As soon as we get more than one Peter in a scene, I'll use the number classification from later in the film, with the "Flash and Spider-Man" Peter a.k.a. Caitlin's Peter being Peter-4. Timeline wise for the other Peters; it's 15 years for Raimi Peter since the events of Spider-Man 3, so he's about 38 here (same as Peter-4) and 8 years since Amazing Spider-Man 2 for Webb Peter is about 28. The other 2 are taken from November 2021 (the release date of the film). Tad random to have Peter-4 be from 2027 while the other Peters 2021, but the spell in general was random, but I do think all the Peters, Frost, and the villains (including Eddie Brock and Venom) arrived on Earth-199999 at the same time.

Also, Happy 90th Birthday to Tom Baker, aka The 4th Doctor on Doctor Who (one of of my favorite Doctors on the show) and the Bendu on Star Wars: Rebels.

Chapter 8

"Oh boy."

Things were not good for Peter Parker's teenage doppelgänger. He then decided to spend the next few hours looking up the history of this world. It seems that from what Peter read, this universe is a mirror universe of Earth-616. However, this Peter was just a regular kid raised by his aunt and uncle, before he died in a mugging. It's then that Spider-Man started to make his appearance. He started out in a home made outfit, until he received a more professional version from Tony Stark aka superhero, Iron Man. This Peter also fought both Captain Americas (though one was Falcon then), saved his classmates from a damaged elevator in the Washington Monument, stopped Vulture from selling Avengers tech, and fought alongside the Avengers against an alien warlord named Thanos.

Recently, he went on a class trip to Europe.

Europe? And not just one city, they went to Venice, Prague, and London! Does that happen a lot in highschools in this universe? Sure he had classmates that went to Florence, Italy or Oxford in England during the summer, but that was in College for overseas programs and internships. Though Midtown School of Science and Technology is a pretty fancy school.

But there, this Peter fought monsters with a multiversal superhero named Quinten Beck, who went by the monicher, Mysterio. Yeah right, if Mysterio was a hero and from the multiverse, then Peter was the Queen of England. Most likely another deception (like the ones his Beck would do to him) and apparently he did a lot better than his Beck. Not only did he trick the rest of the world to believe he was a superhero from another universe, but he also discovered and revealed this world's Peter's identity as Spider-Man to the public, and made the public believe he attacked London with an army of killer drones from Stark Industries (even though Tony Stark stopped making weapons, with the exception of the Iron Man armors and Ultron). Peter also found blogs that debated if this world's Peter was evil and a wolf in sheep's clothing, tricking Iron Man or if Spider-Man is a hero and they shouldn't trust Mysterio, since he was a newer hero than Spider-Man.

But something in his online search was familiar to Peter that made him happy, the law firm of Nelson, Murdock, and Page. Sure, Matt wasn't a scientist, but if he was anything like his, he may at least get a couch to crash on.

"Call Matt." He asked his AI, Karen.

He only heard a few dial tones then the outgoing message.

"This is Matt Murdock, leave a message."

Peter hung up again, he knew Matt must've rejected the call, assuming Peter was spam. He called again, this time Matt picked up.

"Listen here, I don't have time to buy any crap, I'm late for a court case-" Matt Murdock angrily said over the phone.

"Matt, I'm not a telemarketer or a scam artist. I know you can tell from my voice pattern and heartbeat that I'm not lying when I say that I'm your friend and I need your help." Peter told him.

After a pause, Matt replied.

"Ok, you're not lying, but you could be crazy. You have one minute."

"I'm a doppelgänger of Peter Parker from another universe in the multiverse. I need help. I know where your apartment is in my universe, I can meet you there tonight."

After another pause and a sigh from Matt's side, "Fine, meet me there at midnight. Try to stay hidden-"

"Yeah, I know about your Peter's troubles, just saw he fought Doc Ock on TV."

"Who?"

"The guy with the tentacles. That's his monicher."

Matt sighs, "Whatever, I'll meet you tonight."

