Description - After Marshall sprayed Rocky with water (again), Rocky was pissed off with the the Dalmatian, which caused Marshall to believe that his friends hated him for his clumsiness; resulting in him running away.

Rocky was outside the lookout, next to his puphouse, working on a new invention. He had nearly completed it and was proud of how it was coming along. Meanwhile, not too far away, Marshall was training with his puppack. With Chase having set up many targets for Marshall to hit with his water cannons. While he was hitting the targets, he missed one of them, resulting in a beam of water striking Rocky from across the yard.

The water not only drenched Rocky, but also landed on his new invention, frying it. Marshall ran over to make sure his friend was okay, but Rocky then blew up at Marshall, which startled the Dalmatian.

"What the hell Marshall!?" Rocky yelled at him, pissed off with the Dalmatian for dousing him in water for the third time that month.

"I-I'm sorry Rocky, I didn't mean too." Marshall apologized to the mixed breed, which didn't seem to work as Rocky continued.

"You didn't mean too!? This is the third time this month alone that you've sprayed me with water, fully knowing that I hate water!" Rocky continued yelling at the Dalmatian. Marshall backed away from him, becoming upset from the yelling.

"Rocky, I truly am sorry!" Marshall apologized again, hoping his friend would accept it. Though he became more upset when Rocky didn't.

"Just go away Marshall! You do nothing but ruin everything!" Rocky told the Dalmatian, turning away from him and trying to fix his now fried invention.

Marshall lowered his head and turned away, walking toward his bright red puphouse to give Rocky some space. Upon entering, he tossed his puppack to the side and hopped into his bed, before burying his head into his pillow as tears fell from his eyes. He felt as if Rocky was right, and all he did was ruin everything for everyone because of his clumsiness. This wasn't the first time one of the other pups had blown up on him for his clumsiness and silliness, both Chase and Zuma having done so in the past, though not quite as badly as Rocky had.

Marshall then raised his head and glanced over to the exit of his puphouse as he once again remembered Rocky's words from a moment ago.

Just go away Marshall! You do nothing but ruin everything!

He then made a horrible decision. If he was as useless as the others seemed to think he was, he would run away. As to him, it seemed like that was what they'd want, and he just wanted to make his friends happy. Marshall stood up and took off his puptag, throwing it onto the ground and writing a quick note, dropping it onto the ground next to his puptag before leaving his puphouse. He then managed to sneak past Rocky unnoticed, and once he was a good enough distance away, he began running. Straight over the bridge that separated the lookout from Adventure Bay.

20 minutes later...

Rocky threw the wrench he was holding onto the ground, having given up on trying to fix his invention. Now that he had time to think, he began feeling bad for blowing up on Marshall. As he understood the pup was just clumsy, and Marshall hitting him with the water cannon was just an accident. The mixed breed turned and began walking to the red puphouse to apologize to the firepup, knocking on the door when he arrived. He waited for a moment but received no response, which he honestly expected.

"Marshall, c'mon! can we talk?" Rocky asked him through the door, leaning up against it. Once again, he received no response, which still didn't surprise him.

"Marshall, I'm sorry for blowing up on you. Can you please come out?" Rocky asked, wanting to see the Dalmatian. Once again, receiving no response. Rocky was beginning to become worried now, it wasn't normal for Marshall to be this silent to someone. If he really didn't want to speak, he would've told Rocky to come back later, not completely ignore him. After asking the Dalmatian to come out again, and receiving no replay, Rocky said he was coming in and opened the door. The mixed breed looked around and immediately noticed that the Dalmatian was missing.

Rocky then looked down and saw Marshall's puptag on the ground, next to a note. He picked up the note and began reading it, his eyes growing wide before he turned and left the puphouse, rushing straight to the lookout and then to the elevator, he knew he had to tell Ryder immediately before Marshall got himself hurt.

Once the elevator arrived at the top, Rocky left the elevator and ran to Ryder's room. He then called out for Ryder, telling him he needed to speak to him immediately. It took a moment but Ryder then opened the door, letting Rocky in.

"Alright, what is it that you need Rocky?" Ryder asked, noticing that Rocky was holding a note in his mouth, being very careful as to not ruin the note.

"Marshall ran away! We need to get everyone together and go find him before he gets hurt!" Rocky told him, handing him the note as he lowered his head and began whispering something.

Ryder took the note and began reading it, his eyes growing wider as he read. Once he was done, he looked over at Rocky and listened to what he was listening.

"It's all my fault." Rocky whispered. Ryder walked over to the pup and kneeled down next to him, laying his hand onto the pups back to calm him down.

"Don't worry Rocky, we'll find him." Ryder assured the mixed breed. Rocky turned to look at him before nodding, and then got up and left the room. Ryder then grabbed his puppad and told all the pups to report to the lookout immediately.

A couple minutes later...

The elevator rose through the tower, carrying all the pups to the top where it stopped. The pups then hopped out of the elevator one at a time and got into formation, as Ryder went over and stood in front of the large monitor.

"PAW Patrol! Ready for action, Ryder sir!" Chase reported, saying his signature catchphrase like he would for any mission.

"Thanks for coming quickly pups, we have a serious problem this time." Ryder said as the monitor displayed a familiar Dalmatian. "Marshall has run away and we need to find him before he gets himself hurt." The pups all looked at one another, clearly worried for their friend. Then Ryder continued. "First, I'll need... Skye! I'll need you to fly around using your helicopter to locate Marshall. He couldn't have gone too far from the lookout, so begin with the town itself. If you can't find him there, then continue to the nearby forest."

