(Emerald Forest)
Roar! Luffy jumped over a giant claw as Luffy punched the Ursa Major in the snout causing it to reel back in pain "That was for killing my ride!" Luffy says smiling as the Grimm roars again this time trying to crush the annoying human, Luffy however hopped back from each slam before a swipe launched Luffy back into the woods, the Ursa was about to run to catch it's pray before feeling it's fur being tugged it looks to it's shoulder and holding on to the tuft is a hand that stretched to where its prey is "Gomu Gomu no…!" The Grimm growl as it rush to its prey "Missile!" Luffy retract into its chest breaking the Grimms armor plate and sending the Grimm along with Luffy flying into the forest.
Once the momentum died out with the disintergrating Grimm start to fall, along with Luffy who smiled before noticing both him and the Grimm found themselves over a cliff "Oh cra-AAAAAAAAaaaaaaaaaahhh!" feeling gravity taking back control, Luffy scream as he fell into the woods holding his hat so he doesn't lose it.
(present time)
"And I landed on a Boarbatusk that was sleeping under the cliff, it was really wild!" Luffy laughed as he held his hat from the bucking Boarbatusk which is a Boar like Grimm with bone like plates covering its body and four glowing red eyes and with an outraged squeal reveals it's sharp fangs and four large curved tusks.
"That's nice and all, but can you stop this thing!" Zoro snaps as he held on the bucking Grimms by its flank as it rush into the forest bashing into trees trying to knock off the humans on its back and due to the extra weight it can't lift itself to roll.
Luffy just laughs "Shishishi, yeah I have no idea how to stop it, it's really a problem huh? Hahahaha!".
Zoro sweatdropped as he looked at a laughing Luffy "I was stupid to assume anything." Zoro deadpanned as Luffy kept laughing.
(The Teams are formed, The battle at the Temple!)
(Cliff side.)
Ozpin smiled as he sip his coffee as he watched Luffy riding a Boarbatusk laughing the whole time.
"The last pair has been formed sir." Ozpin looked back as Glynda walking up with her scroll tablet "Nora Valkyrie and Lie Ren. Poor boy... I can't possibly imagine those two getting along. Still, he's probably better off than Miss Nikos." she then huffs as she narrow her eyes in suspicion "I don't care what his transcripts say. That Jaune fellow is not ready for this level of combat." she then closed her tablet.
Ozpin just hummed at the information, Glynda sighs "I guess we'll find out soon enough. At their current pace, they should reach the temple within just a few minutes." she then turns to him "Speaking of which, what did you use as relics this year?" she was met with silence as Ozpin looked intently on his scroll "Professor Ozpin?".
Ozpin just kept watching with a contemplating look 'Now what are you going to do now?' he thought as he watched Ruby and Weiss in the forest.
(With Ruby and Weiss)
Ruby now sitting on a rock a little bored, now you must be wondering why is Ruby sitting on a rock looking bored in a Grimm infested forest? "It's definitely this way." she watched Weiss walked past her before stopping than turning into the other direction "I mean... this way! It's definitely this way." she's being doing this for half an hour now and it all started because Ruby asked if they were lost, Weiss finally stopped as she sighs "Alright, it's official: We passed it" she huffs.
Ruby now a little annoyed as she got off the rock "Weiss, why can't you just admit that you have no idea where we're going?" Ruby says a little annoyed at being stuck in the same place.
Weiss turns to Ruby as she puts her fist on her hip "Because I know exactly where we're going! We're going... to…" she then crossed her arms with one hand pointing up as she looked around "The forest temple!" Ruby just gave a frustrated sigh getting Weiss to look annoyed at her "Oh, stop it! You don't know where we are, either!".
"Well, at least I'm not pretending like I know everything." Ruby retorts getting Weiss to look offended.
"What is that supposed to mean?" Weiss glares back.
"It means you're a big stupid jerk and I hate you!" Ruby yelled getting Weiss to just groan.
"Just keep moving." Weiss already fed up with this, marches off.
Ruby kept her glare before following "Oh, just keep moving! Hurry up! Wah, watch where you're going!" Ruby mockingly say before glaring at her supposed partner "Why are you so bossy?".
"I'm not bossy!" Weiss spins around looking offended by that comment "Don't say things like that!" Weiss than marches up to Ruby.
Ruby also marches up "Than stop treating me like a kid!" Ruby demanded as both girls glare at one another.
"Than stop acting like a child!".
"Well stop acting like you're perfect!".
