Tara shouted across the Bullpen, "The $10,000,000 has been withdrawn!"

Suddenly, everybody dropped what they were doing - except for Myles - and huddled around Tara's computer to confirm her statement. Jack shouted in an excited tone, "That's fantastic. We're in this guys, for sure! Bobby, you and I are going to put together a plan on how we are going to infiltrate that warehouse with SWAT. Sue and Tara! I want you to get blueprints of the warehouse and satellite pictures of that area, so we know how to make our approach. D' I need you and a few others to call trucking companies, so that we can rent a couple of empty 18 wheelers for our operation. Alright, let's go! There's not much time."

The team then dispersed. Jack and Bobby went to the nearest boardroom with notepads and markers, Sue went to Tara's computer to begin working, and D' immediately went to the back of the bullpen to talk to some other agents; those agents got on the phone immediately.

Sitting beside Tara, Sue took a quick glance at Myles, who was currently on the phone. Since her and Jack arrived this morning, it was apparent that Myles wanted to be left alone. He didn't look at either of them, and all he said to them when they entered the office was a faint "good morning." According to Jack, Myles was officially off the case. Myles had requested his removal from Garrett, and their supervisor had accepted. Luckily, there was no word that Myles had any plans on leaving the squad. Maybe the whole ordeal yesterday was an overreaction, and Myles would get over it by Saturday. After Myles got off the phone, he quickly gathered a couple of pens, his coffee, and some folders, and left the vicinity.

Tara said, "Alright." Levi nudged Sue, and Sue directed her attention to Tara. "I found the location of the warehouse. Louis told us the truth. Let's take a couple of snapshots, and then we can investigate them later. I'll also save this photo, and enter it into our system."

"Blueprints," asked Sue, "What about the blueprints for the warehouse?"

"That's next." Tara then had a thought. "What's going on, Sue?"

"What do you mean?"

Tara said, "You are in charge of this case. You should be with Bobby and Jack."

Sue replied, "Yes, but I'm not in charge of the infiltration and SWAT."

Tara shrugged. "If it were me, I would storm into that boardroom they're in, and get involved, despite being in charge of the sting or not. Anyway, I printed off the pictures. That gives you an excuse to see what they are cooking up?"

Sue did as she was told, and went to the printer to gather the satellite photos of the warehouse, and the open area surrounding it. She and Levi went to the nearest boardroom, and knocked before entering. She obviously couldn't hear them, but judging by their actions and over exaggerated gestures, they were arguing over something. She looked at the whiteboard, and saw that Jack and Bobby were drawing lines and X's all over. Was it her, or was this case stressing everyone out for some strange reason? She started:

"Uh…guys?"

Bobby and Jack stopped their bickering. Jack said, "Yeah, Sue?"

"I have satellite pictures of the warehouse, and its location. Tara and I are getting the blueprints of the warehouse too. She's going to make a few phone calls." She then went to Jack and handed him the pieces of paper. He took a hard look at the photos, before returning to the whiteboard. While looking at the pictures, he drew a weirdly shaped rectangle that represented the warehouse, a bunch of trees and a few squiggles that were supposed to be the trails and roads.

Jack directed his attention to Bobby. "See, I think we should have teams throughout all locations. Not just in the truck. We need to catch everyone involved, and there's going to be a lot of people. It's a warehouse, not a barn."

Bobby retorted, "But we don't know how many would go into those areas if they split. What if ten escape North, but we only have a team of two up there to apprehend them? That's how we lose teammates, Jack. Also, look at that photo. They could see us coming from a mile away; there's barely any trees covering that area. We are better off putting everybody in the trucks, and when they open them, that's when we unleash our surprise attack."

Jack replied, "But like I keep saying, we don't know what kind of weapons these men have. If they have machine guns at the ready, they'll smoke everyone as we start coming out of the truck. That's how we also lose teammates."

Bobby shook his head. "Well, let's wait for the SWAT captain to get here, and we'll see what he thinks."