"This pups gotta fly!" Skye said, jumping forward and doing her backflip.

"Next, I'll need... Chase! I need you to help search for him on foot and have your net cannon ready, just in case." Ryder told the shepherd.

"Chase is on the case!" Chase said, jumping forward and stomping his paw onto the ground.

"Everyone else, I need you to help search for Marshall on foot. The faster we find him, the better." Ryder told the rest of the pups. Each one confirmed that they were ready, before returning to the ground floor via the slide, while Ryder slid down the firepole next to him.

Meanwhile, with Marshall

Marshall was trotting through the streets of Adventure Bay, trying to get as far away from the lookout as he could. The Dalmatian didn't know where he'd go, but he figured that he'd find out when he got there. He soon heard something flying above him and looked up to see a familiar pink helicopter searching for someone, no doubt searching for him. Marshall began running faster, trying to lose the helicopter, but his running only made it easier for the helicopter to see him.

He decided to run into the next alleyway he saw, assuming it'd be easier to lose the helicopter, which it was. Skye quickly lost him, but Marshall assumed she already told the others about his location, which he was right about.

Why are they looking for me? Don't they want me gone? Marshall asked himself, confused as to why his friends were searching for him if they wanted him gone so badly.

Marshall then began walking down the alleyway, still wondering why they were searching for him when he heard someone up ahead. Marshall looked up and saw two large strays in front of him, both growling upon seeing the Dalmatian.

"H-Hey..." Marshall greeted them, backing up as they approached him. This isn't good! Marshall thought to himself, looking around as he tried to find a way out of the situation he found himself in.

Back with the others

Ryder, Chase, and Rocky were walking down the sidewalk, on the way to the location Skye gave them. Ryder was speaking with Skye on his puppad as they walked, being informed that Marshall had went down an alleyway and she couldn't see him anymore.

Rocky had his head lowered as they walked, worried for Marshall's safety and feeling guilty for Marshall running away. Ryder noticed this and asked the mixed breed what was wrong.

"It's my fault he ran away." Rocky told him, closing his head and looking down at the ground, feeling even more guilty.

"Why do you say that?" Ryder asked, confused as to why Rocky was blaming himself. Rocky glanced up at him before explaining.

"I was working on a new invention earlier, while Marshall was training with his puppack. He ended up missing one of the targets, hitting me and frying the invention I was working on. I blew up on him when he tried to apologize, and he must've ran away because of me." Rocky explained, closing his eyes tightly, expecting Ryder and Chase to be mad at him. But he was surprised when Ryder stopped him and kneeled down next to him.

"Rocky, I can tell you're worrying about him. You don't need to worry, we'll find him and make sure he's okay." Ryder said to him, trying to comfort the mixed breed.

"You don't need to blame yourself, we all were a bit hard on Marshall. It's all of our fault for him running away." Chase added.

Rocky looked up at Ryder and smiled, believing them that he'd be okay. They soon arrived at Marshall's last known location, and heard some sort of commotion in a nearby alleyway. The three of them quickly ran to the entrance of the alleyway, and saw Marshall trying to fight off two large strays that were attacking him.

"Net cannon! Fire!" Chase yelled, resulting in his puppacks net cannon firing and striking one of the strays, knocking him to the ground. The other stray jump back from Marshall, glancing at their now stuck friend before looking back at Chase. They then made the decision to retreat, knowing they couldn't win at this point.

Rocky ran up to Marshall, with Ryder following behind. While Chase kept an eye on the remaining stray, who was still stuck in the net.

"Marshall! Are you okay!?" Rocky asked, checking over his friend for any injuries. Seeing a couple clawmarks here and there.

"Yeah, they didn't do too much damage to me. Just a couple scratches, that'll probably result in a scar or two." Marshall replied, standing up and smiling at them. He then decided to ask them the question. "Why did you guys come looking for me? Didn't you want me gone?" Marshall asked, confused as to why they came for him.

"No! Of course not! You're our friend!" Rocky replied.

"Because your our friend, of course we would come find you! Why would you even think we wouldn't?" Chase asked, surprised that the Dalmatian honestly expected them to not care.

"Because you guys always seemed to hate me for my clumsiness." Marshall replied, still surprised that they came looking for him.

"We don't hate you Marshall! We may get annoyed by it sometimes, but you're still our friend." Chase told him, shocked that the Dalmatian would even suggest that they hated him.

"Marshall, we need to get you to Katie's to treat your wounds." Ryder said as he examined the scratches on the firepup.

"Ryder, I appreciate you caring for me, but I can treat them mysel-" Marshall stopped, catching the stare that Chase was giving him. "Alright then, let's go." Marshall responded.

Later that day...

Everyone was back at the lookout, with Marshall having gotten his puppack back and ready to continue practicing his aim with the water cannons. Chase protested, insisting that Marshall should be resting. But Marshall promised him he'd be careful, and would also have Rocky watching over him, which Chase ended up accepting, knowing he couldn't convince the Dalmatian otherwise.

Marshall was doing pretty well, hitting each target with almost perfect precision. His friends were watching from a distance, some of them cheering him on as he downed target after target. He soon finished and turned toward the others, but didn't wait for his water cannons to finish firing, which caused Rocky to be doused again.

"Oops, sorry Rocky." Marshall apologized, running up to the mixed breed. Rocky glared at the spotted pup before laughing it off, with the other pups joining in soon after.
