Read and relax

Whitebeard stood out on deck, as they were in the midst of a battle, and Ace was doing surprisingly good, although the enemy's fear of fire helped a good deal. But then, the enemy captain yelled for someone to do it, when someone threw something at Ace, which he catched and just seemed confused, when the man yelled "I banish you to another dimension!" Then there was a blink, and then Ace sat on the ground, with a shirt on? That was weird, why did the enemy have a power to create shirts? Ace then looked at his hand, seeming shocked, as if he had had something there, before he looked to his left. "Wha- Okay, weird." Said Ace, as if expecting someone to be there. The enemy just ran while this happened. It looked like they had achieved their objective. Now what their objective was is unknown. Ace then looked at them, blinking. "Why is everyone looking at me?" Thatch moved his hand. "What's with the shirt?" Ace blinked. "My shirt? I always wear a shirt or sweater." Thatch blinked. "But… your mark?" Ace seemed a bit shocked. "My mark? You want to see my mark?" Thatch looked confused. "The mark you cherish! Pops mark! Your tattoo!" Ace blinked. "Oh fuck. No. Before that blink, did an enemy attack and say 'I will banish you to another dimension!'?" They all nodded, Whitebeard speaking. "Yes, son. Why are you acting weird?"

Ace nodded a bit. "Well fuck me. I am not from here. I've heard about this. I am not from here, I am not your Ace." Thatch blinked. "You do look like Ace? Is this an elaborate prank or something?" Ace nodded. "I am Ace, I am Portgas D Ace, but not your Ace, I am from another dimension." They all blinked, Thatch giving a laugh as he moved to hug Ace. "Funny! You jokester!" Ace, surprisingly, avoided it. "Please don't hug me. I don't like it." Thatch blinked. "Okay, not funny. What is going on?"

Ace blinked. "Does it look like I am joking?" He said with a serious face, and he expected Ace's face to light up and start laughing. As he always did when trying to act serious in a prank, but no, it didn't happen. He was serious. Thatch blinked. "I don't like this. Stop joking!" Ace shook his head. "I am not joking." Thatch blinked. "You… aren't?" Ace nodded. "I know I probably look like your Ace, but I am not. I apparently had Whitebeard's mark on my back, I do not." Thatch crossed his arms. "Prove it." Ace shook his head. "No, I am not showing you my back." Thatch rolled his eyes. "Then I don't believe you. And why did you call Pops for his name? You call him Pops!" Ace hummed. "I don't say 'Pops'. And Whitebeard isn't his name, Newgate is, Whitebeard is a nickname."

Thatch gaped, and Ace moved a hand. "Okay, you obviously don't believe me, but I've heard about this. Changing dimension." Thatch was on his way to speak, when the captain stopped him and looked at Ace. "So, this is… normal? This happens?" Ace nodded. "Yes. It is rare though, but I know how to reverse it." Whitebeard nodded. "Okay. How?" Ace hummed. "There should be a stick somewhere, break that, and I am back home." Whitebeard blinked. "Why should I believe that?" Ace hummed. "You don't need to. But if you want your Ace back, you should." Whitebeard blinked. He wanted his Ace back. "Okay, what should we do?" Ace hummed. "Search for the stick." Made sense.

Thatch blinked. "You do realize how big this boat is, right?" Ace nodded. "Yes. I would have put it in my room. So, search there." Whitebeard nodded, he would try, he felt there was some truth to this. He would ask a few to lightly search, while he tried to make this more out.

Whitebeard sat in the galley, eating dinner, everyone present, even the other Ace, who ate slowly and little, and when he was about to comment on it, knowing Ace had hidden his appetite, Thatch spoke before he could as Thatch looked at Ace. "Can you, for the love of God, just eat!" Ace blinked. "I just ate." Thatch blinked. "You had one piece of bread!" Ace hummed. "And a yogurt." Thatch blinked. "That's not enough! I will not have a repeat of this!" Ace frowned. "Repeat of what?" Thatch moved his hand. "You faking being full! You almost starved! I will not have a repeat!" Ace blinked. "But I don't eat much." Thatch blinked, before he moved his hand up. "You do! You eat like a hundred men!" Ace looked confused, before he blinked. "Oh yeah, I did, as a child. Then I had the surgery." Thatch blinked "You can't have surgery to fix hunger!" Ace nodded. "And you're right. But my surgery wasn't to fix hunger, but to fix the amount I ate. I have removed 95% of my stomach."

