The team of five fell down a bottomless hole for what felt like hours, screaming in terror as they descended. After a while though, some of them become bored of falling…

"Holy crap this goes on forever," Scout noted, almost amusingly.

"Come on I don't have all day." Spy complained, whilst looking at his watch.

Suddenly, as though on cue, the bottomless hole finally ended, and suddenly Spy collided with an unfamiliar surface.

"Oof, well at least I'm in one piece," he breathed a sigh of relief.

Suddenly, the Scout landed on top of him, pressing his torso into the ground.

"Thanks for breaking my fall pally," Scout "thanked" Spy.

Demoman suddenly followed and landed on top of the Scout, crushing him under his weight.

"Thanks mate!"

Following the pattern, Medic landed on top of the Demoman, causing him to faceplant on the Scout's body.

"Danke Kamerad!" Medic thanked his friend.

Finally, Lady Emeraldblade was the last to land, with Medic being the one unfortunate enough to act as her cushion to break her fall, and Spy bearing the entire weight of everyone above him.

"Sorry guys." She apologized.

"No…uhh…worries." Medic replied, clearly in pain from her landing.

Everyone proceeded to regain their footing, they then took a look around at their surroundings. It appeared to be in some sort of twisted world, where everything was a shade of red, and various advertisements on nearby buildings and signs promoted sinful behavior or featured pentagrams and other satanic imagery.

"Hmm," Spy wondered, "Not exactly what I imagined Hell to look like,"

"Can't complain though." Scout shrugged.

"What we need to do is find this place Lucifer was talking about, the Hazbin Hotel," Emeraldblade reminded her friends.

"Ja" Medic agreed, "Maybe ze Devil could help us out with our predicament."

The team made their way across the streets of this unusual city, all the while hearing the sounds of fighting, screaming, and cursing along the way. As they strolled their way through what advertisements implied was Pentagram City, the group came across some strange looking individuals, all with red skin, and wearing either black or red clothing, some of which looked provocative, especially regarding the ones that were female.

Many of these strange individuals glanced at the five visitors, both astonished and confused about why their skin color didn't matched any sinner they were familiar with. Soon enough many of them began to whisper to themselves, and death stares were exchanged back at the five non-sinners.

"What fucking shithead let fleshies into the city?" one asked their friend.

"Hell I know," the second one replied, "But they are nothin' but trouble from what I heard."

"Yeah," the first one agreed, "Nothin' but fucking trouble."

"If they get anywhere near me, I'll beat the shit out of those bastards." A third one added.

The comments the group overheard were definitely hurtful and offensive, but nonetheless they tried their best to ignore them and find this hotel Lucifer told them about.

As they were walking, Demoman's gaze became fixed at one particular store. He walked up to the window and was fixated on what he saw inside. There he witnessed a demon apparently putting a second, largely gibbed demon together with what appeared to be a tube of glue.

"Wow," Demoman said to himself, "They really do glue you back together…IN HELL!" he chuckled before suddenly noticing something else inside the building.

On a nearby wall, there was a TV mounted with what appeared to be some sort of talk show or news report on air. The voice from the female host was inaudible for Demoman to make out, but it was what suddenly appeared on screen that made Demoman's one good eye open, the screen panned over to a second individual, who was skinny and wearing a red suit and tie with a yellow pompadour hairdo on their head, but their face was completely obscured by a dark grey gas mask. Seeing this particular accessory made Demoman's jaw drop.

"Pyro?!" Demoman questioned.

"Ahem, stop messing around Demoman, and get moving." Spy scolded his comrade, before taking his arm and dragging him away from the window.

The two of them eventually regrouped with the others close by. It was then all five of them came to a sudden realization: they were completely lost.

"We've been walking around this place for a while now, and we haven't found a single clue as to where zis hotel is located." Medic complained.

"Perhaps we should ask one of locals if they know where we can find it at," Emeraldblade suggested.

"Ooh, good idea." Medic agreed.

Medic then spotted a sinner off in the distanced and approached them with an awkward smile, causing them to raise an eyebrow.

"Excuse me friend, but do you happen to know where ze Hazbin Hotel is?" Medic asked politely.

"What would a fleshy like you want to know where the hell that place is?" the sinner questioned the doctor angrily.

"Uhh…well…we need to speak to Lucifer Morningstar about something important." Medic nervously answered.

The sinner just burst out laughing, "Yeah it must be VERY important for the King of Hell to want some lacky to casually stroll in to talk to him."

