicked his tongue before he looks at Luxion a bit annoyed because the AI's drone is just looking angry because of how it is releasing static and its red lense just glows brightly. "I told you to suck it up, so suck it up."
"I CANNOT SUCK ANYTHING UP! AND I HATE THE FACT THAT I MUST WORK TOGETHER WITH A HUMAN WHO WOULD USE THAT PIECE OF FILTH! #$%^fdsdfghjjhgf!" Luxion shouted all angrily as the AI's drone unleashes steam.
Canard looks at Luxion all annoyed before he turns and sees many other soldiers of Fanoss gathering around them.
"Vandel-sama, all preparations have been completed." A soldier reported to the knight. "we are ready to invade the despicable kingdom!"
"good." Vandel nodded before he looks at Canard. "before we begin, let us repeat the mission's objective."
"for crying out loud.." Canard sighs in annoyance before he snaps his fingers and Luxion projected a 3D-hologram image of the Fanoss fleet coming to the Kingdom's borders.
"first, our detached forces shall be focusing our attack on the kingdom while Canard Pars and his Armor leave to save Princess Hertrude." Vandel spoke out as the 3D-Hologram made arrow marks that moves forward. "remember, we must expect an attack from them and therefore we must do our utmost best to cripple their forces." He then looks at one soldier. "are the flares prepared?"
"yes, each one prepared." The soldier nodded while saluting.
"Remember that use the flares once we've breached the Kingdom's forces." Vandel stated. "Understood?"
"Understood!" the soldiers responded before they all went straight for their stations.
Vandel watches his subordinates go to their positions before he looks at Canard.
"Remember." Vandel spoke out. "you are to rescue Princess Hertrude and not to engage with that knight." His right eye's color soon became black and monstrous. "Understood?"
Canard hardens his gaze at Vandel for a moment, the mercenary man unpleased with the idea of the old knight taking away his prey.
"Whether you fight against him with that arm of yours or not, you'll just die either way." Canard said as he crossed his arms and then turned around to walk away. "I'll just wait for the time to come for me and that guy to come face in this battle once and for all."
Vandel watches Canard and Luxion leave before he turns to look at the sight of the clouds parting away to reveal the growing size of the Holfort Kingdom that is coming into view.
Meanwhile in the underground hangar located beneath the Holfort Castle, the discovered and unsealed Eternal is undergoing completely overhaul of its engine and thrusters as Hachi and his worker robots are working hard in changing the parts of the spaceship.
Lacus is standing near the rails as the pink haired princess is wearing the same outfit she wears for battle on board the Eternal.
Currently, she is watching the undergoing changes on the pink spaceship. She watches a pair of Gladius Armors working together in removing one of the Eternal's Thrusters and then proceeds to take it away while a group of robot workers came and then attaches a new thruster mod which was inserted and then attached the piece to the ship.
"Princess Lacus." Angelica along with Olivia appears on the scene as the two came to Lacus who glance at them before she turns to look back at the Eternal.
"How is the evacuation going?" Lacus asks.
"It is going smoothly." Angelica replied with a nod before she and Olivia looks at the Eternal. "Clarice and Deidre are overseeing their respective household's citizens along with their neighboring lands."
"That is good to hear." Lacus nods before she glances at Olivia who seems a bit worried. "is there a problem?"
"n-no…" Olivia shakes her head. "nothing…it's just…" she then looks at Angelica who had placed a hand to her shoulder. "Angie.."
"Olivia, you have to speak clearly to her about your worry or you'll regret it." Angelica said with a nod.
The short haired blonde looks a bit unsure at first before she nods and looks at Lacus.
"u-um..Princess Lacus..must Kira-san participate in this battle?" Olivia asks and her question made the pink haired princess raise an eyebrow and make a small confused yet surprised noise. "He already fought against the Fanoss Forces once and against that man and his Lost Item as well." She grasps her hands together as she looks worried. "Kira-san is already hurt enough after fighting against them, but if he fights them again…"
"I see.." Lacus spoke before nodding. "you're afraid that Kira won't be able to handle another battle against the Fanoss forces, correct?"
"We both are worried for him." Angelica added in as she thought back of the first battle between Kira and Canard that ended in a brutal draw. "He's been through much and just the thought of him going back into a war that had mentally and physically exhaust him…." she hardens her gaze downwards when she remembered the time her friend had a nightmare that made him look to be in complete pain. "it's just too painful."
"I see…" Lacus whispers.
"Please, Princess Lacus." Olivia clasped her hands together to her chest as she looks at the princess with pleading eyes. "Please don't let Kira-san go to the battle. He's been through much and if he participates in this battle…"
"I understand your concerns." Lacus nods as she looks at the two before she closed her eyes and gently tilts her head down. "but I am afraid to say that I cannot stop Kira."
"w-what?! how come!?" Angelica exclaimed in pure surprise and confusion. "you just have to tell him and!"
"even if I told him to stop, he won't." Lacus shakes her head before opening her eyes to look at the two. "Kira has determined himself to participate in this battle and he won't back down." She then looks at the Eternal. "that is why I cannot stop him from participating in the battle that he must face no matter what."
"How can you say that!?" Olivia cried out. "we're worried that Kira-san will get hurt after the battle and you're still saying that he should just go into the battle!? Why!?"
"It is because it is his fate." Lacus replied as she looked back at the two. "it is his fate to face Canard Pars in the battle to decide their existence in this world."
"his fate isn't what matters here!" Angelica exclaimed. "You don't have any idea how terrifying the battle between the two were that day! They battled till they destroyed everything in sight! After that, Kira had an anguishing nightmare that looked like he was in pure pain! You still say that it is his fate to do battle against that man once again!?"
"yes." Lacus nods. "It his fate to battle against Canard Pars in the war" she then turns to look at the Eternal once more. "it is destiny for the two to battle and settle their differences once and for all." she closed her eyes for a moment and then turns her head to open her eyes that glanced at the two. "I'm certain that the two of you remember the predictions from the Elven Elder?"
"predictions?" Angelica and Olivia thought about it for a moment and they made a surprised noise when they remembered the fortune that the elf elder had given to them in reward for their actions at the island.
