Chapter 02

Family and Christmas First, Dark Lords Second.

With the prospect of lessons and training, Jasmine's human mind was drawn out stronger than it had been. Jasmine decided it was time she worked on training and teaching her own children. She was worried they would be horribly behind, due to their apparent rapid aging, yet still being only two and half months old. Which, as she knew, would not end well If they got to looking twenty some odd yet only had the mind of a five-year-old.

Thankfully, Jasmine had a simple place to start from. Control. Maintaining a human or animal form without accidently slipping between their two forms. Not an easy thing to do, when changing between forms was as simple as breathing for the four of them. Jasmine did not need to think about it before she had shifted from two legs to four and back again. She simply was, whatever she wanted to be. So, controlling this change was something even she needed to learn to do. Meaning even as she was teaching it to them, she was having to learn to apply the lessons to herself.

Explaining this to them was not as straight forward as she wanted either. Without a firm grasp of English or even general understanding of what she wanted, her attempts to get her point across was very limited. The best she could do, was try and keep them in one form for as long as possible, till they could go all day as either a dog or human. She tried doing this by also leading by example, not changing unless she had to. Though like the kids she had slip ups along the way. At least in the safety of the Granger household, these were not a big problem.

As she worked on their control over their form, Jasmine also worked on their understanding of the English language. Names, words, and phrase were taught to them as best she and the others could. But like with controlling their changes, the first two weeks were slow going. As they simply did not quite understand the need to learn these things just yet. Thankfully, even if they did not understand the need just yet, the lessons were beginning to sink in by the end of the second week. Lily and Rose were the first to really grasp the concept, and soon realized asking for stuff got it a lot faster than their whimpering and begging could. And once James realized the same thing, they became a lot more eager to learn not only how to speak, but control their appearance.

Sirius and Lupin, after the second week began to help teach the kids as well. First under the watchful eye of either Jasmine or Anna. Jasmine in particular was extremely scared of leaving her children alone with either Lupin or Sirius. It was an irrational fear she knew, yet she had to fight her instincts not to growl at the pair anytime they got close to her children for the first few days. She learned the reason to this a while afterwards, once she had thought ask Samual and Anna about her odd feelings.

The long and short of it, was that male dogs would often kill the puppies of a female dog. As it would put her into heat. Meaning he could get rid of potential rival dog's children, while also making some of his own. As such female dogs tended to be extremely fierce and vicious towards any male dogs till the puppies had at least been completely weaned. With how mixed up the ages came with Jasmine's own children; it was not surprising that this behavior was still being triggered even if she knew there was no danger.

Thankfully by the end of the week. Jasmine's need to keep an eye on the kids, whenever the pair was about, had worked itself out. She still checked on them regularly, but not to the degree that she had been. Which allowed her to leave the house fully for the first time in three months. Anna and Jasmine both left to go to Gringotts bank with her keys along with a bunch of paper work. As though Sirius had been helping with the kids, he had also been working with Jasmine to understand how to handle her money.

It turned out the vault she had been using, was not the main Potter family vault, but a trust vault set up for her to cover for her schooling. It would be refilled each year, while a small portion of funds would be taken out of the main vault to pay for her schooling. She could claim the main vault if she wanted at any time after she turned eleven, though it was very rare for this to happen. As normally a child's parents would not give control or full access to the vault till, they were of age. But as Jasmine was without her parents, she could claim it as soon as she needed to.

In the meantime, it was under the control of Albus Dumbledore. It would have been under the control of Sirius Black, as Jasmine's godfather, but as he had been in prison so long, legal responsibility had been given to Dumbledore to safeguard it. Something, Jasmine found out, he had done rather well as all accounts were in order, and investments correctly brought in. While all items that had part of the vaults records were in the vaults safely accounted for. He might not have personally oversaw the accounts, but the Goblin he had hired to maintain and look after the Potter family vaults, had sure done his job well.

It seemed Jasmine, while not having access to any house due to most being destroyed during the last blood war. Did however have access to a very large sum of money and several plots of lands she could build on. At the very least she could buy a house, and fill it as she wanted without worrying about making payments on it. If she was really careful, she could even put her kids and possible grandkids through school at Hogwarts and still have money to spare, assuming more money did not come in and new investments were not made.

Jasmine as such left the goblin, one Gridhook in charge of her accounts till she could spend more time learning from them. While also thanking him for the tutoring he was willing to give her so she could one day if not maintain all the investments, at least understand them. It also helped that he seemed a younger Goblin, and was more open to working with wizarding kind. He was also very interested to learn about how Harry had become Jasmine, and what it might mean magic wise. As though he was an accountant, he loved to study odd magics. Something Jasmine was keen to learn about as well.

By the end of the third week, it was time for Hermione to finally come home. The plan, at least for the moment. Was they would not focus too much on magical lessons till Sirius and Lupin set up a private Floo access between the Granger's house, and Sirius's own home. As though they could get away with a lot at the Granger's house when it came to lessons. IT was best to leave any actual magic use to Sirius home, which would mask any spells they cast, and make it impossible for the Ministry of Magic to know if they were casting spells outside school or not.

Jasmine went with the Granger's to pick up Hermione as she got off the train. She was wearing illusioned items, that would hide her canine features allowing her to be out in normal public for once. The kids were home with Sirius and Lupin watching over them as they played with a new set of dog chew toys that Jasmine had gotten them. The fact all four of them enjoyed playing and chasing after a ball, had left Sirius laughing for hours afterwards.

Jasmine was the first to spot Hermione as she came through the barrier, along with the Weasleys. She pointed Hermione out to Hermione's parents and the pair quickly hurried over and hugged their daughter. Jasmine however, hung back, she could see the look Ron had in his eyes still as he glanced about for her. And it unsettled her. She could easily smell his desire, even across the smelly station that was Kings Cross.

She understood his desire, and even lust. Harry had after only been human, and had been very much a male teenage boy. So, lusting and wanting after a girl was something she had known. And the girls she had used to look after longingly for moments, have even given him winks of teasing understand once and a while. It was perfectly normal thing for it to happen. Yet, the fact that she had still been a male at one time, still made it feel extra weird for her. It did not matter if she had in a manner of speaking had sex, and had given birth, it still felt weird. Specially from what was her best friend that was now lusting after her. She was sure if given a bit of time, she would get used to it and he would calm down some so it was not as bad. But for the moment, she was still hesitant to go near him.

Thankfully, Mr. and Mrs. Weasley soon showed up and took their four kids away. While Hermione and her own parents came towards Jasmine so they could head back to their own house. Jasmine surprised Hermione by hugging her, before Hermione had a chance to begin her own hug. This got a look of surprised from Hermione, but also a large smile as she returned it.

