Before the chapter starts I want to let anyone know that Osiris the War god has changed his name to Anubis the God King if you want to contact him for any reason and to let everyone know that the co-creator is still the same.

Chapter 6 Getting help and meeting with the past

10th August 1993, Grimmauld Place, London

Harry wakes up and just as he sits up in his bed Sirius also wakes up. They walk to the kitchen together and see that Hedwig is on the perch in the kitchen and Dobby is preparing bacon strips.

The moment when Harry sits Athena slithers in before using the chair leg to climb up to Harry's shoulder.

Athena sis for about half a minute and Harry says "sorry Athena."

Sirius says "what did Athena say, Harry?"

Harry says "she wasn't happy I didn't wait until she could slither up my leg and arm but also that I didn't wake her. She says she was happy she did it on her own but wanted me to do it."

Sirius says "oh well she is here anyway. Is she hungry?"

Harry sisses then Athena's sis and Harry says "no she is not."

Sirius says "Harry there is a small change of plans. I actually thought Gringotts would be the next stop but as I was discovered by Amy, Minnie and Dora I think we better can go the Andi first. She is one of my cousins. ….. oh yes Nymphadora yesterday, you know when she gets mad I called her that. She is Andi's daughter and you always called her Nymfie although I don't know if she allowed you to call her that again."

"I remember she always said even though you to call her Tonks but you kept calling her Nymfie. Once she got mad at you and you just kept smiling and kept saying Nymfie it took less than a minute before she stopped being mad at you and she said and I quote 'I can never stay mad at you my little Harry' end quote and she immediately picked you up and hug you with a huge smile on her face and you always had a smile saying Nymfie."

"Andi you always called Andi. If she hasn't changed too much she will still allow you to call her that I mean I did too before I was sent to Azkaban and I was older than you at the time. I think she will be so happy to help you. Also, she is our best shot to not let you go back to the Dursleys next summer. I cannot officially become your guardian as I am an escaped prisoner and as I got no trial I am not an escaped convict. Andi can with my signature as your official magical guardian, no name is needed for her to take your magical guardianship temporally until I am free."

"If I don't get free and die I will make a Will where Andi will become your permeant magical guardian until you are seventeen and will be seen as an adult by our law. We need to go to Gringotts for that as they can file it then my name is not needed. However for Andi to take it she needs to come with us and accept it so it will be smarter to go to Andi first."

Harry asks a little shocked "die? Why would you die?"

Sirius says "I don't know what the ministry will do as I am the first one to ever break out of Azkaban. If I must guess I think they will send Dementors after me and maybe order a kiss on-site order. Why don't you come to the library and I will tell you what Dementors are. Although I don't think we have any pictures or images you need to know as Dementors will not show mercy if you are with me."

10th August 1993, Black Library, Grimmauld Place

They walk into the library and see Kreacher cleaning in the corner. Harry gently asks "Kreacher do you need some help?"

Kreacher looks up in surprise and asks "son of mudblood asks Kreacher. Kreacher must listen to the bad master. Mistress would be so disappointed in Kreacher."

Sirius wants to send Kreacher away but he wonders what Harry is planning. Harry asks "Kreacher why don't you make something to eat for yourself and lie on the small mattress in the living room. The small one near the entrance is for you to sleep in."

Kreacher looks almost in awe at Harry and asks "son of mudblood thinks of Kreacher. Kreacher has soft space to sleep?"

Harry says "yes Kreacher why don't you take a rest for the day. Dobby will help us and tomorrow you can help Dobby."

Kreacher says "Kreacher serves the most ancient and most noble house of Black, not bad Dobby."

Harry says firmly "Dobby is not a bad elf. You act more as a bad elf than Dobby. You can be a good elf if you listen to Sirius ….. your master and don't call Dobby a bad elf. Do you understand Kreacher?"

Kreacher nods and says "Kreacher understands bad Master's godson."

Harry says "great so take a rest and tomorrow you can serve the most ancient and most noble house of Black again and make your master Sirius proud that you are his house-elf."

Kreacher seems to accept that and pops out.

Sirius says "I am impressed, Harry. If you don't count the word mudblood or call me as his bad master Kreacher was almost civil and even listen to you although I told him he must. Maybe you are right that kindness to Kreacher can at least make Kreacher a normal house-elf and work for the House of Black because he wants to. I think however that he never will be as enthusiastic as Dobby but I don't mind. Now we will see if Kreacher slowly changes."

"Let's get started about Dementors, I am sure my family has a book or two of it as they are dark creatures and it shames to say so was most of my family despite my father, Andi is also not dark. I thought the same as my brother but alas. I never figured out my other cousins Cissy and Bella are really dark or just their husbands is even though we were all taught to be a Black and that includes the pureblood crap that I for one do not believe. but we are not here to talk about my family. Harry took a seat while I look for some books."

Harry nods and it takes almost 15 minutes when Sirius comes back with two books. He says "only these books apparently have dementors in them. I expected more."

Sirius looks through one book and says "well this is useless only that Dementors exist and things like that."

He looks in the other book and says "this is more like it. Harry, I want to talk to you about Dementors for the chance they put a kiss on sight order on me so you know what Dementors are and what they look like. Also, the most important thing is that Muggles cannot see Dementors and you know when Dementors are nearby. The Dementors bring with them bad weather and I am not joking. If it is a sunny day and suddenly dark clouds approach rapidly and it starts raining or even storming, believe me, Dementors are close although they don't always bring rain but more often than not they do. I don't know if it depends on the amount of Dementors, the season is if there are rainclouds close or can decide to attract rain or not. I do know that at Azkaban it always is stormy including rain."

"The Dementors also bring an unnatural cold. Even if it is winter you will feel the difference between the cold weather and the dementor cold. Dementors also bring back bad memories and they can literally suck your soul out. That is what they call the dementor kiss and that is the kiss on-site order. The dementors are allowed to suck out your soul without a trial or anything. You will die but the last hours, days, weeks, months or even years if you are unlucky are horrible you will be nothing but an empty husk. You look like you but you aren't you."

Sirius takes a seat next to Harry and opens the book with a section about dementors. Sirius places the books between them so they both can read if needed. Sirius points at the start of Dementor in the book and says "here look."

