Chapter 7 Learning the past

11th August 1993, Tonks House

Harry wakes up and hears his name. He looks for his glasses when he sees a blur handing him something. He sees a pink blur so he knows it only be Nymfie. When he puts his glasses on he is sure of it, it is Nymfie.

Nymfie says "Harry come downstairs Mom got dinner ready. Sirius is already downstairs."

Harry nods and gets out of bed. Athena immediately slits up his leg and arm. Hedwig hoots. Harry braces himself to let Hedwig fly to his free shoulder. Harry follows Nymfie downstairs.

11th August 1993, Kitchen, Tonks House

When Harry walks into the kitchen behind Nymfie and takes a seat next to Sirius who has a large smile on his face. Hedwig jumps off Harry's shoulder to the table. Harry looks where Sirius is looking at. Harry looks and can understand the large smile. Near the stove, Andi glares at the two elves who stare back. It seems that they want to make dinner although Kreacher is reluctantly want to do it, it is still for his master although he doesn't like Sirius. Dobby on the other hand is on the point of begging to do it. Andi hasn't lived with house-elves for many years and doesn't want them to do it. She wants to spoil Harry and therefore wants to do it herself.

Harry says "Dobby why don't you let her do it and help her if she asks for it."

Dobby immediately says "as Master Harry wants."

Andi glares at Kreacher and says "Kreacher."

Kreacher says nothing but nods and pops out while Dobby keeps a watchful eye on Andi to help as soon as she can.

Sirius asks "Andi where did Kreacher go?"

Andi says "as I don't need him here I send him back to Grimmauld Place and told him to work there to clean as much as he can before coming back this evening. And that he is forbidden to talk to your mother's portrait."

Sirius asks "and you think Kreacher listens to you?"

Andi says "maybe not but if he doesn't you can call for him. Also, I told him you ordered him to do it and even if it is barely he likes me more as I am a Slytherin what all Black should have been according to Aunt Walburga."

Harry would have been surprised if he wasn't friends with Daphne but that explains the glare Andi had to Dobby and why it looks kind of familiar.

Andi says "I had a small hope Nymphadora was a Slytherin like me."

Nymfie's hairs turn red and scream "DON'T CALL ME THAT!"

Nymfie lowers her voice and says "I am fine being a Hufflepuff, thank you."

Andi places everything on the table and places five plates.

During dinner, Sirius told things about James and Lily with some comments from Andi. Athena takes a little food and Andi made sure one plate was full of bacon strips. Hedwig even allowed two bacon strips for Harry to feed Athena.

After dinner, Harry thinks they will soon return. Sirius says "Harry we will stay here for a while if you don't mind."

Harry smiles and asks "really?"

Sirius nods as does Andi while Nymfie has a large smile while her hair is changing rapidly between many colours until it settles on her vibrant pink colour.

Harry says "I think I will like it."

Sirius says "that is great as Dobby already brought your trunk everything else you left outside of your trunk here including Hedwig's cage. Also, of course, the new clothes. I only need my new clothes so that is also brought but nothing more … for now."

After dinner, Sirius says "Harry why don't you continue on your homework before you go to bed. Maybe Andi can help you with potions she was very good, not as good as Lily but still on the top of her years in potions. Don't go to bed too late as tomorrow I will help you be respectful to Goblins and Andi will also if I forget anything or for the more recent changes. She will help and we will make her your guardian until I am fit and I am not hunted be anymore."

Harry says "all right Sirius."

12th August 1993, Library, Tonks House

The house of Andi and Nymfie has a library that isn't large but large enough for Harry, Sirius and when Andi comes back from her (part-time) job at St. Mungo's. Sirius starts with the Goblins in general and their close ties to house-elves. Goblins however have great disdain and almost despise house-elves as they have become servants of wizards and witches. Sirius says to Harry to never mention them be close related to house-elves as that is probably one of the worst things you can say to a Goblin.

A Goblin prefers dead than being servants to wizards or witches unless their king orders to protect wizards and witches, but that rarely happens as there is also a big distrust between Goblins and the British wizarding world especially as most wizards and witches treat Goblins as inferior creatures. The only way a Goblin 'serves' a wizard is by controlling his gold and finances and helping to make money where most Account Managers take a fee from.

Sirius clearly says to Harry "Goblins are immensely prideful. Like many wizards and witches and I am sure some muggles see them as inferior and treat them the same way. If you are disrespectful to a Goblin they will do the same to you. Goblins can be helpful to respectful families. Harry your family always respected them and I trust you will follow their example. I will not admit I know if your family had any standing in the Goblin society as there isn't much known about it or if they even keep families in standing but if they do I think your family will be one of the highest. I know many families however do not treat them with respect and therefore have probably no standing in the Goblin society."

"They barely take human employees and never from families who disrespect Goblins. The oldest brother of Ginny Weasley works in Egypt right?"

Harry nods. Sirius asks "do you know what he does?"

Harry says "well Ron send me a letter and said the brother's name is Bill. He works as a curse-breaker. He …."

Sirius interrupts Harry and says "then he works for Gringotts. Most human employees are curse-breakers or similar. Human employees are never bank security but can be for exceptions where curse-breaker are important. I also know that some human employees work for the placing of wards. Most curse-breaker are also good in placing wards as they need it in understanding curses and wards used in ancient Egypt."

"As Bill works in Egypt as a curse-breaker I suspect he works on the pyramids among other things as Egypt in the time of the pharaohs magic was more common and used for different things from curses on graves and battlefield to healing sick people."

Harry nods and he says "Ron wrote that he works on pyramids and graves of Pharaohs. None in particular though or he doesn't know."

Sirius smiles and says "All right now you know a bit more about Goblins I will tell you what I know about Gringotts before lunch and after I can go more into Goblin's jobs and interaction. Hopefully, by that time Andi has returned and she can talk if there have been any differences and can help us if she needs to. What I tell you to know and after lunch is things that have already happened or things that will never change."