Sue said, "What if we get to the warehouse early? We could send a couple of people there undercover on Saturday, so they can check the layout of the warehouse, and not only find out ways we can infiltrate the building, but also find out what kind of weapons they possess. Remember that they're also terrorists, and they make bombs. We could potentially come across those too, so it's good to have another set of eyes there before we undergo any surprises.."

Bobby acknowledged Sue's words. "That's a good suggestion. We could get a couple of people in that warehouse, and get a little tour from…possibly Alain. We deserve that much, because we convinced him that we are big players in this type of business."

Jack said, "One problem. There's a language barrier. Our fluent French linguist is off the case, and even if he was with us, he's chained to a desk until Monday. We all know French, but it's not convincing enough."

Bobby responded, "We have to have other fluent French speakers in the Bureau. Let's call up some other departments and jurisdictions, including Baltimore. We can get them to go in, and get a tour."

Jack replied, "I concur."

Sue added, "But guys…they might not want to talk to just anyone. What will we do if they ask for Myles? He's the one that gained Alain's trust in the first place."

There was silence amongst the room. Obviously, losing Myles was a big punch in the stomach. They didn't realize how much of an asset he was until he was snatched away from them.

In a calm tone, Bobby asked Jack, "Did Garrett talk to you about…you know."

"Yes," Jack said, "And I got an earful."

"...And?"

"Myles went to Garrett and asked to be taken off the case; Garrett accepted his request. The only way we can get Myles back is if we convince him to…but that would pose a challenge, because he's as stubborn as a mule."

Bobby asked, "Did Garrett say anything about Myles…maybe wanting to…transfer squads?"

Jack placed his hands on his hips. "Well, do you want him to?"

"Sometimes."

Jack gave Bobby a look that said, "Really?"

Bobby said, "I'm just kidding. Of course I don't want him to transfer. Well…at least…not like this."

Sue gave Bobby a disappointed look; she figured that he was still mad. Myles and Bobby did get along most days, and made each other laugh and roll their eyes, so why would Bobby cynically joke around like that?

Bobby saw Sue's look and said, "What? I was just making a joke to break the ice."

"No," Jack said, "From what Garrett told me, Myles didn't mention anything about transferring to a different unit. He told Garrett that he wanted off the case, because it was becoming personal."

Sue raised a brow. "Personal?"

Jack answered, "He got hurt by Louis and lys rouge, so he sought revenge. He exchanged words the wrong way with Alain that probably resulted in Louis dying, so he thought it would be best if he left the case before he messed something else up. His words not mine. According to Garrett, he felt terrible for what happened, and…he said nothing to Garrett about leaving the mission because of a lack of trust. But I did."

Sue said, "He might not have said anything, but we all know he still believes that."

Jack nodded. "And I take the blame for that. In the first place, I should have promised him long ago that I trusted him. I should have also talked to him about this situation in private, and I should have explained myself when I told him we re-listened to the tapes. Emotions were high for all of us, and I wasn't thinking like a team leader."

Bobby said, "It sounds like Myles is too attached to the squad. Did Garrett tell you what he's working on right now?"

Jack answered, "Apparently, he's just gathering intelligence from the filing room for small cases that will eventually be transferred to other units in the building. He's got a keen eye for finding specifics. It's just something for him to do while we raid, and he finishes desk duty."

Bobby took a deep breath. He said, "I'll talk to him. I instigated the whole thing yesterday."

Jack replied, "No offense Bobby, but I think that's a bad idea right now. Myles is still heated, and so are you. You'll have your chance later if you choose to make amends. I'll talk to him, because I'm the team leader, and I pushed him over the edge. I have to fix this. I messed up."

Sue said, "Actually, I can talk to him. I texted him last night, and asked him if he'd go out to lunch with me so we could talk things over, and hopefully convince him to come back."

"What did he say?"

"He said…possibly."

Jack sighed, "And what does that mean in Myles' language?"

"Yes…well…maybe."

Halfway through lunch hour, Sue returned to the office with slappy joes and two medium milkshakes. She'd gone to Slappy's to meet with Myles, but after half an hour of waiting, she concluded that he was a no-show. It hurt, but she didn't take it personally; he was just being stubborn. However, she didn't give up on her teammate. If he wasn't going to get lunch with her, she'd bring lunch to him.