Sirius reads out loud "Dementors are among the foulest creatures that walk this earth. They infest the darkest, filthiest places, they glory in decay and despair, they drain peace, hope, and happiness out of the air around them... Get too near a Dementor and every good feeling, every happy memory will be sucked out of you. If it can, the Dementor will feed on you long enough to reduce you to something like itself... soulless and evil. You will be left with nothing but the worst experiences of your life."

"Once you lost your soul there's no chance at all of recovery. You'll just... exist. As an empty shell. And your soul is gone forever... lost."

Harry asks "there must be a way to protect yourselves?"

Sirius says "there is but it is very difficult and very advantaged magic. And while I have no doubt you be able to do it may be even now at your current age. I think you can have at least the ability to create some kind of shield. I cannot teach you at the moment."

"I am nowhere near healed from being around those creatures for 12 years. I also don't know if I can still cast Patronus, especially at this the time. I just hope you will never face a Dementor or at least don't when it is after you although I doubt they have mercy on anyone or care if they are looking for you or not."

Sirius says "I know this isn't a happy talk but necessary nonetheless. This book is more about feelings about encountering them and the history of Dementors at least what is known what isn't much."

"I think you can better start or continue on your homework, Harry. Or maybe better did you think about your electives?"

Harry says "I did think about it but I am not sure. Are you sure Ron wouldn't mind and that my mother and father were good in it?"

Sirius says "Harry if Ron is your real friend he wouldn't mind. He may be sad that you don't follow the same class but he will be happy you make your own choice especially if you like the classes that I think you will. Maybe you can ask Neville if he wants to join you and if you are at it maybe Ron will even change as you do."

Harry says "maybe Neville will but I don't think Ron will as he mostly chooses divination for easy grades at least that is what Ron said. What you said is that you really need to do your best for Ancient Runes and Arithmancy. Ron doesn't like doing his homework and with divination, you don't need to do much according to Ron and as I said is an easy grade. For Ancient Runes and Arithmancy you need to do really homework to get good grades I don't think Ron will like that or even do that even if it is needed."

Sirius says "yeah, you really need to work for it to get good grades. I think it sounds bad as you really need to do your homework. The knowledge you gain from Ancient Runes and Arithmancy is very important for someone like you Harry as the last of and most ancient and most noble House like Susan said. I guess she follows at least Ancient Runes and Arithmancy and if she didn't I think Amy would try to convince her to do so. Neville is also the last of his house I think you should try to convince him."

Harry slowly nods and says "if you say so, Sirius. I will send Pro… Minnie a question if I can still change and instead of Divination take Ancient Runes and Arithmancy but keep Care of Magical Creatures so I will have three electives."

Sirius says "if you do that don't forget to also send Neville a message. If he is even a little like his parents I think he will also take Ancient Runes and Arithmancy. He will also continue Care of Magical Creatures I think. Don't forget what I said Harry Arithmancy can also help with potions. Like why you need to add a certain amount of ingredients, and why you need to stir a certain way. I may take some time before you see it but your mother saw it soon but then again she was a potion mistress basically from day one."

Harry smiles hearing about his mother and their experience with the electives he will now surely take if it is still possible.

Sirius says "why don't you write those letters first and then do your homework. Then tomorrow we go to Andi. I don't know if she still lives where she used to live otherwise Dora may tell us where they live now. Andi should live southeast of London near the city of Darenth. I think we can take the knight bus as I am not sure if we can use the floo."

Harry says immediately "no floo. Knight bus it is. Do you think we could bring Athena and Hedwig again?

Sirius laughs and says "we can try and you say no to floo I wonder if you still think the same after a little longer on the knight bus than when we used to get to the Leaky Cauldron which took less than a minute. It probably wouldn't take too long but still a bit longer."

Sirius thinks for a moment before he says "It will be smarter to go to the Leaky Cauldron and use it from there to not let them know where we stay for now. And when we say a place it will be wise to not use the address but a little bit away at a park or something to protect her and Dora just in case."

Harry says "I guess that is a good idea."

Sirius says "great you think the same. Now, why don't you write the letters I will see if Dobby would like to make us lunch."

10th August 1993, Kitchen, Grimmauld Place

Harry walks into the kitchen after getting parchment, an ink bottle and a quill out of his trunk. Sirius immediately notices Harry needs new supplies as especially the quill looks a bit worn out although the trunk looks brand new.

Harry finishes his first letter and Hedwig immediately jumps off her perch onto the table to take it. Harry gives her a scratch and says "can you take this to Pro….. Minnie. You know Professor McGonagall girl."

Hedwig hoots and Harry smiles and says "yes I can call her Minnie and of course I trust you. I just wanted to ask you if you want. Please wait for a response."

Hedwig hoots before she grabs the envelope Harry put the letter out of his hands in her beak and flies to the hallway and leave the same way as before.

Sirius asks "didn't you also need to write one for Neville?"

Harry says "yes but I thought it will be better if I get an answer from P… Minnie first."

Harry grabs parchment out of his trunk. He returns and says "I will write most of the letter now and when I know Pro…. Minnie's answer I will add what I want. Maybe if Hedwig isn't tired she would like to bring this letter to Neville."

It was just past dinner when Hedwig returns with Professor McGonagall's answer.

Harry reads:

Dear Harry,

I am happy you decide to take Ancient Runes and Arithmancy instead of divination. I will make the necessary changes and have the new list for you with this letter as you need a couple of more supplies for Ancient Runes and Arithmancy and not forget the books. While I know Mr. Grimm probably is right and Mr. Longbottom needs it too as it will be useful like for you. However, without him sending me a letter I cannot make the changes.

Also, Harry as this is school-related it is Professor McGonagall although I do like you started with dear Minnie. So I will end this letter properly.

Harry smiles and writes something in Neville's letter before asking Hedwig if she would mind. Hedwig hoots something.

Harry says "yes Hedwig like I said before I trust you but maybe you are a bit tired."

Hedwig hoots something that sounds rude before standing straight up to show she isn't tired at all. Harry says "I didn't mean anything. And was that really necessary?"

