A/N: this may or may not have been inspired by true events, hahaha. But of course, it is over-exaggerated or the story will be boring. Anyway enoy!

It was dark, too dark, every other night she wouldn't notice how dark it was nor did she care, but tonight was different. It was silent, a little too silent but the silence made everything louder. She hated this so much, it has been so long since she had this state of mind, and no matter how hard she tried she couldn't stop thinking like this.

Sighing she glanced at the little round clock on the wall, off to the side of the bedroom where the window was, the curtains making the room look even darker. It was almost three in the morning, great, the devil's hour as she recalled many saying. She then turned to the sleeping body next to her, he was lightly snoring, laying on his side facing her. She thought a while longer about it, he'd be up in a bit, just three hours to go, just that thought alone made her squirm.

'I'm a grown woman, I am a doctor in training, I've seen dead bodies and organs, why am I acting this way.' She huffed lightly pushing the covers off her slightly she was about to stand when she heard a noise outside. 'Or I could wait, I can definitely wait.' She pulled the blanket up to her nose. Feeling like a coward, she rolled her eyes at herself, that could've been the neighbor's dog.

Feeling the pressure in her lower stomach intensified she caved, reaching over she shook her lover's arm. He stirred a bit but didn't wake, when they had just started sleeping together that would have woken him but now Sasuke was used to her light touches at night. There were times she'd roll over onto him or throw her whole body on him to cuddle during the course of the night in her sleep. There were times she'd pull the covers off of him, grope him, or even sleep talk. By now Sasuke has grown immune to all her antics.

She shook him a little harder, squeezing his arm a little too, this time for a bit longer. "Sasuke_kun, Sasuke_kun, wake up please." With that he jolted upright looking her dead in the eye, she saw panic in his face and felt bad for waking him for such a silly situation. "What's wrong hm what is it?" He scanned her face then their bedroom only to see nothing to be worried about. He calmed himself and look at her pouting lips, her pleading eyes. "Sakura what's wrong? Did you have a bad dream?" His hand came up to softly touch her cheek. She leaned into his touch feeling at ease already.

Even in the dark, he could see the blush forming in her face, he tilted his head and pinched her cheek urging her to speak up. "I uh, I need to pee." Sakura bit her lips when she saw his shoulders drop and he sigh. He didn't have to ask he already knew why, he even warned her about it. She felt the lecture coming on, but he didn't say anything, he pushed the covers of his body and got out of bed going straight to the light switch. She sat there like a child clutching the sheets to her awaiting her lover to return to her side.

The room became bright and this made her squint her eyes to adjust to the sudden change. Sasuke was standing in front of her now with his hand out for her to take. He helped her out of bed and lead her down the halls, his hand still holding onto hers, her other hand tightly held his, blue, silk sleep shirt while she walked with little to no space between them. Sasuke quietly flicked on all the lights on their way, he felt Sakura step on the back of his feet several times but didn't say anything.

"Here you go." Sasuke held the bathroom door open for her after switching the lights on, when she didn't make an attempt to step forward he sighed again and walked in closing the door behind them. He stood in front of her looking at the wall as she relieved herself.

She was embarrassed, to say the least, they'd been together for five years, living together for two and a half, she's done a lot of embarrassing things in front of him, he had done some in front of her too but this was a different level. She felt like a kid, looking up at him standing there waiting for her to finish pee. Her, a grown woman who has never even asked her mother to do such a thing since she was like seven. Only Ino accompanied her to late-night bathroom trips and that was because the blonde was just as scared as her when they thought their neighbor across the hall from their dorm room was possessed. Turned out to be Karin one of their best friends right now, she was going through a witch faze.

She knew she shouldn't have had that second cup of tea, but it was chocolate and tasted so good she couldn't help herself. Just like she thought she could watch a marathon of horror movies for the past few days, and ghost hunting videos on YouTube. Those never did anything to her, not usually but maybe watching that many back-to-back were taking a toll on her mind. Especially since Tenten was trying to convince them she had seen a ghost at forensic lab she worked at on a graveyard shift. The brunet was pretty convinced with what she saw, she insisted she'd get evidence to prove it to them.

"I'm done." She wanted to slap herself when the words left her lips, Sasuke chuckled and stretched his hand out again for her to take after she'd washed it. "I didn't want to say anything but you're not watching any more of that shit for a long time." Sasuke poked her forehead when she crawled back into bed pulling the covers up to her chin.

"Yeah yeah just never tell anyone about this ok." She sheepishly commanded feeling her cheeks getting red again. He slipped in beside her pulling her into his arms he pressed a kiss at the back of her head. "Maybe." He chuckled when she whined at him turning around to look at him now. "If I get a kiss I'd forget about it." He smirked as she didn't hesitate to kiss him, pulling back to look at him she waited for his response.

"Hm, didn't work, try harder." She grabbed his face and presses a big long kiss on his lips. "Now?" She asked with a little smile on her face as he pulled her closer to him. He pinched her cheek and kissed her for a bit longer this time. "There forgotten. Try to sleep now." He kissed her forehead and waited for her to close her eyes and drift off to sleep before letting sleep overtake him as well.

I was in a similar situation :p watched a bunch of horrors, and YouTube, I got a little paranoid and scared my own self, haha, and this story came to mind :p
