In the midst of the Kingdom's advancing military forces, the Strike is seen flying in the sky as the Gundam heads straight for the Eternal.
While the mobile suit came entering the ship's opened catapult launcher, Lacus who was in a bridge; went and pressed a button that turns off the screen that showed the outside view.
"He has come." Lacus said after sighing before she turns and faces Angelica, and Olivia who were with her on the bridge. "it will take him at least 20 minutes or so to reach here from the hangar."
"Yes, thank you." Angelica replied while doing a quick head bow that Olivia copied a second later.
Lacus looks at the two for a moment before she looks to the front and a hologram screen appears showing Kira coming out of his Strike and using the cable to get down of the cockpit.
"Before he comes here, I would like to ask the both of you something." Lacus spoke while turning to look at the two blondes. "When did you come aboard the Eternal? And how?"
"We boarded this ship with the help of Mylene-san." Angelica said as the image of Mylene appeared in the back of her mind. "We directly requested her permission to allow us be on board the ship."
"And she permitted the two of you to be on board?" Lacus replied while raising an eyebrow.
"Mylene-san said that we could since she worries that you might need help." Olivia spoke out and Lacus slowly squinted her eyes.
"I see…" Lacus said before sighing with her eyes closed for a moment. The princess then looks at the two once again. "Once he arrives, what do you two plan to do?"
"Eh?" "What do we plan to do?" Angelica and Olivia responded.
"What do you plan to do once Kira comes and sees both of you here?" Lacus repeated her question while adding a few more sentences. "what do you plan to do by coming aboard here?"
"We…" Angelica spoke out while trailing off as she looks down for a moment before she faces Lacus with a determined look on her face. "We will ask him to let us be here for this coming battle."
"We want to help Kira-san!" Olivia added in. "We want to help him and put an end to this battle once and for all!"
"I see…" Lacus spoke with an understanding look at the two. "But how will you do so?"
"Eh?" Angelica and Olivia made a confused noise in unison while looking a bit confused to Lacus.
"How will you help Kira end the battle?" Lacus asks while waving a hand to the side. "I understand that Angelica-san has her father's forces, but they are only ordered to protect her." she looks at Angelica and then at Olivia. "I hear that Olivia-san is capable of using healing magic, but only that. How will the both of you give any effort to stop this war?"
"that's…" Angelica spoke out but pauses when she thought about the question more clearly and that made her frown. "that's.."
"W-We can help here! we can help Kira-san on the Royal Family Airship!" Olivia cried out. "I mean, this ship could use lots of people's help, right? Because there's no one here to help control it but the Princess and…"
"That is wrong." A female robotic voice spoke out as this surprised Angelica and Olivia. The voice continued while surprising the two. "even though there is only Princess Lacus and the two of you on board, this ship can function properly with my help." A floating metal orb appears out of nowhere as it looks similar to Luxion but its lense is blueish white instead of red. "hello~! My name is Creare and I'm the Eternal's AI assistant as stationed by Hachi-san and Master Kira Fou Bartfort/ Kira Yamato~!"
"C-Creare..-chan?" Olivia mumbled in confusion.
"is that thing?" Angelica spoke out and Lacus nodded.
"Alike with Hachi, Creare here is tasked with controlling and maintaining the Eternal's mobility and weapons without any needed personnel." Lacus said as the metallic drone hovers around while scanning Angelica and Olivia before coming around to hover near the princess' shoulder. "Hachi had programmed her to help repair the Eternal while he was assisting Kira during the previous battle. Therefore this leads to there being no need for any assistance on board the ship."
"T-Then we can be here to give support and.." Angelica spoke out, trying to give reason as to get the two to stay on board to help Kira.
"You shall only be a hindrance." Lacus spoke out very sternly. "Apologies for my rude tone, but both of you do not have the capability to help in functioning the Eternal's systems." She squinted her eyes. "Therefore, you have no place here."
Hearing her words made the two look rather frustrated and anxious as they really wanted to help Kira in any way possible.
"e-even if we don't have any skills to operate this ship and its weapons!" Angelica spoke out as she looks at Lacus with determination burning in her ruby eyes. "we want to help Kira! We want to help him!"