Though as they got into the car, and Hermione was finally able to really begin talking things began to go downhill. Hermione it seemed in the few weeks they had been apart, had drawn up timetables and all sorts of study plans for Jasmine. And judging by it, Jasmine would not have much if any free time for herself, or more importantly, for her kids. Still Jasmine smiled and nodded along as she listened to Hermione go on for a while about her plans. Only Anna seemed to notice that Jasmine was not really into it, and had a very good guess why.

Thankfully, Hermione was soon talking about other things as they reached the Granger's home. The main topic of which, was the new Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher, one Deloris Umbridge. Who it seemed used to work directly under Cornelius Fudge. And had been placed in Hogwarts not to just spy on the school, but also make sure they were not learning spells that might cause a problem for the Ministry of Magic. Something Jasmine was surprised to learn, as it seemed in the time she had been cut off from the world, not only had Fudge doubled down on the fact Voldemort could not possibly be back, but had gotten into his mind that Dumbledore was going to replace Fudge in office with himself.

This talk, and the news from the magical world that Jasmine had been out of the loop of for the last six months lasted for the rest of the day. Harry or Jasmine's disappearance had caused quite a stir in the community when he had not returned to the school. And Dumbledore had been struggling to keep the fact Harry was missing a secret from the public. The Order of the Phoenix, a group formed by Dumbledore to confront Voldemort last time, were one of the few who knew Harry had been really missing and had been in the process of trying to find him. At least till Anna's letter had reached McGonagall about what had happened.

The next day, Hermione had not moved forward with her plans to get Jasmine's training to begin yet. Both because she wanted to spend time with her family, and because the kids who by now could talk in near full sentences, wanted to spend time with her. It was a calm and relaxed day, though Jasmine kept on glancing at Hermione with a bit of worry every now and again as she remembered her plans for training. Anna and Samual both caught these looks, and decided it was best of they talked with Hermione one more time, before she really dove into working with Jasmine.

"So, are you sure about this? Are you sure you know what you are getting into?" Anna asked Hermione later that night.

Jasmine In another room listening in as she slowly rocked the tired Lily to sleep in her arms. Lily had been had a 'scary' dream the first night Hermione had been back, and had wanted Jasmine by her side as she fell asleep. Jasmine could not say no to her girl, especially as she was so young. Still though, even with her attention focused on slowly rocking her child to sleep, she could hear Hermione and Anna talking easily.

Her large ears made it impossible to not hear what was going on around the house. Anna and Samual knew this by now, and had tested just how good her hearing really was. Short of whispering on the other side of the house, the only real safe way to make sure Jasmine could not hear them was to head outside where the walls provided more than enough sound proofing to keep Jasmine from hearing anything. As it was, she still tried to avoid paying attention to stuff that did not involve her, though she could not help it now.

"Mom, I am sure about this," Hermione said, sounding rather taken aback by the question.

"I know you think that, but I want to know if you have really thought this through," Anna said.

"Mom I…" Hermione began but Anna cut her off.

"Hermione. I heard all your plans when you came home. Yet, you seemed to have forgotten something very important. You are not Just teaching Jasmine; you are going to be helping her raise her family. Her children will come first, before school, before lessons, before even you. Jasmine will think about her kids needs first, and her own second. Meaning your lesson will be disrupted constantly, especially as you have them right now," Jasmine could hear the seriousness in Anna tone as she spoke, and was rather glad someone had stepped in.

Anna continued, her tone firm, "Raising kids is not an easy task nor is it something you can only give part of your time to. It is a full-time job with just one child, and Jasmine has three. I need to know if you are really ready to give up school and become if not a mother, at least a live-in aunt to those children. Because if you cannot help put their needs before yours or Jasmine's own, I will send you back to Hogwarts. You need to make this choice, and if you don't think you can, we all will understand. This is not an easy choice to make, and I know Jasmine would not blame you if you returned to school rather than stay here."

"I…" Hermione began but stopped and fell silent as she clearly began thinking.

Jasmine smiled as she felt a bit of joy at Anna's helping her. She had been so confused at how she was going to explain to Hermione that her lessons were just impossible. She never would have been able to explain it as well as Anna had, though she supposed that Anna was speaking from experience. Raising Hermione could not have been much easier than raising one of her own children. Added to that the oddness of being a witch, without knowing about magic would have made life very interesting to say the least.

Adjusting the now sleeping Lily, Jasmine wondered just what it was that going through Hermione's mind. Yet she had a shrewd guess what it was her thoughts were. Hermione was weighing her own life and desires, against that of her own friends. It was no real secret that Hermione aimed to be the top of her class in everything. Yet if Hermione took on this job, she might have to give up on this desire to be the best. Could Hermione really do that for her friend? Jasmine wanted to say yes, but she was not sure.

"You know, Jasmine is not likely going to return to school even after this year," Anna said softly into the silence.

"Really?" Hermione questioned in shock.

"Even with our help, Jasmine has shown no desire to be anywhere but with her kids. And I don't just mean myself and your dad helping, but Remus and Sirius to. Jasmine has only left this house twice now, once to deal with Gringotts business, so she could make sure she could afford to pay and cover herself and her kids. And when we went to pick you up. Really, the outside world currently holds nothing she wants, outside her friends. What she desires is already here," Anna said, sounding almost proud of the path Jasmine was following.

"A family," Hermione said softly, almost to herself as she spoke, "Harry saw his family in the mirror. What he desires most was a family. And now she has one."

Jasmine could feel the silence grow after she heard those words. It seemed Anna was giving Hermione some time to think. Not just to plan as she had been doing up to this point. But really think on what it was she wanted from life. What she wanted to be doing.

"Mom," Hermione began, sounding hesitant at first, yet with the assuredness Jasmine had come to know that told her Hermione was going to follow through with what she said next, "I want to be here. You are right, the kids need to come first, and my friend might not need me, but I want to be here with her for whatever comes. I want to help her raise her kids, and be part of her family as well. If it means our OWLs and NEWTs are a year or two late, I think I can deal with a that if it means Jasmine and the kids are happy."

"I am glad to hear you think that," Anna said softly, and Jasmine could almost see the smile and hug in her mind, before Anna continued, "Jasmine you want to come down?"

Jasmine smiled and got up, almost laughing as she heard Hermione's whispered response, "She can hear you say that?"

"She likely heard everything we have been saying," Anna said with a grin clear in her voice, "Note for the future, you want a private talk, take it outside at the least."

"Yep," Jasmine said, coming into the room carrying the now sleeping Lily in her arms.

"Little Lily decided to join us?" Anna said getting up, and carefully picked up Lily from Jasmine.

"Just rocking her to sleep after last night's nightmares," Jasmine said, adjusting her robes slightly so they were not pulled to the side as they had been.

