When Marco got to his room with Ace, he looked at the other. "Why did you never tell me you would be old, yoi"? Ace gave a small chuckle. "Why did you never tell me you were over 2000 years old?" Marco sighed, Ace was right. "I should have. I just, I didn't want you to pity me, yoi." Ace hummed. "I never would have. I'm probably going to outlive everyone on this ship as well. If nothing and no one kills me." Marco nodded. "True. I really found the perfect person to marry." Ace chuckled, before he sighed. "Tomorrow will be filled with questions, for both of us." Marco nodded. "I know. But we will handle it, yoi." They then moved to lie down in bed, both tired.
Marco then moved his hand to Ace's. "Would you ever have told me, yoi?" Ace hummed. "If you had, I would have." Marco nodded. "Fair." Ace nodded. "I know." Ace then gave a smile to him. "You've always… intrigued me a bit. Seeing how you're around so many knowing you will watch them die slowly. Azuruko always said I should get to know you, seeing as we will be old." Marco nodded. "Did you join to be with me, yoi?" Ace shook his head. "No, I joined since it sounded nice to have a home again, a place to belong that wasn't around assassins, a calm place. I was glad when I felt you felt something for me, and I used some time to figure out if I felt anything back, which I did." Marco nodded. "I am so glad you did, yoi." Ace nodded as well. "Yeah, I am as well. I feel happy with you." Marco smiled with that. "Makes me happy to hear, yoi."
Marco then leaned in and kissed Ace, who responded to it. When they parted a minute later, Ace sighed. "I really don't look forward to tomorrow." Marco nodded. "But, there will be a tomorrow, yoi." Ace nodded. "True, that is good. I am so amazed we did that." Marco nodded. "I was sure you would fail, since Jinn said so. But I get it after you explained you couldn't beat him, but 'we' could." Ace nodded. "Your help was welcomed. Although I didn't want you there. The reason I left you behind." Marco sighed. "I wished you didn't, yoi." Ace nodded. "I know. But I didn't want you to die." Marco nodded. "No, I get it. I do, yoi. I am just glad we made it." Ace nodded, moving a hand to lie over him. "For now, we relax." Marco nodded. "We should." Said Marco as he moved a hand to lie over Ace's from, before he leaned in for a quick kiss. "Tomorrow, we will handle everything, yoi. And it will go fine." Ace nodded. "I hope so." Marco did as well, but had a feeling it would go fine.
For now, they would sleep.

Whitebeard sat in the galley, breakfast being now, everyone buzzing with questions, but none of the assassins had been seen, same with Marco. But after half an hour, all 4 came into the galley.
Thatch looked at Ace when he came into the galley and sat down with the other 3, and when Ace was seated, the chef spoke. "Can we now ask how Baldur was invincible?" Ace nodded. "Sure. Let me see if I can tell it shortly. His mother, Freya, who got exiled by a deity- not God, deity- and his mother did one last thing before she was exiled, and that was to go to each living thing and tell them to promise not to harm Baldur, but the mistletoe was deemed to be a 'young' plant- don't even ask as I have no answer- and was therefore not able to swear to not hurt Baldur, making him have one weakness." Ace then blinked. "Huh, I guess it wasn't that long."Everyone nodded, and Thatch had a frown. "Aren't a deity and a God the same?" Trevor nodded. "Yes Ace, please tell, what is the difference?" Ace hummed. "Deity is a supernatural being considered divine or sacred." Trevor blinked. "You just described a God." Ace snorted. "Gods don't exist." Trevor moved a hand out. "But that genie- Jinn- just told us the 4 Gods tale was real, and the serpent said 'The Gods have returned!'. So that's just bullshit." Ace shook his head. "I don't believe in Gods. I believe there is something out there, but not a God or Gods. Some things are more divine than others, and I believe the 4 Gods are just a saying for some superhuman being, but not Gods. And the serpent is just overdramatic."
Thatch nodded. "Is Freya a Go- deity?" Ace shook his head. "No, but yes. She got blessed since she was with a deity, who made her pregnant with Baldur." Thatch nodded. "Is the 4 Gods tale just a deity? And what is that snake?" Ace hummed. "The serpent, Jormungandr, is a mythical being. Like the stingray we met. The one you called 'pretty'." Thatch blinked. "That- that was a mythical being? I didn't know they existed." Ace chuckled. "And the big wolf with San is a mythical being. They exist." Thatch blinked. "How- how many do you know?" Ace hummed. "6 I think. Yes, 6." Thatch blinked. "What are they?" Ace hummed. "Well, Moro- the wolf-, Tala- the stingray-, then we have an elk, a bird, a bear, and a fox." Thatch blinked. "Is- is the bird a phoenix?" Ace shook his head. "No, it's more of a parrot." Thatch nodded. "Do- do phoenixes exist?" Ace shrugged. "For all I know, there is, but I have never seen or heard about one." Thatch nodded. "Okay. Can- can we meet these animals?" Ace hummed. "Not sure, they are a bit wary of humans." They nodded, accepting that.