"One whose life has been chaos and despair and the other in peace, but his hands were tainted in blood and darkness." Lacus spoke in remembering the fortune that the elder elf given to Kira and Canard. "the battle between the two is the battle of their existence at the cost. They are doomed to battle each other to the death no matter the causes." She closed her eyes and thought back to the first time she saw Kira and Canard facing one another, the pink haired princess knowing that there was a tense moment between the two. "It is destiny that the two are to settle their differences in the coming battle."
"even if you say that!" Angelica cried out. "are you not worried for Kira?!"
"I am worried." Lacus said as she opened her eyes and looks at Angelica. "every single passing moment, I worry anxiously for him before the coming battle. I worry for him when the time comes for his battle against his destined foe. there is never a time I do not worry for him."
"Then why!?" Olivia said. "if you're worried for him just as we are! Why won't you stop him!?"
"it is because I believe in Kira." Lacus replied. "I believe that he is strong enough to face his destined foe in the coming battle. I believe that he will come through and come back safe to us." She then looks at the Eternal. "that is why I won't stop him. that is why I will not stop Kira from going to the battle."
"just because of that…" Angelica whispers as she looks a bit frustrated. "even if its Kira. This battle…"
"may be the most dangerous one he has ever faced." Lacus stated with a nod as she turns to look back at the two. "I hope that the both of you can understand that this is something we cannot stop no matter what."
"but…" Olivia still looks worried and still adamant on the idea of Kira going into battle but Angelica place a hand to her shoulder in order to get her attention. "Angie?"
"I don't think we can change Kira's mind if we wanted to." Angelica said as she frowns a bit sadly. "just like the elf elder once said…..we must understand our boundaries with the one who changed our lives. We must never trifle with one's past and never force our ideals to another. That duty belongs to one person and one person only" She then looks at Lacus. "her."
"Angie…" Olivia looks at Angelica and then at Lacus who faces them before she turns to look back at the Eternal.
"We shall be leaving now, Princess Lacus." Angelica said before bowing her head to the princess. "Forgive us for interrupting your time and we are grateful for the conversation with you."
"yes. And thank you for being there for Kira's friends." Lacus nodded while having a small smile. "I'm certain that he is forever grateful to have you all as his friends."
"so do we." Angelica nods.
After some small talk, Angelica and Olivia leaves the hangar as one of the Duke Redgrave's subordinates came to pick the two up as they were needed to be brought to safety.
Lacus watched the two leave before she turns to look at the Eternal as she caught sight of Kira coming out of the opened Launcher Catapult to receive some parts from a worker robot that carried to him before he reenters the hangar.
Sometime later. Within the Eternal's Hangar, the Freedom and the Justice are currently being given maintenance by the worker robots as they all worked hard and efficient in repairing any small and minor damages the two Mobile Suits may or may not have.
Currently, in the cockpit of Freedom. Kira is doing a full check of the system of his mobile suits as he checked its N-Jammer Canceller, weaponry, and its PS System. The young man checking every part of his Gundam's systems as he did it twice to make sure that there are no mistakes.
"CPG Settings complete, Neural Linkage, Ion Density Normal." Kira muttered as his eyes checks on every screen while his fingers typed the keys on a keyboard very fast. "Updating Meta Motor Cortex Parameters with direct information from Strike. Nuclear Reactor Critical. Power flow stable, all systems green.."
Twice did Kira checked every system of his Gundam, the young man wanting to make sure that his powerful mobile suit is prepared for the coming battle.
As Kira was still checking the system of his Freedom, he hears a few beeps from a nearby console which connected a communication channel with Hachi.
"What is it, Hachi?" Kira asks as he is focused on checking the systems of his Gundam.
"Preparations for the upcoming battle is 85,4% complete." Hachi reported while showing the live recording image of the Gladius and Espada Airships flying and roaming the skies of Holfort Kingdom. "The Mass Produced Espada Airships and Gladius Armors have been equally distributed to the Holfort Kingdom's military personnels and they're all being formed into a strategic military formation as advised."
"What about the evacuation?" Kira asks as he took a glance at the screen.
"57%, it's going rather slow, but it is at a steady pace." Hachi replied before making a few beeping noises and then showing a live recording image of the citizens of Holfort Kingdom being taken to evacuation airships and then to an image of people making a riot against the knights. "However there are riots being caused by nobles who are against the fight and wish to flee."
"Even during times of war, there are always people against it…" Kira whispers before he sighs as he focuses back on checking his Gundam's systems. "try your best to evacuate them. Even if they don't wish it, we still need to save their lives no matter what."
"Understood." Hachi replied before beeping. "Kira, Lacus is currently waiting for you outside."
"What?" Kira checks and activates his Gundam's camera systems as one screen shows Lacus standing near the Freedom's feet while carrying a brown paper bag in hand. "Lacus?"
Afterwards, Kira exited his Gundam's cockpit as he got down via the help of the line rod that descends him to the floor where Lacus is waiting for him.
"What's wrong, Lacus?" Kira asks his pink haired princess.
"Nothing much." Lacus shakes her head before she smiles while holding up the paper lunch bag. "it's just that it's time for a meal."
A minute later, Kira and Lacus sit at the right foot of the Freedom as they both or rather the Ultimate Coordinator is having lunch which is just sandwiches and fruits along with a canister of water.
"Sorry that it isn't much." Lacus said as she is peeling the skin of an apple while Kira is eating his sandwiches. "With the coming battle, the kingdom's supplies are all focused to the soldiers and only these were available."
"it's fine." Kira said with a smile before he ate a sandwich down to the last bite before he took out another from the paper bag. "Eating these will fill me and give me enough strength for the battle."
"I'm glad to hear that." Lacus nods with a smile.
"how are things with the evacuation and such?" Kira asks. "I heard from Hachi that it's not going too smoothly."
"it isn't." Lacus said as she sighs a bit. "Some nobles are too selfish on their own safety than that of the Kingdom. It has been rather tiring to get them to be evacuated or participating in the upcoming battle."
"perhaps it is best not to force them?" Kira said and Lacus shakes her head.
"In the kingdom, if a noble family doesn't participate in a battle for the Kingdom, it would mean that they are forfeiting their noble status and be regarded as traitors." Lacus explained to Kira. "I've seen many nobles act in such a manner and each one showed a very non-honorable action once found guilty."
"I see…" Kira slowly nods his head in understanding before he sighs. "Seems that things here are so different with our world in more than a few ways."
"yes." Lacus nodded as she looks at the ceiling before she looks down and frowns a bit when she went and glanced at Kira for a moment. "Kira" she called out to him while turning to face him. "I need to ask you something."