"I'M NOT PERFECT!" Weiss shouts out getting Ruby to stop a bit "I know I'm not perfect." she closed her eyes as she remember what her Uncle said to her 'Why do you want to be perfect Weiss? Your Pops? Why do you need to be perfect for him? Why be perfect for a Prick when you can just be better than him? so Weiss don't aim for perfection, aim to be better.' Weiss took a breath before glaring at Ruby "But I'm still leagues better than you." Weiss walked off glaring ahead "Because I'll never stop getting better." she whispers to herself.
Ruby just looks down "You don't even know me…." she then follow after Weiss both not seeing a shadow flying over head.
(The Forest Temple)
It was thirty minutes since Yang and Blake took down the Ursais and is now walking through the woods "I mean it could've been Ursa, it was bear-ly a fight." Blake sighs at Yang making those terrible puns, the first time she thought it was kinda funny now Yang is trying to get her to laugh the whole time now, and it was torture.
As Yang was about to start her next joke she noticed the clearing out of the woods "Oh, hey looks like we're almost out of the woods.".
Blake sighs in relief "Thank god." she mumbled as she walked faster hoping to reach the clearing faster.
Yang looked surprised "Hey, wait up!" Yang said as she catches up.
Both made it out of the woods and found themselves on top of the cliff, both looked down to find a temple ruins "Think this is it?" Yang asked getting Blake to gives her a you serious look, she shook her head as she made her way down with a confused Yang following behind.
As both girls made it to the Temple did they start to hear voices "You think Ozpin wouldn't mind if I keep one of these?" Yang flinched a bit at the voice because it felt familiar but she can't help but feel a little nervous about it.
"I'm pretty sure he would and we're only going to pick one not three…..WHAT DID I JUST SAY!?" she recognize that voice as both Yang and Blake round the corner did they see Ussop crossing his arms as he watched Nami debate between two gold chest piece "Just pick one and put the others back.".
Nami gave him a pouty look "Can I at least keep the one I pick." she was only met with a deadpanned stare did she sighs "Fine….I guess we'll take the queen piece." Nami reluctantly put down the king piece keeping the gold queen piece, she then gave him a glare "Are you happy now?".
Ussop sweatdropped "What am I? Your dad?" he shook his head "You know we we're only suppose to take one than head back to the cliff." he says before turning around "So lets hurry back befo-" "Hey you made it!" "Kyaaaa!?" Ussop was spooked as Yang appeared behind him and was surprised by his sudden outburst, Ussop with his hand on his chest glares at Yang "Don't do that I almost had a heart attack!".
Yang just raised her hands up giving a sheepish smile "Sorry about that." Blake made her way to her as she gave the relics a raised brow.
"Chess pieces?" Blake asked as she got closer for a better look "And is this made of gold?".
Nami shook her head "No' just gold coated but it will still nab me a couple 10 000's of liens." Nami giggled with a greedy look in her eyes.
Yang sweatdropped from that before noticing some empty pedestals "Looks like we're not the first one here. Or did you take some of them?" she turns to Nami who stop her daydream before glaring at Yang.
"And what are you insinuating?" Nami gave Yang a piercing glare getting Yang to hide behind one of the pedestals chuckling nervously.
"Are we going to act like you weren't trying to take the other gold chest pieces?" Ussop sighs as he gave a shake of his head "-Shut up!-" "Yes ma'am.".
Blake just looked to the remaining chest pieces not wanting to be in whatever skit they were in "Let's just pick one of them." Blake says to Yang who nods as she snuck away from the orange haired girl who just gave Yang a look.
(Somewhere else in the forest)
"You think this it?" Jaune asked as he stood in front of a large cave, with a nervous gulp he walked in to check it out "It looks pretty dark in there.".
Pyrrha followed after but noticing some carving on the cave walls seeing a mural depicting a warrior group fighting off a giant scorpion like monster, Snap! Pyrrha whirled around with Miló and Akoúo̱ out but relaxed as she saw Jaune with a branch looking at Pyrrha with a sheepish look "Sorry I was looking for a good stick to make a torch.".
Pyrrha giggled abit as she walked over to him "Here, it might help with your torch." she said as she gave Jaune a handkerchief.
"Oh! Pyrrha I don't think I should burn this!" Jaune says trying to give it back only for Pyrrha to push his hand back to him.
"It's okay I got more than that, it was giving to me by my sponsors so I really have more than I need." Pyrrha says feeling a little relief of getting rid of it.
Jaune still looked hesitant "Are you sure?" she just nods getting him to sigh "Okay…" he then unfolds the handkerchief which got her smiling face on it "Are you sure!? Don't we have something else to use at least something that doesn't feel like I'm doing some weird ritual for a torch!?".
"It's okay really I'm sure it's fine!".
"Can we at least burn something that doesn't have my friends face on it?!".