"yes! We want to help him no matter what!" Olivia cried out. "even if we can't be on board the Eternal, we can be on board the Archangel! Or any of Kira-san's Espadas! Or!"
"And would you be able to help him by being on board a ship that will come straight into the battle?" Lacus asks as she squinted her eyes. "tell me. will you be able to help him in a battle where he would need to always worry for your safeties?"
"eh?" Olivia made a confused noise.
"To explain Princess Lacus' statement, all the ships of the Kingdom plus the Archangel and the Eternal will be going straight to battle against the Fanoss Dukedom." Creare spoke out while projecting a 3D hologram simulation image of the entire Holfort forces that are making their way to meet the Fanoss Forces. "The enemies' number is 20% larger than that of the Holfort Kingdom. Therefore it would lead to a battle where Master would battle against the enemy forces relentlessly."
"With such a burden already being placed upon Kira on the battlefield, there is no doubt he must only focus on the battle at hand and not focused to protecting any of us." Lacus spoke out before she places a hand to her chest. "I support him in his upcoming battle and therefore wish for him to be safe by allowing him to not worry." She then waves the hand towards the two. "I have made my decision to let my life be extinguished for if I die in the battle, have you two made your peace with your life?"
"t-that's…" Angelica and Olivia thought about it for a moment, and they realized that Kira cannot fight properly if he has to worry for them who may come under harm. This thought made them remember the school field trip where Kira could only battle Canard when they were all brought away to safety.
Seeing both thinking about what to say to her words, Lacus could only close her eyes for a moment before she opens them and then turns her head to look at the bridge's main doorway which made a beep sound when the elevator's door slides open for Kira to make an appearance.
Kira enters the bridge and sees the girls in what he believes to be a conversation that had ended with his arrival.
"What's going on?" Kira asks as he comes to Lacus's side before he looks at Angelica and Olivia. "Why are both of you here, Angie? Livia?"
"We're.." Angelica tried to speak but the moment she remembered Lacus' words about their presence hindering Kira's ability for a full on fight, she paused and frowned. "we're…"
"You're what?" Kira asks as he raises an eyebrow.
"Master, if you would allow me?" Creare came to Kira's side, the young man being surprised by her sudden appearance. "ah, forgive me for the delay but I'm Creare. I was once the AI that served as the caretaker of the destroyed facility on the elven island, but I have now been reborn to function as the Eternal's AI assistant on orders by Hachi-san. Pleased to make your acquaintance."
"by Hachi?" Kira spoke before he placed a hand to his right ear as he hears a quick call from Hachi who said 'her personality program is a downside, but her level of data processing is very high and compatible with the Eternal's data. She can help control the Eternal and keep Miss Lacus safe on board.' Hearing this reply, the young man just nodded and looks at Creare. "very well. do your best, Creare."
"Yes~!" Creare said as the drone floats around Kira once before following the conversation. "and on another note. To give you an explanation of what has been occurring here…"
Creare gives Kira the brief explanation about what has been going on as she made a detailed conversation of what Lacus, Angelica, and Olivia have conversed before his arrival.
"I see…" Kira spoke with a nod after Creare finished explaining. He then looks at Angelica and Olivia who were looking back at him with slightly anxious expressions on their faces. "Angie…Livia…both of you…"
"We want to stay on board!" Olivia suddenly cried out as this surprised everyone.
"Livia?" Angelica looks at her friend in confusion and surprise.
"please let us stay!" Olivia cries in tears as she went and held Kira's arms. "please let us stay on board the ship, Kira-san! please!"
"h-hey, Livia…" Kira tried to stop her, but the girl continues.
"I know that we're not that helpful for the upcoming battle! I know that we can only do so little and that we can't help you! But please let us stay!" Livia cries out as she leans her head to Kira and started to cry on his chest. "Please! Please!"
"Livia. Just what are you saying?" Kira begins to look confused while gently holding her.
"Please! Please!" Olivia cried out while just breaking down in tears. "Please!"