Medic just made an embarrassed look about the rather pathetic remark. Demoman, meanwhile did not take the remark very well and proceed to run up to the sinner and threaten him, sword in hand.

"Alright laddy, tell us where the Hazbin Hotel is right now, or I'll shove my sword up your arse!" Demoman warned them.

The sinner gulped, before relenting, "Okay, okay. If you really want to know, the place you and your friends are looking for is 4 blocks down, after which, turn right and walk another 8, you should see the hotel on your left. You can't miss it, the place was hit pretty hard during the annual purge about two months back, but it's been rebuilt since."

"Ah, thank you friend." Medic shook the sinner's hand, causing them to recoil.

"Yeah sure whatever, just get out of my sight." They replied.

Lady Emeraldblade, and the other three mercs approached Medic.

"So where is it?" Emeraldblade asked.

"Over in zis direction kamerads." Medic pointed forward.

Medic then led the team in the direction the sinner mentioned, turning right once they hit a junction and continuing to walk down the street from there.

Eventually, after counting the number of blocks they crossed, the Medic stopped in front of an opening and found himself in front of a large building. A large sign on top of the building confirmed it was the location that they were looking for: the Hazbin Hotel.

"My god, look at the place." Spy said.

"Yeah, I wonder if they offer room service." Scout questioned, "I could really use a good bucket of chicken right about now."

"Save your appetite for later Scout," Emeraldblade instructed, "We need to speak to Lucifer about the succubus Rosalina told us about."

"Emeraldblade's right kamerads," Medic noted, "Come on, let's stop wasting time."

The others nodded and together they all walked up to the entrance of the hotel.

Meanwhile inside the hotel, two figures were watching a program on television, whilst lamenting on the events that had unfolded just recently.

One figure was male. He was a slender figure with white skin and rosy cheeks, he had short blond hair with paler highlights. His eyes were red surrounded by yellow sclera and razor-sharp teeth. He wore a white suit with red lining, complete with a matching dress shirt and black bowtie, a white top hat on his head with a red trim and a golden crown just above the brim, a pair of black, knee-high heeled boots and black leather gloves on his hands. On his left pinkie, there was a golden wedding ring. He carried a black cane with a red apple-top accessory.

The other figure was female. She was also a slim figure but was more humanoid in appearance, with greyish-lavender skin and very long, white hair that extended down to her knees, which branched apart into two jagged bangs, at the ends, the color of her hair changed to match that of her skin tone. On the back of her head, she wore a reddish-pink bow that was torn and had two tails extending from it. She had one eye, similar to the Demoman that was white with a pink sclera and large black eyelashes, where her other eye was located was instead replaced by a grey eyepatch with a large pink "X", her only hint of makeup was some black lipstick. Her outfit consisted of a red, short-sleeved blouse with a black trim around the neckline and sleeves, a black choker around her neck, a black miniskirt, grey fingerless opera gloves, and thigh-high stockings with white scallops at the top and the tip of her toes.

Both of them where not please at the program they were watching.

"And in other news, Princess Charlotte Morningstar, or as the bitch prefers to be called "Charlie", is still missing following the sudden attack on her Hotel by a mysterious suspect, which witnesses claim was NOT an angel…in all due respect, her hotel was never really a huge success in the first place…I mean seriously…what was that bitch thinking? A hotel to redeem the damned? Frankly, I don't feel bad that she's gone, maybe Hell might have a little fucking decency with her out of the way." The anchorwoman said on TV.

Suddenly, the female figure muted the sound.

"Ah for fuck's sake, even after Charlie's kidnapping, Killjoy still treats it like a publicity stunt just to boost 666's ratings." The female said.

"That's sensationalism dear." the male figure remarked, clearly annoyed by the broadcast too, "I just hate that my daughter is the one who is getting targeted by her lately."

"But couldn't they at least show some sympathy or concern for her disappearance?! I mean she is your daughter Lucifer," the female vented.

"I wish I could say so Vaggie, but Katie Killjoy prefers to piss people off more than befriending them." the male figure lamented, comforting Vaggie over Charlie's disappearance.

Vaggie huffed in disappointment, "I just hope Charlie's still alive, that golem's going to pay for what she did to her."

Suddenly the doorbell rang.

"I'll get it." Vaggie said.

"I doubt it's any customers looking to rent a room, but nonetheless it's worth a check." Lucifer told Vaggie.

Vaggie walked up to the front door and opened it, there standing in front of the doorway was Medic.