Thatch then looked at Marco. "You didn't know about these beings?" Marco shook his head. "No, I didn't, yoi." Thatch blinked. "But… you're over 2000 years old?" Marco nodded. "I am, but I don't know everything, yoi. I've roamed a bit, but I never really went in search of other beings. I just… tried to enjoy life, yoi." Thatch looked at Ace. "And you've known for years?" Ace nodded. "Yeah, pretty easy to find out." Thatch gave a small nod. "Why didn't you tell?" Ace hummed. "Not my place." That made sense. Thatch then looked at Marco. "And you didn't tell us since you think we would pity you?" Marco nodded. "Every other person I have told has. I don't like that." That, Whitebeard got, and they would try and not do that. But he could imagine that would be hard, to know you would watch every person you cared for die slowly as they aged. Marco had had a long life apparently, so he knew this well, and was sure Marco had control and knew what to expect. But he did feel a bit sad for him, but Marco had done this for years, for millennia.
The next hours would be filled with questions for Ace and the others. They didn't see Moira, Hanzo, Daisuke, and San for some time, they were probably tired, but when they appeared, many had questions for them too, and they did their best to answer. And when they got back to the place the serpent had placed them, he helped them back out again. They then headed back to safe waters, and when they were out of the phenomenon that disabled their devil fruit, Ace helped the others home.
Whitebeard was sure things would be fine.
-x-
Whitebeard sat out on deck, everyone having calmed down as Ace had explained what he could explain as a few had more questions. But as they were discussing where to head, Ace gave a hum. "We can head to an amazing place everyone would enjoy. A party each night, no one judging you, and just freedom." Whitebeard blinked. That sounded nice, and it seemed his children agreed. "Where is this?" Ace hummed. "A bit to the east. It is still within the phenomenon that makes you not able to use your devil fruit, so you need to deal with that." Whitebeard nodded. He trusted Ace. "It's fine. And we can head there?" Ace nodded. "Yes. Since you're with me, you can." That sounded good. "Let's head there." Everyone out nodded, wanting to see this place, and Ace gave the navigators the route to it, and after half a day, they came to a stone wall, and Whitebeard felt this was wrong, which was weird. Ace was amazing with navigation. But as he was about to ask, Ace held a finger up. "Just wait." He nodded and did, and he heard Dust caw in the distance, before the entire stone wall moved, and created an opening in the stone wall for them to go through. That was amazing. As he looked at Ace, he chuckled. "It is heavily guarded, only those who are welcomed are allowed to come here." That sounded nice.
-x-
Marco stood out, looking at the stone walls on each side on the ship and wondered where they were heading. But as he was out, Mika approached him and looked at him. "You're a quick learner, right?" Marco hummed. "I believe so, yoi. Why?" Mika nodded. "We're headed to a place where they have their own dance, a very fast moving and sensual dance, which Ace loves. Want to learn it?" Marco blinked. "Yes, yoi. Do you know it?" Mika nodded. "I like the dance too. I am not quite as fast as Ace wants to be, but if you're a quick learner, I teach you the moves, and you just speed up a bit." Marco nodded, he liked to dance and would love to learn a dance Ace liked. Mika nodded. "You also need to not be afraid to dance with me, can you do that?" Marco frowned a bit. "Why would that scare me, yoi?" Mika hummed. "It is a sensual dance, you can't be afraid to touch me, because you need to learn the right moves." Marco noded, that made sense, and he would manage that, he wanted to dance with Ace.
They then headed to Mika's room and started, and it was many moves and special moves, but he felt he managed. But after an hour, them having moved to the second part of the dance, Mika shook her head. "No no, closer." Marco blinked, before he frowned. "Closer? I can't get closer, yoi." They were already touching. Mika sighed, before she moved a hand down to his leg, and moved it to be between her legs. "Like this. I will dance around it." Marco nodded, he was way too close to Mika right now. "Ace likes this dance?" Ace wasn't the one for touch. Mika nodded. "He loves it. Why would I lead you on like this if it wasn't for Ace? I don't like you like that. I want to see Ace happy, just as Trevor wants. Ace loves this dance, it moves fast and is sensual, as I said. He dances with very few like this." Marco nodded, that made sense. He really hoped Ace would like to dance with him like this, he was so close to Mika, he wanted to be this close to Ace.