Thatch blinked. "That sounds so dangerous! Why?!" Ace looked to be thinking. "Because I can't eat much, it serves nothing good." Thatch blinked, "I don't get who would want that kind of surgery." Ace hummed. "Food is scarce." Thatch blinked. "We have food! When did you do this!" Ace hummed. "I was 11 or 12 I think." Thatch blinked. "Wait, why did Dadan allow that?" Ace blinked. "How do you kno… we're not on good terms. I didn't grow up there." Thatch blinked. "Then where did you?" Ace moved his hand. "Wait wait, go back. Please tell me what this Ace has said. It can't be what I have done. How did I get here if I was with Dadan?"

Thatch shrugged. "You showed up here trying to kill Pops. Then you joined us. I think the rest of your crew are still on Moby 2." Ace looked confused. "Rest of my crew?" Thatch nodded. "Your pirate crew." Ace blinked., "I am not a pirate. I never have been. Well, before you." Thatch blinked. "Then how did you wind up here with us?! You are with us?" Ace nodded. "I am." Thatch moved his hand. "Then where is your mark?" Ace hummed. "Oh, I never took one. Doesn't fit with my work." Thatch frowned. "Work?" Ace closed his eyes for a second. "Did not mean to say that." Whitebeard looked at Ace. "What do you mean 'work'. You were a pirate captain before us." Ace sighed. "I was not, not in my world. I was an… assassin."

Thatch blinked, before he laughed. "Good one! You being an assassin? You couldn't even take on Pops! He beat you with a finger! And you be silent!? Yeah right!" Ace nodded. "I am very glad you don't believe me." That was a weird response. This one did seem more… calm and controlled than the Ace he knew. So, for all he knew, it might be true. He would try and ask more about this Ace. It looked a lot like Ace, in the face and height and body. He hadn't shown his back, and said he didn't have a mark there, but he didn't know if he believed it or not, not yet.

Thatch stood out and looked at Ace, who was acting so… calm. Ace wasn't this calm. "So, do you have any… love interests?" He wondered if he had found Marco yet. Ace hummed. "I am married." Thatch blinked. "You're already married! To Marco!?" Ace frowned. "How did you know it was Marco?" Thatch moved his hand. "You're engaged. But not married." Ace nodded. "Cool. In my world, I am married to Marco. We had a beautiful wedding." Thatch blinked. "But, you hate it when we touch you? How are you married?" Ace hummed. "Boundaries. We respect them. I am not saying you don't, but I hate touch." Thatch shook his head a bit. "I don't really get that one. You crave it here. You were starved of it." Ace blinked. "I- no, I am not starved of it, I hate it. I don't want to be touched by people. Please don't touch me." Thatch nodded. "Will try." This Ace was so weird.

-x-

The next day, Whitebeard sat out in his chair, everyone dotting around. Ace, or who he believed to be Ace maybe, stood a bit to the side, a serious look on his face, which didn't really fit. This one seemed so serious. But after a while, Whitebeard saw an enemy closing in on them, and they were battle ready. Not a large crew, but he had heard about them. They were few, but strong. This would be hard. They had a large reputation.

So, they all got ready, and they all knew of their reputation, the other crew probably thinking they could win over him and take his status as well. When the ship was a bit away, and before he could react, Ace ran past them, and jumped over the railing, which made him blink, especially when Ace disappeared in black smoke? Before he looked at the enemy ship, and there was Ace, fighting. Without his weapon even, or his powers. And worse, he was winning, clearly winning. He was giving out punches, evading everything, even bullets. How? It was as if he knew everything. When he was done, not even 10 minutes later, they all just stared, Ace seemed to give a breath and seemed to have gathered himself more, before he was gone in black smoke again, and appeared on the Moby again.

Whitebeard looked at Ace. "How did you do that? How did you travel so fast?" Ace looked confused. "I… What? You don't know… my powers?" Whitebeard frowned. "I do. You have the Mera Mera no Mi. You're fire. That was just… black smoke." Ace blinked. "I have… what? No, I don't. I am not fire. I don't have the Mera Mera no Mi." Thatch blinked. "Then what do you have?! That was so cool! Your name is legit Firefirst Ace!" Ace shook his head, "My moniker is not Firefirst." Thatch blinked. "Then what is it? You do have one, right?" Ace seemed to be thinking. "It is something else." Thatch blinked. "What is it! I wanna know!" Ace nodded. "You wanna know?" They all nodded, and Ace seemed to be thinking a bit more. "It is death. My moniker is 'Death' Ace."