"F-F-Friend!?"
(Few minutes of struggling later)
"It's a good thing you have another that doesn't have your face on it otherwise I'll have really mix feelings about it." Jaune says as he walked in the cave with his torch now burning brightly.
"I'm sorry.." Pyrrha says feeling embarrassed for getting so passionate about it.
Jaune just gave a sheepish chuckle "Nothing to be sorry about really. At least we got this torch now." Jaune than looks a bit proud about his handiwork.
Pyrrha just smiled at him before frowning as she looked around her surrounding, it felt off "I'm not sure this is it." she looked around warily.
Jaune sighs "Pyrrha, I made the torch. Could you at least humor me for, like, five more feet?-Woah!?"Splash sizzleit didn't take two steps for Jaune to trip over his own feet and fall into a puddle putting out his torch and a bit of his pride.
Pyrrha looked around as that weird feeling got bigger "Do you feel that?" Pyrrha got close to Jaune incase something would use the darkness to attack them.
"Soul crushing regret?" Jaune snarked as he wipe his face of the muddy water.
"No it feels…" Pyrrha focused as she got a better feel from the cave "Warm.".
(Back at the Temple)
As Yang walked around the temple trying to decide what piece she should take before stopping at one, Yang gave a scrutinizing hum before smiling as she swiped it off the pedestal "How bout a cute little pony?" she asked Blake as she waved the golden knight piece at her.
Blake just rolled her eyes "Sure." she says as she made her way to her partner with Yang doing the same.
"That wasn't too hard." Yang says with an easygoing smile "A little too easy to be called a test.".
"Well it's not like this place is that hard to find." Nami chimes in as she looked from the side "You have to be absolutely hopeless to not find your way here.".
(Back in the cave)
Jaune and Pyrrha are now trudging through the dark cave before noticing the cave getting brighter "I think we're almost there." Jaune says as he made his way through and once he turned the corner did he stop and smile "That's the relic!" he says as he saw what he assume is a floating glowing golden artifact that to him screams relic, as he got close to carefully grab it did it float back "Hey!" he than starts to grab it more forcefully "Bad relic, get back here!" Jaune than jumps and grabs the relic "Gotcha!.".
Pyrrha on the other hand looked wary as she felt the warm feeling coming from the relic that Jaune is now holding onto before he was then lift up in the air "Jaune…" Pyrrha readied her Miló and Akoúo̱ as she watched Jaune being raised higher "Maybe you should let that go…".
Jaune looked back "What? But we were suppose to find this thing right?" he then notice some chittering sound in front of him so when he turned back he saw the glowing red markings on a bone white mask hissing at him.
(Back at the Temple)
KYYYYYYyyyyyyaaaaaaaaaaaa!
The four teens looked to where the girly scream came from "Some girl's in trouble!" Yang says as she looked to the others "Do you guys hear that?".
"Nope, I didn't hear something that might be scary or dangerous, not a thing." Ussop says as he hid behind cover.
"Oh, really? Than if that's the case than why are you hiding behind a delicate girl like me!" Bonk! Said cover says as Nami punched Ussop in the head causing him to hold it in pain.
Blake on the other hand notice something flying over the forest causing her to look perplexed.
(Somewhere else in the forest)
Nora is now groaning at having nothing to fight "Boring!".
"Nora…" Ren sighed as he kept walking.
"But Ren this place is suppose to be overrun with Grimms, Grimms! But I didn't even see a single Beowolf or Ursa!" Nora pouts as she follows "And I just found you after you killed that King Taijitu, It was so cool but I didn't even have the chance to jump in!"
Ren just sighs "Nora, I'm sure there will be a Grimm for you to fight." and just as Ren said that a Giant Boarbatusk crash through behind them getting them too look at it in surprise.
"….That is AMAZING! Ren I didn't know you could do that?!" Nora looked to her most cherished but not romantically friend in awe.
Ren on the other hand just looked confused, though he does notice something he would never believe to be possible "Is someone riding it?" he says confused.
Nora gave a laughing snort "Come on Renny there is no way someone is crazy enough to do that.".
"Wooohooo, this is fun!"
"Someone stop this stupid thing!"
"THERE IS SOMEONE AND IT'S A TWO'FER!" Nora double took the scene and indeed she sees someone riding the bucking Grim with someone holding on to it's rump for dear life, she then looks to Ren like she saw the coolest roller coaster "Can we do that Ren, please, please, please, please, pretty please?" Nora asked as she bounced on her feet.
Ren gave Nora a warning look "Nora."
"Ren." Nora grins
"Nora no!"
"Nora Yes!" Nora started to chase the bucking Boarbatusk.
