Hello everyone, here is the next chapter
This is a lot of different things combined
I hope everyone enjoys it
Read and relax
Whitebeard sat out on deck, it was a calm day, a sunny calm day. As they were out relaxing, Ace got a request. And Ace hummed as he read the note, making Trevor speak up. "What is it?" Ace took a breath as he handed the note to Trevor, who read it before he frowned. "Are you thinking of doing this?" Ace nodded. "I am." Trevor frowned more, which didn't sit right with him. "I don't want you doing this. I don't want you to be gone for so long." Ace shrugged. "And, are you going to stop me?" Trevor sighed. "I can't. But I hope you won't take this."
Whitebeard frowned. "How long is it?" Ace took the note back, before he hummed. "Two and a half months to three. It's a war." Whitebeard blinked. "A war?" Ace nodded. "Yeah. There's a war up north, they want my help. I think I'll say yes." Whitebeard frowned. "Why do they need you?" Ace hummed "To settle the war. One side broke the honor code, broke an oath to spare everyone if he got the king's head. He didn't heed it. I'm going on the side to fight against those who broke the honor code." Whitebeard nodded. That was dishonorable, to go against something like that. "I see. And it will take up to 3 months?" Ace nodded. "Ever been in a war? They take time. I hope it will only take 2 and a half months." That was still long, and he didn't know if he wanted Ace to be gone so long. "And you will do it?" Ace nodded. "Yes, I want to help." That Whitebeard got.
Trevor sighed. "But it's up north. You don't have your powers. I don't want you there fighting a war." Ace hummed. "Again, will you stop me?" Trevor shook his head as he sighed. "No, I won't. I just don't want you there. But if you must, go ahead." Ace nodded. "I will do this. I will leave tonight." It was still morning, but this meant Ace might be gone for 3 months. "Be careful, son." Trevor nodded. "Yeah, you better be careful." Ace hummed. "Not my first war. You know this." Trevor sighed. "I know, but still. Be careful." Ace nodded. "I will. It's not that hard, it will just take time. This means you will be a commander for 3 months." Trevor nodded. "I know. I shall await your return." Ace chuckled. "I won't leave yet. I will leave around 10 I think. They want me to be there tomorrow morning." Trevor nodded. "That's fine. Will Dust join you?" Ace nodded. "He will. We might not be able to speak, but he can still help me out." Trevor nodded. "That's fine. We'll miss you." Ace chuckled. "I know. But I'll be fine." Trevor took a breath. "Still, be careful." Ace hummed. "Stop telling me to be careful, you'll worry the pirates." Trevor blinked. "I'm worried!" Ace sighed. "Don't be. These things usually go by fine." Trevor nodded. "I know, but it's a long time. A lot can go wrong." Ace nodded. "I know. But I have a feeling it will go fine." Trevor nodded, not saying anything this time.
The captain was worried, and would be worried while Ace was gone, but if he was needed, he was needed. He looked at Ace. "You're leaving at 10?" Ace nodded. "I am. And it will go fine. They have the upper hand, but need that extra push to win. I will be that extra push." That made sense, Ace was a great tactician, having him on your team would make sure you win. Ace was amazing. Ace then was out for a bit, before he headed towards his room, and Marco followed after, probably wanting to speak with Ace.
-x-
Marco moved after Ace, and when they got to Ace's room, Marco sighed. "You'll really be gone for 3 months, yoi?" Ace hummed, turning to look at him. "Maybe just two and a half." Marco sighed. "That's still long, yoi." Ace nodded. "I know. But it will go fine." Marco nodded, he would keep saying that to himself. Ace knew what he was doing. "I'll still miss you." Ace chuckled. "I know. But it will move by fast. Just try and occupy yourself." Marco nodded. "I will. But I will still worry, yoi." Ace nodded. "I know, but try not to. Not my first war." Marco nodded, that helped a bit. "Tell me before you leave, so we can have a proper goodbye, yoi." Ace nodded. "I will. But I will leave at 10 sharp." Marco nodded, that was good to know, so he could give a goodbye to Ace, as Ace would be gone for a long time.