Hedwig hoots something while Harry nods. Harry says "oh that is why. I didn't feel anything. Here is the letter can you wait on a reply and if he wants to send a letter to Minnie you bring it to her before bringing his reply here. I ask if he can tie the envelope to one of your legs as Minnie's letter will be in your beak. Maybe if you land Minnie will untie the envelope so you can grab it with your beak."

"When you return and you couldn't hunt I will make sure Dobby have some bacon strips for you, alright?"

Hedwig hoots and gently nibs his fingers in appreciation before grabbing the letter and flying away.

Sirius watches impressed but also in wonder.

He asks "what did you say before Hedwig flew back in Harry?"

Harry says "oh yes. Sorry, Sirius. The homework wasn't too difficult only Snape's are and gives us barely enough time. Hermione already knows what books we need and she will even help me by looking over the essays we need to write and sometimes even help me with starting but I never ask her to help me start she wants to help me and does it by herself. When I say she always says "I thought you would like it." I always say I appreciate it and it did help."

Sirius says "ah Harry she just wants to help but I think she wants you to like her and she obvious value her brains. Maybe you should thank her for it doing it, hug her and thank her that she thinks about you as think will refer to her brain, but make sure that you like her even if she doesn't help you start. If she looks over your essay when you are done and gives you pointers make sure to thank her for that too."

Harry says " I think I should. I don't want her to do things so I would like her she is one of my best friends even without doing those things. But tell me more about you and my parents."

For the rest of the evening, Sirius told many stories about himself. his parents and even some stories about Harry and his parents. Sirius also said some things he didn't know if it was true but Professor McGonagall probably knows.

11th August 1993, Grimmauld Place

The next morning Harry wakes up and sees that Hedwig is sleeping on her perch and see the letter Hedwig brought back on the end of his bed.

Harry walks to the kitchen and Dobby immediately wants to know what Harry as breakfast.

Sirius walks in as Harry opens the letter and starts reading:

Dear Harry,

It is indeed common for Heirs to take Ancient Runes and Arithmancy. I thought you didn't know about being an Heir but I understand if you never talk to me about it. My grandmother wants me to take both classes, drop divination and keep Care of Magical Creatures. I was very hesitant but your asking me to join you in the classes make me decide to join you.

If you really don't mind I will use Hedwig to send the letter with my desire to change my electives to Care of Magical Creatures, Ancient Runes and Arithmancy.

I will see you at school.

Harry smiles and asks Sirius "Sirius why does Neville think I will never talk about my apparently Heir of House Potter?"

Sirius says "did I forget to mention that?"

Harry nods and Sirius says "really I thought I mentioned it. Well, there are many secrets in the wizarding world. The worst kept secret however is that House Potter and House Longbottom have the longest-standing alliance from everyone. Your family and Neville's family have been Allies for centuries. I don't know from when exactly but I do know that it was near the origin of your family and after a couple of generations of Neville's family although your family is a few generations older."

"I don't know much about the very start of your House. That is only known by the family and although James was like a brother in anything other than blood it was never told to me unless I was disowned as then I would have been adopted by your grandparents. As your grandmother is my beloved Aunt Dorea Potter née Black."

Harry asks "so we are family?"

Sirius says "yeah we are cousins a couple of times removed just like Dora and Andi are from us."

Harry looks happy. He has found his family. A family that loves him. He just hopes Andi and Nymfie do too and according to Sirius they do.

Sirius says "anyway, the alliance was renewed by your father and Neville's father. It is a custom that when you become the new Lord of House Potter you will renew the alliance with the current Head of House who is Neville's grandmother at the moment and when Neville becomes Lord Longbottom it happens again if you and they want to keep the alliance alive. As you are not Lord Potter it isn't needed. I do suggest telling Neville you know and become good friends and maybe do an Heirship alliance if you both have your Heir rings."

"Heirship alliance is not as permanent as House alliance and it will give House Longbottom promise to keep the alliance alive when you reach your majority. Heirship alliance does have the same as helping each other and protecting each other. With Snape and Death Eater children around I think it is best. Also Harry I think for now it is better to not talk about Neville's parents. I know what happened to them but it is not my place to tell as it will also damage the trust I have tried to build with House Longbottom even when your House vouched from me and your father and I were good friends with Neville's father."

"My house doesn't have an alliance with House Longbottom or House Potter but if I get free or at least be Lord of House Black when you reach your majority we can maybe do that. Andi cannot do that as she will be your guardian and temporally Regent of House Potter what I can allow as your godfather."

Harry nods with his trust in Sirius. He is the first one he can completely trust. He did trust Professor Dumbledore almost completely but with the new information, his trust in Professor Dumbledore has decreased although his trust in Professor McGonagall…. Minnie has 'slightly' increased.

Sirius says "oh yes before I forget as you are going to marry Susan and as she is the Heiress from House Bones your family is now also allied with House Bones. You will be when you marry the Heiress or they will be with you as you are the primary but also sole Heir of House Potter. Marriage with the primary Heir or Heiress is automatically Allies. If it is not the Heir or Heiress it isn't atomically but most Houses still become allies when their children marry."

Harry is nervous. Today he is going to meet Andromeda or as he apparently called her in his youth mommy Andi before it changed to Auntie Andi. According to Sirius Lily wasn't happy with Harry but still loved him dearly. Well, she didn't until he apparated in Lily's arms and said mommy in St. Mungo's what should be impossible to do. Sirius also said that baby Harry said, love mommy. Harry wonders if he really ever felt love as he doesn't know how love feels.

After that Andi always said Lilly is your mommy I am your Auntie although that is all according to Sirius.

They will have a very early small lunch before walking to the Leaky Cauldron and taking the Knight Bus there. As the charms around Leaky Cauldron muggles wouldn't see a large triple-decker, purple bus but probably also have charms the muggles won't see when the Knight Bus stops somewhere else.

They walk to the Leaky Cauldron which takes a little over 45 minutes. Sirius used the same glamour as before as only Amelia, Professor McGonagall and Tonks know. Sirius thinks Tonks will be home so using the same glamour Tonks will know it is him. Harry and Sirius stand in front of the Leaky Cauldron and they call for the Knight Bus who arrives in a couple of seconds.

