The list of lover candidates.

Natsuki had originally just wanted to go and check out one of the people on the list, the one with a name that seemed like she had heard it before. The list had only a few names, the name of a boy who seemed like a background character "Yamada" who she wasn't interested in finding out more about. Takuma, who she just never found during her investigation, and a man who had abnormal levels of aether that his body gave off even compared to the other candidates. There was also a female candidate, but most of her sisters would veto their lover being a woman. So she was realistically only able to investigate, or try to investigate, 1 of the lovers during her trip.

Her sister Shino wanted her to find Takuma.

She would disappoint her sister, but the others she was sure would be happy with the man that she had chosen. The candidate had already been approved, the kiss had allowed her to transform after all. An approved candidates kiss was all that was needed for the transformation, but she would still need to report it to both her father and her sisters.

She smiled happily.

'He was so brave, even though he wasn't going to win, he wanted to protect me and the kid. He even saved my life.' Natsuki had a sparkle in her eyes when she remembered what had happened. The lover candidate had risked his own life for the good of others, and against a horrifying demon.

Most people would be-

"-so pissed, I couldn't do anything!"

Naruto punched his punching bag as hard as he could without knocking it into the wall behind it. He was extremely pissed, because his life had been saved. He went off half-cocked like an idiot and involved himself in trouble that he wasn't strong enough to deal with. He faced off against a demon that he couldn't even attack, because it had been taking everything he had just to survive and protect the girl that had been doing the actual fighting. Even with a paper fan, she had managed to block attacks better than him, and she dodged with more ease than he had dodged.

He had been saved by the girl he had been trying to save.

Then she vanished, she disappeared before he could question her. She disappeared in a golden light, as if she had just not been there in the first place.

It sucked.

Who cared if he tried to save her, when he just ended up getting saved because he was too weak to defeat the demon himself. He had been willing to become a target so she could get away and rescue the child, but that was all he could have done.

Play distraction.

How could he ever face his "Mother" if he didn't get stronger than he was, how could he look her in the face again at his current strength.

Naruto slammed his forehead against the punching bag.

Naruto picked up his phone the VERY SECOND he got a phone call.

"I'm not in the mood to talk right now Skuld... and how did you get my phone number again?" Naruto asked as he answered the phone, seeing who it was on the caller ID.

"How is my Midgard chained brother? Are you so rude you can't even answer your dear sister, when she just seeks to know how her brother is handling his unfortunate life amongst mortals?"

His sister.

His delusional sister, who he had never actually met in person since they were children. She called him on the phone pretty often, but that was about it. She was never in a place where they could see each other, he bet that she was overseas or something. She was obsessed with Norse mythology to the point that she practically tried to live it. Naruto could only palm his face, as he tried to imagine telling her that he had come face to face with not only a REAL demon, but a REAL valkyrie.

If he told his delusional sister that, it would blow her mind.

She already believed she was "Half-God, Half-Human", and if she learnd that valkyries were REAL, she would abandon her life overseas and come straight back to Japan.

"Midgard is just fine, but I'm really not in the mood to talk. We can talk another time, when are you going to be in Japan?"

"I have no plans to go to Midgard anytime soon, not until it is time to destroy the valkyries"

"Of course you don't... the only person in my family who talks to me, won't even lower herself to come and see me." Naruto hung up the phone with that stated.

...

He cursed as he felt instantly regret when he allowed his temper to take over for a moment, and get him to hang up on her. He would try and call her back when he had a cooler head, he couldn't see himself talking with her calmly in his current state. Naruto took his ripped shirt off, before he changed into a new shirt.

He needed to go train.

-In Asgard-

"-and Father agrees."

"He actually faced down a demon to protect you, and some kid he didn't even know. That does sound very brave."

The 9 sisters.

Ichika Brynhildr Valkyria, the oldest of the sisters who stood as the 3rd shortest of all of them. She was nearly the shortest, with shorter black hair tipped with red and sharp red eyes. She was one of the more well endowed of the sisters in terms of breast size and butt size.

Futaba Gerhilde Valkyria, the second oldest and tallest of them with short wavy blond hair and closed eyes. She was one of the most well endowed with a taller and more motherly aura about her when compared to her own older sister.

Misa Ortlinde Valkyria, another of the more tall sisters with recently trimmed messy green hair and more rounded green eyes. She had a more average figure when compared to her own stacked elder sisters, though her average figure was more athletic overall when compared to several of her younger sisters.