They then continued to dance for hours, and Marco was excited, especially when he was starting to really get the moves. This would be amazing.
-x-
Whitebeard sat out on deck. They had been sailing between the two mountains for 5 hours now. It was a long ride. If they didn't know anything was here, he would have turned around by now. But as they had been sailing for 6 hours, they came to an open place, where there was a shore to the left, and a huge dock to the right. It was more than enough space for them, even though there were 5 boats already docked there. That was amazing. As they docked, Ace wasn't out, but Ann was.
And as the boarding plank was down, Ann held a hand out. "And, welcome to Puerto Rico!" Everyone nodded and Ann moved to the boarding plank and headed onto the island, where some children were running around, both regular children and fishmen, and when they saw Ann, they ran towards her and Ann smiled as she moved her hands to one of the children's head and gave a kiss, before she headed on, the children running around her and yelling out things he didn't get. It sounded to be fishmen.
As Ann was on the island, they did their usual routine when they docked, handing out responsibilities and such, and after an hour, Ann came back on to the ship, a few children in tow.
When they got on the ship, a child walked over to him and the child looked at the captain. "How is being a… a…. capitán?" It was said with a heavy accent, obviously not used to speaking english and having issues with the last word. Ann gave a small chuckle. "Captain." The child nodded. "Captain." He did get what the child meant, but it was always good to say it right. The captain smiled at the child. "It is freeing, the world is at your feet and the wind is with you. You get a nice crew or family and the world is yours." The child then looked at Ann, who seemed to repeat it in fishmen, making the child grin. "Awesome! I wanna be a capitán- captain!" The child then started to run back to the island, but stopped in front of Namur and bowed, before he ran on, and it had the fishman shocked, and Ann chuckled. "They are well behaved here." Namur nodded. "I'll say. They seem to know you well." Ann nodded. "I am often here and help around. I am here most, and Ace a bit." Namur nodded, looking glad by that.
Ann then clapped her hands. "And, if you fuck up here, you need to either deal with me or Ace, and believe me, you don't want that." Everyone nodded, they got that. Ace was… stern and strict, and they knew not to mess with Ace, and that meant to not mess with this place. Not that they would have anyhow, his children were usually well behaved, but there had been fights now and then on other islands. But he was sure everyone would be well behaved here.
They then headed on the island, Ann saying they didn't need to have any watching the ship, as no one would harm them here or act unfavorably, and even if they tried to, the island would attack those who were. But, the captain still had some watching the ship, just in case. It never hurt to be careful.
They then ventured onto the island, and while most seemed to be speaking fishmen, some did also speak english, and every time someone spoke to them in fishmen, someone close would translate, if neither Namur or Ann was close by to hear it. This really was a nice place. They were also preparing for festivities that they said they had each night. it wasn't for children, and they were allowed to join. Everyone beside children were allowed to join. It sounded interesting and they were looking forward to it.
-x-
Marco moved to a building, Ace with him. He had changed back an hour ago and was himself again. Which was good. The festivities were about to start soon, and it seemed it would be filled with music and dance. When the festivities started, it was as if the entire town changed, filled with the same music and dancing, and he recognized the music from what Mika had said, so he moved over to Ace, who lifted an eyebrow at him, but Marco grabbed his hand and moved him out to the dance floor. Ace looked to be on his way to speak, when Marco got into position, as Mika had thought, and it had Ace look at him in curiosity. "You know this dance?" Marco took a breath. "We will find out, yoi." Ace gave a chuckle, and he listened to the music, before he started the dance. It would start normal, before it got better. When they got half into the dance, Marco moved his leg forward, between Ace's legs, and Ace danced just like Mika, just a bit faster as she had said Ace would do. He had never been this close to Ace before like this.
The dance lasted for some minutes, and the entire song was spent dancing with Ace. being close to Ace and dancing sesually. When the song ended, everyone clapped for the ones who played and sang, before Ace gave a laugh and moved to hug him. "You know my dance!" Marco blinked. "Your dance? You made it, yoi?" Ace shook his head as he leaned back. "No, I just really like it." That made sense. "Who do you usually dance with?" Ace gave a small shrug. "Trevor, Hanzo, Raiden once, someone called Fonzi, and now, you. Oh, and I think Daisuke once too." Marco nodded, that wasn't many. He was glad he could share this with Ace.
