After eating breakfast with Sakura, Naruto heard someone knocking at the door and went to open it. "Granny Tsunade! What are you doing here?" Naruto asked, looking surprised.

Tsunade then let herself inside and sat at the table, crossing her legs. "I have a mission for you and Sakura, and I will pay you well." Tsunade said.

Naruto sighed. "I have to take care of my baby, Himawari."

Tsunade smiled. "I'll take care of the little rascal while you're away. This mission is crucial and I believe only you, Sakura and Rock Lee can properly handle it." Tsunade said as Lee entered the kitchen.

Lee smiled. "I have come as you requested, Lady Tsunade."

Tsunade smiled. "Thank you. Now listen up all three of you. Yesterday, the Akatsuki attacked Gaara of the sand village, trying to extract Shukaku from his body. Luckily someone saved his life in time. He's in the hospital now in critical condition. I want you three to protect his life at all costs! If the Akatsuki manage to gain Shukaku's power, I fear it could mark the end of the world." Tsunade explained.

"Oh c'mon, don't exaggerate. Trunks could easily defeat any sort of demon, believe it!" Naruto said.

Tsunade sighed. "While I don't doubt that. The damage Shukaku would inflict on the world would be too great! We can't afford to take such a risk. So now go and protect Gaara in the sand village. Here is a map of that village, I've circled the location of the hospital he is in. Joining you there will be Tamari and his brother." Tsunade said handing Naruto the map.

"Uh, shouldn't Trunks, Vegeta and Goku also join us on this mission?" Naruto asked.

Tsunade sighed. "Son Goku is busy selling flowers for a living, Trunks is working on another important assignment and Vegeta... um well..." Tsunade said, blushing, not wishing to reveal the fact that she was keeping Vegeta all to herself. "Anyway, it's up to you three to protect Gaara. So good luck and Lee, try not to piss Gaara off if he sees you. I know you two have sort of a rivalry going on since childhood." Tsunade said recalling the chunin exams.

Lee nodded firmly. "I will protect Gaara with my life."

Naruto smiled. "Always the humble one."

Sakura chuckled. "You're a good person, Lee."

"I, uh, try to be." Lee said.

Naruto smirked. "Let's go then!"

They then arrived at the hospital to see Temari waiting for them.

"Did you bring Trunks-senpai?" Temari asked.

Naruto sighed. "No, he's busy on a mission. I wonder what that is."

Temari smiled. "Let me take you guys to Gaara's room. He just woke up." Tamari said leading the way through the hospital.

Then they walked in to see Gaara who had an eye missing from his face. "Naruto Uzumaki and... Rock Lee! What the hell is he doing here!" Gaara yelled holding a grudge against Lee.

Lee sighed. "Can't we just forget our past?"

Gaara smirked. "Never! You were lucky to have been saved by Zabuza back then, but our fight isn't over yet! Once I recover, you're so dead!"

Lee sighed. "Okay... so who attacked you?" Lee asked.

"I didn't catch his name, he was blonde and could throw powerful explosions, he also had that witch Towa with him! She fucking betrayed me! They were wanting to take my powers away! Good thing my sister Temari saved my life." Gaara said as he cried a tear. "One day, I shall destroy that witch Towa! Nobody messes with me and my people." Gaara said.

Then Sasuke and Towa appeared outside the window of the room.

Towa wickedly smiled. "Today you shall kill Naruto and Sakura! I've seen your future already, my sweet Sasuke." Towa said as she kissed him on the lips. They seem to have gotten together.

Sasuke smirked. "Yes! I shall kill every single hidden leaf ninja! Starting with them, then I'll go after Kakashi, then Tsunade, and then every last one of them! I do this for the death of my clan!" Sasuke shouted, not realizing they had heard him in the hospital room.

"S-Sasuke!" Naruto shouted opening the window.

Sakura looked shocked. "I can sense he's gotten so strong now!"

Sasuke smirked. "Give me more power, Towa!"

Towa nodded. "Take Dabura's sword and slaughter them!" Towa said as she handed him the dark sword of the demon king.

Sasuke smirked. "Come out and face me like a man, Naruto!" Sasuke shouted as he flew down to the ground.

Naruto followed him. "Sasuke... this isn't right! We don't have to be enemies!"

Sasuke smirked. "You shouldn't have closed the door at me back then. Today I shall kill you, Naruto!" Sasuke said as he quickly disappeared from sight.

"Where'd he go!?" Naruto asked not noticing Sasuke rushing at him from behind.

"DIE NARUTO!" Sasuke yelled.

"No! Naruto!" Sakura yelled trying to fly as fast as she could to help him.

"Leaf Hurricane!" Lee shouted as he kicked the shit out of Sasuke, saving their lives.

Sasuke grunted in pain as he struggled to stand back up.

Towa looked shocked. "How can this be possible!? I've already seen the future!"

"The darkness shall never prevail against the light." Jesus said to her.

"Darn you, Christ! This isn't over! I still have Itachi and many more puppets to play with! I shall win this game!" Towa yelled.

"Is everything a game to you? Naruto Uzumaki shall be the one to destroy you, Satan!" Jesus said.

Towa chuckled. "We shall see, Christ!"

Meanwhile, Orochimaru was spying on all of them nearby. "Hmm... that witch is talking to herself, probably insane. As for Sasuke, soon he shall be mine!"

Sasuke then attacked Lee.

Meanwhile, Gaara was watching them from above. "Temari! Go help those fools fight Sasuke Uchiha! I must leave now, I have more important business to attend to." Gaara said as he flew away with his sand.

"Here I come Naruto!" Sasuke yelled swinging the sword back at Naruto.

This time Naruto was ready and jumped over it, calling forth, "RASENGAN!" Naruto blasted Sasuke away.

Sakura looked worried. "Sasuke... please stop this! Don't you see how wrong this is?" Sakura asked holding in tears for the one she once loved so much.

Sasuke smirked, wiping the blood off his lips from Naruto's attack. "You will all die!"

Naruto sighed. "Why can't you just let it go! You suffer because of what happened to your family! But don't you see that we all suffer? Pick up your cross and forgive others! That's the right way to live." Naruto said.

Lee gave a thumbs up. "Naruto Uzumaki is right! God still loves you, Sasuke! Give up on your evil ways and return with us to the leaf village! Do you think your family would had wanted to see you doing any of this!?" Lee asked in anger.

Sasuke chuckled. "I HAVE NO FAMILY!!! DIE!!!" Sasuke yelled as he pierced Lee in the stomach with the sword.

"NO LEE!!!" Naruto and Sakura yelled as they saw Sasuke murder him.

Lee cried as he fell to the ground. "Go... od... bye... S-Sakura..."
