Two years after Ben Goodfellowe had left town, Mebh and Robyn were walking around with Kelly after having lunch.
"Mm, Beth sure makes a good steak," said Mebh.
"Having a restaurant to go to instead of having to cook for yourself is amazing," said Robyn.
"Sounds like it," came a familiar voice from behind them.
"Uncle Ben?!" asked a surprised Robyn as the three turned to face him.
"You're back!" said Kelly while hugging him.
"I sure am, and I have a few friends with me that I want you all to meet," said Ben before motioning to an elderly man with a long white beard and a young woman who had been standing behind him.
"I thought you said you wouldn't tell anyone about this place," said Mebh.
"Do not worry young lady, the two of us are not normal humans either," said the elderly man as sparks flew from his right hand.
"But we are also different from you Wolfwalkers," said the woman as a pair of wings appeared from her back.
"How did you…?" asked a stunned Robyn.
"It's a long story, which I would like to talk to Chief Liam and your parents about somewhere a little more private," said Ben while looking around at the people who had stopped what they were doing to look at the group.
"I'll head back to the den, you take them and Kelly to Chief Liam's house," said Mebh to her wife.
"You got it," said Robyn.
"Excuse me sir, but how did you make those sparks?" asked Kelly as the five walked to the Chief's house and Mebh ran off toward the gate.
"The name is Merlin my dear, and I'm a mage," said the elderly man.
"Those sparks were created by my magic," said Merlin.
"Wow, that's amazing," said Kelly.
"Oh if you think that was amazing then remind me to show you some of my true spells later," said Merlin with a friendly smile.
