The Hinanawi estate was in an uproar. All around there was crashing of lightning, shouts for backup and screams of getting to safety. And in the thick of it all was John, who was being flanked by Tenshi.

"Really John, did you have to start fighting them?!"

"Sorry, but I don't take kindly to those who insult my loved ones. And besides, you just punched several of your own guards in the face and you threw at least one woman through a wall!"

"That's different...Chiaki had that coming for quite some time now."

"Well you got your revenge on her so what now, why are you still helping me?"

At this Tenshi couldn't help but smile just a bit "Honestly…? It's kinda fun, also it serves as a good showing of just how poor our defenses are. No doubt living it up easy here in Heaven has really dulled their battle senses."

She let out a tut as if she were a mother disappointed with her children "I'll have to talk to Father about having the guards train more."

"They're over here!" shouted a guard who had found them despite all the rubble, without thinking the guard hefted up a spear he'd been carrying and charged directly at John

Getting into a fighting stance, John quickly made a single hand sign before a large shuriken manifested in his hands. Without missing a beat he threw it directly at the guard, the shuriken hitting the guard head on causing him to crumple to the floor in an instant.

"Hey so...by the way, you aren't...killing them when you do that right?" Tenshi asked

"I'm holding back. Barely." John replied as several more guards appeared,

"Charge men!" the leader of the group yelled

"Tch." John proceeded to this time make several hand signs in quick succession before summing a large red and orange frog that belched fire at the group before disappearing. While it had felled them all in one shot, it had also caused the domino effect of setting the area on fire.

"Crap, dad isn't gonna like that." Tenshi mutters "Come on, we need to get out of here!"

"You sure? I still feel like hurting a bit more of them."

"John come on, you've made your point. Now let's go!"

The two began to make their way throughout the ruined abode. The fighting had been fierce...sort of. It was mostly a one-sided massacre in John and Tenshi's favor with a lot of collateral. As a result, the way they'd came was mostly in ruins and they had to go the long way around. Traveling through one of the less ruined corridors the duo circled around the entire area until they reached a garden area. Despite all the chaos this particular area hadn't been ruined at all. It was actually pretty serene and relaxing even with all the surrounding destruction.

"F-found them! I'll subdue the man corrupting Lady Tenshi!"

Okay, now these guys were just making up stories in their heads. Probably to help them cope with the idea that Tenshi was backing him up.

John withdrew his daggers, preparing to fight while Tenshi merely called forth a small fist sized stone. It hovered next to her threateningly before she sent it flying towards one of the guards. Despite how small it was, the person it hit was sent flying back across the garden. Even with that, the others didn't stop charging still. John ran forward to meet them, his daggers clanging against the spear of one of the guards. The man struggling against him...but well, John didn't really struggle against him at all. It was like Tenshi had said, these guards weren't used to fighting at all and as such their skills had decayed or maybe they'd never really developed at all.

He parried the attack from the guard, blocked another attack that came his way, and easily kicked a third one away from him.

Tenshi was quick to follow up behind him attacking with more stones to keep the attackers from overwhelming John. More guards piled in, John and Tenshi making quick work of them all with several blasts of lightning, fire, thrown shuriken, and several more rocks.

Even as they kept knocking them down, more and more appeared doing their best to take the two down.

"Keep them held here, back up will arrive soon!" one of the guards shouted

"Back up? If it's anything like the rest of these guys, that'll be easy." John chuckled darkly "I could do this all day!"

"Please don't jinx it...I don't like that they mentioned back up."

"Who could they call?"

As if on cue, a celestial being floated down from above. His descent was slow, the sun radiating behind him giving him a magnificent glow, in his right hand was a sword of pure white, that matched his equally white armor. Pure white wings flapped from his back as stray feathers fell to the ground. The only difference in color were his eyes which were a dazzling blue and his hair, which was jet black.

"Oh crap...one of them…" Tenshi muttered

"Tenshi what am I looking at? Is that a literal archangel?!"

"No, if this were an archangel we'd be dead. No, this is a Principality. One of the western transfers I'd wager."

"Transfer?"

"Yeah, all the different sectors of haven routinely have transfers. North, South, East, West, this sort of thing is normal."

"Okay, that aside, can we beat him?"

