RWBY and the Strawhat Hunter.

Legends. Stories scattered through time. Mankind has grown fond of recounting the exploit of heroes and villains, forgetting so easily that we are Remnants, byproducts, of a long forgotten past.
A tall woman in the darkness spoke as she saunters across the room as with glowing red eyes looks down on a table with a chessboard like object on it as she picks up a piece.
Man, born from dust, was strong, wise and resourceful, but he was born in an unforgiving world. An inevitable darkness – creatures of destruction – the creature of Grimm – set their sights on man and all of his creation. These forces clashed, and it seemed the darkness intent returning man's brief existence to the void.
She then place the piece on the board revealing a black wolf skull piece across a gold piece.
However, even the smallest spark of hope is enough to ignite change, and in time, man's passion, resourcefulness, and ingenuity led them to the tools that would help even the odds. This power was appropriately named "Dust".
She sneered as the gold piece is a fire piece but she place another black piece showing a crow skull piece.
Natures wrath in hand, man lit their way through the darkness, and in the shadows absence came strength, civilization and most importantly, Life.
She says as she kept placing piece after piece a bear, a boar and a scorpion.
But even the most brilliant lights flicker and die, and when they are gone….Darkness will return.
With a final piece placed showing a dragon skull showing the single gold piece being surrounded by the black pieces.
So you may prepare your guardians, build your monuments to a so called "Free World", but take heed… there will be no victory in strength.
She smirks as she looks to her opponent showing a silver haired man wearing unzipped black suit over a dark green, buttoned vest and green shirt. He also wears black trouser shoes and long, dark-green pants, he also wears a small, purple, cross-shaped pin on the cowl around his neck. He was silent for a moment before he readjust his shaded spectacles as he looks to the woman "But perhaps victory is in the more simpler things that you've long forgotten." he says as the woman glares at him as he picked up two pieces and place them on the table, the woman paused as she saw what he put down before she scoffed "Things that require a smaller, more honest soul. And a will more free than the darkness can ever hold down." the man stood up and made his way out of the darkness as the woman with burning red eyes glares at the two pieces showing a silver piece with wings spread out and a gold piece depicting a straw hat.

(Mistral Fuusha village)
"I'm gonna prove to you I'm a man, Shanks!" Cried a messy black haired boy who is wearing a white tee-shirt with blue short sleeve and collar with an anchor print on his front and the word anchor on the anchor, he also wore blue shorts and a pair of sandals, and in his hand is a knife.
"Hahaha, What are you gonna do to prove yourself Luffy?" Shanks laughs he is a tall tanned man with a deep crimson hair he also has a light scruffy beard giving him a more roguish look he also has three scars on his left eye, he wears a white button shirt that is opened halfway, his sleeves are rolled up to just below the elbow he also wears a black cloak over his shoulder, he wears a gray brown trouser held up by a red belt and on his feet he wears a pair of black sandals, and on his red head is a yellow straw hat with a red band "You're too much of a chicken to do anything with that knife!" he says as he and his team laugh at the small boy.
Luffy grumble as he held the knife with both hands "Just watch me!" he shouts as he hesitate for a second before to the shock of everyone there he stabbed himself just below his left eye "IT HURRRRTSSSS!".
"OF COURSE IT DOES YOU IDIOT!" Shanks shouts out.
(Later at the bar.)
Laughter's ran out of the bar as Luffy just sniffles at his now stitched up scar under a band-aid on his face "It doesn't hurt at all." he says but everyone just laughed at him.
"Stop lying, your terrible at it Luffy." Shanks says as he poke the boy's head "You were crying as Makino was stitching up your eye." he said as he and his team laughed at the kid along with a dark green haired woman she is wearing yellow kerchief, an orange blouse with black sleeves and a long light blue skirt and orange sneakers with white soles.
Luffy smack his hand away "Stop treating me like a kid! I train everyday so I can be a Huntsman like you!" Luffy says as he punch his fist out "My punch is as strong as a pistol and I can fight any Grimm and win!" this got another round of laughter "Stop laughing!" Luffy snaps.