"Well, I will keep an eye on her and the others," Anna said nodding in understanding as she carefully carried Lily back to the guest bedroom where their new beds had been set up.

"How you holding up?" Hermione asked when Jasmine sat down beside her.

"Decent. Mostly getting used to being a human again, and well this thing," Jasmine said gesturing to her tail that poking out from the end of her robes as it curled back towards her, "My tail curls so much that unless I careful, it will pull up my robes."

"My own tail caused a lot of issues back when I first changed," Hermione said comfortingly, "Madam Pomfrey and Professor McGonagall explained, tails are mostly subconsciously controlled, even if we can control them as well. Much like how we breath without thinking, yet if we start thinking about it, we can control our own breathing."

"Why did they tell you that?" Jasmine asked curiously.

"My tail would do the same thing as yours," Hermione said shrugging.

"It curled back over your rear?" Jasmine asked confused.

"I… what no, it pulled at my robes and sheets," Hermione said sounding confused.

"Mine just curls a lot," Jasmine said with a huff, "Moving it is not the problem, the thing seems always curled along my rear and back.

Hermione looked confused before Jasmine got up and changed shape, then Hermione saw what she meant. Jasmine tail as a dog when straight up and curled long back over her back. And now her statements, about the problem as a human made more sense. When she changed back, she could now see that Hermione was watching how her tail would subconsciously curl back on itself, just as it had done as a dog. Meaning she either had a massive bump at her back, or her tail pulled up her robes revealing her rear.

"We might need to modify your robes when we get you some new ones," Hermione said, as Jasmine sat back down.

"Not as simple as that," Jasmine said pouting, "When I sit down, my tail shifts to between my legs, or I would have just cut a hole in the robe and been done with it."

Hermione laughed a little and hugged her friend, still a little surprised when she did not stiffen or pull away. She was thrilled when Jasmine not only returned the hug but then began to cuddle into Hermione's lap, something helped by the fact that Jasmine was a little shorter than Hermione. This more so than anything else seemed to drive home the point, that Jasmine really had become a different person than who Harry had been. Harry did not precisely shun hugs, but neither did he really enjoy them. She could remember only a few times where he seemed to be genuinely glad to be hugged. Now as Jasmine, she seemed to draw comfort from the closeness in a way that Harry had sure never done before.

"You really are different," Hermione said out loud, as she ran one hand along her friends back.

"Having kids will do that," Jasmine joked.

"I will miss the old you," Hermione said, softly, "But, I do like this new you as well."

"The old me," Jasmine said speaking just as softly, "He is still here. Yet, I am not him. I cannot afford to be like him anymore. Reckless, bull headed, clueless and lazy. I need to be steady, smarter, and calmer for my kids, and I need to study like mad so I can raise them even if I don't get a job."

"When you were Harry, you were smart, calm, and steady. You could work hard when you wanted to, but till now you never had a goal that required that. Having children and becoming Jasmine has just forced you to reconsider things, like I have had to," Hermione with the same calm steady assurance she had often used before with her, "It might take a while, but the loveable goof I knew will show up again."

Jasmine smiled and kissed Hermione's cheek at these words, getting a very cute squeak of surprise form the girl, "Glad you see it that way."

Jasmine grinned as she glanced up at Hermione's now glowing face. Affection and gestures like that, were not something Harry had ever really understood or could handle. Jasmine on the other hand crave it. It was not just having her kids, that had caused this change in her being but also the very nature of her Animagus form. Huskies were very affectionate animals, and worked best in packs or as teams. Along with her young, and her new nature, Jasmine could not bring herself to keep people at arm's length anymore as she had used to. And it was moments like now that made Jasmine realize just what she had been missing and needing in her life.

Hermione did not ask, why Jasmine had changed, that much was rather obvious. She was however rather glad for it. She was far from the only one who had a crush on Harry or the Boy-Who-Lived. However, she was one of the few that truly knew him, and the shell he had built to protect himself. How he kept everyone, even his close friends, at a slight distance and never let himself be too vulnerable around them. His fear of hurting them, or worse being hurt by them.

There were other things that at first glance most would not have noticed, yet Hermione had over the years. Harry tended to follow the crowd or others leads in how he acted. His study habits being the best example. He was very smart, maybe not her levels, but he could have been at the top of the class had he really tried. Yet he always seemed to goof off like Ron did to fit in. And the only time when Ron had not been around for a little bit last year, Harry's grades and study habits had begun to improve drastically. Proving this point.

In short, Harry had just been emotionally stunted by the Dursley's. And without good people skills he kept people at a distance and mimicked them the best he could to fit in. She doubted he would have survived much longer emotionally had he stayed with the Dursley's. Hogwarts had really been a god sent gift to Harry. Since he had been there, he had finally begun to get in touch with his own emotions and was free to express himself in a way he had never had before. True, he was still working through years of torment, and Hermione wished she could have helped Harry more. But the process to deal with what Harry had dealt with was not a fast one, especially when it was not something she or Harry would have liked to draw attention to.

Hermione smiled down at her friend as these many thoughts floated through her mind, and adjusted herself so Jasmine could lean into her better. While Jasmine would still likely have signs of her former life still hanging over her, Hermione was not opposed to this new more open side of her friend, "I think I could get used to this."

Jasmine smiled, and leaned her head on Hermione's shoulder, "I would love to this more often. If you would like to?"

"Yes, I think I would," Hermione said, after a few moments of thought, "Though no more kisses, that is for girlfriend or boyfriends only."

Jasmine giggled and stuck out her tongue, which Hermione noticed was a fair bit longer than a normal human tongue, before saying, "Well than I shall have to fix that."

"How?" Hermione asked her tone fully of teasing playfulness, "Going to make me change my rule? Or are you saying you are going to become my girlfriend?"

"Why not both," Jasmine said, and kissed Hermione softly on the lips.

The kiss was but a second. Yet Jasmine could see it left Hermione breathless. Jasmine smiled, before her ear twitched and she got up with an apologetic look on her face. Quickly heading back down the hallway to the kid's room. She could smell Hermione's frustrated confusion at what had just happened. Jasmine had a guess what was going through Hermione's mind as well.

Jasmine knew as Harry getting close to him and pass the defenses, he had put up was nearly impossible. As Jasmine, she was much more open and affectionate that Harry could have ever been without years more time spent around people. Jasmine knew that Hermione if given half a chance would have said yes to dating her as Harry, and as Jasmine it was clear Hermione also did not have any objections.

Jasmine swayed her hips slightly her tail raising her robes for a moment as gave Hermione a tease worthy of any of the other girls. She had never had this kind of fun before, or thought of herself in that light, but it would be fun teasing Hermione till they figured out where this was going to go. Jasmine might not quite be willing to explore her body like that, but she was still willing to use it. Thankfully when Hermione followed, though she returned the tease with one of her own, by kissing Jasmine's cheek. She did focus on the issue at hand, which was learning about the children's needs. In this case, a cuddle with their mother as nightmares never really went away for small children.