Harry nods and Sirius starts about the history of Gringotts. With Ragnuk the first who was the best silversmith at the time and the first Goblin who gave a smith forged weapon to a non-Goblin. Sirius says that it is the sword of Gryffindor and that the scabbard has been lost to time as it was a valuable item although a lot less without the sword. Sirius talks about the special properties of the sword that made the Goblin renowned around the world as one of the best metalsmiths around the world.

Furthermore, Sirius talks about Gringotts being founded in 1474 by the King of Goblins but it is unknown who it was and even more, how they could open Gringotts as in the law it is still forbidden for full Goblins to own buildings, The law was created in the 13th century when the wizards wanted to limit the rights of half-breeds, creatures and anything else than purebloods. Many Goblin rebellions prevented from Gringotts being taken from them although not all was about Gringotts.

Sirius says "I can talk to you about all the Goblin rebellion but Professor Binns probably went on and on again over the rebellions. My advice is just to read the book you will learn a lot more and will be possible to at least pass history or magic with an A OWL score. Enough to get the OWL although not enough to go to the NEWT class."

"Harry, like I said Goblins are prideful …. creatures according to the ministry classification which I wouldn't put too much trust into it. Anyway, to not disrespect Goblins especially if you haven't shown before is to use their title to speak to Goblins. In the hall of Gringotts on both sides you have Tellers or Head Tellers and ad the head of the hall you have the Master Teller although most of the time it is the head of the Head Tellers, not a Master Teller. For now, we need to talk to him if we want to talk to your family account manager. You can call your Account Manager, Account Manager and the name for now."

"As soon as you have the Heir ring and only need to get some galleons on the left side in the hall there is a counter with a Head Teller where you can get Galleons as long as it isn't too much. You can get enough money for your school supplies as long as you don't go overboard with high-end stuff, but on the other hand, you can also use your Heir Ring but I will talk about that later. The counter is only for the more wealthy houses like House Potter is as is mine as long as you wear the Heir ring or the Lord ring."

"It seems we only have the interaction left. Now it is time for a late lunch after the late lunch we will go into greetings and endings from the conversation and I will learn to you what I know from House Potter especially pertaining to Gringotts which isn't much. Hopefully, by then Andi is home as I think she knows a bit more. Now let's get lunch."

Almost an hour later they return to the library. Dobby had made them lunch which he happily did as this time Andi couldn't stop him. Not much was said during lunch as Sirius saw the signs he saw when he talked about House Potter before when he especially skipped over Gringotts. The signs show that Harry has trouble remembering anything. Sirius can understand as it is much more and harder than school at this age also Harry gets taught anything in such quick successes and so much in a very short time while the other Heir or Heiress had weeks, months and years. Also, Harry is the only Heir left in House Potter. Another sole Heir or Heiress always had someone to help like Susan still has her Aunt Amelia Bones who is also a Bones by birth Harry has no such thing.

Sirius says "Harry this is probably the most important thing not completely related to your house when you deal with Goblins. Goblins are really good fighters as the rebellions have shown although we learn we won all. I would say we won half not more …. Alright maybe 60%. Anyway, when you greet your Account Manager besides calling him Account Manager and his name it is very respectful to give him a greeting in which you praise his warrior soul, his business skill and/ or wish him much money."

"Let's pretend you are an Account Manager. A common greeting will be like Account Manager Potter may your gold flow freely. Another one is Account Manager Potter may your enemies tremble at the mere mention of your name. I think that is the most common, especially before my vacation in Azkaban."

"Now endings are a bit more tricky especially as it is important how the meeting went and you get what you want and the Account Manager get what he wants if you need to discuss something with him. If we want to take something out of your vault then it is only concerned that you get what you want. Your family has a vault Harry you can look in but you are not allowed to take any money until you are 17."

"There are some other things you can take like jewellery and no Harry I don't mean you need to take some to give to your so-called, not girlfriends right now but I am sure when you are older and you get a girlfriend ….. or more than one you may want to grant them jewellery. I think they would like it if you grant them with some jewellery that has some meaning to you in other words jewellery out of your family vault and of course the Lady Potter ring that should be in the family vault just like your Heir ring we are going to get. I would of course also advise you to buy some jewellery sometime but that is for another time when you are older unless …..."

Harry heavy shakes his head. Sirius says "oh well. Give it some time to think about it. Although if I learned anything from James was that I will always get the girl or girls I like if I never give up. I mean the first moment he saw her he fell in love and it took him almost six years before he convinced her to give him a chance like I said when we were at the Boneses."

"Harry it is important that you never use the same greeting as the ending as that is very disrespectful. A very useful ending is may the enemies fall by your sword and the spoils of war be yours. Also never say the same thing the Goblin uses as a greeting or ending for the current meeting but you can say the same to you, Account Manager then you mean the same without saying it."

"As greetings, there are different things you can say. It depends if you are the first to greet or the Goblin does. If the Goblin does you need to answer properly with your greeting. If the Goblin greets with enemies you need to return about enemies. The same goes for gold and/ or vault."

"If the Goblin says something like may the enemies cower at your name, you can respond like and may the enemies fall by your sword it is not the only response but that should be satisfactory and it is the most common. If you see another weapon in the office on the wall I should advise using that instead of a sword."

Harry nods while Sirius takes a breath. Just as Sirius wants to continue the library door opens and Andi walks in. She asks "Harry dear how is Sirius doing?"

Harry smiles and says "Sirius is teaching me a lot. I just hope I can remember everything although I think the greetings and endings are the most important including how to treat them respectfully."

Andi says "well at least Sirius taught you what is important although I doubt that. I think you know what is important to Goblins as you are respectful."

Sirius obviously fakes hurt and says "Andi you wound me. I do my best to teach Harry all I know."

Andi crossly says "and that is the problem."

Sirius can't help but give a big smile at that. Andi sure hasn't forgotten about him and the pranks Harry's father the honourable and smitten in love Prongs, their other best friend Moony both brothers in everything but blood, the rat Wormtail and himself the deviously handsome Padfoot haven done.

Andi sits down. Sirius gives Andi a small summary of what he taught Harry until now. He tells everything about respect, greetings and endings he taught Harry.