The day went by fine, and when evening came, the clock closed in on 10, he moved over to Ace. "Are you leaving now?" Ace nodded. "I am. Goodbye." Marco nodded and moved to hug Ace. "Goodbye, be safe, yoi." Ace nodded. "I will." The rest also gave a goodbye to Ace, including Pops, who also said to be safe, before Ace left in black smoke. Now he just needed to wait. He needed to try and not be too worried.
The next couple of months went by fine, they had a battle with marines and pirates a few times, but all went fine, just minor wounds. And then three more weeks passed, and as it had, there was a cloud of black smoke that appeared on the deck. Marco gave a breath as Ace appeared on deck, him moving over. "How did it go, yoi?" Ace hummed. "Fine. The war is almost over, just small things left, which I was not needed for, the reason it didn't take 3 months." Marco nodded. "Still took 2 months and 3 weeks." Ace nodded. "I know. But it went by fine. A lot of fighting, which was fun, some strong ones, but it all went by fine. We got justice and won." Marco nodded. "That's good."
Pops then noticed he was back and asked how it had gone, and Ace repeated it had gone fine and that they had gotten the justice they were after. It had Pops nod. "That's good. I'm glad you're fine." Ace nodded, and then Trevor was there. "How many did you kill?" Ace hummed. "Who knows. But I did kill 3 leaders and a king." Pops blinked, before he frowned. "You killed the king?" Ace nodded. "They were arguing over who it was that would kill him, and it took too long, so I just killed him. Wasn't that strong." Pops nodded. "That's good. Were they mad you killed him?" Ace hummed. "A bit, but they were also scared of me, so they let it go. Then I left as things calmed down." That's sounded to have gone by fine.
-x-
They docked the next week, and it was a calm day on the island, Whitebeard sitting out on deck. It was a calm island they were at. They didn't control it, but it was a nice one. As they had been docked for some hours, Ace came on the boat, coming from the island, a bit of blood on himself, making him worried. "Are you fine, son?" Ace nodded. "Yeah, not my blood." That was good. And before he could respond to that, Claus spoke. "Why is your bag so full? Made a lot of money?" Ace's bag was quite full, that was true. Ace hummed. "No," Ace then moved his hands to the bag, before he took a head out, dripping blood, which had a few of them yell out. "What the hell, man!" Yelled Claus, and Ace shrugged. "I needed proof I killed him, so I took his head. No deal." Claus blinked. "No deal?! You are legit walking around with a decapitated head!" Ace shrugged. "So? I have walked around with dead bodies before, to deliver them. It's just a head."
Claus still looked bothered, and he did get it, but then again, it was Ace. "Is this a mercenary job?" He asked, and Ace nodded. "Yeah, he was an undercover slave driver. Now he's gone." That was good, they didn't need more slave drivers in the world. Ace then moved the head back into the bag. "Now, I will just take a shower and change, before I deliver the head. I have more than enough time." That was good, and Ace had some blood on himself, so he got why Ace wanted to change and shower. It had probably been a fight. Ace then headed to shower, and was away for about 15 minutes, when he got back out on deck, he looked at Marco. "Want to join and deliver the head? Then we can head for a bite after it?" Marco was soon off duty now, just a few minutes left until it was 4pm, so he could leave now, it wouldn't be any harm. Marco gave a look to him, and when he nodded, Marco did as well. "We can. Let's deliver this head, yoi." Ace chuckled. "Yeah, we should. We can use the payment for food." Marco nodded and the two headed off the boat, to deliver the head and take a bite, both deserved a break.
As Ace was off, Claus shuddered. "He's walking with a decapitated head." Whitebeard nodded. "He is, but he will deliver it." Claus nodded, before he let out a breath. "Doesn't make it any better. Just make it more weird." Whitebeard got that, it was a bit weird, but it was what the person Ace helped wanted.