With a Galleons Stan allows Hedwig and Athena again entrance to the bus. Hedwig sits on one of the chairs as she is a bit tired. Normally she would sit on Harry's free shoulder but she did remember what happened last time. Athena also does but almost bury herself in Harry's arm. She is so close that if Harry falls she wouldn't be hurt or at least not too much. As a basilisk, she is stronger than a muggle snake and with the bond, she will heal faster.

Stan asks "where to?"

Sirius says "Darenth, Darenth Country Park."

11th August 1993, Darenth, Darenth Country Park

It takes almost 13 minutes before they reach the edge of Darenth Country Park.

Sirius and Harry leave the Knight Bus and they look it ride away. In a few seconds, the Knight Bus disappear out of sight even though a muggle bus should still be visible.

Harry asks "where to now Sirius?"

Sirius says "we need to walk to Dartford. The house should be on the edge of Dartford in the southeast. I asked this park as it is the closest and with the trees, nobody could see us but also nobody from the Knight bus can lookout."

It takes almost 10 minutes when they see many large houses. Sirius says "this is the neighbourhood where Andi lived at least when I went to Azkaban. It is a muggle neighbourhood as you can probably guess from the large houses and the distance between one and the next meaning most houses have a large lawn and I know that some even have a pool in the backyard. The muggles call these manors but believe me Harry most pureblood families have manors and are ashamed if they live in manors of this size but for muggles, it is kind of manors."

It takes another 5 minutes before they near a large two-story dark grey colour house. Just when they step a foot on the path to the front door Harry stops. Sirius sees and asks "Pup what is the problem?"

Harry says "I don't know it feels like I walked through something?"

Sirius says "impressive Harry. I think you walked through a protective ward as we aren't attacked. Not many wizards and witches can notice it even with the strong wards at Hogwarts although that can because it is full of a thousand-year of magic that may mask the feel of the wards to the students. Now let's continue to the door."

After two minutes they stand by the front door. Sirius sees an old fashion door knocker with the shape of a stag head that reminds Sirius of James. House Potter was the only case Andi would personally take and sometimes some allies of House Potter but no others. Ted …. when he was still alive did all the other cases although most were muggles.

Sirius use the knocker three times. Harry wonders as he sees a doorbell just a couple of inches to the right. The door opens and they see a young-looking woman not looking old enough to have an adult daughter if you can call Nymfie that. Sirius says "hey Andi how is my favourite cousin doing? I hope you like to see your two favourite cousins?"

The woman that is probably Andi immediately pulls her wand and says "well, well, well Sirius Black. How dare you show your face here?"

Andi looks at Harry and she immediately recognizes Harry, his eyes are the most important feature as he has the same colour as Lily's eyes although Andi notices his scar that isn't important to her and is not his primary feature.

She falters and says "Harry dear it is so good to see you. Although I don't know why you are here with him?"

Harry sees that Andi really is happy to see him so far as he can tell but wonders why she wonders why he is here with Sirius. Andi has her wand pointed at Sirius's neck. Sirius asks "what is the problem, Andi? Didn't Dora tell me we will come by although I didn't ask her to tell you with the surprise that Harry will come too?"

Andi screams "Nymphadora come down here immediately."

It took a couple of minutes before Dora appears and she says "mom doesn't call me that. Call me Tonks after dad or at least Dora."

Andi rolls her eyes and says "Sirius says you know he would come here. Is that true?"

Dora says "oh yes. Sorry, I forget I had too many other things on my mind. I admit this is Sirius but how do you know he has a glamour on."

Andi says "I don't need to see Sirius, to believe it is him as I recognize Sirius's cheekiness everywhere. Also, he is the only one to have Harry here."

Dora sees Harry and says "hey Harry."

Harry says "hey Nymfie."

Her hair turns red but not from anger. Her hair turns as red as her cheeks as she is blushing while also being very happy that Harry calls her like that. He is the only one who can call her like that or use any variation from the first part of her name. The feeling she had when Harry was young comes back almost tenfold and she feels something more than what happened when Susan finished the contract.

Without control she rushed past her mother and hugged Harry, almost crushing him. She hasn't seen him for so long. When Harry went to Hogwarts for his first year she has just graduated the year before.

Harry is feeling uncomfortable and Sirius sees that. He says "Nymphadora please let go of Harry. You are crushing him."

Tonks immediately lets go of Harry and pulls her wand at Sirius. She hotly says "don't call me that. If you need to use my name call me Tonks or if necessary Dora."

Andi still has her wand on Sirius and says "well I guess you can come in Sirius. While I trust you didn't do what you are accused doesn't mean I letting you off easy. Also, wonder why you come here besides obvious medical care. I have a couple of potions that could help immediately but for some, you need a regime before it will help."

Andi looks at Harry and says "Harry while Nymphadora has already shown how happy she is that you are here. I want to assure you so am I."

Harry gives a smile. Andi sees the snake and says "Harry you do know you have a snake on your shoulder right?"

Harry says "yes Mrs. Tonks this is Athena. The owl that is flying around is my owl, Hedwig."

Andi says "alright but Harry please call me Andi. We are family and if prefer if you call me Andi like you did in your youth. It was so cute when you did."

Harry blushes and Sirius with a laugh says "Andi let the poor pup alone. I think we can better go inside don't you think so Andi?"

Andi rolls her eyes and says "right come on in."

When they walk in. Harry sees that the house is large than his relatives but in opposition to his relatives this house is cosy and homey, not cosy and homey as the Burrow but it isn't a big difference. It is however a big difference between night and day at his relatives' house. Tonks keeps the door open for Hedwig to fly in before closing the door. Hedwig land on her shoulder and gives her head a few affectionate bumps before flying after Harry who follows Andi with Sirius.

11th August 1993, living room, Tonks House

They walk into a large living room. Andi takes a seat on a chair. Harry and Sirius take a seat on a couch. Tonks walks in stumbling before taking a seat on another couch. Hedwig land on the armrest of Harry's and Sirius's couch on Harry's side. There are still a few seats left although one chair seems a bit dusty next to Andi's chair.

