Hello everyone, here is the next chapter

This is a bit of everything, and it is short. After having so many long chapters, there is bound to be a bit of a short one

And I hope everyone enjoys it

read and relax

Whitebeard moved to sit down at a table, a few of his children joining him. They had docked earlier today on a neutral island and was in a tavern, trying to enjoy some peace. Ann was also present, but was speaking to someone at the bar. She did that for a small bit, before she moved to sit down at their table, a drink in hand. And as she had sat down, a guy came up to their left, looking at Ann. Whitebeard was on his way to tell him to leave when he spoke, looking at Ann. "Do you want the best sex of your life?!" Ann shook her head. "No." The guy moved a hand. "Then I'm the right guy!" Ann blinked, before she gave a laugh. "Did your buddies put you up to this?" The guy nodded. "Yeah, sorry. I'll leave now." That was good.

But before the man could move, Ann moved her hand towards him. "No no, let's make your friends jealous. Come sit." Said Ann as she moved a hand to an empty chair. The man blinked, before he slowly sat down. "O-okay." Ann then chuckled. "And before you get any thoughts, I'm taken, and you're only invited here because of that joke. It was so bad that I laughed." The guy nodded. "Okay. If I can make those jealous, I am fine with that." The man pointed to his left with that, and when the captain looked, he saw a table with 3 guys who were staring at them with shock, probably since the guy made such a bad joke and still got to sit down.

They then struck up a conversation with their guest, finding out his name was Nick, and when Marco came a bit later, he gave a curious look to Nick, which had Ann chuckle. "This is Nick. He made a bad joke and I invited him to sit to make his friends jealous." Marco nodded. "Okay, yoi. What was the joke?" Ann chucked before she said it, and it had Marco chuckle a bit. "That's the worst I've heard." He then looked at Nick. "Did you think that would work, yoi?" Nick shook his head. "No, but we betted if I would dare. I get a thousand belli and to sit with a pretty- taken- woman. Win win situation." Marco nodded. "Sounds good. I hope your friends get really jealous." Nick nodded. "Oh, they will. They've been eying you the entire night." Ann nodded. "I know, you haven't, one of the reasons I invited you." Nick nodded. "Thank you. I don't really like them, but there's no one else here that's nice to me." Ann hummed. "Rash idea; join us." Nick blinked. "What?" Ann shrugged. "Join us. Join the Whitebeards. I am sure the captain won't mind." Nick looked at him with that, and he nodded. "I wouldn't mind it."

They had a lot of space as many had left because of Ace, of him being an assassin. Nick nodded. "Maybe I should." Ann chuckled, and leaned over to him. "Oh, and stick this in their faces." Ann then kissed him on the cheek, and the man blinked. "Oh my God. They will hate me! I love this! Let me just stick it in their faces and I'll be right back." As the man left, Ann looked at Marco. "Hope that was okay." Marco nodded. "I don't mind it. He deserves to do that, yoi. And, it was just the cheek." Ann nodded, before she snapped her fingers. "Oh, by the way, I kissed Kira. Like, really made out with her. We did it to get a target." Marco nodded. "That's fine. It's work." Ann nodded. "Yeah, just work. I don't like her like that. She's just a friend." Marco nodded, and before he could speak, Nick was back. "Well, they hate me now. Thanks for letting me join." Ann waved her hand. "Nothing to thank us for. You seem nice." The man did, so Whitebeard didn't mind that Ann had invited him. He would break the news during breakfast tomorrow. They would get him a room tonight, he probably didn't want to be on this island for much more.

As the evening moved by, the captain asked one of his children to show Nick to the boat and find a room for him, so he could move his stuff. They will leave tomorrow morning. They then enjoyed themselves out for a bit more, before they headed back to the boat.

Marco stood in his room, looking at a few things over. After a few minutes, Ace came smiling into the room, holding out a couple invitations to their wedding. "Should we tell everyone the good news?" Marco nodded, taking an invitation and looking at it. He hadn't seen them up close, and it was a nice simple one. "We should. Let's tell it during tomorrow's meeting, I want to tell the commanders and Pops first, yoi." Ace nodded. "Sounds to be a plan." They then continued their day and when the meeting was the next day, they just waited for it to end so they could tell the good news.