"Now now, no need to be so angry, here have a juice." Shanks says offering said drink which Luffy happily takes.
"Oh, Thanks." Luffy says taking a drink before everyone laughs again.
Shanks just bang the table in laughter "See you are a kid!".
"You tricked me!" Luffy snaps causing the others to laugh even harder "Stop laughing!" he snaps again but wouldn't causing Luffy to grumble "And I cut myself to show I'm tough enough to join.".
"Luffy you should understand how Shanks feels." A man says as he lit a cigarette he is a tall man with no eyebrows his long hair is tied into a pony tail with a strand hanging over his left eye, he wears a black short sleeve v neck tee shirt, a yellow sash holding up his green trouser that is tucked into combat boots "Being a Huntsman isn't something you ask to be, it is dangerous, we stake our lives every day so you can have a dream to be whatever you want." he smirks as he exhale some smoke "So no matter how much you beg he won't take you with him."
"But I'm strong and I won't get in the way, with my strong punch I can fight beside him!" Luffy object before pointing at Shanks "And he just likes to tease me!".
"Small fry." Shanks teased.
"SEE!?" Luffy says while the man just sweat drop over his leader being childish.
"I think you shouldn't encourage Luffy, Shanks." the green woman says as she brought over a barrel over to the group "I don't want to see him hurt himself again."
"I'm fine Makino I'm gonna be a Huntsman someday I'll defend you and everyone." Luffy says.
"Stop kidding yourself Luffy there ain't any combat schools in this town or the next." Shanks says "And there's no way you can handle it anyway."
"Don't care I'm gonna be a Hunter and become the Huntsman King!" Luffy says as he puff his chest.
Shanks just laugh "There hasn't been a Huntsman King since Roger, Luffy, and a weakling like you is not gonna be strong enough to be like him."
"Am too and I'm gonna be King just you watch!" Luffy shouts getting the others to laugh again causing him to pout.
Makino giggled "I'm sure the future King would like something to eat?".
Luffy lit up at the notion of food as he gave the Bar owner a big smile "OK! And when I get to be a Hunter I'll pay you back!".
"A small fry like you isn't gonna be one." Shanks teased.
"I am gonna be one." Luffy retorts "And once I've become a Hunter I'll pay her back with every lien.".
She giggled "I'll be waiting then." she says as she brought Luffy his steak which Luffy happily bites into.
"Shanks." Luffy says getting his attention while he is pulling the steak with his teeth "How long are you gonna stay?".
Shanks hum a bit "We made a base here for about a year." he says before looking to Luffy who finally manage to tear a piece of his steak "We're gonna stick around for few more days before heading up north.".
Luffy who manage to finish his steak is now eating a roll of bread "A few days huh." he said as he stuff the bread into his mouth and after chewing a bit he swallowed "Then I got a few more days to prove I can join!" he says.
"Not gonna happen." Shanks said monotone getting Luffy to shout he will getting the others to laugh at the childish banter, none of them notice Luffy finding a chest.
Shanks team were still laughing before someone broke the swing door causing everyone to look as sleazy looking man with a cross scar over his right eyebrow, he has greasy hair and a beard that cover his jaw and from his lower lip to his chin, wearing a brown coat with a yellow ring design on his left side he is wearing a white shirt underneath and gray trousers which is tucked into boots and around his neck is a gold necklaces, he looked around at the people inside before walking up to the bar "Excuse me." the man says as he looked at the group around him "He he….So those are these so called Hunters huh?" the man says as he and his men walked into the bar as he eyed everyone there "It's my first time seeing them, don't see what so special about them, they look pretty dumb to me.".
The man walked over to the counter shoving Shanks aside as he looks to the young Bar owner "We're Bandits from over the mountain, so we are a bit thirsty, you see." he says as he point behind him showing where they come from before he looked back to her "And we're not here to cause trouble, just let us buy 50 barrels of sake then we can move on from this little town." he orders.