Harry and Sirius both notice it. Andi sees and says "that was always Ted's chair so I leave it how it is. I know Ted won't come back and I have grieved as did Nymphadora but we both decide to leave as a reminder of Ted. I may not be the healthiest but it works for us and it is not as we believe Ted to still be here."

Sirius says "I heard from Amy what happened Andi and for what it is worth I give you my deepest condolences. I liked Ted very much. He was a good man and he seemed to really love you. I would not lie if I say that from all my cousins you got the best man. It may not sound like a compliment to compare him with Malfoy and Lestrange but it is."

Andi sadly smiles and says "yes I suppose it is. Ted allowed me to use his last name as long as I want. He wants me to be happy and that I should remarry as soon as I can. I think neither Malfoy nor Lestrange would allow that when they will die."

Sirius says "I think you are right but the Lestrange cannot change that anymore."

Andi says "of course, they are in Azkaban. They can't make a will while in Azkaban."

Sirius says "that is not the only problem they have. Let's just say that they as Dumbledore would say are facing the last great enemy."

Andi almost happy asks "they are dead?"

Sirius nods. Andi says "are you sure?"

Sirius says "well lest just say I saw it happen as I kind of helped them along or better said Padfoot did."

Andi asks "you killed them? I can understand but why?"

Sirius says "I may sound a bit too proud but yes I did. Do you remember Bella's biggest wish?"

Andi nods and says "yes she wants to be a mother so she can be a better mother and I suggest yours was. Why?"

Sirius says "when I escaped I heard Bellatrix. Her cell was across from mine. Let's just say that Lestrange forced her to take the dark mark as much as she could or he will take her baby away and I think your know-how. She voluntarily took the mark to save her baby but apparently, that wasn't enough and she lost the baby."

Andi gasps and says "oh by Merlin. Really?"

Sirius says "yes, I think she was controlled with everything she did and probably didn't even want to do it."

Andi asks "even after You-Know-Who was gone and she attacked the Lo…"

Sirius interrupts her and says "I think so. I couldn't really talk to her. I talked to her once I think a little over a month ago when I had the chance for once. She is feeling guilty and wants many people to forgive including what you wanted to say and also asked for death to claim her."

Harry looks surprised. Sirius sees and says "I never wanted to let you know everything Harry at least not right now but Andi asked. Also, I want you to know that while many think that Bellatrix is crazy and pure evil she isn't. Like I said I think she was controlled as there are many ways that you can also all are forbidden. Also, I think that if I get my trial and get my innocence proven I may help her and if I can't I hope you can but that is not a discussion we need to have now."

Harry nods as he trusts Sirius more than almost everyone. He trusts no adult more and there is only one person he will trust more although it is barely and that is Hermione. He must admit Daphne is close just a bit below Sirius and Harry thinks he can also trust Susan as one of his further wives if he even finds other wives. His muggle upbringing if you can call it that having multiple wives is illegal and that is why he is seriously doubting even trying to have them. He wonders if he can even keep Susan happily let stand more wives.

Harry thinks 'who will ever want to share their husband and how can I tell anyone that I agree with multiple wives and they need to share me. Hermione will kill me over and over again if possible. Well, I can think about it later as Susan, fortunately, agrees to not tell anyone yet. No girl will like me enough to share especially if they know how (broken) I am. Athena is actually the basilisk and I am the Heir of Gryffindor. I know no girl likes me romantically that Susan does is a miracle and even though she said she does I still can't shake the feeling it is only because of the marriage contract.'

Harry gets shaken out of his thought when Sirius stands up. Sirius says "Andi offered us lunch even though we already had a small very early lunch."

Harry nods as he follows Sirius, Andi and an almost falling over Nymfie to the big kitchen which Harry notices when he walks in. Hedwig flies after Harry and Athena not leaving her place on his shoulder.

11th August 1993, Kitchen, Tonks House

Andi says "go take a seat while I make lunch. Does your owl or snake want something? I think I got some owl treats somewhere and what do your snake want?"

Athena sis and Harry says "she says she isn't hungry I think snakes don't eat too much."

Hedwig hoots something and Harry says "Hedwig wouldn't mind some owl treats."

Andi looks at Harry and asks "will sandwiches be alright dear?"

Harry nods. Andi smiles and says "great. I think I can get you something you always loved. Let me see where it is. Dora go find the owl treats for Harry's owl."

Andi opens something that looks like a refrigerator but Harry sees that the refrigerator isn't on. Dora just comes back in and sees that Harry looks confused. Tonks says "Harry I see that you look surprised why the refrigerator is not on, right?"

Harry nods. Tonks says "well Harry with two adult witches in the house all the electronic devices will go haywire. The power lines in the wall, fortunately, don't react to our magic and we can use electricity for light but that is about it. Our magic is the problem. We use a cooling charm in the refrigerator that actually is the same as a working refrigerator."

Harry nods and thinks that probably why Hogwarts with the amount of magic between the walls even power lines won't work and that explains a lot. He wonders if Black Manor in London could have it if they wanted to although they also have a lot of House Magic if Kreacher was able to survive for multiple years although he obviously didn't do much.

Sirius says "that is also the reason we don't have a television or something else. Besides the magic, it is also most of my family hate muggles. But let now enjoy the lunch Andi is preparing."

Lunch is quick and eventful although Harry is enjoying it.

After lunch, Sirius says "Andi I came here for more reasons than to see you again."

Andi says "I guessed so much. Then tell me why are you here?"

Sirius says "I don't know if you know but you were the third choice to take care of Harry. I am first as his godfather and the second is like you know unable as that was Alice his godmother and her husband. Harry, I will tell you when the time is right who Alice is and who her husband is, can you believe for now it isn't necessary?"

Harry nods and says "I trust you, Sirius. If you say that I don't need to know right now I believe you, but I want to know when I can."

Sirius nods. He ruffles Harry's hair and says "of course Pup."

Harry can't help but smile which makes Andi smile and Tonks very happy for Harry.

Andi wonders if Harry knows what Sirius was accused of as she thinks Harry acts much too trusting not that she minds but she needs to know.

Andi asks "Sirius did you tell Harry what you were accused of?"

Sirius says "not really. I just told Harry that I was wrongly imprisoned."