Christmas break at the Granger's, Jasmine found, was something very much enjoyable. They did not go all out like Hogwarts did, yet there was a much more personal atmosphere to the festivities. Whether it was setting up the tree, cooking food, or just spending time with the family. It was all this that made Jasmine realize just how much Hermione had been giving up each time she spent the holidays at Hogwarts, and why she was so happy to head home during the summer. The fact that Jasmine and her children were becoming part of this family, if only by luck, made Hermione all the happier.

True, Jasmine knew to a small degree what a loving family was like, thanks to the time she had spent time with Ron's own family. But what she saw now compared to the Weasley's felt almost night and day. Jasmine did not doubt the Weasleys loved each other a lot, yet with so many of them the feelings got exaggerated in odd ways. Mrs. Weasley went from caring to overbearing quite easily, while Mr. Weasley tended to avoid the inter family fights unless it was something big, while letting the others come to him as needed. The twins just teased everyone, while Percy had detached himself from it. Ron seemed to be in a real completion at times to outdo his brothers, while Ginny acted as if she was out of place in the family at times. It was still clear they loved, cared and got along, yet the large family had several cracks in it that sometimes showed very clearly.

The Grangers on the other hand, likely due to being a small family, were much more in tune with the others. They could easily take time out of their day just to talk, be it about something important, or something random. They knew each other's interests or desires to a much greater degree than Jasmine had first guessed. And even Jasmine, though new to the family, was treated with a great deal of kindness and respect. Yes, she was still treated to a small degree as if she was a child, unlike with the Weasley's however, they let her make most of her own choices and give her opinion about what it was that should be done. Only stepping in when it was quite clear she needed the help, even if she did not know to ask for it.

For Jasmine, who had never had this kind of freedom before, it was a shock. Yet it was a welcome one, to be treated as the near adult she really was. And even when she made a misstep, they did not scold her, but helped show her how she had gone wrong. Anna, in particular was helping and guiding Jasmine along the best she could in order to raising her three children. Something, Jasmine would be eternally grateful for. As while she could have figure out how to raise a trio of puppies, when they were humans, Jasmine was hopeless out of her depth. She had even begun taking down notes of Anna advice, much to Hermione's amusement, to make sure she kept it all straight. The fact Hermione was copying her own notes quite amuse both Jasmine and Anna, so it was all good there at least.

"Her-my-o-nee," Hermione was saying to the three kids, trying and slowly teaching them to speak her name.

"Hermy!" James shouted, getting a giggle from his sisters.

Hermione rolled her eyes, as Jasmine chuckled, "Not sure why you bother. You know it is soon going to be 'Mommy!'"

Hermione shot Jasmine a small look. Though it was a tease, it was something Hermione did hope would one day be true. However, that day might still be months to years off if it ever did happen. And who knew when or what they would look, or act like by then. Though the fact they already referred to Anna and Samual as "Granma" and "Granpa" was a sure sign they saw them and her at least as family.

"You is mommy!" Lily said in a pointed fashion that reminded all of them of Hermione's bossy no nonsense tone.

"Oh, then what is Hermione?" Jasmine asked, in an amused tone.

"Kitty mommy!" Lily giggled, getting both a very big grin from Hermione at this, but also a small chuckle from the rest of the room.

Hermione and the others knew Lily was not really referring to her as Lily's mommy, not yet. But rather to the fact, that according to their noses, Hermione had a very cat like smell to her. It made sense, though Hermione had not known about it till Jasmine had pointed out when Hermione's pet Crookshanks had finally arrived back at the house. The reason was twofold, there was the obvious fact that she owned a cat. But also, the fact that for a little bit during her second year at Hogwarts, she had a potions accident that had left her more cat like that Jasmine was dog like. And the cat scent markers had never truly left her it seemed.

"Fine, I am kitty mommy," Hermione said a large grin on her face, "And you are my little red headed pup."

"Arf!" Lily giggled out.

Sirius poked his head into the room at the sound of the play barking, and shook his head, "Did I hear a dog bark?"

"No, just me!" Lily giggled.

"Same difference," Sirius said smiling.

James's grinning got up and ran over to Sirius and hugged his legs, "Padfoot!"

Sirius smiling even more kneeled down and lightly hugged the small child. Which got a large smile from Jasmine. Since Sirius had been stopping by on a regular bases, his whole attitude on life seemed to have changed. He was calmer, and much happier now to. True he was still a wanted criminal, yet he seemed to have begun to mature again, and think before he acted. Jasmine guessed that he like Hermione and Jasmine, realized he had to step up and be the proper father figure and Godfather they needed. Which meant he had to be there for the children, and not doing stupid stunts that might land him in jail again. It also helped that James was the most taken with him of the three kids.

"Hello little guy," Sirius said, picking up the boy and giving him a hug that got the kid laughing happily.

"Moony here?" Rose asked, being the calmest of the three, at least currently.

"He will be along shortly," Sirius said, setting down James so he could rejoin his siblings and continue their speaking lessons.

"Good, I was hoping we could finish up the private Floo connection soon," Jasmine said, as she watched the children continue their lessons.

"Well, it is all set up back at my place, we just need to finish the private link here," Sirius said, "Once that is done, we can get you back to practicing spells again."

"We just need to be careful if we bring the kids over," Hermione said, glancing at Sirius once, "I am not about to let them wander about alone. Who knows what trouble they would get into a or cause in that place."

"To true," Sirius said, shaking his head as he looked at the three children with mild worry in his eyes, "I will talk to Albus, maybe he has some ideas about how to really put a dent in cleaning the place."

"You could just hire Dobby," Jasmine suggested.

"The house elf at Hogwarts?" Sirius asked.

Jasmine nodded, "He is a free elf, he just working at Hogwarts. I bet he would be willing to make your house livable again. Even if it is as bad as you suggest."

Sirius nodded looking thoughtful, "Could work. House Elves are incredible when they want to do something. Might even motivate Kreacher to do some real work as well. Though I would not hold my breath on that happening."

Jasmine just nodded as Lupin finally showed up. He looked about as well as he had ever done, and Jasmine was just glad full moon was not for another two weeks at least. Like Sirius, since coming to visit Jasmine and her children on a regular bases, a change had been slowly worked in the man. He was still worn out and drained, but now he really seemed to have a drive in him again. Fire was lit once more in him that pushed in forward, that his werewolf side could no longer hold back. He really was a new man, and it already showed in just how he cared for himself.

"Moony!" Rose and the others said, abandoning Hermione's lessons in favor of hugging their second father figure.

