A/N: Here is some late-night writing, inspired by my friend's weird dream she keeps having lol. Enjoy.

Music bleared loudly covering any other sound to be made, you can feel every beat throughout your body and under your feet. The crowd was wild and the lights wilder as it blinks rapidly along to the beat and the heated body's dancing amongst each other. It was contagious like a virus, no one could just stand still, if you were your feet will be tapping or your head bobbing.

Every corner was taken with horny people, and not everyone was a couple in here, some just coupled up for the night, drunk and fun was what they were looking for. This wasn't Sasuke's vibes, he never really enjoyed places like this anymore, when he was younger, it was ok. So he was grateful when Naruto handed him a beer and clapped his back with a grin on his face, the alcohol will help him lighten up. Of course, it was the blonde's idea to come out and have a good time. He used the excuse of the successful week they had in their business.

He wasn't proud of what he did, but he did it because it was something he couldn't get out of, a family business he regretted dragging his best friends into though. But it's not like he had a choice, Naruto was a ride or die kinds guy, the one that always showed when you had no one else, the one that stuck with him in the shittiest of situations. The one you could call to help hide a body. That is another reason he allowed the guy to drag him to places like this.

"I'm out." Sai practically screamed to them as he left to go chat down a group of girls, some of his other friends that came with them did the same. That's when he saw her and as cheesy as it sounds it all fell like a movie scene because she saw him too. It felt like everything slowed down as he watched her dance, her hair bounced as her hips swayed to the music. Her friends, or so he assumed, surrounded her moving along to the music. But his eyes were locked on her, she was laughing and singing along to the song, her hands reaching to the sky as she shouted her favorite parts.

Her eyes met his a few times but he never looked away, with his hands in his pocket he kept staring, she was going to be his. He saw some of his friends move in on the other girls and he shook his head with a smirk. He never ever made the first move, he had them coming to him, but here he was walking towards her. Sasuke watched as her smile turned to a mischievous grin as she turned her back to him but in a welcoming way. He came right up behind her putting his hands on her hips and grinding on her, she laughed and danced back on him.

Sasuke leaned over to her ear and asked her name, so she turned to face him, her hands on his hips now grinding her front to his sexily. Reaching up she pulled him down so she could reach his ear. Sasuke could smell her perfume, one he couldn't pinpoint other than a sweet scent he wanted to smell more. "Let me see what kind of dancer you are first and maybe I will tell you." She laughed again, winking at him before turning back around to shake her ass on him once again.

Sasuke knew for sure now, she was going to be his.

It wasn't like him to take a girl home and not have her, never had he taken care of them personally like he did that night. She was drunk and all over him and he couldn't find it in himself to have her like that. Not even his so-called girlfriends had those privileges, heck none of them came home with him. He owned many different resorts and had other houses he stayed in. Only close people like Naruto knew of this place, people he knew he could trust with his life. Yet this girl he had spent the night dancing and talking to was on his bed sleeping.

The next morning he had his driver drop her home but not before asking her out.

What Sasuke wanted, Sasuke got. But she was a tricky one. "Sakura." He whispered her name as she sneaked up on him and wrapped her arms around him. "I told you don't sneak up on me like that." He grunts out when she doesn't take him seriously, she never doses, she doesn't know. He would tell her eventually, but he had to know she wanted him as he wanted her. Sasuke was absolutely smitten by her.

"Why, you gonna shoot me by mistake or something hmm?" She giggles taking his hand in hers and pulling him along with her into the restaurant they were going to have dinner at. He wanted to have his driver pick her up but she stubbornly rejected and insisted she drive herself. She was stubborn about a lot of things. She didn't even know who she was bossing around and getting away with it, only she could. "Maybe, if I thought it was someone else." He joked back with her but there was truth behind it, he always had to watch him back, even if he had people watching it for him.

"Sure my little gangster, come on I am starving." Her smile is so sweet, he wanted to always see it, he never wanted to see her upset.

"Sasuke, where the fuck are you going, you cannot just fucking leave me like this!" Sakura screamed, she pushed herself between him and the bed he had a duffle bag open on her bed. He hated having to do this to her. She still didn't know though, about the life he lived, he always made her feel wanted, special spoiled her but he never wanted her to see the monster he really was. He was as truthful as he could be with her but he hid that big part of his life from her, mostly to protect her. He wanted her to have a normal life, where she didn't have to worry about him or her own safety. But it was also fear, he was afraid she left him, in the short periods of time he had fallen for the girl with teary eyes in front of him. He was selfish, he didn't want to lose her.

He had tried, when she got suspicious, or to close to danger without even knowing it, he tried to distance himself from her. He even tried to break up with her, but they always found their way back together.

"I said I will be back, I just have some business I have to deal with." She had no idea he had his right-hand guys patrolling her apartment building, her workplace, or practically anywhere she went that he couldn't be. It wasn't long word got out on the street, he had something he will kill for, something precious to him. Her, it was the only way they could be together.