They all blinked, Thatch speaking. "Seeing what I just saw, I can maybe believe that. How did you learn to fight?!" Ace thought for a bit again. Which was weird. Ace never gave things much thought. "You don't know about my past here. I had another life. I was never a pirate. Before you." Whitebeard looked at this Ace. "How did you learn to fight? What were you before us? What powers do you have?" Ace nodded a bit. "I don't tell people. It is personal." Thatch blinked. "You're… serious? You tell us everything." Ace blinked. "No, I don't. I like my privacy." Thatch blinked. "But… don't you trust us?" Ace hummed. "You? No, I don't. My Thatch, yes, I would trust him. You're not him. I am not your Ace."

Thatch then blinked. "Wait… you said before, that you were an… assassin? That's so cool! How is that!" Ace shook his head. "Not answering." Thatch gave a pout. "It just, sounds so awesome and cool!" Thatch then looked at the now empty enemy boat, filled with some blood. "I also can't believe you just annihilated them." Ace hummed. "Needed to get off some steam." Thatch blinked. "Why didn't you just say you needed to talk? Or maybe a duel?" Ace blinked. "Because killing is the only thing that helps. Duh." They blinked. "But," Started the captain. "You don't kill. You don't like killing." Ace snorted. "I am a homicidal maniac back in my world. I kill daily, usually. Helps me keep sane." That didn't sound like Ace at all.

Ace looked at him. "When will you realize I am not your Ace?" Maybe this Ace was speaking the truth. But it could also be lies. He needed to think.

-x-

Thatch looked at this weird Ace. "So," Started Thatch. "You're a part of us? In your world? And we just accept the fact you're a killer?" Ace blinked. "You are pirates, you plunder and kill as well. Why is it so bad that I do it as well?" Thatch blinked. "I don't know, I just have this feeling you might do it for… fun." He didn't want to come off as mean. Ace blinked. "Oh totally, I do that. Killing is fun." Thatch blinked, "You are very weird." Ace gave a small hum. "Things are different in my world. I miss it." Thatch nodded. "I miss my Ace." Ace nodded. "Hopefully, we will get this sorted out." Thatch nodded and really hoped for it as well.

Thatch looked at Ace. "So, we are also docking soon, you wanna head off? I don't know, maybe go to a bar?" Ace hummed. "Nah, I don't like islands. I don't know who I'll meet, I think I'll stay here, just in case." Thatch nodded, and when they docked a bit later, he headed off the boat with a few and started to have fun. He really liked being docked.

When he got back to the boat later, there was a guy causing some ruckus there, and Ace stood a bit to the side while Pops tried to handle it, when Ace stepped forward, and the man said some comments about how Ace could never have a chance against him, he was just a weak child. When Ace was closer, the man swung his arm, but Ace just evaded it easily, before he headbutted him, hard, making him fall down. And he did expect that to be it, he was probably just a drunk man.

But then, Ace, with no sound, moved his leg up and stomped his head in, killing him instantly. It made many of them yell out in shock. How did Ace even manage that? He wasn't that strong. This one did seem so much stronger. Ace then looked at the man's friends most likely, who looked so shocked. "Remove him. Or end up like him." The man's friends nodded and did, and when they had, Pops looked at Ace. "Why did you kill him?" Ace looked back at him. "He was being disrespectful, I don't take kindly to disrespect. And I am a bit annoyed." That was clear. Pops blinked. "He did nothing bad! He didn't deserve to be killed!"

Ace gave a small glare, and he felt some Haki come forward. Did Ace have Haki? But it wasn't much, but it also seemed like Ace was trying to hold back. "You want to end up like him?" Pops blinked. "Are you threatening me?" Ace glared. "It is not a threat. A promise." Pops blinked, and he expected him to retaliate, when Pops seemed to stand down. "Stay in your line." Ace nodded. "I will, if you do." That seemed to be enough for Pops, and he hoped this wouldn't happen again. This Ace was so violent, so strong.

-x-

The next day, Whitebeard sat out on deck, them still docked. He didn't like this situation he was in. His Ace, was gone. This one who said he was Ace, clearly wasn't. And, he had a sinking suspicion it might be a ruse. This one hadn't shown his back, and he felt that might be since he either didn't have his mark there, but then again, he said he didn't have one. But he couldn't help thinking it might be since he might have one. And that's why he hid it. Maybe this Ace was from the future? But why did he say he was from another dimension? Had he done anything bad enough so Ace needed to come back from the future? He didn't know. He needed to try and talk to this Ace, who was gone for now, saying he needed to think and had headed to the room he had gotten. He didn't want to use Ace's room, something about privacy. But maybe also since it would bring up memories. This was a curious situation. When he also tried to focus on this Ace, he felt an immense power in him, he felt strong, and Ace wasn't strong. He felt he should be cautious. But then again, this Ace had killed that crew so easily, and that man, with no second thought.