Makino gave him a hesitant look "I'm sorry we are out of sake." she says getting the bandit to frown.
"Hmm? That's strange then what are they drinking then?" he says as he sneers at the group around him "Water?".
Makino looked a little scared "It's sake.. But that's the last barrel…".
"Oh sorry, looks like we finished all the sake. Sorry about that." Shanks said as he held up a bottle "Here, it's not much but here you can have the last bottle, it's not even open yet." Shanks says giving the bandit a friendly smile.
The bandit gave a him a silent leer as he looked to the held bottle, as he is about to grab the bottle until he clench his fist Smash he backhand the bottle breaking it and soaking Shanks in a process "Who do you think I am huh? Don't mess with me, you think one measly bottle is gonna be enough?" he says as he sneers at Shanks.
Shanks on the other hand looked down at the broken glass "Oh man, look at this mess." he says ignoring the bandit who was now boasting.
"Since you don't know who I am I'll enlighten you." he says as he brought out his scroll showing his face on the display "See this? This is my bounty post I'm an 8.000.000 lien bounty." he announce as he looked down to Shanks "Higuma of the Grisly Bandits, the biggest bandit tribe in Mistral, and I've killed 56 people who think they are man enough to chase me and my tribe out of Mistral. So don't get cocky with me, you bastard." he says as he leers down on Shanks who still stay silent "So now you know who I am, don't mess with us again do you understand?".
Shanks finally stood up and kneel down as he picked up the broken glass "Sorry about that Makino, do have a mop?" he says as he continue to clean up the mess.
"Ah... it's alright!" She says as she walked out of the counter to grab some cleaning tools "I'll clean it up!".
Higuma grab his sword and with a swipe of his sword Crash clatter he broke whatever was on the counter spilling the floor with broken plates, cups, bottles and whatever food and drink that was on it "Since you like cleaning so much, you can clean this mess." he mocked the man as he starts to walk away "Enjoy." he says before giving a mocking laugh along with his group "Hope we never meet again cowardly Hunters." was his last words as he laughed on his way out of the town.
Makino rushed over to Shanks who was slumped over worried him being hurt "Are you okay Shanks?"
"I'm fine, I'm fine." he waved off her concern as a tense silence hung in the air "Pfft.".
Laughter roared out of the Bar as everyone was laughing at how uncool there leader is getting said leader to laugh just as loud as he took off his hat "Why are you laughing!?" a shout stops them as they see an angry Luffy "That was so disgraceful! Why didn't you fight back!? What if he hurts more people?! Who laughs at getting picked on? You're not men you're not Hunters you are all cowards!".
Shanks and everyone was stunned silent but Shanks just smiled "Look Luffy I know how you feel but it's just a bottle of sake, nothing to be angry about." Shanks says as he puts his hat back on.
"Shut up!" Luffy says before walking away "I've got nothing to say to a coward!" Luffy fumed.
Shanks just grab Luffy's arm "Come on Luffy don't get bent out of sha...pe…." he trailed of as he watched said arm just stretch longer as Luffy walked getting everyone to spit out there drinks in surprise.
"Huh? What, what?" he looked around before he turns back to see his arm being longer than he remembered "EEEEEEEEEEHHHHH!?".
"Luffy's arm stretched!" Shanks shouts in surprise.
Luffy panics as he looked at his stretched arm "What happened to my arm!?".
One of Shanks team who is a large rotund man wearing a green t-shirt with white vertical stripes on it, paired by a matching bandanna on his head, short white pants with a dark green sash around his waist, green shoes with fur around the ankles and he wears a yellow goggles with red lenses over his eyes, found the chest left on the counter and when he checked "It's gone!" he says as he showed the now empty chest "The fruit we manage to get from the enemy is gone!" he turns to Luffy who is stunned and confused looked to the man as he shows a picture of a purple fruit with a swirl design to Luffy " Luffy you didn't eat this fruit by any chance!?".