Andi glares at Sirius which makes Sirius feel like Minnie is going to give him detention. Andi says "tell him."

Sirius tries to say "but Andi I do…."

Andi interrupts Sirius and says "if you didn't tell Harry before I don't care but you will tell him now or I give you to Dora to take you in. If you really are innocent you shouldn't mind telling Harry."

Sirius sighs before she says "you are right Andi."

Sirius looks at Harry and says "Pup I may have told you sooner but I didn't know how to tell you, but I am really innocent. I promise you I am. Can you trust me?"

Harry nods and says "I trust you, Sirius. I know I can."

Sirius says "alright Pup. I was imprisoned and accused of betraying your parents to Voldemort, killing Peter Pettigrew while also killing twelve muggles by blowing up and pipeline with gas."

Harry looks shocked and says "why do they think it was you?"

Sirius says "there is difficult magic that is above Hogwarts difficulty. Your mother was a very good charms mistress and wanted to take it when she was done with her mediwitch training but she never got to finish it. She cast the spell on your home in Godric's Hollow. The charm is to hide the occupants. There is only one person who can reveal the locations to others. That person is called the Secret Keeper. The Secret Keeper can only reveal it by saying or writing it. It doesn't matter if the Secret Keeper gives it voluntarily or forced. Even if the Secret Keeper's mind is being read the magic protects the secret. If the charm is strong what it certainly was when your mother cast it not even a Master Leggilmens what Voldemort was can get the secret."

"Many people even the Death Eater's followers of Voldemort thought that I was the Secret Keeper and to be honest, I was the first idea, but when we cast the charms I convinced your parents to make Peter Pettigrew the Secret Keeper. I thought it would be extra protection so if the Death Eaters captured me and try to torture and break me I couldn't give them the location although I would die for you and your parents Harry. I just thought with Peter being the Secret Keeper and he being a rat Animagus he could easier escape if he was cornered or even caught. As a rat, he can use small spaces to hide and escape through small holes."

"I wanted to kill Peter Pettigrew to take revenge. Apparently, I hurt him enough for him to die a few days after I was taken to Azkaban. I never killed the muggles though that was Pettigrew. Pettigrew was our friend. He shared a dorm with us for seven years. He was one of our best friends. He was a Gryffindor and he betrayed us. We were in an Alleyway and start to cast spells at each other. I easily subdued him. Pettigrew admitted when nobody could hear us that he did it saying how afraid he was of Voldemort and his power. He talked to distract me as with my anger I let my guard down."

"Pettigrew managed to cast a charm that sends me flying back to the street and I hit a wall. He accused me of betraying your parents before he fired at a gas pipeline that made a large explosion that hurt me but also extra hurt Pettigrew and killed twelve muggles by that spell. I think the Aurors when they looked through the memories saw that from the muggles that survived that Pettigrew accused me and put me in Azkaban but I should have got a trial that I never got."

Sirius wants to look at Harry afraid to see anger in his eyes or that he betrayed Harry. Before he can look he gets a hug from Harry. Sirius hears Harry sobbing a bit and feels the wetness of Harry's tears. This was apparently too much for Harry to hear.

Andi looks with pity at Harry and says "Dora can you take Harry to the guest room across from yours. That one should be clean. Put him on the bed, get a dreamless sleep potion, give it to him and let him rest. Cast an alarm charm so we know when he wakes up and then comes back down."

Tonks nods and levitates Harry to the room. Almost ten minutes later Tonks comes down. Andi says "that took a long time Dora. Did something happen?"

Dora's hair turns soft red and is blushing. Andi notices and is happy that Dora is a Metamorphmagus so she can always know how Dora feels and if there is something she needs to know.

Andi asks "well Nymphadora are you going to tell me or not?"

Tonks immediately says with bright red hair from anger "don't call me that."

Andi says "it is a perfectly fine name but are you going to tell me or not?"

Tonks's hair gets soft red again and says "nothing really happened I just kissed Harry on his temple. He smiled after I did that although he didn't wake up as already gave a potion and waited until he fell asleep before I did."

Andi looks sharply at Sirius and says "Sirius, what the hell happened with Harry? And how could you not tell Harry about what you did?"

Sirius answered with his own questions "I could ask you the same thing, Andi. Why didn't you take care of Harry? And do you really think he would trust me if I tell him that even if I promised I didn't do it?"

Andi asks "what do you mean take care of Harry? If I was one of his guardians I would have. You know I love Harry, which annoyed Lily until he apparated to St. Mungo's and start calling me Auntie after that. I think you surely remember that."

Sirius nods before he asks surprised "you don't know?"

Andi asks "know what?"

Sirius says "you were the third on the list to take care of me after Alice and Frank. They can't and again not because of Bellatrix but her now dead Husband and his inbred brother although her husband is also inbred."

Andi asks "really I am?"

Sirius says "yes why didn't you know?"

Andi says "when I heard of James and Lily's death, but Harry survived I waited for you to come here so I could check his health as I know you wouldn't go St. Mungo. When you weren't here the next day I thought you were maybe searching for a safe place. Then I heard that you were captured for betraying James and Lily. I was appalled but then remembered how much you loved James as a brother, love Harry and although getting hexed a lot loved also Lilly fortunately not like James. I knew you would never do it."

"I thought alright when everything died down I will go to Alice as his godmother Harry should be there and then try to get you free. It was a couple of days after your capture I read in the Daily Prophet the unfortunate conclusion of the attack on Alice and Frank. By then I didn't think Harry will be with Augusta, not that she wouldn't but she already had Neville and was probably very distressed and angry. So I contacted Dumbledore as I thought he will know as against my objections all three of you joined his Order of the Phoenix."

"Dumbledore came here and when I asked to take care of Harry not knowing I was on the list Dumbledore said he was assigned as his guardian after you and Alice. He also said that Harry was safe but due to protection I could not visit him. All three of us argued with Dumbledore even Dora but he wouldn't bulge. He even showed us the will of James and Lily which looked to be real even the spells I cast of it revealed that it was from Gringotts so I didn't know what to do. Both Dora and I were crestfallen and Ted used every contact in the muggle world to find Harry, but we never found him. In the will you were said to be secret-keeper but still trust you but I had no idea to get you out. I was afraid if I tried and you get convicted you will get kissed."

