This is my first story that I ever written. English is not my first language so this was harder then I thought.
The characters and the world is of course came from J.K. Rowling. This is just a small thing that popped in my head and thought why not? So here it comes, please enjoy.

Professor Minerva McGonagall paced back and forth in front of the entrance to the Slytherin common room, awaiting the arrival of the student Albus had sent for. She wondered about the purpose of this evening meeting and why the Headmaster deemed it necessary. As she began to walk back towards the entrance, the middle of the snake emblem on the wall shifted upward, revealing a hidden doorway. Stepping out from behind it was a tall, pale boy with dark hair cascading over his shoulders and eyes that seemed devoid of emotion.

"Professor, did you want to speak with me?" he asked.
Minerva regarded him for a moment before replying, "Yes, indeed. The Headmaster requests a meeting with you at the astronomy tower."
"And what might this be about?" he inquired.
"He didn't specify, but it appears to be important," she answered.

They made their way out of the dungeons towards the stairs leading to the tower's upper floors. The boy kept a slight distance, his mind racing with worries about why Dumbledore wished to see him. With each step, his anxiety grew tighter in his reached the stairs.
"He is waiting for you up there. I will leave the two of you alone. Go on Mr. Snape."-The Professor said then turned around to start to walk back where they came from.
Upon reaching the top, He found Dumbledore waiting. He greeted the student warmly, appreciating the view for thoughtful reflection.
"I wanted to talk with you Severus."-He exclaimed.
"But why here, Headmaster?" the boy asked.
"I find solace and clarity in this vantage point," Dumbledore replied calmly. "And indeed, a significant decision lies ahead for first allow me."
He took out his wand and as He waved,Severus heard the charm Muffliato and h9s eyes went wide.
The old man chuckled and said:
"Oh yes, Severus I know about your charm, quiet handy one, isn't it?"

The boy's apprehension grew as Dumbledore revealed the true purpose of their meeting: "The thing I wanted to talk about with you is Tom Riddle and his company."
The pale boy visibly became whiter.
"I... I don't know what you're talking about," he stammered.

Dumbledore reassured him that he knew more than the boy realized and proposed a daring plan: "I want you to join them as they wish but spy on them for me. I want you to became the first member of the order that will bring the fight to them"
"That's suicide, they will know I'm lying, and even if not why would I join you and betray the only peoples that accepted me for who I am"-shouted Severus.

Dumbledore reasoned with him, painting a grim picture of Riddle's growing threat to the wizarding world. "Snape you are an intelligent man you know that Tom soon will be the biggest danger we have ever seen. People like you or Lily won't be safe from him on the long run, and you know it."-He told Severus.,
"How will I keep secrets from Riddle for such a long time.
He will find out one way or other."-Asked Snape.
"I will teach Occlumency and Legilimency to conceal your true intentions from Riddle."-Explained the old man

The boy's mind raced with doubt and fear, but Dumbledore pressed for an answer, knowing the urgency of the situation.
The tension in the air was palpable as Severus Snape stood before Dumbledore, grappling with the weight of the decision laid before him. The offer to spy on Tom Riddle and his followers, to become a double agent in the brewing conflict, was a daunting proposition. Snape's mind raced with the potential consequences of such a choice.

"I... I need time to think, Headmaster," Snape finally uttered, his voice strained with uncertainty.

Dumbledore nodded understandingly, his eyes twinkling with a mixture of sympathy and determination. "Of course, Severus. Take all the time you need. But remember, the longer we wait, the more perilous the situation becomes. Tom Riddle is not one to be underestimated."
Snape swallowed hard, feeling the weight of the world pressing down upon him. The prospect of betraying those who had accepted him, albeit begrudgingly, was a heavy burden to bear. Yet, the thought of standing idly by while darkness consumed the wizarding world was equally unbearable.
"I'll... I'll give you my answer soon, Headmaster," Snape replied, his voice barely above a whisper.
Dumbledore gave him a reassuring nod before removing the Muffliato charm with a flick of his wand. The distant sound of the Hogwarts grounds drifted up to the astronomy tower, a stark reminder of the world beyond their clandestine meeting.
"Remember, Severus," Dumbledore said softly, "sometimes the hardest choices require us to sacrifice the most. But in doing so, we may yet find the light that guides us through the darkness."

The room was suddenly filled with the resounding echo of loud knocking.
"Professor, are you there?" A small, uncertain voice belonging to a young lady pierced the air.
"Come in," replied a voice that resonated with depth and confidence.
As the door creaked open, the girl cautiously entered. She wore her uniform, without her tie and robe, secretly hoping her teacher might overlook her Gryffindor affiliation.

"Did I came at the wrong time Professor?".-She asked.
"No, just reminiscing, Miss Granger," responded Severus, his tone carrying a weight of solemnity. "Do you understand why you're here?"
Hermione was confused.
"Am I not here for detention, sir?"
Severus stood up from behind his desk, and pinched his nose as He started to march up and down in the room.
"Yes and no. When you joined the Order and consulted Albus Dumbledore on how to contribute, he saw fit for you to assist me in potion-making as an apprentice. An arrangement I am not particularly keen on sharing. However, orders are orders."
The girl visibly became smaller as Severus towered over her.
"I'm sorry sir. I did not wanted to cause any inconvenience f..for you"-She barely managed to say.
Severus looked at the girl. She somehow reminded her to Lily.
"Miss Granger, as we'll be spending considerable time together, it's essential for effective learning that you master communication with me," he emphasized.

Little did he know the profound truth behind those words, a realization that would only dawn on him years later.
"Sev are you ready? I don't want to be late again"-a voice echoed from the entryway of the house.
"I'm coming, I'm coming. I miss the times when you were too afraid to talk to me."-Exclaimed Snape.
"No, you don't. You adore me," Hermione Snape teased, flashing a smile.
He kissed her tenderly. "Yes, I do," he affirmed softly.
With that, they closed the front door and strolled hand in hand towards the Apparition point.

The story just grown, and I don't really known where it's going until I finnished. I really hope you enjoyed it.
See you all maybe next time.