"NORA!" Ren chased after her.
(Back at the Cave)
Pyrrha ran for a while, luckily the cave is somewhat linear so there is no way for her to get lost, however the downside to that is SCREECH! "Help me!" Pyrrha looked back to see Jaune still holding the "relic" being waved around trying to get Jaune off but he was too scared to let go "Pyrrha he~~~lp!" Pyrrha notice a light ahead an opening she found her way out.
Putting all her focus out into the open so she could fight back and save Jaune, and once she made it out of the cave mouth she turned as the cave mouth exploded in a cloud of dust with only its silhouette and a glowing point with another shadow hanging from it SCREECH! the dust is blasted away to show a giant scorpion Grimm known as a Death Stalker and judging by the dull shell and layer of moss it must be an Elder Grimm.
And hanging from the glowing stinger on the Grimms tail is the near sobbing Jaune screaming "Help! Aaaaah Why!? Pyrrha He~e~e~e~lp!" Jaune cried as the Grimm swing him around trying to get the crying teen off it's stinger "Pyrrha this is not the relic! It's no~t!" Jaune gave another cry at the Grimm much more sharper shake loosening Jaune's grip much to his panic "Do something!".
Pyrrha readied her weapons to save her partner "Jaune whatever you do don't let-" She was cut off by Jaune screaming having being flung from another sharp tail flick, Pyrrha just watched at a screaming Jaune flying into the woods "-go.." a hiss like huff got her to look at the Death Stalker glaring down at her getting her so give it a sheepish smile before running after her partner.
SCRREEEECH! The Death Stalker roars as it chased after the fleeing huntress as she ran into the forest which the Grimm knock down as it chased its pray.
(Back at the Temple)
After hearing that screech like roar Yang looks to the forest "You guys hear that?" she turns to the group "What should we do?".
Ussop just shivered "W-Well we got our relics right?" he says as he turns to the opposite "We should just go right now." he was only met with disappointed looks.
Blake was still looking up squinting her eyes to see the thing flying over head.
Nami on the other hand just tried to asses the situation before hearing a distant cry "Wait!" she got everyone attention "Did you hear that?" she asked getting everyone to look around.
Blake on the other hand heard it and as she try to pinpoint it she noticed it was coming from above her so as she looks up did she looked shocked and confused "Uh." getting everyone attention as she just points up.
Looking up did they notice someone shouting as they fell from the sky "heaAADS UUUUUUPPP!" they heard crying as they see the falling person was.
"Ruby!?" Yang shouts in surprise as she got ready to catch her sister another scream was heard as a blur collide with her sister launching them towards a tree "Ruby!" Yang cried out in concern.
Blake looked at where Ruby landed and turned to her partner "….Did your sister just fall from the sky?" Yang was trying to figure out how to answer that- Crash Roar!
They turn to see a giant Boarbatusk bucking and squealing as if trying to get something off it's back causing Ussop to scream in terror "Gyaaa! A wild Grimm is coming towards us!" Ussop turned to run.
Nami was also prepared to run but she also hear a familiar sound and when she turned back did her eyes widen in surprised "Is someone riding that Grimm!?".
Luffy just laughed as he and the girl next to him were whooping and hollering over the desperate Grimm that wants nothing more than to roll them off it's back, but thanks to one extra weight on it's rump it can't roll and when it tried all it did was digging it's snout in the ground meaning all it can do is to ram itself into the trees to squash these insects, and seeing some stone structure in front of it gave these unfeeling monsters some hope.
"This so fun! Why didn't I think of this before!?" Nora the girl next to Luffy says getting a laugh from him.
"Yeah it is, and I thought of a move that lets me ride on an Ursa, too bad it was too weak because another Ursa killed it!" Nora than gave Luffy a stunned look.
"That. Sounds…..AWESOME! You gotta teach me how after initiation!" Nora screamed getting Luffy to laugh some more.
Luffy did stop once he notice the Grimm is heading to the now panicking teens at the temple "Hey guys! You might wanna get out of the way! We can't stop it!" Luffy hollered.
Nora on the other hand smirked "But Luffy I know how to stop it." she says getting Luffy to look at her in confusion until he saw her pull out what looks like a gun metal gray revolver grenade launcher with pink grenades in the revolver much to Luffy's excited look, this is Nora's weapon Magnhild.
Hearing Luffy gawking Zoro looks up to see the energetic girl that somehow hitched a ride pulls out a grenade launcher, that got Zoro to look nervous which was amplified when said launcher unfolds itself into a maul hammer "Oi, you can't be seriously-" he cut himself off as the crazy girl rears back the hammer "OI! STOP WHATEVER IT IS YOU'RE-" BOOOM! Zoro screamed as she found himself launched into the air and crashing between Yang and Blake.