Shino Waltraute Valkyria, about the same height as Ichika, her facial features were mostly hidden by an armored helmet that she wore, only revealing her nose, mouth, cheeks, and part of her chin. She had the least developed body of any of the sisters, despite being the 4th oldest of them all.

Itsuyo Schwertleite Valkyria, slightly above average height, but with a full figured model-type body, and long black hair with purple eyes, with a more hime-styled cut hair style. She had a small mole under her eye, 2 of them on her neck, 1 on her boob, and 1 on her thigh. She had among the larger breast sizes when compared to most of her sisters, and a perfect hourglass figure.

Mutsumi Helmwige Valkyria, average in height, with a more pear shaped body with wider hips and a more thin torso. She was even more well endowed in the breast area than any of her sisters, despite her more pear shaped body. Medium length pink hair and a darker pink to her rounded eyes.

Natsuki Siegrune Valkyria, petite in all areas, she was almost the youngest of her sisters at the 7th oldest. She had a similar pear shaped figure to her older sister Mutsumi, with her hips being her more pronounced feature. She was thin with a smaller, more bubble shaped rear end and very small breasts.

Yakumo Grimgerde Valkyria, taller than Ichika, but with the most petite body of the group when not counting Shino or the youngest sister. A more thin body with an hourglass figure, unlike her two youngest older sisters. She had almost no breasts and a smaller butt, and she wore headphones over her ears even when in the bath. She had light blue hair and dark blue eyes, and a more neutral face as she glanced between the breasts of all of her sisters.

Finally, the youngest.

The youngest sister was Kururi Rossweisse Valkyria, the childlike in body and personality of the group. Long orange hair done in twin tails and yellow eyes, being a child her body had not matured enough to make any statements regarding her physical features other than her large forehead and the fact her eyes were the most intelligent of the group. She was the youngest, the shortest, but she was the most intelligent of all of the sisters.

The 9 Valkyria Sisters.

"So, our future lover isn't going to be Takuma..." Shino seemed to be saddened by the outcome of the lover hunt.

Ichika just laughed.

"I don't like the idea of increasing our strength with a lover, but if my beloved little sister approves of this guy, then I approve." Ichika just laughed. She enjoyed hearing about how the man was willing to fight a demon just to allow her sister to escape combat. That was a real man that she could approve of, somebody with the backbone to fight when needed. The bravery to face the odds even when his human body didn't have the power needed to win.

"He was also tall, and pretty handsome... oh... and his cheeks had 3 whisker marks on them, and his hair was all wild and spiky. He was handsome, but it was a rugged kind of handsome... but his face was also pretty... it was like he inheritted a woman's face, but added his own good looks... and he didn't even hesitate to fight for my sake." Natsuki bragged about the lover that she had found for all of them.

"He's the boy with the abnormal amount of aether."

The sisters were gossiping.

While the girls were gossiping.

-In Midgard-

"I thought I would find you here brat, I'm going overseas tomorrow for a tour. Maybe instead of training, you should start working on writing the next book in the series."

Naruto was sitting under a waterfall when a loud voice called out to him, but he didn't even open his eyes to see who it was. He already knew who it was without even needing to see them.

"Write your own books."

"The books YOU write are more popular for some reason, I mean, I don't understand why, you're just a vir-"

Naruto grabbed a rock and threw it, and from the sound of a person shouting in pain, he could tell he got him right in the nose with that rock. Naruto smirked while training. He hated writing books, but it was how he paid for his living expenses. Naruto stopped smirking when a rock hit him in the forehead, and he leaned forward.

"OW!"

"Don't throw rocks!"

"Don't throw rocks at somebody with their eyes closed jackass, at least your eyes were open!" Naruto shouted as he held his swelling forehead in pain. It wasn't even the same rock that he had thrown, judging by how much it hurt, the rock that hit him was larger than the rock he had thrown to start with. "Just get out of here, I'll start writing the next book when I feel like it! Go do your stupid book signing overseas, or a tour, or whatever it is." Naruto grabbed the rock and threw it back at the man.

They started to throw rocks at each other.

"Fine, see if I get you any gifts!"

"I don't want them, have a safe journey bastard!" Naruto shouted as he threw a final rock at the man as he started to walk away. "Don't forget to call when you get there!" Naruto shouted just as he vanished.

He then went back to his training.