"I dunno...he may be only a Principality, but he's still an angel, a step above a celestial like me. I'd normally say it's not looking good, but thankfully I know a Godslayer." she said with a wink

"You're putting a lot of faith in me you know."

"You're saying you can't impress? There's a girl watching you know!"

"Well...I guess I can't do badly now that you've mentioned that."

"Silence the both of you!" The Principality said, his voice reverberating throughout the area "You have sullied the ground of heaven and as such you will face proper punishment!"

"Yeah well, your denizens of heaven decided to insult my wives and I did what any self-respecting husband would do."

"Be that as it may, to raise a hand against those of Heaven is folly. For that you must repent!"

"Tch, bring it on then!"

The Principality with a mighty flap of its wings soared towards John and Tenshi at an incredible speed. So fast was he that John barely had the time to move out of the way, just barely avoiding the sword he'd brought in a downward stab towards him.

Seeing an opening, Tenshi withdrew her own sword and brought it to meet the Principality's own, the two swords clashing and causing a small shockwave to shake the area.

"Child of the Hinanawi Clan...you would stand against me with this interloper?!"

"Now normally I wouldn't, but I think John has a good point with this whole thing, It's about time some people heaven, or at the very least those in my employ learn to respect mortals and be wiser in not throwing such venomous words so callously."

"So be it then. You will both receive divine punishment!"

Taking the chance, John quickly made two more hand signs before shooting a blast of fire from his mouth, the attack causing the Principality to recoil a bit. Following up on that, John attacked with his daggers, trying his best to get at whatever opening he could find. Unfortunately, the Principality was faster than he looked and quickly blocked whatever opening he had.

"You're not a bad fighter." He said to John with a small nod "But it will not be enough to defeat one blessed by the lord!"

John could only laugh inwardly at that, technically speaking he was blessed by a goddess too. Or whatever it is that the mother crystal counted as.

The Principality struck at John again, only narrowly missing his mark as Tenshi shoulder tackled him as John landed a kick to his side. The attack didn't have too much effect, causing the Principality to barely move back, although it was enough to get him out of range. Tenshi again followed behind John, using whatever opening he made. The Principality stopped her attack though, finding an opening of his own and slashing at Tenshi's side, some red staining the celestial's white dress.

"Tenshi, you okay?!" John exclaimed alarmed

"I'm fine, I can walk something of this level off!"

"Okay, let's keep at it!" John said with a nod

The two of them ran towards the Principality who in response took to the air, looking to get some distance between himself and them. However, John made more hand signs before calling down a bolt of lightning to bring the Principality back down to the ground, he plummeted towards the ground, the other two getting ready to meet him for a followup attack, only for the Principality to regain control of his descent and stop himself in the nick of time, reorienting himself and bringing his sword up in a haphazard slash, that grazed John's side.

He leapt back, touching the side where he'd been hit. The chainmail had done its job for the most part, blocking most of the damage, but he could still feel a slight bit of warmth where he'd been hit. A small bit of red on his hand showed that he was indeed bleeding if only slightly. Looking at his HP, he was still in a good spot and it was regenerating. Slowly, as it did whenever he was in combat like in the game, but still regenerating all the same.

Before he could act again, the Principality raised its sword to the sky. It began to glow an even more radiant white than it had been before. Bracing himself for a sword attack, John was instead surprised when a blast of pure light engulfed his body. It ripped at his clothes, ripping it almost completely, and leaving his chest bare

"Arrrrrrrgh!" John shrieked in pain, it was only thanks to Tenshi beaning the Principality in the head with one of her stones that he wasn't knocked out from that attack.

"John, are you okay?!"

He looked at his HP, that'd taken off at least half. It was all he could do to just fish out a potion and restore some of it, but even then that wasn't by much.

"I definitely can't take another one of those. Angels hit way harder than I expected."

"Then we just have to hit him harder."

John nodded, no matter what, Tenshi was right about that.

"Listen, you hang back and support me. I'm a celestial, I can take these hits way better than you can."

As much as he wanted to correct her on that, he currently wasn't on one of his tank jobs so he couldn't refute her words.

"Fine. You tank, I'll spank."

"What…?"

"Uh...lingo from the outside world, don't worry about it."

The talk between them was cut short as the Principality regained its composure and once more moved to attack the duo with Tenshi blocking his attack as he got close. She leapt out of the way quickly as she saw another bolt of lightning from John strike the target.