"Hello fraulien!" Medic greeted Vaggie in an unsettlingly cheerful manner.

Vaggie was clearly offended by the man's remark, but nonetheless proceeded to talk to him, "Can I help you with something?"

"We're here to speak to Lucifer Morningstar, we're searching for a succubus who's working for a powerful demon named Nightmare." Emeraldblade explained.

Vaggie raised an eyebrow, "Wait, are you five humans?"

"Ja," Medic added, "I spoke to Mr. Morningstar earlier so that we could come speak to him here in Hell."

Vaggie turned back to Lucifer, who was also hearing the conversation they were having.

"Is this true Lucifer?" Vaggie asked.

"Indeed Vaggie, let him in dear, perhaps they could be of some use with our predicament." Lucifer told Vaggie.

Vaggie rolled her eyes before turning back to the strangers in front of her and sighed, "Alright, come on in."

She proceeded to open the door wide to let the five strangers in. One by one Lady Emeraldblade and the mercenaries walked into the hotel's lobby. Once everyone was inside, she closed the door and proceeded to motion the group to follow her in the direction of Lucifer.

"By the way, welcome to the Hazbin Hotel." Vaggie said.

She then proceed to motion them to the area Lucifer was seated in, there they each gathered around a pair of sofas and sat down. The four mercenaries sat on one couch together, whilst Lady Emeraldblade proceeded to sit next to Vaggie on the same couch that Lucifer was seated on. At the same time, Lucifer rang a small bell, summoning a small maid with short red hair, and a single large eye in the middle of her head.

"Nifty, would you mind giving our guests some refreshments?" Lucifer asked.

"Coming right up!" Nifty smiled, before zipping away, only to bring back several glasses of what the mercs assumed was water.

"Thanks pally." Scout thanked the small, speedy demon.

Nifty blushed before suddenly zipping around the lobby, proceeding the dust it whilst overhearing the conversation that was about to occur.

"Now then, before we get down to business, would each of you mind introducing yourselves?" Lucifer asked.

"Well, alright" Medic replied, "I assume you already know me, but in any case, I'm the Medic, I work as the team's full-time doctor. I'm also the one who had that whole relationship with Satan."

"Figures," Vaggie whispered to Lady Emeraldblade, "His name is a dead giveaway."

"My friends call me the Scout," Scout proceeded to speak up, "I'm a force-a-nature you know."

"So I see," Lucifer replied, "And you?"

"I'm the Spy," Spy answered, "I act as the reconnaissance on my team."

"And I'm the Demoman!" Demoman finished, "Anyone who crosses me better be ready for a fight!"

"Sheesh, a little overdramatic don't you think?" Vaggie asked.

"Aye."

Lucifer and Vaggie then turned to Lady Emeraldblade.

"And what about you dear?" Lucifer asked, "What's your name?"

"I'm Lady Emeraldblade," she replied, "I'm a little more down-to-earth unlike my friends here."

"Good to know," Lucifer noted.

"Pardon me, but would you mind introducing yourselves to us?" Emeraldblade asked.

"Ah, your one of the more polite visitors I've seen in a while," Lucifer replied, "Anyways, my full name is Lucifer Morningstar, I'm the King of Hell."

"So, you're basically the Devil?" Emeraldblade asked.

"I prefer to refrain from being identified by that disgraced title, but nonetheless yes, I am whom you humans may call "The Devil"" Lucifer answered.

Lady Emeraldblade nodded, before turning her attention to the female demon next to her.

"And what about you?" Emeraldblade asked.

"My name is Vaggie, I-"

"You mean like…*pheeeeew* VAGINA?!" Scout interrupted, before erupting into laughter.

Spy, Demoman and Medic also proceeded to laugh out loud, as the entire room was filled with their laughter. Lady Emeraldblade, however, was not pleased and just rolled her eyes at the sight of their immaturely. Vaggie meanwhile, was gritting her teeth as the "X" on her missing eye began to glow bright red in anger by the insult, but did her best not to suddenly lash out in front of these visitors and would-be guests.

Finally, after a moment, the laughter ceased and Vaggie proceeded to continue speaking to the mercs whilst concealing her frustration.

"As I was saying, my name is Vaggie, I'm the manager at this hotel."

"What happened to your eye?" Medic asked.

"Yeah, did you lose it to Merasmus?" Demoman asked.

"No you idiot, I lost it due to a…personal accident." Vaggie replied.