"What is it?" Kira replied while unscrewing the cap of the canister.
"Are you in love with Angelica and Olivia?" Lacus asks and Kira who was in the middle of drinking water from the canister instantly choked and did a spit take.
After choking a bit and easing his breathing, Kira looks a bit pale-ish blue towards Lacus.
"w-what makes you ask that?" Kira asks while having a very nervous looking face. "the t-three of us are just…"
"You are not just friends." Lacus interjected, the pink haired diva knowing what Kira plans to say. She slowly closed the distance between the two as she leans closer to her lover while having a very sceptic stare of a look on him. "after all, the three of you…" her eyes soon turns hollow of life as she stared into the young man's eyes and his very soul. "Shared some kisses, right~?"
Kira felt his entire life in pure danger as ice cold shivers were running up and down his spine.
"w-well…that's…um.." Kira tried to speak, but seeing Lacus' lifeless eyes just made it very impossible. "um…Lacus…I…"
"Why is it that they kissed you? Why?" Lacus asks. "tell me."
"t-that's…." Kira felt cornered like a rat whose life is being threatened by a large cat and that cat is Lacus who is staring at him. "that's…"
Kira wanted to run away but seeing how there's no chances to escape, he took a deep breath, steeled his resolve, and speak out what he has been doing after he first met Angelica, and Olivia.
Lacus listens carefully to each words he uttered as her eyes just grew cold when he frightenedly speak out about that one little incident of him being in bed with Angelica and Olivia.
After about 30 minutes or so, Kira is now looking extremely scared towards Lacus whose body is covered in a chilling pinkish white aura while her hair is mysteriously flowing like they are possessed by a spirit.
"Kira…do you have any excuses for what you've done?" Lacus asks in a chilling whisper of a voice.
"N-No…" Kira replied as he was sure that it was at this moment, his destined death has come for him.
"I see…" Lacus said with her eyes just glowing a grayish white glow under the shadows of her bangs. "Have you resolved yourself to be punished accordingly?"
"y-yes.." Kira said with his eyes closed and his body just shaking in fear.
A second later, Kira was pushed to the floor by Lacus who got on top of him.
"L-Lacus?" Kira looked bewildered at Lacus who hovers over him before she leans down to his right side. "What a-are you…" he soon looks in surprise and in pain when his pink haired princess suddenly bites and sucks the right side of his neck, leaving a very red hickey mark on each part of his skin. "L-Lacus!?"
Lacus didn't respond to Kira as she just continued to leave hickey marks on his neck.
"w-wait! Lacus!" Kira cried out as the sensation of getting the hickey marks is very tickling and weirdly strange. He wanted to push her away, but Lacus has a firm grip on him and her sucking and biting is just weakening him. "please!"
Constantly begging and pleading his lover, Kira tried to get out of the situation, but all his actions were futile cause of how his strength was being sapped away by Lacus.
After 10 minutes or so, Kira lies on the floor in a defeated state. The young man's neck covered with kiss and hickey marks and his attire is a bit wet from sweat and slightly stretched because he was getting hickey marked by Lacus who is sitting on his waist and looking down at him.
"L-Lacus…why…" Kira looks up and he soon made a slightly confused look because Lacus is showing a very adorable and slightly red pouting jealous of a face. "L-Lacus?"
"Did you really do it with the two of them?" Lacus spoke as she looks incredibly jealous. "Did you?"
"did i?" Kira looks confused at first before he realized what she was asking and it made his face red. "n-no!" he shakes his head as fast as he could. "I didn't want to do it with them! I just!"
As Kira is trying to assure Lacus that he didn't do anything that is considered cheating to her, the pink haired princess stares down at him before her pouting jealous face slowly softens to a smile.
"I see.." Lacus said before she leans down and hovers her face near Kira's. "you didn't, right? Nothing at all, right? Only kisses, right?"
"y-yeah?" Kira replied as he stares at Lacus who smiles even more before she leans down and connects their lips together.
Kira was bit surprised at first before his eyes slowly closed and the young man's arms circled around Lacus' waist and held her very close to him.
The two remained in their position as their lips stayed connected before they separated when their lungs needed air.
Lacus hovers her face near Kira's, the pink haired princess stares at the Ultimate Coordinator before she leans down and rests her head near the right side of the young man's face.
"Kira, please listen to me…" Lacus whispers as Kira glances at her. "before I came here, Angelica and Olivia came to me and asked me to tell you to not participate in the upcoming battle."
"Angie and Livia did?" Kira whispers while looking a bit surprised.
"They begged me to stop you, but I told them that I can't because I know you won't stop." Lacus said as she adjusted herself and hugs Kira who in return hugged her back. "you won't stop to fight for the sake of others. you won't stop fighting because you want to protect everyone." She smiles a bit while leaning closer to her beloved man. "to be honest, I wanted to stop you but I know that you won't listen to what I say no matter what. right?"
"that's…." Kira wanted to reply but he went silent and just thought about it for a moment before he sighs a bit. "Yes. I won't." he looks up while his hands caresses Lacus' back and long pink hair. "I always thought that I could run away from a battle that I didn't desire to be a part of, but after coming to this world and seeing how there is the plague of war growing over it. I've decided to not run away anymore." He then looks at the princess and smiles. "after all, power is only power. I have to be wise and brave in using it after all."
"that's right.." Lacus said as she hugs Kira even more. "that's the Kira I know and love."
"thank you, Lac-…igh!?" Kira was about to thank Lacus for her compliment but the pink haired princess suddenly grasped his neck in the hug to the point it hurt him. "L-Lacus? T-That h-…" his face soon went pale as his eyes turns to glance at his princess who is smiling so sweetly to him while her eyes were hollowed of life. "L-L-L-Lacus?"
"I know you, Kira. I love you very much…but the thought of you having such a night with not only one girl but two girl is just too…" Lacus whispers softly and very coldly to Kira as she held him even closer while her body glows in a darkish pink aura. "..Irritating…"
"L-Lacus?" Kira looks incredibly pale and scared as he is shivering in fear to the sight of his pink haired diva looking so sweetly scary. "I-I'm…"
"after everything is over….after we bring peace to the Kingdom…" Lacus smiles even more sweeter while slowly squinting her life hollowed eyes that stares straight at Kira and his very soul. "Let's have a very long and nice talk in my bedroom, alright~?"