"…...Did you guys just ride a giant Boarbatusk all the way here!?" Nami asked as she couldn't believe what she just saw.
"It was not by choice…." Zoro growled out as he held his head.
Both Luffy and Nora laughs as they jumped off the dazed Grimm like they just got off the roller coaster "Shishishishi That was fun!".
"Yeah! Too bad we broke it. Oh well!" Nora cheers before noticing something behind the other teens "Oooh!" Nora says as she skips past Zoro.
"Zoro why are you lying around?" Luffy asked as he notice Zoro who picked himself up and starts to dust himself.
"Whose fault is it huh!?" Zoro snaps at him until they heard a tired panting sound.
Ren having to chase Nora who was riding a Grimm all the way there so he was slightly light headed when he got there "Nora..don't…ever..do that…again…." Ren panted out but when he looked up he noticed his friend isn't there "Nora?".
Luffy and Zoro just points behind them showing Nora staring at a gold rook piece before grabbing it and starts to dance around with it singing "I'm queen of the castle~! I'm queen of the castle~!".
"NORA!" Ren shouts out while pinching the bridge of his nose 'Really that girl.'.
Hearing her close but not that close friend calling her causing her to stop letting the castle piece to fall off her head and onto her hand "Coming Ren!" Nora skipped up to her child hood sweet hea- I mean good friend.
"Great! So are there any more Grimms invited?" Yang asked sarcastically before hearing rustling sound followed by crashes, as she and the others look to see Pyrrha running out of the woods followed by an elder Death Stalker, Yang glares up to the sky "That was rhetorical!" she waved her fist.
Pyrrha manage to jump over a claw snap using it to vault further ahead did she notice the group and once she saw a familiar blonde stuck in a tree did she smile "Jaune!".
"Pyrrha!" Jaune called back but notice a certain red head jump down the tree "Ruby~!" he whined.
Ruby rolled as she landed and once back up she saw her sister "Yang!"
Yang stop glaring at the sky and turns "Ruby!" she ran up ready to hug her sister until.
"NORA!" Nora pops up between them surprising them.
"Nora!" Ren shouts out behind her.
"REN!" She shouts as she raised her hand in the air.
Ren just sighs before feeling two hands on his shoulder looking left and right he saw Ussop and Nami giving him a pitying look, Ren gave another sigh.
Luffy and Zoro just kept watching Pyrrha being chased by the Grimm "Did that girl really ran all the way here with a Death Stalker on her tail?" Zoro asked as Luffy tilts his head feeling like he saw her before but not sure where.
Blake notice her partner shaking and before she could ask what's wrong Yang exploded "I can't take it anymore! Can everyone just chill out for two seconds before something crazy happens again?!" Yang shouts out as her hair flairs and her eyes glowed red scaring Ruby and Ussop, surprising Zoro, Blake, Ren and Nami, while Luffy and Nora just looked at her. (Jaune is too busy trying to climb down from the tree to notice.)

Blake, Zoro and Ruby looked up to the sky "Umm...Yang" Ruby says as she tugged her sister's sleeve causing Yang to sigh as she look to Ruby she saw her pointing up, following her view up she notice a small white figure hanging off a Nevermore yelling at them, wow, that girl got lungs.
Because the group is not making a racket they can finally hear "How could you leave me!?" Weiss shouting at them.
Ruby felt Zoro eyes on her but she ignores it "I said "jump"!" Ruby shouts back getting Zoro to rub his face.
"She's gonna fall." Zoro groans.
Ruby just scoffs "She's fine."
Blake on the other hand just points "She's falling." getting Ruby to look up surprise and starts to fret.
Zoro looked to Luffy who nods as he ran and readies his hands for a foot hold with Zoro running up he jumps and land on Luffy's hand, and to the surprise of everyone there he launched Zoro up high into the sky surprising those who thought he wasn't that strong due to Luffy's scrawny build.
Jaune finally untangle himself off the branch but noticing the cry from the sky he looks up to see an angel fall from the sky, so with a determine look he ran and jump up to catch his snow angel only to be knocked back as, from his perceptive, he saw a demon flies up and caught the angel and he could've swore he saw his angel smi- Thud "…..My back…" Jaune groaned as he lands beside Luffy.
"Why are you sleeping on the ground?" Luffy asked getting a pained groan from Jaune.
Zoro lands right next to them "Is me catching you going to be a thing?" Zoro sighs getting Weiss to blush as he sets her down gently.
