A week after the others had left for Camelot, Bill was standing guard on the wall.

"That can't be good," thought Bill, who noticed lanterns heading toward the town in the distance. He then rang a bell, calling everyone to the wall.

"A large group is heading for the town, everyone to their stations!" said Bill to the town's people which included some that were in human form while others their wolf bodies. By the time the group had arrived, Bill was waiting at the gate.

"Are you the head of this town?" asked a man covered in armor riding a horse.

"I am," said Bill.

"We have been sent here by the church to hunt any creatures of Satan, open the gate at once so we may conduct our search," said the man.

"Well I'm afraid you'll have to leave," said Bill.

"Our town does not recognize the authority of the church and will not allow you to bully us into letting you inside," he said while placing a hand on the sword that rested on his hip.

"How dare you!" said the soldier as he hopped off his horse and started walking toward Bill while drawing his own weapon.

"I warned you," said Bill before he whistled. All of the Wolfwalkers then jumped over the wall, taking the soldiers by surprise while those in their human forms stood up on the wall and began shooting arrows at the army.

"Creatures of Satan, I knew this town was swarmed by them!" said the leader.

"We are just people who were living in peace till you arrived!" said Bill while the two exchanged blows with their swords.

"Like I would believe a monster that has forsaken the Lord!" said the leader as he went to strike. However, Bill managed to dodge before slicing into a weak part of the man's armor around his stomach.

"May the Lord have mercy on your soul," said Bill before rushing to help the other wolves who were doing their best fighting the soldiers back.