"y-y-y-yes…" Kira could only respond in a very scared shaking voice as he was sure that he had to do his best to make Lacus happy again or it'll be the end of his own life.
As Kira is being scared by Lacus, Hachi whose little copter drone was hovering above, had seen it all and could only feel a sense of guilt and pity.
"Perhaps it was a mistake to have Angelica and Olivia help Kira after that battle…" Hachi replied as the AI watches the two from above before its lense glows and beeps several times then the Eternal's alarm rang loudly.
The alarm surprised both Kira and Lacus who looks up in surprise before they see Hachi's drone come hovering to their side.
"Warning! Wide Sensors have picked up on the Fanoss Advance Forces' arrival to the Kingdom's borders!" Hachi reported before projecting a live image of monsters swarming into the Holfort Kingdom's airspace and the Fanoss fleet that are coming afterwards. "The military forces are now engaging the enemies with aid the Battle Programmed Espada Airships and Gladius Armors!" the image changes and shows the Gladius Armors along with the Kingdom's other mass produced Armors going on the attack against the monsters and Fanoss Armors which are shooting each other down. "Enemy Forces' numbers are 5 times larger than our own! Remaining military forces of the Kingdom are now coming to aid!"
"they're here." Kira said as he shook away the fear that he once had from Lacus and slowly picks himself up with the princess. The young man then looks at the screen which showed the one large airship of the Fanoss Forces which he was the flag ship. "Hachi, get the Archangel to intercept and launch out the Strike and the other Gundams for battle. And also, have a group of Gladius and Espada to continue to aid with the citizen's evacuation."
"Roger." Hachi replied.
"Kira, there's also the need for a handful of Armors and Airships to protect the Holfort Academy." Lacus spoke to Kira who looks at her with look of confusion. "There is no doubt that the Fanoss forces will dispatch a team to retrieve and rescue Princess Hertrude who is currently residing there."
"I see.." Kira nods before he looks at Hachi's drone. "Hachi."
"Sending Espada 45 and 46 to Holfort Academy at once." Hachi replied, the AI already doing the command in an instant.
Kira nods as he was about to leave but stops when Lacus held his hand.
"Kira, remember to not push yourself too much." Lacus said while holding his hand up and held it with both hands. "this battle will without a doubt be the most deadliest of them all." she clasped his hands tighter while showing a worried look to him. "be careful, understand?"
"I know." Kira nods before he gives her a kiss on the forehead and then an assuring smile. "I promise that I'll be careful." He then caresses her cheeks. "and I promise that I will return to you." He leans close and shared a kiss with Lacus for a minute before separating. "for sure."
Lacus smiles before they shared another kiss and the pink haired princess then let go of his hand.
"Get to safety, alright?" Kira told Lacus who nodded before the young man turns and went straight for the wire which he grabs and then yanked it once to activate the pulling system that ascends him to his Gundam's cockpit.
Lacus watches Kira get to the Gundam's cockpit before he looks at Hachi who is still projecting the live image of the warring battle that has begun.
"Hachi, is the Eternal completed and prepared for battle?" Lacus asks the AI.
"Mobility system has been completed, however the weapons' systems have not fully been calibrated." Hachi replied while projecting the image of the Eternal from the outside. The ship still being given maintenance by the worker robots. "in an estimated 30 minutes or so, it will be completed."
"I see." Lacus nods. "give a message to the remaining nobles to act against the enemy and inform guards to come to Queen Mylene's side."
"understood." Hachi replied after beeping a few times.
Lacus nods in gratitude before she looks at the Freedom, the Gundam's Phase Shift Armor activating and made the Mobile suit come to life with its eyes flashing yellow. The pink haired princess prayed for the safety of her beloved man for a moment before she turns and looks at the Justice Gundam that remained deactivate due to the lack of a pilot.
The Pink haired princess stares at the Justice for a moment before she slightly stumbles on herself when the ship and possible the entire hangar was shaking due to a bombing attack from the Fanoss forces.
"we can't wait for the weapon system to be finished here." Lacus said before she looks at the Freedom that is now moving out of its base and straight for the Catapult Launcher that is now opening. "we have to participate in the battle now." She then looks at Hachi's drone that was about to fly away. "Hachi! Wait!"
"What is it?" Hachi asks as the AI's drone turns and looks at her.
"Get the Eternal ready for launch." Lacus said as she looks very serious. "I shall participate in this battle as well."
"are you sure? Kira did tell you to get to safety and.." Hachi replied but the look on Lacus' face made the AI think otherwise. "very well, but the recalibration of the weapons systems are still incomplete. The Eternal won't be able to fight after launching."
"I shall help in its recalibration." Lacus said as she begins walking to an entrance door with the drone following. "prepare the Eternal for launch."
"as you wish." Hachi replied before the Eternal's entire systems activated.
a few minutes earlier, at the Holfort Academy.
The Teacher of the academy's etiquette class is currently brewing tea in a private tearoom as he is serving as a waiter for two occupants who are having a direct and secretive meeting.
The two are Mylene and Hertrude. Both rulers of Holfort Kingdom and Fanoss Dukedom are sitting face to face and are having tea together.
No one spoke a word during the beginning of the meeting, but after some time Mylene spoke out first.
"Princess Hertrude, can't you stop this war?" the queen asks the princess who just scoffed in return.
"It's impossible." She said while waving a hand to the side and having a small smirk on her face. "The principality has endured for dozens of years until now for this day." Her smirk then grew. "This time it's your country's turn to be trampled."
Hearing her reply, Mylene merely closed her eyes and sighs softly.
"I see.." Mylene whispers before she opened her eyes and looks at Hertrude with a slightly pitying look. "I understand your feeling that want to say that the kingdom is to blame. But it seems that you have been fooled in your life."
"fooled? Is that some sort of a joke?" Hertrude said before chuckling. "if this is some sort of ruse to get me to tell my kingdom to surrender. Forget it, it won't work." She raise her hand up while still smirking. "with the magic flute in my sister's possession and the monsters we've amassed in the years. Your kingdom will fall." She then chuckles. "but if you still had Count Bartfort with you, you might still have a chance of surviving. Too bad that he isn't here to help you anymore."
"I doubt that Count Bartfort will be the least of your concerns as of now." Mylene said before she presented a very old document and a single book that she had brought for the private meeting. "right now, your concerns is the truth."