-x-
Marco walked beside Ace, heading to the small city, and to a small house there, where a woman stood, seeming to be waiting for them. When they got close, she crossed her arms. "Did you do it?" Ace nodded, moving to grab the head from his bag. "I did. You want it as a trophy?" The woman nodded and took the head. "Don't mind it if I do. I need to show this to the others. Thank you." She then moved a bag out, handing it to Ace. "Here, your payment." Ace nodded and took the bag with a thanks, before they bid farewell, and they headed to a restaurant, and enjoyed themselves for the remainder of the day and bit out in the evening, before they headed back to the boat. They then stayed on the island until tomorrow, before they left, heading on. Marco had really enjoyed himself, as he did every time they had some spare time to have fun, which wasn't a lot.
-x-
Whitebeard sat in the galley, everyone relaxing. It wasn't the best weather outside, so they were in the galley. Ace had just returned from a short assignment but hadn't made breakfast, so he had gone and made himself a bit of food, having just gotten out of the kitchen with some slice of bread.
As Ace sat down, Thatch blinked, before he frowned. "Your bread is moldy, Ace." Whitebeard blinked, looking at Ace who was eating a slice of bread, and Thatch was right, it was moldy. It wasn't a lot, but it was. Ace blinked as well, before he looked at his bread piece, seeing the mold, before he shrugged, taking a bite of it. "I've had worse." Thatch blinked, before he moved his hands up. "You can't eat moldy bread! It's not good for you!" Ace shrugged. "It's not that dangerous for you either. And I've eaten worse. I would have killed for moldy bread in some situations." Ace then continued to eat his bread, not minding it, and Whitebeard got it. Ace had been in many deplorable situations. And it wasn't dangerous to eat as he said. Thatch swallowed, before he just nodded, getting that Ace didn't care as this was nothing.
They then docked a bit later, and it was a small island, which they had been on before, so they knew they could dock here. They would act calm on the island, as it was what the island wanted. As they were on the shore, just enjoying a good day, Whitebeard saw Thatch looking shocked, before he looked at Mika. "What the hell is Ace doing!? Does he realise he can die!?" The captain blinked, before he looked at where Thatch was looking, which was out to the sea, and a bit out, was Ace and Trevor, each on their own small board, an oar in hand. That would be dangerous for Ace, if he fell, he would drown. But he also had a feeling Trevor would save him if it happened, as they were close. Mika chuckled. "Nah, they have control. They enjoy this. Let them have this moment." Thatch nodded, still looking worried, and he got it. It was dangerous for Ace. "I am sure Trevor has control, as well as Ace." Ace was good at having control, and he was sure he wouldn't fall in the ocean. Thatch nodded, but he still looked worried. It was understandable. But Ace did seem to have fun, having a smile as he paddled around with Trevor.
Ace paddled around for about an hour with Trevor, before they moved to paddle to the shore, and when they were on land, Thatch moved a hand up. "Do you know how dangerous that was!" Ace shrugged. "I had fun, so no worries. I had control. If I fell, I do believe Trevor would have saved me." Trevor snorted. "Of course I would have." Thatch did nod, accepting that, which was good. Whitebeard then looked at Ace. "It did look fun." Ace nodded. "It was. I like to see the ocean that close, see creatures and such." Trevor nodded. "Agree. But it is more fun when we're out in the depths, where we can see more of the rarer creatures that don't come close to the shore." That made sense and had the captain nod. He got why Ace enjoyed it, the ocean was mysterious and had many creatures. Haruta then took a step forward. "Can I try?" Ace nodded. "Sure. Let's try it in the shallow first, as you will fall." Haruta nodded and she and Ace went a bit out in the water, so it reached their thighs. Ace then boarded his board, and showed what he did, before Haruta slowly moved to go on the board Trevor had used, and it was clear she was having issues as she was wobbling, and Ace gave some pinpoints. Haruta then tried to lift herself up a bit so she stood on her knees, as Ace did, but it resulted in her falling off, making Ace chuckle a bit. "It is hard at the start. You'll get it. Good practice for balance as well." That was true,it would be a good practice for balance. He knew Haruta wanted to be better there.