"Geez, I'm sorry about that," Emeraldblade apologized.

Vaggie smiled, "It's fine, I appreciate your concern though."

Emeraldblade smiled back.

"And I'm Nifty!" Nifty called out from a distance, all the while dusting around the lobby.

"Hey, you're fast, just like me." Scout noted, "Perhaps you and me should go out a get a bucket of chicken sometime."

Nifty giggled, "I would love that, but not right now, I'm busy working at the Hotel."

"Alright, so now to the matter of business, would you mind explaining to me why you and your friends descended to Hell exactly?" Vaggie asked.

"Certainly," Emeraldblade replied, "You see, I'm not just any ordinary girl, I was sent by my mother Rosalina to locate several allies to recruit into an army in order to stop a powerful being named Nightmare from destroying the Universe. According to her, one of Nightmare's minions, whom she referred to as "the succubus", likes to reside within the planes of this realm of yours."

"And let me get this straight, you need our help finding her?" Lucifer finished.

"Correct, your majesty." Emeraldblade replied.

"Well unfortunately, I don't exactly know of any succubus that would do such a thing." Lucifer said.

"But I may know." Vaggie chimed in.

"You do?" Medic asked.

"From my days fighting in a couple of turf wars in Pentagram City, I befriended a woman who was very beguiling, her name was Verosika Mayday, she hired me as a member of her newly formed crew, back when my hair was much shorter." She explained, playing with her hair in the process. "There were only three of us back then, me, Verosika, and another succubus named Kiki. Kiki and I got along very well, but Verosika was very manipulative. She demanded me to carry out several horrible crimes, including forcing me to have sex with…other men. Eventually, I told her off, but that pissed her off, she proceeded to brutally attack me, breaking one of my arms in the process, warning that if I ever double-cross her again, I wouldn't live another day."

"Yikes," Emeraldblade replied.

"I know, after that incident, I stopped getting involved into turf wars and turned a new leaf by helping Charlie with the Hotel here," Vaggie finished.

"Wait, who's Charlie?" Medic asked.

"She's my daughter," Lucifer answered, "She was kidnapped the other day by a golem."

"Just like Merasmus did with Soldier." Demoman said, before turning his attention to the muted TV, "Hey look, there's a story about us on the news!"

Vaggie turned to Lucifer, who gestured her to unmuted the TV.

Upon unmuting the television, the news anchor, Katie Killjoy began speaking.

"When we come back, hear what locals have to say about the fucking fleshies that appeared in Hell earlier today.." Killjoy said.

"Sheesh language," Emeraldblade noted.

"It's Hell hon," Vaggie replied, "The place is ripe with profanity."

Suddenly an advertisement suddenly came on, it featured an attractive-looking woman singing.

"Pack your bags.

Sun's out.

Take a vacay, babe.

Take it straight to Bonetown." the female sang.

"It's the biggest sinner star in all of Hell," the announcer said, "Don't miss Verosika Mayday, the succubus singer known all around the Pride Ring, performing at the Arena of Arrogance this Friday, April 12th, purchase your tickets today!"

"And make some bitchin' bad choices," Verosika winked at the viewers.

"That's her," Vaggie pointed out, "That's Verosika Mayday."

"I have a feeling she maybe whom we are looking for," Emeraldblade added.

"Then what are we waiting for? Let's stop that succubitch!" Scout said.

"Now hold on!" Lucifer stopped everyone, "There's still the matter of my side of the deal."

"What exactly do you need?" Emeraldblade asked.

"If Vaggie and I help you in your quest to defeat Nightmare, you must make me a promise: you need to find and rescue my daughter, wherever she is."

"I'd listen to Lucifer hon," Vaggie noted, "Besides, if you two meet, I'm certain Charlie will take an instant liking into you, as both you and her have similar goals."

"Are you certain?" Emeraldblade asked.

Vaggie nodded with a smile, "Trust me, I am her girlfriend after all."

Emeraldblade then turned back to the mercenaries, as well as Nifty, all of whom nodded. She then turned back to Lucifer.

"Well dear don't keep me waiting, do we have a deal?" he asked the female warrior, extending his arm out to shake hers.

Lady Emeraldblade thought for moment, she knew she would be putting her life at risk again by trying to find Charlie, let alone going up against Verosika Mayday, but after the whole incident with Merasmus, she knew what she was up against.

"Your majesty," Emeraldblade spoke up, before shaking his hand, "You have yourself a deal."