As he was in thought, he heard someone ask who came, and he noticed a stranger coming onto the boat, with silver hair. Not many approached them, at least without a reason, so he would be ready.

The stranger came onto the boat, and looked at him. "Looking for Ace. Please, for the love of something, tell me he is here." Whitebeard blinked. He didn't know who this was, and he was about to ask again how he knew Ace, when Ace came running from around a corner, and he expected the man to be attacked. This Ace seemed so violent. When Ace jumped into the man's arms, legs around him, and the man moved his arms around Ace, and Ace gave a laugh. "Finally! A familiar face!" Ace then leaned a bit back, having leaned his head on the man's shoulder and looked at him. "It is you?" The man nodded. "Oh yeah, it's me. No idea where the fuck we are, so glad to see you too." Ace nodded and moved to hug the man again. "Thank God! I miss home." The man nodded. "Yup, me too. So glad to see you again." Ace nodded. "Yeah."

Whitebeard still had the frown. "You… know each other?" Ace nodded. "Yeah, from the same place thingy." Ace then looked at the man again. "You know what the hell happened?" The man shook his head. "Nope. No idea, woke up a bit away and found familiar faces who were like,-" Ace nodded. "Who are you? But I am here also. They have an Ace, just not me Ace." The man blinked. "What?" Ace nodded and looked at him, "What fruit did you say I had?" Whitebeard nodded. "Mera Mera no Mi." Ace gave a nod. "And my name?" Whitebeard hummed. "Firefirst Ace." Ace looked at the man, who burst out laughing. "Firefirst?! No, it doesn't fit. You're 'Death' Ace." Ace nodded. "Tried to tell them. They have issues."

The man nodded. "I get that. I have issues. Wait, I saw a wanted poster for this Firefirst Ace, did look like you, but he had their mark on his back." Ace nodded. "Yes, I have said I don't." The man blinked, "You haven't shown?" Ace shook his head. "No idea what it will do to help this." The man nodded and looked at Thatch. "Your family still nobles?" Thatch nodded, on his way to speak when the man continued. "They still brand people?" Whitebeard frowned. What? Thatch frowned too. "What! No! Who the hell brands people!" Whitebeard wondered that himself. Ace gave an "Ah, I see. Smart of you, Trevor." Ace then moved out of the hold of the man and stood on the ground, turning around, and lifted his shirt. He had no idea where this would lead, but as it was lifted, he felt dread fill him at the scarred back but not only that, there were 5 brands on it, one of which was Thatch's family mark.

Thatch looked horror stricken. "Did I do that!" Ace shook his head, letting his shirt down and turning around. "Nah, your uncle did. I guess I have no brands here." Whitebeard shook his head. "No, you don't…" Ace nodded. "Well, I do. I am not your Ace!" Trevor nodded and looked at Ace. "Killed anyone yet?" Ace nodded. "Yes, a few. It was what made them realize I am not theirs actually, as other me doesn't really kill." Trevor frowned. "You not being homicidal? Can't see it." Ace nodded. "Agree." Thatch moved his hands to his head. "I am so confused! Why do you have my mark on your back!" Ace shrugged. "Met your family, they are mean, they branded me, I killed him, then I left. Easy day." They all blinked, and he didn't know what to do or say, this really wasn't their Ace. "Okay; I believe you, more. You're not our Ace." Ace nodded and looked at Trevor. "I think their me is in our place. That makes sense in my mind." Trevor nodded. "Yes, that makes sense. I hope he is okay, and that they don't send you to kill people if this one doesn't kill."

Okay, so now, he had one more who took this Ace's side. And the back explained a lot. That's why he hadn't shown it. How he had gotten so many scars, and being so young. He could still be from the future, but he didn't know how. But this was all weird, but he didn't know which was most logical. Future Ace, or another dimension Ace. But then again, this other guy, Trevor, seemed to know this Ace well and be from the same dimension maybe.

Then a question popped into his mind. "If you're from the same place, why were you so far apart?" Ace hummed. "Maybe this universe doesn't have a Trevor? Or maybe he is too far away? It couldn't find someone to replace it with maybe, so, he placed him randomly. I mean, there are some rules here, and Trevor wasn't so far away. Like the stick I told about, which might be two, should be on the boat. It can't be too far away from me. They should also be together." That actually made some sense. This was a weird situation, and this didn't seem like his Ace, and he missed him. This one rarely smiled and laughed, Ace always did. He missed him.