Andi says "unbelievable I am going to say this but you are doing a good job. Although it seems that Harry is having a hard time."

Sirius says "I noticed. It isn't easy for him. Other Heirs and purebloods like Harry have many years to learn this Harry has only a couple of days."

Harry says "about that. Susan said it also but how am I a pureblood. My mother was a muggleborn shouldn't I be a half-blood then?"

Andi says "that is right Harry normally you should have been, but as your father was from House Potter and also the Heir as you are the same gender as your father you are seen as a pureblood. Also, the more traditional families will whole hardily agree as they think magic by your father made you a pureblood. There has been no evidence to prove or disprove it, there may be some truth to it but the traditional families believe it fully."

"If you were a girl or your mother was the pureblood you will be a half-blood no matter. If you were a girl and your father the pureblood. Even if you were a girl and your mother the pureblood you will still be seen as a half-blood. The same is with Nymphadora she is seen as a half-blood although I am a pureblood. Also being the Heir of House Potter proves the whole notion of being pureblood as Heir of the Most Ancient and Most Noble House of Potter. Besides that, there is also an old law that makes it so. It was in a time when more muggleborn especially girls married purebloods. Some say that Merlin made the law with magic and therefore males from pureblood fathers are purebloods but from pureblood mothers are half-bloods unless if both parents are pureblood of course."

Harry says "isn't that unfair for the girls and women. If one of the parents is a pureblood they should be half-blood or pureblood not depends on the gender of the parent who is a pureblood and the gender of the child."

Sirius says "you are right Harry. Lily was very mad when she learned about things like this. Unfortunately, most if not all of the laws heavily favour males as it was in Victorian times. While laws may be in favour of males like in the muggle world some laws are in favour of females in our world not everything is in favour of males but most are. Also, all the laws are in favour of purebloods like you Harry. There is a way to have muggleborns or half-bloods have the same as the pureblood but I think that is something for another time."

Andi says "Sirius is right Harry. Maybe we will talk about it after Gringotts tomorrow but we can better continue also before you go back to Hogwarts I will give you etiquette lessons you should have had from a young age. Even though both Sirius and your father didn't want to do while also not very good at it. It is etiquettes an Heir should know especially from a most ancient and most noble House. If you want to help half-bloods, muggleborns and others then you need to work the wizengamot if you want to change without doing it as You-Know-Who tried. Then you need to learn the etiquettes but also to not shame your House which is also very important although with how you are Harry I don't think you will. Also who you are won't hurt it and yes I do mean the-boy-who-lived."

Andi sees Harry's disappointed face. She says "Harry to us you always will be Harry but the wizarding world see you as different. While I can clearly see you don't like it together with being respectful and not arrogant and pompous like others would-be, it will help your House reputation which is almost everything that is important to sway votes in the wizengamot but also gain Allies and even have the population on your side."

Harry groans and says "I guess I can understand, but that doesn't mean I have to like it. Everyone sees me as this hero while I lost my parents on Halloween. The first year I didn't know and last year I had detention."

Andi immediately walks to Harry and hugs him. She says "dear you have lost your parents but you still got us. Sirius, Nymphadora and me."

Sirius says "don't forget Harry you also have Susan as your future wife and what about your friends and the wives you will certainly find ….. if you haven't already."

Andi let Harry go and asks "future wife? What did you do Sirius? Don't tell me you used Harry to get to Amelia Bones? If I recall correctly Amelia is the guardian of her niece with the name Susan Bones."

Sirius says "I didn't do it. James and Lily signed a marriage contract with Maximus and Alison Bones, Susan's parents. Although as you may know friends were allowed to call them Max and Alice. Alice only when the other Alice wasn't there to avoid confusion. I don't know if it was to also become Allies or other things. I do remember Harry playing with Susan. Anyway, the contract was valid but some things needed to be decided what Harry's parents and Susan's parents left open for them to decide."

"Amelia sent Harry a letter pertaining he inflating his uncle's sister. It seems Amelia wanted to talk about that. Amelia was sneaky as she only wanted to talk about that and when Susan and Harry were only for a bit Susan told him. Amelia was smart as she didn't lie."

"Susan is one of Harry's wives as per contract if Harry is the last of his house or only Heir he can have more wives for House Potter so House Potter doesn't end and as Susan is also the only Heiress she will stay a Bones and Harry beside Heir Potter will become Lord Potter and Lord Bones when he marries. With Susan, it will be Lord Bones and when Harry marries one of his wives for House Potter he will become Lord Potter if he isn't seventeen at the time he marries otherwise he will become Lord Potter at age seventeen."

Andi says "alright. I have no reason to think you lied but if you use this to get together with Amelia, you wish you have stayed in Azkaban. Harry are you happy with Susan?"

Harry says "I think so. I have no idea why she likes me but she says she does. I think she speaks the truth I think also she is happy when she found out she said.."

Andi says "alright. If you ever need help maybe I can help you, but for now, we can better continue with the lesson about Goblins. As Sirius unbelievable teaches you most of what you need to know I think you only need to know a few more greetings and endings and then you are mostly ready for tomorrow. I can go with you unless there is an emergency. I was able to take off until Monday."

Sirius says "that is great Andi, that will make it a bit easier for you to get guardianship until I am free and recovered."

Andi says "yes and I also got two potions for you both and tomorrow we need to go to the Apothecary as I couldn't get the potions that you need for a longer time as a regime without reason. But if we can get the supplies I can make the potions myself. Tomorrow morning you need to drink the potions I have been able to get and on Monday the other one."

"Now there are a few more and ending when dealing with Goblins what they will respectful and if you want to change the ministry having the Goblins support you in any way can go a long way."

"I advise you as some ending Goblins like but only use it if they use something about enemies and like many times gold. This one is certainly an ending. It is may your enemies feel only pain and steel with gold filling your coffers. Another greeting is may your gold flow like the blood of your enemies or may your vault always be full."