"The truth?" Hertrude looks confused as she looks at the book and old document. "What are those?"
"Read the document first." Mylene said as Hertrude looks at the queen all sceptic before she looks at the two items and then proceeded to take the document which she reads and sees that it held information of the time the Fanoss Dukedom separated from the Holfort Kingdom and declared its independence.
"during the time of its independence, the Fanoss Dukedom…" Hertrude reads the content in a whisper before her eyes widen when she read one part of the content. "attacked the Kingdom in an act of war!?" she then furiously look at Mylene. "what is the meaning of this!?" she held up the paper document. "These are all lies! The principality fought the kingdom for its independence due to the unjust treatment from them! This is a forgery!"
Mylene looked toward Hertrude with completely exasperated eyes.
"So you have been raised hearing only the pretty story." Mylene spoke before sighing. "You're really a wonderful princess as a puppet." She then held up the book. "What is written in this book is the history of the Kingdom and the Principality. The real history."
"What?" Hertrude's eyes slightly widen in confusion and surprise.
Mylene begins to tell the story of how the king of the principality who is a former archduke of Holfort Kingdom; was connected to a country that was hostile toward the kingdom and attacked the kingdom many times. He pillaged the territory he invaded without the slightest mercy. The military power of the archduke house was considerable, so the kingdom was at a complete loss. Even though it would be simple to crush a single archduke house, the kingdom also had other enemies in the surrounding, so they were unable to exert their full strength. Because of that, Brad's house the Field House was appointed as feudal lord of that area to protect the national border.
"They prepared military installations, assembled airships, and turned floating island into fortress." Mylene spoke as she reads the history written in the book. "That was an enormous expenditure of fund and material."
The history continues in stating that the kingdom was angry at the archduke house and treated them not as retainer but as enemy country. When the archduke house introduced itself as principality, they became unable to continue their pillaging like before and they were temporarily exhausted. Furthermore Field House was pinning down the principality. As the result, the principality tried to assemble military strength. In order to obtain floating stone from floating island that was still lived in by people, they bombarded and destroyed the island. Floating stone was an indispensable resource for airship construction. In order to gather it, they destroyed a single floating island that had people living there. The kingdom and Field House were enraged and defeated the military of the principality. They were made to pay reparation, which was written in the document that Hertrude was holding right now.
"The principality attacked the kingdom again even after that. The damage became small after a feudal lord was positioned there, but the grudge didn't vanish." Mylene spoke as she closes the book in her hands. "When the kingdom attacked the principality previously, the soldiers who marched there were the people who lived in the place that had been pillaged by the principality until then." she had her eyes closed for a moment before she opens them to look at Hertrude who looks baffled and also enraged. "The principality really loves to pillage from the kingdom aren't they?"
"Wrong! The principality fought for our independence!" Hertrude shouted while getting off her seat. "It was because the kingdom forced us into an unfair treaty!"
"We only demanded reparation." Mylene stated calmly as she looks at Hertrude before at the teacher who presented tea for the two. "Though the principality didn't have any intention to pay at all at that time. They lost so they paid reluctantly." She then looks back at the Fanoss princess. "Was it the kingdom's fault that their living became tough because of that?"
Hertrude's face went red and her hand moved to take a cup, but the teacher quickly moved in to take it away.
"my, this tea seems not well mixed." He spoke with a smile. "I shall properly mix it for you, Princess. Excuse me."
Hertrude glared at the teacher in frustration, she then glares back at Mylene who is just sipping her tea very calmly.
"You have the duty to know." Mylene said with her eyes closed. "Certainly the kingdom pillaged the principality's territory. But…" she opens her eyes and looks very serious at the Princess of Fanoss. "it's troubling that you had forgotten how it started to reach that point."
Hertrude felt her mind being thrown into a blender as she is starting to misthink things that she has been told her whole life. About the history between the two kingdoms, and about the hatred that is shared between the two.
As the teacher was still mixing Hertrude's tea, he saw something from the distance through the window. He adjusted his monocle and he soon sees the large fleet of Fanoss forces and monsters that are coming.
"Your Majesty, it would seem that the Fanoss forces have arrived." The teacher spoke out to Mylene who is sipping her tea before she looks out the window and saw the coming enemy forces.
"They're faster than expected." Mylene said before she and the teacher hears sirens roaring loudly and they see the sight of the Kingdom's military forces charging in on the attack with the company of the Espada Airships and Gladius Armors. "and it would seem that Count Bartfort was expecting them to arrive early."
"yes." The teacher nodded before he glanced at Princess Hertrude who is silent because she is trying to process the thought of what is really the truth in her life. "are they here to rescue her highness?"
"That's possible. The magic flute mustn't be allowed to fall into their hand." Mylene stated before she turns and saw the Archangel flying into the battle while already launching out the Strike, Duel, Buster, Aegis, and Buster on Guurus.
Before long, Kingdom soldiers entered the room.
"Queen Mylene! We have arrived here to escort you to safety!" one of the soldiers reported loudly to the queen who nodded.
"I shall be taking my leave now." Mylene said and the teacher bowed. "please get to safety if you wish."
"Thank you for coming and I hope that I may serve you again in the future, My queen." The teacher spoke as the queen leaves with the soldiers but a few stayed behind to watch over Hertrude who remained on her seat, completely fazed out of her mind.
"attack!" a Fanoss armor's pilot shouted as he and a squadron of Armors are flying into the land of Holfort Kingdom. "teach the Kingdom dogs the meaning of the word PAIN!"
"RIGHT!" the squadron of Fanoss armors reported as they started to attack the Holfort military forces but just as they were about to fire their weapons against their enemies. A rain of green plasma beams and missiles came down and destroyed their mech's arms, legs, and head. "aggghh!"
"w-what the!?" the leader of the squadron exclaimed in shock as his Armor looks at the defeated forces before it looks up and sees the Aegis come flying in with its beam sabers deployed. "what in the!?"
SLASH! SLASH! SLASH!
The Fanoss Armor was slashed into pieces by the Aegis that was behind it, the Pinkish red Gundam turns its head to look at the defeated mech before it tilts its head up and then ignites its thruster to fly into the air and gets on its Guuru that came to pick it up.
The war had begun as the battle between Holfort and Fanoss had come.
