Disclaimer: Naruto don't belong to me
A/N: Back with another Sasuke pov lol. Enjoy!
She was quite the character, a badass as Naruto called her, she was the opposite of her best friend, who was the captain of the cheer team. The most popular girl with long blonde hair and blue eyes, a fit body that was greatly desired by both sex for different reasons. A breath of fresh air when she entered a room with her dazzling smile. The girl everyone wanted or wanted to be. The girl they expected him to fall for.
But he didn't, the only reason he looked Ino's way was because right next to her was Sakura. She was popular in some ways, with short pink hair and dull green eyes, her body always covered up so no one knew exactly what she looked like. He heard Ino beg Sakura to show off her 'banging' body so he guessed it was a head-turner. And when Sakura entered a room some people got tense, she was well known for her violent side.
She was the type of girl that got in fights and some of them were with guys. She wore dark baggie clothes most times and dark makeup some days. She had a lot of ear piercings and he heard Ino talk about her belly piercing. She use to have long hair in their freshman years but at the beginning of sophomore, she showed up with choppy short hair and never went back.
He remembered seeing her running around with Naruto and Kiba from time to time. She was up to no good with the two, smoking pot at the back of the school or drinking alcohol. She'd showed up to a class one time high and almost got suspended. Naruto raved about how cool she was, she'd always gotten Sasuke's attention. Especially that time in junior year when she had had the balls to stand up to the principal about the different rules they had for girls and boys. She'd showed up with ripped on her jeans, barely any skin showing, they warned her about it.
She started a whole thing where the girls pretty much protest and dressed like they wanted to. They ended up complying to change the rules because they couldn't suspend the entire female body of students. Even Hinata stood by Sakura's side that time and Sasuke couldn't be more impressed with the pink hair rebel.
To his luck Sakura was around more often now, Ino started dating one of his friends recently. While it was annoying to have Ino and Sai around being all P.D.A in front of everyone. He tolerated it because of her and her smart mouth. She always had something to say to him, calling him pretty boy while messing with his hair.
She thought he was a brainless idiot because he was captain of both the soccer and baseball team. He was popular among the girls and feared by the guys, he was a black belt after all. She had judged him and he usually hated people for that but he couldn't hate her. He was quick to put her in line though showing her that he could challenge her intelligence and that struck a nerve. She was one of the top students of school despite her rebellious behavior.
He teased her back and messed with her hair, Sasuke wasn't the type to flirt and the first time he did it Naruto almost died. No really, he choked on his soda to the point he almost turned blue. Everyone stopped and stared at him like he grew another arm. But he didn't care, he like seeing her fumble over his words. But with time at least everyone left him alone when he did it, they had grown used to it, but Sakura always fussed.
She dislikes him and he thought it was funny how much he riled her up. The moment she'd spot him she'd roll her eyes and glare at times. He'd go straight to her sitting as close as possible just to hear her scoff at him shoving him away as he leaned on her. But she never moved, they'd bicker, throwing insults or mostly her at him. But he loved when they'd talk about others, not in a gossiping way, more like complaints. Like complaining about Ino and Sai clearly not caring about others while they sucked each other faces.
"Guy was hard on us today, my legs feel like it'll drop off soon!" Naruto whines to the group of usual friends that gather up to spend lunch break together. He was laying on Hinata's legs eating his sandwich as the girl strokes his hair lovingly. "Or you're unfit, with all the Ramen you eat." Sakura laughs at his expression as he bared his teeth at her making a foolish expression.
"He's been eating a lot of Hinata's bento lately too," Sasuke added making Hinata go red at the mention of her name. Sakura laughed a little louder as Naruto grumbled back at his best friend. Sasuke relished in the way Sakura slightly bumped into him as she laughed, their shoulders and legs brushing against each other. He liked her, even though he made what they had a game of some sort he meant a lot of it, he did really like her.
"Keep it up you might get benched next game." Sakura gibe at him even more making him pout into Hinata's stomach causing the girl to get redder. Sasuke stole glances at the girl next to him as she was settling from her laughing fit. He hadn't realized Ino looking at them mischievously.
"You two are so mean, you're perfect for each other, a perfect duo, or couple sounds better." Ino snickered suggestively at the two as Sakura glared at her, she gagged when Sasuke moves closer dropping an arm around her that she instantly pushed of making him chuckle.
He wiggles his brows at her as she looked up at him when he dropped his arm around her waist pulling her closer. He smirked when she looked at him with disgust, but he saw a slight blush on her face.