"When you start with the ending or even start with the greeting you can use may your gold always increase and may your enemies feel your wrath. If only enemies are concerned a very respectful way to end this meeting is may the blood of your enemies forever flow across your blade as proof of your warrior's heart. I am not sure if it is really useful for meeting about money but younger Account Managers like it the same goes for the guards if they respectfully treated you what is a common courtesy to return it to them although they barely do. I also never heard anyone say it as ending but I do know it is respectful."

Andie looks sharply but still gentle looks at Harry and says "Harry one more thing before we are done. Goblins value respect but also be trustworthy. I advise you to tell the truth when they ask something. I don't know if they have something to know when we lie as even the most cunning and therefore probably Slytherin will most of the time getting discovered."

"There are ways to lie to Goblins and it will take time for you to learn that specific ability truthfulness. Being truthful is at least as important as showing respect. I can learn the basics for that ability before Hogwarts as it is a very useful ability to have I would advise you to never lie to Goblins unless really needed. I will learn you the basics around your etiquette lessons I am sure we have the time. I think Susan will like to see you know the right etiquette and I can even tell you what to do that is not disrespectful in the wizarding world but will certainly piss off the dark and traditional families. Sirius, you will also be present for the etiquette lessons and the ability lessons as you need both."

Sirius wants to almost beg to not have to need it but when he looks into Andi's eyes he knows she would not accept a no.

Sirius thinks 'well the ability is useful and with the proper etiquette maybe I can woo Amy again. Also, I can make sure Andi doesn't go at Harry like the Blacks did although what Andi suggests my father never did but he wasn't anywhere as bad as my mother. My father didn't even hate me for becoming a Gryffindor although he wasn't pleased he did not curse me as my mother did with eventually the Cruciatus Curse while my father even listened to me about Gryffindor like James as he was a pureblood something my father put at least a little faith in. Although he didn't hate muggleborns, half-bloods or so-called blood traitors what some see as the Potters but not my father.'

'He still thinks Slytherin house is the best but he even said to me in complete confidence that Gryffindor didn't sound too bad. He said even that Hufflepuff which by most people seen as the worst house is also a house with good traits. My father was never disrespectful about any house but he was still biased about Slytherin but he was one as almost my whole family was. Merlin, I miss him.'

Sirius slowly nods and says "you are right Andi."

Andi slowly rolls her eyes as she sarcastically says "great, I am so glad you agree."

She drops the sarcasm and says gently "Harry why don't you lie down before dinner. It will help you remember everything we told you today. I hope especially the greetings and endings Sirius and I told you."

Harry says "alright Andi."

Andi hopes that one day he will call her Auntie Andi again but that can wait also Sirius told her his real Aunt doesn't like him but that can also wait. As soon as she is his guardian he doesn't have to go back and hopefully open up about his relatives he doesn't call family.

Andi says "I will make sure someone will wake you up for dinner."

Harry nods and stands up before walking to the guest room that is now his room.

13th August 1993, Tonks House

Nymfie had just come home after a very bad graveyard shift. She has breakfast as dinner and gives Harry a big hug. She doesn't know why she did it she just knew she needed it. As soon as she hugs Harry she feels many of the bad and negative emotions disappear but not everything. If she wants everything to disappear she needs to do something with Harry that he is too young for and she doesn't want to share her husband in the future.

With Susan and more wives in the future, she will not think about Harry as a potential husband at least she tries not to. Now she is also seven years older and she knows that in a couple of years it doesn't matter much but now it does.

Harry and Sirius both get a potion from Andi before they need to get dressed in the best clothes they had. Both go with the same clothes as they wore to the Boneses as the robes Dobby got from the Malfoys can draw too much attention to them. Also, Sirius hasn't taken a look at them for the chance Malfoy's family crest was sewed on the robes as that needs to be removed as it is illegal to wear robes with crests from (other) houses if you are not part of the house unless the house allows it or you are Vassals or Allies. However if the Malfoy's crest or on the robes they would be on the left side of the chest. Allies and Vassals have the crest of the Allied House or the House they are Vassals from are on other sides of the robes.

Sirius decides that he will ask Andi to look in the coming days as she has some days off work and as Acromantula silk is expensive so you need to be patient and careful to remove the crest. If you are impatient and too rough, the Acromantula silk will tear and the crest can be ripped but still on the robe. Madam Malkin can probably repair it but it will take quite a bit of time because of the Acromatula silk and if she sees the Malfoy crest it will bring her in a difficult position as she should report it and if she doesn't she will have difficult question Sirius know he can't answer satisfactorily.

He can't claim to be part of the Malfoy's as everyone know that there are only three Malfoys in England and as Malfoy from France Sirius doesn't speak French good enough to pretend he is and French Malfoys need to be reported to the ministry and one of the English Malfoy's needed to be present to get the robes.

Madam Malkin is like Ollivander although she doesn't remember who she sold robes to unless the order is unique she does remember what robes she sold and will remember the Malfoy's get robes for a French family member no doubt.

13th August 1993, Leaky Cauldron, London

It is just 11 am when the fireplace in the Leaky Cauldron turns green. Harry shots out first, followed by Sirius who at the moment used Harry's wand to glamour himself just like he did when he was at the Boneses and when they went to Andi's house.

Andi comes right after Sirius. She has been taught how to act like a pureblood lady from her young years and walks out of the Fireplace as a pureblood lady. Some patrons look at her with amazement at her looks but also at the way she acts as a pureblood but doesn't look cold or distant. However, some patrons run outside in fear as she looks a bit like Bellatrix but if you look closely she has small differences and everybody knows Bellatrix Lestrange is still in Azkaban.

Some are however afraid that Sirius Black had managed to help escape Bellatrix Lestrange in the last couple of hours that the ministry hasn't noticed yet. As Andi helps Harry up and walks out to the back. Seeing Andi walking away with Harry and a disguised Sirius any who was afraid now knows that she is not Bellatrix Lestrange as she would start throwing curses around. Also, almost everyone saw Harry's scar and thought 'why would Harry Potter, the-boy-who-lived, the saviour of the wizarding world be with Bellatrix Lestrange.

