When the infection broke out, Joel took his 12-year-old daughter Sarah and fled his hometown. On their way out, they got shot at by a soldier. Joel took the bullets and got mortally wounded while Sarah survived. 20 years later, she was entrusted with an important task that could change the world, though it would mean to make a deal with a devil from the past.

Chloé, a 25 yo FEDRA soldier, stumbles upon Joel, a smuggler trying to enter illegal goods inside the Boston QZ. Their encounter presents her with an opportunity : if she saves him from his sentence, he might help her find her mother. Will Joel accept this mission despite the dangers? Will the tension between them evolve into something more? How far across the USA will they go?

Ellie knew what she wanted, had always known what she wanted. So why the hell did she feel like this now. When Dina wakes up before her alpha after a hot and messy night, she has the sudden urge to fuck with her which ends up making her late to class (but was well fucking worth every second of it).

Joel tried to leave Ellie for good when they reached Jackson. The day after that, he changed his mind and stayed with her. Ellie deals with the absolute mindf*ck Joel put her through in the following days on the way to the university. This is a fast read, but the prose is filled with lots of headcanons I had for how Ellie would process this.