"Hey! Livia!" Angelica went and held Olivia as she tried to stop her from having an emotional breakdown. "I understand your concern, but if you do this. Kira will just be confused!"
Lacus frowns a bit to see the two girls as she knew of their feelings for Kira, but to see that they have such determination to help him even though that they don't have much capabilities in conflict, she was certain that there was something that is needed to be done.
After a few minutes of talking from Angelica, Olivia calmed down a bit so that they could have a proper conversation.
"Kira, we understand that we have our own limits." Angelica spoke while holding Olivia by the shoulders, the ruby eyed blonde frowning a bit before she looks at Kira. "But even so! we still want to help you end this war!"
"Angie…" Kira mumbled out. "even so, I know that.." he pauses for a moment before he glances to the side and at Lacus who just smiles to him and then nodded her head to him which made him sigh. "I see…."
Rubbing a hand to his forehead for a moment before it slides down and rubs around his neck, Kira took a deep breath and then sighs before he faces Angelica and Olivia who were looking all anxious at him.
"I…" Kira spoke out as he stops and sighs again before he looks at the two. "I don't have any intention to stop either of you from participating in the war."
"Eh?" Angelica and Olivia made a surprised and confused noise while their eyes widened. "R-Really?"
"Really." Kira nodded with a small smile formed by his lips. "I could feel more relieved if I know that Lacus would be on the Eternal with people I know and I can trust." He nodded his head with a smile. "You won't be able to operate the weapons and such, but being here for mental support is just enough."
Angelica and Olivia looks at Kira for a moment before they smiled while looking at each other then giggles a bit in joy to know that they could be a part of the battle and possibly support the man that they love.
"Time is slowly running out." Kira said as he checks the time on his phone that he took out for a moment before he went and pocketed it away while turning to look at Lacus. "I'm going to get back to the Archangel and get prepared for battle now. Can you handle things from here, Lacus?"
"yes, I can." Lacus nodded with a smile. "be careful, Kira."
"yeah." Kira nods as he turns and was about to bid goodbyes with Angelica and Olivia but he got cut off when the two girls went and hugged him in an instant. "h-hey!"
"thank you, Kira." "thank you!" Angelica and Olivia spoke out in unison as they hugged Kira close before they look up and smiled to him. "Good luck." ".Be careful on the battlefield."
Kira looks at the two while blinking his eyes twice before he smiles and nodded his head.
"yeah, I know." Kira said as he patted their backs for a moment. "I'll be going."
Angelica and Olivia nodded before they leaned up and give Kira two kisses on each side of his cheeks which made the man blush and become surprised.
"that's our good luck charm for you." "remember that we're always there for you." Angelica and Olivia spoke in unison as Kira blushes in embarrassment before he pales a bit when he remembered that Lacus is with them.
Kira shakingly glance his eyes to the pink haired diva and sees her just smiling normally while not glowing in a pinkish red aura that had once frightened his very soul.
'I guess…she's not mad anymore?" Kira thought before he looks a bit awkward when remembering how Lacus literally marked him on his neck. 'I guess, she won't get angry after all of that, huh?'
"Eh? This is?" Olivia made a noise as Angelica sees her looking at Kira's neck and gently pulling a part of his shirt to reveal the hickey marks. "What is this?"
"eh? Ah! that's!" Kira looks panicked as he quickly covered his neck while backing away from the two girls. "just some bruises after the battle! No need to pay any attention to them!"
"That's no good!" Angelica said as she grabs Kira's arm and pulled him back. "if they're bruises like you said they are, have Livia heal them!"
"Yes!" Olivia said while readying herself to use her healing magic. "I'll heal them all, Kira-san!"
"N-No need!" Kira cried out as he pulls his arm back and takes a few steps back. "these bruises are small and not important! There is no need for any healing!"
"don't be a fool! Even the smallest of bruises can lead to danger in battle!" Angelica scolded Kira as she stops him from trying to leave the Bridge. She then went and grabs hold of the top part of his attire that she tried to strip off. "Have Livia heal them now!"