13th August 1993, Gringotts, Diagon Alley

Many people look afraid of Andi. Andi knows why and just like in the Leaky Cauldron she ignores all the stares and all the whispering. She is happy Harry is with her or she is sure she would be attacked by everyone around her…. well not all only a few who were brave enough or wanted glory. Her resemblance with her older sister Bellatrix is one of the reasons she normally only goes to St. Mungo's in the wizarding world as they know she isn't Bellatrix even though some of her patients need to be convinced what wasn't easy but after a bit, her patients relented that she isn't Bellatrix as they were just (over)protective of their (unborn) child.

They walk immediately to Gringotts. When they reach Gringotts Harry can't stop looking up. Like the first time he sees the words:

Enter, stranger, but take heed
Of what awaits the sin of greed
For those who take, but do not earn,
Must pay most dearly in their turn.
So if you seek beneath our floors
A treasure that was never yours,
Thief, you have been warned, beware
Of finding more than treasure there.

Harry sees the two Goblin guards watching him. He gives a small nod as a sign of respect before quickly joining up with Andi and Sirius who just kept walking. It seems that the counter with the Master Teller upfront is not busy. Harry guess it is as it is early in the summer, too early for most Hogwarts student to get their school supplies. Harry thinks 'I hope we have time. I still need to get the Ancient Runes and Arithmancy coursebook. I hope Hermione and Daphne agree with it… oh and Susan of course. I am at least happy Neville will join me.'

It is a few minutes before it is their turn. Sirius says "Master Teller we wish to speak with the Account Manager for the Most Ancient and Most Noble House of Potter and the Account Manager for the Most Ancient and Most Noble House of Black."

The Goblin look surprised, barks something in their own language to a Goblin and the Goblin runs away deeper into Gringotts. It takes almost 10 minutes before the runner returns with a large group of armed Goblins. The Master Teller grumpily says "follow the guards."

Andi and Sirius gave a small bow which Harry immediately copies. Andi, Sirius and Harry walk to the guards. They see there are sixteen guards. The captain says "follow."

The captain walks up front with four others. On both sides are three guards walking in a line and at the back also five guards. Harry whispers to Sirius "Padfoot is this normal?"

Sirius shakes his head but shows Harry to stop talking. Harry nods. Harry doesn't know for how long they walk until they reach a very large door that is even larger than the door to Gringotts. There is some sign on the door Harry doesn't recognize. Harry sees that Sirius looks confused. Harry doesn't know why. Andi looks indifferent to what reminds him of Daphne and sometimes Tracey.

The captain knocks on the door. He enters and closes the door. Less than a minute later he comes back and opens the door before walking back inside. Harry, Sirius and Andi walk inside. Harry marvels at the beautiful very large almost throne room but besides the chair is also the largest desk Harry has ever seen. Harry sees what Sirius mentioned about different weapons as he sees against the back wall a fearsome-looking and well maintained big battle axe.

The captain leads them to the desk and when they stand before it he says "wait here."

While the room is big only a few guards are in the room. Of the sixteen guards that escorted them here only six enters the room including the captain. In total, only a dozen guards are in the large room. All except the captain have spears in their hands. The captain holds his hand on the grip of his sword.

They wait and after more than 5 minutes a Goblin with more guards walks in from a door Harry didn't notice when he walked in. The Goblin is dressed in the most beautiful and probably expensive armour he has ever seen while still looking like a normal although expensive business suit.

He glares over the desk and says "it is about time, Mr. Potter. You were supposed to be here when you were eleven. Yet you arrive and leave without even asking for Bloodtooth, your Account Manager."

Harry bows and says "sorry Sir Goblin I didn't know I had an Account Manager until very recently. Oh yes … maybe your gold always increases."

The Goblin asks "how is that possible? We send you monthly updates on your trust vault and your family vault. And before you call me Sir Goblin again, I am King Ragnarok, the sixth from the Goblin nation."

Andi, Sirius and Harry bow. Harry says "I am sorry King Ragnarok. However, I never received anything from Gringotts regarding my Account Manager of the statements you describe."

Ragnarok says something in Gobbledegook, the Goblin tongue and two guards leave through the door the King came through. Nothing is said until they return with another well-dressed Goblin although not as good as the king.

He asks something the King and the King responds. That keeps going for a bit before the king looks at Andi, Sirius and Harry again. He asks "Mr. Potter do you have any idea who your current guardian is?"

Harry says "I think it is Professor Dumbledore but he also never mentioned it. The only one who ever mentioned Gringotts and who came here with me was Hagrid the gamekeeper of Hogwarts. He also has my key to my trust vault?"

Ragnarok asks "you don't have your key?"

Harry says "no. The first year Hagrid had it and last year Mrs. Weasley had it. She gave it to me before she suggested she would keep it for safekeeping."

Sirius says "Harry no one else should have your key unless you allow it or is your guardian. Neither Professor Dumbledore nor Mrs. Weasley is your guardian and as you say it you didn't allow it."

King Ragnarok says "he is right Mr. Potter. But first let me introduce you to Account Manager Bloodtooth, the account manager of the Most Ancient and Most Noble House of Potter. His clan has been in charge of your House account for many generations. Now, who are those people with you?"

Harry says "of course where are my manners. The lady is Andi… Andromeda Tonks. The man is uhhhhhh."

King Ragnarok says "yes?"

Harry looks at Andi. She nods. Harry looks at Sirius and he also nods.

Harry says "next to me is my godfather Sirius Black."

Sirius takes a step forward and bows. He says "forgive me, King Ragnarok, for this disguise but as you undoubtedly know I am seen as an escaped convict."

King Ragnarok waves with his hand and within a second Sirius is surrounded by ten of the twelve guards. Nine of them have the spears aimed at his throat and the tenth one the captain has his sword drawn and stands in front of Harry to protect him. The guards that came in with Ragnarok have taken a defensive position close to Ragnarok.

Ragnarok says "I appreciate that you speak the truth Mr. Potter as we know it was Sirius Orion Black the third, the moment he passed our threshold. However, as I want the truth the guards would prevent him from leaving if he didn't ask for his Account Manager or yours as your godfather especially if you were with him what you are."