Explosions bloomed in the sky, Black smoke covered the capital, the sky turned dark as if it disappeared from the sight of the starting war.
Citizens still left in the kingdom's lands were running away in fear as mass produced kingdom armors were fighting against the descended Fanoss forces in battle. The Kingdom soldiers doing their best to evacuate everyone to safety.
"Kill them all!" a Fanoss Armor struck down a Holfort Armor before it points out a rifle weapon and started firing multiple shots at the surrounding building which gets destroyed. "show them no mercy!"
More Fanoss armors were coming as they all landed and joined their sortied forces in attacking the kingdom and destroying the land.
"Advance! Advance to the Kingdom!" a captain of the Fanoss forces commanded as he rode a customized Fanoss Armor and is giving out the commands to his subordinates. "focus your attacks on the Kingdom soldiers! Make sure that we are making an opening for Vandel-sama!"
"Captain! 12 o clock! An enemy is coming!" a subordinate in an Armor shouted to the captain's armor that looks up and sees that Strike which is equipped with all the Striker Pack weapons, is coming to their direction from above while riding on its Guuru. "it's the Armed Knight!"
"here he comes!" the captain sees the Strike coming and he soon raise his Armor's weapons. "all units! Fire at will! Destroy that monster!"
"Roger!" the subordinate ready their Armor's weapons but before they could fire, one of them was suddenly destroyed from out of nowhere.
"w-what happened!?" the captain exclaimed as the Armors turned to look at what had happened to one of their ally. The destroyed Armor was left in shambles as its chest part was left spared as it was slashed apart by the Blitz Gundam that appeared out of nowhere. "w-where did this one come from!?"
The Fanoss Armors readied their weapons against the Blitz but the black Gundam's eyes flash blue before its shoulder parts expanded and the mobile suit turned transparent and disappeared.
"I-It disappeared!" one Fanoss soldier shouted before his Armor was kicked to the ground and its arms and legs were cut off by the invisible Blitz. "agggh!"
"it turned invisible! How do we fight something like this!?" another fanoss soldier panicked as his Armor tried to find its enemy but because of their attention was on the Blitz, none of them were focused on the Strike that flew off its Guuru and landed on the land with its Schwert Gewerh ready.
The Strike's eyes flash yellow before the Gundam's thrusters ignited at full throttle and it dashes straight for the Fanoss Armors with its large sword weapon swung.
SLASH!
In one full swing, the Perfect Strike cut down the heads of 5 Fanoss armors in one go before the Blitz appeared and the stealth Gundam fired several precise energy beam shots from its Trikeros shield which destroyed the enemy armors' arms and legs, rendering them immobile.
"S-So strong!" the Fanoss forces that were still in the air saw the Strike and Blitz' attacks as the two Gundams are taking out their allies and reducing their numbers at a fast pace. "w-what are these guys!?"
"don't falter! It's just the two of them!" a random Fanoss soldier shouted from his Armor. "it's just two of them! If we close in on them and attack from all sides! Not even they'd be!" before long his mech was shot down by a charged energy beam attack from the land. "aggh!"
The Fanoss forces look at where the attack came from as they see that it was from the Perfect Strike that had loaded out its Agni. The barrel of the weapon was steaming as the Gundam raised it up and its eyes flashed yellow.
The Gundam ejected a used up energy cell before it aims its Agni at the Fanoss forces and unleashed a charge shot that flew straight for them.
"D-Disperse!" a Fanoss soldier screamed as the forces flew away from the energy shot that flies into the sky and then hits the bottom of a Fanoss airship that began to fall from the sky while leaving a trail of smoke from its destroyed hull.
"a-a single shot destroyed one of our newest airship!?" "b-but how!?" "it was reinforced! It was impossible! How could it!" the Fanoss forces began to panic as things were starting to become worse for their attack.
As they were all being focused on their fear, a star appeared and the Duel Gundam flies in before it unleashes a full salvo of its weaponry that rains down on the Fanoss forces and instantly cause their armors' limbs to explode and their capability to fly to be rendered useless.
The Duel watches the Armors fall from the sky before it turns to the side and then flies to another side of the battlefield with the Strike and Blitz following behind.
This battle that had begun, it was slowly being tipped into the favor of the Kingdom as the Five Gundams were shifting the balance of power in mere minutes.
in the flag ship of the Fanoss forces, Vandel watches the battle from the command post as he sees how his Dukedom forces are being taken down by the Five Gundams and the Archangel that is advancing into the battlefield.
"Seems that the time has come." Vandel spoke as he looked at his monster arm that is pulsating its eyes around. "Time to see why this armor is so feared."
"you will die." Canard's voice is heard as Vandel turns his head to see the man coming his way.
Canard was wearing his pilot suit on and holding his helmet by his right side, the young man looking a bit annoyed and pissed. The same could be said for Luxion as the AI sees the pulsating black arm.
"You seem to be frustrated by something." Vandel spoke.
"What do you think?" Canard said as he clicks his tongue and looks at the battle. The man sees the Perfect Strike flying around and shooting down the Fanoss airships with its Agni. "That Gundam isn't piloted by him. it's completely on autopilot thanks to that Junker AI."
"so you're saying that the boy isn't within his Armor.." Vandel said as he looks back at the battlefield. "That would make things slightly easier."
"You think like that, and you'll be dead before you know it." Canard said while holding his helmet to his shoulder. "That guy is waiting for us. He's just waiting for the right time to come out when he is needed."
"The Kingdom's trump card…" Vandel spoke. "it would make perfect sense considering all his capabilities." He then looks at Canard. "get ready to sortie. Once I leave this ship and join the attack, you will leave to rescue Princess Hertrude."
"I know, don't tell me so many times." Canard said annoyed as he turns and begins walking away after grabbing Luxion's drone. The AI looking like it was ready to fire a laser at Vandel's monster arm but his master prevented it. "I know my job and I intend to complete it no matter what." he stops and looks at the old knight. "But remember. you chose this and you'll die in the end."
"for a knight who has lost his honor and everything, forfeiting my life for the kingdom I wish to protect is nothing more than a small sacrifice." Vandel said as he raise his monster arm that pulsate and soon parted open to unleash the Grand Slam sword that had been stored within it. the knight holding the weapon and lifting it up like it weight light as a feather. "to ensure that the Principality has a future, I will do whatever it takes to make it prosper."
Canard looks at Vandel for a moment before he clicked his tongue and turns to walk away.