"like I said! There's no need!" Kira cried out as he grabs hold of Angelica's hands and pulls them away. "they're just small bruises and there is nothing else needed to be done for them!" he quickly looks at Creare. "get the Strike ready for Launch, Creare! I need to get back and make preparations on the Archangel!"
"yes~!" Creare replied while beeping a few times.
"Thanks!" Kira said before he quickly made a getaway to the bridge's main entrance. "be safe on board!" he presses a button and the door closes.
"He ran away.." Olivia said while Angelica sighs with a huff.
"always with his hurrying." Angelica muttered before she thought back to the red hickey marks on Kira's neck. "but wait a second, if i thought about it more logically. Those bruises aren't bruises, they're…"
"Angelica-san, Olivia-san. a minute please?" Lacus spoke out as Angelica and Olivia made a noise before they turned to face the princess. "there are many things that I would like to speak to the both of you, but for now, I shall only give the two of you a piece of advice."
"Eh?" "What is it?" they responded while looking confused to Lacus who smiles at them.
"Both of you must remember to know your place here." Lacus said before she turns and walks to the Bridge's main console. "Creare, make second preparations and a second analysis of the Eternals' default systems."
"Yes, at once." Creare replied.
While Lacus is with Creare, Angelica and Olivia were standing in their place and looking all confused.
"Know our place here?" "just what does that mean?" the two asked themselves before they look at one another and tilted their heads in confusion while blinking their eyes twice.
in the hallways of the Eternal, Kira is found making his way straight for the hangar after he got out of the hangar.
"That was too close…" Kira spoke after sighing, the young man walking pass the closed doorways. "I nearly got into trouble there."
Kira walks before he stops when he came near a familiar door.
"isn't this room?" Kira muttered out before he went and pressed the access panel that made the door slide open for him to enter. The young man comes into the room which is the very same room that he had once lived in during the times of the war back in his own world. "everything is the same as it is."
Kira walks around as he finds the room's furniture, accommodations, everything is left the same before he departed for the final battle at Jachin Due.
"not even a speck of dust, huh? Just like when I found the Archangel and.." Kira goes around and checks the items in the room before he stops when he came to the study table where he finds the photo frame of his biological mother; Via Hibiki who carries her twin infants in her arms. "this is…" he looks at the photo for a moment as he picked the frame up and looks at it more closer.
Kira stares at the photo as he thinks back to the moment he first found the photo at the abandoned Mendel Colony.
"Even if It was when me and Cagalli were little, I really wished I could've talked with you…" Kira said with a small sad smile as he gently placed the photo frame down on the table.
Afterwards, Kira leaves the room as he had only come to check the room out but after finding the photo of his biological mother; he now has a feeling of determination rising in his heart.
sometime later, in the hangar of the Eternal.
The Strike came walking straight for the Catapult Launcher where it gets ready to be launched out. Kira who is in the cockpit had worn his pilot suit back on as he pulls the front zipper up to his neck and then puts on his helmet.
As Kira was preparing to launch out his Gundam, he received a call signal. He checks the signal's origin and it's from the Eternal itself.
"This is Kira. Go ahead." Kira spoke as he presses a few buttons and then grabs hold of the mobile suit's control rods. "What's wrong, Lacus?"
"I think it was better if you came with your pilot suit on instead of your normal clothes, Kira." Lacus' voice is heard as Kira made a noise in return. "if they saw it, they would without a doubt interrogate you, right?"
"You say it like you're amused by it, Lacus." Kira said after he sighs with a smile. "These marks are from you, remember?"
"I remember." Lacus giggles, the pink haired diva having this private conversation with Kira on the bridge as Creare is helping out in isolating her voice and not allowing Angelica and Olivia to hear her voice at all. "It's my way of marking you as mine, right?"
"Yeah, I know." Kira sighs again. "and to think that today would be this tiring…" He then remembered something. "ah, speaking about tiring.."
"What is it?" Lacus asks.
"just before I came here…" Kira spoke out as he told Lacus about Julius and the other's abrupt arrival to the Archangel's hangar and demanding that they be allowed on board to help him in the battle, but he shook them off and kicked them out. he also added in on the fact that the former crowned prince was wearing an awfully ridiculous disguise when he arrived last. "and that was all there is it."