When the meeting came to an end, Marco moved his hand. "Before anyone leaves, we have some news too, yoi." Everyone nodded and sat still, and Marco smiled. "We're getting married." Izou deadpanned. "We know." Marco shook his head. "No no, as in, we have a place and date, yoi." He said as he took the invitations out and handed them out. As he said it, Izou almost jumped out of his seat. "Oh my God! Yes! When!?" Marco motioned towards the invitation Jozu had, who didn't even get to look at it before Izou had taken it, reading it. "Okay, so 2 and a half months. I'm so excited! We need to plan!" Ace nodded. "You can help us plan." Izou clapped his hands. "Om my God! I have so many clothes ideas!"

Ace shook his head. "No no, we will choose our own clothing." Izou blinked. "But, won't you need just a suit?" Ace shook his head. "No, we're going with the Eastern religion when we marry, so we choose clothes that we want to use, some go plain, some go extravagant. You can help choose, but we have the final say." Izou nodded. "Okay, I can accept that. How many are coming?" Ace hummed, looking at him. "600?" Marco thought it over, before he nodded. "Sounds right, yoi." Izou blinked. "But, we're over 600 hundred?" Marco hummed. "The entire family, then 600." Izou blinked. "Oh my God! That is so awesome!" It was, and this would be fun to do. He was looking forward to marrying Ace. "Oh," Started Ace. "After the wedding, we're heading away for a day or three." Izou nodded. "Of course! You deserve that!" Everyone nodded with that and it was good they thought that. Now, they just needed the time to move by.

Izou ran around on the island, trying to find things for Ace and Marco to wear. He knew the two had found a few things, but he wanted to help find more. It seemed that both would go extravagant, which was perfect. They would look so pretty, and he was trying to find jewelry and small pieces for them to use. A few things he had made had been chosen. They both had clothing that looked like robes, thick ones, and were full of decoration, and both had a cape. They also both had found crowns to use, and Marco made Ace's, and Ace made Marco's. They would look so elegant and beautiful in their clothing. They had also gone for a dark theme, having deep dark blue clothing with ornaments on them.

-x-

The day was finally here, and almost everyone was on the island. A bit of people were missing as they were busy, didn't make it, or had something else to do. Ace wished more had made it, like Daisuke and Moira, but both were busy with work. Hanzo and Raiden, as well as most of the others, were also here, the first two since they were injured, both having been in a bad fight. But most were here, and that was all that mattered.

As a few hours passed, he and Haruta headed to an island to get their Mehndi and Henna. Haruta wanted her own Henna, and Ace saw no harm in bringing her to get one. The woman was speaking to some worker about herself, so the worker knew what to write, while Ace did the same, also telling his was for a wedding, not just for fun. It would take some time, so better to get started. The worker then started on his neck, before starting to work her way down. Not all of it would be visible, but most would.

When she was about halfway, now going to start on his hands, he stopped her. "Before you start on my hand, I would like to include a name." The woman nodded. "What name?" Ace chuckled, before he said Marco, and the woman nodded. It would be very few who knew that name was on him. It was written in another language and the typing was different. He would tell it to Marco when he saw him and he could tell. He might not see Marco before the ceremony. He then looked over to Hatura, seeing she was getting her henna, and having a huge smile. This would be a fun thing to do for them. Haruta looked really excited.

When they were done, Ace looked himself over in a mirror, and liked what he saw. Now, he just needed his clothing on. That would take a bit of time. Haruta was finished before him, and when he was done, Haruta looked at her hands. "This is so cool! I don't know what it means though." Ace chuckled, moving to look at her hands. "I can translate." Haruta blinked. "You- you can read this?" Ace nodded, moving to trace the markings. "I can. Now, this means 'warrior', this means 'strong female', 'fighter', 'beautiful', 'tiger', and this means 'elegant'. The rest is small filler words and sentences, like this, which says 'A strong warrior who fights with honor.'"

Haruta blinked, looking at her arms. "That's so cool! What do yours say?" Ace hummed. "It says a lot of different things, but mostly blessings and protections, as well as long lasting love." Haruta nodded. "So cool. Should we head back?" Ace nodded. "We should. I need to get into my clothing." Haruta nodded. "You do. Let's head back." They then headed back and when they got back to the boat, Ace headed to get into his clothing, Trevor joining to help him. It took about 10 minutes, but he was soon in the clothing needed. They were extravagant, and he was looking forward to seeing how Marco looked in his clothing. He had an idea, but to see it would be so much better.

When he was finally in his clothing, he looked at himself in his mirror, fixing the small things, so it looked the best. He did feel Dust had gotten a request, but sent him to Trevor to fix it, he could handle it. He would have liked to have Trevor here, but if it wasn't doable, it wasn't. He could handle the request. It probably wasn't important.