"go ahead and die, old man." Canard said as he leaves the command post.
Vandel looks at the battlefield, the old knight watching the Five Gundams and the Archangel as he was looking straight at the legged ship.
meanwhile at the Holfort Castle. The sky of the capital became a battlefield as airships and Armors along with monsters were attacking one another.
In one of the many corridors of the palace, Julius is found running within as he is going somewhere.
"Jilk!" Julius shouted as he was going straight for Jilk who is wearing his pilot suit and looks to be preparing to leave for battle.
"Your Highness! You're safe!" Jilk replied as Julius came to him.
"What the hell the principality is thinking!?" Julius exclaimed as he and Jilk looks at the chaotic sky. "What is their reason attacking the capital at this point with a detached force?!"
"Perhaps that they are trying to take back Princess Hertrude and the magic flute." Jilk made a guess and then flinched when Julius hits the wall with his right hand while looking irritated.
"What is Bartfort doing!?" Julius exclaimed. "The enemy is here and!"
The two soon hears a loud explosion in the air as they look up and see the Buster flying by on its Guuru to intercept a group of monsters which were destroyed the Gundam's missiles.
"seems that he is already intercepting them as we speak." Jilk spoke as he sees the Buster now flying away. The green haired man then looks at Julius. "Your Highness, please withdraw."
"Don't be stupid. I'm going out too." Julius spoke as he looks ready to leave but was stopped when Mylene appeared with the escort of two knights.
"You're not allowed." Mylene spoke out as she came and stops near Julius.
"Mother?" Julius looks in surprise to see her, but he then looks serious after shaking his head once. "Mother, I will also sortie out. you should evacuate right away while i..."
"Julius, you don't have the strength to fight." Mylene cuts him off. "Also, your duty is to survive."
"Jilk is going to fight!" Julius exclaimed as he pointed a finger at Jilk and then swung a hand to the side while looking enraged. "Are you telling me to run away by myself!?"
"Yes, that's right." Mylene nodded. "The only thing you can do is to run away."
"I'm not asking you to give me an airship!" Julius exclaimed. "If you only give me an armor!"
"Julius, there is no one to prepare an armor for your sake." Mylene cuts him off once again.
"Then isn't it the same with Jilk!?" Julius said as he believed that Jilk shouldn't have any Armor for him to use.
"I requested my house to prepare an armor for me." Jilk explained with a hand to his chest. "Chris and the others are also the same." He then bowed his head. "Your highness, please leave the rest to us."
"Why? Why are you four betraying me!?" Julius spoke in shock. "We spoke about us cooperating with each other. Were those words a lie? We said that we will protect Marie together!"
"Julius, there is no more armor or airship in the palace." Mylene spoke out with a serious look at her son. "You don't have the strength to fight. You should obediently evacuate together with us here."
Julius looks at her mother in shock for a moment, he thought that he was powerless at the moment but a thought came to his mind.
"T-There is!" Julius exclaimed. "Bartfort has his mass produced airships and Armors! I could borrow one of them and!"
"Count Bartfort has dispatched all of his available military assets to the Kingdom's military forces." Mylene stated. "he has no more to spare."
"t-then the Duke's airship!" Julius exclaimed thinking that there was still a chance for him to be in the battlefield. "there should be some left! Just a single Armor for me to borrow! And I also heard that they are recruiting knights! If I head there immediately!"
"you will be refused by them." Mylene said before she keened her eyes. "do you not remember what you did to the Redgrave Household, Julius? The duke is not your backer anymore."
"b-but.." Julius tried to retort but Mylene just looks away from him and at Jilk.
"the enemy army is descending, Jilk." Mylene spoke. "Be quick if you're going to sortie. God speed"
"Yes! My queen, and then your highness" Jilk bows to Julius. "I'm off." He then leaves the area.
Julius looks very frustrated as he couldn't believe that he couldn't do anything at all.
"now, let us leave and…" Mylene was about to speak to her son about leaving the battlefield but Julius just ran off. "Julius!"
in another corridor, Angelica and Olivia were running as they are going straight for the Kingdom for shelter.
"hurry! Livia!" Angelica told her friend as she guided her to where they needed to go.
"w-wait! Angie!" Olivia cried out as she was doing her best to keep up.
The two keep on running before they screamed as they fell when a huge gust of wind blew into the corridor which was caused by an explosion that came from a Fanoss armor which got close to the castle but was destroyed by a Gladius Armor. The wreckage of the enemy robot fell and crashed into the garden area where it created a huge dust explosion.
Angelica and Olivia slowly picked themselves up as they see the wreckage of the destroyed Armor.
"is this…war?" Olivia asks, scared.
"it is." Angelica nodded, being calm minded at the sight of the destroyed Armor. She then looks at Olivia. "come on. We still need to go and.."
"Angelica!" Julius cried out as he was running to the two with heavy breathes.
"Your highness, what are you doing at this kind of place!?" Angelica exclaimed in shock. "Please escape quickly and…."
Before Angelica could finished her sentence, Julius suddenly bowed his head to her.
"Angelica, I have a request." Julius spoke and Angelica made a confused noise in return. The former crowned prince looks up to her. "I want to borrow the military asset you have. I wish to borrow the fleet of the duke."
"eh?" Angelica along with Olivia looks surprised to hear his request.
"I know that I'm asking too much, but please lend me your strength!" Julius pleaded with her.
Angelica took a minute or so to process what he had just requested, before she sighs and then close her eyes while shaking her head.
"I cannot comply to your request." Angelica stated. "those left of my household are merely my guards, not my subordinates. I cannot simply command them for they are under my father and brother's command."
Hearing her reply, frustration appeared in Julius's face.
"Then, it's fine even if it's just a single armor!" Julius pleaded with her again. "I don't want to be a coward!" he bowed his head to her. "please!"
"You must not." Angelica shakes her head in response. "Your highness, please evacuate together with us."
Hearing her reply, Julius lifted his face in respond to Angelica's words.
"Do you hate me for betraying your feeling?" he asks while looking completely shooked and angry. "That's why you won't lend me your strength right?"