She found him in a room on the first floor with boxes of papers strewn on the ground, and on a long table. His feet were up on the table too. He was the only one in there, and he was in deep thought. She could tell, because he was pressing the bottom of his pen to his nose, cheeks and forehead.

Sue knocked on the door. This caused Myles to look up. She then showed him the bag of food and drinks in her hand with a grin.

"Oh," he started, "I should have known you'd be persistent, and do something like this." He tossed his pen aside, lowered his feet from the table, and rose from his chair. "I apologize, Ms. Thomas. I…must've forgotten."

Sue, always seeing the best in people, said, "I believe you."

She reached into the bag, and gave Myles a couple of slappy joes and one of the milkshakes. He accepted the gesture. "Thank you."

Sitting back down, they started their lunch. Sue asked, "What're you working on? It looks intense."

"Not really," Myles said while unwrapping the sandwich, "I'm gathering intelligence, and working on a few cases at once. They're not overly challenging, and they're quite small. I'm simply just using my eagle eyes to find needles in haystacks for the other squads in this building. Me doing this makes them come across incompetent." While taking a bite, he pointed towards a stack of blue folders. There had to be at least thirty in that pile.

"That looks like a lot for one person to chew."

"Nonsense," said Myles with a full mouth.

Sue wasn't buying it. Currently, he was putting up the facade that made the assignments seem like they were going to be a cake walk, but she could tell in his eyes that it was going to overwhelm him, and that he'd rather be with his team busting the bad guys. She should help him when she has some free time.

As they continued eating, Myles finally addressed the elephant in the room. "Sue, is this your attempt at convincing me to come back to the case? If so, it's pitiful. Bribery. Not even you would stoop that low, Thomas."

Sue smiled. "In a sense. But I wanted to make sure you were okay after that outburst yesterday."

Myles assured, "I'm fine, Sue. To be truthful, I feel more free now that I've removed myself. Like you, I sought revenge. Revenge for trying to terminate both me and you. And I did get the revenge both you and I desired, albeit in an unconventional way; however, it felt empty, because although I was glad Louis was dead, I disappointed my teammates in the process. I saw an advantage, and I made use of it. Unfortunately, my words are what most likely killed your informant. That's when I realized that this case was becoming a personal conflict for me."

Sue didn't agree with the last part of that statement. "You didn't know they were going to hurt Louis. You were just playing the part. And what about that trust you were complaining about?"

"Well…that's the other reason I left the case. It was because of Jack and Bobby. They don't trust me. They didn't take my word, went behind my back and started listening to the recordings more than once. And that was the last straw. If I'm untrustworthy in this case, then they should have removed me long before I answered that phone call. I made this all very clear when I got written up after the bomb incident."

Sue said, "Myles, they trust you…"

Myles continued, "If my team cannot trust me defusing a bomb, making calls, or taking my word, how can they trust me with their life. One day, a gun will be aimed at my team, and it'll be my job to make the kill, but I won't be able to, because they refuse to trust me."

Sue asked, "Are you thinking of leaving this unit?"

Myles squinted, "I'm afraid you're not going to get rid of me that easily, Ms. Thomas."

"Well," Sue took a sip of her milkshake. "I hope you can reconsider, because this case needs you. You and I started it, I only hoped that you could finish it together."

"I'm sorry, Sue."

"I understand," Sue said. She stood up and grabbed her milkshake. She concluded, "If you feel like no one trusts you, I trust you with my life. I'll come back later. You look like you need some help with those folders."

"I don't need…"

But she was gone.

Sue entered the Bullpen. She approached Bobby and Jack who were eating salads at their desks. Jack asked, "How did it go?"

Sue shook her head. Jack could tell she was getting frustrated. "No, he didn't bite."

Jack sighed. "I guess it's my turn."

Bobby commented, "Well, if you can't convince him, Prince Jack, then no one can."

Jack was about to get up, but Sue suggested, "Sit, Jack. I think he wants to be alone right now. Talk to him after hours. Maybe he'll appreciate that." She took another sip of her milkshake. "I think I prefer chocolate instead of Strawberry."