"Well it wasn't my idea to jump on a Nevermore as it comes diving toward us." she says as she crossed her arms as she glares at her partner who was whistling innocently as she avoids meeting her eyes.
Zoro just glanced at Luffy who's poking a prone Jaune "At least you have a choice." he looks back at Weiss who raised a brow "I was thrown on a Boarbatusk thanks to that idiot." he points his thumb at Luffy who waved at them.
Pyrrha's focus was interrupted by Jaune getting knocked down by that coward and thanks to that she didn't see a claw backhanding her sending her to land in front of the group who just looked.
"Great! The gang's all here! Now we can die together!" Yang cheered sarcastically having her fill on crazy at the moment.
Ruby not getting the false cheer looks determined "Not if I can help it!""-Ruby, wait!" and with a battle cry she charges up to the Death Stalker not hearing her sister telling her to stop, Ruby position Crescent Rose behind her as she fires a blank using the recoil to launch Ruby to the Death Stalker only to be batted aside by it's claws.
"Ruby!" Yang cried in worry as she, Luffy and the others ran to help the red hooded girl.
Ruby a little groggy from the hit stumbled to her feet "D-Do-Don't worry! Totally fine!" she than notice a shadow casting over her as she turns to see giant scorpion Grimm rearing its stinger on her, Ruby without hesitation fires at the Grimms many eyes pushing her away as well as disorient the Grimm as it stabs its tail into the ground.
As Ruby ran back to the group she heard a cry above her as the Nevermore flap its wings to unleash a rain of arrow like feathers that stabs into the ground pinning Ruby by her hood and cutting the others off from her.
"Ruby, get out of there!" Yang cried as she tries to push the feather out of the way.
Ruby on the other hand is trying her hardest to pull her hood out of the ground "I'm trying." Ruby strained she than saw the Death Stalker rearing its tail again now determined to stab Ruby through her heart.
Yang eyes widen "RUBY!"she cried as she reach out to her sister.
"Zoro! Wice!" Luffy looks back at the two, Weiss who felt her brow twitched but before she could berate the Straw hat teen, Zoro grabbed her as he nods to Luffy who to Weiss's stunned eyes stretched his arms to them and with one free hand Zoro grabbed on "Gomu Gomu no" he retract his arm and threw them to the front of the group who only saw two blurs fly past surprising them "Catapult!".
Ruby closed her eyes as the Death Stalker bring it's stinger down on her, only to feel a cold wind in her face and "You are so childish." Ruby opened her eyes as she looked up to see Weiss's back as she turns to her.
"Weiss...?".
"And dim-witted, and hyperactive, and don't even get me started on your fighting style." Weiss kept berating her as she sheathed her sword.
"Anything else?" Ruby turned to see Zoro walking next to her as he pulled the feather that was pinning her, as he gave Weiss a look.
Weiss cough in her fist as she blush a bit "And I suppose I can be a bit... difficult... but if we're going to do this, we're going to have to do this together." Weiss crossed her arms as she look away from them before sighing as she reached down to Ruby "So if you quit trying to show off, I'll be... nicer.".
"I'm not trying to show off. I want you to know I can do this." Ruby took her hand.
Weiss pulled Ruby to her feet "You're fine." Weiss says as she walks off but she still gave Zoro a look "We have to talk about what just happened." Zoro just shrugged.
Ruby sighs "Normal knees." she than looked to the two and notice all the feathers were cut down leaving a path to her "Wow." she then felt a cold wind blowing behind her and as she turned she looked stunned as she took a step back at the Death Stalkers tail frozen in place as well as the bottom half of the Grimm encased in ice "...Woah…".
"Ruby!" Ruby turned to see Yang hugging her and holding her tight "So happy you're okay." Ruby just hugged back.
Squawk!
The group looked up seeing the Nevermore flying around them "Guys? That thing's circling back! What are we gonna do?" Jaune asked as they regrouped.
Weiss walked passed him "Look, there's no sense in dilly-dallying. Our objective is right in front of us." she gestures to the remaining relics.
"She's right. Our mission is to grab an artifact and make it back to the Cliffs." Ruby nods to Weiss who nods back as she looked to the rest "There's no point in fighting these things."
"Run and live, that's an idea I can get behind!" Jaune agrees.
Ussop nods "That is exactly my idea! Too bad I can't show off my awesome powers, but oh well!" he boast.
"Your legs are shaking." Zoro points out.
"It's out of excitement!" Ussop retorts but didn't see Nora looking at his legs and boops it causing Ussop to slump to his knees "What was that for!?".
Ignoring this Jaune, Ruby and Luffy walked up to the relic and took the gold Rook, gold Knight and gold King respectfully, All three look to each other and gave each other a nodding smile.