"Ah...yeah I thought it was desert...but it tasted really bade though." Luffy says as he sweats from being put on the spot.
Shanks grabs Luffy by the shoulder getting Luffy to look at him "Luffy! What you ate was a devil fruit called the Gomu Gomu fruit it's one of the rarest fruits in Remnant! Whoever eats it will turn into a rubber man but you lose the ability to swim but also you will never be able to use your semblance ever again!".
"Eh." Luffy says as the information finally sinked in "EEEEEEEEEEH!? YOUR GOTTA BE JOKING RIIIIGHT!?".
"You Idiiiioooot!".
(Few Days later)
Luffy now wearing a different shirt that has red sleeves and collar, just sat on the stool finishing his juice "They haven't been back for a while." Luffy mumbles.
Makino who was cleaning the glass looked to the boy "Are you lonely Luffy?" she asked.
"No! I'm still mad at them." Luffy says as he looked at his cup seeing it empty with nothing to do he just bite onto the glass holding it with his teeth "What a letdown. I thought Shanks is a strong Hunter. But he was so lame.".
"Really? I thought he looked cool being able to laugh off after getting picked on is kinda brave." Makino says as she clean up the glass.
Luffy disagrees "That's cause you don't understand. There are time men must should fight back." Luffy groused getting Makino to laugh a bit.
"Oh? Guess I don't know then." she concedes.
"That's right you don't." As he says that the door to the Bar open causing Luffy to perk up as if he was happy to see who walked through only for to disappear.
"Looks like those Hunters are gone guess they really ran away." Higuma says as he waltz in along with his bandits who were snickering behind him "We're back, and hopefully you got those drinks you promised." he says as he gave the two a cruel smile as he and his tribe starts to take the tables "Hey! What are you waiting for we're customers! GIVE US SOME SAKE!".
(Fuusha village Mayor's house)
A man was busy financing the village finances grumbling about how one brat gave him such a headache as he starts to become the talk of the town for being the weirdest kid in the village "That darn Shanks always making things more bizarre every time he visits, at least look after your own kid." the man grumbled he is a short, wiry, bespectacled man with a beard stubble on his cleft chin. He wears a yellow button shirt, along with a red and white striped hat and pants, he sighs as he grabs a cup of tea and just as he was about to take a sip the door flung open showing Makino rushing in "Makino whats the matter?"
"Mayor! Luffy is-" she panted having rushed there "Luffy is in trouble! He was Kidnapped by bandits!".
(In the middle of town)
Luffy was flung into the ground before he was grabbed by his cheeks showing a missing tooth and was held up by Higuma while his bandits found his body to be funny "What a weird body." one of them says as another agrees "Yeah every time we kick and punch him, the little turd would just bounce back!" they just laugh at him like he was a toy.
"Damn it! Apologize right now!" Luffy demanded as he glared at the man holding his cheek as he stretched his arm hoping to punch the bandit leader.
Higuma just turned his head at the slow punch looking intrigued "Well, would you look at that, a rubber man guess the world holds more freaks than the Faunus, HUH!?" he says before slamming Luffy to the ground.
Luffy manage to sit up as he glared at Higuma "Damn it, you'll be sorry!" Luffy growled.
Intrigue Higuma looked at the boy "He really is interesting, wonder how much he would sell to the circus? Bet he would cost a fortune." he smirks as he gave the boy a cruel look.
Luffy pissed at the bandit grabs a piece of wood that was once part of a barrel and with a war cry he charged at him.
"Wow, what a tough…." Higuma starts as Luffy charged closer before he sees Higuma raised his leg "BRAT!" and stomps down on Luffy's face causing him to lose his plank of wood "We were just having a good time drinking and talking." Higuma says as he looks down at Luffy under his feet "Did we say something to piss you off?".
"Yes you did!" Luffy cries as he held Higuma's ankle trying to push him off "Apologize right now you bastard!" Luffy demanded as his eyes starts to tear up in frustration getting the bandits to start laughing at the crying child "Damn it! Move your foot! You damn bandits!".