The party then continued with dance and songs, and he looked at Ace. "How long does this last, yoi?" Ace hummed. "Until 3am, then it is over." Marco nodded, that sounded then partied during the night, and they danced more together, which was nice, he really enjoyed dancing with Ace. Everyone seemed to be on their side and be happy for them, everyone enjoying themselves. This really was a nice place.
They partied until 3am, when it ended and things went calm, and they helped clean up, before they went back to the ship to relax for the night, and when the next day came, they stayed on this place for 2 more days, before they left. And Marco got to be with Ace each evening and night, no work seeming to come in, which was good. And as a week passed, work slowly came back. And things slowly went back to normal. A few did still ask him about things that had happened in the past, while he had been alive, and Marco answered what he could answer. When they asked about his life, Marco didn't have much to say. He had traveled some, helped around as he learned a lot, and that was it. He had had some lovers now and then, but no one like Ace. Ace was beyond perfect, he was the most perfect man Marco had met, and to know he would grow old as well, was just perfect. When they asked how many, Marco didn't have a number. He had been with males and females alike, but had always enjoyed males a bit more. He had never found one to spend his life with. Everyone seemed okay with his responses, which was good. Marco was a bit glad this was out in the open, so he didn't need to hide it anymore. He would speak with Pops about it the next time both of them had free time. He had a feeling it would be a small while until then.
-x-
Whitebeard sat out on deck, and they were on the way to the island they had taken over and started to protect a year ago. The island where they had helped those first 4 children. When they did dock, a young girl that looked familiar was on the dock, and when they lowered the boarding plank, the girl ran onto the boat and hugged Namur. "Namur!" Almost yelled Alyssa, and what had the captain really glad, was how her fins on her arms and legs had regrown. It was the same colour as her mother, and they twitched every now and then. It was magnificent to see. Namur gave a chuckle as he hugged back. "Te ves hermoso." Said the fishman, and Alyssa nodded. "I can speak now!" That had Namur smiling. "How wonderful." Alyssa nodded. "Not the best, but I can." Namur nodded. "You look beautiful, Alyssa." Alyssa nodded, moving to look at her fins on her arms. "I like them." Namur nodded. "You should, they fit you." Alyssa nodded, before she called her hands as she did a small jump. "I am so glad you're here again!" That had all of them smile, seeing the girl so excited and happy.
As Alyssa was speaking with Namur, speaking mostly english, a few things were in fishmen as Alyssa had some small issues, but Namur helped her along. But as they were, Liam and Aiden came onboard, and he was glad to see both of them fine. Liam was up and walking, same with Aiden, and they seemed fine. Both, or all three actually, were really glad to see Ace, who was out to say hi and be with them, and they were with Marco as well. They had bonded the most. Even Bay and the nurses came out to say hi, which made the children happy. They were still a bit skittish and didn't like to be touched, which was no surprise after what they had been through. But as an hour had passed, he looked at the three children. "Where is Annie?" That had the children looking down, Alyssa speaking. "She's not doing too well… She has issues… adapting? and being around others." The ones out nodded and he felt bad for the girl. The three here seemed to be doing really well after everything, but he hoped Annie would get better as well, but had a feeling that would take time. Ace did ask where she lived, and seemed to head there, probably to see if he could help.
They then enjoyed being around the children, and when Ace came back two hours later, he said he gave some tips on how to help Annie, and it had everyone nod. Ace knew this well, he had been in similar situations and knew what he needed to get better, and probably told that to her parents, on how to help her get better. It had Whitebeard feel a bit bad, being reminded of what he had seen when he saw Ace's memories. It had been really harsh and he tried not to think about it. He should probably find a time to speak with Ace and bring this up carefully, to see if he really was fine. He didn't believe Ace was fine. Not after being through what he had gone through. It was no wonder he had nightmares, or night terrors. Ace had been through way too much in his young life.
They stayed at the island for some hours, before they headed on, having places to be and needed to check up on other islands as well. And as they were heading around, they stopped by Mara island, where Ace had his horses, and Ace looked glad to be there. The weather was bad, but not that it seemed to stop Ace from taking a ride. It was just raining heavily. But as Ace had been gone for a bit, thunder started sounding, and the storm was moving by fast. He hoped it would pass fast as well. And he could see the outline where the clouds ended and the sun peeked through. But it would just take some time before that reached them as it was far away.