Jasmine smiled happily at this. She could already tell this was going to be a Christmas she would treasure for years to come. And by the look in everyone's eyes, at least everyone that was not child, this would be a Christmas that none of them would ever forget.

What made this a day that she did indeed would treasure though, came later that evening after all the presents had been opened. Her kids were curled up around her, and Jasmine was happily cuddling with them when Samual and Sirius came over to her. Sirius was holding a small folder, and seemed to be very pleased, despite the fact he was trying to appear normal.

"Jasmine, due to your odd life, and that of the kids. We figured you would want these," Sirius said, holding out the folder for Jasmine to take.

Jasmine curious took the folder and opened it. She felt her breath catch as she looked at the first piece of paper. It was her own birth certificate. She looked at it in shock then back at the two standing before her, her hand almost shaking, she flipped the paper forward to see the next one. Each of her kids, and their proper documentation was here. Everything they would ever need magical or muggle wise was currently in this folder.

"How?" Jasmine said, to stunned to say anymore.

"A little bit of gold with the Goblin's can get a lot done," Sirius said, smiling at the look on Jasmine's face, "With everything that happened. I figured you would like having the paper work that proves they are your children. No one can take them from you anymore."

Jasmine nodded, to stunned to speak. Small tears leaked from her eyes, and it was only the kids on her lap that kept her from jumping up and hugging both Sirius and Samual. Yes, it was only a bit of paper. Yet at the same time it was much more than that. It was proof of her children being hers. It in some ways meant more than most of the other presents of the day. Setting the paper's aside for a moment she hugged her confused children close to her.

"I love all of you so much."

The day after Christmas, Jasmine and Hermione decided it was time to visit Sirius's own house so they could better figure out how they would study and practice spells at the place. They had been putting it off mostly till Hermione got settled in and Christmas had passed. Jasmine had been given the address by Sirius on a piece of paper, so she could enter the property as it was guarded by some powerful wards. Jasmine had shared the piece of paper with Hermione's parents and her own kids as well. As if worse came to worse, it would be better if they all could enter the house, rather than trying to find a place to hide somewhere else in London.

The other reason they had waited till after Christmas, was that Weasley family along with much of the Order had decided to celebrate Christmas in the house as well. Sirius did not mind to much, as the house was only a building to him. Yes, it was by definition, his house. But he cared for it about as much as Jasmine would have, had she inherited the Dursley's house. As such, most people could do what they wanted in the place as long as they did not mess around with the darker stuff his family had left behind.

It had been quite the party from what Jasmine had heard from Remus and Sirius who had checked in on and off to make sure things had not gotten out of hand. The extra excitement was the other main reason the group stayed away. As they were all celebrating the fact Harry had been found alive and well. Though the fact Harry was now Jasmine was not known to the group yet, and depending on what happened, it might just stay that way. Being known as Jasmine Granger, Hermione's girlfriend had a certain appeal to it. It gave Jasmine the one thing she had always wanted. A spot out of the lime light. Not that it would last forever, but being an unknown to most was something Jasmine had come to long for.

Arriving outside the house, Sirius showed them inside, telling them to be quiet as his mother's paint hung inside by the front door. And she had a temper and voice that could rival Mrs. Weasley when she got going, though she tended to throw insults rather than righteous anger at the wrong doings around her. They crept along, and Jasmine nose could already pick up all sorts of scents that she did not agree with. There were creatures living in this house, magical ones that needed to be dealt with.

They came across the Weasley's as they entered the kitchen. They were among the few in the Order that knew of Jasmine's changes. Mostly because Dumbledore knew that Mrs. Weasley would be able to pry the details from Ron, the moment he got home. She cared about Harry a great deal, and would fight tooth and nail to protect him. And though Jasmine did enjoy her caring nature, she could also see now more than ever that Mrs. Weasley was very overbearing in her way of raising children. Jasmine already knew she would not be letting Mrs. Weasley decide how Jasmine would raise her own children if for no other reason that she would coddle them too much.

"Harry!" Molly, Mrs. Weasley, said almost the moment she saw Jasmine enter the kitchen, "It is so good to see you!"

Before Jasmine could even respond she was enfolded in Molly's hugs. From this close, she also caught a good whiff of her scent as well. It held hints of her many children, but also foods that she seemed to always been working on and around. There were other scents as well, but none as clear as those ones that Jasmine's mind could identity, meaning the unidentified ones were uniquely Molly's own.

Molly stepped back, and studied Jasmine for a few moments, "You really are thin, you should sit down and eat."

"I am fine," Jasmine said, though she smiled, "We ate before coming over."

Ate was probably too strong a word for what had happened, as all three of the kids had played with their food to some degree requiring baths before they could leave. Still the adults of the group had at least eaten a full meal before they had started their projects for the day. Though in Samual and Anna's case that was relaxing while keeping an eye on the children who were currently spending their day as puppies as to not get out of practice in their two different forms.

"Nonsense, after having kids, you should eat a little bit more. Trust me I know," Molly said, before heading over to the table and preparing Jasmine a plate.

Jasmine just shook her head, but knew Molly was slightly right. Jasmine should be eating a little bit more, though by this point her body had mostly recovered from her time being pregnant. And as she was no longer nursing her food intact could slow down now.

Glancing about the room, Jasmine noticed the Weasley's all sitting about the room. All of them were looking at her. Arther, Mr. Weasley, was the easiest to read as he seemed happy to see her and had gotten over the shock of her appearance and animal additions quickly, and was currently talking to his wife convincing her to not add to much food to Jasmine's plate. Bill Weasley, who surprised her by being there even though she knew why he was here, seemed only mildly interested in her appearance, but was otherwise happy to see her around again.

The twins looked like Christmas had just returned for a second round. Whether this was because Jasmine was now a girl, her canine traits, or another reason she had no clue of guessing. Ron looks of longing had settled a little bit since she had last seen him, though his eyes were glued to her, and not to her face either as Jasmine would have hoped. Ginny on the other hand, looked a little it lost in how to handle this new form that Jasmine had.

Sirius smiled and led Jasmine over to the table, though he made sure to set it up so Hermione sat between Jasmine and Ron. It seemed he too had noticed Ron's looks and did not approve of them anymore than Jasmine did. It was rather funny Jasmine felt that he had already taken the fathering approach to her relationships. At least those outside Hermione.

"So, you have deemed it fit to join us," Fred said, kicking off the conversation.

"A most regal creature that you are now," Goerge said, with a small smirk.

"A true queen among is commoners," Fred continued.

"So, what secrets can you share of the fairer race, now that you are no longer a common man?" Goerge finished.

"That you two are still a pair of prats," Jasmine said rolling her eyes at their banter, as she wondered if she really should have expected anything else from them.