Sirius says "Dumbledore lied. He also left him with Lily's muggle sister Petunia, Husband Vermin and apparently a cousin his age called Dudley. I don't know but what I gathered and heard from Harry is that they don't like Harry one bit and that is not even mentioning I know they hate magic. I don't know if you ever heard about Lily's muggle sister or how the relationship was between them, especially the last couple of years."

Andi says "I heard her talk about it sometimes and asked her about it too. She however didn't tell me much about her only the basic things you know like age, children and things like that. I wanted to dig deeper but I could see and almost feel Lily didn't want that. I respected her privacy, hoped after the war I could learn more and maybe help her even if she wanted it."

Sirius nods and says "yes I know more but only because James told me and Lily while mad at first could relate as one family member hated me and her portrait still does. My dear old mother and maybe other family members hated me too I don't know. We are only with four left if you don't count Harry and maybe the Malfoy spawn. Also, I was and am of course the 'white' sheep of the Black Family."

Sirius gave a large smile. Andi groans before she asks "Sirius, Sirius?"

Sirius says "yes I am Siriusly Sirius."

Tonks who was already laughing at the white sheep of the Black family comment now lose it and almost fell off the couch laughing. And rolls her eyes but can't suppress a smile mostly to see Sirius again using one of his jokes about his name meaning he hasn't lost himself been for one bit.

Sirius says "now Harry is asleep I can tell you what truly happened."

Andi hotly asks "what do you mean truly happened?"

Tonks stops laughing and is waiting for Sirius to start.

Sirius says "everything I told you is true except that Pettigrew was hurt when we fought. Pettigrew pulled one over on me. Pettigrew the real secret keeper is alive and even worse he has easy access to Harry."

Andi asks "how? Only his finger as found the Daily Prophet said you obliterate the rest of him."

Sirius says "that is a lie but I will admit I would have done it if I got the chance. I never cast such a spell when I confronted him as there were muggles on the street. I had enough hate to use such a spell but the muggles, Harry and …. Kept me from using it."

Andi says "who Sirius?"

Sirius blushes slightly and says "Amy."

Andi asks "Amy?"

Dora says "you called my boss, Director Bones that."

Andi says "seriously Sirius? You are an escaped prisoner and you are still in love with Amelia Bones who is the Director of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement and is undoubtedly personally ordered to recapture you if not give you the Dementor Kiss. And don't joke about this, this is serious."

Sirius pouts and says "you are no fun, Andi."

Andi looks sharply that reminds Sirius of Minnie again and she asks "then how could Pettigrew escape and why?"

Sirius says "Pettigrew is a Death Eater before he accused me in front of the muggle he admitted he did it 'voluntarily' although he said he was afraid of Voldemort's power. He was also the only one who could do as he was the real secret keeper I was just a decoy."

"When I confronted him and like I said we exchanged spells and used the pipeline to create a big explosion he cut off his one finger and changed into his Animagus form to escape. He is a rat as Animagus and now I know why."

Andi says "I still believe you Sirius but really an Animagus he must be registered."

Sirius says "yes he should but he didn't. Although to be true I and James didn't do it. Dora, I think you may remember. They called me Padfoot and this is why."

Sirius turn into the Grimm and when he turned back. Dora says "I remembered that dog. I never thought that you were never around Sirius."

Andi says "so Pettigrew's Animagus is a rat and have James had one?"

Sirius says "to first answer your question, yes James also had one. He was a strong and beautiful stag just like his Patronus. We called him Prongs. Pettigrew got the name Wormtail because of the rat Animagus."

Andi asks "why do you think he still is alive?"

Sirius says "until shortly I really think I killed him and took my revenge. I thought that only killing Pettigrew was true and had a small hope that Harry will see his parent's will and got me free even if I couldn't take care of him. If I could just be in his life was enough for me. I know I am not fit to be his godfather right now especially as I am an escaped prisoner and the Aurors are looking for me and I still suffer from Azkaban, but I want to be in his life until I am fit enough to be his godfather and raise him legally. Hopefully, the goblins do allow me as they are always neutral and hate the ministry."

"Anyway when Fudge came by as his usual 'inspection' he had a newspaper that I asked. He gave it to me and I was shocked. On the front page was the picture from the Weasley's. I know Arthur he is a good man or at least when I met him in the war. We almost recruited him for the order but he had children and wisely declined. I know if I had 5 or 6 children and only I work to feed my family I also wouldn't have joined the Order of the Phoenix."

"Anyway on the youngest son's shoulder was a rat named Scabbers in the article but I know that rat I am 100% sure that it is Pettigrew. The worst part is the Weasleys don't seem to know and Ron is in the same dorm as Harry. And even they seem good and are not best friends. Wait, wait I mean the best mate. His best friend is a girl but his godbrother is at least a friend but I think if I tell Harry Neville is his godbrother he will easily become his best mate and even more than Ron."

"That is the reason why also I didn't tell Harry. If he tries to capture Scabbers he can get hurt more than already he has been appearing. I wouldn't put it past Wormtail to kill anyone who tries to capture him. He is in a school full of children, the Death Eater Snape and quite a lot of children have a Death Eater parent or parents. Maybe if Pettigrew says a certain sentence they will help him escape. Amy tried to assure me the Aurors can capture him, but I am afraid Pettigrew can escape in his rat form. I will go after him myself as I know Wormtail enough to know what he will do while he is on the run. I also think that he thinks he will be safe in Hogwarts but I am going to prove him wrong. When I capture him I can get my trial and be free to take care of Harry if I have recovered."

Sirius looks right into Andi's eyes and continues "that is also one of the reasons I came here, Andi. As you are the third guardian for Harry I think if we go to Gringotts and verify the claim and hopefully with me as Harry's real guardian we can at least temporarily until I am free and fit to raise him to make you his guardian. The question is if you want it and if you have enough room for Harry although I don't think too little room isn't really a problem."

Without a second Andi says "of course, I will do it. Harry is always welcome here and he can stay as long as he wants. I mean Dora is already 20 and she still lives here."