-x-
Ace sat on the horse's back, trotting around. It had started to rain a bit more heavily, but it was bearable. A second later, the sky lit up, and Ace prepared himself for the sound, and when it came, the horse reared, Ace moving with it. Horses were naturally scared of thunder, which was understandable. Thunder could be scary. It happened a few more times, Ace prepared for the rear. But after a minute, the sound came at the same time as the lightning, shocking Ace and he lost his balance as the horse reared, making him fall off the back and down to the ground, hard, his head banging down on the hard ground as everything went black.
-x-
Marco frowned when there seemed to be a racket on the shore, looking down to see Ace's horse rearing and neighing, seeming upset. The storm had moved by fast and the worst seemed to be over, but it was still raining and he could hear and see the lighting and thunder a bit away. Marco walked off the ship, seeing a few trying to calm the horse and make it run away, but it wouldn't do so. "What's going on? Where is Ace, yoi?" Jensen shook his head, stepping a few feet back as the horse reared. "I don't know. It just came and started making sounds." Marco nodded, taking a few steps towards the horse, who seemed to calm down. When Marco was close, the horse made a motion with his head, trotting a few feet away before he stopped, looking at Marco. When Marco just looked at the horse, it moved closer to him and bowed, making Marco frown. "You want me to mount you, yoi?" The horse did his best of a nod, giving a neigh. It was as if the horse wanted him to follow. Marco carefully moved to mount the horse, and the second he was on, the horse took off, Marco losing his balance for a second, before he got it back. He then kept his balance, sure the horse wanted to show him something. After a few minutes, the horse came to an abrupt stop, and when Marco looked around, he saw Ace lying on the ground. Marco felt shocked and quickly got off the horse and ran over. "Ace!" There was no response, and when Marco was close, he noticed Ace was soaking wet. How long had he been here? He then lifted Ace's head, feeling for a pulse, glad when he found one. "Ace! Wake up, yoi!" He noticed Ace bleeding from his head, quite badly actually. Had Ace fallen off the horse?
He then lifted Ace, moving over to the horse, who bowed automatically, Marco doing his best to mount with Ace in his arms. "Go a bit slower, yoi." The horse nodded, or Marco thought he nodded, before he started a trot back to the ship. It took a bit longer than before, but he was soon on the shore, seeing a few out, even though it was still lightly raining, just a drizzle. "Get Bay ready! Ace is hurt!" He yelled out, one moving to alert Bay, while Marco dismounted the horse, before he ran towards the infirmary with Ace. When he got there, Bay was ready by a bed and he placed Ace in it. "What happened, Commander Marco?" Marco shook his head. "I don't know. I found him like this. I think he fell off his horse and hit his head, yoi." Bay nodded, moving to look at his head, finding the wound quickly as it was bleeding. "It needs to be stitched, it's a bad wound." Marco nodded, stroking Ace's head as Bay went to fetch what she needed. Bay quickly came back, starting to clean the wound, before she stitched it. Marco got a chair and placed it next to Ace's bed, sitting down in it, hoping Ace would wake up soon.
When Bay was done stitching, she covered the wound with a plaster, a see through one so they could watch it, before she left, telling him to ask for her when Ace woke up, hopefully he wouldn't be out long. It was an hour later he heard a groan from the bed, Ace waking up. He asked a nurse to get Bay, while he moved a hand to Ace's shoulder. "Hey, you okay?" Ace groaned. "My head hurts." Marco nodded. "You hit it, somehow. I think you fell off your horse, yoi." Ace nodded, before he opened his eyes and looked at him, getting a frown. "Who're you?" Marco blinked, before his face fell. Had Ace hit his head that hard? He had forgotten? "I-I-" Ace gave a chuckle. "Kidding, kidding." Marco blinked before he gave a small swat to Ace's shoulder. "Don't do that! I was worried, yoi!" Ace chuckled. "And now I'm fine." Marco nodded. "What happened?" Ace hummed. "Thunder scared my horse, he reared, I fell." Marco nodded, that was about what he had believed. Bay then came over. "Commander Ace, you're awake, good. How do you feel?" Ace hummed. "Fine. A small headache." Bay nodded, moving to look at the wound after she took the plaster off. "You got a bad wound, but it has started to heal I see. You'll be fine." Ace nodded. "Good. I shouldn't have been riding in the storm." Bay nodded. "It is dangerous to ride in a storm. It startles the horses." Ace nodded. "I know, but I thought I could manage." Bay shook her head. "Bad decision." Ace chuckled. "I know. But it has gone by fine before. The storm has never been this close though. I didn't have a buffer between the lightning and thunder." Bay nodded. "I see. Next time, stay off a horse's back when it's thundering." Ace nodded. "I will."