After several hours, Peter headed to Hell's Kitchen, towards Matt's apartment. He sees from the window that he's waiting for Peter, not looking happy. But Peter knows he can put him at ease. He jumps to the window and knocks on it to the tune of "Shave and a haircut." Matt then opens it to let Peter in.

"Okay, talk. You're Peter Parker, but you sound nothing like him and evidently you seem to know I can detect lies."

"I also know that even if I take off my mask, you can tell what I look like. But I still will, because I know you won't tell people that I'm Peter's doppelgänger and that you're the vigilante known as Daredevil. You were blinded by chemicals as a kid, but they heightened the rest of your senses. Your dad was murdered by a corrupt boxing promoter because he wouldn't throw a fight and you were sent to the Saint Agnes Orphanage. You then met a blind martial artist named Stick, who was really a member of the Chaste and tried to train you to fight a Ninja organization called the Hand. In college you met your Best friend and current law partner, Foggy Nelson, as well as another student of Stick, Elektra Natchios. You became a vigilante to save a little girl from being abused and became Daredevil to stop Wilson Fisk. I think I summed up enough of your history so that you know I'm telling the truth, plus from your ability to read me."

"Ok, you're telling the truth. How about you tell me about yourself?"

Peter then spent the next 20 minutes summing up his history.

"You don't think I'm crazy?"

"The only thing I'm dubious about is a teenage Jessica having a school girl crush, let alone on you. Maybe 15 years ago the idea of the multiverse would seem crazy, but after 2012…aliens coming from a portal in the sky, some being Norse gods, and then that stuff with Thanos."

"Yeah, spent most of the day reading your world's history."

"Foggy, Karen, Luke, Danny, and even my mom blipped. Yeah, she left my dad and became a nun."

"Yeah, I know that too. Just didn't want to seem disrespectful by bringing it up."

"Thanks, anyway, with Luke and Danny gone; Jessica, Colleen, and I had to protect the city, but even the crime then was barely anything. I'm glad the Avengers brought them back. As far as I'm concerned Spider-Man is one of them. I know he was telling the truth about Beck being the one who caused all that chaos in London. Peter is a hero. That's why he's my client. I trust him. And though a little crazy, I trust you too. What do you need?"

"I'd like to sleep on the couch, the street is less than appealing. I'd also like to get in contact with the Peter and May of this universe. They may know what's going on."

"You sure it's a good idea to meet a version of yourself from another universe? Won't that cause you or the world to explode or something?"

"No, I've met other doppelgängers before. It'll be fine."

"Unfortunately, I left their contact info at the office and I'm swamped with meetings and cases until tomorrow night, including one related to what happened with Peter."

"I'd like to get home to my wives as soon as possible, but I suppose I can wait it out." He sighs, "Any chance I get some food too? Been a few hours since I last ate."

"It's late, but I think Eddie's Pizza is still open for drunk college kids."

"Sweet! There's an Eddie's Pizza in this universe! Hopefully it's just as good as it is in my universe."

It was. After eating the Pizza, Peter slept on the couch that night. The following morning, the two men had breakfast before Matt went to the office.

"Stay here until I come back tonight. I don't have a TV, but you can use my laptop. Just don't download porn or a virus." Matt asked the hero.

"Oh please, I'm gonna give you free anti-virus, anti-malware and a free VPN for this baby, for life!"

"Ok, I'll get the contract info. Use your mask to text me when you're hungry for lunch and I can get something delivered."

After that, he left. For the first time since he got his powers, Peter had a day of lazing around and watching videos. Around late morning, Matt managed to get the contract info for his and his aunt's doppelgängers. Neither of them could get a hold of this Earth's Peter and May. Peter decided to not intrude and just wait for Matt to get ahold of them. As much as he'd like to get home to Caitlin, Crystal, and the kids, he's learned from Barry that there's a danger to rushing things.

It wasn't until around 6-6:30, that Peter got a news alert from the Daily Bugle, showing the doppelgängers of Doc Ock, Sandman, Electro, The Lizard, the Green Goblin, and Frost. But even seeing his wife wasn't enough, he saw the doppelgänger of his aunt had died on screen.