A bit later, Whitebeard looked at Trevor. "Are you also a part of my family? In your world?" Trevor hummed. "Yeah, I think I am. But it has been a bit up and down as I kinda said no, but then I got to be a reserve commander." The captain nodded. "So, do you have my mark?" Trevor shook his head. "No, I do not. Dangerous in my line of work." They all blinked, Thatch speaking. "Wait, are you also an assassin? How is having a mark dangerous?" Trevor hummed. "Easy, they remove it. Very painfully." Thatch blinked. "Do you realize that is the most heinous thing they can do to someone!" Trevor nodded. "Which is why they do it. Especially Blue Blooded Patricians." Whitebeard frowned. "What is that?" Trevor hummed. "Basically a Noble, but worse."

Thatch blinked. "W-worse?" Trevor nodded. "Yeah. Like, yeah, Nobles are bad, I hate most of those who have their views, but BBP is so much worse. Much rather be captured by a Noble than BBP." Thatch nodded slowly. "Am… I bad?" Trevor frowned. "What? No, you're not a Noble, you're a Whitebeard. You are awesome. Don't let anyone tell you anything different." Thatch nodded slowly. "Okay."

Trevor then looked at Ace. "Also, it might seem like BBP's don't exist. Should we just stay here?" Ace hummed. "No. I miss home. Maybe this place isn't as evil, but I wanna go home." Trevor nodded. "Agree, I also miss Mika a lot." Ace nodded. "I know." Trevor then looked at him. "Also, slaves, how common are they?" Whitebeard blinked, and before he could speak, Thatch did. "Slaves? Are you insane!? Common?! You can't have slaves! That is wrong!" Ace hummed. "This place really isn't as evil. They are more common in my world." Thatch blinked. "Have I… kept slaves? In your world?" Ace shook his head. "No, but it is what made you run away, you didn't like what your family did." Thatch blinked. "That's not why I ran away? I just didn't like their views. They are mean, but slaves? I don't think so."

This was a lot to take in, this other dimension sounded bad. Then he remembered something. "Maybe Teach knows something. He has been to a few bad places." Ace blinked "Marshall D Teach?" Whitebeard blinked. "Yes, isn't he with me in your world?" Trevor moved to speak, but Ace stopped him with a look and mouthed something, before Ace looked at him. "Yes, but things are a bit different. Where is he?" Whitebeard hummed. "On a mission. He will be back in 2 weeks." Ace nodded. "Hopefully, I am back home by then. Is he a commander?" Whitebeard nodded. "He is a reserve one, he didn't want to be one. But he should have been my second commander, but then you showed up and became it. You did ask him why he didn't want to be one though." Ace nodded. "Cool." Ace then changed the topic, which was a bit confusing. It seemed there was something about Teach that Ace and Trevor didn't like. He would try and maybe bring it up later.

The next day went by fine, he did notice Ace heading off to speak with Thatch in private once, and Thatch seemed a bit thoughtful when he came back, but it seemed like it passed. He felt he was missing something, but he didn't know what.

-x-

Ace felt on edge, he didn't like it here. He felt everything was wrong. Everyone was wrong. Except Trevor, which was so nice to have someone here. He really felt bad for the other Ace, and hoped everyone was nice to him.

As he was standing and just trying his best to relax a bit, Marco came over to him. "So, I was thinking, yoi." Ace nodded. "What?" Marco gave a small hum. "Why don't we head to bed, yoi?" Ace blinked and looked at Marco. "Did you just suggest what I think you did?" Marco shrugged. "You're basically Ace, yoi." Ace nodded, frowning. "Does this Ace mean this little to you? Any Ace would do?" Marco blinked. "He means the world to me, yoi." Ace hummed. "And yet, you said something else. What would he think of this? You speak as if he means nothing to you, just a warmer." Marco blinked. "He is not! I love him, yoi!" Ace nodded. "Then don't ask me to join you in bed." How could Marco even suggest this if he loves the other Ace? He didn't like this Marco, this one was uncaring. He was selfish.

Ace really missed his Marco. Ace started to leave, needing away.

-x-

Marco moved a hand out to Ace as he was leaving. "You can't just lea-" Marco didn't get anything more out, as just as his hand was about to touch Ace, he felt so much dread as Ace moved incredibly fast, grabbing his hand before he even knew it, and throwing him to the ground, and moving his leg to his throat, looking down at him with a look that was clearly saying 'I will murder you'. "Touch me, one more time. I dare you." Marco swallowed, understanding two things. This Ace was very clearly not their Ace, and he was strong. He gave a nod, making Ace nod, but still stayed with a leg on his throat for a bit, before he moved it off and left, heading past a corner.