Ragnarok says "I do want to know what happened Sirius Black. I don't care how you escaped Azkaban, but I do want to know what really happened on Halloween night in 1981. If you don't want to tell anything I am sure to get the truth out of you. So I give you the chance to explain yourself as James and Lily Potter trusted you to be Harry Potter's godfather."

Sirius says "of course Ragnarok. If you please allow Harry or Andi to remove the glamour I will prefer to explain when I am looking like myself."

Ragnarok allows it and Andi cast 'Finite Incantatem'. Sirius turns into himself and thanks, Andi. He wants to tease her but the spears are pointed at his throat and the captain ready to protect Harry stops him.

Sirius tells everything but to not lie he didn't say whether Pettigrew died or not. Ragnarok and Bloodtooth talk until Bloodtooth nod and leave the room. Ragnarok moves his hand which the guards seem to understand as all the guards lower their spears and move back to the sides of the room to their former position. The captain removes his hand from the grip of his sword and moves also back to his position from before.

Ragnarok says "I see you tell the truth. As expected you are innocent as you were never convicted what we know of course. May I ask why you were in Azkaban as you were never convicted?"

Sirius says "that may be my fault a bit. After the battle with Pettigrew, I kept muttering it was my fault James and Lily died as making Pettigrew the secret keeper was my idea. They may have seen it as a confection including being from the Black family who believes in the purity of blood with the staunched supporter my mother with my brother who wanted nothing more than make his mother proud they probably believed I was one too. I didn't get a trail and was left in Azkaban to rot for twelve years."

Sirius starts feeling anger and irritation getting overhand. His Occlumency shield has long been broken and he hasn't been able to build even the tiniest defences. He will need a long time to be to what he has been before but with the Lord Black Ring he will get a protection by the ring and he will have time to rebuild his shields.

Ragnarok sees Sirius and says "Sirius Black I understand your anger however I advise you to keep your calm. You are out now and I can assure you that we the Goblin Nation do not see you as a prisoner, have no intention to capture you and return you to the ministry unless you attack us but then the ministry may need to collect your corpse if they even want to collect you."

It takes several minutes and Sirius looks at Harry and Andi, revenge on Pettigrew and thinking about Remus and Amy which slowly decrease his anger and irritation. When Sirius is finally calm Bloodtooth had already returned with two boxes.

Bloodtooth had put the two boxes on the desk and had taken a seat on a chair that was a little lower than King Ragnarok's chair clearly showing his standing below Ragnarok but that is no surprise as Ragnarok is the Goblin king.

Ragnarok says "Bloodtooth here has got the House rings. Sirius Black, I think we should start with you as you are the oldest male."

Ragnarok opens a box and gives the box to Sirius. Andi and Harry can see there are five rings in it.

Ragnarok says "Sirius Black as the last male from the Most Ancient and Most Noble House of Black you are Lord Black. While your younger brother was pushed forward by your mother to become Lord Black your father never disowned you. He never signed anything to disable you to become Lord Black so I don't know if he even wants to but by this, you are Lord Black please take the left ring. I think I should mention that Malfoy has tried to give us the Lord and otherwise the Heir ring but as you weren't convicted we didn't give it to him."

Sirius grabs the ring, places the box back at the desk and put it on his ring finger, on his right hand. The ring resize. The ring gives a small glow when suddenly a dark light comes from the ring, engulfs Sirius before entering him through his chest and a big part of the light went back into the ring.

Ragnarok says "the House and ring accept you, you are now Lord Black. Congratulations Lord Black."

Ragnarok closes the box and put it back on his desk beside the other box.

Ragnarok looks at Harry and says "and now you Mr. Potter."

Ragnarok opens the box and gives it to Harry. Harry looks in the box and sees five rings just like from House Black.

Ragnarok says "Mr. Potter you can wear the Heir ring and that is the middle ring from the five."

Harry grabs the ring and feels familiar magic like he has felt it before but Harry doesn't know when or where. He recognizes it is almost the same as when he met Sirius and when Professor McGonagall wanted him to call her Minnie but still different. The ring feels more familiar than when he met Sirius or the memory of Professor McGonagall.

Harry put the box down and looks at the ring in his hand. He put it on his ring finger, on his right hand. Harry takes a step back when suddenly the ring starts to glow very brightly. Harry can't stand it and falls to his knees. Harry falls forward barely able to not fall face forward onto the ground. The light slowly starts to die down. A large bright light went through Harry's chest before it disappears. Harry stumbles to get up. Sirius holds out his hand and Harry takes it. Harry feels two burns on his arms and when he looks he sees light through his bottom-up shirt.

Harry immediately pulls up his sleeve until the tattoos are free for everyone to see. The moment both weren't covered anymore a large magical power burst out of the tattoos but doesn't hurt anyone. However, it severely drains Harry's magic. The moment the magical power burst free Harry falls to his knees again. Within a second an owl appears on his left shoulder and a snake appears coiled around his right arm with the head of the snake on Harry's right shoulder.

Sirius and Andi recognize the owl and snake. It is Hedwig and Athena. Andi and Sirius do notice a few differences from the last time they saw them this morning. Hedwig has a large black lightning bolt on her chest and black lines around her eyes that make it look like she wears glasses in the shape of her eyes.

Athena on the other hand doesn't have her two fangs anymore she now has many fangs everyone sharp enough to pierce flesh and maybe even most of the armour wizards and witches wear. Athena cannot bite through the metal the goblins wear and some armour wizards and witches wear maybe protect them but it wouldn't be by much.

Also from the top of her head all the way to her tail on her back is a large (dark) green lightning bolt that looks like the colour of her skin and has almost the same colour of eyes as Harry instead of her normal yellow eyes.

Hedwig and Athena are ready to strike anyone who their owner and master don't trust. Inside the room, Harry only trusts Sirius and Andi. Hedwig and Athena know that. Sirius again helps Harry to his feet. Harry says in a small voice when he looks up at Sirius and then looks at Andi "Padfoot and Au….. Andi, I am very tired."