Peter knew he couldn't stay in Matt's apartment any longer. His doppelgänger needed him and he needed to find Frost. It couldn't have been a doppelgänger, because everything he found online told him that Caitlin Snow was dead and didn't have a twin.

Although, she could have been a clone. A few years ago, he had to deal with Miles Warren, a former STAR Labs scientist that Eobard funded that had an odd obsession with Caitlin. He later believed that Spider-Man and Frost were a couple. So he decided to clone the superhero couple. However, the clones weren't perfect and died after a few weeks. Miles was arrested for the chaos the clones still ensued. Team SpiderFlash then cremated the clones, giving them a proper funeral.

But Peter couldn't shake the thought that this wasn't a clone or another doppelgänger from another universe. She wore the same outfit from when she worked for Savitar.

The glow! He realized and began to think. She glowed for a few seconds before Savitar arrived. She must have been brought here too! But that glow was only a few seconds. Unless she was gone for however long and only a second happened on Earth-1! This must be the secret she kept from me! Can't wait to get back home and talk about all this with them.

He needed to find her. He didn't care if this messed with his own personal history. He had to find her. He texted Matt that he left the apartment and then proceeded to do so by climbing out the window. He spent the next few minutes searching the city, until he notices his doppelgänger in an alley. But his suit didn't match any of the suits his doppelgänger wore based on his internet search. If anything, it looked like the suit Batman made him. The one he wore until he and Felicity Smoak designed the suit he was currently wearing. He then noticed a bright circle made of sparks in the same alley and voices shouting "Peter!" coming from the circle. After a few seconds, his doppelgänger headed into the circle and against his better judgment, he decided to follow.

After going through the circle, he finds himself in a nice suburban home. He sees his doppelgänger, as well as the doppelgängers of Ned Leeds and Michelle Jones Parker. Sure, this was a doppelgänger and she and her Peter weren't married or members (let alone one half of the couple being the director) of S.H.I.E.L.D. But Peter remembered what they looked like from Crisis and Battleworld. The only one he didn't recognize was an elderly woman of asian or pacific island descent (most likely related to Ned) screaming at the new masked men.

"No, no, no, it's okay. It's okay. I'm a nice guy," Peter-3 said before taking off his mask, takes deep breaths, and speaks in a softer tone to calm everyone. "Okay."

"Who the hell are you?" MJ asks.

"I'm-"

"Peter?" MJ says as she notices Peter-4 (who's sudden presence surprises everyone else) behind Peter-3.

Peter still had his mask on and remembered from his internet search that his suit looked the same as one of the suits that the Peter of this universe. He then takes off his mask. Revealing that he also doesn't resemble their Peter Parker either.

"Yes, but not the one you were expecting." Peter-4 told them.

"That's not possible."

"This guy and I are both Peter-"

"Hey! Secret Identity, man!" Exclaimed Peter-3

"Sorry, Peter. But I'm Peter Parker and Spider-Man on my world and I'm guessing the same goes for you? My Spider-sense tells me you have the same powers as me."

"Yeah, he's right. I don't know what happened. But yesterday, I was…I was just here."

"Same for me. I know you don't believe me, because I don't look like your Peter. But this isn't my first rodeo with the multiverse and sometimes we look different in each universe. Like this Peter and I don't look alike."

"Wow, string theory, multi-dimensional reality, and matter displacement: all real?"

"Yeah," said MJ, Ned, Peter-4 in unison.

"Knew it!" Peter-3 says with a fist pump.

"This has to be because of the spell," Ned tells MJ.

""The spell?" Like a magic spell?"

"Great, once again magic messes with my life. Just tell me it wasn't John Constantine. The guy can be such an ass, even if he did save Sara." Said Peter-4

"Uh, there's no spell. No." Said Ned.

"No spell." MJ Tries to confirm.

"Magic's real here and your world too?" Peter-3 asks them.

"I mean-" Ned says.

"Shut up, Ned!" MJ says, interrupting Ned.

"No, it's not real."

"Shut up!"

"There's magicians, but no-"

"Stop talking! Stop. Stop."

"Same old MJ, doubtful and deeply mistrusting. It's what made you a good spy." Said Peter-4.

"What?"