"Oh, you wound us dear lady," Goerge said, holding his hands to his chest in mock pain.

"Having our secret out in the open like that," Fred said, mimicking his twin own movements.

"How will we ever live it down," the pair finished in tandem.

"How you always do it. Make a joke of it," Jasmine said, though she was smiling at their antics. It seemed outside her appearance giving them new avenues for jokes, they were likely going to treat her the same as ever.

"You two be nice. And don't tease her about what happened," Molly said, bring over each of them a small plateful of food.

The twins just grinned at their mother, as they could see Jasmine had not minded it in the slightest. Yeah, her changes had bugged her, but as she viewed it, a lot more good than bad had so far come of it. And she did not regret what had happened either, specially not where her three children were involved.

"So Bill. How are you enjoying the desk job?" Jasmine asked, glancing at the oldest of the Weasley children.

"I rather be out at the tombs still, to be perfectly honest. But has been very nice returning home for a while and just hanging out, after being apart for so long," Bill said smiling.

Jasmine nodded, "Well hopefully you will be back out in the tombs again soon."

Bill chuckled, "Maybe, though by the time this is finished, I might have another reason to stay."

The hopeful look in Bill's eye caught Jasmine by surprise, and sniffing slightly she caught the scent of female in the air. One of which was not present in their group. The scent had a familiar touch to it, a warm flagrance that was both sweet and soothing. Yet Jasmine could not think of who it belonged to. Still Jasmine realized that Bill must be dating someone she had met before, the only question was who.

"Well, I wish you luck in finding the gold you seek," Jasmine said, giving him a secretive wink, before she looked at Arther, "How is work with you Mr. Weasley."

Arther sighed some at this, "Not too great. Though I am sure Hermione has no doubt told you. But Fudge is causing all sorts of problems around the Ministry. Which is of course making my job harder because he thinks I am doing stuff with Dumbledore. Which I am doing, just not in the way he thinks. Still, it is not easy doing my normal job with him causing a fuss. So I try and stay out of the office as much as possible working on things unless I have to head into the Ministry."

Jasmine nodded, as Hermione and Sirius had said as much as they brough Jasmine back up to speed on the wizarding world. With Voldemort still not making any big moves that made it impossible to dispute who had really done it. Fudge was free to keep pushing the story Voldemort was still not around. Jasmine wished she could have cared less that Fudge was being an idiot, but she knew all too well that his current actions would like affect her in the end, simply because Voldemort wanted to kill her. And if Fudge gave Voldemort more time to prepare to do that, the villain would not complain.

"So, how is school?" Jasmine asked the rather loaded question, as she had already heard and earful from Hermione alone about it.

This had the desired effect as the twins, Ron and Ginny launched into a tale about how crazy the year had been. Starting with Jasmine's disappearance, Umbridge's appearance and classes, to Umbridge's attack and slow takeover of the school. How classes had gone, and of course Umbridge's determination to locate Harry Potter. And not being satisfied with Dumbledore's answer he had been giving since term started.

"The lad decided to spend a year aboard studying. He never mentioned which school he was going to visit, but seemed to want to learn more about the other schools. At least now that he knows there are others out there," had been Dumbledore's answer.

"And she has tried questioning us several times," Ginny said sounding extremely annoyed now, "Not that we would have told her anything, even if we had known where you were."

Jasmine nodded, so much of what had been said about Umbridge was giving Jasmine a bad feeling. Not bad enough she was against trying to complete her O.W.L.s this year, but enough that she decided it would likely just be best to avoid her. Though seeing as most people did not realize who she was thanks to her new appearance, based on her last trip to Diagon Alley. Jasmine doubted even if she met Umbridge, that Umbridge would realize that she was Harry Potter in a new form.

The talk after that swung to more pleasant things, before Sirius finally decided to show Jasmine around the house. Jasmine called Dobby, who realized who she was at once, and after a few questions agreed to not only to clean the house for Sirius, but also make sure that Kreacher was not causing any trouble. The later was more just to make sure that Kreacher was not keeping any dark artifacts hidden.

After this, they went through the house one room at a time. Most showed signs of age and neglect from being unused for so long. Only one of which Jasmine refused to enter, as she could smell something still alive in the room. Sirius also let her meet Buckbeak, the Hippogriff, that Jasmine had saved in her third year at Hogwarts. Buckbeak was as fierce as ever, but seemed to be quite happy to see Jasmine, even though her form was completely different, the animal somehow knew it was still her.

"Well, the best place, would be that second-floor dining room," Jasmine said, as they returned to the kitchen which was now empty of any Weasleys.

"Agreed, we should have plenty of room to practice any spells we want. That and I doubt anyone will realize we are up there, or even in the house as long as we don't leave the room," Hermione added.

"Add a few charms to the door, and it should be safe if we need to bring the kids, Anna, and or Samual here," Jasmine said happily.

Remas nodded, he had already put the spell on the fireplace in that room, as it was the only other fireplace in the entire house. It was a little smaller than what a normal Floo fireplace would be, however as it would not be connected to the main Floo network, and would only be used by Jasmine, Hermione, or their family in an emergency, that was not a big deal. After all, this training was to be slightly secret from both the order, and other people.

Sirius was about to say something when there was a twin pair of cracks, like gun shots, as Dobby appeared along with a very old looking house-elf. They seemed to be fighting over something, and it took both commands from Sirius, as well as Jasmine and Sirius physically dragging the pair apart to stop the fighting.

"What is this about?" Jasmine asked, looking at Dobby for answers, as Kreacher was currently muttering a string of insults faster than even she could follow.

"Mistress asked Dobby to make sure bad elf was not hiding anything dark. And Dobby found a dark object," Dobby answered quickly, Jasmine would have winced at the Mistress part, if it was not for what Dobby said next as he pointed to the object on the ground they had been fighting over, "It is bad magic. Like bad master's book."

Jasmine froze, as she heard those words, the meaning of them sinking in faster than stone in a lake of water, as she asked, "Like the dairy?"

"Yes, the dark lord's book," Dobby confirmed.

Jasmine staggered back and sank down into chair feeling a heavy weight on her again as the others looked confused. Another object like Voldemort's dairy, was a horrifying thought. True it might not be related to Voldemort, but if it was anything like his dairy, then it was extremely dangerous. She could remember what it had been able to do through Ginny, how it had almost killed the girl just by being used. She knew at once it had to be destroyed, before they did anything else, and she had a good idea how to do it.

"Dobby, can you reach the chamber of secrets?" Jasmine asked, as she remembered how she had destroyed the last one, "I need you to get something for me. If not, can you help me get there, so I can grab something instead?"

"Dobby can do that," Dobby answered.

"What is going on?" Lupin cut in, before Jasmine could answer. He looked was quite clearly confused by what was going on.

