Disclaimer: Naruto don't belong to me
A/N: I just started writing and here we are, hope you enjoy!
A sigh left her lips for what felt like the hundredth time that day the frown on her face deepened. Staring out at the dark clouds that hung in the darer sky, rain poured heavily and lighting flashing now and again, the gloomy weather was affecting her mood greatly. Usually, she would enjoy such weather, putting on something cozy with a hot cup of chocolate she'd even play soft music and daydream or take a nice nap just enjoying the soothing mood. But after having rainy weather for the fourth time that week back to back she grew tired of it.
Especially being locked up alone in a big house, she felt somewhat trapped.
She had to cancel her plans with Ino, they both were looking forward to their brunch and gossip date and both seemed very disappointed having to set it back. She wished she could at least go outside into her backyard and paint something, she felt like her hand flowed better out there under the bright, warm sky. There was only so much you could do indoors, only so much that your mind would be content on doing. She'd already finished the drama she was watching and had no interest in starting another right now. She couldn't watch another lifetime movie or even sit in front of the TV any longer. Working from home sometimes got boring and she'd already finished replying to her emails, she had nothing much to do.
Sighing again Sakura decided to move away from the kitchen window as she finished her hot drink, it was dampening her mood, even more, the longer she stood there staring. She was reminded that she could be out and about with her best friends eating something delicious chatting about everything that happened during the course of the past two weeks since they had met up. Of course, they could call each other but they needed some face-to-face time and she was sure Ino was busy, so were her other friends. She glanced down at her phone hoping he'd reply but he didn't, she knew he would be busy.
It was times like this she wished Sasuke was home, more so than ever she craved his presence. She'd find herself missing him more and more when he left for work, she could never get enough of him. Moving over to his work area Sakura slid down his office chair and spun once, she grabbed his blue jacket from the backrest and draped it over the front of herself taking in his sent. This made her miss him even more, missing how he'd be cuddled up with her on the couch right now if he was home, or they'd be in their room listing music and chatting, it didn't matter what they'd do but he'd make her time much better. Pulling herself closer to the desk she glanced at the picture of the two of them that sat next to the blank computer screen.
She was grinning at the camera with her two hands near her face making a peace sign, Sasuke was leaning on her his hands wrapped around her stomach with his head on top of hers. She smiled at the small smile on his face, his eyes closed, she couldn't take her eyes off his handsome face, a blush on her face as she thought about handsome he is. After they took that picture she was surprised to find it framed on his desk three days later. They took that at an early charismas party that Choji had held in his backyard for all their friends. They were both slightly tipsy and Naruto kept complaining that he got a picture of everyone else but them.
She remembered how the blonde shoved the two of them together with Sai's help, Sasuke didn't like others taking pictures of him so she was surprised when he went along with it, Sasuke was always surprising her. That was when they were a year into their relationship and had not too long moved in together. She hadn't known Sasuke went into her phone and sent the picture to his own until later on, Naruto had only sent it to her and Sasuke would never ask Naruto to send it. The blonde wouldn't shut about something like that like he wouldn't shut up about how Sasuke had trouble buying their first-anniversary gift because he wanted it to be perfect. The thought always made her heart bubble over with happiness, Sasuke always affected her.
It was always the little things that made her heart flutter, he made her stomach explode with butterflies and her brain short circuit. This was the crazy kind of love, the one that made your heart long for the other after being separated for a short period of time. The kind that made you trip and stumble all over yourself, it made you babble out non-sense like a little kid. The kind that left you feeling high off of it, the Sasuke and Sakura kind, one of a kind that no one else shares. Even after it's been years they didn't get tired.
Opening his desk draw her heart speed up and her head felt giddy with what she saw. She often left little sticky note messages stuck at the bottom of his monitor when she had to leave the house and he was working at home. Or sometimes she just left them wherever for him to find, like on the bathroom mirror when she was awake and he hadn't gotten up yet, or she'd leave them in his car on his steering wheel. There, right at the corner of the draw was the stack of sticky notes, where he usually had the manila folders that he must have taken with him to work today. The stack so high she was certain all of them were there. She could imagine the blush that would tint his cheeks if she chooses to tease him, he had seemed to rather keep this a secret to himself. She decided to let him keep this little secret for now, but she'd remember to use it later on when he decides to tease her which he did often. He'd tease her till her cheeks were puffed and red, her hands clenched and she'd yell at him, but all he'd do is laugh at her.
After digging around through his desk she got bored and went over to snooping through his other belongings in their bedroom. She's done this countless times but she'd stumble upon something new every so often. Something he may have brought home from work or that Naruto or Sai may have given him. Sometimes it was something he didn't really care for but something she'd want, like the snow globe that sat on her bedside table he had gotten as a Christmas gift from a coworker. Or the little rainbow clip that Naruto had clipped on his hair without him knowing, when he found it he shoved it into his pocket and smacked the blonde friend, he'd forgotten about it until he came home to complain to her. Then she found it in the box, she was surprised he hadn't tossed it out. Sasuke often complained to her about Naruto's little pranks at work, like a little child he'd fuss about how annoying the blonde friend was, she found it cute.
Sakura was on her knees slightly leaning over in their walk-in closet reaching over for the box at the very back. Sasuke stored a lot of stuff in there knowing she'd go through it, he didn't care. Pulling the box out she was startled when a pair of legs came into her peripheral view. Screeching out she fell backward onto her hands looking up immediately, relief to see her lover's face smirking down at her with his hands casually tucked into his pants pockets like he didn't just make her soul leave her body. "What're you doing there hm?" He raised a dark brow at her his smirk broadening a bit more at her expression. The room was dimly light but she was sure he could see how red her face was now with slight embarrassment, she hadn't heard any noise at all, maybe it was because of the rain, or maybe Sasuke was just that good at seeking around.
"N-nothing jeez, you're like a freaking cat, where'd you even come from anyways, I swear you were a ninja in your past life, appearing outta nowhere!?" She took his extended hand he offered and pulled herself to stand on her feet, resting her hand on her chest she took a breathe and laughed. When Sasuke chuckled she laughed louder at the whole situation, she felt like a kid caught in the act for a second. "I got to come home earlier because of that heavy downpour we're getting." He smiled at her now as she came closer to wrap her arms around his neck pulling him towards her, their lips met in a sweet kiss before separating to lock eyes. "I'm not mad at that, I was bored, and this weather isn't doing me well, I was getting lonely." Her eyes as playful as her words, she smiled as he leaned in again stealing another kiss or two, wrapping his arms around her now embracing the warmth that she brought to his slightly cold body. She couldn't help but take a deep breath, taking in his scent, he smelt like home to her. Her mood instantly improving at his sudden appearance.
"I have a thing or two in mind that can entertain the both of us." He smirked again mimicking her playfulness his hands dropped a little lower to her plump butt, she laughed lightly. "I think we both have the same idea." She grins bringing his face down to meet hers again in another kiss that deepened as he walked her backward towards their bed still holding onto her. The once slightly cold room grew hotter by the second.
She giggled as he dropped over her frame, his hands slowly running along her body, his lips on hers still swallowing every sound that came from her open mouth. The box still sat on the floor forgotten but was soon joined by their clothes and a pillow that accidentally got knocked aside.
I just let my hands flow, I hope you liked it, please leave a review to keep me motivated, no really it's much appreciated even a 'I like' would do!, fav and follow for more! :)