"that is…" Angelica was about to reply but then realized how she has no anger after hearing Julius' words. 'I wonder why…I don't feel any sense of hatred, frustration, or anything whatsoever with him.' her eyes softens when Kira came into her mind. 'What am I thinking? Of course I don't…I no longer love the prince…the one I love now..' she then closes her eyes. "If I was still my past self, I would've hated and resented your highness with every fiber in my body, but now.." she slowly opened her eyes and showed a very happy smile. "I'm in love with Kira and only him. that's why I don't hold any resentment to you for I know that Kira would tell me to leave my past behind and move on."
Hearing Angelica's words and seeing her smile, Julius looked awestruck.
"Angie…" Julius whispers out her name, but knights of the Redgrave Household suddenly came running into the scene.
"Angelica-sama! you are here!" one of the knights exclaimed.
"We will head to the castle's shelter." Angelica spoke out to the knights before she looks at Julius. "Bring his highness together with us too."
"Yes!" the knights replied before they went to Julius and immediately pulled him away to safety.
As Angelica and Olivia watched Julius get taken away, the short haired blonde looks at her friend.
"Angie…are you alright?" Olivia asks a bit worried. "the Prince was…"
"Don't mind it. I'm alright." Angelica replied with a smile as she watches the prince leave before she close her eyes while tilting her head down. "after speaking my honest feelings. I felt a heavy burden being lift off my shoulders….." she opens her eyes and looks up. "It feels like I'm set free from many things."
"Angie…" Olivia sees the smile on her friend as she thought that Angelica really moved on from Julius and no longer has any love for him but to their one friend who both have a crush on.
As the two stayed in the corridor, they soon felt the ground rumbling as it surprised them.
"a-another explosion!?" Olivia cried out in surprise.
"No! this is!" Angelica looks to the sky and to her surprise, she sees that a part of the Holfort Castle is splitting open. "The castle is!?"
Angelica and Olivia watched as the castle split open and revealed a large metal door that made alarm ringing noise as it parts open. The metal door parted open as it extends out a metal launch base that allowed the Eternal to be moved out of the castle's underground hangar.
"The Royal Airship.." Angelica and Olivia see the Eternal which is now out of the hangar.
The pinkish red spaceship remains still for a moment before its catapult launch bay opened and extended out a path for a mobile suit to come out, but as this was happening, a group of three Fanoss airships and a swarm of monsters and armors were closing in.
"o-oh no!" Olivia gasps.
"It can't evade while still on the ground!" Angelica shouted.
"Attack that ship!" the captain on board one of the Fanoss airships gave out his command as his forces went on the attack.
As their attack was beginning, the Eternal's engines activated as the thrusters went on overdrive in ascending the ship into the air while also launching out a single mobile suit that flew out in mere seconds.
"Attack!" the Fanoss Armors readied their weapons and was about to fire when a whiteish red star flew in and swung out a pinkish white beam saber in a single slash and their weapons were cut into pieces. "wha?!"
"w-what happened?!" one Fanoss Armor looks at its destroyed rifle weapon before it turns and it came to face with the dark silhouette of a mobile suit whose eyes flashes yellow while holding a single beam saber in its grasp. "wha!?"
The mobile suit swung its beam saber multiple times and the Armor had its head and limbs cut off its body.
"what's going on!?" another Armor tried to defend itself but it was cut down to pieces by the single mobile suit that is zooming around and taking down their numbers.
The controlled Fanoss monster screeches as they were going to attack the unknown enemy but several precise green energy beam shots came and each one hit and killed them all.
"w-who is this guy!?" the Fanoss forces looks at their unknown foe as it is revealed to be the Freedom Gundam.
"that Armor is.." Angelica and Olivia see the Freedom as the Gundam had activated its PS Armor and then spread its wings to unleash a gust of thrusting air and red sparkles.
Kira who is piloting the Gundam from within its cockpit, sees the enemies that have gathered near the castle. The young man tensing his gaze as he held his control rods very tight.
"This must be another one of the Kingdom's soldiers!" the captain of a Fanoss airship shouted. "hurry and attack it before it.."
Whatever he said fell deaf to his subordinates as the Freedom's weapon targeting systems had activated and locked on to them all. the Gundam deployed its Balaena Plasma Beam cannon, and Xilphas Rail Gundam along with aiming its Lupus beam rifle before unleashing a Full Burst Mode attack on the Fanoss forces.
Rains of plasma beams came flying upon the Fanoss forces as the attack precisely destroyed the Armors on their limbs and head area while also killing the monsters in several shots.
"C-Captain! Our forces! They're all!" a subordinate shouted to the captain of the airship
"w-what is this…" the Captain jaw dropped as he can't believe a single robot could cause such devastation to his forces. "t-this is..i-impossible!"
The Captain was in shock as he didn't notice that the Freedom appeared hovering near their ship's post, the Gundam's eyes flashes yellow before it pulls back its left arm and then swung down its shield that crushed through the airship's mast and body.
One Fanoss airship falls before the others followed as the Freedom would either shoot their bottom hull with its Lupus Beam Rifle or thrust its beam saber and cut it down in half but while sparing its people.
Seeing how one mobile suit could do such a devastation to the Fanoss forces in mere minutes after its deployment, Angelica and Olivia could only look in awestruck as they couldn't believe how powerful the Freedom is.
"w-what in the world…" Angelica muttered out as she had no words to describe how incredibly powerful the Gundam is.
"that Armor…it's almost like…" Olivia watches the Freedom hover in the air as it slowly turns and showed its front appearance while its eyes flash yellow. "it's almost like…an angel."
The Gundam looks at where Angelica and Olivia are before it turns to look at the incoming Fanoss forces. The Freedom then spreads its wings and its thrusters ignited in full power before it flies straight for the enemy's invading forces.
Angelica and Olivia watches as the Freedom leaves the airspace before they hear a loud rumbling noise coming from the side, they turn and sees the Eternal taking off as the pinkish red spaceship is following the Gundam into battle.
"it's leaving…" Olivia said and Angelica nodded.
"with the battle already beginning, it was only a matter of time for the Royal Airship to join the battle." Angelica said before she looks determined and nodded. She turns to look at Olivia. "let's go, Livia. We still need to get to safety and.." she looks back to the sky as she sees how there is more explosions in the sky which is without a doubt the result of the Freedom and the Eternal joining the battle. "we need to do our best to help Kira."
"but how?" Olivia asks.
"I don't know how, but I think I know who to ask first." Angelica said before she held Olivia's hand. "come on, let's go."
The two then begin to hurry into the castle as they run into an entrance hall and heads off somewhere.