When Ace was gone, Marco sat up and looked at the others, and it was clear they had felt the same as him. Thatch looked at him. "I thought he was going to kill you." Marco nodded, moving a hand to his neck, feeling he just escaped death. "I did to, yoi. That is clearly not our Ace." Trevor gave a hum. "If, you were not Marco, if you were not a part of this crew. You would have been dead, just letting you know. This is your one, and only, warning." Then Trevor headed after Ace as well.

Marco looked at Pops, who looked shocked as well. Ace usually had no chance against him, Marco could see his every move. This Ace, no, he was very different. Much stronger and faster.

-x-

Trevor got the room Ace used and walked in, seeing Ace sitting on the bed with his head in his hands, and Trevor sighed as he sat down next to him. "We'll get home." Ace sniffled. "I miss home, Trevor. This isn't home." Trevor nodded. "Never said it was. Because it isn't. Listen, I know this is hard, but we will get home." Ace nodded. "I hope so, and I hope they won't annoy me more." Trevor hummed. "I think this Whitebeard is worried for his Ace, and that's why he seems annoyed. And I do get you don't want them touching you. But you did seem a bit short with Marco." Ace nodded. "He asked me to go to bed with him, since I am an Ace." Trevor blinked. "How is he not dead?" Ace sighed. "I don't want them to be mad at me and maybe portray that to other Ace." Trevor nodded. "You know, you have such a huge heart. You care a lot about people."

Ace sighed. "I feel I don't care much about them here, but I shouldn't mess up for the other Ace either. He doesn't seem as…" Trevor nodded. "As smart, tough, calm, rational, and all that. No, I get it, I do. You're just a really nice person most times, you care, a lot, for those who are innocent." Ace sighed. "I try," Trevor nodded. "I am sure he will back off, he seemed to realize that you are stronger than his Ace and could kill him pretty easily." Ace gave a weak snort. "It would mean nothing to me. But it would for other Ace. And, I think they wouldn't be very happy with me." Trevor nodded. "Yeah, you're right. But if he oversteps again, hurt him a bit." Ace gave a weak chuckle "I got your approval for that?" Trevor nodded. "All the way." Ace gave another weak chuckle.

Trevor moved his arm around Ace's shoulder. "You're a good person, Ace. Never doubt that." Ace nodded. "I will try." Trevor nodded. "Good. Now, let's go try and not murder anyone here." Ace hummed. "I make no promises." Trevor chuckled. "I know."

The next day was rough, but it seemed to be okay. This Whitebeard was annoyed a lot, being a bit short with everyone, at least compared to the Whitebeard Trevor knew. He also didn't like it here. He couldn't believe it had been 3 days already. But, on day 5, something happened that made him shocked.

Thatch ate the cherry, before he looked at Ace. "Catch!" He said with the cherry seed in his mouth, and when Ace looked at him, with a frown, Trevor could only stare in shock as Thatch spit the cherry seed out and on Ace, and it hit him on the cheek. And he could only stare as Ace's left eye twitched, which was a huge huge danger sign. But then again, Thatch just basically spit on Ace.

Trevor jumped in front of Ace, between him and Thatch. "I am sure he didn't just spit on you!" Ace looked to be holding back, not even able to speak as he was mad. Thatch blinked. "You were supposed to catch it!" Ace's eye twitched again, and he had limited time. "Why did you do that?" Thatch blinked. "Because it is what we do…" Trevor blinked. "You… spit on each other?" Thatch blinked. "I didn't spit on him!" Ace's eye twitched again, as Thatch had, and Trevor blinked. "But you did. What was supposed to happen?" Thatch shrugged. "I do it, Ace catches it, he roasts it, I eat it." Trevor blinked. "Okay. Two major issues. Ace- this Ace- has no fire power. And, you just spit on him. What the hell is wrong with you?"