"Suck it!" Sakura jumped off the table they were on and stomped of shoving some poor guy who was in her way. Sasuke got up to follow her, she didn't seem to notice him right away and he heard her cursing Ino and him off. He smirked, why did he get under her skin so badly. He knew why, that made him smile more to himself, it had to be.
As he got closer to her she groaned loudly trying to walk ahead of him but it wasn't hard keeping up with her with his long legs and all. "Fuck off dude, you're so annoying." She muttered as people cleared the way for her knowing better than to stand in an angry Sakura's way. Only a few people bugged an angry Sakura and Sasuke was one of them.
"Why are you so mad at the thought of us?" Sasuke question as they made it through the door to the rooftop. Luckily no one was there and if there were anyone around Sakura would chase them away. "Because I hate your guts and there will never be an us." She waved her hands between the two of them, they both now stood near the railings.
The wind up there was strong and Sasuke stared as her hair blew back showing her face fully. She had such soft doll-like features, Sakura was gorgeous, her vibrant eyes were overshadowed by the heavy eyeliner she wore. Her button nose that scrunched up and naturally pink lips that were almost always in a scold was pretty, even more so than Ino.
"You don't hate me."
"I do very much so."
"Then who do you like?"
"No one right now."
"Who is your type?"
"None of your business."
Sasuke rolled his eyes at her but pushed on, he was going to get it out of her. "Who is your type?"
"Gaara."
"Gaara?!" Sasuke said in surprise, he glared at the school gates as if he could make it collapse with his mind, of all people she had to say his name. They were friends but he and Gaara didn't see eye to eye. They use to get in a lot of fights before and often disagree but now they settled on agreeing to disagree and move on thanks to Naruto. Thanks to Naruto Sasuke became friends with many people he never thought he would.
"Yes, he doesn't give a shit like I do, he's cute, edgy, we both like a lot of the same things and dislike the same things." She leaned on the railing a smirk on her face as Sasuke kept quiet. He glared at her, he knew she was lying to get under his skin. He hates that it was working. Sasuke was usually a composed person, around everyone else he was. But with her, composure flew out the window.
"You don't like him." He turned her towards him stepping closer he never saw Sakura look like that before. Her cheeks slightly flushed her eyes a bit wide as he was almost pressed upon her, she was flustered. "I never said I liked him." She stepped back but he stepped in front of her now caging her between him and the railings now.
"He's not your type." She looked down at their feet, their shoes touching tips, he expected her to rebel, shove him away and cuss him out but she stood quiet. He carefully raised her chin so their eyes would meet, his hand lingering under her face. "I'm probably not really your type and that is why you act like you can't stand me, but you know you like me." She twisted her lips at him and pushed his hand away.
Sasuke sighed, she tried to move but he stood his ground, he was going to get it out of her today. He felt like he had to, or they'd just keep going on the way they did. As much as he like the little bond they had he wanted more. He had always wanted more but Sakura was too stubborn.
"Sakura, stop, just admit you like me, if you really don't like me, I'd stop harassing you. I'd leave you alone like you always wanted. But if you like me, you already know I like you..." Sasuke froze, his heart dropped when she ducked under his arm and she stepped to the side. He didn't look at her as she walked away, instead he stuffed his hands in his pocket and stared ahead of him.
Suddenly he felt arms on him, spinning him and he was now pinned to the railings, he looked at the shorter girl in front of him with slightly widened eyes. She glared up at him, a small scold on her face as she stepped closer completely pressing her body onto his.
"You stupid idiot." She growled at him when he chuckled at her, he felt relief wash over him as she stared up at him. Reaching out she grabbed his shirt collar and pulled him down to her, Sasuke felt delighted when she kissed him. Relaxing his body he slipped his hands around her waist, she kept a hand on his collar the other going to the back of his head.
"You are my type stupid, I've always kind of liked you're stupid face." Her eyes never met his as she said this, looking this way and that, Sasuke chuckled, he'd never seen Sakura this red.
"So does that mean you like me and there is an us now." Sasuke laughed lightly when she scoffs at him turning her face away from him sharply trying to hide her embarrassed expression.
They were still the same, somewhat so, he still teased her and she still pushed him away, sometimes. But behind closed doors, she was the one pulling him closer most times. And Sasuke never loved anything more.
That's all for now, please leave a review, I would really really appreciate that. Fav and follow for more!