Haruta and Ace practiced for about half an hour, before they went more out to the depths, just a bit. It would still be easy to fetch Ace if he fell as they weren't as far. But now they met a bit of waves, which had Haruta wobble again. And she did fall in the ocean about 3 times, before she seemed to get it more and was more at balance. They then kept out and paddled for about an hour, before they returned to the shore, Haruta was wet, but she had a big smile. "I did it!" Whitebeard nodded. "You did, daughter. You're a quick learner." She was a quick learner, and she did have good balance. She then looked at Ace. "How often did you fall off when you learned?" Ace hummed. "Once, I believe. But I had had a lot of practice with my balance before I was let out in the water, and I started young, when it's easier to do and learn." Haruta nodded, before she went to change clothes to some dry ones, as hers were soaked.
They then stayed for another day before they left. And after a week, they moved to the meeting room to have their normal meeting, everyone being present. As the meeting was coming to an end, they spoke about this and that, that needed to be said, and Thatch said a few of the chefs would like a small break from being a chef, just to feel the way of the pirate more again, which some did now and then, and it was fine, they always had enough chefs.
But as it had been spoken about,Ace hummed, looking at Trevor. "I actually thought about quitting the other day." Whitebeard frowned, with Trevor, who spoke. "Quit working all together?" Ace nodded. "Yeah, settle down and be a pirate, like Benn." Trevor blinked. "If you quit, I quit." Mika snorted. "You quit, Trevor, I quit." Ace chuckled. "Poor Daisuke, he would lose 3 assassins. But, I decided to keep working. I spoke with Benn about it." Trevor nodded. "Good. What made you want to quit?" Ace shook his head, and a look from Trevor made him sure this wasn't the last of this, but he had a feeling Ace wouldn't tell why with them around. It was probably personal. He didn't know what he felt about this. He would like Ace to quit in a way, so he could get a break, a real break, and just relax. But he had a feeling Ace would feel bad if he did, as he did a lot of good in the world, he saw the good in this awful world. But he also saw the bad things and experienced bad things, which took a toll. Ace fit working, he fit as an assassin, and he didn't mind it. He was a lot worried, but he knew Ace would manage. They then finished the meeting up, before they parted and went on with their normal day.
-x-
Trevor moved after Ace, and when they were in the hallway to the commanders, no one else there, Ace sighed. "You want to know why I thought of quitting." Trevor nodded, he did. "You never have before. What happened to make you think that?" He was worried Ace would stop and quit, and if he did, he would quit himself. He wouldn't do this without Ace. Ace sighed. "Remember those amputees I saved?" Trevor nodded and Ace continued. "I visited them, to see how they were doing." Trevor nodded. "And they were still in pain." Ace shook his head. "No, the opposite. They were happy. And it got me thinking; if they are so happy after everything why aren't I? Why can't I relax and be happy? And that got me thinking if I should quit, so I can be happy." Trevor nodded, that made sense. "I hope you aren't sacrificing your happiness to work, because you shouldn't." Ace really shouldn't do that, he should be able to be happy as well. Ace nodded. "I'm not. I don't think I could relax without working, without making a difference. I enjoy working, I do. And I will enjoy it for years to come I hope." Trevor nodded. "What did Benn say?" Ace sighed. "He said it was my choice to quit if I wanted to, and told me what made him quit, and I don't feel the same he did. I still enjoy working, he didn't. I'm not quitting yet, Trevor. Don't be afraid of that." Trevor nodded, seeming glad about that.
Trevor then left and Ace headed to his room, needing to fix something, and as he was, Marco came inside, giving a curious look to him. "You actually thought of quitting, yoi?" Ace nodded. "Yeah. The whole deal with the amputees being happy, got me thinking if I should quit to be happier for longer periods. But I really couldn't be happy without making a difference and working." Marco nodded. "I get it, and I get why you want to continue too. You're good at what you're doing, but never be afraid to speak about it with me, yoi." Ace nodded. "I know. I really appreciate it." They then stayed in the room for another minute while Ace finished up, before they left back to the deck, to continue the day normally.