Thatch blinked. "I didn't mean it badly!" Ace moved his hand up, moving it as he breathed, probably trying to contain himself. Probably trying not to murder this Thatch. Trevor looked at Thatch. "If I were you, I would walk away. Not run, walk. And, apologize before you do." Thatch blinked and looked at Ace. "I am sorry." Then he walked away, and Trevor looked at Ace, who still breathed. "Try not to kill him." Ace took a breath. "He spit on me." Trevor nodded. "I know, he should be killed for that, but try not to." Ace took another breath. "I don't think I can look at him again. At least not for now." Trevor nodded. "Reasonable. When we get back home, I will make sure Thatch isn't too close." Ace sighed. "It wasn't him." Trevor nodded. "I know, but this, rightfully, annoyed you. You need a Thatch break." Ace nodded. "I might do. I really hope we're home soon." Trevor nodded. "I am sure we will be. It's only been 5 days, we need to get home soon. I also hate this place."

Ace sighed. "It's been 5 days. We are no closer. We've searched everywhere that seems logical." Trevor nodded. "Yeah. I would have hid it in your room, but this Ace, he has little things and no secret compartments. I mean, I don't know." Ace nodded. "I do to- oh my God. No." Trevor blinked. "What?" Ace took a breath. "In the captain's room. It will be there. He is the captain, he is the leader here. I don't mean I am the leader in our world, but my room is the hardest to get into. Here, only the captain has a key to his room. It is either there, or in Bay's office." Trevor hummed. "Makes very much sense. Also, doesn't Marco and Whitebeard have keys to your room?" Ace gave Trevor a look. "I wonder how that changed, Trevor." Trevor blinked. "Oh… Right, I told him to lock himself into your room. Sorry. Unpickable?" Ace nodded. "Oh yeah." Trevor nodded. "They are probably having fun." Ace nodded. "I think so too."

Trevor nodded. "We should inform them. I think this Whitebeard will be mad that we will need to search his room." Ace nodded. "I would have been. Let's get this over with." Ace nodded and they headed to speak with the captain. "Whitebeard," Said Trevor and the captain looked at them. "Yes?" Trevor hummed. "We believe the stick we need might be in your room." The captain blinked. "No. You will not be searching my room." Ace hummed. "Oh, I'm sorry. I want to get home. And to be honest. I would have thought you wanted your Ace back. But I see you value your privacy and maybe a potential secret or two rather than getting him back. Good to know how little he means to you." Well, Ace was still annoyed. Trevor got it.

The captain blinked. "I care about him! He is my son!" Ace lifted an eyebrow. "And yet, you don't want him back, since this will most likely be it." The captain blinked. "I will do anything to get him back!" Ace hummed. "Obviously you don't." Trevor moved a hand out to Ace. "Okay, we get it, you're still mad." Trevor then looked at the captain. "We have a very strong reason to believe it is there. If you need to, you can get an hour or two to move anything you would find personal. But we need to search it. We can't get back without it, your Ace can't come back while we are here. It would be unheard of to have two Ace's from the same dimension in the same place, a paradox. For him to get back, we need to get back."

Whitebeard nodded. "I need my Ace back. Yes, we can search my room, but only commanders." Ace looked at Trevor. "I can't join if Thatch is." Trevor nodded. "Noted and understood." The captain blinked. "Did anything happen between you and Thatch?" Ace's eye twitched, and Trevor hummed. "Shortly said, he spit on Ace, in his face." Whitebeard blinked "Why?" Trevor hummed. "Something apparently your Ace and Thatch does with cherry pits?" Whitebeard nodded. "Ah, I see. You do not need to join." Ace nodded. "Thank you." Then the captain left to get his commanders to search, and Trevor joined, to make sure they found it.

The next day, after having searched all night, Trevor was getting tired of this. Maybe it wasn't here? But then, Thatch moved his hand up. "I found it! I think." Trevor moved over, and Thatch held two sticks, making Trevor nod. "Looks right. Let us get out of here." They did and met up with Ace, and Trevor showed the sticks, making Ace nod. "One for you, one for me. Silver is you, red is me." Trevor hummed. "Why is yours red?" Ace hummed. "Other Ace is fire, and I kill, blood is red. Yours is silver since you have silver hair." Trevor hummed. "Yours should have been black." Ace lifted an eyebrow. "Black like my soul? I don't think other Ace has a black soul." Trevor moved a hand and motioned to Ace's hair. "I meant your hair." Ace nodded. "Make sense." Trevor nodded. "Yeah. Let us break them!" Marco moved his hand. "How do we know that won't make you be here permanently, yoi?" Ace looked at him. "Do you think, that I, would want to stay here, with you? I want my Whitebeards. I hate it here. I want to go home."