"Let him go!" they all turn around to see the mayor panting from running to the scene "Please let him go he's just a child!" he pleaded as he got on his knees and bows "I don't know what Luffy did and I don't want to argue with you, I'll even pay you whatever amount of lien you ask for, But please let the child go…" the mayor begged as Luffy looked stunned at the mayor.
"As expected of the elderly, they know how the world works, they know where they stand." Higuma says as he looked down at the groveling man "And they know the proper way to handle every situation." he then looks to Luffy who was glaring back at him "But it's a little too late, this brat pissed me off so there is no saving him."he sneers as he starts to stomp on Luffy's face a couple of times saying "When a weakling starts mouthing off and demand me what to do, really pisses me off!" he finished his stomp with a grind as he sneers down at the brat.
"It's your fault, you stupid mountain monkey!" Luffy shouts out causing the bandits to go silent.
Higuma unsheathes his sword as he glares at Luffy "You know, I was gonna sell you off, but after what you said you leave me no choice." he says gravely as he lift his foot and stomps on Luffy's chest and placing the blade by his neck "It's a waste but I'm gonna have to kill you now.".
"Luffy!" Makino gasp.
"P-Please let him go!" the mayor begged.
"I was wondering where everyone went." they both heard a familiar voice as someone walked between Makino and the mayor "So this is why.." revealing himself as Shanks who is now wearing a cloak over his shoulder and a saber on his right hip "Aren't you the bandits from the other day?".
"Shanks!" Makino gasp not expecting him back so soon.
"Luffy, what happened to that famous pistol punch?" Shanks asked.
Luffy just cried out "Shut up!".
Higuma just sneers at Shanks "Oh, the cowardly hunter…" he turns to face Shanks not taking his foot off Luffy "Why are you here? There isn't any broken dishes for you to happily clean up, unless you want to go ahead and clean up this town?" he mocked as his bandits starts laughing at the Huntsman "I suggest you should leave or else we might open fire on you and anyone close by." Higuma warns as he gave Shanks a sneer.
Shanks undeterred just walks up to the bandits before one of the bandit held a gun up to his head "Hey didn't you hear the boss? One more step or I'll shoot."the bandit smirks.
"Once you pulled out your gun you better bet your life on it." Shanks says as the bandit looked confused, Shanks just points to the gun as he looked at him "This isn't made for threats." BANG!
Everyone was left stunned as the large fat man just shot the bandit from behind as the bandits body hit the floor the man took a bite off a large turkey leg.
"Yo-You bastards! Now you've done it!" the bandits starts to brandish there weapons as they looked to the Huntsmans "Damn it, that was dirty!".
The smoking man just looked at them "Dirty? Don't make me laugh you think we're saints or soldiers or something?" he says as he placed a hand on a rifle axe hybrid.
"He he he, well they might think we're knights." a tanned skin man with large pronounced lips walked up besides the dark haired man he wears a dark blue buttoned shirt over white trousers and brown shoes, he also wears a head band holding his curly black hair up with the word Yasopp on it.
Shanks just walked up to the bandits "The people standing before you are Hunters." he says as he looks to them "We aren't guardian of the realm but Hunters who hunt the nightmares who threatens it, and there is nothing we won't do to get our prey whether they are Grimm or Man.".
The bandits took a step back intimidated by the man "…..Sh-Shut up! This isn't any of your business!".
Shanks just gave them a hard look "You better listen well bandits, you can throw your food at me, pour your drink over my head, heck you can even spit on me." he said before he glares "But no matter what reason you have, the moment you threaten my friends I'll never forgive you!".
Luffy just looked stunned "Shanks…" he says before the man who was holding him down starts laughing.
""Wont Forgive me?" You bunch of hunters who go around playing hero want to challenge us?" Higuma says before points to them "Don't overestimate yourself you bunch of monster slaying wannabe's!" he shouts out as his bandits charged at Shanks "Doesn't matter how strong you think you are, there is no way you can beat the Grisly Bandit Tribe with such a small group!".