"I see…" Lacus spoke before sighing. "to think that he would be wearing Father's Disguise.."
"Father's disguise? What do you mean by that?" Kira asks with a confused look.
"it's nothing." Lacus replied after a quick giggle. "I'll explain it to you once this is all over."
Kira blinked his eyes twice before he nodded while saying. "alright."
'wonder what she meant by that?' Kira thought as he looks to the main screen on his cockpit which showed his Gundam getting the go signal to depart which it did after he moved a control rod forward.
Meanwhile in the Holfort Castle.
The King of the Holfort Kingdom, Roland Rapha Holfort is looking to be panicked in his room as he is searching for something.
"No, not here!" Rolan opens a chest and then slams it close before he goes to another one and opened it. "My transformation set isn't here! The key for my custom made armor is also not here!" he then scratches his head furiously. "Who?! who did this? was it Mylene? This is that middle-aged woman's work without a doubt!"
As Roland just searches his entire room for something, Mylene came walking in.
"Your majesty, have you seen Julius?" Mylene asks.
"What? why do you ask about him?" Roland said all annoyed. "I haven't even seen him and…" he searches for something in the room even more before looking back at the queen. "and besides! Have you seen some of my personal belongings here!?"
"personal belongings?" Mylene spoke out confused before she made a realization noise and then sighs while looking a bit deadpanned at the king. "if you're talking about that ridiculous disguise outfit of yours along with the key to your personal Armor, then I reply that I don't know."
"r-ridiculous disguise outfit?! How dare you?! Do you not know how awesome that outfit is!?" Roland exclaimed all angrily. "you know about it, don't you?! You know where it is, don't you!?"
"like I said, I do not know." Mylene said after shaking her head. "More importantly it's Julius. I cannot find him anywhere."
"just look for that fake saint of his!" Roland said. "he's still smitten for her, right?! He's probably with her!"
"I did look for her and she was in the Dungeon with the guards and no one else!" Mylene exclaimed before sighing. "just why did I bother coming to you for answers?"
"Just why did I bother asking you about where my Transformation outfit is!" Roland barked back before he goes searching around again. "if you're not going to help me find my stuff, then just go! I need to find my precious outfit while you go find Julius and.." he stops and pauses for a moment when he thought about something. "wait a minute." He turns to look back at the queen. "if you know about my transformation outfit….does that mean Julius and Lacus too?"
"They already know about those years ago." Mylene stated while waving a hand to the side. "they once saw you changed into that outfit of yours and just go off into the night like some sort of vigilante knight."
"TELL THAT TO ME FIRST!" Roland shouted with his face all red. "it's him! it's Julius! He must've stolen them!" he pulls his hair all mad like. "That Brat always gives me so much trouble! Why can't he be like my adorable, kind, smart, and genius Lacus-chan?!" he huffs angrily before he goes and runs out of the room in an instant. "I got to go and get them back!"
"w-wait a second! Your majesty!" Mylene cried out as she tried to stop him. "just why did you still keep those things even at your age!?"
"You don't know a thing!" Roland shouted while running off into the distance. "Those items of mine are all part of my Romance~!"
Back to the skies. The color of the air was slowly changing from light blue to orange and to black as it is almost nighttime.
The fleet of the Fanoss Dukedom are flying straight for Holfort's territory, the military force consists of the airships, monsters, and armors which were just flying in formation.
Upon the flagship, Hetrauda, and Hertrude faced the nobles of their kingdom who have gathered to be received their orders upon the upcoming Holfort Fleet that are coming their way.
"My People, it's time." Hetrauda spoke out as she faces the nobles of the principality. "albeit we have lost our advanced forces by the Kingdom, we have regained my sister in our ranks." She took a quick glance at Hertrude who did a head bow before she faced back to the group before her. "now, we can finally begin our plan to destroy the Kingdom."
"Yes!" "to hell with the Kingdom!" "destroy them!" "let them burn!" "it's time for us to destroy them and take our vengeance!" the principality nobles all let out their cries as they sounded incredibly furious, hateful, and angry to the point that they are ready to kill anyone who stood in their way.