-x-
Whitebeard sat out on deck, frowning when he noticed a marine fleet heading towards them. It had been calm the last, well weeks on the marine end. It did happen as they weren't their main target, but they hadn't done anything to get a whole read admiral after them. The fleet came towards them, but as they were closing in, every ship, aside from the rear admiral's, stopped, and what was weirder, was how they put up a white flag, as if submitting to them. What was this? Did they want a meeting? They would wait and see what happened, but be on the ready. But as they were getting closer, they still didn't seem to want a fight, and when they were close enough, they could see Strawberry, who had a humble, but strong, look. As they were close enough, the rear admiral spoke. "I need a word with your second commander." Whitebeard frowned, he wanted Ace?
Before he could respond, Ace was beside him, arms crossed. "I'm here." Strawberry nodded. "I need your help." Ace nodded. "I'm listening." Whitebeard blinked. Ace was listening? Was he thinking of helping the marines? Strawberry took a breath. "My family has been apprehended by someone, a pirate crew I can't name, I need you to find them. Please." He had never heard anything close to what came out of his mouth before, not even on the news, and this hadn't gotten to the news. Ace hummed. "What will I get in return?" Whitebeard blinked again. Ace was thinking of doing this? To help a marine? Strawberry nodded. "I don't control all the marines, I don't, but I control many, especially here. I will make sure you are not their target for a small while, so you can sail safely without the fear of marines." Ace nodded. "I will do it. I will find them, and bring them home. I will send a note when I have done so. Break our deal, or hurt my bird, deal off, and I kill them myself." Strawberry nodded. "We won't. Thank you, for helping."
The marine then left, and as soon as they were out of earshot, he looked at Ace. "Why will you help them? They are marines." Ace sighed. "I am an assassin. I don't see ranks or labels, I see people. And his family, they are not marines, none of them. They are just innocent people brought into this. Probably taken because of his status." Whitebeard nodded, that made sense, and he got it. If his family wasn't marines, he could accept it. Before he could voice this, Ace continued. "And, if you can't accept me helping marines, I shouldn't be here. I help marines, I do, if their request is something not related to being a marine or incapacitating enemy crews." Whitebeard nodded. "No, it's fine. I thought his family was marines." Ace nodded. "I can understand that, but they aren't." Whitebeard nodded. "Then it's fine for me if you help him. Innocent people shouldn't be targeted just because someone in their family is famous, or infamous." Ace nodded. "Good, we're on the same page. Now, I need to leave for this, I have an idea where they are."
Whitebeard nodded. "Be careful, son." Ace nodded, before he looked over at Trevor. "Could you join? A large boat. Will take me hours alone, many fighters." Trevor nodded. "I can." Mika then took a step forward. "Can I join? I want something to do." Ace shook his head. "No, I don't want you there." Mika nodded, accepting that as she took a step back. Ace and Trevor then left, and when they were gone, he looked at Mika. "Why couldn't you join?" Mika sighed. "Probably someone who would kill me on sight, but not them. I have an idea where they're headed now." Whitebeard nodded. "Do you think it will go fine?" Mika nodded. "I do. They are a good team, and there should just be many enemies, not that strong, and one or two captains." That was good to hear, that they would most likely be fine.
The rest of the day went by fine, and after 3 hours, Ace and Trevor returned, both looking to have taken a shower, and as they were seen, he looked at Ace. "How did it go?" Ace hummed. "Fine. A bit messy, but fine. They are home now and safe, Dust is on his way to Strawberry now. The deal is not done yet, depending on how he treats Dust." That made sense, and the next hour was calm, before Dust appeared on the railing in black smoke, armor on. As he appeared, Ace looked at the bird. "How did it go?" The bird cawed and nodded, and Ace nodded as well. "Good." When Whitebeard frowned, Ace hummed. "It went fine. No issues, and he said the deal is now on. We will be let off marines watch for about 4 months. At least those Strawberry controls."