"Then take me to the school," Jasmines said and held out her hand to Dobby, and before anyone else could say anything, the pair vanished.

Traveling by Elf magic, was much more comfortable for Jasmine then she had expected, and they appeared near the kitchens entrance. Dobby clearly did not know where the chamber of secrets was. However, Jasmine did and could reach it from here. Telling Dobby to follow best he could, Jasmine changed forms, so no one would realize who she was, and took off down the passage. No one spotted her as she hurried along the corridors and up the stairs. She quickly reached the commonly out of order girls' bathroom on the second floor.

Jasmine entered it, and changed back as she neared a sink. Changing back, she spoke softly the word "Open." It seemed though she had changed, the gift of Parseltongue had not been lost to her yet. As moments later the tap with snake craved into it, spun, and the sink moved out of the way. Stale air met her nose, and her new senses rejected the idea of jumping down into the hole. Jasmine however did not listen, and went feet first into the pipe that had been revealed.

She this trip was quite like the last one, and she was soon at the bottom of the pipe. Standing up, she dusted off her clothes, and looked around carefully. Nothing had changed in since she had last been down here, which was probably a good thing. Checking around once more Jasmine nodded before calling out softly.

"Dobby?"

There was a loud crack and the house-elf appeared a moment later besides Jasmine. He was looking about the place nervously. He clearly did not want to be down here, but had come regardless. Jasmine remembered how house-elves would do anything, regardless of their own personal fears for their master or mistress. On one side, it was a cruel thing, yet at others it showed a bravery worthy of any Gryffindor.

"Follow me," Jasmine said, as before she lit her wand, and led the way down the tunnel ahead of them, "It is perfectly safe now. The basilisk is dead."

"Dobby knowns that Mistress," Dobby said though he still looked worried.

"What are you worried about then?" Jasmine asked.

"This is a bad place," was Dobby's answer.

Jasmine could not fault him there. This place was certainly not someplace she had ever wanted to come back to, even for a day trip just to explore it. Still, it held the answer to a problem she had, and worries about the past was not going hold her back. She had a family to protect, and she would not hesitate to do what she needed to protect them from anyone or anything. If that meant harvesting stuff from a basilisk, so be it.

They made their way, quickly down the passage. The cave in, was still the same as ever, and had not gotten any worse. Dobby was easily able to fit through the hole Ron had made through it before, while Jasmine's dog form was able to fit through just as easily. From there it was a short walk to the door into the main chamber itself. Stealing herself against what she was about to see, Jasmine spoke the opening words.

Slow and silently the door swung open. And the pair was able to see, into the chamber once more. Entering, Jasmine was met with a sight she had not quite expected. Outside the dried blood on the ground, the room did not look any different than it had when she had left it at the end of her second year. The basilisk lay dead, as if she had just slain it mere moment ago. Only the dried blood on the ground hint to the time that had passed. It was eerie seeing the monster she had faced still looking just as it had when she had last looked back, and now Jasmine really agreed that being down here was not a good idea.

"We need a couple of fangs, then let's get out of here. Just be careful that venom will kill us with only a few drops," Jasmine said, glancing to the side, she noticed the broken one she had used before.

"Yes Mistress," Dobby said, as he set about with magic carefully removing a fang from the dead creature's mouth.

Jasmine, leaving him to it for a moment, went over and picked up the broken fang she had used all those years ago. She did not doubt its venom might still be just as potent as it had been all those years ago. As such she handed it careful, before carefully carrying it back to where Dobby was pulling the second tooth slowly free of the snake's mouth. She waited just long enough for him to pull a third free, before deciding it was best that they return. With three whole fangs, and one broken one, they should be able to destroy the object that Dobby had found.

"Can you take us back to the chamber entrance from here?" Jasmine asked, knowing she needed to make sure the entrance was closed before they left the school. It would not do them any good if a student randomly stumbled upon the chamber entrance.

"Dobby can do that," Dobby said, before with a snap of his fingers, the pair vanished from the chamber, only to reappear outside the entrance back up in the bathroom.

Jasmine was a little worried it would not close, but as she stepped away from it to get a better look at it, the entrance sealed shut without being commanded. She was not sure if it had some sort of magic on it that sensed if there were people down below or not. But she was not going to complain that her job was done. With that she had Dobby take them back to Grimmauld place.

They reappeared in what seemed to be the middle of an argument between Lupin, Sirius, Hermione, and Molly. Jasmine noticed that Kreacher was still about, and off to the side, once more holding the dark object. Before she could do anything or make a move towards it however, the others noticed that she and Dobby had returned, and made a move to talk to her at once.

Jasmine raised her hand and spoke loud enough that they all heard her, "You can ask me questions once I am done. First, I need to destroy that thing."

There was a fierceness in her voice, and a note of command only Hermione had ever heard before. It sure surprised the others, the command she had given, yet the look they saw in her eyes made sure none of them questioning it. At least not yet. Oddly enough though Kreacher was suddenly looking rather happy, about what was going on.

"You can destroy the locket?" Kreacher asked, his voice sounding deep rather than squeaky as most house-elves did.

"If it is anything like the diary, yes. Put it on the table, and I will destroy it shortly. Dobby hand me one of the fangs and grab my Dragon hide gloves," Jasmine ordered.

Both Dobby and Kreacher did as asked, and a moment later Jasmine was pulling on her thick gloves. Grabbing hold of the fang Dobby floated over to her, Jasmine lined it up before stabbing at the locket that Kreacher had set on the table. The fang pieced right through it, and dug deep into the metal surface till it penetrated out the back of the locket. Jasmine stepped back drawing her wand, as she waited for something to happen, the others mimicking her own moves, drawing their own wands.

Jasmine was not disappointed as a hissing soon escaped the locket and black sludge seemed to escape out the holes she had made. Black vapers spiral up along the fang. Jasmine got her wand ready, just in case something happened. But after nearly a minute, the black cloud vanished and the sludge stopped pouring out of the now ruined locket.

"Well, that is over," Jasmine sighed, before turning to Dobby, "Take the fangs and hide them in a safe place. Leave my gloves with them as well, just in case I got some of the venom on them. Then I want you to go let Professor Dumbledore known what happened as soon as you safely can without anyone else knowing. I want him here as soon as he can come, tell him it was another item like that dairy."

"Yes, at once," Dobby said and vanished, the fang and Jasmine's gloves vanished moments later.

Jasmine turned to the rest of the group, knowing she would now have to answer some questions. However, before she or the others could speak, she heard the voice of Kreacher and realized he was not only crying but seemed thrilled.

"My mission is done, Master Regulas's order has been completed," Kreacher kept saying, catching Sirius at least off guard, leaving the man looking at the house-elf in stunned amazement. Though the change in the house-elf clearly was surprising to the rest of the group, who were regarding Kreacher with utter surprise and confusion.