The Principality didn't let that deter him though and redoubled his efforts, infusing his blade with more holy energy before driving it into Tenshi's stomach after catching her off guard with a feint."

"B-bastard!" Tenshi growled as the blade, now slick with blood was torn from her body. Despite this, Tenshi was still standing and retreated next to John.

"A-are you okay?" John asked in an alarmed voice

"I've had worse, I'll live!" she spat back, some blood oozing from her mouth

"Drink this, it'll ease things a bit!" John replied , fishing out another potion and handing it to her. Tenshi, didn't bother questioning anything and downed it. The pain she felt in her body lessening somewhat.

If things were more calm, she'd point out how something like that would do wonders and could be sold for a pretty penny, but that would have to wait.

John was already on the move, he made more hand signs before a circle of jagged ice appeared below the Principality driving into his legs and causing him to grunt in pain as he tried in vain to move.

"All you Tenshi, lay into him!"

"Right! I didn't want to do this, but it looks like I don't have a choice." Not wasting this chance, Tenshi took her sword and drove it into the Principality before quickly pulling it out.

"Don't worry, I won't kill you, but you should know what the Sword of Hisou can do."

"T- The sword of-you wouldn't!" The Principality exclaimed

But Tenshi already was enacting her plan. All she needed was a bit of the Principality's spirit energy. The energy began to swirl and collapse within the Sword of Hisou, the sword reforming and reshaping itself until it was no longer the bright orange it had been before, but was now a terrifying black, upside down crosses adorning the blade.

"No...you can't!" The Principality exclaimed in fear as it began trying to break free of the ice that had kept it in place.

"Don't worry, I just need you to go to sleep for a while!" Tenshi shouted as she brought the sword down in front of her, as a wave of dark energy washed over the area, all of it engulfing the Principality as they let out a scream of pain. This continued on for several minutes before the Principality slumped to the floor defeated.

"Is he gonna be okay?" John asked

"He'll live, I only used a little bit of power to defeat him, we should be fine for now. Let's get out of here and regroup."

"Right, let's fall back and-"

The words died in John's throat as he looked up at the sky. To say the sun was blotted out was wrong. There was simply no way such a thing could happen given their current location, but what John and Tenshi did see was a noticeable blot of black coming towards them at an alarming speed. All of them(from what John could make out) wearing the same sort of pristine pure white armor that the Principality had been wearing.

"Shit, looks like more are coming, John can you keep going?" Tenshi asked

Letting out a sigh, John shrugged "Not like I have much of a choice and I doubt we could run away fast enough."

"Huh, thought you'd be afraid of dying."

"The solution to that is simple: Don't die."

"You talk big, let's see if you can back it up!" Tenshi smiled

"Yeah, same to you." John replied smiling back

The swarm of angels was about ready to descend upon them, swords at the ready and prepared to bring down divine judgment upon the two of them.

"Oh no you don't!" came a familiar voice

Looking behind him John saw Flandre as she threw her weapon Lævateinn towards the group of angels. While many dodged, just as many were too slow and were downed instantly by the attack.

"F-Flan!" John exclaimed, dropping everything and running over to her and draping his arms around her, the rest of his lovers appearing behind her.

"Y-You're okay! All of you!"

"Heh, of course we're okay! You thought we'd be in trouble?" Yuugi laughed

"B-but, I got a message from Tenshi's father that he had taken you all and-"

"And you came barging into Heaven to save us? I have to admit, even if we weren't in trouble it warms my heart you'd do such a thing." Yukka giggled "Now then, I assume we've to got some angels to murder?"

"Looking that way." Yuugi said with a crack of her knuckles "I've been looking for a good fight."

"W-wait, no stop!"

This time the voice of a man caught John's attention, a man with similar hair to Tenshi's stumbled in front of him. He looked like he'd been put through the wringer. He had bags under his eyes, was sweating profusely and his clothing was drenched in sweat.

"Who are you…?" John asked

"Dad!" Tenshi exclaimed running over to him "What the hell dad! Why did you kidnap John's family?!"

"That's your dad?!"

"I am indeed. I am Lord Hinanawi and-"

Before he could finish his words John had the man gripped by his collar and lifting him off his feet.