"Yes, you're Michelle Jones and you're Ned Leeds. I've met versions of you two in a universe similar to this one. Only, Peter was raised by an agent of a spy organization called S.H.I.E.L.D."

"We had that too, but it was disbanded ten years ago because science Nazis called Hydra infiltrated it. But Hawkeye and Black Widow were members." Ned says.

"Shut up!" MJ scolds him.

"Same for our doppelgänger of that universe. But he brought it back and runs it now, with the help of you two."

"Don't people think he's a criminal like our Peter?" Ned asks.

"You mean Mysterio?"

"The wrestler?" Peter-3 asked.

"No, he's just a scientist who tricked people into believing he's a superhero and that this world's Peter hurt thousands. For some reason, lots of people here believe him even though he's saved the universe before."

"Yes! Thank you!" Ned exclaimed.

"Shut up, Ned! Though, you do make a good point. So you know about us. But just because you do, doesn't prove anything. We still don't know if they're Peter Parker or more villains to stop. One of them just killed May!" MJ exclaims.

"I know, I saw the Daily Bugle report." Said Peter-4 solemnly.

"I'm sorry about that, really. But I don't carry ID, you know. Kinda defeats the whole "I'm a superhero" thing. I don't have anything to prove I'm Peter Parker, sorry." Peter-3 tells them.

"I do. Karen, tell everyone here who I am." Peter-4 tells his suit's AI.

"Dr. Peter Snow-Parker: CEO of P.A.R.K.E.R. Industries, husband to Dr. Caitlin Snow-Parker and Crystal Frost, father of-" Karen lists.

"Wait, "Caitlin Snow-Parker?" you're Caitlin's Peter?" MJ interrupted.

"Yeah, I'm trying to find her." Peter-4 tells them.

"Wait, "husband?" Neither Caitlin or Frost said you were married to her. Just that you were her boyfriend."

"I was…," Peter-4 then took off his left glove, revealing his wedding ring, "...then I married her. Or, at least, them. The stuff with Killer Frost was years ago. Frost is now a hero and she and Caitlin both love me."

"You have two wives?" Peter-3 asked.

Peter-4 wants to be honest. But he knows at Battleworld a lot of people, especially some of his doppelgängers, have judged him for having two wives.

"Actually, Frost is Caitlin's second personality." Ned explains to Peter-3. "But seriously, dude, you married someone with a split personality, who you love and they both love you back? That's awesome!"

"Isn't that technically cheating?" MJ asks.

"No, they both know and agree to share me." Peter-4 says, not wanting to correct them that they are now two women separated by magic.

"You really love her…or them?" Peter-3 asked.

"With all my heart and soul."

"Seems like a tad unorthodox relationship. But, I'll help you find her…or, well, them." Peter-3 agreed. He knows he'd want help if the same was true if Gwen was still alive. "Also, did that voice come from your suit?"

"Yeah, that's my AI, Karen. My suit has a lot of tech in it."

""Karen," like from SpongeBob?"

"Yeah, I guess."

"Our Peter had an AI in his suit, named Karen too." Ned states, starting to like the Spider-Men.

"Interesting, but still not enough proof that either of you are Peter Parker." MJ says before throwing bagels at the two Spider-Men, before going into a defensive stance.

"Why'd you do that?" Peter-3 asks.

"I was trying to see if you had the 'tingle' thing."

"I have the "tingle" thing, just not for bread."

""Tingle thing?"" Peter-4 asks.

"You don't get a tingle letting you know if you're about to be in danger?" Ned asks.

"Oh!" Peter-4 realizes what they're talking about. "I guess it does tingle. But I call it my Spider-sense, since I can sense when danger happens."

"Oh, I like that! Can I use that?" Peter-3 asks.

"Sure, man."

MJ grabs another bagel and gets ready to throw it.

"Can you not throw the bread again?"

"Yeah, you'd have to throw it over a thousand times faster in order for it to be deadly enough to harm us and trigger our Spider-senses. At least throw a knife like in "Chuck.""

"Oh, I love that show!"

"Ned?" Ned's grandmother said in English before then saying something in tagalog.