Whitebeard nodded. "I see. We should go out on deck." Trevor nodded. "Big space, sounds nice. I can't wait." They then headed there, and Trevor looked at them. "Also, break my stick, snap it in two, and then wait about 5 seconds, then break Ace's." Whitebeard blinked. "Why?" Trevor hummed. "So, I can warn about a few things. I just need 5 seconds." Whitebeard nodded, and the sticks were handed to Marco, who looked at him and Ace. "I hope this will work. Also, I am sorry, yoi." Said Marco looking at Ace with the last part. Ace gave a nod, Marco nodded as well and then Marco got the stick up and snapped Trevor's, and there was a light, before Trevor opened his eyes and saw he was on the deck, about where he had stood, but the layout of everyone was a bit different, and he held a hand out to Thatch. "Okay! You need to take a step back!" Thatch blinked, but did, and then there was another light, and Ace appeared, who basically instantly left to go on a murder spree most likely.

Well, the fact he could use teleport meant they were back, which was good. Finally! They were home! Oh lord, Trevor would hug Mika forever!

Back in the other dimension, Marco stood, holding his breath as snapped the first stick, and Trevor disappeared in a blink, then he counted to 5, and snapped the other one, and this was it. When the blink happened, Ace stood there, no shirt on. Marco couldn't see his back, but based on the smile the others had, he had the mark. Ace blinked. "Am I back?!" Marco nodded and smiled. "You are, yoi." Ace blinked, before he gave a blinding smile and was instantly in his arms. "Marco!" Then he let go and hugged Thatch. "Thatch!" Then Ace ran over to Pops and was lifted and Pops gave his best of a hug, and Ace laughed. "I need all the hugs! I am deprived! I got one hug in 6 days!"

Marco nodded. "Makes sense in how other Ace was, yoi. He hated touch." Ace nodded. "I got that. I am also a really cool person there! I help slaves! I free them! I am an assassin! A mercenary! A pirate! I beat Pops in a duel!" This was so much to take in. But then again, that Ace seemed so strong and calm. Controlled. Thatch frowned. "You beat Pops?" Ace nodded. "They said I did. But that one sounded to be stronger than me? They also said he was homicidal." Thatch nodded. "And he was. He killed a few here without a second thought." Ace blinked. "Wow. But I am back! Where are my hugs?!" They all laughed and got in a group hug.

Marco was so glad to have Ace back again.

In the right dimension, Marco sat in his bed when evening came, Ace beside him, and Marco looked at Ace, so glad to have Ace back in his dimension. "Did I really ask you to go to bed with me, yoi?" Ace nodded, and Marco felt so confused. Why would he do that? "What did you do, yoi?" Ace hummed. "Said my mind. Then I tried to leave and he tried to stop me. I so almost killed him. I would have, had it not been you." Marco nodded. "You should have… not killed maybe, but done something, yoi." Ace hummed. "I scared him. A lot. I took that as a win." Marco nodded. "Sounds good, yoi. I am so sorry other me did that." Ace shook his head and gave a smile. "It wasn't you, so it's fine." Ace then gave a breath. "You have no idea how good it is to be back." Marco smiled. "You have no idea how good it is to have you back, yoi." Ace chuckled. "Yeah, I guess."

Ace gave a sigh. "I can't get over the fact how selfish and rude other you were." Marco nodded. "I understand that. He doesn't sound like…. me, yoi." Ace nodded. "He didn't seem like you either. He was all… wrong. It really made me miss… you." Marco moved a hand to Ace's leg. "I am here now, yoi." Ace gave a smile. "And you have no idea how glad I am about that." Ace moved and gave him a hug. "I've missed you so much." Marco was so glad to have Ace back.

In the other dimension, Thatch stood in thought, and Ace came up, "Hey, Thatch. How are you? You seem so... thoughtful." Thatch nodded. "It is just something other you told me." Ace blinked at him. "What? Did I say anything bad?" Thatch shook his head, before he sighed. "I don't know. I think it may have been a warning." Ace frowned. "What kind of warning?" Thatch shook his head. "I promised not to tell anyone." Ace blinked. "Tell me! Tell me! I wanna know!" This was so much more like his Ace, he really didn't like the way that other Ace had spoken when given the warning. Thatch sighed. "It was just, if I find a fruit, to be cautious of…." Ace frowned. "What?" Thatch shook his head. "It is nothing. Probably nothing." Thatch then smiled at Ace. "How is being back? I've missed you!" Said Thatch as he moved and hugged Ace, really having missed him, and he wanted to change the topic. Ace usually didn't notice those things. And Ace didn't have the best memory. Ace chuckled. "I am fine! That other place was so awful!" He could get that. But still, that other Ace had seemed so serious when saying that. He would try and forget it.