"Where the hell do you get off kidnapping my fiancees and dragging them here?!"

"I-I-!"

"You know how worrying that is?! Especially when this place, as I've found out is terribly racist to people who live on earth regardless of if they once lived there themselves, including your own damn guards?!"

"W-Well-"

"And because of you now we're staring down a bunch of angels!"

"John, calm down!" Sanae said placing a hand on his shoulder "It's okay, we're safe and nothing bad happened! In fact, Mr. Hinanawi helped Flan!"

John simply raised an eyebrow at her words, silently waiting for her to continue.

"Well, Flandre is a vampire, and of course Heaven isn't the best place for someone like her to be. But Mr. Hinanawi was able to get a talisman made by Lady Tsukuyomi to allow Flan to survive here."

John craned his head towards Flan, who indeed had a talisman sitting on her neck with what looked to be a pure white gemstone in the middle. He went back to looking at Tenshi's father who quickly nodded his head, which calmed John down enough to let him go, though he continued glaring at him, not breaking eye contact at all.

Not having realized that he'd been holding his breath, Lord Hinanawi, coughed a bit before speaking.

"I'm...truly sorry about abducting your family. I truly did not mean to cause trouble, in truth it was merely a ploy to have you return my daughter to me posthaste."

"Tenshi? Why did you think I'd kidnap her?!"

"W-well...it's a bit complicated. You see, my little girl there is on punishment. You see, she has a habit of sneaking down to the surface and causing trouble among the denizens there. In this particular case, she ran into you and from my understanding you both went down into old hell?"

John nodded at this, tilting his head towards Tenshi with a small glower, which caused her to look away in shame.

"Yeah, I heard it's rough for people from Heaven to visit?" John replied, turning back to him

"Yes well…I was mistaken in my assumptions of why you'd taken her there. I assumed you'd well...engage in some debauchery."

"Debauch-you thought I was gonna assault your daughter?!"

"W-well...we did a check on your identity and…" he trails off looking over at his lovers, which even John had flinch at.

"Okay...I see your point. But I wasn't going to do that, we were just hanging out...and running from the guards."

"Right...I understand, that aside, Tenshi you should apologize to John, look at what you've done, your fooling around has caused a great amount of trouble this time!"

Tenshi flinched at his words, and with the look of a scolded child spoke to John "Sorry John...I didn't mean to lie to you, I had just heard about you and thought you'd be interesting to meet…"

John sighed "Well, did I live up to your expectations at least?"

"Oh definitely, you're one of the most amazing humans I've ever seen, right alongside that shrine maiden and the witch.

"Well, glad I could measure up at least."

"Now hold on, I believe we are definitely owed several things for this entire mess. We were spirited away from our home. Our husband to be was forced to travel to Heaven to rescue us and on top of that all he ended up in a fight with agents of Heaven. Not to mention the insults that were hurled our way by people under your employ."

By this point the group of angels had all landed, realizing that the fighting (at least for the moment) had stopped. They were all still gripping their weapons hard though, waiting for John or one of the other members of Favor Trade to make a dangerous move.

"This man attacked the denizens of Heaven, regardless of his reasons, that is grounds for punishment." One of the angels said with a commanding voice. Kaguya looked at Tenshi's father who quickly stepped forward, understanding what one of her requests was.

"Please great angels. I beg that you let this matter slide. This was my mistake and my men were the ones who insulted John Graham's loved ones and as such I wish to settle this matter by my own hands." he finished his words, bowing deeply to show his sincerity.

The angel that had spoken up was quiet for a few moments before finally speaking. "Very well...we shall leave for now. However, we will be reporting this to Lady Amaterasu, ultimately as this is her heavenly domain, she will have the final say."

"I understand and thank you Lord Angel."

The angel merely nodded before flying upwards and away from the area, the others following behind. Everyone present stared as they flew off, with only Yuugi pouting.

"Dammit...I kinda wanted to fight them."

"I'd much rather we didn't." Medicine said "I don't think even my poisons could harm angels."

"And I doubt I'd be much help either." Kogasa added with a nod "We got out of this pretty well all things considered and John is in no state to be fighting. Just look at him, his clothes are wrecked!"

"Can't say I hate the look though~!" Yuuka giggled "Yes...I quite like the 'damaged from battle' look."