Shanks says nothing as the dark haired smoker walked past him "Let me deal with them." the man says as he pulled his weapon from it's holster.
"Don't over do it, Benn." Shanks says as Benn just nods as bandits got close Benn took the cigarette out of his mouth dodged the downward swing and put out his cig in the bandits eye, said bandit cries in pain as he was kicked back into the group, Benn took a step forward before swinging his axe rifle into the group breaking through swords and guns.
Higuma who was smirking at first soon looked terrified as one by one, ten by ten then hundred by hundred of his men were taking out by a single man who is now pointing his gun at him "Don't overestimate yourself bandits." he says as he lit another cigarette "You want to fight us, than you should bring more than an army." he says as littered on the ground were all the bandits unconscious or dead is anyone's guess.
Luffy looked amazed as was Makino the mayor and everyone in the village.
"W-W-Wait hold on this is a big misunderstanding, it was the brat who started picking a fight with us!" Higuma says hoping to reason with him.
Shanks just glares "It Doesn't matter. After all, didn't you say you have a bounty on your head?" Higuma panicked as he looks around to see the Huntsman group glaring at him, with no other way out Higuma throws down a smoke bomb blinding everyone.
"Come with me brat!"
"Uah! Let me go, you bastard!"
Was all they heard as the smoke clears showing Higuma gone along with "Luffy!" Shanks shouts before he starts to panic "Ah shit! We got careless! He took Luffy! What do we do!?".
"Get it together boss!" The rotund member tries to calm his leader down.
The head band man agrees as he looked inside a random barrel "He couldn't have gotten far, lets split up and look!".
While the others try to help look or calm their leader Benn just exhales as he looked to them "Haah, what a troublesome leader.".
(Out at sea)
"Ha ha ha ha! Looks like we got away!" Higuma boast as he looked back at shore as he and Luffy drift on a dinghy "No one would expect a mountain bandit to escape by boat!" Higuma says before he looked down at Luffy who glares at him "Well, I only dragged you as a hostage but since I doubt they would look over here your usefulness is now worthless.".
Luffy grits his teeth "Go to hell!" he shouts as he stretched his arms to punch Higuma but he just moved out of the way.
Higuma gave Luffy a cruel smirk before punting Luffy off the boat "Goodbye, brat.".
"Damn it! Damn it!" Luffy cried as he watched the bandits cruel smile as he watched Luffy fly off the boat "You called them cowards, but you didn't have the guts to fight them!" was all Luffy could say before a flashing back on how it all happened.
(Flash back to earlier the day)
Roaring laughter is heard as Higuma and his bandits were making a mess in the bar some throwing jugs on the ground after drinking, some throwing half eaten food on around and just basically making a mess "Remember the look on those hunters face?" one of the bandits says "He got that dumb look when he was hit by the bottle! What a gutless pansy!" that got the other bandits to laugh.
Higuma took a swig before giving his men an amused look "When I see worthless chickens like him it gets me really irritated, I really want to stick my sword in his neck, hunters aren't all that, just a bunch morons who tries to look cool, what a joke. HAHAHAHA!".
"SHUT UP!" someone shouts out getting Higuma to look behind him seeing Luffy "Don't talk bad about Shanks! He's not a coward!" he shouts at them as Makino tries to pull him back "Don't underestimate SHANKS!" SPLASH.
(Back to the present.)
Luffy tries with all his might to try to keep himself up in the water, but it takes more effort to do that as he feels like he's still sinking not helped as the bandit is laughing at Luffy's futile 'Damn it! I couldn't do it… I couldn't hit him even once…' Luffy laments before he sees something rising from the surface.
Higuma was still laughing until something rose up behind him, he looked back and he freeze in fear "W-W-What is that!?" Higuma said scared as a young Leviathan grim open it's jaws and eats the screaming bandit along with the boat he's standing on.