Hetrauda faces the nobles for a moment before she glances to the side and sees a maid coming to her side while holding up the two magic flutes on top of a pillow.
"Rauda." Hertrude came near her sister. "not the other flute, use mine. it's far safer and…"
"I know, Onee-sama." Hetrauda replied as she reaches and picks up the magic flute that her sister once used during the first invasion. "but when it comes as a last resort.."
"I know, but that is something I do not wish to come." Hetrude said with a frown. "the second flute is more dangerous and.."
"if you're thinking of using it, I'll knock both of you out." Canard's voice is heard as everyone turns to see the Hyperion Pilot making an appearance. The Coordinator wearing his pilot suit and holding his helmet under his right arm. "You guys talk to each other like you're going to die and that's a damn problem for me."
"shut up!" "you're an outsider! Leave this place at once!" "how rude!" "just why did our nation hire you in the first place?!" the nobles all made their comments at Canard who just stuck out his middle finger at them and looks all mockingly while making his way to the two princesses.
"you two are doing this whole war preparation speech and all, so I don't give a damn fuck about it at all." Canard said as he looks at Hertrude and then at Hetrauda who he proceeds to give a quick flick to the forehead that made her yelp. "but if you plan to die, then die when the war is over."
"b-but even if we fight against the group, there's a chance that.." Hetrauda spoke out before getting another flick to the forehead by Canard which made her cover her forehead. "ow! Stop that!"
"I'll stop when you learn that you got to have hope on yourself and bet it all on me." Canard said while pointing at himself with his right hand's thumb. "if you think that you can do whatever you want with those flute of yours while I'm still alive and kicking, you got another thing coming, short stack." He then looks at Hertrude. "You're the smart one between the two of you, so do your best to reason with your sister here and don't let her do anything stupid. Got it?"
"even if you tell me." Hertrude tried to retort but when she sees Canard holding up his right hand which was ready for another finger flick, she changed her mind while quickly covering her forehead. "I got it! so don't flick me too!"
"good." Canard said as he then turns and faces the Principality's nobles. "you lot better listen to my orders because I'm going to be the one leading the forces and I'll be the one to handle that guy when the push come to shove."
"That guy?" "is he talking about the Armed Knight?" "but isn't he supposed to be in the Dungeon of the Kingdom?" "fool! He was released! Why do you think that our Black Knight got defeated during the invasion?!" the nobles chattered amongst one another.
Canard looks at them just bickering before he glance to the side when Luxion appears hovering near his shoulder.
"Master, the Kingdom's fleet is coming. ETA 40 minutes and counting." Luxion spoke and Canard nodded while putting on his helmet.
"Your hated enemies are coming. Prepare your asses for the fight of your life." Canard commanded before he turned and then smirks a bit while walking away with Luxion following him. "Get ready to be killed by me, Yamato."
As Canard left, the Principality nobles bickered with one another as they just made bad comments about how smug the Hyperion's Pilot is and how they hated his guts even though he is the major reason as to how they were able to make such an advancement to the Kingdom's air territory.
Hertrude and Hetrauda hears their comment before they look at the hallway where Canard and Luxion disappeared into and then looks at one another.
"Should we listen to his words, Onee-sama?" Hetrauda asks while holding up the magic flute. "I mean, this is our trump card to end the Kingdom and…"
"I know, Rauda." Hertrude said with a nod before frowning a bit. "but you must understand that he is right. The dangers that come with using the second magic flute is just too much and…" she frowns even more when she saw a flashed image of bloody dead body appears in her mind. "if you aren't careful, I could lose you and I don't want that."
"Onee-sama.." Hetrauda looks at her sister for a moment and was about to speak when a soldier came running in.
"Your Highnesses! The Kingdom's forces are on sight!" the soldier exclaimed. "They are coming from the north and we've spotted nearly 600 in their numbers!"
"so they're here!" "600 is nothing compared to our 1500!" "it's time for them to die!" the nobles all exclaimed as they readied themselves for a fight.