It was after nearly a minute of this before Dumbledore appeared stepping out of the Floo into the room. He appeared both concerned then glad, at the sight that greeted him. Though even he too was curious about what had gotten Kreacher so worked up. He glanced as Jasmine, before he studied the locket on the table. A look of momentary horror flashed across his face, and stunned amazement flickered in his eyes, before he schooled his features to a more calm expression.

"So," Dumbledore finally said, now that everyone's attention was on him, "Care to explain what happened?"

Jasmine began speaking right away, explaining their visit but also what Dobby had been asked to do. And his statements about finding the locket in Kreacher's possession. She then told them about heading to the chamber to collect some of the basilisk fangs to destroy it, since she knew those had worked on the dairy. Then finally destroying it, and asking for Dumbledore to show up.

Hermione then explained, that they had not done much in the short time Jasmine had vanished. As Molly had shown up and asked them where Jasmine had been. They could only give her the answer of Jasmine having gone to Hogwarts for a few moments with Dobby. Which of course had started a small fight as Molly felt they had to go and bring Jasmine back at once. Though it was quite clear to the other three it was already too late, and Jasmine would be back shortly.

This left Kreacher's tale about how he had gotten hold of the locket. Which was filled with enough surprises that Jasmine felt it was much like her own life story for once. Kreacher had been asked by the dark lord to help hide something. Then had been left to die, but because Regulas had ordered Kreacher to return, he had done so even though he had been driven partial crazy by it. Regulas had then nursed him back to health, before he learned what it was Voldemort had hidden.

Regulas had then gone after it with Kreacher's aid, and though he had retrieved it, and Kreacher escaped with it back home. Regulas died due to the same potion that had nearly cost Kreacher his life the first time. Since then, Kreacher had tried and failed countless times to follow his last orders to destroy it. And had been forced to keep the thing safely hidden in the house till he came across a method that would work. Jasmine own actions, had ended the torment Kreacher had long been enduring at failing to follow his beloved master's last orders. Sirius was looking near tears by the end of it.

"My brother, damn and bless him," Sirius said, as tears made their appearance, "Turned out alright in the end, and what a way to go. Spiting Voldemort."

Sirius fell silent, yet the tears kept slowly falling as the rest of the room looked at the destroyed locket. It was Jasmine who first spoke as she had to know.

"Professor, was it the same as the Diary?"

A darkness seemed to pass over Dumbledore's eyes, before he spoke, "I do not know. It seems possible, even probable that they are one in the same. If I may, I would like to study what remains of the locket. I will not be able to say for certain, as destroyed as it is, I cannot run the needed tests."

"I was not going to risk it remaining intact professor," Jasmine commented with a bit of heat in her voice.

"No, you were right to destroy it right away," Dumbledore said in a soothing voice and gave her a small smile.

Jasmine nodded, as Hermione spoke up, "What kind of magic was on it? Dobby and Jasmine said it was like Riddle's Diary. But they never said what that kind of magic was."

"That is not an answer I can tell you. Not yet, at least not till I know more myself," Dumbledore said and there was a hard edge to his voice, "I will get back to you in a few weeks, then I shall answer your questions. I can say this for certain, if you find or locate any more objects like this. Destroy them, then bring them to me."

"More?" Jasmine breathed as she realized what Dumbledore was implying with that simple word.

"Yes more. Though I don't think we will have to worry about randomly coming across another object such as that. At least if Kreacher's story is anything to go by. If there are more of these things, Voldemort went to great lengths to hide them. For now, I think you two should focus on your plans for the year. I must get back to Hogwarts, as I had to postpone an important meeting to come here," Dumbledore said, before looking at Kreacher, "Would you mind, Kreacher, if I took this with me to study. I could return it to you if you wanted afterwards. A token of your last Master's final wish."

"Kreacher would like that yes," Kreacher said nodding.

"Thank you," Dumbledore said carefully lifting the destroyed locket from the table, "Well I shall see you all later."

With that Dumbledore activated the Floo and was soon gone. Leaving the rest of the room in a bit of an odd silence at what had just happened over the last hour or so. Finally, Sirius was the one that spoke up.

"So, about the Chamber of Secrets, how do you know where it is, and how to get into it?"

Jasmine sighed, as she realized a long talk was coming. It would only take one slip of the tongue, then there would be questions about her first year as well. With that in mind, Jasmine knew she would have to start in her first year as to answer all their questions and give them a full picture. One thing she had to do first however, was head back to the Granger's to check on the kids, they had already been out long enough Jasmine had no doubt her children were whimpering wanting to see her.

"Let's go home, then I shall tell you," Jasmine said, realizing it was going to be a very long day indeed.

( Espo Here.

Chapter 2 done, and nearly 12,000 words. Fun fact, from this chapter, till Chapter 8, was all unplanned. As i planned on this being a short story... not a nearly 130,000 word project. But then again, writing is not about what you want, it is about what you find.

Now to the notes for changes.

One, I gave Hermione a bit of a talking to for a reason. We all know how she actually gets in the books. And without someone sitting her down and pointing out how things would have to change, there is a solid chance she would forget this is not just for teaching Jasmine, but also helping the kids. Jasmine is a mother first and foremost now, and she will make decisions around her children, more than her own joys.

Second, yes Arthur is still around and unharmed. Due to Harry being missing, Voldemort and Dumbledore both focused on finding Harry rather than going after the prophecy. Meaning he never came across Negini and never got bitten.

On a similar note. A bit of a gripe on my part about book 5. The fact they are so dead set on keeping Voldemort from getting the Prophecy is rather dumb. While yes he would learn the full message. IT would already be to late for Voldemort to change anything. Quite literally, if Voldemort found out the entire thing, it would have changed nothing. Pointing to yet again, book five were everyone is at their worse, even Dumbledore.

Third and final. Destroying the Locket... Why does everyone seem to think they need to open it? When by all right that is not needed. Yes in book 7 they open it up, but that is because harry at the time does not have an item that can do it. And get the idea into his head that if they could open up the locket they could damage it. As in damage it with NORMAL spells, not powerful weapons, such as the sword.

Remember, the sword is able to destroy the Horcrux because of the venom. If just closing the locket made it so it would not be destroyed, then the venom would not work anyway. Meaning, that all those fanfictions who think you have to open up the locket to destroy it kind of got it wrong. And in the book, i am pretty sure J.K. Rowling only did it because Harry had convinced himself he had to open it up by that point. When if he had just stabbed it, it would have had the same effect. Though we would not have gotten the payoff of Ron destroying the locket.

Anyway, ranting done.

Leave you thoughts and reviews, and hope you enjoyed.

Till next week. Bye)