Ace then looked at him. "How did you even find me?" Marco chuckled. "Your horse came here all bothered and wanted me to follow or mount him, and I did and found you, unconscious." Ace nodded. "Huh, that was smart of him." Marco nodded. "It was. He is a smart horse." Ace nodded. "He is. Shall we head out?" Marco hummed, moving to look at the wound on Ace's head. "Should you? You probably got a bad concussion." Ace chuckled. "Don't be so worried. I will be fine." Marco wasn't too sure about that, and decided to ask Bay, who clicked her tongue. "You can leave, just don't sleep for the next 5 hours. If it starts hurting again, or gets more painful, come back." Ace nodded. "I will." Bay nodded. "You're free to go then." Ace nodded, seeming glad at that and the two headed out. When they got out, the news Ace was injured had spread, and they met Trevor with a bunch of others outside. The weather was nice now, the storm having passed, which was good. "What happened to you?" Asked Trevor, and Ace chuckled. "Took a ride in the thunder, my horse reared, I fell." Trevor nodded. "Makes sense. Did you hit your head?" Ace nodded. "A bit." Trevor then moved over and checked Ace's head. "Wow, it still looks pretty bad." Ace shook his head. "It does not. It'll be fine soon." Trevor nodded. "Good. How did Marco find you?" Ace chuckled. "My horse got him." Izou frowned at that. "Why doesn't he have a name? Wouldn't that be easier?" Ace sighed. "He doesn't like any name. How about this, I will give you the honor of naming him, and see if you can do it." Izou blinked. "Really? I can do that?" Ace nodded. "Yes. He never likes the names I try, so you try." Izou blinked. "O-okay."
They then headed out on deck where the sun was now shining. The storm must have moved fast. Ace then explained to a few more what had happened, as more were worried for Ace, including Pops. As everyone calmed down and Ace was fine, Ace headed off the boat and to his horse who was on the shore, seeming glad to see Ace. Ace moved over and petted the horse. "Hey you, you little smart beast." Marco and a few others also moved off the boat, including Izou, and when he was, Ace clapped his horse. "Also, Izou wants to name you. Let him try." The horse shook his head, but looked at Izou, who stood shocked for a few seconds. "Uh, you're a black beauty, so how about Blackie?" The horse shook his head, and Ace hummed. "No." Izou blinked. "Okay. How about Bandit?" The horse shook his head again, and Ace chuckled. "Just you try, I've tried every name I know." Izou gave a thoughtful hum. "Shadow?" The horse shook its head again, giving a neigh. Izou then continued with names for the next hour, the horse always shaking its head and it seemed Izou was running out of names, making Ace chuckle. "Hard, right?" Izou nodded. "He's picky." Ace nodded. "He is. So have fun. Tell me if you find a name. I want to name him something, but he hates all the names." Izou nodded and tried more names, one name had the horse not shake its head right away, making Ace also interested. Izou then tried names close to it, and some the horse used a few seconds to shake its head, making him believe he was on the right track. "Onyx?" The horse stood still, before he shook his head. "Obsidian?" The horse shook his head right away, making Izou hum. "Opal?" A shake of the head. "Eclipse?" It took a few seconds, but the horse shook his head.
It had Ace hum. "How about Equinox?" The horse stood still, before he neighed as he reared. It had Ace blink. "You like Equinox?" The horse nodded its head, and Izou blinked. "What does that mean?" Ace hummed. "It's the days of the year when night and day are the same length. It only happens twice a year." Izou nodded. "Cool! So his name is… Econix?" Ace shook his head. "Equinox. It has a q." Izou nodded and tried again. "Equinox?" Ace nodded. "Right. He finally has a name. Thanks for the help." Izou blinked. "But you named him, not me." Ace shook his head. "Your help made it possible. You tried names I haven't tried and got into the line he liked." Izou nodded. "Okay. Glad I could help." Ace nodded. "You really did." Ace then went and petted the horse. "Equinox, nice name. It fits you." The horse nodded its head as it neighed. It really did fit him, it was a rare name, but the horse was a rare breed. It was just perfect.
Things were going fine.