"My lola says if MJ is going to throw a knife at them, make sure you catch them, not dodge them. She doesn't want holes in her walls." Ned translates. The grandmother then spoke in tagalog again. "She also says that she likes MJ and doesn't want her to pay for the damages with her college money and since you're both from other universes, you two more than likely won't have the money to pay for it."

"Ok, how about Peter and I just show other powers we have, like wall crawling." Peter-4 suggested.

Peter-3 nodded and then after a small jump, stuck the tips of his fingers of his right hand to the ceiling and hung there, while Peter-4 went the extra mile and jumped up and hung there in a squat position by all of his limbs. MJ still looks unsatisfied.

"Crawl around." She demanded.

""Crawl around?"" Peter-3 and 4 said in unison.

"Yes."

"No." Peter-3 stated.

"Yes, crawl around"

"Why do we need to crawl around?"

"Not good enough"

"This is plenty."

"No, it's not"

"Yes, it is"

"No it's not."

"Seriously? This isn't good enough for you?" Peter-4 said.

"No, crawl around." She says as she throws another bagel.

"Whatever, Alexander Hamilton. Plus you're wasting food! What do you want? I can tap dance mediocrely to "Seize the Day" from "Newsies" on the ceiling!" Peter-4 asks in an agitated tone at MJ.

Ned's lola then said something to them in tagalog.

"She's asking if either of you could just get the cobweb there." Ned translates while pointing to a part of the ceiling near Peter-4. "Since you're both, like, up there."

"I got it."

"No, I'll do it. I was here before you." Says Peter-3, who then goes all the way up the ceiling, goes past Peter-4 to the cobweb, and brushes it away.

"Thank you." Said Ned's lola in English.

Peter-3 then jumps to the floor and has his arms out.

"Are we good?"

"For now." Said MJ.

"Can I get down now?" Asked Peter-4.

"Yeah, sure."

As Peter-4 jumps to the floor to join his doppelgänger, Ned and MJ turn to each other as the sparkle circle finally vanishes.

"So, I opened the wrong portal to the wrong Peter Parker or in this case, Peter Parkers." Ned tells her.

"I think your portal was meant for him, since he got here first. I just saw him jump in from the rooftop I was on." Peter-4 says as he points to Peter-3.

"Shut up, this is a personal conversation!" MJ says hotly before turning back to Ned. "I guess we keep doing it until we find the real one."

"Ouch." Stated Peter-3.

"No offense."

"No, I get. Neither of us are your friend and you're trying to find him." Said Peter-4.

"Right," MJ says before turning back to Ned. "Okay, you got it."

Ned then has his right arm extended forward, while wearing something on his index and middle finger, while making a circle motion with his left hand while saying, "Find Peter Parker."

"What's the thing on his hand?" Peter-3 asks.

"Shh!" MJ quiets him.

"Find Peter Parker." Ned repeats while making the circle motion again. He then closes his eyes and repeats with more determination, "Find Peter Parker!"

The portal does appear, but behind Ned. The others turn towards it to see a man in his late 30s, in casual clothes step through, baffled by the portal.

"Great, it's just some random guy." Ned complains.

But Peter-4 can tell it's not. This is another doppelgänger.

"Hello," Peter-2 greets them. "Um, hope it's okay. I just came through this-" He turns to point at the portal, only to find it has vanished. "Uh, it just closed."

"You're Peter?" MJ asks. But unlike with Peter-3 and 4, she believes him. Perhaps believing that Ned actually found three doppelgängers of her boyfriend.

"Yeah, Peter Parker. I-I've seen you two-" pointing at Ned and MJ before noticing Ned's lola, who waves at him and he waves back with a smile. "Hi. Heh." He then turns to Peter-3 and 4, who are surprised by Peter-2. "Wait, they-they're not your friend."

The three Spider-Men stare at each other. Peter-2 fires web blasts towards Peter-3 and 4, all three jump and dodge them with Peter-3 landing on the dining room table and Peter-4 on the ceiling. Peter-2, who just lands on his two feet, sends web blasts to the right web shooter of Peter-3 and 4. Both men are impressed with Peter-2. The three men chuckle as Peter-3 and 4 head back to the floor.