"Time to go!" Ren says getting Ruby to nod.
"Right." Ruby then waves the others to follow "Let's go!" she run off as the others follow leaving only Yang to stay back and look at her sister.
Noticing this both Blake and Nami looks back "What is it?" Blake asked.
Yang just smile "Nothing." she says as she ran to catch up getting Blake to smile realization while Nami gave a bit of an envious look as both follow.
'This is the last mark, I swear.'
As the group run to make their way to the cliff they see the Nevermore flying over head causing the group to duck behind the ruin walls.
The Nevermore circled the ruins before perching on one of the pillars blocking the way to the cliff as it gave a roaring squawk "Well, that's great." Yang says annoyed by it.
SQEEEAAAL! The group turn around to see Boarbatusk break through the tree's giving another roar at the teens "Gyaaaa! Warthog!" Ussop cried and another crash through the woods came the Death Stalker breaking whatever remaining ice off it's shell, it gave a hissing cry getting Ussop to cry again "Gyaaaa! Scropion!".
The two Grimms see the teens and starts to charge at them "Ah man, Run!" Jaune says as the group ran out of their cover.
SQUAWK! The Nevermore cry as it sees it's pray as it took off after them "Gyaaa! Raven!".
Ren looks to "Nora, distract it!" shouts out.
Nora nods as she ran out in the open drawing the Grimms attention as it sends more arrow like feathers that Nora deftly jumped over, as she rolled she pulled her Grenade Launcher from her back and aim it at the Nevermore "Covering fire!" she shouts out gleefully as she fires out a volley of pink grenades that has a heart topped shell, all while giggling as she fires, the combination of bright pink flashes, loud bangs and hard impact caused the Nevermore fly between the ruins and out of the blast zone.
Seeing the path clear the group made their way though, while Nora kept the Nevermore at bay she didn't see the Death Stalker charging in until a blast stalled the Grimm causing Nora to look back in surprise seeing Ussop who looked scared but determined and before the Grimm could recover slashes from Ren and Blake knocked the Grimm back giving time for Weiss to run in and with the help of her Glyph grabs Nora and launched off to safety.
Seeing the it's prey has been taken away it turns to the three who took a step back getting Ussop to gulp the Death Stalker roars getting Ussop to cry out "Run!" as he took off with the others following.
As Pyrrha ran she noticed her fellow initiatives are being followed by the Grimm she turns and pats Jaune by the shoulder "Go! Go!" she pulls out Miló and provide covering fire for the others to past namely Ren, Nora and Blake who provide their own covering fire.
But before the others reached the bridge a spinning ball of bones and spikes separated Ussop and Weiss from the others, seeing the Boarbatusk swerve towards them Weiss stabs her Myrtenaster into the ground "White Crest" creating a giant wall of ice to sprout of the ground "Kalte Wand! (vant)" the Grimm crashed and grinds on the wall creating cracks in the wall "That isn't going to hold it."
"What are we going to do!?" Ussop shakes as he looks around "We got a Grimm in front of us and a cliff of certain doom behind us! How are we gonna get out of this!?"
But just as the Wall breaks "Santouryu, Gyuuki" "Gomu Gomu no" two blurs crashed into the spinning Grimm knocking it out of it's spin "Yuuzume!" "Bazooka!"
Both looked up to see "Zoro!" "Luffy!" both yelled surprised.
The Grimm flew back and knock into a pillar that collapse from the impact and made a makeshift bridge to the others "Hurry and go!" Zoro says as he tied his bandanna over his head "We'll keep porky here!"
"Shishishi, This is gonna be fun." Luffy chuckles as he winds his arms looking excited.
Weiss looked to the two incredulously "You can't be serious? You can't really believe you can take that on!" she said before Ussop grabs her arm getting her to look.
"I think they got this! Lets leave it to them!" Ussop says getting Weiss to reluctantly run over the bridge.
As Weiss made her way over to the rest did she notice the Nevermore coming towards her, with a gasp she quickly jumped, using her Glyphs to reach the rest of the way, while Ussop looks to the two "I'll leave this side to you, And I'll give my command over-" CRASH! "-there…." Ussop slowly look back to see the makeshift bridge gone leaving him stuck with the Grimm, dropping his jaw he gave a silent scream as he cried at being left behind.
With the bridge destroyed splitting the group Ruby, Nora, Yang and Weiss who landed with them fires at the Nevermore keeping it at a distance, Jaune who was knocked down looks up to see the others fighting off the Death Stalkers and them being pushed back "Man, we gotta get over there! They need help!" Nami who was also there nods in agreement as Jaune got back to his feet.