"Anyyyyyywaaaaaaay…" Kaguya cut in "I thank you for that Lord Hinanawi, however, there are other terms we require for us to be placated."

"A-and that would be?"

"Well...as you know we are to be wed soon. I think it would only be fair if you were to foot the bill for that."

"W-what?! But that's- he's marrying you all yes?"

"Not me." Said Medicine "We're just friends."

"A-and not me as well!" Youmu said with a blush "I-I am merely working with him at the behest of Lady Yuyuko."

Everyone stared disbelievingly at Youmu before Kaguya began to speak again. "Be that as it may, surely an affluent person of Haven such as yourself has enough funds for that?"

"I...suppose I can allocate some funds for that. I suppose we'll be in touch in regards to that?"

"Oh most of the planning is done, really just have to pay the appropriate parties. You're welcome to come yourself. A dignitary of your standing would be quite nice."

"I-I couldn't…"

"Nah, you totally should, I'm bringing the good booze. Top shelf stuff." Yuugi said with a grin

Surprisingly, this caused Lord Hinanawi to rub his chin in contemplation, seriously considering the offer.

"Perhaps I will…"

"Marvelous. Truthfully, I think that's all we need to placated really...well, besides returning us home?"

"Of course, I can definitely do that much."

"Great, then we're all-"

"Not so fast, I think you're being too generous." Tenshi cut in "I think considering all that's gone on you deserve a more fitting prize."

"And that is…?" Kaguya asked, her eyebrow raised inquisitively.

"Me. I offer myself up as a wife to John, to help smooth things over properly between all parties involved in this mess."

"WHAT?!" shouted everyone in unison

"T-Tenshi, you can't do that! John is already to be married and to give you to him would…"

"Dad, despite how I act, I am an adult already. Wouldn't it be good if people here found out that the Godslayer was your son-in-law?"

"W-well…"

"And besides, everyone wins this way: I get to go to the surface as much as I want without breaking rules, You get someone who will undoubtedly keep me in line, and John gets another beautiful woman to call his own and you get some grandkids down the line."

"Well...I do miss the days of when I held you in my arms…"

"See? All good."

"Not all good, we didn't agree to anything!" Youmu exclaims "R-right?"

Ignoring that Youmu was clearing including herself, Kaguya spoke up again "Ladies, huddle up, impromptu meeting!"

All 7 of the women quickly huddled together, all of speaking in hushed voices while occasionally looking back at Tenshi, who by this point had sidled up next to John.

"So...think they'll let me join the group?" she asked

"Uh...I don't know? What about you? I didn't think you'd be one to share."

"I'm not against it, so long as the parties involved aren't terrible. Your lovers over there don't seem so bad. Especially that green haired one...I get a good feeling about her."

"Yuuka? She's pretty nice. A little scary when she wants to be."

"...Sounds fun."

John couldn't help but think that he was getting a good idea of Tenshi's particular tastes...and that he totally wasn't against it so long as he got to join in.

Gensokyo really was getting to him.

After another few minutes, the girls all turned around and looked at Tenshi.

"After much deliberation...we accept your offer Lady Hinanawi." Kaguya said

"Please, just call me Tenshi."

"Very well, Tenshi, we accept you, however, you'll be on a trial."

"Trial?"

"Yes, we'll...see how well you get along with everyone. If we and John approve then we'll formally accept you to be a fellow sister-wife. You'll have your own wedding at a later date."

"Sister-wife?"

"It's a name they came up with to call themselves." Medicine shrugged "I mean, they may as well be sisters with how they get on sometimes."

"Well, I'm not opposed to a trial run, I'll just spend however long it takes to win John over."

John let out a long sigh, while he wasn't against the idea, he was already wondering just how hectic his home would get with Tenshi there. Time would tell, but for now, he was just happy to finally be going home. He'd had enough of Heaven for a lifetime...though with Tenshi around he'd probably be back again sooner or later.

You know originally I wasn't going to have Tenshi permanently join on, but she's another character I've always found to be fun and can have pretty entertaining interactions with other characters. To be blunt, I went 'fuck it' and decided to make her a permanent addition. Also, we're coming to the end of this particular 'arc' so to speak. In other words, that wedding is gonna be soon...and it's gonna be fun~! Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed the chapter. See you next time!