-x-

Trevor sighed as he read the request Dust came with. Ace wouldn't like this. He did speak with Hanzo first, who said what he was thinking, making him sigh defeated. He then went to find Ace. He found Ace half an hour later, ready in his clothing and seemed to be on his way to the ceremony, to get prepared there and meet up with Marco. Yeah, this would make him annoyed.

Trevor gave a sigh as he held the parchment up. "Sorry Ace, you don't want to hear this, but you're needed." Ace blinked, before he deadpanned. "What?" Trevor knew Ace would be unhappy. "Sorry, but you're needed." Ace blinked. "Send someone else!" Trevor shook his head. "Sorry, Bunny. Everyone is busy or injured. We need you." Ace moved a hand to his face, trying to think. "Ace?" Trevor heard Marco say, heading towards them. Ace didn't answer, and as Marco was on his way to speak, Ace moved to sit down on a crate. "I need to sit down." Marco looked more worried with that. "Ace? Are you okay?" Ace gave a groan. "No, I'm not! Apparently, someone needs me. Now!" Marco blinked, before he frowned. "What, yoi?" Ace moved a hand. "I just got into my clothing, we just managed to gather almost everyone we like, and someone needs me?!"

Ace moved and grabbed the parchment. "Let me see this." Trevor sighed, he knew Ace would take it. He didn't like it, but it was Ace who was needed. Trevor couldn't do this. Marco moved to sit down beside Ace, looking at the note himself, frowning. "Do they need you, yoi?" Ace read the note, before he sighed, hanging his head. "Fuck!" Ace then looked at him. "Why must people be injured or busy! I don't want to leave now!" Marco moved a hand to Ace's leg. "If you're needed, you're needed. I knew this might happen, yoi." Ace looked at Marco. "You're really okay with this?" Marco hummed. "Not okay, but I can't do anything to fix it. We just need to reschedule." Ace nodded. "You're right. There's nothing we can do. I'll go tell everyone." Ace then stood up and headed out though the opening, Trevor following. "Okay!" Yelled Ace. "The wedding is off! Everyone go back to their usual day!" Trevor saw everyone blinking, before most yelled a "What!" A few then yelled out why, and Ace turned on his heel. "Because people hate me!" Ace then started to open his clothing and take it off, needing to change, and he needed to do it fast. The meeting was in a few.

As Ace moved away, Izou came up to them. "What's going on! Why is it off!" Many more came close, wondering the same, and Trevor sighed. "Ace got called. He can't say no, and no one can go instead, as they are either busy or injured. They need Ace." Everyone blinked, before they frowned, and before they could speak, Marco took a step forward. "I knew this might happen. It's fine. We'll just reschedule." Izou blinked. "Do you know how hard this was? To get everyone here?" Marco nodded. "I do. But if we did it now, we can do it again, yoi. We can't do anything, Ace will probably be gone for a while." Trevor nodded. "Yeah, he'll be gone for a week and half. Maybe two." That was long so the guests couldn't stay here and wait. They needed to do this another time. Marco nodded and said it was fine, before he went to inform everyone they would need to leave, and they would be called again when the time was right. Hopefully, next time would be better, Trevor hoped so. Ace deserved to get married.

-x-

Marco stood out on deck, them having just left the island they would have gotten married on, but it didn't happen since Ace's work came in the way. It was fine, Marco knew it could happen, and it had. They just needed to wait and find a better time, hopefully maybe being able to plan it more. After two weeks had passed, Ace got back onto the boat, looking to be a bit annoyed. Ace seemed to head for his room as he arrived, and Marco followed.

Ace moved to his room and fell onto his bed, and Marco moved to sit next to him. And before he could speak, Ace chuckled. "I cancelled our wedding. For what? Someone who had an emergency which actually could have waited three days." Marco blinked. before he shrugged. "Well well, it happened. I knew it might happen. We will try and have it again in half a year or so, yoi." Ace nodded. "Sounds good." Ace then sent a look at him. "I am sorry about this. But it sounded serious." Marco shook his head. "No, it's fine. You're an assassin, I knew it could happen, so it's nothing, yoi." Ace chuckled. "How did I score someone like you? So understanding, calm, collected, and just amazing." Marco chuckled. "I sometimes wonder the same thing. You're a kind soul."