That was good to know, and was good info. It meant they could relax on meeting enemy marines for a small while, at least here. Whitebeard sent a look at Ace. "Did you kill the entire crew?" Ace nodded. "Yes. If you do something as dishonorable as take innocent prisoners, you deserve it. I wouldn't have interfered if they were marines, his family." Whitebeard nodded, he got it. Izou frowned. "But you helped us. And that was related to being a pirate." That was true. Ace nodded. "Yes, but Luffy liked you." Trevor snorted. "If luffy liked you, you are in. Ace would help anyone the brat likes." Ace hummed, before he sighed. "I guess that's true. But Luffy is a good character reader." Trevor nodded. "That he is. But he had never met them. Luffy has you around his pinkie." Ace sighed. "I think you're right. But he doesn't abuse it." Trevor nodded. "That is true. Luffy is a good kid." Ace nodded. "He is." Luffy was a good kid, and he got that Ace was protective over him and wanted to make him happy. If it hadn't been for Luffy, Ace would have never helped them. He owed that to Luffy in a way. He was just glad things had turned out fine.
-x-
They then sailed around for a while, and Ann turned up after a bit, staying with them. As they were heading to a sizable island they docked at, they all took a trip out to a bar, or tavern, which was connected to a hotel, so there were many there. Ann was also with them, and he hoped this would go fine. It did seem to go fine, and when Ann left for a minute, things continued calm, before Ann came back, and as she did, she held a roomkey up. "I got a room key. Drinks on me! Or this guy who gave it to me." Whitebeard blinked. "How did you get it?" They don't have room keys for this place, as they had the boat. They were just out for drinks. Ann chuckled. "Look at me, who wouldn't want me? Some sleazebag wants me in his bed, so he gave me his room key to go to him." That made sense, and he didn't know people did that. Ann then went and said the drinks were on the room key, and ordered another round for them. Ann then moved back to them, and when she did, she moved to sit down in Marco's lap, arm around his shoulders. It was still nice to see the two being close.
As they got the drinks, and a barmaid came with them, Ann held the room key out to the barmaid. "I found this on the ground, could you take it?" The barmaid nodded and took it, and now she didn't have it anymore. They then continued to have fun, and after half an hour, many people walking past them, Ann got an amused face as she looked at Trevor, who frowned. "What, Bunny?" Asked Trevor, looking at Ann that sat in Marco's lap still. Ann lifted an eyebrow, before she moved her hand up and held a roomkey. Trevor whistled. "Woah, another one? Who?" Ann chuckled, using the key to point towards the bar. "The bald one." Trevor looked over and got a grimace. "Him? He really thinks he can get you? Hell no." Ann shrugged. "Probably rich. You can choose who." Whitebeard didn't really know what that meant, but it had Trevor perk up as he sat more straight, looking at the people that sat around. "The brown-haired suit. He's been eyeing you. Easy target; he seems like a sleazebag." The captain looked over at the person Trevor spoke about, and had to agree he looked sort of creepy, having a look on his face as he looked around at the different women. Ann chuckled as she stood up. "And now, a quick lesson on how to deal with sleazebags and sleazeballs." As Ann had spoken, she moved towards the man, swaying her hips as she went, obviously wanting to get his attention, which she got. The man's eyes locked on her, checking her out and obviously liking what he saw as he likcked his lips. When Ann was closer, she walked close to the chair's back, her hand moving over his shoulders with the roomkey, before letting it go as the man took the roomkey, Ann giving a wink, before continuing on with the seducing movement. It wasn't long before the man instantly stood up and almost ran to the elevator, probably to get to the room the key belonged to.
As the man was gone, Ann reappeared and sat back down on Marco's lap, giving a chuckle as she had a smile on an amused face. "In not long, the two men will come face to face and no one knows who betrayed who." Trevor laughed, lifting his glass. "Best thing to do when you get a key! Hand it over to another guy!" Ann nodded, moving to get her glass up and do a small cheers with Trevor. "Usually calm them down for later too. Some just stop handing out their roomkey or going to keys they get." That was a smart trick, and Haruta had an amazed look as she spoke up. "That was amazing! How did you know it would work?" Ann shrugged. "Easy. As Trevor said, he's been checking me out, and he looked like a sleazebag, meaning he just wants an easy fuck. And, look around, dear. I am clearly, clearly, the best looking one around." That was true. No one was quite as stunning as Ann, or Miss Jackson. But, from what he had heard and seen himself, that was a given when she was present.
