Back at the LaBouff mansion, Mom and Dad were still looking for us.
"Lori? Lincoln?" called Dad.
"Luan? Leni?" called Mom.
"LJ, are you under here?" Dad called while looking under the table.
"Looking for someone?"
The sound of Mr. LaBouff's voice caused Dad to bump his head.
"Uh, Eli! You haven't seen the kids around here, have you?" he asked while getting up from the ground.
"Not since last night, I haven't." replied Mr. LaBouff. "Is something wrong?"
Mom and Dad looked at each other worryingly.
"Well, we just feel kinda guilty for being so hard on them." said Dad.
"You see," added Mom. "The Fenners told Tiana that someone else outbidded her for the sugar mill."
"And Lynn Jr. just...made things worse by going crazy on them." concluded Dad.
"Oh, I'm so sorry to hear that." Mr. LaBouff said with sorrow. "Why don't we look for them together on the way to my fitting?"
Mom raised one of her eyebrows. "Your fitting?"
"Well, I am the Mardi Gras king, five years running." explained Mr. LaBouff. "In fact, I am hereby appointing the both of you as my advisors. That way, we can enjoy the parade and look for your kids at the same time."
"What about Charlotte?" asked Dad. "Isn't she coming to help?"
"She insisted on keeping our guest company." replied Mr. LaBouff. "Besides, I wanna surprise her in the morning."
While Mr. LaBouff led Mom and Dad back inside the mansion, Charlotte and Naveen a.k.a Lawrence were sitting at the gazebo, drinking champagne.
"I am positively mortified you had to endure that...frog fiasco last night." said Charlotte.
"Well, my dear," said Lawrence. "When one is next in line for the throne, you're poised like a panther, ready to pounce on the unexpected."
As they snarled playfully at each other, Charlotte asked. "Uh, what's wrong with your ear?"
"What about my...ear?!" Lawrence said, feeling that his left ear was getting bigger.
He ducked down to see Naveen's blood draining from the talisman, gasping. "Oh, no!"
Lawrence, then, sat back up, chuckling nervously. "Must've been those darn mosquitoes. I swear they're...they're everywhere."
He grabbed Charlotte's hand, pulling her to the center of the gazebo.
"Miss LaBouff, I can no longer ignore the throbbing of my..."
As Lawrence tried to speak, he felt his butt growing bigger, saying quickly. "...heart."
Charlotte tried to look behind, but found herself twirled by Lawrence, who went on to say. "Even though our time together has been brief, it's been heavenly!"
"Land sakes alive!" Charlotte said while adjusting herself. "You got me blushing like a...OH!"
Thinking fast, Lawrence buried his changing face onto Charlotte's skirt while asking. "Would you do me the honor of becoming Princess of Maldonia?"
On hearing those words, Charlotte pushed Lawrence away, feeling flabbergasted. "Are you serious?"
"As the plague." replied Lawrence, who had just covered his mouth with his shirt.
"Yes! Oh, I most definitely will marry you!" Charlotte cried, hugging the imposter, who keeps changing rapidly.
"Oh, there's so much to plan!" thought Charlotte. "I mean, the guest list, the dress, the music, the flowers, the shoes..."
She, then, let out a squeal, for an idea just came to her. "We're gonna have ourselves a Mardi Gras wedding!"
While watching Charlotte skip towards the mansion, Lawrence let out a sigh of relief, for she didn't suspect a thing.
But his relief turned into fear when he noticed Dr. Facilier behind him, pulling the talisman closer to see that Naveen's blood had completely drained out.
Once again in his normal form, Lawrence asked. "Now, what do we do?"
"Because somebody let our froggy prince go last night," Dr. Facilier said, glaring down at him. "I'm reduced to asking for help from...the other side."