Sirius says "I know Pup just try to stay awake. We will call Dobby when we are done so you can go home. Andi and I will get everything you need for your 'new' electives and some things Andi needs. Dobby will take care of you until we return and if you really need something Dobby can bring us a message."

Andi says "if Dobby is needed Nymphadora will look after you I am sure. Kreacher may even look after you as he listens to me as a Slytherin Black and as I see you as my family he will probably too as Sirius his master also sees you as his family. You are as his godson and he that he cares about you but also by your grandmother. It is only if Nymphadora and Dobby have other things to do or are unable to do so."

Harry says "I will try Padfoot and Aun….. Andi."

Ragnarok says "let me assist."

Ragnarok waves his hand and two chairs appear while between them a single bed appears.

Ragnarok says "Heir Potter can rest there as I understand it takes a lot of power for someone as young as you Heir Potter. While he takes a rest Lord Black and Madam Tonks can discuss House Potter and after that House Black. Heir Potter, do you allow Lord Black and Madam Tonks to act for House Potter?"

Harry nods very sleepily and says "I do King Ragnarok."

Andi grabs Harry and helps him to the bed. As soon as Harry hit the pillow he falls asleep. Hedwig has taken her position at the headboard and Athena has coiled on Harry's chest.

Ragnarok says "now Lord Black. I expect that because of your position current situation you want to pass the guardianship to the next one possible as that would be Madam Tonks. The will can be reopened by you Lord Black as Heir Potter gives you and Madam Tonks to act for House Potter."

Sirius asks confused "reopened?"

Ragnarok nods and says "yes, Chief Warlock has sealed the will for the protection of Harry Potter and his guardian. By law, we had no other choice but to do so. We suspected that when Heir Potter would be here on his eleventh birthday he will come with his guardian and reopened the will."

"I had my suspicion when Dumbledore wanted access to the House Potter family vault. We never allowed him not even what Heir Potter can get from the House Potter family vault, but unfortunately, we couldn't prevent Dumbledore from entering Heir Potter's trust fund and taking money for the care of Heir Potter."

Sirius asks "can we please open the will?"

Ragnarok nods when Bloodtooth shows a parchment with the Chief Warlock seal and Gringotts seal on it. Ragnarok touches the Gringotts seal and the Chief Warlock seal. The Gringotts seal breaks. The Chief Warlock seal remains but only by halve.

Ragnarok says "now Lord Black you must proclaim as the godfather of Heir Potter to open the will and touch the Chief Warlock seal. After that, the House Potter seal must appear and again proclaim to be Heir Potter's godfather and he allowed you to act as House Potter at this time."

Sirius did as Ragnarok said and less than a minute later the will is open. Before Sirius opens the will Bloodtooth says "Lord Black before you open the will we need to give you this ring that was made for the time there would be a Regent for House Potter. It is very uncommon and to my knowledge, only House Potter has ever made a ring for a Regent Potter. Dumbledore may be seen as Regent Potter but we of Gringotts know it is not so, the ministry seems to believe Dumbledore is by a fake parchment."

Andi says "sorry to interrupt Account Manager Bloodtooth but I have seen the parchment or better said fake will and every spell to see if it is fake showed it wasn't a fake. The spells showed it was an official will verified by Gringotts."

Ragnarok looks mad but Bloodtooth looks furious. Bloodtooth says "that is impossible. Account Managers are the only ones besides the king who can verify wills and only from the House they are Account Managers from. Anyone else who does it for a House is against the law in Gringotts and is seen as high treason. Someone else but the Account Manager can only be done with the Account Manager present and allowed by the King and if the King requests it the King must also be present. For House Potter, I think King Ragnarok want to be present to see that everything goes right."

King Ragnarok nods. He says "I have not been present for no such thing. Mrs. Tonks do you still have the parchment?"

Andi shakes her head and says "no King Ragnarok. Professor Dumbledore took it back for the chance the wizengamot would question his guardianship. I voiced my concern with all his responsibilities to take care of a child but he said that he would be able to take care of Harry and that is also why after Sirius and Alice he was made guardian."

"He did say that I was the seventh and last choice and it showed in the fake will what made me very sad. I know I will not be above Sirius or Alice but I suspect at least in the first five. I would like to see the will if I really am the third guardian as I would be more than happy to take the guardianship over Harry even if it is temporarily until Sirius is cleared as he should be."

Sirius looks at Andi with a large smile. Normally he would tease like I know you love me, but this isn't time. Sirius put the Regent ring on, on the same finger as his Lord Ring. He never wondered when James mentioned it and will the ring may not have any magic unless making it invisible and able to merge it with other rings as he sees happens to his Lord ring, the meaning that it symbolises is powerful and Sirius now knows why House Potter have one. He thinks that he should make one if the need ever arises like the Regent Potter ring is centuries-old made in the time that Lords were killed in battle or by assassinations in the middle ages.

Bloodtooth gives Sirius the will. Bloodtooth says "we also got a recording from the will but I think it is better to only give you the will to read to not disturb Heir Potter if he wakes up and hears his parents' voice. James and Lily Potter used the self-writing quill but stunned it near the end to say some things Heir Potter should know but not from the will also it is also that not everybody who will get their hands on the will should now at least that is what they told me as I was present as their Account Manager and King Ragnarok was also present as House Potter treated us with enough respect to be respected in the goblin nation."

Sirius nods and says "thank you, Account Manager Bloodtooth. Is it possible to have a copy for Andi and to take one to our home after the meeting while the original will go to the Family Vault with a valid copy in Harry's trust vault?"

Bloodtooth waves his hand and says "that should be no problem. I can understand Lord Black if you would want to use it as it will prove your innocence however I advise you to do not until you will get a trial as since this morning a kiss on sight order has been issued by Minister Fudge. Some obscure law gives him in times of crisis like what they believe you are to act without going through the wizengamot who is in summer recess right now. Also you Lord Black showing up with another will from the Potters even valid one will find almost no support after Chief Warlock Dumbledore has shown another fake but somehow valid will."