Luffy just watched stunned as he starts to feel weak but he watched in fear as the Grimm looked at him "Somebody…. Help!" he cried as the Grimm swam rapidly to the boy and breaking through the surface with its jaws open ready to eat the boy whole 'SHANKS!' Crunch!
Luffy opened his eyes before he starts to tear up as the one holding him is Shanks who glares at the Grimm "Get lost." Shanks said not raising his voice but its heard over the crashing waves, the Grimm just freeze in place as it looks to Shanks who glares, the Grimm quickly swam away as fast as it can leaving the two in the sea.
Luffy starts to sob as he held onto Shanks "Thanks Luffy, Makino told me everything." he says over Luffy's sobbing sniffs "Thanks for sticking up for us, c'mon Luffy men don't cry." Shanks says to Luffy with a smile.
"But…!" Luffy starts as he looks up to Shanks "..Shanks..! Your ARM!" Luffy shouts showing Shanks left arm is now a bloody stump causing Luffy to cry.
"It's just an arm Luffy, it's a small price as long as you're alive." Shanks says as he comforts Luffy who starts to wail.
(Next day at the port.)
"You're all really leaving this time?" Luffy asked now wearing a new shirt.
"Yep, we've cleared out the bandits and the surrounding Grimms, so it's about time we move on." Shanks says before looking down at Luffy "You gonna be sad?".
Luffy just smiles "Yea….But I won't force you to take me anymore, I'm gonna train myself some more and enter a Hunter school.".
"Bleh, I wasn't gonna take you even when you beg." Shanks pulled out his tongue before he starts to tease him "You don't have what it takes to be a Huntsman anyway, you're still a small fry.".
"I WILL!" Luffy retorts as he shouts out to Shanks's group "I'm gonna form my own Huntsman team and I'll become the worlds greatest Hunter who will free the world and become the Huntsman King!" he declares as the others smiles at the young mans ambition.
"So you want to better than us,huh?" Shanks says as he took off his hat then placing it on his head "Then, this hat is a promise." he says as Luffy looked stunned "This hat is my greatest treasure, so when you climb up to that throne, you'll return that hat to me." he says as Luffy just silently cries "That is our oath, Luffy." Shanks says as he made his way to the boat with his team following behind him 'He'll be a great Hunter just like you, Roger.'.
(10 years later)
"So he finally left, mayor." Makino says giving a sad smile at seeing him leave "We're going to miss him."
The mayor who is now sporting a beard and graying hair huffs "He was always a trouble maker, but at least we'll finally have some piece.".
Another villager laughs "I never thought he would be serious but he really showed me." he says as others just smiles as the young man set sail to the main land "We better hear great things, Luffy!".
(Out at sea.)
"Ah….The weather sure is great today." Luffy says on a dinghy he is now a lanky teen wearing a red button vest, blue jean shorts and sandals and on his head is the treasured straw hat, he kept rowing the boat with a barrel holding his supplies, Luffy just hums a random tune before the boat starts to rock.
Surfacing from the water was the Grimm that took Shanks arm all those years ago now a little bigger the Leviathan roars at the young teen "So you've come huh, I was hoping you would show up." Luffy says as he stood up "Time to show you what I've learn in the past 10 years!" he says as the Grimm got ready to eat him "Gomu Gomu no…." Luffy raised his left foot as his left fist reals back and with a stomp Luffy threw his fist out faster than the Grimm could react and harder than the Grimm could take, Luffy's fist broke through the Grimms bone mask destroying it's face "PISTOL!".
The Grimm's dissolving body flew in the air as Luffy's arm retracts back to normal "How'd you like that? Dumb fish." Luffy smirks as the Grimm splash into the sea dissolving until it's gone "I've gotten stronger." Luffy says before looking forward "Now I just needs to get to a port town with a bullhead than it's straight to Beacon" Luffy gave a wide grin "Yosh, I'll Become the King of the Huntsman!" Luffy declares with his arms outstretch before he starts laughing not seeing his ship heading to a whirlpool.
