Bubble baths are a great thing to come home to when you have a stressful day, when nothing seems or feels right. A warm bathe that soothe the body and relaxes the mind, it always helps when the surrounding was set nicely too. Scented candles, a bath bomb, soft music and wine, it all played a big part in having the perfect bath.

This is exactly what Sakura needed when she got home from a long day at work, everything was going wrong the moment she left her home. It only got harder during the day too, she even almost lost a life during an emergency and got yelled at her boss, the only doctor who was higher than her at the hospital. Car trouble, walking in a puddle, you name the small thing that can really ruin your day, it happened to her.

So when she found her boyfriend at the door taking her bag from her she was surprised and grateful for the affection he was showering her with. Kisses on her face and shoulders, he took her jacket off and led her straight to the perfect bathe.

"What's going on babe?" She smiled at him while wrapping her hands around his shoulder to kiss his neck. He gave her a small, soft smile and shrugged but she wasn't going to leave this as it was. "Oh did Ino call or something, usually when you have a break you just sleep or chill on the couch." She kept him her hands wrapped around his neck even after he tried to pull away from her. "Come on tell me what's up."

"I just felt like it's been a while since I did something like this for you, I don't know. Why would Ino call me." Since she wasn't letting him go he settled to resting his arms around her waist. He relaxed into her hand as she ran it through his hair, the glow on her face told him he did the right thing. She lovingly ran her thumb on the back of his neck before reaching on her tip toes to kiss him. Being much taller than her he leaned in to kiss her back, this moment made both of them.

"Well I had the shittiest day of all shit days, I thought maybe Ino gave you the heads up." Sasuke frowned a little at this, he knows she didn't mean it that way but he couldn't help but feel the way he was. He couldn't completely blame her if she felt that way too, although he knew she didn't, Sakura noticed this, she gave him a question look and he sighed.

"I'm sorry I don't do these things as often, I'm glad I did it today, I can try to do it more often too, I just." Sakura cut him off with a finger on his lip, her smile made him feel a bit better, she knew him and he was pleased that she was understanding and loved him anyways. "Babe no don't do that ok, lets just get in before the water gets to cold." She pulled away with a smile still on her face, she began undressing. Sasuke followed as suit, even now he took shy looks at her like he hadn't seen her naked before, he never let her see this though, the moment she looked at him his blank expression was back on.

"Get in will ya, the candles will burn out ya'know." She teased as she slipped in the pink, bubbles filled water. "It's still so warm." She sighed and stretched out winking at him. Sasuke took his time gathering to glasses that he had set next to the tub, he pure Sakura's favourite wine into them and got in even slower. He saw the way she was checking him out, her eyes lingering on certain parts of his body.

"Like what you saw." Sasuke flirted back at her as she took a glass of wine from him. She grin even wider when she felt his leg brush against hers. "Heck yeah babe." She winked again. This was it, the moment to turn a horrible day around, the perfect bathe with her perfect boyfriend.

That night she enjoyed getting physical with him, the way he took his time with her, he paid attention to her and her needs. He was gentle as if it was their first time all over again. The sweet but heated words he spoke to her, the soft touches, the way he held her after. It was all beautiful that she kept it all in her heart.

But her favourite thing that would make her forget the awful day she had was the hours spent in the bathroom. The kisses shared, the way he held her and talked to her. It felt to good to be true, like a scene from a movie, or a chapter of the best romance book. They talk about nothing and everything. Bubble baths was the best thing after a long day and even better with someone that loved you and who you loved.