King Ragnarok says "don't worry Lord Black we will find the traitor and make him talk if he at least lives long enough for it. I would love to get the real will to the wizengamot but as Goblins they wouldn't even look at it or consider it to be true. Also normally even as Regent, you can't ask for a valid copy to be placed in a vault, but as Heir Potter is the last of his line you can ask for one valid copy. I see no way to get you acquitted soon no matter if you got Houses to support you. You need some real proof to get you acquitted something they can't deny, destroy or lose it. Something that can clear you or at least get reasonable doubt so the kiss on sight order will get revoked and you get your trial."

Sirius nods and says "I have an idea that would prove my innocence but I don't be able to do it yet as I should first see an …. old friend first and …. convince him to come with me. Maybe another old but good friend will help me."

King Ragnarok nods and says "when you are ready and have everything you need let Heir Potter write us. Use his blood and a wax seal with his ring and we can provide another valid copy for House Potter. Normally we would never but you must be happy House Potter got a nice standing in our society. I advise both of you to also to start treating us with respect although I must so far you are on a good way."

Andi says "thank you, King Ragnarok. If you won't mind I would like to see the real will."

King Ragnarok nods and Bloodtooth waves his hand to make a copy of the will. Andi and Sirius both get one copy and start reading.

James wants me to tell you that he thinks the first priority is to get new brooms for the flying class. While I don't want to agree to that it may be a good idea as the brooms were horrible. It is a wonder nobody got hurt although for some it was barely. I know if James did any of his flyings on the school brooms he would have died.

Next Professor Flitwick after your great tutelage and even vesting a lot after we left school although not as much as Professor McGonagall we also enjoyed having you over. I let you some charms work not related to Healing spells or charms and request if you help Alice with the healing charms or if the worst comes to happen take a look at it yourself and try to make them work although I think I am close to making the non-healing work and Alice and I are almost as close to the new healing spells. We also leave you 75.000 Galleons also for your retirement and give you the same advice I gave Professor McGonagall regarding Harry.

We leave everything else, vaults, properties, jewellery, paintings, shares if not more to our Heir and beloved son Harry James Potter to take his Heir ring when he starts getting taught and to take his Lordship of House Potter and the age of 15 after his OWL's if he betrothed, passed OWL's and the guardian deem him worthy and at age 17 get the Lordship of Peverell and Lord Potter if he didn't get it before.

Amelia, we would love it if Harry grows up with you and Susan but we can understand that now being Susan's guardian it will be too hard to raise two children also if Sirius becomes Harry's guardian you will probably see Harry a lot,

I will never admit this but Amelia believes me or not but Sirius is growing up although barely. I hope if Sirius becomes Harry's guardian that he will grow up to be a man just like James did and before you say anything James I know you mostly did it to impress me. I am also afraid to say it worked.

We ask everyone to allow Remus Lupin to visit Harry as the honourable uncle. I think he sees Harry partially as his cub you will understand. If you don't know why he can't take Harry you can ask him. If he decides to tell you or not is his decision. If he tells you no matter what you think he is one of the most wonderful and kind-hearted people you will ever meet. we know and will never hurt Harry or his friends and family.

Harry dear never forget we love you with all our heart. We mean everything we said and never stop loving you even if death. Everything we said that the orb recorded and your godfather have heard is all true.

Yes, my son. We love you and hope that you never have to read this and hear our voice over the orb and I can be the one to teach you about our house and teach you pranks even if your mother won't like it. I am sure Padfoot, Moony and I can teach you enough just never tell your mother.

We let everyone believe it was Sirius Black as extra security. We do not mention his name for his protection. However, if Padfoot or Moony point their wand below this and give the Marauders oath the name will appear.

Bloodtooth says "that is right Lord Black but for your, my King and my protection some parts of the will are hidden in our mind almost like the Fidilius charm but not the same obviously. There are two ways to protect the information in our minds. The first is with a password or in other words and a certain word or phrase that needs to be said to remember and the second way is in this case when someone talks about the memory that has been hiding in your mind even if only parts were hidden. While you remember the will it may take some time before you fully understand what has been said and there could still parts be hidden from the will as I still don't remember what was said in the recording."

Sirius think for a minute before he said "you are right. I also don't remember that."

King Ragnarok says "I also do not, but as James and Lily Potter asked it, I agreed to it as House Potter is respectable and I gave them the chance to improve their standing although they have one of the highest standings for a wizarding family in our society."

Andi hasn't said anything but is silently crying. It is true, all that Sirius said is true she is the third guardian for Harry. She should have been there for him, She should have put up a stronger stand against Dumbledore.

She thinks 'everything that has happened to Harry is all my fault even though I have no idea how bad it was. Never, never again will I let that happen no matter what I need to do. I don't care if I need to strangle Dumbledore with his own beard. If that is needed for Harry I will do it within a heartbeat.'

Sirius thought Andi would be cross with him as he ended up in Azkaban and threaten him to not corrupt Harry now that he is free. Sirius sees Andi crying and immediately stand before he walks toward her and give her a big hug. Andi will never allow that unless how she is now. She hugs him back using her cousin to console her especially as she had also noticed something happened to Harry at the hands of his relatives but just like Sirius she has no idea.

Sirius says "I you give us a couple of minutes if you allow me to show what is hidden by the Marauders Motto you can see that everything I spoke is the truth. It may not be allowed in the wizengamot but I am happy that at least a few people will know a complete truth."

Bloodtooth and Ragnarok nod before Ragnarok says something in Gobbledegook to a younger goblin without Armor. Sirius thinks 'it must a runner what Gringotts use messengers and also to get things.'

Bloodtooth and Ragnarok are talking in a low voice in their own language to not to be overheard. The goblin runner returns a couple of minutes later with a tray in his hand. King Ragnarok and Bloodtooth stop talking.

Let's end here for now. It took a bit of time mostly as in my country many things went open again after Corona vaccinations percentage reached a certain point. Also, both the main (co-)creator and I have a busy time.