They then enjoyed more hours out, which went fine, before they headed back to the boat, before people got too drunk. They then continued the party on the boat, and it went fine. Ann then was around for a few more days, before Ace came back as himself.
-x-
Marco stood in his room, having just finished some paperwork, and as he was done, the door opened and Ace came inside with a smile. Ace then moved to sit on the bed, looking at him. "Marco, I want to talk about something." Marco nodded and moved to sit down next to Ace. "Sure, about what, yoi?" Ace hummed. "I think, although I am not one hundred percent sure, but I think I'm ready to get married." Marco blinked. "You are?" Ace nodded. "I mean. I've spoken with Benn and Shanks, all that is fixed, and I know you're ready. And I think I can't get more ready. And I know it will take a bit of time to gather everyone, and we haven't found the island or islands." Marco nodded. "About that, I checked the map, and I think I have an island. I have a couple in mind, but yeah. How about we go check them out, yoi?" Ace nodded. "Yeah. How about we make a day out of it? Just the two of us? How about tomorrow? Or the next day? We need to do this a bit fast, so we can send out invitations. We need to give people at least a month or three to get there." Marco nodded. "Sounds good. Let me ask Pops which day fits the best, yoi." Ace nodded. "Sounds good."
Ace then smiled at him. "I am glad we're doing this. I am sure everyone will be happy for us." Marco nodded, he knew everyone would. "They will, but I will be happy as well. I want this, yoi. Should we make that day into a full day and night?" Ace hummed. "Maybe. That would be fun. But will everyone make it without us?" Marco hummed himself. "They need to manage one day and night, yoi." Ace chuckled. "Yeah. I'm looking forward to this." Marco was as well.
They sat and spoke a bit, before they went to bed, and when the day started, Marco headed to speak with Pops, the man giving a smile when he appeared. "Marco! What brings you by so early?" The clock was just past 6 in the morning, so it was early. Marco hummed. "Ace and I have started to plan to get wed. As in the next few months, we just need to check a few islands, and could use a day and night to do that, yoi." Whitebeard nodded. "And I guess you're here to ask for a day and night off for you two? Of course you can do that, when did you think?" Marco smiled. "We hoped for either today or tomorrow, yoi." Pops nodded. "How about tomorrow? I think everyone needs a bit of time to know you'll be gone for a day and night. Who will you invite?" Marco hummed. "Many. We'll see after we see how large the island is. And we think most need a month or three to get there, so it is still a bit away." Pops nodded. "I am happy for you, son. I hope everything will go fine." Marco did as well, and would do his best to make this happen.
He then went back to his room, where Ace was and said they got tomorrow, which was fine. Marco then told about the islands he had thought about, and Ace agreed they sounded to be good, adding a few of his own. They didn't need an entire day and night, but it would be good to get a day and night to relax. They then continued the day as normal, Pops informing everyone he and Ace would be gone for tomorrow day and night, and everyone was fine with it. When the next day came, they left as they woke up, heading to check the islands, before they had dinner at a restaurant, before they went back to looking at islands, and when evening came, they headed to a hotel and stayed there for the night.
When the next day started, they had breakfast at the hotel, before they left back to the boat, going back to their duties, and it was good timing as Ace got a request when they got back, which Ace needed to leave for. When Ace returned, they started to plan the invites, and did their best to get down what they wanted, before Ace headed to a place who could make them and send them, which fit perfectly. It would be a long long list of people who would come, so they needed to get started. It would probably take a week or two to get the invites out, and then another week to get responses, and then they would have the wedding a month or two later. It sounded to be a good plan. Ace then went to place the order when evening came, so it could move as fast as possible.
Things were going fine.
And that's the chapter, hope you enjoyed
I hope this chapter was enjoyable.
This story is also not finished. I know it is marked finished, but that is since the main part I had planned is over and now it is just the rest as well as ideas that I have. We still have some loose ends, like the wedding, the thing about Marcus, and other things.