"Sasuke! You can't just say that I don't even fucking know what you do!? For fuck sake!" Sasuke lightly pushed her out of his way and zipped his bag up, he had to deal with some asshole that was targeting her. He'd kill the son of a bitch before he could land a finger on his girl. He had his best men watching out for her while he was gone, no one was going to touch her. He couldn't just send them to deal with this, he had to put a message out there, no one messes with Sasuke Uchihas girl, he'd take it personally.

"Trust me. I will explain everything when I get back, answer all your questions, but you have to promise me you will trust me." Sakura became quiet and he knew he had her at that, he wasn't the only one crazy about the other in this relationship.

It had been a month, the longest he had gone without seeing her beautiful face, but he would respect her wishes. He came back to her after a week of silences, he had taken care of business and dreaded their meeting. He knew he would have to explain to her about everything now like he said she was stubborn. He did as he promised and answered her questions, he confessed to her and told her everything, saving her the gruesome details.

She asked for some time and space to think things over, he allowed it, but it hurt like hell when she never called, text or came to see him. It felt like she left him. He didn't want to be in business anymore, he just wanted to leave with her but he couldn't. His father, the biggest crime lord in their country wouldn't approve, nor will his brother the leader of the most dangerous gang in Japan. Compare to them he was a small fish, and still, he was a big deal. He didn't blame her for wanting to leave, it hurt not having her around but it hurt more thinking she was afraid of him.

It was obvious she didn't want to be with him anymore, but she was too scared to say it, was she afraid he'd hurt her for wanting to leave? He decided to visit her, to say goodbye, a month was a long time, so she couldn't be mad at him for showing up.

"Sasuke…." She trailed off, she wasn't even looking him in the eyes, he frowned, he didn't like how she was acting around him. "I need more time…"

"It's ok-" He had cut her off, he just wanted to set things straight and leave, it was hard enough seeing her after so long and not being able to touch her, hold her like he used to. "I just want you to know, you don't need to be afraid of me, I will never hurt you, I will not force you to stay if that is not what you want. Don't feel trapped." He watched as tears rolled down his eyes, he wasn't sure if it was relief written on her face.

"Sasuke I never thought you will hurt me, I never felt trapped either. I just…" She bit her lips and frown, she was thinking about the right words to say to him.

"You can always ask for anything, if you need help with anything, I am always here for you, I love you Sakura, more than anything and to me you are everything. So please don't be afraid of me, I am always here for you but I will leave you alone if it is what you wish." Sasuke was digging into his palm and clenching his teeth to not cry, he wasn't going to show weakness as his father calls it.

"I do mean it when I say I need time and space Sasuke. I do love you too but, I don't know yet if I can be with you, in this lifestyle, I don't want to have to worry about you coming back to me alive or in a body bag, I can't…" She had cut herself of crying, sobbing loudly Sakura let it all out, Sasuke moved slowly towards her and took her into his arms to comfort her. He felt relief when she allowed him, burying her face into his chest and letting it all out.

He knew she properly wasn't coming back, they kept in contact with the usual small talk, he would try to visit her but it was briefly. Then he heard she moved, she was living further away from him, but then she left the country for god knows how long. All she said was she needed a break, he never pushed too hard though, he didn't want to ruin the little relationship he had with her.

It was New Year's Eve, he left early from the party his friend Kiba held, and after the countdown he avoided everyone. He only told Naruto he was leaving and went straight home, he was with her for two years, he was without her for five months. He missed her, he wanted to see her, he even allowed his friend Jugo to try finding a new girl to keep him occupied but, no one could ever compare to her.

"Sasuke?" He could hear her voice calling him from his bedroom, he saw her sitting at the edge looking at him with big green, doe eyes. How drunk was he? "Sasuke, Happy New Year." She stood and he was starting to think someone drugged him. There was no way she was really here.

"Sakura is that really you?" She laughed and he missed that sound so much, he wasn't sure if it was ok but he couldn't stop himself. He swiftly moved towards her, wrapping her in his arms he picked her up and kissed her, when she kissed him back he sighted feeling relaxed. "I…we need to talk if I am going to stay." Stay was all he needed to hear to throw her onto his bed and move to hover over her. "Stay?" He kissed her neck, her jaw, her chest, he missed her so much.

"Yes, I have made up my mind, I can't live without you and I don't care what you do I will always love you and be here for you, but you have to promise you will always come home to me Sasuke, you can't…." She never gets to finish as he kissed her lips and finally the tears came down, he wasn't crying like she was he was tearing up not caring anymore.

Sakura held his face in her hands and wiped his tears with her thumb. "I am never leaving you again Sasuke, I love you so much."

"I love you too, promise me, Sakura, promise me." He kisses her again his hands traveling over her body that he missed so much, he just wanted to be close to her again.

"I promise my love."