Dora's hair turns red from embarrassment. Andi sees and says "don't be embarrassed, Dora. I like having you here and don't forget even when you make enough money as Auror you can still stay here if you want. In many Houses especially pureblood Houses the children also live at their parents' home for a long time especially when they have a manor. Although those purebloods are pampered little children and can't live without a House-Elf to cook and wipe their behinds. But I admit it isn't all of them like me although I didn't have a choice and James and Sirius weirdly enough can also take care of themselves. Fortunately Lily could cook or you two would have probably died of food poisoning."

Sirius says "I will never admit I am even close to Lily but I can make food without it killing me."

Andi asks "really? Because I remembered a lot of take-out in your apartment with James. Remus often stayed over too."

Sirius says "I never said I can cook only that I can make food I admit I am awful at cooking. Also when we were also becoming Aurors we didn't have much time for the awful hours. I think Dora has the same as Auror trainee which is probably also a bit my fault."

Andi says "please don't tell me you ask Harry to cook. He is a child he shouldn't do t….."

Sirius interrupts and says "of course not although I think he can and that worries me. Kreacher has outlived my dear old mother, your cousin. Also, Harry has a House-elf. You know what the best part of Harry's House-elf is?"

Both Dora and Andi shake their heads as they don't know and can't also think what the best part is.

Sirius smiles and says "Harry tricked the master of Dobby to free him which made Dobby very happy and he almost sees Harry as a god. The master is also someone I think we don't like. Dobby was probably only one of the house-elves but still. He served House wait for it …. Malfoy and Harry tricked Lucy to free Dobby."

Andi gave a polite laugh while Dora almost fell off the couch laughing. Sirius looks at Dora and says "I had the same reaction. My godson tricked Lucius Malfoy. He will probably hate Harry right now, but I am sure I will not let Lucy hurt Harry even if I am Padfoot all the time to stay near Harry."

Andi says "I think besides protecting Harry, Harry also needs some help from potions. He is small and very thin for his age."

Sirius says "I see the same but I am afraid to ask why. If the Dursleys did something to them I may really go into jail for something I really did like killing the Dursleys. I know it sounds bad but I will not stay long in Azkaban. Maybe I can use the last twelve years while I was innocent as a bargaining chip to escape time in Azkaban."

Andi stands up, walks to Sirius and with one finger pushing on his chest she says "Don't you dare Sirius or I will stun you now and return you to the Ministry. You can only help Harry by being there for him and maybe with the potion we can heal him physically but he needs you to be healed mentally if he needs it. Dora and I can't do that until he sees us as the family we are from him but only trust you completely now, he needs you."

Sirius starts "but Andi….."

Andi interrupts and says "but nothing. Harry is your and now our first priority. The most we can do is help him reach his normal height with potions and make sure he isn't too thin so make sure he eats alright. We can only do something if he tells us. If Harry tells us and has the signs we can use muggle or magical law enforcement to punish Lily's sister, her husband and his cousin."

"If we use the magical law enforcement their punishment will be even worse, but without Harry, we can do nothing ….. although I think the purebloods on the wizengamot don't care and would like nothing more than to punish muggles even if the dark houses try I think it will be close as the dark purebloods don't have a majority but with the traditional light and neutral houses supporting them to punish them it will be close that they aren't killed outright or get the death sentence probably being kissed by Dementors."

Sirius nods and says "you are right Andi. I don't know why but I just feel Harry has a hard time there especially as I look at his clothes. The only clothes that fit are his school clothes. The clothing he uses today is some clothes we managed to buy from Madam Malkin as Harry had enough Galleons left and had Dobby buy them for me and Harry as my mother burned all my clothes among other things when I fled."

Andi says "well if you want you can stay here for a while. Dora is busy with her job and I work at St. Mungo's. I am currently not taking any muggle cases. Sirius if you managed to get a trial I will be more than happy to defend you but I will only do that for family. I will work half days at St. Mungo's but will be on call if necessary. I don't think you want but maybe it is better if Kreacher stays here away from that house. The House-elf Harry have is welcome too. I think we have more than enough space to house them. I mean even if you and Harry stay each in your own room here we still have three other guestrooms available although the last one is a bit small but maybe the House-Elves will like it."

Sirius says "well if you offer I will not say no. I hate the Black Manor in London. I will call them and hopefully, Dobby comes to me and Kreacher will try to not be too rude but I am afraid he will be. I hope you don't care what he says and will ignore those things. He has been too much time alone with my mother's portrait."

Andi just nods and Sirius says "Dobby, Kreacher."

Dobby immediately appears and after a minute Kreacher clearly reluctantly comes. Sirius says "we will stay here for some time. Dobby can you get Harry's trunk, Hedwig's cage and any stuff Harry left around like his books. Kreacher get all the mattresses in the living room here. Dobby then takes the shower things you got for your previous bad master."

Almost five minutes later Dobby and Kreacher are done. Andi says "Dora show them the room they will share."

Dobby says "thank you, Miss."

Kreacher mumbles something that sounds like filthy blood traitor and filthy half-blood.

Dora comes back a few minutes later. She asks "Sirius can you ask Dobby to do something else. Anything else. Dobby stopped the moment we passed Harry's room even though the door is closed. Dobby says that he felt Harry and immediately make sure that he is alright and is now waiting beside his bed for Harry to wake up."

Sirius says "Dobby?"

Dobby doesn't appear. Sirius says "I don't know if I can. As I said it is Dobby is Harry's elf and almost reveres him as a god. They need the smaller mattresses Kreacher brought. We kind of borrowed them from Malfoy they just don't know it and probably won't get them back."

Andi says "Sirius why don't you also go take a nap. I need some time to gather the potions you and Harry need. I will wake you both up when dinner is ready. Also, I will talk with Kreacher."

Sirius nods and Dora guide Sirius to his bedroom. Dora gives him the room next to Harry which on the other side is connected to the small bedroom of Kreacher and Dobby.

Let's end here now. I made a small change with the direction. In the next chapter, we will go to Gringotts after Harry gets some instructions on how to deal with goblins. As soon as he learns and is taught by Andi and Sirius. If word counts allow it we also go to the Leaky Cauldron where Harry meets Hermione.
