Transformers Prime: No Autobots Are Idiots.
Chapter 139: A Knight's Tale.
(Transformers Prime Universe #192,394,596,203,495,867,019,183, Monday, April 30th, 2011, third person POV...)
In the Autobot base, at the crack of dawn, Flashtide, Saber Rex, Counterbat, Tailpunch, Heatvoice, Worldfist, Tideripper, Ripflasher, Crashbreak, Heatbeam, Cometbam, and Blightvoid were at the computer, and they finally found the source location of Flashtide's dreams: getting ready to Ground Bridge onto Broadside's vehicle mode in the middle of the South Pacific Ocean.
Just then, the Wreckers, Bumblebee, Corvowing, his bird family, and Galvatron came into the command center.
Bumblebee asks, "What's going on here?"
Blightvoid answers, "Ever since Flashtide's previous time using almost all of his Energon to transport our forces to Cybertron, he's been getting the same dreams of a voice from a giant underwater temple in the bottom of the Mariana Trench saying to him, '"The Knight must prove his worth here."' Flashtide is planning on having us Ground Bridge onto Broadside's aircraft carrier mode to go to the temple underwater, and we have Optimus' permission."
Bumblebee nods and volunteers for Ground Bridge duty.
The away team goes to the location.
Later, in the Mariana Trench, Flashtide walks into the entrance of the temple, but then, it closes behind him.
Outside, Bulkhead sees something incoming and he shrieks, "Argh! Sharkticons!"
Inside the temple, Flashtide comes across writing on the wall, and he says as he reads it before saying, "The only way to leave this temple is to pass the Trials of the Mind, Body, Spirit, and Soul. Then, you will be given the chance to enter the reward chamber. Well, might as well get started."
Flashtide's trials consisted of centering his mind to focus on the mission being completed at 100%, then stressing his body's powers to withstand beyond its maximum absorption of damage, then centering his spirit to use his magic powers without any side effects, and lastly, centering his soul to purify itself of any lingering dark parts that can make him liable to getting controlled by Unicron or Megatron if they infused him with Dark Energon.
It took fifty minutes, but Flashtide succeeded.
He then got a box full of Energon seeds and a sword mixing the appearances of Rhisling, Riptide from Percy Jackson, Defender from Monster Hunter, Durendal, and the Star Saber from Transformers Armada.
Flashtide then heads out and destroys the Sharkticons, noticing all the while that the sword was pulsing like a spark beat.
Flashtide then mentally communicates with the sword, and through a series of images and words mixed in Neocybex and English, he learns that this sword was designed by Belus' first blacksmith, Crossgrit, to be used as reinforcement for Solus Prime's Forge when she forged the remaining relics of the Primes to defeat Unicron.
And now that Flashtide has found the Crying Razor Longsword, he has been chosen to be the new leader of every Knight of Cybertron, including the Ancient Dinobots and the Guardian Knights of Iacon.
In the Autobot base, Optimus looks over the Longsword, and he says, "You have done well, Flashtide. I hereby promote you to Leader of the Knights."
Everyone cheers at this, and Flashtide sheaths his new weapon.
The End.
