Closest Friends
Brenda yawned as she threw on her robe, quickly tying it and hurried to her front door. She had no clue who could be trying to visit her at 3am in the middle of such a bad storm, but they were incessantly knocking.
Reaching the front door she began to unlock the deadbolt and chain lock. She inched the door open and froze. After what felt like an eternity of staring at each other she started to back away as the tears started to fall. "No, no, you can't be here. It hurts too much."
Dylan pushed the door open fully and entered and sat his duffle bag onto the floor. He turned around and closed and locked the door. He then went to approach Brenda who took more steps backwards and held her hands up hoping he would stop advancing towards her. "Please Dylan, don't come any closer."
At her request, Dylan stopped moving and locked eyes with her. In a low voice he asked her. "What hurts, Bren?" Trying to fight back more tears, she pointed at him "You hurt me."
As Brenda continued to cry she found herself telling him everything on her mind that she had been dealing with for quite awhile. "You said you were my closest friend, that you'd applaud me from afar, but you don't answer my calls, I hear nothing from you. You destroyed my friendship with my best friend. It killed me seeing you with her. Then you marry someone else and you don't tell me yourself. Why didn't you tell me? I gave you everything that I could, I supported you because no matter what I do I can't stop caring about you. I hate that I'm still in love with you."
She looks like she would prefer the floor to swallow her. It pained Dylan to see her like this, especially because he knows it's the truth. "I hate loving you Dylan, I get nothing back. Please show me you still care about me by leaving me alone, I can't take anymore."
Outside the thunderstorm raged with rain continuing to fall heavily. At that moment there was a loud thunderclap which caused both to jump slightly. In an attempt to approach Brenda again he moved forward with his left hand extended. Their fingertips had barely connected when he was shocked to hear something that could only be a baby crying. He searched her eyes and was about to ask her about the sound when Brenda's eyes widened and she turned rushing to a nearby bedroom.
Dylan followed Brenda to the bedroom,
but didn't dare to pass the doorway. He watched as Brenda reached into a crib and lifted a small little girl with dark hair up onto her shoulder. Surprisingly, calming the child started to calm Brenda where Dylan could get a good look at both of them. While studying them, Dylan thought about Brenda's words and realization hit Dylan and he found that his legs felt weak. He returned to the living room leaving Brenda in the bedroom.
Dylan didn't know how much time had passed before Brenda returned to the room. She was calmer, no longer crying, but Dylan knew she was still highly emotional by looking at her hands that were shaking. She leaned against the wall near the chair he sat in.
"I'm sorry I unloaded all that on you after what what just happened to you. If you need my support getting through that I'm here for you. What I'm dealing with is not even on the same level."
Dylan put his head in his hands, then looked up at her. "Brenda, please come here." She looked at him, then came closer where Dylan took her hand pulling her into his lap. He ran his hands through her hair taking a good look at her even though she kept her eyes downcast. She didn't want to make eye contact. He pulled her into a hug enveloping her tightly, she found herself returning the hug with the same intensity.
Dylan broke the hug by gently pushing Brenda back to where he could see her face. "I'm sorry I keep hurting you, I didn't mean to. I don't want to hurt you. Please know that. I understand why you didn't come home. I understand everything now and I still love you."
Brenda starts to move her head to where he could see her eyes. "You do?" Dylan nods his head while locking eyes with her. They stare at each other, both getting lost in the other's eyes and communicating their feelings to each other without words. He places his hands on her shoulders and pulls her toward him and their lips connect.
She responds to the kiss by running her fingers through his hair. Dylan pulls her closer and locks her in a tight embrace and deepens the kiss with tongue. They continue this way until Dylan breaks away from her to remove his jacket, shirt and Brenda's robe. He reaches for the bottom of her nightgown and removes that as well. He picks her up and places her on the floor. He starts to kiss her again, but this time starts at her ankle.
Brenda lays on the floor enjoying the feelings that Dylan's lips and hands are creating. He continues to inch up her body with kisses and touches. He is kissing and licking her belly and hips as he removes her panties. Brenda doesn't even have time to react before she feels her legs being separated and placed on Dylan's shoulders and his mouth is in contact with her most intimate area.
He doesn't let up until he hears the familiar sounds of her orgasm. While she is riding it out, he proceeds to work up to her breasts with his hands and mouth. He continues on to her neck and collarbone as her orgasm ends. He stops to look down at her face as she opens her eyes. She looks back at him and pulls him back down to kiss him again and it quickly turns intense.
As they are kissing, Dylan rolls over onto his back and Brenda settles on top of him. They only take breaks kissing to come up for air. Brenda sits up straddling Dylan and looks at him finding herself tongue-tied and at a loss for words. Dylan is not helping by touching every part of Brenda's body he can reach. Brenda leans down toward Dylan kissing him as she whispers "please stop with the hands, I can't get my thoughts straight."
Dylan starts to laugh as he puts his hands on her face holding her in place. "Ok, I'll give you a timeout." He places his hands behind his head and closes his eyes. After collecting her thoughts, Brenda stands up and collects her robe off the floor and puts it back on and quickly makes her exit to check on her baby.
She's standing their watching the girl sleep when she feels Dylan come up behind her. He gently slides her robe off her left shoulder and goes to kiss her neck. He works up to her ear slowly, while kissing and licking her ear he whispers "what's my daughter's name?"
Brenda turns to face him and tilts her neck to the side which he uses to his advantage to pull her closer to him and continue his assault on her neck and ear. Dylan moves his hands inside her robe and wraps them around her body while his mouth never leaves her upper body.
Brenda feels herself getting aroused again so she moves her hands down to Dylan's jeans. While working on them she starts pushing him towards her bed. After a gentle shove, Dylan falls onto the bed while Brenda looks down at him. "Her name is Christianne Michelle."
Brenda removed Dylan's jeans and boxers and crawls up Dylan's body while kissing him here and there. She reaches his mouth and as she leans in to slip her tongue into his mouth she softly whispers "We'll discuss that later, we have other things to do right now."