Nora hearing this grins "Lets do this!" she says surprising both teens.
"Yeah, but, uh…" Jaune took some careful steps to look over the edge "I can't make that jump.".
Nami noticed the grin Nora as she knocks Jaune down as she shift her Magnhild into its maul form "You can't be seriously…" Nami asked nervously as Nora just smiles as she ran ahead much to Nami's fear as she turns around just as Nora jumped and turned with her hammer reared back.
Jaune looks up but also notice this as he looked panicked "Oh, wait!" but it was too late as Nora slams Magnhild into bridge forcing it to break and launching both Nami and Jaune over "No, no, no!-" "-Save me!" both cried as they sail over the otherside.
Nora using the recoil from the blast she switched her hold to a reverse grip as she looks back over to the others, with one hand shading her eyes to see better she plant her feet on the maul head and pulled the trigger launching her over the side.
Nami who was flying was knocked off course by the blast but thankfully someone did save her as she felt a tug on the back of her clothes and than a pull she manage to land on a grassy floor, with a panting breath she looked at the person who saved her only to see the Boarbatusk "Kyaaaaaaaa!".

Ren manage to back flip away from the Grimms claws while Blake and Pyrrha provide covering fire keeping the Grimm at bay, they then hear a cry behind them as a flailing Jaune and Nora flew over head with Jaune landing on his face and Nora rearing her Hammer "Haiya!" Nora shouts as she slams Magnhild into the Death Stalkers head slamming it down, however it raised it's stinger ready to stab the girl who noticed so with a pull of a trigger Boom! Nora blasted herself back but it also caused the Grimm to stab it's tail down knocking Nora back and bump into Blake knocking her off the bridge.
While Blake fell she noticed the Nevermore over head so she twist around reverse hold her sickle like weapon which looks like a black handgun with the blade seemingly folded so the blade faces backward giving it a kama like look, as she rears back her weapon with a pull of the trigger she threw the blade and with the added recoil she manage to plant her blade into one of the ruin structure, with the black ribbon held tight she manage to swing her self right in front of the Nevermore.
The Nevermore cries out as it open its beak to snatch up Blake only for her to shimmer than disappear, it didn't have time to be confused as not a second later Blake slash its face now duel wielding her unfolded sickle showing it being a curved blade with a double edge on the upper blade, and a long thick dark gray cleaver like blade that has a rectangular hole near the top giving Blake a comfortable hold on the weapon these two weapons are Blake's Gambol Shroud.
With a flurry of slashes to the Grimms face she kicked off the bone mask giving her time for the Grimm to fly past and once she lands she ran across the Nevermore's back slashing along the way until she jumps off and landing on the ruin temple sheathing the sword into the cleaver than setting it on her back before jumping off regrouping with the others "It's tougher than it looks.".
"Then let's hit it with everything we've got!" Yang cocks her Ember Celica she and the others looked as the Grimm circles around ready to dive to them.
Ruby unfolds her Crescent Rose, Blake unsheathed her the sword of Gambol Shroud as it folds into it's Kama mode and Weiss spins her Myrtenaster until it reached the correct dust.
As the Grimm closed in the girls all fired their weapons.

Luffy saved Nami as she flew over to them but her panicked cry manage to cause Luffy to look up only to be batted by it's tusk however he recovered by grabbing a Pillar and swing back to the Grimm "What was that for!" he shouts as he kicks it back "Shishishi, Serves you right.".
Nami just gawked as the teen manage to kick the Giant Grimm back "What is up with this guy?" she thought as she pulled out her Climatact.
The Grimm gave a growling squeal as it got ready to charge three explosion redirect it's attention "Hahaha! No need to fear, Ussop is here!" before the Boarbatusk could charge three powerful slash pushed the Grimm further away from the group "Good work just as I ordered!".
Zoro just shouldered Sandai Kitetsu "This pig is pretty tough, its armor plating is as hard as iron and its fat is pretty thick making it hard to hit anything important." he then gave a predatory smirk around Wado as his eyes glowed red "That makes it worth cutting."
Luffy walked up with Zoro giving a chuckle as he stretched his body to limber himself up "Really? It feels like punching a rubber rock, it was really interesting." he then cracked his hands as he gave his own devil like smile "But it's still gonna lose, Shishishi.".
Both Nami and Ussop just stared at the two sweatdropped as the two looked happy to fight the Grimm, the two look to each other with the same thought 'I hope those two aren't going to be on our team….' a stomped got their attention as the four looked to the Grimm as it gave an angry squeal, Luffy just walked in front of the others chuckling with a smile.
"Hehehe, Lets go Yarodomo!"