"Wait, so you're Spider-Man too? Why didn't you just say that?" Ned asks.

"I generally don't go around advertising it. Kind of defeats the whole "anonymous superhero" thing."

"I said that." Peter-3 whispers.

"That's what he just said." MJ whispers.

Ned's lola then says something very long in tagalog.

"My lola's asking if you guys could clean up the webs you just shot." Ned translates.

"Oh, sorry, lola." Peter-3 apologies.

"Sorry about that." Peter-4 apologies.

"Yes, of course." Peter-2 agrees.

"I'm going to bed." Ned's lola says in English before heading upstairs.

"Night, lola." Ned replies.

"Good night, Ned's lola." MJ tells her.

The three Spider-Men then clean away the webs.

"Wait, back to secret identities, why did you tell us who you were with your AI?" Ned asks Peter-4.

"I did my research, plus the Spider-Man I knew that also knew versions of you two trusted you both." Peter-4 told him.

"You know other Spider-Men?" Peter-2 asks.

"Apparently, this isn't his first rodeo with the multiverse." Peter-3 says.

"Yeah, what he said." Peter-4 replies.

"Do you know how to send us back to our universes?" Peter-2 asks.

"My friend, Cisco, made devices, but I don't know how to recreate them, sorry."

"It's okay." Peter-2 tells him sympathetically, before turning to Ned and MJ. "This might seem kind of weird, but I've been trying to find your friend ever since I got here."

"Same, found the doppelgänger of Matt Murdock. He gave me Peter and May's contact info, but I couldn't get a hold of them."

"What made you think to get help from Mr. Murdock?" MJ asks.

"We're friends in my universe."

"And he agreed to help you?"

"Took a little convincing, but yeah."

"Well, we still need to find the Peter Parker of this world. I just have this sense that…he needs my help." Peter-2 says.

"Our help." Peter-3 corrects him.

""With great power comes great responsibility."" Peter-4 responds.

Peter-2 smiles at Peter-4's words. "Exactly."

"He does…need your help, that is." MJ relents, wanting to help her boyfriend.

"We don't know where he is." Ned tells them.

"And, um, honestly, right now we're all he really has left." MJ says, also sad that May died.

"Well, uh, is there someplace that he might go that has meaning to him? Like a place where he would go to just-?" Peter-2 asks.

"Get away from everything?" Peter-3 interrupts and asks. Peter-2 nods.

"For me, it's the top of the Chrysler Building."

"Yeah, on the eagles? That's a nice place to sit and look at the city." Peter-4 agrees.

"Empire State. It's a better view." Peter-3 tells them.

"That is a sweet view." Peter-2 agrees.

"I don't usually look out at the city to help me think. I usually go to parts of one of my headquarters, S.T.A.R. Labs. I usually go to the hallway, the pipeline entrance, or the speed lab. I know you guys have probably never heard of it and there isn't a version here, so not very helpful." Peter-4 tells them.

"No, but thanks for that. It could be helpful later." Peter-2 reassures him.

MJ starts thinking about where her Peter is and gets an idea. "Yes. Yeah, I-I think I know exactly where that would be."

A/N: I went with "Newsies," because it's a Disney musical film and "What If Universe" had Peter-4 in the Duet illusion with Kara instead of Barry and it established Peter-4's love of Disney musicals. Plus film Jack Kelly and Broadway Jack Kelly are played by actors who have also played DC characters (Christian Bale as Batman in the Dark Knight Trilogy and Jeremy Jordan as Winn on Supergirl). Last I checked, both versions were available to stream on Disney+.

I should note that I wrote this long before Marvel Studios producer, Brad Winderbaum, revealed that the Netflix show (though, now you can stream it on Disney+ instead) "Daredevil" (and possibly even the other related shows) are now canon.

And in case anyone asks, I did indeed reference the Doctor Who web short "Night of the Doctor" when Peter-4 introduces himself to MJ and Ned.

I referenced my friends from college, cause some got to go to Florence, Italy and another to Oxford University in England for internships or overseas programs.
