Meanwhile, back in Damien's hideout…
Damien entered a dark room, locking the door behind him, and took a deep breath. "Alright…let's do this." he psyched himself up as he sat down, pulling out a tome with the Mark of Chaos upon its cover, opening it to a page covered in inhuman language.
Steeling himself, he began to chant the damned words upon the pages, causing four different portals to appear in the room, each one showing a different daemon upon it.
After finishing the chant, Damien cleared his throat. "Good evening, gentlemen. Sorry to call you on such short notice, but-"
"SPARE ME YOUR PUTRID WORDS, WHELP!" roared the being in the first portal, a Bloodthirster with half of his face burned away, showing a bleached skull underneath. "OR I WILL FIND THE HOLE YOU HIDE IN AND TAKE YOUR SKULL!"
Skarbrand, the Exiled One
Bloodthirster, Former Servant of Khorne
Damien flinched at the Exiled One's words, before he recomposed himself. "What, and cause you to miss out on the deal of a lifetime?"
"We know of what you speak." spoke the right head of a two-headed bird-like daemon with a staff in his hands. "You speak of Ursun, isn't that right brother?"
"Yes. We have seen Be'lakor's plot. We know of his plans." the other head agreed.
Kairos Fateweaver, Oracle of Tzeentch
Lord of Change, Servant of Tzeentch
"Oh, how delightful..." a bloated Great Unclean One said jovially. "If Be'lakor has struck, there'll be plenty of carrion for me."
Ku'gath Plaguefather, the Rotting Poxmaker
Great Unclean One, Servant of Nurgle
"Yes, yes." Damien nodded. "And I'm sure you know that the armies of Kislev and Grand Cathay are heading into the Realm of Chaos to rescue the God-Bear. But what you may not know, is that they're getting help from the Hero Alliance."
"Spare me your power plays, child. I already know of their assistance." a Keeper of Secrets hissed in a seductive, yet threatening tone. "Don't be shy. Share your desires with me.~"
N'Kari, the Arch-tempter
Keeper of Secrets, Servant of Slaanesh
"Yes, well…considering your gods and I have a deal, I was wondering if perhaps you all could…give them a proper welcome to the Warp?" Damien asked.
"And what would you be willing to give in return?" N'Kari asked. "Your soul, perhaps?~"
"Not quite." Damien shook his head. "I know how to get to Be'lakor and Ursun. You all get rid of the Hero Alliance and friends, and I'll tell you how."
"And why would you do this, little healthy Antichrist?" Ku'gath asked.
"Well, it gets rid of the biggest obstacle to our plans, and both of my political rivals in one big swoop. And you all can split Ursun's parts between you. It's a win-win situation." Damien said.
"The Bear is tempting." N'Kari mused.
"With the eyes of a god…we could see all. Could we not, brother?" Kairos's left head asked its counterpart.
"Yes…Past, present, and future. All will be revealed to us!" the right agreed.
"A dying god…a fine corpse with which to brew a mighty plague. A god-pox!" Ku'gath laughed. "Oh, you tempt us, Thorn."
"I do my best. Skarbrand?" Damien asked. "This whole thing falls apart without a Khorne horde."
"KEEP YOUR SKULL, KNAVE. GIVE ME THE BEAR." Skarbrand growled.
"Good. They'll be entering the Warp within the week. That should give you plenty of time to prepare." Damien said. "I'll leave you all to it. I've got some work of my own to accomplish."
With that, the Antichrist chanted another verse within the tome, closing the message portals shut, before he let out a breath he had been holding. "Phew, talk about a dangerous gamble. Now…let's get to work."