"so the time has quickly come." Hetrauda said as she looks at the soldier before to the nobles. "Children of the Principality! The time has come!" she swung her right hand forward. "Prepare for battle!"
"yes, Hetrauda-sama!" they all responded before they begin to disperse to get ready to command their forces for the battle.
As the group disperses, Hertrauda looks at her sister while looking curious about something.
"Onee-sama, just why is Canard so obsessed on fighting the Armed Knight?" Hetrauda asks while having the image of Kira and the Freedom appearing in the back of her mind. "I would understand that he has a grudge against that knight, but why so obsessive against a foe that he once lost to?"
"I don't know the full details, but.." Hertrude spoke while looking up as she remembers the prediction the elven elder gave to Canard and Kira. "all I know is that those two…are fated to battle once more."
Hetrauda looks at her sister in confusion for a moment before she turns and looks to the front as she looks through the protective glass and sees the Hyperion flying in front of the flagship while getting joined by the Ortygia that came flying over.
On the side of the Kingdom's forces, the Archangel leads at front as it was followed by the Espada Airships and the Holfort Airships which made a formation that surrounds the Eternal that flies in the middle.
The Kingdom's Fleet heading straight for a direct confrontation against the Principality forces in a battle to end the war.
On top of the Archangel's front body, the Freedom along with the Strike, Duel, Blitz, Aegis, and Buster were standing in a v shaped position as Kira is currently on board and just waiting for the time that the fleet comes closer to the enemies' and the conflict to start.
"Hachi, how are things with all the Gundams' autopilot systems?" Kira asks as he is in the middle of checking his Freedom's systems which had been rechecked after the Gundam's repairs were done. "are they all interlocked and prepared?"
"Yes." Hachi replied as the AI is doing a system check on all five G-Project Gundams' battle systems. "Strike, Duel, Blitz, Buster, and Aegis' are prepared for battle."
"and what about Creare's control on the Eternal with Lacus and the others?" Kira asks as he presses a button on the side and then flicks a few switches. "since she was an AI tasked with only protecting, will she be able to use the Eternal's weapons?"
"I have upgraded her core data and download the basic schematics of the Eternal's weapons." Hachi replied while showing a stream of data in one screen near him. "also, I've shared information about basic war strategy to her data and make her strictly follow with Miss Lacus' commands."
"good." Kira nodded before he looks at another screen showing an enhanced and zoomed image of the Fanoss fleet that is nearly a few thousands kms away. "then we are all prepared, aren't we?"
"Yes." Hachi said with a few beeps. "the Gundams, the Archangel, the Eternal, the Espada airships along with the Kingdom's airships are ready for battle." The AI then made an appearance with its drone that came floating near the Freedom's cockpit area while carrying a paper bag tied with a ribbon. "by the way, Kira. I have a delivery for you by Miss Lacus.
"For me?" Kira asks before he presses a button that made his cockpit hatch open and move up for him to come and see the drone that handed him the paper bag and then leaves. The young man checks the item before he presses a button, and the cockpit returns inside the mobile suit while closing up the hatch. "what's this?" he opens the bag and inside is Lacus' ring. "Lacus' ring?"
Kira picks out the ring and then looks inside to pick out a note that he reads.
"To make another promise from me to you, I give you this ring and wish for you to return it when the war is over. Lacus." Kira reads the note and then smiles as he could tell that this was something Lacus would do. "I got it, Lacus." He takes the ring and then pulls down the zipper of his suit to take out his necklace which he uses to attach the piece of jewelry on it. "I promise."
Kira kisses the ring and then grasped it close to his chest as he did a quick silent prayer to his beloved princess.
"I'll be going now, Lacus." Kira whispers before he puts the necklace in his shirt, zipped up his suit, and then picks up his helmet that he puts on his head. "be safe on the Eternal with the others." he grabs hold of the control rods as the Freedom's eyes flashes yellow and the Gundam's thrusters ignited before it flies off.
The Strike, Aegis, Blitz, Duel, and Buster all did the same as their eyes flashes and their thrusters ignited before they all flies after the Freedom, but they stayed airborne by riding on Guurus that had launched out previously.