Ace snorted. "I literally drag people's guts out and hang them by the ceiling." Marco nodded. "I know, but still, you're kinder than most I know, especially to those who deserve it." Ace nodded. "That might be true." Marco hummed. "It is. You can be so kind and loving." Ace chuckled, before he gave a breath. "I'm still sorry about the wedding." Marco shrugged. "Nah, it will be fine. We'll find a time that fits, yoi. Even if it's years." Ace nodded. "Hopefully it's not years." Marco hoped that himself, but either would be fine, he wanted to do this right, not rushed. They then spent some time in the room before they headed out and continued the day normally.

The next two weeks were calm, Ace being gone every now and then, some times for some days, a few times just for some hours. It was as two weeks had passed and Ace came to his room, that Ace moved his hands to his. "Marco, I spoke with Mike." Marco nodded. "Anything wrong?" He knew Mike was someone who was called when things were wrong. Ace shook his head. "No, but in 8 months and 2 weeks, it's his granddaughter's birthday, and he's staying with her for a week, with his daughter." Marco nodded, that sounded something the man would look forward to.

He stood silently as Ace continued. "But why I'm telling this, the week after, Mike is willing to step in for me for a week, so we can get married." Marco blinked. "He is, yoi?" Ace nodded. "He wants to see me happy, and he's willing to do this for us. I know it's 8, almost 9, months away. But it gives us the time to plan more, we can invite more people, we can do it more right. We can have everyone we like there." Marco nodded, needing a second to comprehend this, before he moved to hug Ace. "That sounds amazing. I am so glad we can do this, yoi." Ace nodded, hugging back, before they parted, Ace smiling. "Mike is so nice to do this, so nothing can come in the way. Of course, there are the marines, but if I even see them close, they're dead. I don't care if it's Sengoku himself." Marco chuckled. "I am sure they won't dare." Marco had a feeling they wouldn't dare, as so many would come.

Marco took a breath. "Should we go tell everyone the good news, yoi?" Ace hummed. "How about, we keep it between us for now, and then we tell everyone in a day or two. I want to celebrate this with you first. And we can get the invitations out and surprise everyone that way." Marco nodded. "I like that idea. Let's do that, yoi." Ace chuckled. "I look forward to this."

When the next meeting was a few days later, they did as the first time, handing the invitations out, and everyone got excited, before Izou blinked. "What if something comes up again! And Ace needs to leave!" Ace hummed. "It won't. I have someone ready to step in." Izou blinked. "And what if only you can do it? Like last time!" Ace shook his head. "It won't. Requests are handed out based on rank, and Mike, who is above me, is willing to step up for me for a week. I, for sure, have a week off." Everyone blinked, before Izou clapped his hands as he jumped up and down. "You're getting married! For real! We need to plan!" Ace chuckled. "Invitations are out. So enjoy planning the rest." Izou gave a happy sound at that, and before he could speak, Ace did. "And we're deciding clothing, as last time. I don't care if you disapprove." Izou shook his head, hands moving. "No no, it's fine! I just want to help it out, but you choose."

Izou then looked at them. "How many are coming? Less?" Marco hummed. "Actually, more. We're inviting more people." Izou blinked. "How many?" Ace hummed. "A thousand?" Ace chuckled as he had said it. "Oh my God, we're expecting a thousand guests." Izou blinked. "Wait, so the entire Whitebeard fleet, and then a thousand people?" Ace shook his head. "No, we expect the entire fleet, all from my assassin life- those on Amegakure-, Luffy and his crew, Garp and his crew, Shanks and his crew, a few strays, like Mihawk and most likely Trafalgar and his crew- I'm sure Luffy will invite him- then a thousand people." Izou moved a hand to his head. "Oh my God! That's so many!" Ace nodded. "I know, but we know many people." Marco nodded. "We want everyone we like to be there. And that's many." Izou nodded. "Apparently." Izou then clapped his hands. "But still! You're getting married! I am so excited!" Thatch moved his hands together. "So, we need to cook for over 2 thousand people. Wow, that will be rough." Ace hummed. "You'll manage. You and your chefs are amazing." Thatch nodded. "True. And we can handle the entire crew fine. One day with so many will probably go fine." Thatch nodded. "Probably." Izou then looked at Ace. "I thought you didn't like Trafalgar?" Ace shook his head. "You're right, but Luffy likes him, so he's coming because of him. But it's okay, I can handle him for a day or two.

Things then calmed down, before they headed out, and when dinner rolled by, they told the news to everyone, and partied through the night. Marco was excited for this and hoped everything would go by fine.
